There is another thread on here with a guy who bought an aftermarket silver ring for his home button and his TouchID works perfect and it looks great for those interested...I love my Space Grey iPhone 6...sometimes I miss the Slate Black iPhone 5 color though, I'm sure they could have reformulated the paint to make it more scratch proof but that would've been harder...either way Space Grey looks great.- dead pixel - backlight bleed - uniformity (one side darker, yellower) - smudge / smear inside glass - dust inside screen - dust or dirt inside glass (outside of screen area) - recessed / uneven volume button (on one but not another) - sticky vibration button (normal ones have a nice firm click) - uneven pressure / sticky / unbalance on sleep wake button (normal ones have a nice click to it) - uneven home button pressure (perfect ones have a nice click to it, but this is personal preference) - uneven gap when assembled (run your finger on the edge on each side and compare for your 6/6+) - dust inside camera lens - general cosmetic scratches / chips / dings (Apple logo, aluminum, buttons, sim slot) And this list hasn't even covered technical issues like wifi, Bluetooth, Touch ID, vibration rattle, etc.The beautiful iconic and very distinguishing iPhone bezels including the home button with one of a kind innovative and flawless security feature makes the iPhone the iPhone, a stunning standout.LG made great use of the screen and smaller form by moving the power button in the back.Nice size, solid button feedback, Touch ID works perfect, excellent camera and solid battery life for my usage.Too bad amex wil NOT cover liquid damage, broken screens.. only stuff like a broken home button, volume button, lcd going bad (not shattered)never had gold before the black's always been default, but i went to the AS today and the gold with white looks awesome and in the brown leather case the little gold accent ring around the home button is fabulous.... p.s.Pre-ordered 6+ 64GB SG @ 1.46am CDT on 9/12 Estimated delivery 10/2 - 10/13 My AT&T site reads 'pending shipment' Cancel button on premier site reappeared 3-4 days ago No sign of any shipment or tracking number Happy for others seeing some progress ... just wish I could see some kind of update! Then there's the topper: "I've exchanged my iPhone 30 times because each one either had a dead pixel, was a gram lighter, had a screen too yellow/blue, the outer box had a dent in a corner, the shrink wrap has an imperfection, the moving lens elements rattle when I smack it against a hard surface, or the home button felt funny, and now Apple doesn't want to exchange it anymore.I had hoped they would reduce the Home button or put it on the side, and have a great screen with a great form factor. The best place to stick a notification light would actually be around the home button, some kind of circular pulsing light would look brilliant.I'd love to see like the post above some form of waterproofing so that I'm not afraid to use my iPhone in the rain also and I've sent this suggestion to apple, a small translucent ring around the home button that has a pulsating ring of light for missed calls, messages, email etc if not then a led somewhere for the same purpose, a smart wifi option so it switches off once you leave your home wifi and will come back on once your home or it can remember where other wifi locations are and switch back on once you get to that area.I'm on the phone in a quiet room, walking and moving around, bending to pick something up from the floor, turning my head left and right while moving, and i hear the button clicking against the bezel. You will need to open your iPhone 5s to be able to view the volume button contacts, and slide something (I used a tiny piece of paper ) inside the gap that makes your volume keys jiggle.... You will need a pentalobular screwdriver (the one that was required to open the iPhone 5) and a suction cup (the kind that you stick on windows and mirror)... just follow the couple of steps on iFixIt website: It worked for me... you must not be scared of opening your iPhone, and be careful enough not to break any connection wires under the screen (read the above iFixIt link for more info) Unfortunately, if it's the power button you want to fix, you wont be able to do it my way My power button jiggles a tiny bit, but it's hardly noticeable... when the iphone was opened I noticed there was no way to properly see the button and gain access to itMy home button feels very solid and no strange angles when depressed which I noticed all the phones in the apple store had this issue on launch month. It's funny, a friend of mine came over, and I tried his 5s, button action was perfect! It's a great shame as everything about it was perfect, screen was good, casing had ZERO damage and the power button was nice and firm. And the 5c fits right into an iPhone 5 case, the only thing is the volume button shape which throws off an otherwise perfect fit.I bought two iphone 5S silver one is perfect quiet nice and smooth yhe other is click like the button is hitting the ringIt's kind of funny with this water thing, I had a second gen iPod touch a few years ago and somehow I managed to render the sleep button useless from my sweat on an arm band after a run.My favorite thing on this is the glowing apple logo and the apple logo home button, the home button on this is probably capactative which would be great if apple introduced that.yeah but that lag in your video is very serious and clearly seems to be something mechanically defective in your device if that is common, I came from a 6 to a 6 plus and the 6 plus is just as buttery smooth fast as the 6 that i came from, with no lag or stutters for me ever I also have TLC nand memory, which is suppose to be the worse NAND that causes some people issues but i myself have had no issues at all with it Try a hard reset (home and lock button until screen turns off completely) and also try turning on Reduce transparency in accessbility in general in settingsyeah but that lag in your video is very serious and clearly seems to be something mechanically defective in your device if that is common, I came from a 6 to a 6 people issues but i myself have had no issues at all with it Try a hard reset (home and lock button until screen turns off completely) and also try turning on Reduce transparency in accessbility in general in settingsI'm so sick of the iPhone 6 and iOS8 3rd party keyboards totally unreliable App crashes are among the worst its ever been on iOS Another phone with a home button that feels like its about to give in Restored iPhone again today (set it up as new when i 1st got the 6) but tried doing same today .... phone decides 2 hours later to start heating up drastically and chewing battery .... was depleting fast than i could charge it.It's not going to feel like the home button on the 4S or 5 for that matter, but if it's clicking and feels cheap it might be defective.I think opening the task manager in Iphone is a lot worse since you have to double press which much more tedious and slow (and eventually killing the home button like what happened to my 3GS and 4s).You seem to believe that because Samsung have a capacitive, ugly, illuminated button, every phone's back button is bad.Stop being lazy and set the timer, your thumb moves maybe a total of 5 inches during the process, you can click the sleep button right after you see the timer pop up so she doesn't respond, or you could make an angry post on the internet and pretend like that will help. And while I was standing there, two people came in with bad speakers and one with a bad home button.I don't have any backlight bleeding, no dead pixels, perfect home button, good battery...a lot of which would be worse on a replacement phone. The back button seems so cumbersome and annoying. It was terrible idea and takes up ugly screen space on bottom might as well have a home button.I have realised that the glass around the home button is not as perfect a fit as my 5S.It's been sent in for repair/exhange a total of 5 times, between my ownership of it and my significant other owning it after me, for everything from batteries to a bad home button, to a bad sleep/wake button, to my cracking the screen once.I've received replacement flex cables with defective sleep button in the past, but I think it is possible for the volume buttons to be defective, as well. The button got worse and worse. And surprise, something like the incessant bitch-fest that the OP put up over a power button moving isn't normally covered.Let's say the home button is bad or battery is bad.I was having issues with the home button from day 1... My fault for not taking it in straight away, and of course Apple would have to take "on trust," but in this case, the home button issue (at worst) was made worse by the fall.Loose sleep wake and a very horrible cheap home button.Again, it feels like a cheap plastic toy with a defective button!I wouldn't say the home button loudness is annoying , it's annoying when I click the button and then hear 2 or 3 clicks like it's popping back into place. And we've had occasional issues with the 4 and 4S's but now that the 5's are being passed around its seems like there is always someone with a bad power button or lousy battery. That looks stunning The only thing I don't like is the home button put on the frame, thats so android like and I never liked it on my friends device but the rest looks great & I also like the light up Apple Logo but that would be replaced by the home button again, maybe the lil square lines of that button could light up when I get a notification, I would welcome it...otherwise it depresses me that we all have so many wonderful ideas but we all know that Apple will never implement them into the final productWhat make things worst, My iPhone 5 is in a return box for Apple because of a bad power button.

replacement
If you are confident you installed the replacement battery correctly I would think it wouldn't really be worth your money to have repaired.Replacement ok. IPhone 3GS - perfect iPhone 4 - perfect iPhone 4 white - perfect iPhone 4s - perfect iPhone 5- perfect iPhone 5s - perfect then lost on holiday, replacement, perfect iPhone 6 Plus - perfect iPad 2 3G - perfect iPad 3 3G - perfect until about 8 months old, 1 inch line of dead pixels.I'm now very very happy with my 2nd replacement unit which is doing absolutely fine and shows no signs of any bending after 2 1/2 weeks (with the exact same kind of usage that the former iPhone bent under after just 2 days).I got Applecare + on it, this phone is way too beautiful to put a case on it imo, bought Applecare+ for peace of mind, and knowing I can get a replacement for around $80 if anything happens besides theft Much much better then having to pay alot more if you happen to bust your phone, Applecare + is awesome, and it's also for 2 years, AND boosts your 1 year limited warranty to 2 yearsI can read articles without eyestrain; movies our vibrant and crisp; and as a heavy user, the battery is very impressive compared to the iPhone 5 I gave up -even after the battery replacement. They did take my credit card in case I never returned the defective unit, but they never did charge me any kind of fee for the advance replacement.first of all ... nice screen name secondly, i am amazed that they already have replacement phones available. As for OP having tiny scuffs around edges etc, Honestly having owned iPhone 5 and 5S right out of the box from Apple and gotten my iPhone 5 replaced twice (due to screen issue and because I wanted the AWS T-Mobile USA Compatible one), both my iPhone 5 replacement units along with brand new came that I originally purchased came with some tiny tiny marks on the shiny edges, but it didn't bother me because my iPhone worked perfectly and I ended selling my iPhone 5 11 months into the year for amazing price and the buyer was extremely happy with it as well.If so (as mentioned), be nice, polite, and honest and you'll likely get a replacement without issue.I'm currently happy with the condition of mine as its perfect without any blemishes or anything so am concerned accepting a replacement that maybe be 1 degree better but have cosmetic blemishes etc .Luckily, I was given a GREAT replacement (the buttons are super tight, nice and "clicky".I just don't know if it is worth upgrading if I'm happy with my 5 as it is (aside from the terrible battery life I'm getting at this point - though I think replacement batteries can be had for pretty cheap).People get replacement for tiny bending (wobbles) when it's obvious not a customer fault, but in your case it looks like some excessive force could have been applied, so bad luck. After everything that has happened so far I don't know if I should feel good that Apple was cool about a replacement, mad that it happened or worried that it might happen again.I suspect that even though some people simply got a bad Genius, many of the posters on this forum with bent iPhones that were denied a replacement phone were turned down due to their awful attitudes.Purposely ruining the phone to get a replacement is dishonest and unethical. My co worker had a cracked screen that was so bad the glass pieces were cutting her fingers and she had scotch tape at the worst place to stop the cuts I was on eBay one night and saw a cheap screen replacement and bought it for her - replaced it at my lunch time for her while she went to get us lunch She would have never repaired it had I not done it myselfI don't have any backlight bleeding, no dead pixels, perfect home button, good battery...a lot of which would be worse on a replacement phone. As I've posted before, decide whether or not getting a replacement is worth it knowing you might get a phone with a worse screen, scratches, issues, or is bent out of the boxArgh very sorry for you ... durability doesn't seem to be the 6 (Plus)'s best strength :-/ (and it is to be expected but these small form fitting cases don't help much) If this is considered a screen replacement, the damage won't be bad: .I'd do the same, but I'd need to take my meds; and if I show to the store with the meds, I'd get mugged; and if I get mugged, I'll be in even more pain without my meds; and if I'm in more pain, I get angry; and when I get angry, I deploy and take revenge; and while I take revenge, my water bottle gets blown up in the collateral; and when my water bottle gets blown up, I have to go to Japan to get a replacement. But the $99 was a nice insurance policy and I did get a free replacement in year 2 for things that naturally went bad.If it appears that your replacement is still bad, you should CALL APPLECARE, state your case (politely) that your replacement is bad.I've received replacement flex cables with defective sleep button in the past, but I think it is possible for the volume buttons to be defective, as well. That really is unbelievable for an apple product, 3 bad ones in a row Steeve Jobs most be angry lol, I really hope you get a good one because they really are good phones Call your cell compony i now Verizon over nights a replacement and you just send back the bad one with the box the new one comes inI figure, if it's this hard to see the lines myself, people will think I'm crazy if I try to show them so it's not even worth risking a replacement that may be way worse. And the last thing I want is too get a replacement that is worse than my current week 39: -3 flat -2 long edge -2 short edge This is definitely the worse apple issue I have faced throughout the 10 different purchases I've made over the years!Sad when we try to live with obvious flaws because the fear that the new replacement from Apple could be worse. They said this is a replacement driver and every angry apple person is calling up mad.

power
Also works great inside and outside the Power Support Air Jacket cases, keeps them looking great.Since the 3DMARK is doing everything in its power to STRESS the device, and while watching it on my AIR was still impressive (to me) I am starting to become more confident that the PLUS will last well through two years and good enough for my third. Some kind of clever solar power built-in the screen so that the phone recharges while being used outdoor.LG made great use of the screen and smaller form by moving the power button in the back. They wanted to include a larger amount if ram but the real world cost, both monetarily and power consumption wise, was too great. You know it's funny, with the Macbook Pro line, the 15" and 17" models were always superior (higher resolution, dedicated GPU, more RAM, longer battery, etc) however people did not feel bad about getting the 13", as it was the best combo of portability and power for most. You will need to open your iPhone 5s to be able to view the volume button contacts, and slide something (I used a tiny piece of paper ) inside the gap that makes your volume keys jiggle.... You will need a pentalobular screwdriver (the one that was required to open the iPhone 5) and a suction cup (the kind that you stick on windows and mirror)... just follow the couple of steps on iFixIt website: It worked for me... you must not be scared of opening your iPhone, and be careful enough not to break any connection wires under the screen (read the above iFixIt link for more info) Unfortunately, if it's the power button you want to fix, you wont be able to do it my way My power button jiggles a tiny bit, but it's hardly noticeable... when the iphone was opened I noticed there was no way to properly see the button and gain access to itIt was a cheap eBay iPhone with no power and you're wondering if it's worth fixing. It's a great shame as everything about it was perfect, screen was good, casing had ZERO damage and the power button was nice and firm."Ultra low power consumption: IGZO can maintain the onscreen data for a certain period of time without refreshing the data, even when the current is off.Um, PhoneArena battery testing is awful and they dont even disclose how they run their tests, they are not reliable at all, Anandtech has the best real world life usage testing PhoneArena doesnt even disclose how they do their testign, they dont go at all into details, their testing is not reliable and doesnt match more then half the times with multiple other battery tests done by other websites and also reviews Anandtech is one of the most reliable, reputable non biased websites on the web, their results and testing and analysis is really almost unmatched in the industry Anand does not write any articles or post anymore on Anandtech, he has put others complelty in charge and now works basically full time at Apple, you dont just throw out years of extremely reputable fame and non bias and renown that Anandtech has built over the years with the industry, terrible damage control, its widely known now that PhoneArenas testing is flawed and that they dont even disclose their testing Lol yeah, im sure the iPhone 6 plus only gets one hour more of battery life then the 6, what a joke, nobody takes PhoneArenas testing seriously anyway, their testing is flawed they dont even disclose how they do their test I went from a 6 to a Plus and I get way more then one extra hour of battery life with my Plus What do you expect, it powers a Quad HD screen , the GPU has to push more pixels, the display is bigger and has a bigger drain on the battery, the 28nm Snapdragon 805 is not as power efficient as the 20nm Apple A8, this was pretty obvious just by looking at the specs on paperI think the Note implementation is dumb beyond dumb (though it does have the advantage in that the OLED display means the blank parts don't consume power).iOS is indeed very aggressive with suspending inactive applications (provided you don't have them refreshing in the background), but the other aspect that allows the 6 and 6 Plus to do well in real-world battery tests is the insane power efficiency of the 20nm A8.The G3's display is much dimmer, not nearly as accurate, has worse black levels, worse off-angle colors and contrast, and all the while consumes more power. Some extra features which can't take much 'processing power' at all, so I don't see why it is worth slaying speed (iPhone 4) and battery life (iPhone 5) for these quite worthless new features. And surprise, something like the incessant bitch-fest that the OP put up over a power button moving isn't normally covered.Nothing really I have my wifi and Bluetooth on, but I turned off most the the location services I don't need and left only the ones I need like camera, find my iphone etc, with everything thing on I should get close to 7-9 hours, but to be honest I mostly used it so far for normal usage, no map usage today such as Waze, it drains battery power like mad, I'll post update lasted tomorrow after using Waze to show the difference in battery power. And we've had occasional issues with the 4 and 4S's but now that the 5's are being passed around its seems like there is always someone with a bad power button or lousy battery. What make things worst, My iPhone 5 is in a return box for Apple because of a bad power button.
warranty
I always buy Apple care + it's a great deal and peace of mind is worth the extra cost, your paying $1000 for a phone so an extra $100 is worth it to double the warranty and to protect it from accidental damage.I got Applecare + on it, this phone is way too beautiful to put a case on it imo, bought Applecare+ for peace of mind, and knowing I can get a replacement for around $80 if anything happens besides theft Much much better then having to pay alot more if you happen to bust your phone, Applecare + is awesome, and it's also for 2 years, AND boosts your 1 year limited warranty to 2 yearsGet Apple care + it's well worth the cost, any time you buy a high end phone or device getting Double the warranty and accidental damage protection is worth it.Really awesome when I'd been using a difficult to use 5, then a verrrrry slowwww 4, then to a brand new 5 for free out of warranty This whole experience makes me wonder exactly what kind of dirt gets into my pocket though heheYou got lucky Great customer service to still take care of you even after the warranty coverage expired.I actually got mine replaced under warranty due to that problem (it started within a few months of having it and got worse as the months went on and I finally decided to get it replaced before warranty was gone cause it was getting pretty bad) and then used assistive touch on the new one to keep it from happening again. My sad effort of sucking the water out of the headphone socket was in vain :/ I took it to the genius bar and they advised me that water damage is outside of warranty (which I knew but I was trying to wing it). This is my usage, it looks pretty bad: Battery CycleCount: 465 DesignCapacity: 1430 FullChargeCapacity: 1056 Status: Success BatteryCurrentCapacity: 97 BatteryIsCharging: true ExternalChargeCapable: true ExternalConnected: true FullyCharged: false GasGaugeCapability: true My warranty expires on December.
genius
- not sure if that's policy, but nice of the Apple genius to declare "Cosmetic conditions: out of box" for a phone with microscratches "visible at an off angle without looking for them" and a nail-catching dent in the glass As for the added disclaimer to the thread, I know it may sound paranoid or obnoxious but you gotta draw a line somewhere, otherwise it becomes extremely hard to draw conclusions based on this kind of thread. It's like awesome, amazing, brilliant, genius.... Upworthy has hyperboled (yes, I'm using it as a verb) the internet.I used to use the virgin deal , but after being given a couple of out of contract iPhone 4 we went with Genius wireless, we have three phones on the verizon network for just $75 each per yr, there are some other deals for time, data etc, but for pretty low users this is perfect, I only use wifi for data ...worth checking their plans...def a plus for teenagers too, no overspending from my teen.Out of all my genius bar appointments, I've probably only had 1 or 2 bad experiences which isn't all that bad, so I really can't complain. So far I'm happy I got a good screen again and I was really happy with the genius since he took my problem with the iPhone seriously since the beginning and tried everything to find a solution. So far I'm happy I got a good screen again and I was really happy with the genius since he took my problem with the iPhone seriously since the beginning and tried everything to find a solution.I tried explaining what was happening to the genius (who was actually quite nice and receptive about the issue even though he and others he called over couldn't see it).Not to say iPhone 5 is a bad phone but I swear the excuses sometimes at the Genius Bar just amazing meHi everyone , I'm here to inform you all that I've solved this problem after battling for hours , I red a lot of post on various forums and tried , changed/removed security/encryption standards , changed DNS , Tried different channels , toggled genius in privacy ... etc but none worked I have a 5 year old netgear wifi router which worked just perfect with ipad , iPhone 4 & 4s but since I got i5 , I've faced serious wifi issues like , average browsing , ultra slow app store download speeds ... for a 10mb app it took more than 15 mins to complete , on 20 MBps broadband line .. After trying every solution out there I tried my friends Belkin and Netgear N series router , and everything worked perfect @ blazing speeds on both belkin & N series, found the difference almost instantly(on all my old devices as well) .I remember I was at the genius bar 3 days in a row for about 3 hours when my old MacBook Pro broke, I felt so bad because it was the same genius bar girl, she was super nice but I was about to go offer her something to eat on me (especially since the repair ended up costing nothing).I suspect that even though some people simply got a bad Genius, many of the posters on this forum with bent iPhones that were denied a replacement phone were turned down due to their awful attitudes. My sad effort of sucking the water out of the headphone socket was in vain :/ I took it to the genius bar and they advised me that water damage is outside of warranty (which I knew but I was trying to wing it).iPhone5s Defective Battery - Genius Bar Rejection Twice, horrible AppleCare Service *Reported all these issues, Apple is now "investigating it" Whatever means, just s slap on the wrist for them*of the folks going to the Genius Bar have a genuine concern and issue, there are a good number who are trying to cheat the system, make unreasonable demands, feel entitled, or are unreasonably obsessive over the slightest thing Personally, I have a lot of sympathy for anyone in customer service who has to deal with people who are rude, arrogant, entitled, idiots, sneaky and more Customer service of any kind is typically a thankless job with little reward I'm not saying all Geniuses are angels themselves, but I tend to believe much of the vitriol directed at them is unjustifiedIt depends on (1) how bad the damage is on the phone and (2) whether your genius is having a bad or good dayI would be scared to apply the infamous eagerly awaited software fix agreed much better to buy online and not have to deal with a so called genius.

You will need a pentalobular screwdriver (the one that was required to open the iPhone 5) and a suction cup (the kind that you stick on windows and mirror)... just follow the couple of steps on iFixIt website: It worked for me... you must not be scared of opening your iPhone, and be careful enough not to break any connection wires under the screen (read the above iFixIt link for more info) Unfortunately, if it's the power button you want to fix, you wont be able to do it my way My power button jiggles a tiny bit, but it's hardly noticeable... when the iphone was opened I noticed there was no way to properly see the button and gain access to itAnd the 5c fits right into an iPhone 5 case, the only thing is the volume button shape which throws off an otherwise perfect fit.Despite having a metal rim and being very solid, it had a wobbly volume key rocker and the fabled 'S Pen' was a cheap & nasty affair. It's perfect for your thumb but it's also perfect for accidental presses when using volume!A rate of up to 2% of new devices shipping with a defect is not uncommon with consumer electronics, and it just seems worse with an Apple device because the immense volume of sales means that a larger number of people will inevitably receive a defective unit. What I found weird about this video the first time I watched it is that he says that his focus was on the center of the phone, but looks like it bends near the volume rockers on the side more.. but he wasn't pushing on the middle; his thumbs were right on the side by the volume rockers and were bending it there, it's not because it's a more vulnerable area, it's because that's where he was bending it.I've received replacement flex cables with defective sleep button in the past, but I think it is possible for the volume buttons to be defective, as well.
battery power
Um, PhoneArena battery testing is awful and they dont even disclose how they run their tests, they are not reliable at all, Anandtech has the best real world life usage testing PhoneArena doesnt even disclose how they do their testign, they dont go at all into details, their testing is not reliable and doesnt match more then half the times with multiple other battery tests done by other websites and also reviews Anandtech is one of the most reliable, reputable non biased websites on the web, their results and testing and analysis is really almost unmatched in the industry Anand does not write any articles or post anymore on Anandtech, he has put others complelty in charge and now works basically full time at Apple, you dont just throw out years of extremely reputable fame and non bias and renown that Anandtech has built over the years with the industry, terrible damage control, its widely known now that PhoneArenas testing is flawed and that they dont even disclose their testing Lol yeah, im sure the iPhone 6 plus only gets one hour more of battery life then the 6, what a joke, nobody takes PhoneArenas testing seriously anyway, their testing is flawed they dont even disclose how they do their test I went from a 6 to a Plus and I get way more then one extra hour of battery life with my Plus What do you expect, it powers a Quad HD screen , the GPU has to push more pixels, the display is bigger and has a bigger drain on the battery, the 28nm Snapdragon 805 is not as power efficient as the 20nm Apple A8, this was pretty obvious just by looking at the specs on paperiOS is indeed very aggressive with suspending inactive applications (provided you don't have them refreshing in the background), but the other aspect that allows the 6 and 6 Plus to do well in real-world battery tests is the insane power efficiency of the 20nm A8.Nothing really I have my wifi and Bluetooth on, but I turned off most the the location services I don't need and left only the ones I need like camera, find my iphone etc, with everything thing on I should get close to 7-9 hours, but to be honest I mostly used it so far for normal usage, no map usage today such as Waze, it drains battery power like mad, I'll post update lasted tomorrow after using Waze to show the difference in battery power.
bar
Broadly speaking, the screen is utterly gorgeous and everything (bar this one thing...) looks great on it.Hopefully 5.5 grey, if I need to wait a couple of months ,I'll do that for bigger screen, had a note 3 an it was perfect bar being on android, so this 5.5 if true is perfect for me.And at least once a day, one of those blissful vacationers leaves their sunnies, their wallet, their credit card or their smart phone on my bar.And you know you ain't going to crap in return like on (Windows Phone or Android) 3. iOS/ICloud/Intergration - Simple , elegant (dock bar blur is annoying, but I can overlook it) customisable to what you want it to be.Out of all my genius bar appointments, I've probably only had 1 or 2 bad experiences which isn't all that bad, so I really can't complain. Not to say iPhone 5 is a bad phone but I swear the excuses sometimes at the Genius Bar just amazing meI got my 6 on launch day and 2 days ago my husband upgraded from his 5s - he got the plus for me and I gave him my regular six The 6 plus has a beautiful big screen but it was not pocketable and is too big to carry and use IMO- I love to bar hop with my husband and attending Niners and Giants games without a purse so it didn't work for me I saw two ladies using their pluses and they looked frustrated trying to stand type and hold the plus however my sister loves hers - even named it the gold finger lol I ended up taking it back and getting him a regular 6.I remember I was at the genius bar 3 days in a row for about 3 hours when my old MacBook Pro broke, I felt so bad because it was the same genius bar girl, she was super nice but I was about to go offer her something to eat on me (especially since the repair ended up costing nothing). At the bar, I pretty much decided not to use my phone, because I was too nervous that some drunk person would decide to pick it up.I keep picturing my phone sitting drunk at the bar in Incheon....Missed his damn flight...doesn't speak the language...lazy bastardMy sad effort of sucking the water out of the headphone socket was in vain :/ I took it to the genius bar and they advised me that water damage is outside of warranty (which I knew but I was trying to wing it).iPhone5s Defective Battery - Genius Bar Rejection Twice, horrible AppleCare Service *Reported all these issues, Apple is now "investigating it" Whatever means, just s slap on the wrist for them*of the folks going to the Genius Bar have a genuine concern and issue, there are a good number who are trying to cheat the system, make unreasonable demands, feel entitled, or are unreasonably obsessive over the slightest thing Personally, I have a lot of sympathy for anyone in customer service who has to deal with people who are rude, arrogant, entitled, idiots, sneaky and more Customer service of any kind is typically a thankless job with little reward I'm not saying all Geniuses are angels themselves, but I tend to believe much of the vitriol directed at them is unjustifiedThe 5/5S design was criticized by some as not moving the bar high enough, so I wonder if Apple will take a more radical approach this time.
device
It would be worth it if Apple optimized iOS 8 and made it fluid and gave it more intuitive features for a larger device.Pretty nice device - let's see if it was worth the wait...Something about the 6 Plus that is just incredible..i just feel like i have the whole world at my finger tips...a big very beautiful into this world, and the way the space gray 6 /6plus in the front looks with the edges sloping off and like the blackness of the front display and just the way it seems to morph into the edges and kind of like consume the whole front of the device is amazing...plus ( no pun intended lmao) i love the battery life, it is absolutely incredibly good and lasts a very long time I like the 6 design better then the 5S/5 design overall.... One thing I do wish though is that i wished they made a darker model then Space Gray (like the dark slate color from the iPhon 5) , that would look even moreamazing imo.. Yeah the 6 plus may be big but it is obnoxiously big beautiful and turns heads and i have caught people just looking at my phone (and when I had a 6 i remember I had seen a few 6 Pluses in the wild in peoples hands and them using it , and me just going to my self "wow that screen does look really nice and beautiful actually") it actually is one of the reasons why i went from the 6 to the 6 Plus because of envy and also the other obvious (battery life, screen size and res, OIS )Went from the 6 to the 6 Plus and am beyond absolutely happy and satisfied and glad that I did, no regrets at all and i am already used to the Plus now...the bigger screen and 1080p panel, the OIS, and espcially the noticeably better battery life of the Plus makes it feel like a big upgrade from past iPhones and a legit upgrade...I am absolutely in love with my Plus, if you dont mind a Note 3 sized phone/phablet , the Plus is the way to go, I promise you wont be let down The thinness and tapered edges makes this device great to hold in hand IMO, and keeps it slim and very tolerable and lighter and skinnier in pocket due to its form factor OIS is the smallest reason to upgrade to the 6 Plus, but OIS most certainly does help in low light and makes the Plus produce better images then the 6, you picked a bad few examples, OIS helps quite a bit in low light On a 6 Plus here, came from a 6 , and have noticed absolutely no difference in performance, both scream and peform blazing fast and give fantastic graphical details in games alongside with superb high frame rate, Vainglory looks and plays beyond amazing on my Plus I agree to this, 6 Plus performs just as blazing fast and stupdenously fast as the 6 I switched from which I had own for over a month and a halfWell then i stand corrected..and glad you were one of the lucky ones who got it back.....i was just going by what a retentions agent told me.....but she also told me that there is 1 spvr in charge of this plan who can also add it back.. Thats a great deal too...and comes close the 20 for 10 for the same price.......but if you dont need a ton of data then a great value is if you can get retentions to match verizons 10 gigs for price of 6 for 80 bucks...cuz you will get the 15 buck device charge with that deal too...and slap a fan discount on in and your payin about 62.50 for the data.......niceThere is no phone at all out there that is 6 inches screen and smaller then the Plus Im sorry to say...and the bezels are not bad at all on the Plus, the black front and curved edges makes the screen really beautiful actually, the bezels are not bad at all, although obviously they could of made it slimmer for a overall smaller device, But the thinness of the Plus and weight makes it the easiest phablet to hold and use after a long period of time, slim fit in the pocket, and noticeably thinner then just about every phablet out thereAs far as the processor, I really don't mind which device has the faster processor, though it'd be nice to have those really great graphics on the Air 2, I really don't care whether my iPhone or iPad has the faster processor. After using my 6 plus for a while, it feels great to have a small, stylish device. This, this website is superb and it helped me find a 6 Plus 64 Gb in stock right at my local Apple store, I got the 4.7 inch 6 on Launch date, and I had it for about a month, I loved it but the Plus was looking so luring and amazing once I got to play with it a few times, I was so sure at first I didnt ever want the Plus, but then I started envying it, and then My brother ended up buying this Plus at Apple and we traded my 4.7 inch i6 with Applecare + on it for a 64 gb 6 plus for me, and I honestly couldnt be anymore satisfied and happy with this, I am beyond happy I got the plus, I love this thing and Im already use to the size, the thinness of the device is truly what makes this phablet actually very tolerable imo and its very slim in the pocket, The bigger screen alongside with the stupendously good battery life alone is beyond worth it and also OIS, All other phones just feel tiny now to me hah, TLDR: switched from a 6 (never thought id get a phablet) to a Plus and i am beyond in love with this thing and i am beyond satisifed and happy i went from the 6 to the 6 PlusIt's a wonderful, beautiful device.IF you get lucky, the blue shirt will go to his/her manager and speak about it... the manager will then come over to you and say, yes we can cancel the 2 year contract and you'll have to wait for your upgrade eligibility to kick back in, which generally takes 5-10 mins... if you cancelled twice, you're SOL as it locks the upgrade and you'll have to call AT&T and they'll have to call some other to have it restored which will take 3-5 business days... to avoid that, if you're on a family plan, I'd suggest you pre-order with another line thats not looking to upgrade right away... that way your upgrade is available right away and theres no waiting around... if you're the only line, I'd suggest you log into your AT&T mobile app and keep refreshing the upgrade eligibility page until you see it kick in... once they cancel the 2 year contract, theres an option for the NEXT or you can purchase the phone "device only" which means you pay for the phone completely, right there... again, I've experienced stores where they will flat out tell you they cant do such a thing, blah blah blah, cancelling will put the phone back into their online pre-order batch, which is BS... you just need to get lucky and have a blue shirt willing to do it for you...So I am very happy now with the 6 plus...having the chance to use the 6 made me appreciate using the 6 plus that much more, however the 6 is still a great phone..great portable device.A parting thought, the Blackberry passport is also a beautiful and well made device worth looking at for the business minded professional.I mean, the Plus is an awesome device and all, and the screen and battery are unparalleled, but I have to tell you, the size becomes a burden if you're happy with using your phone how you are now.Or without returning and waiting it out until they become ubiquitous in stores... And being the most popular device that Apple sells, I know and have experienced quality taking the bench next to just pumping these things out, getting them in every one and their mothers' hands and making those quarterly earnings looks AMAZING, INNOVATIVE, PROMISING.I don't think it's unfair to say that 99% of iPhone users would be happy to wait an extra second if they could have the screen quality of a samsung device.I also purchased a basic phone as a second line.... Later in the day i got a phone call saying my card was declined..called and approved but at that point my order was pushed further in the que... waited and waited and nothing changed... until today and kept checking this forum to see where everyone was at....and after finally waiting for so long i gave up and was LUCKY enough to find a device at a Best Buy Mobile store via: idevicechecker.com I would definetely recommend it..got there wiht no line and got my new SILVER 128 gb plus...and I decided to stay with my carrier.. ATT customer service was worthless...they didn't know what they were talking about and was always getting the run around..ontop of that the LG basic phone I ordered was in stock but they never shipped it to me and its always says backordered.....Since the 3DMARK is doing everything in its power to STRESS the device, and while watching it on my AIR was still impressive (to me) I am starting to become more confident that the PLUS will last well through two years and good enough for my third. When I brought it into the Apple Store I told them it had to be defective when manufactured because that couldn't possibly be the quality Apple designed. The woman working there was nice enough to charge us "only" the $109 they charge right now to replace the screen, even though the whole device had to be replaced. The trip is always worth it to get what you pay for which should be a device you see fit for purpose.I received my 6 on the 19th and although it is a beautiful, amazing device, I found that I was lusting after the Plus which is not normal for someone who just got a new device.Aside from the occasional minor 8.0.2 bugaboo, the device itself is beautiful and flawless, and a pleasure to use.I'm an avid reader and after trying all the iPad's and Kindle's, I think the 6+ is the perfect device for me to read on because it's always with me.So we aren't trying to "fit" the 6+ into our existing workflow (like we did with the 4S->5 transition), we're supposed to adjust our workflow to fit the device (like we did when we first got an iPad, iPod or AppleTV).I agree one size doesn't fit all for screen sizes and I think the 6 is a great device.Wow, seems like Iphone 6 Plus is having a lot of problems...I tried the Note 4 at bestbuy today and it was stunning and a wonderful device on all regards...its great that we have the choice of the two different sizes...grateful for that so now everyone can be "happy"....it's funny to me that we have android people talking smack about iPhone users and now there is the 6plus vs 6 talking smack to each other...at the end of the day you have to choice to get the device that fits your daily life and that's all that matters.Spending seventy pounds to cover a seven hundred pounds device didn't sound too bad too bad to me.So far, things I prefer about the 5.5 On-screen keyboard size The resolution of the display, fit much more on screen and photos look awesome The physical finish of the device, better than the 4.7 Stuff I prefer about the 4.7 More compact Easier one handed use Minor but noticeably better performance. After 1 week of using my 6 Plus, it has been great device and will still be a great device.Great phone hardware wise (screen, camera and battery life) but for me it is just too big a device to use, especially with a case on it.I understand you want your device to be perfect since you dropped $300+ on it and feel like you have the coolest phone on the block but let's not get feelings twisted over an inanimate object.I know that apple tested these phones 15,000 different ways, with sophisticated equipment, and are smart enough to know releasing a device that 'bent in your pocket under normal wear' would be a poor move for them, I just dont think they would do that, and I believe their testing facility is fully capable of recreating whatever circumstances alleged bender victims have hypothesized.I can see having to wear bigger pants if the phone literally doesn't fit, so that is changing your clothes for a device I guess if that's the case and you end up buying the phone, but I don't think it should bend just from being in your pants, assuming you can fit it in there obviously. The Smart Cover for iPads is such a great tool to use to prop up the device on its own so I could set it on my nightstand to watch media without needing to balance it against something. Thanks for sharing Glad you like your 6, it's an awesome device and looks beautiful.doesn't make sense to have that kind of bend on a large device, unless you are wearing a 50inch tight jeans that can fit an iphone6+ horizontally.I agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GBAgain, amazing device, just be sure it'll fit into how you use your phone.Yes the 6+ is a beautiful device and the battery advantages is definitely appealing..Now you know how it feels for all the people that always wanted a bigger screen to be more productive and use it more as a smart device and enjoy all the awesome benefits of a larger screen. To think that a device this much bigger and thinner than what people are used to won't require ANY change in handling is kind of astounding really.I bought my DSLR as a refurb and with this kind of device, it's way better to have refurb than to buy new from a shop, in addition to the great discount.Get Apple care + it's well worth the cost, any time you buy a high end phone or device getting Double the warranty and accidental damage protection is worth it.I got to do a real "test drive" on it, and although it was super impressive & the screen was awesome...I had to face the truth that it just wasn't the device for me, given a choice of the smaller version.I'd also say that, if you're not a heavy tablet user then this is the perfect device....kinda finds a happy medium.I received my 6 Plus yesterday, physically it is the most perfect apple device I have ever opened, no marks of any type at all, very happy with the assembly QC on the outer case.I'm glad some of you already have the new device, lucky you.It is the perfect size (although I do wish they cut down the bezels more and fit a 5" screen in the same size device). The plus is perfect for me as one device for all & will fit in pretty much every purse I own.If however you want the latest and greatest iPhone and your going to keep the device for a couple of years or more then it may be worth adding the extra money and getting a 6, but as I said the 5s is still a very, very capable and good phone.if i switch to some other device, it might save me money, but i would have to go through all the trial & error to find the perfect apps that i need and sometimes the accumulation of all the knowledge about my preferences is worth more than a few hundred dollars.IMO great piece of technical device, I'm glad I'm keeping it..A mentality that this device you have is expensive, precious, gorgeous, and you want to keep it that way.I'm sure it's a great device and the extra screen real estate is awesome.Couple reasons... the rMini has the amazing Smart Cover that allows it to stand on a hotel nightstand, and the rMini's battery is way way longer and its overall screen size is almost double the real estate.. so going to keep using it as my media device :-)Agreed, maybe I'll change my mind once I have one but I've tried the Galaxy Note 3 before and hated how it two-hands was an absolute requirement to function At the moment the Xperia Z3 Compact is my personal favorite device on the horizon based on its compact size for one-handed use, flagship specs (snapdragon 801, 2gb RAM, micro SD, 20mp camera) and great battery size at 2600mAh.3) The device access discounts are nice and worth it.I guarantee you'll be coming back here to these forums gushing about how beautiful the device is and how nice it feels in hand when you get yours. If you have more than 10GBs of data and just have to have the latest and greatest Apple device, then yeah it's worth it.I been dreaming of a iPhone that as thin as a iPod touch, ever since iPod touches came out i would hold them in my hand and be like wow imagine one day a iPhone becomes this thin.. That day is coming now , i know some people dont care about thinness at all and yes the device being ultra ultra thin isnt the biggest thing to a phone, but the i6 is going to be a absolute dam joy to hold in hand, feel in hand, and to just look at.That's not a bad thing though as it's a nice looking deviceI guess this signifies that I am kind of over the whole notion that the device is something precious or neat and its just a utility finally.Google's Nexus 5 is a great little device with the best version of Android, but the battery life is atrocious.Apple is amazing for creating a sophisticated computing device that's so simple even an 80 year old who has never used a computer can pick it up and be comfortable with it in no time.I love my 5s, I cannot imagine using an iPhone without Touch ID now, but the 5c is certainly a great device and a great alternative to the 5s for people who want a different shape, a different feel, and a bit of colour.Seriously, glad you are happy with whatever device you chose, but hey.. since it's an iPhone.. heck yes!To answer OP: 5S is a great device and a worthy upgrade from the 4S.But, that's just me.. and I'm happy just to have such an amazing device. You agree not to misuse the Service or Device, including but not limited to: (a) reselling or rebilling our Service; (b) using the Service or Device to engage in unlawful as a device more keen to wider experiences, as screen real estate allows for more enjoyable movies and games experience, for instance. It's an amazing device and with my 5S, I am just excited about it as I was with that first iPhone back in 2007.It's definitely worth the upgrade, and if you're not interested in a bigger screen, the 5s is a great device with Touch ID (which works great) and is probably the most future-proof iPhone released yet.You deserve perfect cuz you paid for perfect , your not the bad guy cuz you demand your phone work , that's called taking a stand and not letting subpar quality control affect you because it shouldn't affect one of us , we as consumers should stick together on something like this and give each other the knowledge to get the job done , not doubt and call names like children Than why after 3 white box replacements through the mail with the same manager on the case did I get upgraded to a 5s white 16 gig , I'm begging people to not make statements that aren't true , if you suffer through 3 defective iphone 5 they will upgrade you to a 5s because after 3 refurbs they must give you a new device and they don't make new 5 anymore they only have refurb white box , I video tapped all 3 of my white box unboxings right from the signing to the opening and they all had scratched screens or something else and I had the proof , not only did I get upgraded I received a call from Erik from corporate who was stunned with what I went through and sent me a 32 gig iPod touch , just please stop assuming people are trying to commit fraud because we aren't , we are simply here trying to help each other get on the right path to enjoying their devices and if sharing my story and the email address of the managers that helped me gets something done for someone else and helps out one more lost person going through what I did that makes me feel great , we should all recieve perfect devices the first time and that don't happen but we have rights and should use themI'm sorry but Mary realized how much time and effort I put into getting a good phone and I could have switched to android but I stayed the coarse and now I have a new 5s and she gave me a black leather case , then after I emailed Tim cook about the ordeal Erik gustafson calls me and hooks me up with a free 32 gig iPod touch for my daughter , don't let the negative people affect you , there are good people at apple and I gave you there names and emails and you should be treated like gold now , I hope all works out buddy have a happy new year and after 7 replacements I would demand a new device and then you will get upgraded don't be afraid to ask because you have rightsYour speeds are horrible, but with a LTE capable device speeds are respectable.I'll take my college degree, great job, and my great cell phone service and you can call me low end all day long, but at the end of the day (and my contract) I will have paid less for the same device you have. That said, I've loved my iP5 - LTE, the beautiful screen/color accuracy and speed of the device are wonderful.1gb of RAM in this year on a device that is this high priced is horrible, especially when the Air 2 got 2gb of RAM and the amount of apps and tabs held in the background are far more than this paltry 1gb horribleness. And my posts usually attack the iphone and apple when it comes to ram because this amount of greedy pathetic gimping of a device is disgusting and I make no attempt to disguise how much I hate this decision.watch out for "iPhone for life" if you terminate your agreement you must pay ALL future device payments and then you have to either hand them your phone or you have to take their purchase option so for example if i lease an iPhone 6 64 gb for $25 a month and i have 21 months left, i have to surrender my iPhone PLUS pay them $525 i guess the purchase option would be another $224 i am sick of people calling this deal a rental going around and making sure all the various news sites telling you how bad the iPhone 4 life program is almost as futile of trying to destroy every last copy of Star Wars the Holiday Special if i pay the future device payments plus take the purchase option, i bet i still won't get an unlockEither your device is defective or something, mine truly does run buttery smooth with Reduce Transparency on And alot of people also report they too have buttery smooth 6 pluses, stop trying to grasp at straws and claim that since one person on a forums on the internet has the issue, then all the sudden everyone has it because that is beyond from the truth Every phone has downsides, but the 6 Plus is currently the fastest phablet and smartphone really on the marke at this moment with the 6, the Snapdragon 805 is inferior to the Apple A8My 6 Plus has been absolutely amazing and I have absolutely no lag or stutter at all on my 6 Plus, your 6 Plus seems to be defective, Sounds like you might not even have a 6 Plus, why would you spend all that money when a ton of your "problems" is something you could of always seen in person hands on with the device or so (surely you tried the device out before forking over money) And Siri has been working for me 90% of the time and is light years better then what it has been, that seems to be a connection issue on your part with Siri having a response like thatyeah but that lag in your video is very serious and clearly seems to be something mechanically defective in your device if that is common, I came from a 6 to a 6 plus and the 6 plus is just as buttery smooth fast as the 6 that i came from, with no lag or stutters for me ever I also have TLC nand memory, which is suppose to be the worse NAND that causes some people issues but i myself have had no issues at all with it Try a hard reset (home and lock button until screen turns off completely) and also try turning on Reduce transparency in accessbility in general in settingsyeah but that lag in As bizarre as it may sound, it appears that some people may have been ashamed of the capacity of their deviceFor some reason I always think its really sad when I see such a beautifully designed device that is as large as a tablet/phablet but only 16GB...your going to be constantly clearing room....do yourself a favor because in the long run it will help and you might regret it far after the 14 or 30 days you get it...so many people I know regret getting the 16GB model....I feel almost bad!Weird, how the CEO uses a inferior device with a case on it.I seriously think Apple just posts fake stock for bots to try and buy like someone else said.. Because I was waiting for that and I even checked the stock on another device on apple's website a second before I pressed buy and it said available and then after I tried and got the error it immediately switched to unavailable... Like they just post one to trick bots into trying to buy it quickly for someone and it automatically fails on purpose and the stock is gone.. Apple please stop fake stocking your storesAnd since it's a rather expensive device, their angry opinions damn well better be heard.Well right, I agree the 6+ is the inferior device for bending too, but that means absolutely NOTHING with regards to whether the bending issue is any worse than any other phone on the market (besides the 6 of course, but even that is arguable based on testing).I really wanted one for my personal device, but I do way too much one handed work I was afraid I would get too frustrated. This happens every time a new device comes out and the same dishonest people will always be dishonest.Needless to say each time I attempted to use an Android device I found it frustrating and sloppy compared to iOS and always went back.I was afraid I would drop it, due to not being used to moving around with a bigger device.I was a bit frustrated so maybe the title of the thread could have been better but its truly amazing to me how most people on this forum get so ******** over mentioning a competitor device.A rate of up to 2% of new devices shipping with a defect is not uncommon with consumer electronics, and it just seems worse with an Apple device because the immense volume of sales means that a larger number of people will inevitably receive a defective unit.Just because someone points out flaws in a device doesn't make them jealous lol... by your logic, Apple fanboys are all jealous of Samsung's plastic phones.Like the argument that Apple is evil and the workers in china all die etc.. Those ppl did obviously not understand that the lithium for every houshold device is harvested from poor african childs in lithium mines and most of them die or get serious lung problems but thats ok, because the real evil are the apple factories which means foxconn and those factories actually produce for alot of companies, not only apple. This one doesn't have a fault either......it's just pathetic Internet trolling that a very very few minority of people have suffered, in which most of them will have suffered due to misuse......it's as simple as that......and if you haven't bought one yet, then simply don't buy one if you're that worried......I have bought one, I'm treating it like the respect it deserves for being such an expensive device......if you can't handle such a big phone in your lifestyle, don't buy it, simple as that......I guarantee they will still sell more phones than anyone else this year, and I know it's not about sales, it's about customer satisfaction......and as i said, a few moaning idiots on here doesn't show the majority vote here......people who have no issues will not bother coming here, they will simply be enjoying their device and getting on with their lives.....something I wish all the moaners would do instead of just crying about issues that don't exist if you treat things properly. My mom couldn't fit the Plus in a lot of her pants and my dad's hand got tired using the device. Then it shouldn't be new to you either that sitting with a cell phone in a tight pants pocket can subject your expensive device to undue stresses at best, and damage at worst.+ is an appealing device, however I personally feel it looks a bit obnoxious when up against my head on a call. Please be honest not just excited about your new device.Indeed, no device is perfect and I'm extremely wary of jumping from the frying pan into the fire so to speak.I figured something was up, so I did a mock edge upgrade, only to find my account locked for upgrading because my MEID didn't match the one on my agreement (my device had been replaced with Asurion and they gave me this awful S4 instead of a Moto X, unless I wanted to wait a month to get a functioning phone). The screen size might be amazing to use but when you have to carry the device in jeans/trouser pockets and often find yourself needing to use it one handed on public transport, it is totally impractical for some people.Trying to ascribe bad motives to whoever had the device blacklisted is just sick, and it's wrong, and it's a pathetic whiny excuse to avoid doing the right thing and turning it in to the police.Especially, since every Android device I've ever used has felt awkward and clumsy by comparison. They replaced a defective device with a defective device. What's ironic is that, because of the original iPhone with no 3G, AT&T had to spend months backfitting their system for a higher speed EDGE so the new Apple device wouldn't look pitiful running at 59 Kbps.If the phablet hasn't developed into a great device by the launch for iPhone 6, I don't think they will jeopardize the iPhone 6 hype by releasing a mediocre phablet. To me its not worth it cause its nice to pay $199 or $150 for a new device instead of $650.Always ask the buyer to bring a SIM so that both parties can verify the device fully functioning [Note: Scammers usually don't sit to inspect the device nor bring SIM cards to test devices] Additional Notes: - eBay buyers can open a dispute against the seller up to 30days after the purchase and correct me If I'm wrong, Paypal direct sales can be disputed against up to 45days === DO NOT SELL YOUR iDEVICES DIRECTLY VIA PAYPAL, NO MATTER HOW NICE OR CONVINCING THE BUYER MAY BE, YOUR PROTECTION LEVEL IS LOWER vs having eBay on board.Old device worst case: (0 + 20mg) and (1g - 20mg) New device worst case (0 + 95mg) and (1g - 95mg) Old worst case inclination: atan(20/980) = 1.16 degrees New worst case inclination: atan(95/905) = 5.99 degrees So I think we've found our culprit.Yes, I'm absolutely concerned about these things... but for the purposes of this thread, I for one am more gobsmacked that of all of these other things that the OP should be worried about, he instead has chosen to fixate on a rather absurd one: he wants to disable the fingerprint reader on a device which can be used to collect insidious data, and buying said device - the option which is most effective - is an option he finds acceptable. That looks stunning The only thing I don't like is the home button put on the frame, thats so android like and I never liked it on my friends device but the rest looks great & I also like the light up Apple Logo but that would be replaced by the home button again, maybe the lil square lines of that button could light up when I get a notification, I would welcome it...otherwise it depresses me that we all have so many wonderful ideas but we all know that Apple will never implement them into the final productThere could very well be bad publicity for Apple, they will be releasing a product which is somewhat defective right when you turn it on..... Sure Apple has alot of people who will still buy the device regardless of how many probs the thing has, but then you have people who will come after Apple just like they would any other company who releases a broken product and does nothing to fix it.

days
I got a 6+ two days ago, it has a very nice even cool display just a gorgeous screen ,compared to my brother's which has a yellowish warm display.I spent a few days last week watching craigslist last week and bought a sealed iPhone 6 Plus 64GB Gray last Friday for $725.00 - Activated, went to Apple store grabbed a leather case and an extra lighting cable for use with an old iPad charger for use as my travel charger (Supposedly it charges faster with the bigger iPad charger) Anyway, if you're tired of waiting or don't want to be stuck in a contract paying way over full price for a phone, this is a great alternative.IF you get lucky, the blue shirt will go to his/her manager and speak about it... the manager will then come over to you and say, yes we can cancel the 2 year contract and you'll have to wait for your upgrade eligibility to kick back in, which generally takes 5-10 mins... if you cancelled twice, you're SOL as it locks the upgrade and you'll have to call AT&T and they'll have to call some other to have it restored which will take 3-5 business days... to avoid that, if you're on a family plan, I'd suggest you pre-order with another line thats not looking to upgrade right away... that way your upgrade is available right away and theres no waiting around... if you're the only line, I'd suggest you log into your AT&T mobile app and keep refreshing the upgrade eligibility page until you see it kick in... once they cancel the 2 year contract, theres an option for the NEXT or you can purchase the phone "device only" which means you pay for the phone completely, right there... again, I've experienced stores where they will flat out tell you they cant do such a thing, blah blah blah, cancelling will put the phone back into their online pre-order batch, which is BS... you just need to get lucky and have a blue shirt willing to do it for you...I'm now very very happy with my 2nd replacement unit which is doing absolutely fine and shows no signs of any bending after 2 1/2 weeks (with the exact same kind of usage that the former iPhone bent under after just 2 days).I agree those plus battery screenshots do make me a bit jealous but I can't drain the 6 before I have gone to bed, so sure 2 days would be sweet but as long as I dont have to charge in a 24 hour day I am happySo, i can 100% assure you that even tho, istocknow is a GREAT tool to find iphones in this days, There are two complete different stocks for both kind of customers, the ones buying iphones online, and the ones that prefers to walk into the Apple Store.Feels great, battery can go for 2 days, takes great pictures, and the screen is awesome.I used my iphone 6 for 12 days before i returned it and went for a 6plus now here are the differences:- iPhone 6 Pros One handed use light and pocketable Cons to be honest except for the design there wasnt any difference btw 5s and 6.. battery life was almost the same n so was the display iPhone 6 plus my experience:- as i have used LG g3 and Note 3 going for a phablet wasnt a big deal for me..but to be honest this thing is big and not that much easy to carry around in your pockets but two things made me just fall in love with this beauty 1st its bigger and FULL HD display [on iphone 6 i can easily see jaggered lines on the text n Fonts but here on iphone 6 plus everything is smooth n crystal clear] second man o man the battery life is awesome and superb.. to be honest iPhone 6 plus is the real upgrade for this generation while 6 is jus OKFunny enough, I had a space grey 6 plus on launch day........kept it for 4 days then returned it, loved it but found it to cumbersome when outside......used a friends 6 for a day........ Decided to order the 6 plus again! If you travel and much as I do (internationally 300 days a year) then moving through airports etc with bags in tow, catching up on work emails etc, one handed use is a must.. Having said that I now have a 6plus as a big screen is also great when working like this.So I got my 2 year contract phone delivered, and waited a few days til the launch dust settled, then went into an Apple store, staked out a friendly, smart looking employee and said I wanted to return my phone, then have them sell it right back to me on the Next plan.I remember 3 days ago I was happy, excited.I posted my pics/video because I'm pissed that this beautiful, amazing phone bent in the pocket of my shorts in three days with nothing extraordinary going on.I am really not angry at anyone...the simple fact that millions of phones can be shipped from the other side of the world in a matter of days is amazing in and of itself.Perfect size to be honest for me now after having the phone 3 days now.8 planes landed this morning to last night....people will get phones with the next 3 days..yet they are impatient...... i got tracking yesterday, and never wavered on cancelling...if they said phones were preordered on 12th and wouldn't ship to next week we wouldn't have any problem waiting, BUT bc others have gotten theres people are flipping out...... Note- i don't have mine yet either, ...i finally got shipping yesterday...i was frustrated too, but i understood, in due time it will work out....Pre-ordered 6+ 64GB SG @ 1.46am CDT on 9/12 Estimated delivery 10/2 - 10/13 My AT&T site reads 'pending shipment' Cancel button on premier site reappeared 3-4 days ago No sign of any shipment or tracking number Happy for others seeing some progress ... just wish I could see some kind of update! What I really find amazing is, aside from AT&T blowing us off and telling us we're liars when we bring this to their attention, you can actually google articles that websites are writing about AT&T and how they started shipping the 6 Plus early with delivery dates set for today: So I guess those people were lying too in addition to everyone here lucky enough to be able to post screenshots the last few days with positive reports. You are better off going directly with Verizon to avoid things of that nature (unless you are truly getting some sort of an amazing deal from the reseller that would make the extra conditions they have worthwhile for you, or if you perhaps don't care about those conditions if you were let's say planning to keep the phone on the line for a few years anyway and more than 180 days).6 plus to big esp if you gym it which i do 3 times a week then run 3 days a week on off days as one member said, number two can barely fit in my pocket and just big overall 4.7 seems perfect.i thought the htc one m8 i had was big but jesus christI'm feeling very content and grateful (and excited) considering I accidentally fell back asleep when I was supposed to be getting ready for the pre-order but luckily woke up 3 hours later and got lucky enough to get 7-10 days on the 6+ 64GB with T-Mobile.There are people who will wait on line for 10 days to get tickets to a music festival or fly cross-country to attend a road football game, not sure what's so shocking about a tech fan wanting the latest and greatest shipped to his home as soon as possible.I have heard that Verizon Stores are not that bad on iPhone launch days but I anticipate this one being kind of crazier than the last few years.Apple Maps was flawless in Sicily, we drove for several days, got it right each time and we were utterly amazed that even tiny dirt roads that maybe three people a day drive were accurately represented. The cable worked 4 days so I bought a cheap cable (It wasn't actually cheap. The guy at verizon a few days ago said that during week days I probably don't need an appointment...so I just walked in and the nice apple guy helped me out by checking me in and within 10 minutes another great guy came over to help me!That was extremely handy at the time because I was using a 1995 Performa 6116 to log on to the internet & it was so brutally slow it took like three days for MaBell & similar sites to load, so I was glad to be able to pay all bills straight from PP's site. However, 60 days later I picked up the 5S because it just seemed like more of a powerhouse and, to be honest, the thumbprint unlock (which I was totally against at first) has become my favorite upgrade item.Keep you inform about any drift during next days ..... Nice Name: iPhone 5s Family name: Group1: iPhone Group2: Generation: CPU speed: 1.3GHz Screen size: 4 inch Screen resolution: 1136x640 pixels Colour: Space Gray Production year: 2013 Production week: 35 (September) Model introduced: 2013 Capacity: 64GB Memory - flavour: xx Factory: DN (China, Chengdu - Foxconn) Nice Name: iPhone 5s Family name: Group1: iPhone Group2: Generation: CPU speed: 1.3GHz Screen size: 4 inch Screen resolution: 1136x640 pixels Colour: Space Gray Production year: 2013 Production week: 38 (September) Model introduced: 2013 Capacity: 64GB Memory - flavour: xx Factory: C3 (China)i am 6'5 and i too have tried the samsung note 2 with the bigger screen and for the first couple of days it was weird but after that i was use to the size and feel i do agree that would be ideal for them to release 2 differnt size screens but i do not think i would want a screen size as big as the note as it makes it very uncomfortable in the pants- running IOS 6 - really great battery life, more than a days worth.LTE in Chicago, IL near Downtown on this plan :-) I have done half a dozen speed tests, over 500 emails this month, messaging, google maps GPS navigation on probably 200-300miles worth, few hours of pandora streaming and I've used 1.2GB of data this month....still got 8 more days and 800MB remaining, this plan is great! It's hilarious how Sprint and TMo users are constantly banging on about their great HSPA/EVDO speeds and are in complete denial that LTE exists these days.I got my 6 on launch day and 2 days ago my husband upgraded from his 5s - he got the plus for me and I gave him my regular six The 6 plus has a beautiful big screen but it was not pocketable and is too big to carry and use IMO- I love to bar hop with my husband and attending Niners and Giants games without a purse so it didn't work for me I saw two ladies using their pluses and they looked frustrated trying to stand type and hold the plus however my sister loves hers - even named it the gold finger lol I ended up taking it back and getting him a regular 6.It is a great phone but after a couple of days I could not use it anymore because of a strange reason: pain in my eyes after max. This is obvious that no smart phone is worth for 3 days (even 2) with one full charge.64GB SG & 64GB GOLD ordered in store 9/22 Shipping window 10/30-11/10 GOLD shipped 11/11 out of Fort Worth no emails received from AT&T only one order traceable online (although both shown) online chat didn't work on Safari phone call at 3pm 11/11 rep says gold shipped SG pending GOLD shipped at 3:45 pm phone call to at&t was only way i can find status of SG phone they said a shipment of SG iPhones is expected from China in 2-3 days that the AT&T website is not perfect is not excusable considering their pocket books BE PATIENT FRIENDS - yours, too, will come no need to get yourselves upset or use unkind language towards hapless dronesFor some reason I always think its really sad when I see such a beautifully designed device that is as large as a tablet/phablet but only 16GB...your going to be constantly clearing room....do yourself a favor because in the long run it will help and you might regret it far after the 14 or 30 days you get it...so many people I know regret getting the 16GB model....I feel almost bad!I remember I was at the genius bar 3 days in a row for about 3 hours when my old MacBook Pro broke, I felt so bad because it was the same genius bar girl, she was super nice but I was about to go offer her something to eat on me (especially since the repair ended up costing nothing).I simply asked a question and now I'm getting **** on for doing so for one I'm not a troll and my canadian sense of humor is just fine, this is the worst forum I've ever been on just awful mean ppl on here now a days!!!!!Damn ATT even went cheap with my delivery they used UPS ground 3-5 days.If after you have tried A. wipe and restore B. wipe and set up as a new iPhone C. LOADED very little apps (after you did B) for a few days to make sure one of your favorite apps is not causing the issue (due to it not being happy with the OS or the developer screwed up, they are human).I was told to setup as new, which I've already tried Interesting thing though - he said that these apps are having problems, so I am going to try a fresh restore again, downloading the firmware again as well, as he seems to think it is corrupt (the firmware): backboardd, com.apple.WebKit, SpringBoard From my jailbreaking days, I know that backboardd is an integral daemon that runs along side springboard, which is also corrupt, per the tech Will restore as new tonight and report back tomorrow afternoon Let us know what they say!If you take into account that there are some fake answers on one end; also take into account that there are fake answers on the other side - Second, I don't think the problem is "the phone will bend in your pocket in your first couple of days of use", but "the phone will eventually bend in your pocket".After 4 days of waiting for Apple to activate it (see my other thread, 'AT&T can't verify my identity'), my luck keeps getting worse & worse.I'm afraid of it getting worse after my 14 days. Those complaining about horrible battery life need to wait a couple days, especially if you see the message that its still restoring Those claiming the have super duper awesome battery life are either not using their phone or are FOS.The bad thing is I've been sick for a couple days and have been napping on my couch, but since I can see the road and parking areas right in front of my living room windows, every time I start to doze I hear something and am gawking out the window thus thoroughly destroying my nap, which is making me feel worse from my sickies. This goes to about 50% of all the crap ive read on here the last few days.....pretty pathetic grown adults come in here to try to make other people feel crappy about a dumb phone purchase decision. She did confirm that reps were sent an email stating they cannot offer expedited shipping on the phone so those of you who got it are lucky but I would not want to risk my order getting canceled just to expedite shipping from China which we all know it takes a few days anyways So while I wasn't happy having to wait October 1-6 because I've always got my orders through and received them on launch day this, is not a dealbreaker for me that I have to wait, it just makes the anticipation far more greater to receive my new phone.I tried my luck and waited for 45 minutes the agent i got was pretty cool but he told there was nothing he can do about it and that all orders are getting expedited, i don't know if its true but he told me that he have received a lot of calls about from people with shipping dates November + including himself; anyway if i can get 6 plus locally at a fair price i might bite and cancel the pre-order, the sad part is my first order got cancel with a "nice" 7-10 days shipping but my new one is 3-4 weeks lol.RAM is very cheap these days, so just cost is not a great reason. Most stores here in Canada have bad customer service these days or horrible pre sale assistance. If I did the next program it would be 35/month, yeah that 10 bucks is worth the convenience of not having to go through what can be an incredibly annoying crapshoot of selling a cell phone these days.I asked Siri to open safari a few days ago and it asked me if u want to search the web for something inappropriate even though I just said "Siri, can you please open Safari" I was a bit offended by that...Siri is really annoying and never understandsWeird problem that just developed a few days ago with no conceivable trigger.I have a family member wanting a 5c/s and I have seen a few on craigslist the past couple days for $300-325 and I am assuming they have a bad esn, I remember reading that the iphone 5 on verizon would work on att/tmobile but wasnt sure if it would if it had a bad esn for Verizonand if they approve they can do swap, so hopefully they can help... Again, I know i had 14 days but it didn't affect me at the time bad enough, its go ten worse over time and yes I know it sounds so silly cause if you don't experience it you have no real understanding and trolls these days do kinda ruin it for legit problemsIt is no different during those good old days just few years ago before Apple revolutionized the industry when majority of the Americans were contented with their ugly dumb flip-phones.
problems
I have a 128gb iPhone 6+ ..no problems all the rumors(gates) floating around the internet are all BS ..my iphone hasn't bent ..my 128gb tlc hasnt died ..my screen is perfect ..I get better service than on the Note 3 bottom line is ..unless apple acknowledges the problem or someone posts substantive empirical evidence that has been repeated with the same results by another party ...then its a fake rumor you need not trouble yourself withOne of the biggest problems in the U.S. criminal justice system is that we don't employ these kinds of punishments ; Americans are way too eager to see everyone do some time thinking that it has some kind of magical rehabilitative effect on criminals, which we know is not true.Wow, seems like Iphone 6 Plus is having a lot of problems...I tried the Note 4 at bestbuy today and it was stunning and a wonderful device on all regards...would not trade it for another love the larger screen for these retired old eyes no "pocket problems" better Nav screen for the car great for videos great for surfing websites overall just a great improvement.... and I think it's interesting reading the posts that seem to think "everyone will see you have a large phone" hogwash - nobody so far has even noticed it - in the real world (outside forums) no one seems to give a damn what phone I have...LOLRefreshing causes a great deal of problems on the sites I frequent.Someone who looks nervous and uncertain will seem less likely to cause problems than someone who looks strong and confident.Mine doesn't rattle, neither it restarts by itself, the touch id works perfectly every single time , I have no problems with signal or wifi and the battery last all day using it heavily; I wanted to change my 5s 16g for a 32g but now I'm honestly scared to see all the problems other people have with their phone, I think I got lucky, and now I won't change it.But, it never gets that delicious kind of information due to the sensor problems.20 nm 64 bit apple A8> 28nm Snapdragon 805 Cameras are both top notch and cream of the crop , no real , clear winner there Touch ID is king fingerprint scanner sensor and the Note 4 swipe with your thumb BS is not as good note 4 has the best OLED display ever while the 6 Plus has the best LCD smartphone display ever, both are top notch, 6 has a little less resolution but still good Funny thing is that 6 and 6 Plus uses actually newer technology and more cutting edge hardware, a SoC on a 20nm manufacturing node custom designed by Apple In house own ISP now too Both are great devices though but people who say it uses "2012 technology" and "lol wow only 1.4 ghz dual core my Galaxy S3 is faster with 1.5 ghz dual core" just have no understanding at all on all this Fanboys gonna be fanboys , but the 6 Plus and 6 are actually one of the best if not the best peforming smartphone right now on both the CPU/GPU side Totally wrong , 6 and 6 Plus completly utterly destroys anything from 2012, the SoC (which houses the CPU/GPU/ISP/RAM) basically everything, is quite different and not similiar to tech specs back then ARMv8 custom design is drastically different then what has been used in the past What people dont understand at all is that you want faster better single core performance and better IPC always, espcially on mobile devices, this is beyond crucial and key for mobile developing (for obvious reasons; these devices using batteries and thermal constraints etc etc) Same thing with why a Intel quad core is noticeably faster then a AMD quad core thats clocked alot higher speeds then the Intel quad core Its because Intels single core performance and architecture design is SUPERIOR, very little people understand what even makes a CPU design, single core performance and IPC is beyond important and crucial and key for mobile , why would someone want to deal with more weaker single cores and code for all them and try to get parrlellization and efficiency on all cores properly when it is a headache already developing software and games for a bunch of cores on desktop(and multicore processors started coming out 8 years ago) Throwing more cores at it does not increase performance for situations and problems automatically linearly 6 way wide superscaler 1.4 ghz Enhanced cyclone cores on ARM's latest architecture design (ARMv8 or 64 bit) OP I suggest you look up on the A7/A8 details , it is more comparable to Intel Haswell processors then it is to what Qualcomm offers actually in terms of performanceMy 6 Plus has been absolutely amazing and I have absolutely no lag or stutter at all on my 6 Plus, your 6 Plus seems to be defective, Sounds like you might not even have a 6 Plus, why would you spend all that money when a ton of your "problems" is something you could of always seen in person hands on with the device or so (surely you tried the device out before forking over money) And Siri has been working for me 90% of the time and is light years better then what it has been, that seems to be a connection issue on your part with Siri having a response like thatCars have some weird problems with stereo's....my dads car is horrible, if I plug my phone into the charger in his car his radio just goes out (well loud static constant), its pretty bad lol.As a whole, when you add up all OEM's that use Android and all their issues combined, it is drastically worse then Apple's issues combined(2014 Moto G having terrible memory issue problems that Motorola isn't acknowledging, and so much more)I think i may just be paranoid.. doesn't seem like annoying else is experiencing the same problems under careful usage.iP6 not moving on swappa either Awesome or as CNotes would say If you are doing ship to home, some people on SDs thread are still reporting activation problems.Like the argument that Apple is evil and the workers in china all die etc.. Those ppl did obviously not understand that the lithium for every houshold device is harvested from poor african childs in lithium mines and most of them die or get serious lung problems but thats ok, because the real evil are the apple factories which means foxconn and those factories actually produce for alot of companies, not only apple.I am lucky enough not to have any problems where I live but heard of other cities can be bad.I was told to setup as new, which I've already tried Interesting thing though - he said that these apps are having problems, so I am going to try a fresh restore again, downloading the firmware again as well, as he seems to think it is corrupt (the firmware): backboardd, com.apple.WebKit, SpringBoard From my jailbreaking days, I know that backboardd is an integral daemon that runs along side springboard, which is also corrupt, per the tech Will restore as new tonight and report back tomorrow afternoon Let us know what they say!Horrible build quality...the chrome bezel painting is wearing off, the battery cover scratches so damn easily and the screen gets ********s of fingerprints despite having an oleophobic coating... Now on the software side, things are even more ******... During my first 3 months of usage I had no problems with this phone, everything was fast and smooth. After two years of sheer complacency, this launch will sure to be fraught with lots of problems and angry buyers. No one was perfect, either connection problems or unstable connection / bad speed etc.No problem brother , like I said we pay crazy prices for these devices and honestly if people just settled for less than perfect because they were afraid to be anal retentive than how would company's like apple even know these problems exist , they have to be held to the same standards we are and if I gave less than 100% at work I would be fired or less than 100% at home something could happen to my family and I'm not about to let that happen .and if they approve they can do swap, so hopefully they can help... Again, I know i had 14 days but it didn't affect me at the time bad enough, its go ten worse over time and yes I know it sounds so silly cause if you don't experience it you have no real understanding and trolls these days do kinda ruin it for legit problems
side
Battery life, camera, and the biggest/best screen this side of the Galaxy Note 4 (great for GPS and games) are also some really nice things to have. That was the reason (as we all know In this factory by the sea) That the sidewalk so dark and hard Shattered and killed my iPhone 33 But his service was faster by far than the service Of phones who were older than he Of many far slower than he And neither the angels in factories above Nor the sidewalks down under the sea Can ever dissever my soul from the soul Of the beautiful iPhone 33 For my phone never rings without bringing me dreams Of the beautiful iPhone 33 And so all the night-tide I lie down by the side Of my darling-my darling I weep and I cry In the factory there by the sea On the sidewalk down by the seaon a side note, its nice to see a "friendly" thread on here for once!Having demo'ed both side by side, I felt the 6 was a great size and a perfect in-between point between the 5 and the 6+.- dead pixel - backlight bleed - uniformity (one side darker, yellower) - smudge / smear inside glass - dust inside screen - dust or dirt inside glass (outside of screen area) - recessed / uneven volume button (on one but not another) - sticky vibration button (normal ones have a nice firm click) - uneven pressure / sticky / unbalance on sleep wake button (normal ones have a nice click to it) - uneven home button pressure (perfect ones have a nice click to it, but this is personal preference) - uneven gap when assembled (run your finger on the edge on each side and compare for your 6/6+) - dust inside camera lens - general cosmetic scratches / chips / dings (Apple logo, aluminum, buttons, sim slot) And this list hasn't even covered technical issues like wifi, Bluetooth, Touch ID, vibration rattle, etc. This site is driving me crazy I can't keep coming here and obsessing on WHEN WILL I GET MY PHONE I'm not getting a damn thing done On the bright side I do have a fancy new iPhone 6 Plus CASE I can carry around and fantasize about what it might be like to carry around a real phone Maybe I should just go get a big 'ol magnifying glass to make my 5s look bigger in the mean time Oh and my wife - she thinks we all are crazy tracking every baby step our phones are taking from conception to delivery out the birth canal We are by the way .On one side it's okay but both sides would be annoying hence fitting it off center.I am really not angry at anyone...the simple fact that millions of phones can be shipped from the other side of the world in a matter of days is amazing in and of itself.I agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GBA nice side scolding shooter like resogun would be awesome. This is the tacky Gold Phone that we worried Apple would make But this is the classy and desirable iPhone 5s that Apple surprised us with And this is the tacky Gold Phone that we worried Apple would make I'm not on the side saying it's horrible and if I ended up with one then I'd be fine. Also, they're the kind of stores that are small and are all side by side located in an unpleasant and not so popular district.I had hoped they would reduce the Home button or put it on the side, and have a great screen with a great form factor. To me it kind of just seems like people on both sides like to puff out their chest and talk about how much greener the grass is on the their side, whereas I like to take a step back approach and know that whichever side I'm on I can find great apps for what I need to do.On a side note, it's not really cheap to make phone calls in Japan (especially between different carriers), but data is cheap. That way, when you put it down, all of the holes on the side should align and have a perfect fit. That's the down side... but since I can't pull the apps out once they are in, I'm kind of glad there is a way to get the apps out.20 nm 64 bit apple A8> 28nm Snapdragon 805 Cameras are both top notch and cream of the crop , no real , clear winner there Touch ID is king fingerprint scanner sensor and the Note 4 swipe with your thumb BS is not as good note 4 has the best OLED display ever while the 6 Plus has the best LCD smartphone display ever, both are top notch, 6 has a little less resolution but still good Funny thing is that 6 and 6 Plus uses actually newer technology and more cutting edge hardware, a SoC on a 20nm manufacturing node custom designed by Apple In house own ISP now too Both are great devices though but people who say it uses "2012 technology" and "lol wow only 1.4 ghz dual core my Galaxy S3 is faster with 1.5 ghz dual core" just have no understanding at all on all this Fanboys gonna be fanboys , but the 6 Plus and 6 are actually one of the best if not the best peforming smartphone right now on both the CPU/GPU side Totally wrong , 6 and 6 Plus completly utterly destroys anything from 2012, the SoC (which houses the CPU/GPU/ISP/RAM) basically everything, is quite different and not similiar to tech specs back then ARMv8 custom design is drastically different then what has been used in the past What people dont understand at all is that you want faster better single core performance and better IPC always, espcially on mobile devices, this is beyond crucial and key for mobile developing (for obvious reasons; these devices using batteries and thermal constraints etc etc) Same thing with why a Intel quad core is noticeably faster then a AMD quad core thats clocked alot higher speeds then the Intel quad core Its because Intels single core performance and architecture design is SUPERIOR, very little people understand what even makes a CPU design, single core performance and IPC is beyond important and crucial and key for mobile , why would someone want to deal with more weaker single cores and code for all them and try to get parrlellization and efficiency on all cores properly when it is a headache already developing software and games for a bunch of cores on desktop(and multicore processors started coming out 8 years ago) Throwing more cores at it does not increase performance for situations and problems automatically linearly 6 way wide superscaler 1.4 ghz Enhanced cyclone cores on ARM's latest architecture design (ARMv8 or 64 bit) OP I suggest you look up on the A7/A8 details , it is more comparable to Intel Haswell processors then it is to what Qualcomm offers actually in terms of performanceI kept my 4s naked for the full 2 years I owned it, I upgraded to a 5s and was planning on keeping it naked until I dropped it on a tennis court and scratched the side, I immediately became paranoid and went out and bought the Apple leather case, Im very happy because believe it or not the case saved my phone after being ran over by a pickup truck!I guess I'm just batting around the idea of doing this and one side of me wants to do it immediately but the other side of me thinks it's not worth any kind of risk.Reminds me of the phrase: All of which is irrelevant to Apple Pay; unless you go live off grid on the back side of lonely mountain, banks and government are involved in your life.Your false bravado and incredulity are boring, and though it's hilarious that you're willing to declare the love you have for your 6 Plus out of one side of your mouth while out of the other judging people for buying devices made through what you deem child abuse and near-slave labor, falling back on tired "FOX News" insults just proves that you're a dime store talking head and not worth the time.Quite the contrary: it's by its very nature a shady business, and will bring out the shady side of everyone they encounter. What I found weird about this video the first time I watched it is that he says that his focus was on the center of the phone, but looks like it bends near the volume rockers on the side more.. but he wasn't pushing on the middle; his thumbs were right on the side by the volume rockers and were bending it there, it's not because it's a more vulnerable area, it's because that's where he was bending it.I was told to setup as new, which I've already tried Interesting thing though - he said that these apps are having problems, so I am going to try a fresh restore again, downloading the firmware again as well, as he seems to think it is corrupt (the firmware): backboardd, com.apple.WebKit, SpringBoard From my jailbreaking days, I know that backboardd is an integral daemon that runs along side springboard, which is also corrupt, per the tech Will restore as new tonight and report back tomorrow afternoon Let us know what they say!If you take into account that there are some fake answers on one end; also take into account that there are fake answers on the other side - Second, I don't think the problem is "the phone will bend in your pocket in your first couple of days of use", but "the phone will eventually bend in your pocket".Horrible build quality...the chrome bezel painting is wearing off, the battery cover scratches so damn easily and the screen gets ********s of fingerprints despite having an oleophobic coating... Now on the software side, things are even more ******... During my first 3 months of usage I had no problems with this phone, everything was fast and smooth.Impatient side of me is tired of hitting Cmd + R on my order status page.Seems strange -- imagine the other side of the coin where they don't have the one you picked out during the order because someone else switched out their ordered one for your color -- seems a bit unfair esp considering the lack of stock.I kinda lost respect for them because... out of one side of their mouth the say that everything about the 6+ is better and even go out of their way to say that the issue everyone was worried about was in fact a non issue in their tests but then say ohh the 6 was the better phone despite the fact that they wrote a whole article which would lead one to believe the contrary was in fact the case.On the flip side, AT&T or Verizon can raise prices $5 and people will call them evil and greedy.Even though that in itself is annoying, the fact that someone in a much higher level was probably told that by the tech department makes me wonder just how incompetent their tech side has become to give such stupid advice.Honestly, there are times I wish my iPhone 5 was larger(when I'm awake, walking around) and there are times when I find it too big(when I'm lying in bed, on my side, trying to hold it with one hand at a weird angle) Over all I don't miss the Nexus Galaxy I had(screen size wise) I don't have any problem with Apple allowing more choices in their line up.IDK why it sounded horrible I have a sprint iPhone 5 and whether he or not it sounds great either way I mean really if I can clearly understand the other person on the other side what does it matter !

The plastic cover has perfect fit & finish and crucially, not only does it allow access to the removable battery, but most people would have it covered by a case.Hey I'm currently rocking the black smart flex card case by speck on my slate iPhone 5 and its been my favorite case ever.In my case, I'm on AT&T next and would just rather save some money by moving to a 6 because I know I would be just as happy with a 6.got the 6 first, absolutely thought Id never get a phone the size of the Plus, was chirping that the 6 is the perfect size and phone, but then I started getting envious of the Plus, then i wanted to switch to the Plus and I did and i love it that much more over the 6 and im beyond happy and satisfied I switched to the Plus Love the screen and battery life tremendously, they are simply incredible on the Plus, also has OIS which is a benefit, its been about a week since I owned the Plus and I am already used to the size(granted I rock it without a case to keep it slim and light, which the thinness and weight makes it alot more tolerable to hold and feels good imo, much better feel and hold and is slimmer in hand then other phablets, I am used to the size alreadyWith the leather Apple case it's still great to hold size wise for me, and it's grippy now.BTW, very happy the kids use the iPads (Griffin case has kept them in perfect condition).I've noticed having the case gives me a lot of freedom because I'm not constantly worried about scratching my phone which is nice.Have my skin for phone coming this week I stopped at BB and got a holster with case and a seperate clear rubber case fit the holster perfect too!I spent a few days last week watching craigslist last week and bought a sealed iPhone 6 Plus 64GB Gray last Friday for $725.00 - Activated, went to Apple store grabbed a leather case and an extra lighting cable for use with an old iPad charger for use as my travel charger (Supposedly it charges faster with the bigger iPad charger) Anyway, if you're tired of waiting or don't want to be stuck in a contract paying way over full price for a phone, this is a great alternative.I keep going back to the case (Spigen Ultra Hybrid) this is the first phone regardless of the manufacture that does not feel "better" without a case the Spigen actually feels great in the hand, only think I hate about cases is the dust it collects around the openingsCongrats, hopefully with the case, you'll be happy with the 6+ It is a great phone. They can even post pictures after they sit on their phone and claim under the oath of the internet that it was always in their front pocket, in a case, and that they wear baggy microfiber pants because they are so terrified of bending their precious phone.other companies like protect my bubble might be worth mentioning too its pretty good assumption that you will drop your phone at least once and maybe break your screen, so i figure any kind of accidental damage plan is a necessity just like a good case.Yeah that's why I got a back protector, the iPhone is just too slick and beautiful that a case kinda ruins that nice feel when you hold it naked.I agree with you less than 24 hours after receiving my 6 plus I bought an incipio Highland folio case and am Happy and confident it offers protection against damaging my phone.awesome, I always keep my phone in a dedicated pocket, I think with the apple leather case and applecare+, I will be fine without a screen protector awesome! With a case, it's not unwieldy, and I've found pockets other than those in my pants to fit the phone in (jackets, shirts, et cetera).I have a clear case that gives complete protection, has a nice fit and still shows off the Apple Design.Great screen, great battery life and with my wallet case, I got rid of my wallet. It seems clear from your description that when moving, the location will be problematic, but I'm still unclear as to why would this would be the case even when I'm standing stock still.I got Applecare + on it, this phone is way too beautiful to put a case on it imo, bought Applecare+ for peace of mind, and knowing I can get a replacement for around $80 if anything happens besides theft Much much better then having to pay alot more if you happen to bust your phone, Applecare + is awesome, and it's also for 2 years, AND boosts your 1 year limited warranty to 2 yearsyeah with my other phones I went without a case but with the 6 gold, I got a nice leather(brown) case and it feels really nice in my hands and fortunately doesn't add any extra weight to the phone. This Tech21 case is nice, thin and looks awesome on the iPhone. With that being said, Tech 21 makes a fabulous flat black case for the iPhone 6+ that is amazing looking on the phone and feels great in the hand. The leather case is just too awesome, plus it adds a nice grip. The case is beautiful and it feels great on the phone. However, it is really big and I am trying to decide how to transport - what kind of case - how to fit into my purses, etc.Own the iPhone 6 with a Spigen case and find it to be a perfect fit for me.I'm not wasting a penny buying some cheap ugly case I don't like for the interim when I have apple care. The 6+ is a perfect fit, with a case, for me.Actually - for a case like mine with a lip over the front, the screen protector is great cause its "case friendly" for that reason. If anyone is looking for a wallet/wristlet option for the 6+, I found that the wallet is a completely perfect fit for mine even when it's in the apple leather case.Slipped it into that nice case Apple was kind enough to throw in for my trouble. It gives the iPhone great grip and the black/grey case looks great with the space grey iPhone! It's an amazing excuse I've seen on these very forums... "I don't use a case because the phone is beautiful!"This site is driving me crazy I can't keep coming here and obsessing on WHEN WILL I GET MY PHONE I'm not getting a damn thing done On the bright side I do have a fancy new iPhone 6 Plus CASE I can carry around and fantasize about what it might be like to carry around a real phone Maybe I should just go get a big 'ol magnifying glass to make my 5s look bigger in the mean time Oh and my wife - she thinks we all are crazy tracking every baby step our phones are taking from conception to delivery out the birth canal We are by the way .In my case we have 3 phones(2 smart phones, 1 dumb phone, 1 smart phone on unlimited + 1 smart phone on 300 mb) the old school plans with the subsidies come out to about $1900 cheaper over a 2 year period compared to Mobile Shared Value + ATT Next. Thanks buddy for the kind reply, I totally agree with you, applying one of these films on top of this beautiful display is a bit like killing it...I think the raised lips of the leather case will be plenty for me.I started out pretty patient, it's watching premier members be prioritized over the rest of us peons and now the worldwide release of my iPhone into the hands of those waaaaaaay behind me in the queue that have simple ruined this entire process for me, because there's always been something exciting about staying up until 2 (in my case), ordering your iPhone, and anticipating its arrival when you finally open the box and see your new phone before the vast majority of the world gets so close a look, there was a reward there, a magic, and that's just gone thanks to this release!Great phone hardware wise (screen, camera and battery life) but for me it is just too big a device to use, especially with a case on it.Great case without great phone stinks. They did take my credit card in case I never returned the defective unit, but they never did charge me any kind of fee for the advance replacement.Of course, it would be nice if the lines were smaller, but no one has figured out how to defy the laws of physics and build a seamless all metal case enclosure for a phone. These tech websites are making these iPhone bending reports such a big deal, of coarse it's gonna bend if you put that much pressure on it, any phone would...People always find the smallest things to complain about, a lot wanted a big iPhone for such a long time now they got it but keep finding negative things about it, people want thin, light, indestructible and cheap and they'll still not be satisfied, simple solution of putting a case on it would solve the issue...out of at least 10 million iPhones only a small percentage of iPhones actually were bent but these reports are making this such big deal and people are actually going out and exchanging their phones smh...just my opinion thoughAmazingly enough the Plus does fit in the front pocket of my baggy mom jeans that I wear most of the time I'm in my ordinary routine...even with a bulky case on it will fit, though I'll have to change the way I bend down to pick stuff up.I can see having to wear bigger pants if the phone literally doesn't fit, so that is changing your clothes for a device I guess if that's the case and you end up buying the phone, but I don't think it should bend just from being in your pants, assuming you can fit it in there obviously. Most people put their iPhones in cases, you can get this great Spigen case in Slate today if you want it (I have it, I'm a Slate fan, it looks great).Providing a structurally strong phone case, however ugly it may be, would be a MUCH more realistic answer.I'm thinking of going naked since I saw the phone in the apple store and it looks gorgeous and feels amazing without a case.My 5s looks fabulous despite a lot of hard living in my pocket when I'm doing landscape/gardening work or playing with kids and dogs at the park because it's kept in a nice leather wallet case that protects it front and back. The typical fan will just buy a case for it and say its the greatest phone even Smart apple fans will buy a different phone, androids or windows.Bought Applecare + other day on my 6, got ghostarmor screen protector on it but no case, honestly phone is too beautiful to be wrapped up in a case, its expensive, but i want to enjoy it fully, glad i got Applecare +, its amazing Haha me too I got it on Sunday, feels really good to have it honestlyWow, So ups delivered my phone at 12:15 and had 2 boxes with him, I thought nice my case also came at the same time how perfect was that.Just happy it's coming, I do have to pick up some kind of case today though..the one I ordered from Amazon shipped Friday but arriving Oct 8!She did this evening and gave me enough credit to get a nice case as well as a bill credit BTW I was nice on the phone and and explained that a lot of the frustration I've seen on this thread had as much to do with ATT's lack of transparency as well as the fact that the CSR's obviously were not given any leadership/guidance/information that would have at least given the consumer a feeling that we weren't all being stonewalled.Looking at my case is the only thing that keeps me sane...well somewhat sane...I am looking at a case pretending there is a phone in it.Length of 6+ ... it needs to be 1/4-1/2" shorter ... would be perfect... i get that we can't shorten the bottom without changing the touchid sensor in some way and i don't think Apple would like a non-equal bezel I just felt that when i was holding it 1 handed without a case i had to hold onto it tightly which didn't make for best comfort experience Do miss the screen though .... was amazing in its contrast and tonality and so sharp and battery was significantly bigger.Great looking solid aluminum construction, and adjusts quite a bit so you can size it to fit whatever case you are using or none at all.Frankly, I'm getting kind of terrified over getting the phone itself cause of so many people dropping it at barely any distance and sometimes even with a case and cracking the entire screen. With the 5s I used Apple's leather case which I though was the ideal balance of protection vs minimal bulk, and also provided nice grip and style.never had gold before the black's always been default, but i went to the AS today and the gold with white looks awesome and in the brown leather case the little gold accent ring around the home button is fabulous.... p.s.The Apple black leather case is beautiful and feels great! It is an awesome case and just about the perfect case for me, because I'd prefer to go naked, but I'd worry about scratches and the iPhone is just too darn slippery on its own.We went out case hunting for my wife today again; most of the companies whose cases she really likes aren't out yet, so she's been trying to convince herself that she's grateful she doesn't have the phone yet because she's afraid that she would break it without a good Otterbox.I already have the Spigen Tough Armor case for this (BTW that case is amazing and Spigen makes awesome cases), and it looks big, but not that big.Frustratingly the leather case has already arrived, I'm excited about the 4.7 screen now, defo happy with my choice of phone.I received my 6 Plus yesterday, physically it is the most perfect apple device I have ever opened, no marks of any type at all, very happy with the assembly QC on the outer case.I got it on my 6 and it looks terrible - it does not cover anywhere near the entire front of the phone, and the box said nothing about case friendly.I've been looking all over and can't seem to find a "smart case" (similar to Apple's iPad Mini smart case) for the iPhone 6+.It'd be nice to have that protection with the nice Apple case.Beautiful case for your awesome iPhone. As such, was thinking...it would be perfect if Apple had a smart case for the phone like it does for the iPad mini (and of course for the iPad Air).I only really use my iPad mini in bed to watch Netflix so the smart case is perfect for that. They justify a TPE slip case riddled with holes as "creative" and "luxurious" and slap a $30 price tag on it when its worth about $0.99 all over eBay.She apologized profusely for me not getting my phone right away, and I kind of hemmed and hawed about them not being able to expedite the shipping without getting mean or being rude (she really was a very nice young lady; I have no idea how she sounded so enthusiastic this early in the morning), and then she finally said "But you know what I could do..." and offered me a free leather case. The case fit perfectly and keeps the back of the phone scratch free because it's nice and soft inside.Worst case, it's not the end of the world if I don't have a brand new iPhone on day 1 (though it would have been nice to have it before I go on vacation). No way to make them all happy dead pixels screen to blue screen to yellow nicks in the case smells funny when I opened the box.I could have played The Great Carnac and predicted that the 6 camera was going to be the same way, but had other things going on... Those that seek to romp around free from encumbrance (naked) might find this a reason to buy at least a small case of some kind...I want to stick with Apple, but for me to do so here's what I need: - A smarter, more intuitive and forward thinking iOS 8 - A better camera with improved flash - Sapphire screen (Not a fan of screen protectors, also not a fan of scratches on my screen) - Wireless Charging (Probably the feature I want most on the next iPhone) -Better battery life (No real complaints about the battery life of my 5, but improvements can, and should, be made whenever possible) - NFC (I want to link my debit card to my phone for fast payments) - An aluminum back that doesn't scratch up so easily when using the phone without a case (The iPhone 5 is gorgeous and looks/feels best when used without a case.Case in point, when I went from a 3GS to a 4S, I was able to get a mophie case right away, because the same one that fit the 4 would also fit the 4S.Black and also have a black Lunatik Taktik Extreme case - looks soooooooooo sexy Would have got a black Samsung S5 but they look soooooooooo ugly now with their imitation plastic chrome surroundThe so called compelling evidence could just be the case that Apple have told manufacturers that this option exists now to get headphones on the market for the launch and isnt compelling at all that they are dumping the normal jack.To be honest with you, there's really no way for me to ensure you that it offers "great" protection because I have NEVER dropped my phone (**knocks on wood**) I'm actually more of a fan of the screen protector than the case.I use a Speck case with mine which has done more than its fair share of saving my bacon and happy to report that only just last week when I decided to give my phone a good cleaning and inspection that the Black/Slate finish is perfect and even the rear glass inserts are intact. Therefore in my view if you have a job which involves working outside in far from ideal environments I think a case is a worthwhile investment.- Reworked UI with trendy nonsense out and haute design in again; - Ability to choose default apps; - iCloud and Apple Maps that are at least as good as Google's services; - Some kind of widgets/dashboard/"Now" screen; - Some kind of a user-friendly take on file management; - Swype-esque keyboard; - Quality onboard speaker; - Usable iTunes sync functionality on Windows; - More wear-resistant case.iPhone 3GS had gone with 2 dead batteries and 4S was so flawless I dropped twice on the sidewalk with screen protector and cheap case no damage at all.Example: Old Plan 6GB Mobile Share with 2 smart phones = And I upgrade both every 2 years New Plan 10GB Mobile Share Value plan with 2 smart phones Data Charge = $100 Number of phones = 2 15*2 = $30 18.75 x 2 = $37.5 New bill evaluated cost = The question to ask is if its worth it, in this case for an extra $7.50/mo, for the new plan and extra 4GB of data. That case is awesome I want one now bad , where did you but itYou deserve perfect cuz you paid for perfect , your not the bad guy cuz you demand your phone work , that's called taking a stand and not letting subpar quality control affect you because it shouldn't affect one of us , we as consumers should stick together on something like this and give each other the knowledge to get the job done , not doubt and call names like children Than why after 3 white box replacements through the mail with the same manager on the case did I get upgraded to a 5s white 16 gig , I'm begging people to not make statements that aren't true , if you suffer through 3 defective iphone 5 they will upgrade you to a 5s because after 3 refurbs they must give you a new device and they don't make new 5 anymore they only have refurb white box , I video tapped all 3 of my white box unboxings right from the signing to the opening and they all had scratched screens or something else and I had the proof , not only did I get upgraded I received a call from Erik from corporate who was stunned with what I went through and sent me a 32 gig iPod touch , just please stop assuming people are trying to commit fraud because we aren't , we are simply here trying to help each other get on the right path to enjoying their devices and if sharing my story and the email address of the managers that helped me gets something done for someone else and helps out one more lost person going through what I did that makes me feel great , we should all recieve perfect devices the first time and that don't happen but we have rights and should use themI'm sorry but Mary realized how much time and effort I put into getting a good phone and I could have switched to android but I stayed the coarse and now I have a new 5s and she gave me a black leather case , then after I emailed Tim cook about the ordeal Erik gustafson calls me and hooks me up with a free 32 gig iPod touch for my daughter , don't let the negative people affect you , there are good people at apple and I gave you there names and emails and you should be treated like gold now , I hope all works out buddy have a happy new year and after 7 replacements I would demand a new device and then you will get upgraded don't be afraid to ask because you have rightsJust be nice, poltite, honest and make your case.Really happy with the slim fit Elago S5C The case fits perfectly, is very thin, adds very minimal but protective lay on table, and it feels great.More than happy with my gold 5s, it's mega subtle and looks great living in the Spigen Air frosted case.I am confident a software fix will come in the long run but my feeling is at worst case scenario apple will ask/make it mandatory for app developers (apps which require gyro/accelerometers) to include re-calibration tools at the setup of the apps. And the 5c fits right into an iPhone 5 case, the only thing is the volume button shape which throws off an otherwise perfect fit. However, I requested a refund due to the poor fit and they refunded my entire order within a day and assured me that they were working on the fit for the cases and they should iron out any kinks in the next few shipments...so potentially this could be a great case if they stick to their word.Spigen Ultra Fit (Smooth white) The case fits great, looks great, and has a slight lip above the screen. The only other thing worth mentioning is that I had a custom "uncommon" brand clear case on the phone that fit rather tightly. Also wanted to point out alot of people complaining about scuffs out the box, i spoke to staff in an apple store (UK) and he said it was the case only for the first batch and considering mine was made in november and is perfect... it shouldn't put you off purchasing a great phone.. ****** the android haters :P P.S.F2 = Factory - not sure of which L = unknown J9 = production week - in your case week 35 (September) XXX = your identifying numbers (unique to your phone only) XXX6 = (last four characters) indicate what model of phone you have - this is not unique to your phone, but the same for all of your model - it would be nice if you provided that for the chart that some of us have been updating in previous posts Awesome. The case itself is Belkin slim fit, it's actually quite nice.I bought the official black leather case for my 5S and it was nice, really nice, but I'd sometimes take it off to use it naked, until one day I took the case off and didn't put it back on again...for about nine months.I kept my 4s naked for the full 2 years I owned it, I upgraded to a 5s and was planning on keeping it naked until I dropped it on a tennis court and scratched the side, I immediately became paranoid and went out and bought the Apple leather case, Im very happy because believe it or not the case saved my phone after being ran over by a pickup truck!False again, it is as expensive or as cheap as the case warrants given not the amount in controversy but the amount of discovery needed and the number of witnesses needed.I use the phone constantly with one hand and no case, best phone in terms of feel that I ever owned and I'm pretty damn picky.Anyways I was a target and I saw a 5s on display and it looked like a kids toy without a case...the display also looked inferior even to my regular 6's screen...it was just very strange...then I was riding with my buddy on leave and he has the iPhone 4 and we're on the interstate so he asks me to text someone back and I felt like I was a gorilla trying to type on the smallest phone ever.I too have ever so slightly backlight bleeding at same exact spot on my Plus, it isnt really too bad at all, on black screens it prettt much looks uniform, but there is a little bit that I do see....wonder if overtime as the backlight gets used if itll even out or slightly dim there, kind of bothers me, but I think my case is lighter then yours, not gonna try and go replace it though because the next one could be worse or have other issues (my Plus is flawless in every single other way)Also with a leather case one handed is kind of hard, but kind of doable. No easy fix tape blurs photos I think this is very bad and sad ,maybe iPhone should state needs case immediately will break without warning since camera protrudes.Space gray looks great naked, but I put mine in Apple's blue leather case and now the whole ensemble is a boring dark monotone.People get replacement for tiny bending (wobbles) when it's obvious not a customer fault, but in your case it looks like some excessive force could have been applied, so bad luck. That's frustrating to have scratches and blemishes all over you phone especially when all you've done is have it in your pocket...or even worse...a case.Worst case scenario, I would have been out $30 if it was really horrendous.I actually get annoyed seeing a iphone in a ugly ass case.Weird, how the CEO uses a inferior device with a case on it.Damn, sorry *Mods please delete this thread if you get a chance I'll take your word for it...but to play devils advocate, one could argue that the softer aluminum when hit very hard creates a sharp internal edge which could puncture the softer Li-Ion battery that apple uses where as cheap quality plastic phones with removable backplates tend to have hard plastic battery housings....I I think in this case it doesn't matter what phone the guy had, same result would have happened due to the force upon impact resulting in what you described.Best case scenario is that the system is completely secure; worst case is that we're in the same position we've always been in (which I don't see as realistic)The weird thing is, turning this on and using it for more than a couple minutes, the icons on the home screen and photo displays actually kinda give me a weird case of nausea. It can be "excellent", but the difference in value between "excellent" and "flawless" usually amounts to less than the price of the case that was required to keep it flawless (and no one wants your old case lol...).You may have a nice clean looking phone but you don't see it cause it's in that ugly caseWorst case scenario, you find the backup problematic, you erase all content and settings and setup phone as new.She is a truck driver that has bad knees and a bad back from driving the truck but you probably do not care about that case either. It's quite possible there are bad batches, and if you're are daily taking a case off and on with an already defective iPhone, you're in a world of trouble. In my case, sprint's (fake) coverage map was showing that there was excellent LTE coverage, but I had to be lucky to even get 1-2 bars of LTE, and the max speed was 1.5 Mbps at most.199 for a Verzion iPhone 6 + 52 tax +32 activation fee -199 for iPhone 4 trade in (CL value is ~70 tops) + prorated service (~55 for one month) = 83+ dollars 10-20 buck verzion CL phone + 50 lumina refurb + 10 sim fee + 120 2 months service T-mobile [worst case scenario] - 20 sell lumia phone =60+ dollars (180 worst case) 180 + 84 = 264 252 is about price I would pay on AT&T for an iPhone 4 + tax.so your solution to a problem that doesn't really exist (I can bend / break any phone, I've offered to people who ask me about being worried about my phone) is to put a hideous case on it that barely adds any real protection.worst case, if the service gets that bad, ill go back to att on a family share plan.Highly doubtful they would and even more doubtful the case would go anywhere.if you are not so cautious with your phone and worried about bending it get a damn case!I'm using a Pt case now; it feels great in my hands but i'm not sure how great the impact resistance is.None of which means that bendgate is fake or that the YT video is fake in any case.I thought it wouldn't fit but it fit great and the grippiness of my clear case holds it up nicely as if purposely on display. In every case excluding maybe a rare extremely god awful console port pc settings maxed out blow consoles out of the water, those kind of graphics are not applicable to consoles, they at aren't powerful enough, no amount of optimization will fix that. You seem like a lovely, intelligent person but in this case I hope you are an idiot with no idea what you're talking aboutFWIW, I bought a bumper case and it's a nice case, but it still diminishes the ideal way to use the phone.I've been whining about this on this forum before this thread started, worried about whether this would happen and inquiring about rigid cases to help prevent this (and reading comments about how I don't need a case and why would I want to take away from the sleek beauty of the phone)...but even now - having predicted this - I'm bummed and not feeling as excited about the 6 Plus that should be arriving soon.A case makes it much easier to move the phone to reposition my grip though I'm not sure if I'm developing a bad habit as I suspect it could easily fall out of my hand if moving about or not paying enough attention.its big yet i can fit it in one hand and type and all that i did with my 5s i just gotta get a case i be scared I'm gonna drop it at work and all thatI have put my 4s in a Quadlock case to mount on my bike and I was not happy to see it scratched the metal trim so I'm not really keen on hard cases at the moment.I kinda lost respect for them because... out of one side of their mouth the say that everything about the 6+ is better and even go out of their way to say that the issue everyone was worried about was in fact a non issue in their tests but then say ohh the 6 was the better phone despite the fact that they wrote a whole article which would lead one to believe the contrary was in fact the case.****** i highly suggest one card for express check out in app as the system gets really buggy + slow the more clicks you need to do, if any way to use one card i would try.....they state a gift card issued by credit card co but given the wording i would assume that it would be ok for two credit cards i know a lot of online merchants like the top dept stores will only allow one credit card but mutiple store gift cards, you may want to send a quick note under a different email just to confirm as apple is quite strict.... in worse case you could get the gift card from one of the credit cards and that will def work, good luck!If it appears that your replacement is still bad, you should CALL APPLECARE, state your case (politely) that your replacement is bad.The iPhone 6 was the first iPhone I was going to skip a case... now.. BLEH... protruding camera is so absurd.. make the damn phone thicker and add more battery.. CMON Ive!Chances are that it'll be in a worse state than the 4S when I get my upgrade, just cus the apple leather case is crap and aluminium is waayyy too soft and easily deforms :L Plus I'm a bit clumsyWent in to Telecom to upgrade my Samsung galaxy nexus to a Samsung galaxy s5 and was sooooooooo disgusted at the horrible cheap nasty imitation plastic chrome edge and nasty plastic case that I got the iphone 5s instead. The case is great but the screen protector is AMAZING.Worse case scenario you can buy new battery, fortunately for you it's one of the few parts that are extraordinarily easy (and cheap) to fix yourself.I have never seen a case that doesn't make an iPhone look cheap and feel cheap.I was having issues with the home button from day 1... My fault for not taking it in straight away, and of course Apple would have to take "on trust," but in this case, the home button issue (at worst) was made worse by the fall.If not, your finger moved too much or, worst case, you may have given TouchID a bad initial reading.Old device worst case: (0 + 20mg) and (1g - 20mg) New device worst case (0 + 95mg) and (1g - 95mg) Old worst case inclination: atan(20/980) = 1.16 degrees New worst case inclination: atan(95/905) = 5.99 degrees So I think we've found our culprit. The area on the back where the makes contact with the case makes a strange oily-looking mark which is ugly as hell, the case fits the phone a bit too tightly for my tastes (making it difficult to remove), and the edges are a bit sticky (in that it would be difficult to remove from my pocket).Perhaps I'll post a pic when I've got the case and I can display the mad colour combo in all its dubious glory. In your case, I'd be worried that they would send you one that is worse.Damn im almost thinking of going to just find the closest cell shop and pick up a cheap case.I'm not sure what kind of case I'll get-probably an invisishield for the front/back and possibly a bumper-although I hate cases on phones I'm a bit paranoid with all the broken glass photos popping up.

buttons
I'm glad Apple doesn't see the need for that either as dedicated buttons or onscreen.- dead pixel - backlight bleed - uniformity (one side darker, yellower) - smudge / smear inside glass - dust inside screen - dust or dirt inside glass (outside of screen area) - recessed / uneven volume button (on one but not another) - sticky vibration button (normal ones have a nice firm click) - uneven pressure / sticky / unbalance on sleep wake button (normal ones have a nice click to it) - uneven home button pressure (perfect ones have a nice click to it, but this is personal preference) - uneven gap when assembled (run your finger on the edge on each side and compare for your 6/6+) - dust inside camera lens - general cosmetic scratches / chips / dings (Apple logo, aluminum, buttons, sim slot) And this list hasn't even covered technical issues like wifi, Bluetooth, Touch ID, vibration rattle, etc.The 4.7 inch iPhone seems very sturdy and solid, no hollow back, solid metal sound when you tap on it, rock hard solid buttons, the phone feels amazingThe fit and buttons are just perfect.Luckily, I was given a GREAT replacement (the buttons are super tight, nice and "clicky".A realistic look at the next iPhone from my perspective: PRIORITY Pre-installed Flash Removable battery More physical buttons for options such as profile 5.0MB camera or better Better battery life REALLY NICE TO HAVE Video conferencing and/or live streaming.(From playing with both models in store) Cheap feeling overall Loose buttons Very slippery Way too thin Ugly as hellI had to go through 6 iPhone 5 devices because one had horrid crackling during calls (every call, to any number and however strong the signal was), four had loose buttons (including the one I ended up keeping), and three had nasty scratches on the casing (as well as loose buttons on two of them). The Plus is going to feel awkward to many existing users, unless you have used something this size, years of being used to using a phone with one hand, will have you frustrated that the home buttons is not accessible.I've received replacement flex cables with defective sleep button in the past, but I think it is possible for the volume buttons to be defective, as well. The loose buttons have always irritated me, they feel cheap and nasty.I was nervous that it's nearly mid cycle, but so many of the buttons had stopped working on my 4s that it was getting incredibly annoying.

device itunes
I agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GB

pocket
Nearly all my friends/family ripped me saying it was way too big, wouldn't fit in pockets very well etc, but I kept trying to explain to them that yes it was a bit big when sitting in the pocket, but it's only a minor inconvenience and it all fades away to insignificance when you actually use the phone as it's so lovely to use.Went from the 6 to the 6 Plus and am beyond absolutely happy and satisfied and glad that I did, no regrets at all and i am already used to the Plus now...the bigger screen and 1080p panel, the OIS, and espcially the noticeably better battery life of the Plus makes it feel like a big upgrade from past iPhones and a legit upgrade...I am absolutely in love with my Plus, if you dont mind a Note 3 sized phone/phablet , the Plus is the way to go, I promise you wont be let down The thinness and tapered edges makes this device great to hold in hand IMO, and keeps it slim and very tolerable and lighter and skinnier in pocket due to its form factor OIS is the smallest reason to upgrade to the 6 Plus, but OIS most certainly does help in low light and makes the Plus produce better images then the 6, you picked a bad few examples, OIS helps quite a bit in low light On a 6 Plus here, came from a 6 , and have noticed absolutely no difference in performance, both scream and peform blazing fast and give fantastic graphical details in games alongside with superb high frame rate, Vainglory looks and plays beyond amazing on my Plus I agree to this, 6 Plus performs just as blazing fast and stupdenously fast as the 6 I switched from which I had own for over a month and a halfAnd any pocket where the 5s will fit fine, the 6 will fit just fine too.I either need the smaller 6 or I wish that the 6+ was a bit bigger so that I can hold it the way I want to hold it....I was even thinking that my Kindle Paperwhite would be the perfect size phone for a big phone....seriously, my Kindle Paperwhite feels GREAT as a phone if it were a phone...it fits in my pocket and feels comfortable when I hold it to my head....hoping for a Kindle iPhone 7!There is no phone at all out there that is 6 inches screen and smaller then the Plus Im sorry to say...and the bezels are not bad at all on the Plus, the black front and curved edges makes the screen really beautiful actually, the bezels are not bad at all, although obviously they could of made it slimmer for a overall smaller device, But the thinness of the Plus and weight makes it the easiest phablet to hold and use after a long period of time, slim fit in the pocket, and noticeably thinner then just about every phablet out thereI typically wear slim fit Dockers which fit more loosely than the average blue jeans and I found myself having to remove the phone from my pocket if I was sitting down at the desk. This, this website is superb and it helped me find a 6 Plus 64 Gb in stock right at my local Apple store, I got the 4.7 inch 6 on Launch date, and I had it for about a month, I loved it but the Plus was looking so luring and amazing once I got to play with it a few times, I was so sure at first I didnt ever want the Plus, but then I started envying it, and then My brother ended up buying this Plus at Apple and we traded my 4.7 inch i6 with Applecare + on it for a 64 gb 6 plus for me, and I honestly couldnt be anymore satisfied and happy with this, I am beyond happy I got the plus, I love this thing and Im already use to the size, the thinness of the device is truly what makes this phablet actually very tolerable imo and its very slim in the pocket, The bigger screen alongside with the stupendously good battery life alone is beyond worth it and also OIS, All other phones just feel tiny now to me hah, TLDR: switched from a 6 (never thought id get a phablet) to a Plus and i am beyond in love with this thing and i am beyond satisifed and happy i went from the 6 to the 6 PlusThat took away any kind of "won't fit in my pocket" issue.I hope by Christmas this will be cleared out so I can treat myself to a nice Christmas present It would be nice to know if those that have iPhone 6 and use it in the back pocket and even sit on it had any issues. The perfect form factor for a carry-in-your pocket phone is the Nexus 5 - a great Android phone. They can even post pictures after they sit on their phone and claim under the oath of the internet that it was always in their front pocket, in a case, and that they wear baggy microfiber pants because they are so terrified of bending their precious phone.what I find amazing is that after the success of Lewis bending video, which surely gave him some huge cash, nobody but nobody in this world came up with the idea of making a video of a straight iPhone 6 or 6 Plus being put in a pocket and then taken off it bent....by magic like all the bend cases we keep seeing on here....And if I had a big purse it would have to have a cellphone pocket that would keep my phone from moving around and other objects from moving around and hitting it.Another contributing factor was owning an iPad mini and using that along with my iP5S sitting on my couch thinking "Wouldn't it be nice to have something bigger than my phone, smaller than the mini and still fit in my pocket..." Tastes evolve and needs change.awesome, I always keep my phone in a dedicated pocket, I think with the apple leather case and applecare+, I will be fine without a screen protector awesome! They are scratch resistant, just not scratch proof, I am pretty sure "iom-strengthed glass" is just another name for Gorilla Glass i got my 6 screen covered in Ghost Armor clear screen protector....I love this screen protector, perfect cutouts, perfect size, fits the whole glass display, had a guy at the kiosk did it, no air bubbles at all anywhere, complete clean and clear installation, it is flawless and you cant even tell sometimes that there actually is a screen protector thats how well installed it was(guy at the kiosk did it, put it in a heat box, popped all remaining other air bubbles/pushed them out) I feel very safe and secure with this Ghost Armor protector lol I know it will hold up great and absorb alot of scratches over time instead of my screen Honestly , literally there is not much you can do to protect your screen without a screen protector, a OCD guy like me, where i never keep anything in my pocket with my phone but my phone, where I am always shaking off my pockets to get all lint/sand out before I put my phone in there so nothing can scratch it in my pocket, blowing on my phone sometimes throughout the day to get dust/lint off of it from my pocket, and being very careful where I place my phone (Never in a car cup holder etc) and even doing all this, all my smartphones that I had owned even with care like this, I always still end up finding micro scratches on the screen build up over the months, doesn't affect actual screen display like i dont see rainbow lines or anything like that, but still micro scratches all over the display, it is almost impossible to guard from really with no screen protector you honestly can't do nothing about it and it's not "cheap Apple" , its just not sapphire glass display lol.Unfortunately im rushed off my feet so much on the shop floor that I don't have time to rush back and forth my desk to use my iPad air, and it's too big to fit in my suit pocket, while the 6 Plus is big enough to do both jobs and is small enough to fit in my jacket pocket.I loved everything about it except for the fact that it felt super big in my pocket, it seemed heavy (kind of made my wrist sore) and that Otterbox didn't have any cases for it yet.The 6 is really nice because it feels like my 5s in my pocket, but I really miss the big screen and phenomenal battery life that the 6 plus had.Not defending Apple here however I do find it rather funny in your original thread you were like "omg i just pull phone out my pocket and its bended, i did nothing to cause it to bend/break" yet you end this opening post with "will get applecare+ just incase i drop it again" lol.... original thread ( ) this thread: funny guyNot one or two people with questionable reports but an overwhelming number of undeniable cases of pocket bent phones. That all changed again yesterday when my 128GB silver 6 was delivered and I have to say I absolutely love it The size is perfect (slightly smaller than the S5 it's replaced which makes it much more pocket and hand friendly), TouchID is brilliant and the general fit and finish is second to none I didn't think I'd missed iOS but even though the last version I used was 6 and it's obviously changed a lot since then it was like welcoming an old friend and it feels good to be back I've always had dark coloured phones before but this time I decided to go for the silver as white is the iconic Apple colour IMO and I'm really glad I did - it looks stunningAmazingly enough the Plus does fit in the front pocket of my baggy mom jeans that I wear most of the time I'm in my ordinary routine...even with a bulky case on it will fit, though I'll have to change the way I bend down to pick stuff up.The size isn't event that bad, but I'm just ok indecisive and notice I carry this phone around a lot at work due to it not being the easiest to place in my pocket.Surprisingly the Plus model fit in my pocket when I tried it at the Apple Store and the big screen wasn't too bad to hold in my hands.I know that apple tested these phones 15,000 different ways, with sophisticated equipment, and are smart enough to know releasing a device that 'bent in your pocket under normal wear' would be a poor move for them, I just dont think they would do that, and I believe their testing facility is fully capable of recreating whatever circumstances alleged bender victims have hypothesized. After completely moving away from my 5S fully, I could not see the point in going with anything smaller as it has worked out well for me at the Gym, In the car and overall in the pocket, so far it has fit very well into my dress pants, shorts and track pant pockets.the bend thing isn't ridiculous, its not going to bend in your front pocket if your not in some weird awkward position. My 5s looks fabulous despite a lot of hard living in my pocket when I'm doing landscape/gardening work or playing with kids and dogs at the park because it's kept in a nice leather wallet case that protects it front and back.I was so happy to finally be back on iOS, but now it has me worried too much about breaking a $900 phone, when I never gave Note 3 a second thought in my pocket.Even with a regular fit pair of Levi's, it can sometimes be a tight fit pulling my 5s out of the front pocket when I'm sitting down.I posted my pics/video because I'm pissed that this beautiful, amazing phone bent in the pocket of my shorts in three days with nothing extraordinary going on.Then I checked out the 5.5 and thought geez this thing is huge, but after a moment of playing with it it wasn't so bad, however I put my phones in my front pocket (you know being a guy and all) and although I know it would fit in my front pocket it would be very uncomfortable because of how huge it is.would not trade it for another love the larger screen for these retired old eyes no "pocket problems" better Nav screen for the car great for videos great for surfing websites overall just a great improvement.... and I think it's interesting reading the posts that seem to think "everyone will see you have a large phone" hogwash - nobody so far has even noticed it - in the real world (outside forums) no one seems to give a damn what phone I have...LOLand you want us to "Switch on that thing that sits between your ears" I had some of the earliest smart phones going back to windows phone's, ect.. and I never ever put a smart phone in my pocket most of the time, yes I do sometimes with dress pants, but never jeans, and I posted 2 links to 2 samsung phones that broke in pockets. It's also a good fit in the phone pocket in my purses, whereas a 6+ wouldn't have fit.The six is just perfect that way and I keep my phone in my pocket and it is great that way. However, since I don't have a purse nor really baggy/cargo pants (I don't wear skinny jeans either, I wear stuff that looks good - and that's not anything really baggy and sloppy), I couldn't get over the size of the 6 Plus as I had worries about how it'd fit in my pocket - particularly when sitting down.Lol exactly... she was worried about "pock-ability" but I showed her she still had plenty of room with her 5 and it's thinner...... She's going to gush over it (need that water proof sammy now) and I believe it will fit into her pocket just fine.Nope - I knew I was getting a 6 when I woke up at 2:53AM EST I carry my phone in my front pants pocket all of the time, and did try a co-worker's 5.5" phone in my pocket a couple weeks ago; it fit, and I could sit if I adjusted the phone a bit before sitting, but it was way too obtrusive.Well, I tested the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with 5.7 screen in my pants pocket and it fit perfect!Oh and a flexible phone would be great since I want to put that phone in my back pocket where my over sized wallet used to be.6 plus to big esp if you gym it which i do 3 times a week then run 3 days a week on off days as one member said, number two can barely fit in my pocket and just big overall 4.7 seems perfect.i thought the htc one m8 i had was big but jesus christI'll get the 6..it's $100 cheaper, bigger than my 5 screen, will fit in one hand, will fit in my pocket, an upgrade from my 5 camera, and I won't look foolish holding an iPad up to my ear for calls.Personally, I want the biggest phone that I can fit comfortably in my pocket (no man purse for me I tried a Note 3, and it fit in my pocket just fine.I'm slightly leaning toward the 6+, but I'm still afraid it will be too big to fit in my front jeans pocket comfortably.I am 6'1", 185 pounds, and "tricky" is not a word I would use to desribe fitting a Note in my pocket. In my world and among my peers I can even fit a 7" inch smart phone in pocket:4.7 perfect for gym/working out perfect for jogging/running perfect for taking pics perfect for back pocket and ease of use to carry around for a man 5.5 perfect for movies perfect for editing pics/viewing perfect for music/dj apps perfect for games perfect for browsing websites and shop perfect for reading books i am so so so torn that i cant make up my mind.A slightly smaller phone would fit my pocket much better and would still have a nice screen.Well, I tested the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with 5.7 screen in my pants pocket and it fit perfect!Really awesome when I'd been using a difficult to use 5, then a verrrrry slowwww 4, then to a brand new 5 for free out of warranty This whole experience makes me wonder exactly what kind of dirt gets into my pocket though heheI remain so amazed and grateful for tech that fits in a pocket and outguns those ol' things ten million to one without getting hot.Worked great - amazing how much pocket lint got in there!!It's perfect -- large enough to read things, play games, type comfortably, etc., but small enough to use with one hand and fit perfectly in a pocket.Carry it in a dedicated front pocket so the screen stays perfect.Simplified: AT&T MVNO's: - yours, too, will come no need to get yourselves upset or use unkind language towards hapless dronesThat's frustrating to have scratches and blemishes all over you phone especially when all you've done is have it in your pocket...or even worse...a case.If you're exceptionally active at work, these brick-like phones are really noticeable and annoying in your pocket - I had the Note 3 before, and that was bad enough - the 6+ is even worse with a smaller display to boot...My 5 fit in my back pocket but 6+ sticks out and I'm afraid it will fall out.The phone fit in pocket great - not too loose or tight.Of course it might not fit in a really, really tiny girls pocket or something but that's not the point, the point is it does fit in nearly everyones pockets but when it goes in and fits, it BENDS, that's the real issue. If you take into account that there are some fake answers on one end; also take into account that there are fake answers on the other side - Second, I don't think the problem is "the phone will bend in your pocket in your first couple of days of use", but "the phone will eventually bend in your pocket".If this is somehow a narrow thing and a non issue, which seems doubtful at this point, great but as It stands if the phone Is bending in a front pocket there is a definite problem and apple should have either engineered around it and honeycombed the metal and reinforced it or made the phone thicker.oh let me put my phone in my pocket.....damn it bent by some weird miracle....Then it shouldn't be new to you either that sitting with a cell phone in a tight pants pocket can subject your expensive device to undue stresses at best, and damage at worst.I'm "upgrading" from the 4S and I gotta say that as weird as this may sound, I really like the thickness of it because - another weird thing here - I can feel its weight in my pocket (yes POCKET) and it reminds me where I put it!What's even more delusional is to have one get bent in your pocket and then think "Oh, this particular one was just 'defective' so I'll have Apple replace it with another one exactly like it.People were screaming " give us bigger screens blah fingerprint sensor isn't spectacular blah" and now people are screaming " why are the new iPhones big wee the 5s is too big for my pocket"...Taking it on a bike workout, it was rather safe in my pant/short pockets, but the taking in-and-out of pockets makes it kind of a PITA, but it's assurance that it wont fly out of my pocket easily, so good n bad.Feels nice in my hands, but does not fit in my pocket.I'm worried about how it may look in dress pants, I guess I could always put it in my back pocket like a girl if worse comes to worse...The area on the back where the makes contact with the case makes a strange oily-looking mark which is ugly as hell, the case fits the phone a bit too tightly for my tastes (making it difficult to remove), and the edges are a bit sticky (in that it would be difficult to remove from my pocket).

i am 6'5 and i too have tried the samsung note 2 with the bigger screen and for the first couple of days it was weird but after that i was use to the size and feel i do agree that would be ideal for them to release 2 differnt size screens but i do not think i would want a screen size as big as the note as it makes it very uncomfortable in the pantsIt is a great phone but after a couple of days I could not use it anymore because of a strange reason: pain in my eyes after max.If you take into account that there are some fake answers on one end; also take into account that there are fake answers on the other side - Second, I don't think the problem is "the phone will bend in your pocket in your first couple of days of use", but "the phone will eventually bend in your pocket".Those complaining about horrible battery life need to wait a couple days, especially if you see the message that its still restoring Those claiming the have super duper awesome battery life are either not using their phone or are FOS.The bad thing is I've been sick for a couple days and have been napping on my couch, but since I can see the road and parking areas right in front of my living room windows, every time I start to doze I hear something and am gawking out the window thus thoroughly destroying my nap, which is making me feel worse from my sickies.I have a family member wanting a 5c/s and I have seen a few on craigslist the past couple days for $300-325 and I am assuming they have a bad esn, I remember reading that the iphone 5 on verizon would work on att/tmobile but wasnt sure if it would if it had a bad esn for Verizon

It's certainly the worst (though not terrible or unlivable) experience I have ever had with a brand new top end iPhone.I just want my once-pristine and flawless iPhone 6 Plus back to looking brand new and beautiful again (like I've kept ALLY of my previous iPhones looking like until trade-in.As you said, NFC has been around, and Apple is using a mix of great timing, great technology and their market brand equity to drive change/evolution from merchants and banks.Took my lunch hour to go pick it up and I am posting this with my brand new beautiful sexy iPhone 6 plus 64gb space gray!I had a happy mommy, beautiful daughter, and two brand new iphone 5's.Worst case, it's not the end of the world if I don't have a brand new iPhone on day 1 (though it would have been nice to have it before I go on vacation).Really awesome when I'd been using a difficult to use 5, then a verrrrry slowwww 4, then to a brand new 5 for free out of warranty This whole experience makes me wonder exactly what kind of dirt gets into my pocket though heheAs for OP having tiny scuffs around edges etc, Honestly having owned iPhone 5 and 5S right out of the box from Apple and gotten my iPhone 5 replaced twice (due to screen issue and because I wanted the AWS T-Mobile USA Compatible one), both my iPhone 5 replacement units along with brand new came that I originally purchased came with some tiny tiny marks on the shiny edges, but it didn't bother me because my iPhone worked perfectly and I ended selling my iPhone 5 11 months into the year for amazing price and the buyer was extremely happy with it as well.I hate to say it but if Apple doesn't either fire this dud CEO and put someone in that will make Apple "Apple" again, or put out a product worthy of being giddy and excited again, I'm going with a new brand.. and I would have been ready to get married at Apple I loved their products so much a year or two ago...*hey let's post about my nice wonderful fast, reliable brand new Nexus 5 smartphone running Google's mobile operating system Android 4.4.2 KitKat...in a thread about iPhone fingerprint sensor* Just seems desperately out of place to me, that's all.I can't believe there is people that despise the design of the iPhone 5S, come on the thing is absolutely beautiful, I got the silver one and it seriously is a work of art, most beautiful phone ever, In fact the beautiful design and the smoothness of IOS are the only reasons I stay faithful to the brand, that tacky 5c can't even compareThe only other thing worth mentioning is that I had a custom "uncommon" brand clear case on the phone that fit rather tightly.shoddy refurb or your "shoddy" brand new iPhone with a defect... hmmThe point is the cost for Apple to bump 16 GB to 32 GB is absurdly low and would be well worth doing just so they don't tarnish their brand when people get frustrated with their purchase later on.Brand loyalty means nothing if the product is inferior and you wouldn't get millions of people buying inferior products regardless of how and who they are marketed at.all brand new in sealed boxes just makes me wary about getting another iphone in the future which is a shame because they are lovely phones but i don't have much confidence in their build quality anymore. Conclusion: It seems that AT&T is giving the MVNO's run for their money with its AIO brand as its beating its own GoPhone plan prices and Net10 seems to have pulled a bad move with its pricing as its worse than AT&T's AIO Wireless pricesI hate buyers remorse or defective phones (my current brand new phone is defective and I have to go take it in, reason I'm switching to the iphone soon.)
water
Lol exactly... she was worried about "pock-ability" but I showed her she still had plenty of room with her 5 and it's thinner...... She's going to gush over it (need that water proof sammy now) and I believe it will fit into her pocket just fine. You seem to be missing that, rinsing out the bad water with distilled cannot make it worse. If you're lucky enough that the water sensors haven't been activated then it might be worth a trip to the Apple store to see if they can replace the phone. It's kind of funny with this water thing, I had a second gen iPod touch a few years ago and somehow I managed to render the sleep button useless from my sweat on an arm band after a run.exactly or even worse water damage you drop it in a puddle, pool, something gets spilt on it...now AC+ sounds pretty cheapAfter hearing of people having issues with the 5s I was apprehensive about it working well on the 6, but no... it's been absolutely perfect, except for times when my finger is damp with sweat or water. In every case excluding maybe a rare extremely god awful console port pc settings maxed out blow consoles out of the water, those kind of graphics are not applicable to consoles, they at aren't powerful enough, no amount of optimization will fix that.I'd do the same, but I'd need to take my meds; and if I show to the store with the meds, I'd get mugged; and if I get mugged, I'll be in even more pain without my meds; and if I'm in more pain, I get angry; and when I get angry, I deploy and take revenge; and while I take revenge, my water bottle gets blown up in the collateral; and when my water bottle gets blown up, I have to go to Japan to get a replacement. My sad effort of sucking the water out of the headphone socket was in vain :/ I took it to the genius bar and they advised me that water damage is outside of warranty (which I knew but I was trying to wing it). This latest gimmick for water resistance is rather tedious and the 'solution' of cheap flaps, which feel like you're going to break them every time you charge your phone, is awful.A few possibilities: - Defective or damaged charging circuitry - Internal damage (either factory or otherwise) causing a tear in the lining of the battery - Defective or damaged cells - Moisture or water damage causing short circuits in the wrong places, or water or moisture coming in contact with the material inside the battery somehow.
quality
Good savings, great call quality, great LTE speed...-Excellent build quality - Consistent battery life - Great performance - Almost flawless stability - Very bright display - Best app quality when compared with Android - Don't have to wait for carriers when system updates release - Excellent audio quality -Touch ID is a blessingI love it because it's ultra thin, flexible, quality and looks good!Btw this phone is awesome I switched from a Note 3 and couldn't be happier with the quality and just overall great phone this is.By the way feature wise, screen quality etc I'm pretty happy with (im a plus user).I think this turned out very well: Really happy with the quality, fantastic detail, depth of field, vibrant colours, I think its amazing.Great quality and great video.Nice video, yeah the time lapse quality is great, better than the slow motion which on mine seems off, not as sharp. The iPhone 6 and 6+ are definitely worth the upgrade and a very nice product with excellent build quality and a fantastic screen.I want them to have great sound quality, great noise cancellation to be comfortable and great bass.Or without returning and waiting it out until they become ubiquitous in stores... And being the most popular device that Apple sells, I know and have experienced quality taking the bench next to just pumping these things out, getting them in every one and their mothers' hands and making those quarterly earnings looks AMAZING, INNOVATIVE, PROMISING.It has nice build quality, feels great in your hand.I don't think it's unfair to say that 99% of iPhone users would be happy to wait an extra second if they could have the screen quality of a samsung device.Amazed by the quality compared to dedicated cameras.Software wise, hardware wise and build quality wise.. That's why I ended up with the iPhone 6+.When I brought it into the Apple Store I told them it had to be defective when manufactured because that couldn't possibly be the quality Apple designed. The woman working there was nice enough to charge us "only" the $109 they charge right now to replace the screen, even though the whole device had to be replaced.Funny thing is that the picture quality does increase tremendously when switching to black & white Again, for a smartphone the camera in the 6 is no different than previous models, it works fine so be happy with it.Gaming has always been great on my 5s, and i don't really see where they could make such a massive leap over it, like they did with the 4s over the 4.. they could up the resolution, sure.. but the quality right now still is great.I'm happy with my battery life and I need to test the camera more, but I'm quite satisfied by its quality so I'm very happy of my iPhone 6my .02$ I have the 4.7. coming from a 5s pro's Camera great Battery great screen color A+, screen coating A+, Brightness A++ Cons: camera lens pokes out imho the foot print is to big, screen size is ok but the phone as a whole feel to big for a 4.7 inch i think it's missing the apple quality design/feel.Their the first buds that truly fit comfortably in my ears, great sound quality (in my estimation) and they actually last.Astounded with the quality, very, very happy.I think Android users will be in for a really good treat with the 6 one huge thing I am excited about is apps that open a browser in the app itself and not in Safari, they will now have the same exact speed as Safari itself, Apple is extending its updated Nitro Javascript engine to all apps now, so when a app opens up a browser in the app itself, it loads just as fast as it would on Safari that will be alot faster now, im excited for that+Apple A8 speed, apps are going to get a nice speed boost display quality on the 6/6 plus is ridiculously good, full sRGB range, the viewing angles, there basically isn't any viewing angles with this screen, it really doesnt distort when you look at it from any angle only ever so slightly(15% the most) at absurd viewing angles, dual domain pixel technology is a big deal,Makes me happy to think that we can capture precious moments so readily, and with great quality as well. One thing you always can trust Apple for is an amazing quality of product, and also an amazing quality of service if something is wrong with that product.I had them for about 6 years (2003-2008), and their data was horrendous but call quality wasn't bad.I am kind of glad that the 8MP stayed... the dimensions are just fine and the file size won't increase... unlike the quality of the photos.I think that the iPhone 6 design is absolutely amazing and incredible, how thin it is and all the technology its gonna be packed in it with that build quality (aluminum/sapphire glass screen or synthetic sapphire) Thing looks absolutely beautiful if leaks are true, its gonna be a absolute joy to hold and use and look atWhile wireless phones are great for mobility, it is funny how we've gone from wired phones offering crystal clear clarity for even international calls to tolerating low quality cellular calls, not being able to make/receive calls indoors, or dead zones outside major metro areas. With the HTC One M8 you get build quality, awesome speakers and a perfect screen.- Reworked UI with trendy nonsense out and haute design in again; - Ability to choose default apps; - iCloud and Apple Maps that are at least as good as Google's services; - Some kind of widgets/dashboard/"Now" screen; - Some kind of a user-friendly take on file management; - Swype-esque keyboard; - Quality onboard speaker; - Usable iTunes sync functionality on Windows; - More wear-resistant case.Even the f/2 aperture for camera shots is really great quality for a phone camera, and looks great air played on my TV.You agree not to misuse the Service or Device, including but not limited to: (a) reselling or rebilling our Service; Now on the software side, things are even more ******... During my first 3 months of usage I had no problems with this phone, everything was fast and smooth.I had 2.3 gingerbread android phone for 18 months and while android itself was fun to use the weak hardware and lack of regular updates let the experience down considerably. So much stuff could be done even without having to root your phone. Then I switched to Lumia 520 and it was a breath of fresh air the simple yet elegant ui is great windows phone 8 is a cool ecosystem.Just this week I bought iPhone 3GS with ios 6 which is a little inferior to iphone 6 i would guess and I like the OS it's smooth and fluid and the phone is also well built although camera quality is not so good but everything else is good.So I like all 3 platforms equally well. What with a paltry 1GB of RAM and a cheap build quality, what a downer for all that money. But then again I look at my girlfriend and the way aw uses and chargers her phone (careless, whenever) and the quality of her battery life is awful. But, I'm moving to a neighborhood with horrible reception (NIMBYs have banned new towers), and supposedly the 5S/6/6+ have better quality antennas. It was so obvious because 1-4 were worse than the worst for outgoing call quality.I wish HTC would concentrate on quality as well, HTC ONE is a beautiful phone but it needs work to become better...not hardware wise, but software wise...HTC too can create a ecosystem of its own that utilizes simple things like an iCloud competitor....or even start going with Ubuntu EDGE!all brand new in sealed boxes just makes me wary about getting another iphone in the future which is a shame because they are lovely phones but i don't have much confidence in their build quality anymore.I bought my daughter a new iPod touch 5th gen today and wow it seems like a lot more quality control is going on there cuz it's flawless it's beautiful not a mark but give it a few months right lol.... yeah, two brands notorious for their quality It is THAT sound, and very picky people on forum like this call it "rattle" like it was a maracas ....Those of us who went from original iPhone to 3G or 3GS were surprised how cheap and plasticky it felt (combined with the lighter weight), along with the worse build quality. And damn, if you have a 12 track album only taking up 60MB, I feel so bad for you for the poor quality it must be in.I almost went in for the Samsung Galaxy4 when it came out because i really liked the larger screen and the android widgets..What held me back was a outright pathetic feel of the phone (I thought it was too fragile, and I hated the leather cover)...If Samsung does come out with a metal unibody for the GS5 (along with other improvements and/or additions) I see a lot of people like myself contemplating switching (even if the devise is still inferior to the ip5 in terms of build quality)...So i hope for my sake that apple comes out with a larger screen (Around 4.7-4.8 would work best for me) as I really do not want to break the apple chain (Have had every iphone till date)..
box
- not sure if that's policy, but nice of the Apple genius to declare "Cosmetic conditions: out of box" for a phone with microscratches "visible at an off angle without looking for them" and a nail-catching dent in the glass As for the added disclaimer to the thread, I know it may sound paranoid or obnoxious but you gotta draw a line somewhere, otherwise it becomes extremely hard to draw conclusions based on this kind of thread.I owned a flawless iPhone 4,iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s all perfect out the box.DISPLAY IS IMPERATIVE IMO so glad I got a rMini right away that I deemed fine enough without any swaps, and with Color Profiles (jailbroken) looks great only upgraded from iPad3 to rMini as soon as jailbreak came out, so I had out of box tweaking made possible to cool off the tint a little. They are scratch resistant, just not scratch proof, I am pretty sure "iom-strengthed glass" is just another name for Gorilla Glass i got my 6 screen covered in Ghost Armor clear screen protector....I love this screen protector, perfect cutouts, perfect size, fits the whole glass display, had a guy at the kiosk did it, no air bubbles at all anywhere, complete clean and clear installation, it is flawless and you cant even tell sometimes that there actually is a screen protector thats how well installed it was(guy at the kiosk did it, put it in a heat box, popped all remaining other air bubbles/pushed them out) I feel very safe and secure with this Ghost Armor protector lol I know it will hold up great and absorb alot of scratches over time instead of my screen Honestly , literally there is not much you can do to protect your screen without a screen protector, a OCD guy like me, where i never keep anything in my pocket with my phone but my phone, where I am always shaking off my pockets to get all lint/sand out before I put my phone in there so nothing can scratch it in my pocket, blowing on my phone sometimes throughout the day to get dust/lint off of it from my pocket, and being very careful where I place my phone (Never in a car cup holder etc) and even doing all this, all my smartphones that I had owned even with care like this, I always still end up finding micro scratches on the screen build up over the months, doesn't affect actual screen display like i dont see rainbow lines or anything like that, but still micro scratches all over the display, it is almost impossible to guard from really with no screen protector you honestly can't do nothing about it and it's not "cheap Apple" , its just not sapphire glass display lol.If you're happy with a phone that lags because of hardware OUT OF THE BOX, then fabulous.Looking forward to fancy pictures, ill be taking a picture of the box once it comes, just because the boxes always look so fancy.I started out pretty patient, it's watching premier members be prioritized over the rest of us peons and now the worldwide release of my iPhone into the hands of those waaaaaaay behind me in the queue that have simple ruined this entire process for me, because there's always been something exciting about staying up until 2 (in my case), ordering your iPhone, and anticipating its arrival when you finally open the box and see your new phone before the vast majority of the world gets so close a look, there was a reward there, a magic, and that's just gone thanks to this release!I highly recommend Ghost Armor screen protector, well at least if you have a Ghost Armor kiosk by you, they do the installation extremely well and use some type of heat box to get all the bubbles out and for the screen protector to really perfect itself And as for the protuding camera lens, i am not worried at all about getting scratched because its covered in sapphire lens, almost essentially unscratchable, its a 9 on Moh's scale out of 10(10 being diamond)I got it on my 6 and it looks terrible - it does not cover anywhere near the entire front of the phone, and the box said nothing about case friendly. Then there's the topper: "I've exchanged my iPhone 30 times because each one either had a dead pixel, was a gram lighter, had a screen too yellow/blue, the outer box had a dent in a corner, the shrink wrap has an imperfection, the moving lens elements rattle when I smack it against a hard surface, or the home button felt funny, and now Apple doesn't want to exchange it anymore. No way to make them all happy dead pixels screen to blue screen to yellow nicks in the case smells funny when I opened the box.As for OP having tiny scuffs around edges etc, Honestly having owned iPhone 5 and 5S right out of the box from Apple and gotten my iPhone 5 replaced twice (due to screen issue and because I wanted the AWS T-Mobile USA Compatible one), both my iPhone 5 replacement units along with brand new came that I originally purchased came with some tiny tiny marks on the shiny edges, but it didn't bother me because my iPhone worked perfectly and I ended selling my iPhone 5 11 months into the year for amazing price and the buyer was extremely happy with it as well. You deserve perfect cuz you paid for perfect , your not the bad guy cuz you demand your phone work , that's called taking a stand and not letting subpar quality control affect you because it shouldn't affect one of us , we as consumers should stick together on something like this and give each other the knowledge to get the job done , not doubt and call names like children Than why after 3 white box replacements through the mail with the same manager on the case did I get upgraded to a 5s white 16 gig , I'm begging people to not make statements that aren't true , if you suffer through 3 defective iphone 5 they will upgrade you to a 5s because after 3 refurbs they must give you a new device and they don't make new 5 anymore they only have refurb white box , I video tapped all 3 of my white box unboxings right from the signing to the opening and they all had scratched screens or something else and I had the proof , not only did I get upgraded I received a call from Erik from corporate who was stunned with what I went through and sent me a 32 gig iPod touch , just please stop assuming people are trying to commit fraud because we aren't , we are simply here trying to help each other get on the right path to enjoying their devices and if sharing my story and the email address of the managers that helped me gets something done for someone else and helps out one more lost person going through what I did that makes me feel great , we should all recieve perfect devices the first time and that don't happen but we have rights and should use themYes the damage isn't bad and yes over time you would probably sustain some sort of marks on the phone by yourself but the point is these things are a lot of money and should be perfect out of the box. Also wanted to point out alot of people complaining about scuffs out the box, i spoke to staff in an apple store (UK) and he said it was the case only for the first batch and considering mine was made in november and is perfect... it shouldn't put you off purchasing a great phone.. ****** the android haters :P P.S.Week 37 Factory C3 Black 16G ATT Delivered 9/21 Flawless out of box, flawless after much use.An unopened box is basically worthless except in the minds of greedy people.I've had my 6+ since launch day, Sep. 19, and I was nervous when I pre-ordered at 3 am, I was nervous when I saw all of that money leave my account, and I was nervous when I saw the huge box.As I've posted before, decide whether or not getting a replacement is worth it knowing you might get a phone with a worse screen, scratches, issues, or is bent out of the boxEspecially those ugly, bulky, nasty looking otter box cases. It's also very bad where I live (Essex) and they have given me a Home Signal box which works great but it doesn't ultimately solve the problem. That really is unbelievable for an apple product, 3 bad ones in a row Steeve Jobs most be angry lol, I really hope you get a good one because they really are good phones Call your cell compony i now Verizon over nights a replacement and you just send back the bad one with the box the new one comes inWhat make things worst, My iPhone 5 is in a return box for Apple because of a bad power button.

I have a 128gb iPhone 6+ ..no problems all the rumors(gates) floating around the internet are all BS ..my iphone hasn't bent ..my 128gb tlc hasnt died ..my screen is perfect ..I get better service than on the Note 3 bottom line is ..unless apple acknowledges the problem or someone posts substantive empirical evidence that has been repeated with the same results by another party ...then its a fake rumor you need not trouble yourself withI went into settings, safari (my phone browser), selected advanced, then website data, then remove all website data (at the bottom) and the discs went away, I don't think I lost any of my saved passwords or anything that I wanted to keep probably just cached pages to help sites load faster, but the discs annoyed me so I was happy they went away.I walked into the Samsung store at the mall yesterday and spoke with one of their "Smart People" at their "Smart People Railing" trying to replace my Note (because it had a huge gap in the bottom of it...).Length of 6+ ... it needs to be 1/4-1/2" shorter ... would be perfect... i get that we can't shorten the bottom without changing the touchid sensor in some way and i don't think Apple would like a non-equal bezel I just felt that when i was holding it 1 handed without a case i had to hold onto it tightly which didn't make for best comfort experience Do miss the screen though .... was amazing in its contrast and tonality and so sharp and battery was significantly bigger.its ios and a 5.5 screen so i am going to buy but its that damn touch id taking up so much room and apple's design to keep everything symmetrical which i like but damn look at those bezels up top and bottom!!Lots of people will comment that thinning out the sides/top & bottom looks bad... ...but that will be exactly what iP7 will do (only direction left to "shrink") Then of course, it will be "amazing design by Apple" ;-)I know SPRINT is at the bottom but I think they have been putting a lot of work in to come back and I was all over the new deal for $50/month UNLIMITED data when SPRINT came out with that for the 6/6+ Also...Im moving from a small area to a much larger market and any provider will do just fine out there so Im excited to see how great SPRINT is with all their upgradesCosmetically absolutely perfect (even more than my initial model which had an assbly dent on the top and a scratch on the bottom) and with a perfect screen without interlacing. While FEDEX is sloppy at best leaving packages without a signature claiming they have a 'signature release' nobody in my household signed a 'signature Release' Bottom Line: it's all about the Driver Like any job it's the individual doing the job that makes the experience good or bad.It was terrible idea and takes up ugly screen space on bottom might as well have a home button. The bottom line is that the iPhone 6 can be outstanding in good light but, like almost all cameras (even often DSLRs), will get at best mediocre results in low/bad light.Oh, I'm not saying it isn't awesome to use, just the dash at the sides of the bottom of the screen looks weird to me.The bottom line is if you don't like how excited we are and more excited we will be, don't open those posts.A Low Reflective Screen Mode For When You Wish To Read Ebooks On The iPhone Not as much real estate wasted on the front of the phone as current iPhones (The black part on the top and bottom of the iphone need to be much smaller, basically, almost all of the front of the phone should be the screen) It's ugly how much space/real estate is wasted on the current design of the front of the iPhone Front facing camera so that we could make videocalls, atleast while connected to Wifi N iChat Support Flash Support (I want to access hulu from my iphone damn it!)
5c
The nice thing about apple being stupid with RAM is that the 5, 5c, 5s, 6 and 6+ should all turn to **** at around the same time performance wise.well i went back to my 5C and honestly its fluid and the right size for portability I have a rMini and macbook air so apple still in my life... What I found was apple puts alot of effort into their macbooks - look at yosemite - its amazing fluid fast and runs amazingly on the macbook air, secondly ipads - these are also great for what they do just look at the new ipad air specs are amazing...Glad your happy with your 5CFunny, I purchased the 5s and a few months later the 5c and think they're both wonderful, and real, iPhones.my wife went from a 5 (same as the 5c) to a 6 and thought it was worth it and is very happy with it too.I am excited about the 5c, I think it will be a great iPhone for me.The iPhone 5c looked cheap to me but when I held it, it was fairly nice feeling. If you're the kind of person who is purchasing an iPhone 5c because its free when the iPhone 5s is $99 and iPhone 6 $199, then you're probably the kind of person who doesn't care about specs or its a phone for a teenager.Hi guys, I suppose that most of the people are excited about the new iPhone, just like me, but I just discovered a strange flashlight bug on my white 5c.I agree, i don't have any issues with ram on my 5c but If I pay a smartphone $800, it better be high tech, It's been a while since we had a ram upgrade, 2gb of lpddr4 would be awesome, more than that would be freaking wonderful hahaTwo weeks ago I got the iPhone 5C and it is a pretty great experience, and the battery is great too. It's a hard one I loved my 5 bit 5c was amazing as well feel wiseBought the 5C, lovely to use, feels great, screen, weight and feel are an improvement over my 4 never mind it being zippy quick no regrets.[QUOTE=IpadSC400;18965323]That's nothing...my dreams involve midget dwarfs and purple donuts... Glad you like the 5C now: Worthy start of a thread topic that oneI love my 5s, I cannot imagine using an iPhone without Touch ID now, but the 5c is certainly a great device and a great alternative to the 5s for people who want a different shape, a different feel, and a bit of colour. It's also worth nothing that right now performance wise, at first glance and in UI terms, there is very little between the 5s and the 5c.Fit a 2400 mah battery into the iPhone 6 and I'll be happy PLASTIC ISN'T THAT BAD Don't be afraid to design a more durable iPhone in plastic -- the 5c is actually the best iPhone to hold, while remaining sleek and beautiful with its unibody design -- there's nothing wrong with that.Personally I just don't like the 5 and 5s design at all but I upgrade every year so the 5c fit me perfecti had a iphone 4S and i this jump up too the iphone 5C it was worth it two me has the iphone 5C was a big upgrade too me overe the iphone 4S i was going too get the iphone 5S but i did not really need a iphone 5S am vary happy with my iphone 5COf course if you come across a great deal on the 5 or 5c, they're great phones too.I can't believe there is people that despise the design of the iPhone 5S, come on the thing is absolutely beautiful, I got the silver one and it seriously is a work of art, most beautiful phone ever, In fact the beautiful design and the smoothness of IOS are the only reasons I stay faithful to the brand, that tacky 5c can't even compareJust wondering if it is worth the upgrade for someone else, nothing will change my opinion on the 5c being a great phone.Maybe I am considering one as a gift...over buying the much cheaper 5c as a gift... Maybe I don't want to be cheap when giving a gift...just trying to hear from experienced 5s users so I can decide if it is worth the extra $100 as a gift for someone else. The 5C make a bold statement, though it's plastic it has a lot to offer and I kind of like that. But there is a misconception here, the truth is, hardware wise the 5s bites off more battery life than it can chew, leaving the 5c being the phone with the most impressive battery life.Same, I wouldn't say I use it for anything intensive so I think the 5C will be just great for me I usually keep my phone for 2 years so if it can last me that long I'll be well happy with it.And the 5c fits right into an iPhone 5 case, the only thing is the volume button shape which throws off an otherwise perfect fit.i still cant get over how amazing the 5c is... im sorry but im pretty sure its because ios7 is butter smooth on the 5c and the curved corners is making it amazing to hold...It would be intriguing to see what the 5c would look like if someone got brave and sanded the gloss off.I would go with a 5c to be honest, its just so nice the feel is amazing, my sister has one I'm just waiting to get mine, good luck choosingGreat post mate and im still loving mine, had a few snide comments at work about having a yellow phone but then caught the main one looking at new iphones on the web lol Still pick this thing up and love it, have gone white with 4, 4S and 5 but agree the black front totally works with the vibrant colours, white would just not give the same look im also amazed at the number of U turns from 5S back to 5C, love it, keep any more pics coming as love seeing them and it keeps this great thread going!Got a 32gb blue 5c today after taking my lumia 928 back, so far I am happy, feels good and looks great, also a fan of iOS 7, nice new look and featuresStill love my yellow 5C but my lass saying the green is just amazing after we saw it in store yesterday, very vibrant green !!It's great there are so many happy 5c owners and I like how a lot of people (like me) had every intention of buying the S until they saw / held the C in person and changed their mind!I am happy about my 5c, but I am also concerned, that the iPhone 7 will be as large and ****ing ugly as the 6.I this got the iPhone 5C wish still have ios 7.1.1 install wish am not going two upgrade to ios 7.1.2 in tell I can fined out from you guys if it's is In fact Ios 7.1.2 that's doing it to iPhone 5S then a again I could have a bad battery or bad iPhone note I live in the foothills in Sonora CA.so according to me 5s is great but 5c is also a great alternative.just wondering because i feel as though the 5c colors are horrible and childish lookingiPhone 5s honestly feels a tad boring to me, and the 5c looks awesome but with 2012 specs.I've had lots of iPods and an iPad and my phone was this cheap samsung intensity(a sliding phone...DUMB PHONE) then I got a blue 5c just a week or to ago.I was scared that the iPhone 5s would have bad battery life because I had a 5C for about a month and I'll tell you it wasn't anything like this. This phone is simply beautiful and not just hardware wise... but most importantly, it marries the software and hardware unlike ANY OTHER IPHONE ever... IOS 7 is simply created with iphone 5c in mind.Usually the "cheap"(last years) iPhone gets a 8GB version but this year with the iPhone 5C the cheap version gets 16GB standard.

leather case
With the leather Apple case it's still great to hold size wise for me, and it's grippy now.I spent a few days last week watching craigslist last week and bought a sealed iPhone 6 Plus 64GB Gray last Friday for $725.00 - Activated, went to Apple store grabbed a leather case and an extra lighting cable for use with an old iPad charger for use as my travel charger (Supposedly it charges faster with the bigger iPad charger) Anyway, if you're tired of waiting or don't want to be stuck in a contract paying way over full price for a phone, this is a great alternative.awesome, I always keep my phone in a dedicated pocket, I think with the apple leather case and applecare+, I will be fine without a screen protector awesome! The leather case is just too awesome, plus it adds a nice grip.If anyone is looking for a wallet/wristlet option for the 6+, I found that the wallet is a completely perfect fit for mine even when it's in the apple leather case. Thanks buddy for the kind reply, I totally agree with you, applying one of these films on top of this beautiful display is a bit like killing it...I think the raised lips of the leather case will be plenty for me.My 5s looks fabulous despite a lot of hard living in my pocket when I'm doing landscape/gardening work or playing with kids and dogs at the park because it's kept in a nice leather wallet case that protects it front and back. With the 5s I used Apple's leather case which I though was the ideal balance of protection vs minimal bulk, and also provided nice grip and style.never had gold before the black's always been default, but i went to the AS today and the gold with white looks awesome and in the brown leather case the little gold accent ring around the home button is fabulous.... p.s.The Apple black leather case is beautiful and feels great!Frustratingly the leather case has already arrived, I'm excited about the 4.7 screen now, defo happy with my choice of phone. She apologized profusely for me not getting my phone right away, and I kind of hemmed and hawed about them not being able to expedite the shipping without getting mean or being rude (she really was a very nice young lady; I have no idea how she sounded so enthusiastic this early in the morning), and then she finally said "But you know what I could do..." and offered me a free leather case.I'm sorry but Mary realized how much time and effort I put into getting a good phone and I could have switched to android but I stayed the coarse and now I have a new 5s and she gave me a black leather case , then after I emailed Tim cook about the ordeal Erik gustafson calls me and hooks me up with a free 32 gig iPod touch for my daughter , don't let the negative people affect you , there are good people at apple and I gave you there names and emails and you should be treated like gold now , I hope all works out buddy have a happy new year and after 7 replacements I would demand a new device and then you will get upgraded don't be afraid to ask because you have rightsI bought the official black leather case for my 5S and it was nice, really nice, but I'd sometimes take it off to use it naked, until one day I took the case off and didn't put it back on again...for about nine months.I kept my 4s naked for the full 2 years I owned it, I upgraded to a 5s and was planning on keeping it naked until I dropped it on a tennis court and scratched the side, I immediately became paranoid and went out and bought the Apple leather case, Im very happy because believe it or not the case saved my phone after being ran over by a pickup truck! Also with a leather case one handed is kind of hard, but kind of doable.Space gray looks great naked, but I put mine in Apple's blue leather case and now the whole ensemble is a boring dark monotone.Chances are that it'll be in a worse state than the 4S when I get my upgrade, just cus the apple leather case is crap and aluminium is waayyy too soft and easily deforms :L Plus I'm a bit clumsy
