Well then i stand corrected..and glad you were one of the lucky ones who got it back.....i was just going by what a retentions agent told me.....but she also told me that there is 1 spvr in charge of this plan who can also add it back.. Thats a great deal too...and comes close the 20 for 10 for the same price.......but if you dont need a ton of data then a great value is if you can get retentions to match verizons 10 gigs for price of 6 for 80 bucks...cuz you will get the 15 buck device charge with that deal too...and slap a fan discount on in and your payin about 62.50 for the data.......niceIt gets me almost 8 hours on a full charge, which is great since my 5S would be dead by 5 hours if it was lucky.Example: Old Plan 6GB Mobile Share with 2 smart phones = And I upgrade both every 2 years New Plan 10GB Mobile Share Value plan with 2 smart phones Data Charge = $100 Number of phones = 2 15*2 = $30 18.75 x 2 = $37.5 New bill evaluated cost = The question to ask is if its worth it, in this case for an extra $7.50/mo, for the new plan and extra 4GB of data. While I'm more than happy with those numbers (my 4s battery was shot and giving me 2-3 hours max just sitting on the table) I have to be honest, last charge it showed similar numbers so I left the house with 30% thinking it would be more than enough to last me while I went out for a bit and wouldn't need to charge it til I got home...phone died within 3 hours.Seriously, geniuses are usually more inclined to give attractive young female customers what they want for no charge. They sure charge a lot for literally doing NOTHING worth that kind of charge. This is obvious that no smart phone is worth for 3 days (even 2) with one full charge.Um, PhoneArena battery testing is awful and they dont even disclose how they run their tests, they are not reliable at all, Anandtech has the best real world life usage testing PhoneArena doesnt even disclose how they do their testign, they dont go at all into details, their testing is not reliable and doesnt match more then half the times with multiple other battery tests done by other websites and also reviews Anandtech is one of the most reliable, reputable non biased websites on the web, their results and testing and analysis is really almost unmatched in the industry Anand does not write any articles or post anymore on Anandtech, he has put others complelty in charge and now works basically full time at Apple, you dont just throw out years of extremely reputable fame and non bias and renown that Anandtech has built over the years with the industry, terrible damage control, its widely known now that PhoneArenas testing is flawed and that they dont even disclose their testing Lol yeah, im sure the iPhone 6 plus only gets one hour more of battery life then the 6, what a joke, nobody takes PhoneArenas testing seriously anyway, their testing is flawed they dont even disclose how they do their test I went from a 6 to a Plus and I get way more then one extra hour of battery life with my Plus What do you expect, it powers a Quad HD screen , the GPU has to push more pixels, the display is bigger and has a bigger drain on the battery, the 28nm Snapdragon 805 is not as power efficient as the 20nm Apple A8, this was pretty obvious just by looking at the specs on paperBattery life is great, but it's still nice to get a quick glimpse to see how long until I need a charge.Cycle Count: 479 Design Capacity: 1430 Full Charge Capacity: 784 Status: Success Battery Current Capacity: 60 Battery is charging: true External charge capable: false External connected: false fully charged: false gas gauge capacity: true.I had been on AT&T since 2010 and just moved to T-Mobile, as mentioned above, love the unlimited data not to mention the talk and text, my plan on AT&T used to be 450m/1000text/2gb data for a monthly charge of $75+tax and now I have unlimited data/talk/text for $30+tax (add on in a family plan) , its awesome , however the service in my home sometimes drops , when I called Customer Service I was told New Tower installation is imminent.- Manufacturing defects: bad lining/container, bad charging logic or circuitry, chemical breakdown of electrodes or charge material - Keys or other metal objects shorting contacts at the wrong place and at the wrong time - Excessive heat or voltage applied Batteries are serious business. After a while trying to understand why my fullchargecapacity was dropping like crazy(sort of 50mAh per charge), a noticed something: Batterycurrentcapacity:100 Batteryischarging:true Fullycharged:false I guess this is THE THING that is giving to the users a variety of different fullchargecapacities, my example: Cyclecount: 38 Fullchargecapacity: 1243 Batterycurrentcapacity:100 Batteryischarging:true Fullycharged:false I let my iphone plugged in to my computer, and after a while i opened the ibackupbot again, but this time something showed up differently: Cyclecount: 38 Fullchargecapacity: 1304 Batterycurrentcapacity:100 Batteryischarging:true Fullycharged:false So, I guess my advice is, if you want the app to accurately measure your fullchargecapacity, you have to wait till the batteryischarging:false and fullycharged:true.iPad 2, roughly two years old: Cycle count: 584 Design capacity: 6583 Full charge capacity: 6373 Status: Success Battery current capacity: 100% Battery is charging: False External charge capable: False External connected: True Fully charged: FalseContrary to my previous post after only 24hrs with phone and pathetic battery life.... Once fully restored, backed up on iCloud and second full charge to 100%, the current status since last full charge is: Usage: 3 hours 54 mins (approx 4 hours) Standby: 17 hours 41 mins Battery remaining: 50%.

Also works great inside and outside the Power Support Air Jacket cases, keeps them looking great.Since the 3DMARK is doing everything in its power to STRESS the device, and while watching it on my AIR was still impressive (to me) I am starting to become more confident that the PLUS will last well through two years and good enough for my third. Some kind of clever solar power built-in the screen so that the phone recharges while being used outdoor.LG made great use of the screen and smaller form by moving the power button in the back. They wanted to include a larger amount if ram but the real world cost, both monetarily and power consumption wise, was too great. You know it's funny, with the Macbook Pro line, the 15" and 17" models were always superior (higher resolution, dedicated GPU, more RAM, longer battery, etc) however people did not feel bad about getting the 13", as it was the best combo of portability and power for most. You will need to open your iPhone 5s to be able to view the volume button contacts, and slide something (I used a tiny piece of paper ) inside the gap that makes your volume keys jiggle.... You will need a pentalobular screwdriver (the one that was required to open the iPhone 5) and a suction cup (the kind that you stick on windows and mirror)... just follow the couple of steps on iFixIt website: It worked for me... you must not be scared of opening your iPhone, and be careful enough not to break any connection wires under the screen (read the above iFixIt link for more info) Unfortunately, if it's the power button you want to fix, you wont be able to do it my way My power button jiggles a tiny bit, but it's hardly noticeable... when the iphone was opened I noticed there was no way to properly see the button and gain access to itIt was a cheap eBay iPhone with no power and you're wondering if it's worth fixing. It's a great shame as everything about it was perfect, screen was good, casing had ZERO damage and the power button was nice and firm."Ultra low power consumption: IGZO can maintain the onscreen data for a certain period of time without refreshing the data, even when the current is off.Um, PhoneArena battery testing is awful and they dont even disclose how they run their tests, they are not reliable at all, Anandtech has the best real world life usage testing PhoneArena doesnt even disclose how they do their testign, they dont go at all into details, their testing is not reliable and doesnt match more then half the times with multiple other battery tests done by other websites and also reviews Anandtech is one of the most reliable, reputable non biased websites on the web, their results and testing and analysis is really almost unmatched in the industry Anand does not write any articles or post anymore on Anandtech, he has put others complelty in charge and now works basically full time at Apple, you dont just throw out years of extremely reputable fame and non bias and renown that Anandtech has built over the years with the industry, terrible damage control, its widely known now that PhoneArenas testing is flawed and that they dont even disclose their testing Lol yeah, im sure the iPhone 6 plus only gets one hour more of battery life then the 6, what a joke, nobody takes PhoneArenas testing seriously anyway, their testing is flawed they dont even disclose how they do their test I went from a 6 to a Plus and I get way more then one extra hour of battery life with my Plus What do you expect, it powers a Quad HD screen , the GPU has to push more pixels, the display is bigger and has a bigger drain on the battery, the 28nm Snapdragon 805 is not as power efficient as the 20nm Apple A8, this was pretty obvious just by looking at the specs on paperI think the Note implementation is dumb beyond dumb (though it does have the advantage in that the OLED display means the blank parts don't consume power).iOS is indeed very aggressive with suspending inactive applications (provided you don't have them refreshing in the background), but the other aspect that allows the 6 and 6 Plus to do well in real-world battery tests is the insane power efficiency of the 20nm A8.The G3's display is much dimmer, not nearly as accurate, has worse black levels, worse off-angle colors and contrast, and all the while consumes more power. Some extra features which can't take much 'processing power' at all, so I don't see why it is worth slaying speed (iPhone 4) and battery life (iPhone 5) for these quite worthless new features. And surprise, something like the incessant bitch-fest that the OP put up over a power button moving isn't normally covered.Nothing really I have my wifi and Bluetooth on, but I turned off most the the location services I don't need and left only the ones I need like camera, find my iphone etc, with everything thing on I should get close to 7-9 hours, but to be honest I mostly used it so far for normal usage, no map usage today such as Waze, it drains battery power like mad, I'll post update lasted tomorrow after using Waze to show the difference in battery power. And we've had occasional issues with the 4 and 4S's but now that the 5's are being passed around its seems like there is always someone with a bad power button or lousy battery. What make things worst, My iPhone 5 is in a return box for Apple because of a bad power button.

So I'm definitely happy they're upgrading the 32 to 64 but if the entry was 32 then that would be perfect for my iPad storage.Must be lucky, my iPad 4 and iPhone 6 plus have perfect screens. As far as the processor, I really don't mind which device has the faster processor, though it'd be nice to have those really great graphics on the Air 2, I really don't care whether my iPhone or iPad has the faster processor.out of the past few iOS devices: iPad 2 was pretty bad iPad 3/4 not bad at all iPhone 5 was awful iPhone 5S wasn't horrible unless you wanted Gold IMO, the iPhone 6 Plus availability is the worst I've seen in any iPhone release, particularly 64GB.iPad mini- perfect iPad mini retina - perfect iPad Air 2 4G - perfectReplacement ok. IPhone 3GS - perfect iPhone 4 - perfect iPhone 4 white - perfect iPhone 4s - perfect iPhone 5- perfect iPhone 5s - perfect then lost on holiday, replacement, perfect iPhone 6 Plus - perfect iPad 2 3G - perfect iPad 3 3G - perfect until about 8 months old, 1 inch line of dead pixels.I spent a few days last week watching craigslist last week and bought a sealed iPhone 6 Plus 64GB Gray last Friday for $725.00 - Activated, went to Apple store grabbed a leather case and an extra lighting cable for use with an old iPad charger for use as my travel charger (Supposedly it charges faster with the bigger iPad charger) Anyway, if you're tired of waiting or don't want to be stuck in a contract paying way over full price for a phone, this is a great alternative.well i went back to my 5C and honestly its fluid and the right size for portability I have a rMini and macbook air so apple still in my life... What I found was apple puts alot of effort into their macbooks - look at yosemite - its amazing fluid fast and runs amazingly on the macbook air, secondly ipads - these are also great for what they do just look at the new ipad air specs are amazing...I am happy to report impressive battery life since the update so it seems to be working well on my iPhone 6 iPhone 6 64GB (AT&T) // iPad Mini (Wifi) // 2013 MacBook Pro RetinaI love the camera in the 6 Plus, it is truly amazing that we have a phone camera with optical image stabilization, just amazing, You only see this kinda stuff in bigger cameras, and not in phones, that's a + for the 6+ On the other hand, I've never owned an iPad, but I always wanted one since the first one.Another contributing factor was owning an iPad mini and using that along with my iP5S sitting on my couch thinking "Wouldn't it be nice to have something bigger than my phone, smaller than the mini and still fit in my pocket..." Tastes evolve and needs change.Basically I see the ipad as a compromised experience useful when I have something to carry it around in but is still awkward to take out the laptop (basically the compromise is worth the convenience). The ads like the pencil ad if iPad Air is also awesome amazing concept in 30 seconds and ends with a joke..My iPad 4 is perfect and my old iPhone 4 is perfect (or near enough).Much better camera, better apps, seamless integration with my iPad Mini, and of course, seamless iTunes integration. But recently I stopped using one on my iPad due to the fit with my favorite keyboard.Unfortunately im rushed off my feet so much on the shop floor that I don't have time to rush back and forth my desk to use my iPad air, and it's too big to fit in my suit pocket, while the 6 Plus is big enough to do both jobs and is small enough to fit in my jacket pocket. What's important is that they were the first to make these products desirable; and the Macintosh and iPad were desirable because they were easy to use and good to look at.I have always felt like the iPad Air, while a very nice product, was a bit of a force fit between my phone and macbook. But for apps that don't, like magazines and journals, the problem is, unlike the iPad, which is more "square" and the pages of magazines fit the whole iPad screen, the narrower iPhone 6/6 Plus doesn't fill the whole screen to fit the page on most magazines and such.So we aren't trying to "fit" the 6+ into our existing workflow (like we did with the 4S->5 transition), we're supposed to adjust our workflow to fit the device (like we did when we first got an iPad, iPod or AppleTV).Take Blizzard's Hearthstone, it works great on an iPad and while they are working on an iPhone version, I think that is going to be a much different experience because the cards will necessarily have to be shrunk a lot to fit the interface.I have some great handmade bags on Etsy that I bought mainly for use with my iPad mini and I'm finding they are great to use with my new 6 Plus phone as well.I agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GBWouldn't fit in some of my pockets, looked like I had an ipad at the gym, couldn't run with it, annoying to use one handed, etc...The 6 fit perfect and is so practical, when I need a bigger screen I will whip out my iPad.I've been looking all over and can't seem to find a "smart case" (similar to Apple's iPad Mini smart case) for the iPhone 6+.As such, was thinking...it would be perfect if Apple had a smart case for the phone like it does for the iPad mini (and of course for the iPad Air).I was excited when I heard about the first iPad, but I didn't buy the first version and I'm very happy I waited.I only really use my iPad mini in bed to watch Netflix so the smart case is perfect for that. And only the note added some functionality worth of changing my mac environment (imac, MBA, ipad retina, ipod classic, iPhone 5s) I managed to integrate android almost seamlessly and discovered it is a great os and learned quite a few things.I know it'll fit in my purse since I've been able to fit both iPad and Kindle Paperwhite 2 there (I'd just need to replace the PW2 with the 6+).I've been without the iPad for 8/9 months since I gave it away and was waiting for a phablet to replace it - that meant no eBooks in bed, camping, lazing around the couch etc Since then I've missed out on loads of great reads.. sounds sad, but I love my sci-fi and fantasy and its been a good year for it And no, I won't be buying wasteful paper books in 2014 before anyone suggests it.I'm planning on selling my iPad mini Retina as soon as I get my beloved sexy iPhone 6+ Silver 128GB.I'll get the 6..it's $100 cheaper, bigger than my 5 screen, will fit in one hand, will fit in my pocket, an upgrade from my 5 camera, and I won't look foolish holding an iPad up to my ear for calls. With the 5.5 inch high resolution screen I can finally use my iPhone kind of like an old view camera, which is what I wanted to do with my iPad, but it's just too large for that kind of thing.multiple browsers will not help, your iPhone + iPad will help more, no matter what the sites all get slammed i'm so excited, my favorite part is tracking the phone, i still have links to all the air traffic controlers!!"Magical & Revolutionary" was the original iPad hype, now as sales taper off the magic has evaporated.I mean on my black iPad Air the green smart cover looks great! In the extreme, the perfect iPad would be like a sheet of paper--thin and flexible. With an iphone and ipad, I'm kind of entreched in the IOS ecosystem and for me it works great.Creative applications (motion or still editing, music making and artistry, DJs and musicians...even productivity with iWork and 'fun' with the free iLife suite, as well as Microsoft's Offoce suite) and aggregation with your Mac, iPad and other iOS devices is the compelling & reasonable argument to make the change. My current iphone size is perfect and doesn't need to be the size of my ipad that also is the perfect size, and my ipad doesn't need to be the size of my imac that also is the perfect size.iOS7 was a nice update and made the my iPhone 5 feel like a new phone again and if nothing else the iPad Air I just purchased was nice due to it's speed and screen.Dear Members I would like to upgrade my iPhone 5 64 GB to iPhone 5S I have found that since I have the iPad 128 GB, I have not used the iPhone to its full capacity I was going to get the iPhone 5S 64G but the price difference between the 16 GB and 64 model makes me think whether it is worth it As I have the iPad 128 GB , I wonder whether it would be a waste to buy the iPhone 5S 64 GB Perhaps some of you are in the same situation or gve me ideas of situations in which having both with high capacity would be useful ThanksiPhone is smaller as a matter of convenience, while iPad is regarded as a device more keen to wider experiences, as screen real estate allows for more enjoyable movies and games experience, for instance.I had my nice lovely iPad replaced under AppleCare. My iPad Air has a gorgeous screen and I think to remember that Sharp made these screens (IGZO), so I don't think Sharp made the bad iPhone screens.my ipad air has a perfect screen and I'm getting upwards of 12 hours use out of it even with some gaming, the mini retina I bought had a perfect screen and good battery life, and safari doesn't crash on me.iPhone 3G - Good deal and really practical Magic Trackpad for the Macbook Air Magic Mouse for the Macbook Air Apple Wireless Keyboard for the Macbook Air Apple Superdrive for the Macbook Air (rarely ever use it)Hi everyone , I'm here to inform you all that I've solved this problem after battling for hours , I red a lot of post on various forums and tried , changed/removed security/encryption standards , changed DNS , Tried different channels , toggled genius in privacy ... etc but none worked I have a 5 year old netgear wifi router which worked just perfect with ipad , iPhone 4 & 4s but since I got i5 , I've faced serious wifi issues like , average browsing , ultra slow app store download speeds ... for a 10mb app it took more than 15 mins to complete , on 20 MBps broadband line .. After trying every solution out there I tried my friends Belkin and Netgear N series router , and everything worked perfect @ blazing speeds on both belkin & N series, found the difference almost instantly(on all my old devices as well) .I got lucky with iPad 3 and now my iPhone 5, both good and neutral white (both were pre-ordered and received on launch day) If it looks the same as a plain white sheet of paper I'm happy, that's the extent of my "testing".I find this annoying but even worse on my iPad which so many sites automatically load as mobile site. And if i were to compare my 6 Plus (slight yellow but I can live with that as it's actually better) to my ipad mini 3, my ipad mini 3 has the worst yellow tint and it's uneven, and I gave up on replacing because ALL of them will be like this and the QC is just bad.My mom had her iPad stolen once, I activated Find my iPhone on it prior but it did practically nothing...the guy that "found it" (he's got a record so I was weary) erased the whole thing....was sketchy overall and kind of pissed me off but oh well.I returned 3 iPad Airs with yellow screens last year before getting one that I was happy with and it is not perfect - just perfect enough for me.I swapped to a note 3 then S5 worst thing i have ever done with tech, especially with a MBPr and iPad.They don't play nice together.I already gave the solution for the phone..cheap dumb phone and ipad.If you want your phone for the 2 times a month someone calls you, buy a cheap dumb phone (you can get them for free with upgrade) and buy an ipad for your data needs.Get a cheap dumb phone for your emegrency calls, and get an ipad ..voice of reasonWhat's annoying is to carry both iPad and iPhone the same time and then later on during the day leaving iPad in the car when stopped for a diner at some place and realising damn I need the bigger screen when you start browsing net and apps while waiting for food. The iPad had issues with large dispay variation, excessive heat and overall mediocre performance.as for not trying hard enough - I got up at midnight and tried for 1.5 hours on my computer, iPad and iPhone- trying and trying - refreshing and refreshing - don't see how I could have done more - you either get through or you don't - pretty simple.I was just going to suggest one that can fit an iPad Mini but that thing is beautiful.Okay, now I'm hesitant about upgrading to an iPad Air, and I'm even hesitant about getting the iPhone 6 that I preordered yesterday.I then bought a rMini, the ram/tab situation was so appalling (much worse than my old iPad 3) I went back to laptops in a big way and bought a late '13 15" rmbp.I am afraid it might be the iPad 3 of the iPhones which had a worse performance than ipad 2 due to retinaWas going to buy a 5.5 incher -expected it to be $100 more than the counter part - Check, aint mad cause its better -Was going to get 32GB for the price of $400 - Im getting an extra 32GB for the price I was gonna pay CHECK -Has better battery, screen, camera, ipad landscape - Check -Releases same day as 4.7 - Check Everything I was worried about was alleviated.I read an article that Apple products was shocking people so bad that it killed a woman and another man got shocked by an iPad and it flew him across the room! After unboxing them it was kinda weird ; the gold 5s looks fake and the white iPad looks like a toy.I enjoy Apple products, and my iPhone 5s has been great, but this smart watch race is not going to go like the iPhone, or iPad did. They will mostly likely do both, launch app and have it float in the middle of the screen with black bars surrounding and then a stretch to fill screen option like the iPad, honestly the stretch wouldn't look bad since when the iPad did it to the 3.5 inch iPhone apps it still looked ok, I doubt a .7inch increase would be horrible.iPad 2, roughly two years old: Cycle count: 584 Design capacity: 6583 Full charge capacity: 6373 Status: Success Battery current capacity: 100% Battery is charging: False External charge capable: False External connected: True Fully charged: FalseI've had lots of iPods and an iPad and my phone was this cheap samsung intensity(a sliding phone...DUMB PHONE) then I got a blue 5c just a week or to ago.I had to pop in Verizon iPad SIM into iPhone 5 to check whether my phone was bad or the SIM was bad. Both display models, gray and white, had hideous yellow screens and HORRIBLE screen interlacing compared to the iPad 3 sitting next to them. It's crazy when the ipad retina cost only $500 and the iPod touch 32GB cost only $300 The only better thing about the iPhone is the camera and the newer hardware The loan is stupid because the phone companies are greedy to charge people $80 a month for 2 years is insaneI'm nervous about cutting down the iPad sim, but this would work great for me.Actually I don't find the iPad as enjoyable anymore now.. though I can't imagine how amazing an iPad with 300+ ppi would be.

They are scratch resistant, just not scratch proof, I am pretty sure "iom-strengthed glass" is just another name for Gorilla Glass i got my 6 screen covered in Ghost Armor clear screen protector....I love this screen protector, perfect cutouts, perfect size, fits the whole glass display, had a guy at the kiosk did it, no air bubbles at all anywhere, complete clean and clear installation, it is flawless and you cant even tell sometimes that there actually is a screen protector thats how well installed it was(guy at the kiosk did it, put it in a heat box, popped all remaining other air bubbles/pushed them out) I feel very safe and secure with this Ghost Armor protector lol I know it will hold up great and absorb alot of scratches over time instead of my screen Honestly , literally there is not much you can do to protect your screen without a screen protector, a OCD guy like me, where i never keep anything in my pocket with my phone but my phone, where I am always shaking off my pockets to get all lint/sand out before I put my phone in there so nothing can scratch it in my pocket, blowing on my phone sometimes throughout the day to get dust/lint off of it from my pocket, and being very careful where I place my phone (Never in a car cup holder etc) and even doing all this, all my smartphones that I had owned even with care like this, I always still end up finding micro scratches on the screen build up over the months, doesn't affect actual screen display like i dont see rainbow lines or anything like that, but still micro scratches all over the display, it is almost impossible to guard from really with no screen protector you honestly can't do nothing about it and it's not "cheap Apple" , its just not sapphire glass display lol.The OIS is great, and I could take a video of the road in front of me in a moving car, and in the playback the road and trees and street lights were all rock steady, while the visible part of the car's hood was bouncing up and down. After completely moving away from my 5S fully, I could not see the point in going with anything smaller as it has worked out well for me at the Gym, In the car and overall in the pocket, so far it has fit very well into my dress pants, shorts and track pant pockets.would not trade it for another love the larger screen for these retired old eyes no "pocket problems" better Nav screen for the car great for videos great for surfing websites overall just a great improvement.... and I think it's interesting reading the posts that seem to think "everyone will see you have a large phone" hogwash - nobody so far has even noticed it - in the real world (outside forums) no one seems to give a damn what phone I have...LOLSure, it would be nice if the 32 GB was the base version for the same price as the 16 GB one was....just as it would be nice to get more extra options in a car for the price of the based model with no options. We all know for nationwide coverage Verizon and AT&T are the only carriers one should look for and the key word there is "Nationwide" but, where I'm T-Mobile is the best (coverage wise and cost wise) and since I'm 57 years old and use to travel with car Radio and 8-tracks I really don't mind Edge or no service while I'm driving since again the key word there is "Driving" and not playing with my phone .Either way carriers would destroy allot of their user base if they got rid of subsidizing because that would end contracts...Verizon already has that program where you essentially "lease" your phone like a car...I'm guessing the pre-paid revolution is either scaring them or costing them a little.. Another funny thing that inflates the price of a smart phone: CDMA2000 only! The beauty of a nice car is too nice to hide with crap all over it, so people don't, even if it'd "protect" it.come and take a close look my colorful cheaper phones, these are just for you.. also I have same model, no need to enter password just touch your with finger... you see.. ) i hope you forgot about big screen love.. why do you need such things, i know better then you.. this size is most ideal, just perfect.. you drive car when you use your phone, or do something when you are using your phone, it is best with only my phone ) but if you really wnat something big, I have even much bigger than what you want.Cars have some weird problems with stereo's....my dads car is horrible, if I plug my phone into the charger in his car his radio just goes out (well loud static constant), its pretty bad lol.DAMN... i walked outside today and saw my car all twisted and bent. What's annoying is to carry both iPad and iPhone the same time and then later on during the day leaving iPad in the car when stopped for a diner at some place and realising damn I need the bigger screen when you start browsing net and apps while waiting for food.No matter if it's a phone or a car... their is always faults in some(that's what you get with mass cheap Chinese production).. iOS 8.0.1 on the other hand is bad.Do you feel outraged because BMW charges so much for their cars (yeah I really do hate using the car analogy but it seems to fit). And inside a car, bad weather (lots of clouds), high buildings, tinted windows, being far away from the windscreen, possibly defective parts in the car producing electronic noise, can stop it from working. You could always charge off your laptop or worst comes to worst your car.The result of our choices are that the planet is getting worse and worse (tunas are radioactive cause of that incident in japan, most of the fish in the sea is loaded with mercury that is way higher than 50 years ago, oil gets spilled into the sea cause people want to drive car more and more so more oil has to be drilled out and it has to be done faster etc etc etc.To say you're disappointed the new iPhone doesn't have more is like saying you're disappointed with a new make of car because the tyres are the same.

Very responsive ,beautiful screen, battery life is great. It has a great size and seems awesome, with the exception of battery life, which seems to be crappy. If you dont mind the size of the Plus(which i got used to pretty quickly and dont think its that big anymore actually, and also the tapered edges and thinness makes it alot better to hold and is less cumbersome overall) The screen and battery life on the Plus is just incredibly good and really dam good, it is worth it, the extra screen size and the battery life alone makes it worth it imoBattery life is beautiful absolutel beautiful.Something about the 6 Plus that is just incredible..i just feel like i have the whole world at my finger tips...a big very beautiful into this world, and the way the space gray 6 /6plus in the front looks with the edges sloping off and like the blackness of the front display and just the way it seems to morph into the edges and kind of like consume the whole front of the device is amazing...plus ( no pun intended lmao) i love the battery life, it is absolutely incredibly good and lasts a very long time I like the 6 design better then the 5S/5 design overall.... One thing I do wish though is that i wished they made a darker model then Space Gray (like the dark slate color from the iPhon 5) , that would look even moreamazing imo.. Yeah the 6 plus may be big but it is obnoxiously big beautiful and turns heads and i have caught people just looking at my phone (and when I had a 6 i remember I had seen a few 6 Pluses in the wild in peoples hands and them using it , and me just going to my self "wow that screen does look really nice and beautiful actually") it actually is one of the reasons why i went from the 6 to the 6 Plus because of envy and also the other obvious (battery life, screen size and res, OIS )After moving from a 4s who's battery life was decimated after moving to ios7, I must say that my iOS 7.1.2, 64 gig 5s has outstanding battery life in comparison.I'm astounded that people are amazed turning off the cellular modem saves battery...I wont be buying a smart watch until these 3 things are met: Price no more than $150 Can be used with any smartphone platform Battery should last at least a week without charging I would also be interested in more smart watches like the Samsung s which don't require a smartphone but are cheaper maybe around $250 and last at least a week without charging. The leap from the 5S to the 6 didnt feel like too much of a change really at all besides few obvious welcome changes, but I have switched since to the 6 Plus from the 6, and I have to say the Plus is absolutely incredible and feels like a major big upgrade to iPhone(the screen and battery on the Plus is simply just absolutely fantastic and dramatically better then what Apple has ever offered in the past) and that going to the 6 Plus from the 6 alone feels like a awesome nice upgrade and from the 5s to the 6 Plus is defitnetly absolutely a big difference and feel and change and feels like a very awesome upgrade Keep it, by February 2015 all apps and app updates submitted have to have 64 bit support, which means 35-40% speed boost increase in apps that dont use 64 bit code (plenty to name that dont use 64 bit code yet ; Netflix, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube , Google Maps, bunch others) so roughly around 30% speed boost increase for 5S and 35-40% faster applications for 6/6 Plus for Touch ID my advice and tip to you is register your same finger twice in Touch ID, it makes it tons more accurate and much more consistent and essentially works "perfect" for me after doing this trick, try it Lastly download a good camera app like Camera+, it really does make a difference..If you are confident you installed the replacement battery correctly I would think it wouldn't really be worth your money to have repaired. The plastic cover has perfect fit & finish and crucially, not only does it allow access to the removable battery, but most people would have it covered by a case.Went from the 6 to the 6 Plus and am beyond absolutely happy and satisfied and glad that I did, no regrets at all and i am already used to the Plus now...the bigger screen and 1080p panel, the OIS, and espcially the noticeably better battery life of the Plus makes it feel like a big upgrade from past iPhones and a legit upgrade...I am absolutely in love with my Plus, if you dont mind a Note 3 sized phone/phablet , the Plus is the way to go, I promise you wont be let down The thinness and tapered edges makes this device great to hold in hand IMO, and keeps it slim and very tolerable and lighter and skinnier in pocket due to its form factor OIS is the smallest reason to upgrade to the 6 Plus, but OIS most certainly does help in low light and makes the Plus produce better images then the 6, you picked a bad few examples, OIS helps quite a bit in low light On a 6 Plus here, came from a 6 , and have noticed absolutely no difference in performance, both scream and peform blazing fast and give fantastic graphical details in games alongside with superb high frame rate, Vainglory looks and plays beyond amazing on my Plus I agree to this, 6 Plus performs just as blazing fast and stupdenously fast as the 6 I switched from which I had own for over a month and a halfThe curved glass, thin unibody metal body, gorgeous display, and amazing battery life. The 6 wasnt bad but battery life is very important to me and theres a big difference between the 2...and the screen size is awesome.-Excellent build quality - Consistent battery life - Great performance - Almost flawless stability - Very bright display - Best app quality when compared with Android - Don't have to wait for carriers when system updates release - Excellent audio quality -Touch ID is a blessingI'd like to add that the battery was great, even though the 6 is pretty much the same and the screen on the Plus was glorious. But I still get some damn nice battery life.got the 6 first, absolutely thought Id never get a phone the size of the Plus, was chirping that the 6 is the perfect size and phone, but then I started getting envious of the Plus, then i wanted to switch to the Plus and I did and i love it that much more over the 6 and im beyond happy and satisfied I switched to the Plus Love the screen and battery life tremendously, they are simply incredible on the Plus, also has OIS which is a benefit, its been about a week since I owned the Plus and I am already used to the size(granted I rock it without a case to keep it slim and light, which the thinness and weight makes it alot more tolerable to hold and feels good imo, much better feel and hold and is slimmer in hand then other phablets, I am used to the size alreadyI would be happy if they made the new phone thicker to include a bigger battery and bigger Camera lens to improve low light photos I am very happy with the current 6 design and will probably get the plus version next timeAll the things we thought the 6 would be, but wasn't: Wireless charging Waterproof Two day battery 20Mp camera Bezel-less Two gigs ram at least LED notification Durable Sapphire screen No ugly antenna bands No ugly protruding lens No bad screens escaping QC inspection Stable iOS Smooth iOS This would make a phone with paying a thousand bucks for.I have a 6 plus and it is completely smooth, (I do have Reduce Motion on though) I went from a 6 to a 6 plus and honestly i am beyond happy and satisfied and gratified and everything i switched from a 6 to a Plus, it is alot better in my eyes... the screen is incredible, the battery life is stupendous.. i just enjoy the Plus so much more then the 6, and I dont think the Plus is too big at all, its nice and thin and pretty light. The rMini is perfect for traveling I find and keeps my iPhone battery happy. Not really, alot of people actually seem to be very pleased and happy with their plus/6 battery life, me, i am getting stupendously good battery life on my Plus, literally probably double the battery life then what I would get on my GS4 easily. The battery life, camera, and that amazing screen are just beautiful.Im beyond happy i went with the 6 to the Plus, the battery life is NOTICEABLY better on the Plus and lasts really dam long, and the full HD screen is just so beautiful and spacious, these two alone are worth it and of course you also get OISBattery life of the Plus is noticeably better then the 6, I just came from a 6 to a Plus and i am getting noticeably way longer battery life on the Plus, im actually in awe and really amaZed how long this battery last on the Plus, its amazing..This, this website is superb and it helped me find a 6 Plus 64 Gb in stock right at my local Apple store, I got the 4.7 inch 6 on Launch date, and I had it for about a month, I loved it but the Plus was looking so luring and amazing once I got to play with it a few times, I was so sure at first I didnt ever want the Plus, but then I started envying it, and then My brother ended up buying this Plus at Apple and we traded my 4.7 inch i6 with Applecare + on it for a 64 gb 6 plus for me, and I honestly couldnt be anymore satisfied and happy with this, I am beyond happy I got the plus, I love this thing and Im already use to the size, the thinness of the device is truly what makes this phablet actually very tolerable imo and its very slim in the pocket, The bigger screen alongside with the stupendously good battery life alone is beyond worth it and also OIS, All other phones just feel tiny now to me hah, TLDR: switched from a 6 (never thought id get a phablet) to a Plus and i am beyond in love with this thing and i am beyond satisifed and happy i went from the 6 to the 6 PlusTo me, the 6+ has taken time to get used to and still at times can be a tad unwieldy but it's a compromise I happily make every day to get that awesome battery life and larger HD display. It's nice to hear that you have great battery after so long.people prefer ram to battery life, that's something i'd never expect.. to be honest the only thing missing from a perfect phone for me is: 2gb ram, water-resistant, improved scratch resistance, less bezels and a more efficient battery life (=> the day that the "up to" advertised numbers become standard numbers (meaning 10h = 10h, not 10h = 4h.)I would have been happy with the 64GB Gold, but the battery life was worse than I'd had with the 128GB I gave my son.I agree those plus battery screenshots do make me a bit jealous but I can't drain the 6 before I have gone to bed, so sure 2 days would be sweet but as long as I dont have to charge in a 24 hour day I am happyI am happy to report impressive battery life since the update so it seems to be working well on my iPhone 6 iPhone 6 64GB (AT&T) // iPad Mini (Wifi) // 2013 MacBook Pro RetinaBut most of users want a great display, a great camera and a great battery life.Amazing display, amazing battery life, iOS8 has mostly been fine. Also the battery life on the 6 Plus is amazing, you need to adjust some settings for optimal battery life, these links will help...I mean, the Plus is an awesome device and all, and the screen and battery are unparalleled, but I have to tell you, the size becomes a burden if you're happy with using your phone how you are now.The size is perfect, the screen is amazing, the battery lasts all day.Battery life, camera, and the biggest/best screen this side of the Galaxy Note 4 (great for GPS and games) are also some really nice things to have.Honestly, if the regular 6 had come with the same resolution and landscape capabilities and battery life, that form factor would have been preferable to me as it marries the decent screen size with portability in a more optimal way than the Plus does, at least for me.Feels great, battery can go for 2 days, takes great pictures, and the screen is awesome. The battery life has been great, the low light pictures are very impressive.I used my iphone 6 for 12 days before i returned it and went for a 6plus now here are the differences:- iPhone 6 Pros One handed use light and pocketable Cons to be honest except for the design there wasnt any difference btw 5s and 6.. battery life was almost the same n so was the display iPhone 6 plus my experience:- as i have used LG g3 and Note 3 going for a phablet wasnt a big deal for me..but to be honest this thing is big and not that much easy to carry around in your pockets but two things made me just fall in love with this beauty 1st its bigger and FULL HD display [on iphone 6 i can easily see jaggered lines on the text n Fonts but here on iphone 6 plus everything is smooth n crystal clear] second man o man the battery life is awesome and superb.. to be honest iPhone 6 plus is the real upgrade for this generation while 6 is jus OKGreat screen, great battery life and with my wallet case, I got rid of my wallet.I keep hearing about how great the battery life is, which is the thing I'm most excited for.The curved design feels fantastic, the screen size upgrades are great, the cameras have some awesome feature like slo-mo and OIS on plus, pretty great battery life, and Apple Pay sounds promising. The battery life is amazing as is the beautiful screen.Gorgeous screen and nice battery life. The big, amazing screen and battery life are worth it alone.I'm an android user and we enjoy awesome battery on android, the 5S was so bad but this I6 is a noticeable improvement. Finally i enjoy streaming videos and movies on it, surfing internet is great, it is the first time i am happy with the battery life of an iphone, ever.It has an: Awesome camera Awesome screen Awesome speaker Awesome thinness Awesome processor Awesome Touch ID Awesome design Awesome flash Awesome battery life compared to all new smart phones it just trounces them. Now I know why I tried a Nexus 5 and HTC One over the past few years The 6 Plus - awesome screen, amazing camera, and killer battery life - simply perfect (for me).The 6 is really nice because it feels like my 5s in my pocket, but I really miss the big screen and phenomenal battery life that the 6 plus had.I can read articles without eyestrain; movies our vibrant and crisp; and as a heavy user, the battery is very impressive compared to the iPhone 5 I gave up -even after the battery replacement.I feels great, the battery life is great, the screen is nice.It feels great in my hand and the screen and battery make it totally worth it.Honestly I'm amazed how great the battery life is on the 6+.I'm happy with my battery life and I need to test the camera more, but I'm quite satisfied by its quality so I'm very happy of my iPhone 6Amazing battery life since I calibrated the battery and the screen is awesome!Incredible battery life, an amazing camera, great for watching for videos, and playing games - oh and it makes phone calls too.The amazing display and the awesome battery has me sold. Also the ip6/6 Plus and their design and performance and camera and screens are just fantasic and amazing as a whole in the package , extremely top notch specs (ARMv8/64 Bit processor that is top notch performer on the market right now, extremely good front and back cameras, best LCD screens in a smartphone ever(Thats up to you if you prefer OLED over LCD or vice versa) amazing body design in my opinion, really good battery life) I love and adore the look of the new screens how they like overlap on the edges and it morphs into the edges for a nice smooth glide off feeling, (I have a Space gray iPhone 6 and I love so much how the black screen like morphs over the edges and consumes the phones front ) i think it looks much better then any phone out right nowI'm just glad the 6 Plus takes good pics, Nice large screen and an excellent battery life.Great phone hardware wise (screen, camera and battery life) but for me it is just too big a device to use, especially with a case on it.The screen really was beautiful, camera was excellent, and battery life amazing.Very nice screen and awesome battery life is a very wonderful combo.Fantastic battery life, great camera, amazing screen.Nice size, solid button feedback, Touch ID works perfect, excellent camera and solid battery life for my usage.I love the phone, light, battery is great for me (see some others have issue I am good), speed is incredible, and screen/size is great.Yeah, pretty amazing how sony can fit in a 4.6 inch screen, microSD slot, and 2600mAh battery into something the size of an iPhone 5s.Cliff Notes: Pros: Great battery life, awesome screen [reading], good camera Cons: Unusable with one-hand; (Apple) software is lacking.my .02$ I have the 4.7. coming from a 5s pro's Camera great Battery great screen color A+, screen coating A+, Brightness A++ Cons: camera lens pokes out imho the foot print is to big, screen size is ok but the phone as a whole feel to big for a 4.7 inch i think it's missing the apple quality design/feel.I'm just trying to justify in my head how it could be even near worth $750 to upgrade from my iPhone 5 and honestly I don't think it would be worth it when the one I have still has awesome battery, looks great, does what I need it to do, etc etc.Length of 6+ ... it needs to be 1/4-1/2" shorter ... would be perfect... i get that we can't shorten the bottom without changing the touchid sensor in some way and i don't think Apple would like a non-equal bezel I just felt that when i was holding it 1 handed without a case i had to hold onto it tightly which didn't make for best comfort experience Do miss the screen though .... was amazing in its contrast and tonality and so sharp and battery was significantly bigger. It is a great phone, the screen is gorgeous, and I love the battery life (over my 5s).Nice battery life, I'm pretty pleased with my 6 too!I'd hate to give up the gorgeous screen, optical image stabilizer and awesome battery life, so it's going to be a tough sell.Yes the 6+ is a beautiful device and the battery advantages is definitely appealing..I'd be happy with 12 hours of battery life with moderate use.Shocked at that thread, mines great battery wise.Keeping my 6+ When I first opened it and started to use it I thought I had made a mistake going with the Plus but after spending the day using it as am really happy I ordered the Plus The Sreen is great and the Battery life is really goodI got pretty much bored of Android, I had a rooted Galaxy S2 with Cyanogenmod in it, it wasn't a bad phone but it was annoying seeing the force closes, soft reboots, battery life issues.Camera is awesome, battery life is on point, and the screen is absolutely stunning.I'm not telling anyone what to get..based on what you use it for the 6+ will be awesome..great screen, awesome camera with the OIS, excellent battery, etc.Reviews summary: both are fantastically designed, with great cameras, brilliant screens, fast chips, and solid battery life.Apple iPhone 6 Plus PROS Large, beautiful display Great camera with optical image stabilization Long battery life Fast performance CONS NFC can only be used for mobile paymentsA great camera, a great screen, and great battery life.It must fit in my jeans as I carry my phone, basically, at all times *** Battery life is still better than on my iPhone 5, but somehow, I simply fear it won't really be an improvement Basically, I feel like the 6+ might be a bit too tall and a bit too wide to fit comfortably in my jeans. You know it's funny, with the Macbook Pro line, the 15" and 17" models were always superior (higher resolution, dedicated GPU, more RAM, longer battery, etc) however people did not feel bad about getting the 13", as it was the best combo of portability and power for most.I'm glad it's big and I'm glad the battery will last all day.Couple reasons... the rMini has the amazing Smart Cover that allows it to stand on a hotel nightstand, and the rMini's battery is way way longer and its overall screen size is almost double the real estate.. so going to keep using it as my media device :-)I just think there's something amazing about seeing the world evolve from a place where phones were huge plastic boxes that were attached to the wall with a wire and computers were the whole floor of a city block and only NASA and the IRS had them to today where we're debating whether a SIX OUNCE computer that's about 70mm thick, no bigger than a checkbook, can process MILLIONS of times more data than those old machines, is a still and video camera, a photo editor, a phone, a text messager, a Web browser, a motion sensor, a game system, includes a built in monitor, a rechargable battery that will power it all day and a high definition screen... is too big to fit in our pockets when we bend over to tie our shoes. You can get the smaller iPhone 6, but have worse battery live and a worse camera (no OIS), for 100$ less... OR bigger iPhone 6 Plus, with bigger and slightly sharper screen, noticeably better battery life, but crappier performance (especially if they keep 1gb of RAM).They could've still used more ram and give us better battery life, Lumia 1520 is a great example of having a great battery life and 2GB ram.Agreed, maybe I'll change my mind once I have one but I've tried the Galaxy Note 3 before and hated how it two-hands was an absolute requirement to function At the moment the Xperia Z3 Compact is my personal favorite device on the horizon based on its compact size for one-handed use, flagship specs (snapdragon 801, 2gb RAM, micro SD, 20mp camera) and great battery size at 2600mAh.I want to stick with Apple, but for me to do so here's what I need: - A smarter, more intuitive and forward thinking iOS 8 - A better camera with improved flash - Sapphire screen (Not a fan of screen protectors, also not a fan of scratches on my screen) - Wireless Charging (Probably the feature I want most on the next iPhone) -Better battery life (No real complaints about the battery life of my 5, but improvements can, and should, be made whenever possible) - NFC (I want to link my debit card to my phone for fast payments) - An aluminum back that doesn't scratch up so easily when using the phone without a case (The iPhone 5 is gorgeous and looks/feels best when used without a case.Apple is usually the first to popularize awesome features such as 7 hour battery life on the MacBook Air (and then to an amazing 12 hours), retina display on a laptop, Touch ID on the iPhone, etc. That phone looks great and the battery sounds amazing.I'm actually happy with the thickness of the iPhone 4S and with the the larger footprint of the iPhone 6 with the 4.7" screen, you could fit a sizeable battery into such a chassis. Two weeks ago I got the iPhone 5C and it is a pretty great experience, and the battery is great too.Google's Nexus 5 is a great little device with the best version of Android, but the battery life is atrocious.I was lucky enough to get a phone with brilliant battery life in comparison to my two prior faulty iPhone 5's (not replaced due to battery - the first due to busted speaker in the ear piece, plus dirt under camera lens, the second due to no phone functionality working at all).So I wouldn't exactly say I am excited about the iPhone 6, since I am getting one regardless, but there are 3 things that could make me excited: a 5'5" screen, considerably better battery and a better camera (which I think the 5 has a decent camera already). My battery life is related to phone/wifi signal - I can get really great battery life when I am in area with strong signal, when I am at work (mostly metal building), where the phone signal is really bad, I do not get through work day.Everything worked out eventually and I'm happy with my iPhone 5 that is working perfectly now and even has a nice new battery. It has awesome battery life and a nice sized screen. The Nexus 5 for me has been great, it was my first 4G phone (London) and signal is great, battery was a bit meh but I wiped my phone and has since doubled, the camera is good enough, the 4.2.2 update fixed the slow focusing.Battery life is magnificent, signals are excellent, and it has unique features and a very nice 3-CPU platform that makes it far snappier than higher-specced competitors.Fit a 2400 mah battery into the iPhone 6 and I'll be happy PLASTIC ISN'T THAT BAD Don't be afraid to design a more durable iPhone in plastic -- the 5c is actually the best iPhone to hold, while remaining sleek and beautiful with its unibody design -- there's nothing wrong with that.i wish they made it a bit thicker and stuck a nice battery to have some impressive battery life.I was on the T-Mobile family plan for almost 6 months, and while the price is great, customer service is great, the actual service is just ok. Too much switching of LTE to 4G in the same spot killing my battery, loss of signal even though i have 3-4 bars, and not having any of these issues on AT&T prepaid, I made the switch back as of today.Mine doesn't rattle, neither it restarts by itself, the touch id works perfectly every single time , I have no problems with signal or wifi and the battery last all day using it heavily; I wanted to change my 5s 16g for a 32g but now I'm honestly scared to see all the problems other people have with their phone, I think I got lucky, and now I won't change it.Ya, my 2nd gen iPod touch is in great condition and the battery is amazing compared to my iPod touch 4 which lasts maybe 20 minutes with brightness on high. But there is a misconception here, the truth is, hardware wise the 5s bites off more battery life than it can chew, leaving the 5c being the phone with the most impressive battery life.funny my 5s is easily amazing on battery, charge it every 2days.my ipad air has a perfect screen and I'm getting upwards of 12 hours use out of it even with some gaming, the mini retina I bought had a perfect screen and good battery life, and safari doesn't crash on me.My battery is pretty great on the 5s, amazing how long it's stand...I live in the Netherlands by the way.....Wife has iPhone 4S 16GB White iPad 2 16GB Wifi Accessories:- 2 Apple Battery Chargers - Good deal and really practical Magic Trackpad for the Macbook Air Magic Mouse for the Macbook Air Apple Wireless Keyboard for the Macbook Air Apple Superdrive for the Macbook Air (rarely ever use it)While I'm more than happy with those numbers (my 4s battery was shot and giving me 2-3 hours max just sitting on the table) I have to be honest, last charge it showed similar numbers so I left the house with 30% thinking it would be more than enough to last me while I went out for a bit and wouldn't need to charge it til I got home...phone died within 3 hours.- running IOS 6 - really great battery life, more than a days worth. You still need a flexible SoC, and a flexible battery.Great battery, Great call quality.thats amazing battery life I average 7-8 hours usage 1 day standby and i'm very happy with that.no, i am sarcastic what is funny is reading the 84 permutations of features you have to turn off to get the iphone5 battery through an entire working day epic failHowever, when I activated and tested my phone, I found the battery life to be great, and the colors of the screen are nice and vibrant.Glad to hear other 38 weekers are having great battery life I'm taking mine to Apple soon to see if I can switch mine out.Samsung G3 has a great LED and with an app called Light Flow it worked like the Berry Buzz app on the BB... but the S3 battery is terrible!3 email accounts on push moderate to heavy browsing moderate gaming LTE on all the time Love my battery life.Definitely getting worse (but not terrible) battery life out of my 5 compared to my 4 under exactly the same settings and usage.Oh I'm sorry I wasn't aware that when LTE first started rolling out that the phones that support the technology had great battery life, we're amazing thin, and the LTE network was in more than a hand full of cities.If/when 2G is working at capacity, it's actually not terrible and the battery life is great.Dear Santa Steve, For my iPhone 5 I'd like an A5 chip, a slightly updated battery, maybe a gig worth of RAM and an 8mpx camera that records 1080p.- improved battery life (charging every day after heavy use is not a problem but a tad annoying) - lighter/sturdier design - live streaming - ability to create folders for photos on the phone - ability to cut/paste photos into new folders - free navigation if it looked like this I would be pretty happyIt's kind of a tight squeeze in there to begin with so I doubt a larger battery would even fit without some mod to the back plate.A realistic look at the next iPhone from my perspective: PRIORITY Pre-installed Flash Removable battery More physical buttons for options such as profile 5.0MB camera or better Better battery life REALLY NICE TO HAVE Video conferencing and/or live streaming. If a battery is dropping 10% in 8 hours just sitting there asleep doing nothing, I'd say that's not satisfactory unless you're in an area with bad cell coverage and it's fighting to keep a signal or something.I say that because of several things: Battery life is insane Ergonomics- rounded corners make it easy to hold and it doesn't feel unwieldy at all.I just don't know if it is worth upgrading if I'm happy with my 5 as it is (aside from the terrible battery life I'm getting at this point - though I think replacement batteries can be had for pretty cheap). The 6 Plus considerably outperforms the Note 4, it gets noticeably better on screen frame rate in games and 3D applications then the Note 4(which also translate to smoother UI performance and stuff like that, there is no reason why the Note 4 stutters and lags in native phone app when scrolling and just scrolling through the home screen) There are tons of demonstrations and benchmarks that clearly show the 6 Plus is the better performer, both off screen/on screen results, it isnt a comparison Nexus 6 suffers from terribly slow read/write speeds due to the FDE in Lollipop, and also Lollipop is completly bug ridden right now You can mention Facebook as a indicator because alot of Android apps still lag and are pretty ******, alot of apps share in common with the Facebook app in terms of performance, its abysmal and sad, the worse GPU/CPU performance and worse battery life is why i went with the 6 Plus over the Note 4 You must of missed or are intentionally deluding/blocking your self out from all the real world/benchmark results that showed the 6 Plus beating the Note 4 about a month ago (Anandtech, few others reporting this ) Hey, Apple is doing something really right though if it offers better performance then the current smartphone competition right now though (better GPU/CPU performance then the 805) and also offers better battery life then current Snapdragon 805 offerings People complain about the "RAM " issue on iOS devices meanwhile Android devices with 2-3x more RAM are still reloading and refreshing applications just as much if not more then iOS devices....oh Android fans...the ironyI'm so sick of the iPhone 6 and iOS8 3rd party keyboards totally unreliable App crashes are among the worst its ever been on iOS Another phone with a home button that feels like its about to give in Restored iPhone again today (set it up as new when i 1st got the 6) but tried doing same today .... phone decides 2 hours later to start heating up drastically and chewing battery .... was depleting fast than i could charge it.Especially with how the Nexus 6 apparently has a questionable screen and meh battery life, which was my intended purchase, also availability is as bad as the iphone 6+ currently hah.Um, PhoneArena battery testing is awful and they dont even disclose how they run their tests, they are not reliable at all, Anandtech has the best real world life usage testing PhoneArena doesnt even disclose how they do their testign, they dont go at all into details, their testing is not reliable and doesnt match more then half the times with multiple other battery tests done by other websites and also reviews Anandtech is one of the most reliable, reputable non biased websites on the web, their results and testing and analysis is really almost unmatched in the industry Anand does not write any articles or post anymore on Anandtech, he has put others complelty in charge and now works basically full time at Apple, you dont just throw out years of extremely reputable fame and non bias and renown that Anandtech has built over the years with the industry, terrible damage control, its widely known now that PhoneArenas testing is flawed and that they dont even disclose their testing Lol yeah, im sure the iPhone 6 plus only gets one hour more of battery life then the 6, what a joke, nobody takes PhoneArenas testing seriously anyway, their testing is flawed they dont even disclose how they do their test I went from a 6 to a Plus and I get way more then one extra hour of battery life with my Plus What do you expect, it powers a Quad HD screen , the GPU has to push more pixels, the display is bigger and has a bigger drain on the battery, the 28nm Snapdragon 805 is not as power efficient as the 20nm Apple A8, this was pretty obvious just by looking at the specs on paperbattery is great but its not THAT great...It really is a great phone BUT the battery not so great for my needs.Reviews state unequivocally that battery life is either worse, slightly worse, or the same.On 8.0.2, I'm afraid to upgrade to 8.1 seeing the other thread where people said battery life was bad.then the bad radios and the horrible battery life and slow updates and to this day when ever we go look at phones they say don't ever listen to him he'll have u get the worst for Verizon has to offer while tellin u how awesome it is.Damn, sorry *Mods please delete this thread if you get a chance I'll take your word for it...but to play devils advocate, one could argue that the softer aluminum when hit very hard creates a sharp internal edge which could puncture the softer Li-Ion battery that apple uses where as cheap quality plastic phones with removable backplates tend to have hard plastic battery housings....I I think in this case it doesn't matter what phone the guy had, same result would have happened due to the force upon impact resulting in what you described. It is by far the worst thing I have to say about this phone, even worse than battery life.I read lots of threads about bad battery life and while I would stipulate occasionally there's probably a bad piece of hardware here or there, it's clearly not the OS or the hardware (when it's working correctly).you are right about the battery fluctuating, i have experienced that on both my macs as well i just checked my battery status, and it looks like went up from 2800 to now 2900: Battery CycleCount: 15 DesignCapacity: 2855 FullChargeCapacity: 2900 Status: Success BatteryCurrentCapacity: 24 BatteryIsCharging: true ExternalChargeCapable: false ExternalConnected: true FullyCharged: false GasGaugeCapability: true i contacted apple and they told me to do a clean install and to not use a back up files. The heat the iPhone is producing is killing the life of your battery, making it worse and worse. So the reason you rejected this picture: in favour of these two: was because the second two were close ups - not because by themselves they make it appear that relatively minor bending which probably shouldn't have hurt the battery had caused an iPhone to catch fire, as opposed to the first image which shows the damage to actually be so catastrophic that it would almost certainly have resulted in a smashed battery making leakage and ignition just about inevitable on any phone.Well I got my phone replaced on Monday so here it is: Battery (6 Plus) CycleCount: 0 DesignCapacity: 2855 FullChargeCapacity: 3000 Status: Success BatteryCurrentCapacity: 100 BatteryIsCharging: false ExternalChargeCapable: true ExternalConnected: true FullyCharged: true GasGaugeCapability: true However I kind of feel like my battery is draining for some reason.I swapped it and the new one had these weird darker blotches on top (the most annoying one was near the battery).Like I said I would have to be a pretty sad individual to fake good battery life of my phone over the internet.seems like a biased and/or ignorant view on something as basic as battery usage stats.I don't have any backlight bleeding, no dead pixels, perfect home button, good battery...a lot of which would be worse on a replacement phone.hey guys ive had my iphone 6 for a week now and i have ios 8.0.2 installed on it, and the battery life is just terrible, i have background app refresh completely off, email push is off and my email account is set to manual instead of fetch, i can't figure out why its so bad, i mean if i dont use the phone then the battery holds up i guess but if i use it to browse facebook or just play a game or whatever it is drainging really quickly.. i also have notifications turned off for nearly every app other than messages and facetime.. i cant figure out whats causing the drainage.. i have my brightness set to 1/4 of the full brightness as well so its not my brightness.CycleCount: 917 DesignCapacity: 1430 FullChargeCapacity: 900 Status: Success BatteryCurrentCapacity: 35 BatteryIsCharging: true ExternalChargeCapable: true ExternalConnected: true FullyCharged: false GasGaugeCapability: true This is the iphone 4s i got from my brother, so far the battery life has been worse than i expected (never had an iphone before) and sometimes the charging is kinda ****ed (it starts charging at 30% even though it was at 1% before) or it says its at 1% when its actually at like 15%.iOS is indeed very aggressive with suspending inactive applications (provided you don't have them refreshing in the background), but the other aspect that allows the 6 and 6 Plus to do well in real-world battery tests is the insane power efficiency of the 20nm A8.My iPhone 6's battery has been absurdly bad since getting it and it's getting worse.Until this iteration of the iPhone, display size and battery life were not as satisfactory for the amazing amount of media consumption done on a daily basis. You probably had a bad signal during class - a bad cell signal will constantly be scanning for signal and eat up more battery life. The Moto X in general was a very average phone though - bad battery life (go search forums endless complaints), bad AMOLED screen (whites are really bad and fuzzy text), and the camera was the trifecta of bad.THINGS I WONT MISS: The battery life: The battery life on a lot of android phones are generally not that great, and seeing as Samsung can't make a nice OS skin if they tried, I'm not going there. But is there REALLY anyone out there that would be disappointed in the iPhone 7 if Tim stood on stage saying, "Well folks, we didn't make it any thinner this time, it's still an AMAZING 6.0mm thick, but we did manage to give you another HALF DAY of stand by battery capacity this year!"Battery life is great, but it's still nice to get a quick glimpse to see how long until I need a charge.Horrible build quality...the chrome bezel painting is wearing off, the battery cover scratches so damn easily and the screen gets ********s of fingerprints despite having an oleophobic coating... Now on the software side, things are even more ******... During my first 3 months of usage I had no problems with this phone, everything was fast and smooth. The 5S is the ergonomic fit but the awesome battery life of the Plus is probably gonna win me over, Ill just have to learn to use two handsDont be an apple excuser, if the battery life is worse that is worse, it should be better as said by apple themselves.I usually don't mind this kind of thing because of the battery issue, but the 6 and 6 plus have great battery life so there's no more excuse to not put 2GB of RAM in it.Those complaining about horrible battery life need to wait a couple days, especially if you see the message that its still restoring Those claiming the have super duper awesome battery life are either not using their phone or are FOS.I have the 6 and I'm a bit disappointed with the battery life... Everything else is awesome but battery life needs improvementI realize I didn't start using my phone until the battery was already around 70%, and that I was more-or-less using the phone non-stop for this period of time, but this kind of battery life still seems abysmal, especially for simple tasks like web browsing, streaming music with the screen turned off, taking a few pictures, etc.To those saying to "Buy a 5s": - Worse camera for both video and picture taking - Worse processer - Worse battery life - Sharp edged design - Thicker - No NFC (Yes, ApplePay is a big deal) Those are sacrifices people will make when purchasing last year's 4" model.I know quite a few couples that have downgraded and are a lot happier for it: no longer having to deal with annoying texts, facebook requests, weird phone glitches due to overcomplicated software, much better battery life, much lower bills, etc. We'll I am using a 4 that is slower than dirt, horrible reception and bad battery..But then again I look at my girlfriend and the way aw uses and chargers her phone (careless, whenever) and the quality of her battery life is awful. The only thing that could cause that bad of battery life is if you're in an area with really bad coverage and it's doing a lot of searching\low-bar data...It's funny, I'm not knocking you for wanting that but to me that is just annoying and distracting and more of a minus than a plus (and probably something that drains a little more battery life).Too bad the battery life was absolutely horrific. The iPhone 5 has bad battery life, a craptastic cellular connection and shoddy WiFi connection...Also bad battery life, a craptastic cellular connection, and a shoddy Wi-Fi connection. My note 3 has been very problematic with apps crashing, bloatware, mysterious battery drain etc.And that same Nexus 4 had a worse camera, worse screen, worse performance (CPU and GPU), worse battery life, didn't have iMessage, didn't have apps as good as iOS, didn't have as good accessories and many more things...It would be awful b/c if you look further Verizon and T-Mo would not support VoLTE and those models would randomly have worse battery life than the ones on ATT and Sprint =DWas going to buy a 5.5 incher -expected it to be $100 more than the counter part - Check, aint mad cause its better -Was going to get 32GB for the price of $400 - Im getting an extra 32GB for the price I was gonna pay CHECK -Has better battery, screen, camera, ipad landscape - Check -Releases same day as 4.7 - Check Everything I was worried about was alleviated.Battery CycleCount: 1193 DesignCapacity: 1430 FullChargeCapacity: 1017 Status: Success BatteryCurrentCapacity: 37 BatteryIsCharging: true ExternalChargeCapable: false ExternalConnected: true FullyCharged: false GasGaugeCapability: trueIt's the same thing every time we have one of these.... Everyone gets all spun up and Apple Logos appear in their eyes....We make ludicrous posts about how Apple is the greatest and we can't wait to stand in line at 3 am to purchase it.... And then the Keynote happens and we will come back and say what an awful update that was and how underwhelmed we are by the newest Apple offerings....Then we may buy it...We may preorder it but only because the battery life sucks on the 6 month old 5S we currently have....The iPhone 6 was the first iPhone I was going to skip a case... now.. BLEH... protruding camera is so absurd.. make the damn phone thicker and add more battery.. CMON Ive!I'm sick and tired of Apple going thinner and ignoring its horrific battery life on the iPhone line.I this got the iPhone 5C wish still have ios 7.1.1 install wish am not going two upgrade to ios 7.1.2 in tell I can fined out from you guys if it's is In fact Ios 7.1.2 that's doing it to iPhone 5S then a again I could have a bad battery or bad iPhone note I live in the foothills in Sonora CA.Here are the datails direct from the ibackupbot Programm Battery CycleCount: 231 DesignCapacity: 1420 FullChargeCapacity: 1258 Status: Success BatteryCurrentCapacity: 78 BatteryIsCharging: false ExternalChargeCapable: false ExternalConnected: false FullyCharged: false GasGaugeCapability: true My Phone info iPhone 5 64GB iOS 7.1.2 Please I really have to know it!Cycle Count: 479 Design Capacity: 1430 Full Charge Capacity: 784 Status: Success Battery Current Capacity: 60 Battery is charging: true External charge capable: false External connected: false fully charged: false gas gauge capacity: true.I'm just worried about 1 1/2 years from now, the battery is going to be bad and I'll still be on contract! Some extra features which can't take much 'processing power' at all, so I don't see why it is worth slaying speed (iPhone 4) and battery life (iPhone 5) for these quite worthless new features.Worse case scenario you can buy new battery, fortunately for you it's one of the few parts that are extraordinarily easy (and cheap) to fix yourself.iPhone5s Defective Battery - Genius Bar Rejection Twice, horrible AppleCare Service *Reported all these issues, Apple is now "investigating it" Whatever means, just s slap on the wrist for them*Also, the obtrusive "your iPhone battery is at 20%" messages are super annoying. But my relatives using nexus 4 complain of bad battery life and I've read bad reviews about camera of nexus 5.I have a 5, the battery life stinks, it was not great in iOS 6 and it's worse in iOS 7.Let's say the home button is bad or battery is bad.The Verizon one will either keep searching for a cell signal (bad for battery life), or won't have functional GPS (bad if you're out hiking or camping). As well: 128 gb option 5 inch screen Thicker, with twice the battery life Other than that, hardware wise, I can't think of anything else that I really really want that apple would ever implement (SD card and removable battery come to mind as nice options, but don't see that ever happening).Could be the cause of a bad or cheap battery or so cos now I can't even turn it on the phone.Hope this helps some of you out because this battery thing had me furious and frustrated!A few possibilities: - Defective or damaged charging circuitry - Internal damage (either factory or otherwise) causing a tear in the lining of the battery - Defective or damaged cells - Moisture or water damage causing short circuits in the wrong places, or water or moisture coming in contact with the material inside the battery somehow.Yeah probably Yeah if you have a bad phone with the battery being defective you should have already gotten a call from apple telling you.For the first months since I purchase the 5s, the battery life was terrible, I've read over the net that the 3-4 hours that I got from 100%, was possible with few degrading variables such as heat, low signal strength , higher brightness, etc.If worst comes to worst just go to a 3rd party iphone repair shop and get the battery replaced there with no issues and probably cheaper too.i have been having horrible issues with my phones battery and basically i think the battery is bad which is what ever ill pay the 80 bucks and have it replaced.Samsung devices are NOTORIOUS for horrific battery life, and as someone who's owned many of them I can vouch.iPad 2, roughly two years old: Cycle count: 584 Design capacity: 6583 Full charge capacity: 6373 Status: Success Battery current capacity: 100% Battery is charging: False External charge capable: False External connected: True Fully charged: FalseEight month old iPhone 5 still on iOS 6.x and it is so erratic in how the battery drops in percentage on Apple's own battery meter to be unreliable. There are collectors for all sorts of junk... but sooner or later the battery will explode (not light on fire kind of explode just bloated and expanded) and your iPhone 2G will be worthless then. This: It would also be my LAST iDevice and also the worst digital audio player I've ever come across; poor sound, forced use of iTunes, limited to EQ presets (no 5 band EQ) and worst of all it had an absolutely MISERABLE battery.I was scared that the iPhone 5s would have bad battery life because I had a 5C for about a month and I'll tell you it wasn't anything like this. But after having two 5s phones I can say the battery on this one, with more battery saving changes made (no background apps refreshing, screen brightness down, etc), is way worse.how is it Battery CycleCount: 296 DesignCapacity: 1430 FullChargeCapacity: 1205 Status: Success BatteryCurrentCapacity: 58 BatteryIsCharging: true ExternalChargeCapable: false ExternalConnected: true FullyCharged: false GasGaugeCapability: trueThis is my usage, it looks pretty bad: Battery CycleCount: 465 DesignCapacity: 1430 FullChargeCapacity: 1056 Status: Success BatteryCurrentCapacity: 97 BatteryIsCharging: true ExternalChargeCapable: true ExternalConnected: true FullyCharged: false GasGaugeCapability: true My warranty expires on December.Battery CycleCount: 216 DesignCapacity: 1430 FullChargeCapacity: 1000 Status: Success BatteryCurrentCapacity: 84 BatteryIsCharging: true ExternalChargeCapable: true ExternalConnected: true FullyCharged: false GasGaugeCapability: true wife's 4s CycleCount: 395 DesignCapacity: 1430 FullChargeCapacity: 1352 Status: Success BatteryCurrentCapacity: 100 BatteryIsCharging: true ExternalChargeCapable: true ExternalConnected: true FullyCharged: false GasGaugeCapability: true setup a repair reservation at the apple store.Got this for my iPhone 5 (purchased at the very end of last year): Battery CycleCount: 288 DesignCapacity: 1430 FullChargeCapacity: 1354 Status: Success BatteryCurrentCapacity: 49 BatteryIsCharging: true ExternalChargeCapable: false ExternalConnected: true FullyCharged: false GasGaugeCapability: trueContrary to my previous post after only 24hrs with phone and pathetic battery life.... Got to say that I have been using Apple products since 1984 and have not gotten bad product yet, I have had a LOT of Apple products, just about every computer every iPhone every Apple TV, I have been luckyI just think there's something amazing about seeing the world evolve from a place where phones were huge plastic boxes that were attached to the wall with a wire and computers were the whole floor of a city block and only NASA and the IRS had them to today where we're debating whether a SIX OUNCE computer that's about 70mm thick, no bigger than a checkbook, can process MILLIONS of times more data than those old machines, is a still and video camera, a photo editor, a phone, a text messager, a Web browser, a motion sensor, a game system, includes a built in monitor, a rechargable battery that will power it all day and a high definition screen... is too big to fit in our pockets when we bend over to tie our shoes.Apple is amazing for creating a sophisticated computing device that's so simple even an 80 year old who has never used a computer can pick it up and be comfortable with it in no time. You agree not to misuse the Service or Device, including but not limited to: (a) reselling or rebilling our Service; (b) using the Service or Device to engage in unlawful activity, or in conduct that adversely affects our customers, employees, business, or any other person(s), or that interferes with our operations, network, reputation, or ability to provide quality service, including but not limited to the generation or dissemination of viruses, malware or "denial of service" attacks; (c) using the Service as a substitute or backup for private lines or dedicated data connections; (d) tampering with or modifying your T-Mobile Device; (e) "spamming" or engaging in other abusive or unsolicited communications, or any other mass, automated voice or data communication for commercial or marketing purposes; (f) reselling T-Mobile Devices for profit, or tampering with, reprogramming or altering T-Mobile Devices for the purpose of reselling the T-Mobile Device; (g) using the Service in connection with server devices or host computer applications, including continuous Web camera posts or broadcasts, automatic data feeds, automated machine-to-machine connections or peer-to-peer (P2P) file-sharing applications that are broadcast to multiple servers or recipients, "bots" or similar routines that could disrupt net user groups or email use by others or other applications that denigrate network capacity or functionality; (h) accessing, or attempting to access without authority, the information, accounts or devices of others, or to penetrate, or attempt to penetrate, T-Mobile's or another entity's network or systems; (i) running software or other devices that maintain continuously active Internet connections when a computer's connection would otherwise be idle, or "keep alive" functions (e.g.If it weren't for that the $40 chinese job from Australia doesn't have the kind of computer behind it to pull of the kind of tricks this phone is going to.I'd love 2GB of RAM and whenever possible I like to double up on RAM, when building PC's I've been known to ram as much RAM (pun intended) as possible...maybe in a simple minded effort to just make things "better" but I've been using my rMBP which I only got 8GB of RAM for and compared to the 16GB RAM models its not insanely different...only difference is when I start doing INSANE things in video editing, I'm not talking about transcoding high res video I'm talking about doing some crazy ****** in After Effects and making the computer hot enough to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner....I don't think their is a whole lot on the iPhone 6 you can do that can push the RAM to the limit....I mean yeah opening a zillion tabs (which I am notorious for, I always have max tabs open) is one thing but I still find my phone to respond very well...LOL the OP is angry with a computer program who is too sarcastic. But like the Best Buy method and other weird workarounds that have been working for 2+ years, they don't care or it's not worth their time to fix whatever computer code is allowing a few people to renew their unlimited data plans or add a line or 2 to their account.as for not trying hard enough - I got up at midnight and tried for 1.5 hours on my computer, iPad and iPhone- trying and trying - refreshing and refreshing - don't see how I could have done more - you either get through or you don't - pretty simple.Changing IPs is pretty easy to do When I log into my account, I DID see a few that said invalid (when I click on invalid it tells me why... "same computer").When i take a photo with the iphone it looks great on the screen but once i imported to a computer it does not look as great. After a while trying to understand why my fullchargecapacity was dropping like crazy(sort of 50mAh per charge), a noticed something: Batterycurrentcapacity:100 Batteryischarging:true Fullycharged:false I guess this is THE THING that is giving to the users a variety of different fullchargecapacities, my example: Cyclecount: 38 Fullchargecapacity: 1243 Batterycurrentcapacity:100 Batteryischarging:true Fullycharged:false I let my iphone plugged in to my computer, and after a while i opened the ibackupbot again, but this time something showed up differently: Cyclecount: 38 Fullchargecapacity: 1304 Batterycurrentcapacity:100 Batteryischarging:true Fullycharged:false So, I guess my advice is, if you want the app to accurately measure your fullchargecapacity, you have to wait till the batteryischarging:false and fullycharged:true.

The crashes, bootloops, and the really spectacular BSOD kernel panic that took ten minutes to resolve have me wistful about my lovely stable iPhone 5.Having a cell phone is why I was able to get to my gpa at the hospital in his last lucid minutes... At least it was worth the wait..Two minutes after I ordered I saw that the delivery times started going north...Funny how the frantic refreshing of different browsers at around midnight has now slowed to nonchalantly refreshing every few minutes.I am sitting there now refreshing and getting nothing ... been refreshing for 30 minutesThe guy at verizon a few days ago said that during week days I probably don't need an appointment...so I just walked in and the nice apple guy helped me out by checking me in and within 10 minutes another great guy came over to help me!Ya, my 2nd gen iPod touch is in great condition and the battery is amazing compared to my iPod touch 4 which lasts maybe 20 minutes with brightness on high.Great, so i can keep on refreshing every 30 minutes.. )never thought I would be this excited and happy to swipe my finger on a phone every few minutes.so I called I got everything I have, they took the access fee off, the 911 fee off and I kept the: 6 gig 30 27 for my phone 200 minutes unlimited incoming and after 6 2500 txt caller id visual voicemail and txt who called for 75 plus tax I didn't want to push my luck with the guy he was very nice to me as I was nice to himYes, I had dumb luck and pre-ordered from Verizon 5 minutes before they were suppose to go on sale, but I would have waited 4 to 6 weeks if I didn't get so lucky and ordered the following day.The weird thing is, turning this on and using it for more than a couple minutes, the icons on the home screen and photo displays actually kinda give me a weird case of nausea.the issue is that the phone seems to work fine for the first few times, the first 10 minutes or so, and then progressively gets worse and worse. It'll probably be a line that slowly shuffles in and out of the door, but I feel like it'd be clumsy and annoying to have to move the chair every 5 minutes as you slowly make your way in.I tried my luck and waited for 45 minutes the agent i got was pretty cool but he told there was nothing he can do about it and that all orders are getting expedited, i don't know if its true but he told me that he have received a lot of calls about from people with shipping dates November + including himself; anyway if i can get 6 plus locally at a fair price i might bite and cancel the pre-order, the sad part is my first order got cancel with a "nice" 7-10 days shipping but my new one is 3-4 weeks lol.I updated to 7.1.1 to see if it would get better or worse, and I'm losing 1% every 1-2 minutes of usage, even worse.T-Mobile is moving to the right direction but it would be great if they can offer a basic $30 plan that gives us limited minutes and Internet.Mere minutes apart... 11 min LAX vs. 17 to PDX

night
Have a great Halloween, Be safe Ryan: Happy Halloween enjoy your night!Let them do more impressive and creative things with the design as long as all I have to do is plug it in at night.Later that night (this was last Monday) I ordered my PLUS, excited and confident.Later that night (this was last Monday) I ordered my PLUS, excited and confident.8 planes landed this morning to last night....people will get phones with the next 3 days..yet they are impatient...... i got tracking yesterday, and never wavered on cancelling...if they said phones were preordered on 12th and wouldn't ship to next week we wouldn't have any problem waiting, BUT bc others have gotten theres people are flipping out...... Note- i don't have mine yet either, ...i finally got shipping yesterday...i was frustrated too, but i understood, in due time it will work out....I had been refreshing since 245am and I have been kicking myself since thursday night for not turning off wifi and going cellular to place my order cause all the refreshing locked me out.My preorder happened when Apple webservers were crashing at the iPhone5 pre-order extravaganza at 3am EST or whenever I stayed online all night to be able to order and couldn't get the damn site to load after refreshing for hours until finally I got through the checkout of the preorder.Christopher: okay great Christopher: Hope you're having a great night at work Alfonso: I am and I will have a greater night if I will be able to make you a happy customer this evening. That would be great for me, I'll be home around 5:15 give or take so if he is late and comes after that time I would be happy and would save me a trip to ups on friday night. These phones really are amazing, coming from a Blackberry Bold 9700 and it is like night and day.My co worker had a cracked screen that was so bad the glass pieces were cutting her fingers and she had scotch tape at the worst place to stop the cuts I was on eBay one night and saw a cheap screen replacement and bought it for her - replaced it at my lunch time for her while she went to get us lunch She would have never repaired it had I not done it myselfMy mom called me one night at 10:30, she woke me up, I wasn't nice (my kids don't dare wake me up - they know I'm not nice!It would make the world a better place by disabling the idiots who listen to bad music which sounds even worse through these speakers in the subway or in the streets at night or at the restaurant.Maybe this is not worth a post, but last night a funny thing happened.I've already replaced the screen myself with a cheap Chinese knockoff after shattering it one drunk night in platform heels, so I'm familiar with the guts of the thing.Annoying at night to get up and turn it off - yep I am lazyI stopped by my local wegmans last night at 9:45 and there was one lone person sitting in line at the AT&T store here... That makes panda sad.

iPad mini- perfect iPad mini retina - perfect iPad Air 2 4G - perfectwell i went back to my 5C and honestly its fluid and the right size for portability I have a rMini and macbook air so apple still in my life... What I found was apple puts alot of effort into their macbooks - look at yosemite - its amazing fluid fast and runs amazingly on the macbook air, secondly ipads - these are also great for what they do just look at the new ipad air specs are amazing...The ads like the pencil ad if iPad Air is also awesome amazing concept in 30 seconds and ends with a joke..Unfortunately im rushed off my feet so much on the shop floor that I don't have time to rush back and forth my desk to use my iPad air, and it's too big to fit in my suit pocket, while the 6 Plus is big enough to do both jobs and is small enough to fit in my jacket pocket.I have always felt like the iPad Air, while a very nice product, was a bit of a force fit between my phone and macbook. As such, was thinking...it would be perfect if Apple had a smart case for the phone like it does for the iPad mini (and of course for the iPad Air).I mean on my black iPad Air the green smart cover looks great!iOS7 was a nice update and made the my iPhone 5 feel like a new phone again and if nothing else the iPad Air I just purchased was nice due to it's speed and screen. My iPad Air has a gorgeous screen and I think to remember that Sharp made these screens (IGZO), so I don't think Sharp made the bad iPhone screens.my ipad air has a perfect screen and I'm getting upwards of 12 hours use out of it even with some gaming, the mini retina I bought had a perfect screen and good battery life, and safari doesn't crash on me.2 Mac Minis MacBook Pro 13 2011 2 Apple TV Airport Basestation Extreme Airport express iPad 2 iPad mini iPad Air 2 iPhone 5 (one for me, one for wife) Bluetooth keyboards Magic Trackpads Magic Mouse USB keyboard Numerous chargers, cables, Cool starry bras.Okay, now I'm hesitant about upgrading to an iPad Air, and I'm even hesitant about getting the iPhone 6 that I preordered yesterday.

iPad mini- perfect iPad mini retina - perfect iPad Air 2 4G - perfectI am happy to report impressive battery life since the update so it seems to be working well on my iPhone 6 iPhone 6 64GB (AT&T) // iPad Mini (Wifi) // 2013 MacBook Pro RetinaAnother contributing factor was owning an iPad mini and using that along with my iP5S sitting on my couch thinking "Wouldn't it be nice to have something bigger than my phone, smaller than the mini and still fit in my pocket..." Tastes evolve and needs change.Much better camera, better apps, seamless integration with my iPad Mini, and of course, seamless iTunes integration.I have some great handmade bags on Etsy that I bought mainly for use with my iPad mini and I'm finding they are great to use with my new 6 Plus phone as well.I agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GBI've been looking all over and can't seem to find a "smart case" (similar to Apple's iPad Mini smart case) for the iPhone 6+.As such, was thinking...it would be perfect if Apple had a smart case for the phone like it does for the iPad mini (and of course for the iPad Air).I only really use my iPad mini in bed to watch Netflix so the smart case is perfect for that.I'm planning on selling my iPad mini Retina as soon as I get my beloved sexy iPhone 6+ Silver 128GB.iPhone 3G - perfect iPhone 4 - perfect iPhone 4S - perfect iPad 1st gen. - perfect iPad 2 - perfect iPad 3 - Multiple display issues, multiple returns, sold for iPad mini iPad mini - perfect iPhone 5 - 1st one damaged, second acceptable Now this.2 Mac Minis MacBook Pro 13 2011 2 Apple TV Airport Basestation Extreme Airport express iPad 2 iPad mini iPad Air 2 iPhone 5 (one for me, one for wife) Bluetooth keyboards Magic Trackpads Magic Mouse USB keyboard Numerous chargers, cables, Cool starry bras. And if i were to compare my 6 Plus (slight yellow but I can live with that as it's actually better) to my ipad mini 3, my ipad mini 3 has the worst yellow tint and it's uneven, and I gave up on replacing because ALL of them will be like this and the QC is just bad.I was just going to suggest one that can fit an iPad Mini but that thing is beautiful.

I have a 128gb iPhone 6+ ..no problems all the rumors(gates) floating around the internet are all BS ..my iphone hasn't bent ..my 128gb tlc hasnt died ..my screen is perfect ..I get better service than on the Note 3 bottom line is ..unless apple acknowledges the problem or someone posts substantive empirical evidence that has been repeated with the same results by another party ...then its a fake rumor you need not trouble yourself withThere was someone here a while back who started a thread about being worried about passing out drunk at a party and someone getting into his iphone while drunk. These are all 3rd party programs that some are questionable and also unsupported by Apple and not very user friendly.I'm so sick of the iPhone 6 and iOS8 3rd party keyboards totally unreliable App crashes are among the worst its ever been on iOS Another phone with a home button that feels like its about to give in Restored iPhone again today (set it up as new when i 1st got the 6) but tried doing same today .... phone decides 2 hours later to start heating up drastically and chewing battery .... was depleting fast than i could charge it.Something my note 3 never achieved, most likely due to the insane amount of 3rd party applications required just to dumb down samsungs clunky and poor written software.I would never touch a iP4 because the microphone is TERRIBLE and that is the real reason SIRI was never allowed - voice recognition was impossible with such a cheap mic - so if you actually need to be understood when talking to someone you need at least a iP4s, which had a mic system leaps and bounds better and was the first iphone that didn't make you sound like you were being choked underwater to the other party. If worst comes to worst just go to a 3rd party iphone repair shop and get the battery replaced there with no issues and probably cheaper too.
device
It would be worth it if Apple optimized iOS 8 and made it fluid and gave it more intuitive features for a larger device.Pretty nice device - let's see if it was worth the wait...Something about the 6 Plus that is just incredible..i just feel like i have the whole world at my finger tips...a big very beautiful into this world, and the way the space gray 6 /6plus in the front looks with the edges sloping off and like the blackness of the front display and just the way it seems to morph into the edges and kind of like consume the whole front of the device is amazing...plus ( no pun intended lmao) i love the battery life, it is absolutely incredibly good and lasts a very long time I like the 6 design better then the 5S/5 design overall.... One thing I do wish though is that i wished they made a darker model then Space Gray (like the dark slate color from the iPhon 5) , that would look even moreamazing imo.. Yeah the 6 plus may be big but it is obnoxiously big beautiful and turns heads and i have caught people just looking at my phone (and when I had a 6 i remember I had seen a few 6 Pluses in the wild in peoples hands and them using it , and me just going to my self "wow that screen does look really nice and beautiful actually") it actually is one of the reasons why i went from the 6 to the 6 Plus because of envy and also the other obvious (battery life, screen size and res, OIS )Went from the 6 to the 6 Plus and am beyond absolutely happy and satisfied and glad that I did, no regrets at all and i am already used to the Plus now...the bigger screen and 1080p panel, the OIS, and espcially the noticeably better battery life of the Plus makes it feel like a big upgrade from past iPhones and a legit upgrade...I am absolutely in love with my Plus, if you dont mind a Note 3 sized phone/phablet , the Plus is the way to go, I promise you wont be let down The thinness and tapered edges makes this device great to hold in hand IMO, and keeps it slim and very tolerable and lighter and skinnier in pocket due to its form factor OIS is the smallest reason to upgrade to the 6 Plus, but OIS most certainly does help in low light and makes the Plus produce better images then the 6, you picked a bad few examples, OIS helps quite a bit in low light On a 6 Plus here, came from a 6 , and have noticed absolutely no difference in performance, both scream and peform blazing fast and give fantastic graphical details in games alongside with superb high frame rate, Vainglory looks and plays beyond amazing on my Plus I agree to this, 6 Plus performs just as blazing fast and stupdenously fast as the 6 I switched from which I had own for over a month and a halfWell then i stand corrected..and glad you were one of the lucky ones who got it back.....i was just going by what a retentions agent told me.....but she also told me that there is 1 spvr in charge of this plan who can also add it back.. Thats a great deal too...and comes close the 20 for 10 for the same price.......but if you dont need a ton of data then a great value is if you can get retentions to match verizons 10 gigs for price of 6 for 80 bucks...cuz you will get the 15 buck device charge with that deal too...and slap a fan discount on in and your payin about 62.50 for the data.......niceThere is no phone at all out there that is 6 inches screen and smaller then the Plus Im sorry to say...and the bezels are not bad at all on the Plus, the black front and curved edges makes the screen really beautiful actually, the bezels are not bad at all, although obviously they could of made it slimmer for a overall smaller device, But the thinness of the Plus and weight makes it the easiest phablet to hold and use after a long period of time, slim fit in the pocket, and noticeably thinner then just about every phablet out thereAs far as the processor, I really don't mind which device has the faster processor, though it'd be nice to have those really great graphics on the Air 2, I really don't care whether my iPhone or iPad has the faster processor. After using my 6 plus for a while, it feels great to have a small, stylish device. This, this website is superb and it helped me find a 6 Plus 64 Gb in stock right at my local Apple store, I got the 4.7 inch 6 on Launch date, and I had it for about a month, I loved it but the Plus was looking so luring and amazing once I got to play with it a few times, I was so sure at first I didnt ever want the Plus, but then I started envying it, and then My brother ended up buying this Plus at Apple and we traded my 4.7 inch i6 with Applecare + on it for a 64 gb 6 plus for me, and I honestly couldnt be anymore satisfied and happy with this, I am beyond happy I got the plus, I love this thing and Im already use to the size, the thinness of the device is truly what makes this phablet actually very tolerable imo and its very slim in the pocket, The bigger screen alongside with the stupendously good battery life alone is beyond worth it and also OIS, All other phones just feel tiny now to me hah, TLDR: switched from a 6 (never thought id get a phablet) to a Plus and i am beyond in love with this thing and i am beyond satisifed and happy i went from the 6 to the 6 PlusIt's a wonderful, beautiful device.IF you get lucky, the blue shirt will go to his/her manager and speak about it... the manager will then come over to you and say, yes we can cancel the 2 year contract and you'll have to wait for your upgrade eligibility to kick back in, which generally takes 5-10 mins... if you cancelled twice, you're SOL as it locks the upgrade and you'll have to call AT&T and they'll have to call some other to have it restored which will take 3-5 business days... to avoid that, if you're on a family plan, I'd suggest you pre-order with another line thats not looking to upgrade right away... that way your upgrade is available right away and theres no waiting around... if you're the only line, I'd suggest you log into your AT&T mobile app and keep refreshing the upgrade eligibility page until you see it kick in... once they cancel the 2 year contract, theres an option for the NEXT or you can purchase the phone "device only" which means you pay for the phone completely, right there... again, I've experienced stores where they will flat out tell you they cant do such a thing, blah blah blah, cancelling will put the phone back into their online pre-order batch, which is BS... you just need to get lucky and have a blue shirt willing to do it for you...So I am very happy now with the 6 plus...having the chance to use the 6 made me appreciate using the 6 plus that much more, however the 6 is still a great phone..great portable device.A parting thought, the Blackberry passport is also a beautiful and well made device worth looking at for the business minded professional.I mean, the Plus is an awesome device and all, and the screen and battery are unparalleled, but I have to tell you, the size becomes a burden if you're happy with using your phone how you are now.Or without returning and waiting it out until they become ubiquitous in stores... And being the most popular device that Apple sells, I know and have experienced quality taking the bench next to just pumping these things out, getting them in every one and their mothers' hands and making those quarterly earnings looks AMAZING, INNOVATIVE, PROMISING.I don't think it's unfair to say that 99% of iPhone users would be happy to wait an extra second if they could have the screen quality of a samsung device.I also purchased a basic phone as a second line.... Later in the day i got a phone call saying my card was declined..called and approved but at that point my order was pushed further in the que... waited and waited and nothing changed... until today and kept checking this forum to see where everyone was at....and after finally waiting for so long i gave up and was LUCKY enough to find a device at a Best Buy Mobile store via: idevicechecker.com I would definetely recommend it..got there wiht no line and got my new SILVER 128 gb plus...and I decided to stay with my carrier.. ATT customer service was worthless...they didn't know what they were talking about and was always getting the run around..ontop of that the LG basic phone I ordered was in stock but they never shipped it to me and its always says backordered.....Since the 3DMARK is doing everything in its power to STRESS the device, and while watching it on my AIR was still impressive (to me) I am starting to become more confident that the PLUS will last well through two years and good enough for my third. When I brought it into the Apple Store I told them it had to be defective when manufactured because that couldn't possibly be the quality Apple designed. The woman working there was nice enough to charge us "only" the $109 they charge right now to replace the screen, even though the whole device had to be replaced. The trip is always worth it to get what you pay for which should be a device you see fit for purpose.I received my 6 on the 19th and although it is a beautiful, amazing device, I found that I was lusting after the Plus which is not normal for someone who just got a new device.Aside from the occasional minor 8.0.2 bugaboo, the device itself is beautiful and flawless, and a pleasure to use.I'm an avid reader and after trying all the iPad's and Kindle's, I think the 6+ is the perfect device for me to read on because it's always with me.So we aren't trying to "fit" the 6+ into our existing workflow (like we did with the 4S->5 transition), we're supposed to adjust our workflow to fit the device (like we did when we first got an iPad, iPod or AppleTV).I agree one size doesn't fit all for screen sizes and I think the 6 is a great device.Wow, seems like Iphone 6 Plus is having a lot of problems...I tried the Note 4 at bestbuy today and it was stunning and a wonderful device on all regards...its great that we have the choice of the two different sizes...grateful for that so now everyone can be "happy"....it's funny to me that we have android people talking smack about iPhone users and now there is the 6plus vs 6 talking smack to each other...at the end of the day you have to choice to get the device that fits your daily life and that's all that matters.Spending seventy pounds to cover a seven hundred pounds device didn't sound too bad too bad to me.So far, things I prefer about the 5.5 On-screen keyboard size The resolution of the display, fit much more on screen and photos look awesome The physical finish of the device, better than the 4.7 Stuff I prefer about the 4.7 More compact Easier one handed use Minor but noticeably better performance. After 1 week of using my 6 Plus, it has been great device and will still be a great device.Great phone hardware wise (screen, camera and battery life) but for me it is just too big a device to use, especially with a case on it.I understand you want your device to be perfect since you dropped $300+ on it and feel like you have the coolest phone on the block but let's not get feelings twisted over an inanimate object.I know that apple tested these phones 15,000 different ways, with sophisticated equipment, and are smart enough to know releasing a device that 'bent in your pocket under normal wear' would be a poor move for them, I just dont think they would do that, and I believe their testing facility is fully capable of recreating whatever circumstances alleged bender victims have hypothesized.I can see having to wear bigger pants if the phone literally doesn't fit, so that is changing your clothes for a device I guess if that's the case and you end up buying the phone, but I don't think it should bend just from being in your pants, assuming you can fit it in there obviously. The Smart Cover for iPads is such a great tool to use to prop up the device on its own so I could set it on my nightstand to watch media without needing to balance it against something. Thanks for sharing Glad you like your 6, it's an awesome device and looks beautiful.doesn't make sense to have that kind of bend on a large device, unless you are wearing a 50inch tight jeans that can fit an iphone6+ horizontally.I agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GBAgain, amazing device, just be sure it'll fit into how you use your phone.Yes the 6+ is a beautiful device and the battery advantages is definitely appealing..Now you know how it feels for all the people that always wanted a bigger screen to be more productive and use it more as a smart device and enjoy all the awesome benefits of a larger screen. To think that a device this much bigger and thinner than what people are used to won't require ANY change in handling is kind of astounding really.I bought my DSLR as a refurb and with this kind of device, it's way better to have refurb than to buy new from a shop, in addition to the great discount.Get Apple care + it's well worth the cost, any time you buy a high end phone or device getting Double the warranty and accidental damage protection is worth it.I got to do a real "test drive" on it, and although it was super impressive & the screen was awesome...I had to face the truth that it just wasn't the device for me, given a choice of the smaller version.I'd also say that, if you're not a heavy tablet user then this is the perfect device....kinda finds a happy medium.I received my 6 Plus yesterday, physically it is the most perfect apple device I have ever opened, no marks of any type at all, very happy with the assembly QC on the outer case.I'm glad some of you already have the new device, lucky you.It is the perfect size (although I do wish they cut down the bezels more and fit a 5" screen in the same size device). The plus is perfect for me as one device for all & will fit in pretty much every purse I own.If however you want the latest and greatest iPhone and your going to keep the device for a couple of years or more then it may be worth adding the extra money and getting a 6, but as I said the 5s is still a very, very capable and good phone.if i switch to some other device, it might save me money, but i would have to go through all the trial & error to find the perfect apps that i need and sometimes the accumulation of all the knowledge about my preferences is worth more than a few hundred dollars.IMO great piece of technical device, I'm glad I'm keeping it..A mentality that this device you have is expensive, precious, gorgeous, and you want to keep it that way.I'm sure it's a great device and the extra screen real estate is awesome.Couple reasons... the rMini has the amazing Smart Cover that allows it to stand on a hotel nightstand, and the rMini's battery is way way longer and its overall screen size is almost double the real estate.. so going to keep using it as my media device :-)Agreed, maybe I'll change my mind once I have one but I've tried the Galaxy Note 3 before and hated how it two-hands was an absolute requirement to function At the moment the Xperia Z3 Compact is my personal favorite device on the horizon based on its compact size for one-handed use, flagship specs (snapdragon 801, 2gb RAM, micro SD, 20mp camera) and great battery size at 2600mAh.3) The device access discounts are nice and worth it.I guarantee you'll be coming back here to these forums gushing about how beautiful the device is and how nice it feels in hand when you get yours. If you have more than 10GBs of data and just have to have the latest and greatest Apple device, then yeah it's worth it.I been dreaming of a iPhone that as thin as a iPod touch, ever since iPod touches came out i would hold them in my hand and be like wow imagine one day a iPhone becomes this thin.. That day is coming now , i know some people dont care about thinness at all and yes the device being ultra ultra thin isnt the biggest thing to a phone, but the i6 is going to be a absolute dam joy to hold in hand, feel in hand, and to just look at.That's not a bad thing though as it's a nice looking deviceI guess this signifies that I am kind of over the whole notion that the device is something precious or neat and its just a utility finally.Google's Nexus 5 is a great little device with the best version of Android, but the battery life is atrocious.Apple is amazing for creating a sophisticated computing device that's so simple even an 80 year old who has never used a computer can pick it up and be comfortable with it in no time.I love my 5s, I cannot imagine using an iPhone without Touch ID now, but the 5c is certainly a great device and a great alternative to the 5s for people who want a different shape, a different feel, and a bit of colour.Seriously, glad you are happy with whatever device you chose, but hey.. since it's an iPhone.. heck yes!To answer OP: 5S is a great device and a worthy upgrade from the 4S.But, that's just me.. and I'm happy just to have such an amazing device. You agree not to misuse the Service or Device, including but not limited to: (a) reselling or rebilling our Service; (b) using the Service or Device to engage in unlawful as a device more keen to wider experiences, as screen real estate allows for more enjoyable movies and games experience, for instance. It's an amazing device and with my 5S, I am just excited about it as I was with that first iPhone back in 2007.It's definitely worth the upgrade, and if you're not interested in a bigger screen, the 5s is a great device with Touch ID (which works great) and is probably the most future-proof iPhone released yet.You deserve perfect cuz you paid for perfect , your not the bad guy cuz you demand your phone work , that's called taking a stand and not letting subpar quality control affect you because it shouldn't affect one of us , we as consumers should stick together on something like this and give each other the knowledge to get the job done , not doubt and call names like children Than why after 3 white box replacements through the mail with the same manager on the case did I get upgraded to a 5s white 16 gig , I'm begging people to not make statements that aren't true , if you suffer through 3 defective iphone 5 they will upgrade you to a 5s because after 3 refurbs they must give you a new device and they don't make new 5 anymore they only have refurb white box , I video tapped all 3 of my white box unboxings right from the signing to the opening and they all had scratched screens or something else and I had the proof , not only did I get upgraded I received a call from Erik from corporate who was stunned with what I went through and sent me a 32 gig iPod touch , just please stop assuming people are trying to commit fraud because we aren't , we are simply here trying to help each other get on the right path to enjoying their devices and if sharing my story and the email address of the managers that helped me gets something done for someone else and helps out one more lost person going through what I did that makes me feel great , we should all recieve perfect devices the first time and that don't happen but we have rights and should use themI'm sorry but Mary realized how much time and effort I put into getting a good phone and I could have switched to android but I stayed the coarse and now I have a new 5s and she gave me a black leather case , then after I emailed Tim cook about the ordeal Erik gustafson calls me and hooks me up with a free 32 gig iPod touch for my daughter , don't let the negative people affect you , there are good people at apple and I gave you there names and emails and you should be treated like gold now , I hope all works out buddy have a happy new year and after 7 replacements I would demand a new device and then you will get upgraded don't be afraid to ask because you have rightsYour speeds are horrible, but with a LTE capable device speeds are respectable.I'll take my college degree, great job, and my great cell phone service and you can call me low end all day long, but at the end of the day (and my contract) I will have paid less for the same device you have. That said, I've loved my iP5 - LTE, the beautiful screen/color accuracy and speed of the device are wonderful.1gb of RAM in this year on a device that is this high priced is horrible, especially when the Air 2 got 2gb of RAM and the amount of apps and tabs held in the background are far more than this paltry 1gb horribleness. And my posts usually attack the iphone and apple when it comes to ram because this amount of greedy pathetic gimping of a device is disgusting and I make no attempt to disguise how much I hate this decision.watch out for "iPhone for life" if you terminate your agreement you must pay ALL future device payments and then you have to either hand them your phone or you have to take their purchase option so for example if i lease an iPhone 6 64 gb for $25 a month and i have 21 months left, i have to surrender my iPhone PLUS pay them $525 i guess the purchase option would be another $224 i am sick of people calling this deal a rental going around and making sure all the various news sites telling you how bad the iPhone 4 life program is almost as futile of trying to destroy every last copy of Star Wars the Holiday Special if i pay the future device payments plus take the purchase option, i bet i still won't get an unlockEither your device is defective or something, mine truly does run buttery smooth with Reduce Transparency on And alot of people also report they too have buttery smooth 6 pluses, stop trying to grasp at straws and claim that since one person on a forums on the internet has the issue, then all the sudden everyone has it because that is beyond from the truth Every phone has downsides, but the 6 Plus is currently the fastest phablet and smartphone really on the marke at this moment with the 6, the Snapdragon 805 is inferior to the Apple A8My 6 Plus has been absolutely amazing and I have absolutely no lag or stutter at all on my 6 Plus, your 6 Plus seems to be defective, Sounds like you might not even have a 6 Plus, why would you spend all that money when a ton of your "problems" is something you could of always seen in person hands on with the device or so (surely you tried the device out before forking over money) And Siri has been working for me 90% of the time and is light years better then what it has been, that seems to be a connection issue on your part with Siri having a response like thatyeah but that lag in your video is very serious and clearly seems to be something mechanically defective in your device if that is common, I came from a 6 to a 6 plus and the 6 plus is just as buttery smooth fast as the 6 that i came from, with no lag or stutters for me ever I also have TLC nand memory, which is suppose to be the worse NAND that causes some people issues but i myself have had no issues at all with it Try a hard reset (home and lock button until screen turns off completely) and also try turning on Reduce transparency in accessbility in general in settingsyeah but that lag in As bizarre as it may sound, it appears that some people may have been ashamed of the capacity of their deviceFor some reason I always think its really sad when I see such a beautifully designed device that is as large as a tablet/phablet but only 16GB...your going to be constantly clearing room....do yourself a favor because in the long run it will help and you might regret it far after the 14 or 30 days you get it...so many people I know regret getting the 16GB model....I feel almost bad!Weird, how the CEO uses a inferior device with a case on it.I seriously think Apple just posts fake stock for bots to try and buy like someone else said.. Because I was waiting for that and I even checked the stock on another device on apple's website a second before I pressed buy and it said available and then after I tried and got the error it immediately switched to unavailable... Like they just post one to trick bots into trying to buy it quickly for someone and it automatically fails on purpose and the stock is gone.. Apple please stop fake stocking your storesAnd since it's a rather expensive device, their angry opinions damn well better be heard.Well right, I agree the 6+ is the inferior device for bending too, but that means absolutely NOTHING with regards to whether the bending issue is any worse than any other phone on the market (besides the 6 of course, but even that is arguable based on testing).I really wanted one for my personal device, but I do way too much one handed work I was afraid I would get too frustrated. This happens every time a new device comes out and the same dishonest people will always be dishonest.Needless to say each time I attempted to use an Android device I found it frustrating and sloppy compared to iOS and always went back.I was afraid I would drop it, due to not being used to moving around with a bigger device.I was a bit frustrated so maybe the title of the thread could have been better but its truly amazing to me how most people on this forum get so ******** over mentioning a competitor device.A rate of up to 2% of new devices shipping with a defect is not uncommon with consumer electronics, and it just seems worse with an Apple device because the immense volume of sales means that a larger number of people will inevitably receive a defective unit.Just because someone points out flaws in a device doesn't make them jealous lol... by your logic, Apple fanboys are all jealous of Samsung's plastic phones.Like the argument that Apple is evil and the workers in china all die etc.. Those ppl did obviously not understand that the lithium for every houshold device is harvested from poor african childs in lithium mines and most of them die or get serious lung problems but thats ok, because the real evil are the apple factories which means foxconn and those factories actually produce for alot of companies, not only apple. This one doesn't have a fault either......it's just pathetic Internet trolling that a very very few minority of people have suffered, in which most of them will have suffered due to misuse......it's as simple as that......and if you haven't bought one yet, then simply don't buy one if you're that worried......I have bought one, I'm treating it like the respect it deserves for being such an expensive device......if you can't handle such a big phone in your lifestyle, don't buy it, simple as that......I guarantee they will still sell more phones than anyone else this year, and I know it's not about sales, it's about customer satisfaction......and as i said, a few moaning idiots on here doesn't show the majority vote here......people who have no issues will not bother coming here, they will simply be enjoying their device and getting on with their lives.....something I wish all the moaners would do instead of just crying about issues that don't exist if you treat things properly. My mom couldn't fit the Plus in a lot of her pants and my dad's hand got tired using the device. Then it shouldn't be new to you either that sitting with a cell phone in a tight pants pocket can subject your expensive device to undue stresses at best, and damage at worst.+ is an appealing device, however I personally feel it looks a bit obnoxious when up against my head on a call. Please be honest not just excited about your new device.Indeed, no device is perfect and I'm extremely wary of jumping from the frying pan into the fire so to speak.I figured something was up, so I did a mock edge upgrade, only to find my account locked for upgrading because my MEID didn't match the one on my agreement (my device had been replaced with Asurion and they gave me this awful S4 instead of a Moto X, unless I wanted to wait a month to get a functioning phone). The screen size might be amazing to use but when you have to carry the device in jeans/trouser pockets and often find yourself needing to use it one handed on public transport, it is totally impractical for some people.Trying to ascribe bad motives to whoever had the device blacklisted is just sick, and it's wrong, and it's a pathetic whiny excuse to avoid doing the right thing and turning it in to the police.Especially, since every Android device I've ever used has felt awkward and clumsy by comparison. They replaced a defective device with a defective device. What's ironic is that, because of the original iPhone with no 3G, AT&T had to spend months backfitting their system for a higher speed EDGE so the new Apple device wouldn't look pitiful running at 59 Kbps.If the phablet hasn't developed into a great device by the launch for iPhone 6, I don't think they will jeopardize the iPhone 6 hype by releasing a mediocre phablet. To me its not worth it cause its nice to pay $199 or $150 for a new device instead of $650.Always ask the buyer to bring a SIM so that both parties can verify the device fully functioning [Note: Scammers usually don't sit to inspect the device nor bring SIM cards to test devices] Additional Notes: - eBay buyers can open a dispute against the seller up to 30days after the purchase and correct me If I'm wrong, Paypal direct sales can be disputed against up to 45days === DO NOT SELL YOUR iDEVICES DIRECTLY VIA PAYPAL, NO MATTER HOW NICE OR CONVINCING THE BUYER MAY BE, YOUR PROTECTION LEVEL IS LOWER vs having eBay on board.Old device worst case: (0 + 20mg) and (1g - 20mg) New device worst case (0 + 95mg) and (1g - 95mg) Old worst case inclination: atan(20/980) = 1.16 degrees New worst case inclination: atan(95/905) = 5.99 degrees So I think we've found our culprit.Yes, I'm absolutely concerned about these things... but for the purposes of this thread, I for one am more gobsmacked that of all of these other things that the OP should be worried about, he instead has chosen to fixate on a rather absurd one: he wants to disable the fingerprint reader on a device which can be used to collect insidious data, and buying said device - the option which is most effective - is an option he finds acceptable. That looks stunning The only thing I don't like is the home button put on the frame, thats so android like and I never liked it on my friends device but the rest looks great & I also like the light up Apple Logo but that would be replaced by the home button again, maybe the lil square lines of that button could light up when I get a notification, I would welcome it...otherwise it depresses me that we all have so many wonderful ideas but we all know that Apple will never implement them into the final productThere could very well be bad publicity for Apple, they will be releasing a product which is somewhat defective right when you turn it on..... Sure Apple has alot of people who will still buy the device regardless of how many probs the thing has, but then you have people who will come after Apple just like they would any other company who releases a broken product and does nothing to fix it.

box
- not sure if that's policy, but nice of the Apple genius to declare "Cosmetic conditions: out of box" for a phone with microscratches "visible at an off angle without looking for them" and a nail-catching dent in the glass As for the added disclaimer to the thread, I know it may sound paranoid or obnoxious but you gotta draw a line somewhere, otherwise it becomes extremely hard to draw conclusions based on this kind of thread.I owned a flawless iPhone 4,iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s all perfect out the box.DISPLAY IS IMPERATIVE IMO so glad I got a rMini right away that I deemed fine enough without any swaps, and with Color Profiles (jailbroken) looks great only upgraded from iPad3 to rMini as soon as jailbreak came out, so I had out of box tweaking made possible to cool off the tint a little. They are scratch resistant, just not scratch proof, I am pretty sure "iom-strengthed glass" is just another name for Gorilla Glass i got my 6 screen covered in Ghost Armor clear screen protector....I love this screen protector, perfect cutouts, perfect size, fits the whole glass display, had a guy at the kiosk did it, no air bubbles at all anywhere, complete clean and clear installation, it is flawless and you cant even tell sometimes that there actually is a screen protector thats how well installed it was(guy at the kiosk did it, put it in a heat box, popped all remaining other air bubbles/pushed them out) I feel very safe and secure with this Ghost Armor protector lol I know it will hold up great and absorb alot of scratches over time instead of my screen Honestly , literally there is not much you can do to protect your screen without a screen protector, a OCD guy like me, where i never keep anything in my pocket with my phone but my phone, where I am always shaking off my pockets to get all lint/sand out before I put my phone in there so nothing can scratch it in my pocket, blowing on my phone sometimes throughout the day to get dust/lint off of it from my pocket, and being very careful where I place my phone (Never in a car cup holder etc) and even doing all this, all my smartphones that I had owned even with care like this, I always still end up finding micro scratches on the screen build up over the months, doesn't affect actual screen display like i dont see rainbow lines or anything like that, but still micro scratches all over the display, it is almost impossible to guard from really with no screen protector you honestly can't do nothing about it and it's not "cheap Apple" , its just not sapphire glass display lol.If you're happy with a phone that lags because of hardware OUT OF THE BOX, then fabulous.Looking forward to fancy pictures, ill be taking a picture of the box once it comes, just because the boxes always look so fancy.I started out pretty patient, it's watching premier members be prioritized over the rest of us peons and now the worldwide release of my iPhone into the hands of those waaaaaaay behind me in the queue that have simple ruined this entire process for me, because there's always been something exciting about staying up until 2 (in my case), ordering your iPhone, and anticipating its arrival when you finally open the box and see your new phone before the vast majority of the world gets so close a look, there was a reward there, a magic, and that's just gone thanks to this release!I highly recommend Ghost Armor screen protector, well at least if you have a Ghost Armor kiosk by you, they do the installation extremely well and use some type of heat box to get all the bubbles out and for the screen protector to really perfect itself And as for the protuding camera lens, i am not worried at all about getting scratched because its covered in sapphire lens, almost essentially unscratchable, its a 9 on Moh's scale out of 10(10 being diamond)I got it on my 6 and it looks terrible - it does not cover anywhere near the entire front of the phone, and the box said nothing about case friendly. Then there's the topper: "I've exchanged my iPhone 30 times because each one either had a dead pixel, was a gram lighter, had a screen too yellow/blue, the outer box had a dent in a corner, the shrink wrap has an imperfection, the moving lens elements rattle when I smack it against a hard surface, or the home button felt funny, and now Apple doesn't want to exchange it anymore. No way to make them all happy dead pixels screen to blue screen to yellow nicks in the case smells funny when I opened the box.As for OP having tiny scuffs around edges etc, Honestly having owned iPhone 5 and 5S right out of the box from Apple and gotten my iPhone 5 replaced twice (due to screen issue and because I wanted the AWS T-Mobile USA Compatible one), both my iPhone 5 replacement units along with brand new came that I originally purchased came with some tiny tiny marks on the shiny edges, but it didn't bother me because my iPhone worked perfectly and I ended selling my iPhone 5 11 months into the year for amazing price and the buyer was extremely happy with it as well. You deserve perfect cuz you paid for perfect , your not the bad guy cuz you demand your phone work , that's called taking a stand and not letting subpar quality control affect you because it shouldn't affect one of us , we as consumers should stick together on something like this and give each other the knowledge to get the job done , not doubt and call names like children Than why after 3 white box replacements through the mail with the same manager on the case did I get upgraded to a 5s white 16 gig , I'm begging people to not make statements that aren't true , if you suffer through 3 defective iphone 5 they will upgrade you to a 5s because after 3 refurbs they must give you a new device and they don't make new 5 anymore they only have refurb white box , I video tapped all 3 of my white box unboxings right from the signing to the opening and they all had scratched screens or something else and I had the proof , not only did I get upgraded I received a call from Erik from corporate who was stunned with what I went through and sent me a 32 gig iPod touch , just please stop assuming people are trying to commit fraud because we aren't , we are simply here trying to help each other get on the right path to enjoying their devices and if sharing my story and the email address of the managers that helped me gets something done for someone else and helps out one more lost person going through what I did that makes me feel great , we should all recieve perfect devices the first time and that don't happen but we have rights and should use themYes the damage isn't bad and yes over time you would probably sustain some sort of marks on the phone by yourself but the point is these things are a lot of money and should be perfect out of the box. Also wanted to point out alot of people complaining about scuffs out the box, i spoke to staff in an apple store (UK) and he said it was the case only for the first batch and considering mine was made in november and is perfect... it shouldn't put you off purchasing a great phone.. ****** the android haters :P P.S.Week 37 Factory C3 Black 16G ATT Delivered 9/21 Flawless out of box, flawless after much use.An unopened box is basically worthless except in the minds of greedy people.I've had my 6+ since launch day, Sep. 19, and I was nervous when I pre-ordered at 3 am, I was nervous when I saw all of that money leave my account, and I was nervous when I saw the huge box.As I've posted before, decide whether or not getting a replacement is worth it knowing you might get a phone with a worse screen, scratches, issues, or is bent out of the boxEspecially those ugly, bulky, nasty looking otter box cases. It's also very bad where I live (Essex) and they have given me a Home Signal box which works great but it doesn't ultimately solve the problem. That really is unbelievable for an apple product, 3 bad ones in a row Steeve Jobs most be angry lol, I really hope you get a good one because they really are good phones Call your cell compony i now Verizon over nights a replacement and you just send back the bad one with the box the new one comes inWhat make things worst, My iPhone 5 is in a return box for Apple because of a bad power button.

I would be happy if they made the new phone thicker to include a bigger battery and bigger Camera lens to improve low light photos I am very happy with the current 6 design and will probably get the plus version next timeThis, this website is superb and it helped me find a 6 Plus 64 Gb in stock right at my local Apple store, I got the 4.7 inch 6 on Launch date, and I had it for about a month, I loved it but the Plus was looking so luring and amazing once I got to play with it a few times, I was so sure at first I didnt ever want the Plus, but then I started envying it, and then My brother ended up buying this Plus at Apple and we traded my 4.7 inch i6 with Applecare + on it for a 64 gb 6 plus for me, and I honestly couldnt be anymore satisfied and happy with this, I am beyond happy I got the plus, I love this thing and Im already use to the size, the thinness of the device is truly what makes this phablet actually very tolerable imo and its very slim in the pocket, The bigger screen alongside with the stupendously good battery life alone is beyond worth it and also OIS, All other phones just feel tiny now to me hah, TLDR: switched from a 6 (never thought id get a phablet) to a Plus and i am beyond in love with this thing and i am beyond satisifed and happy i went from the 6 to the 6 PlusYou can get the smaller iPhone 6, but have worse battery live and a worse camera (no OIS), for 100$ less... OR bigger iPhone 6 Plus, with bigger and slightly sharper screen, noticeably better battery life, but crappier performance (especially if they keep 1gb of RAM).Um, PhoneArena battery testing is awful and they dont even disclose how they run their tests, they are not reliable at all, Anandtech has the best real world life usage testing PhoneArena doesnt even disclose how they do their testign, they dont go at all into details, their testing is not reliable and doesnt match more then half the times with multiple other battery tests done by other websites and also reviews Anandtech is one of the most reliable, reputable non biased websites on the web, their results and testing and analysis is really almost unmatched in the industry Anand does not write any articles or post anymore on Anandtech, he has put others complelty in charge and now works basically full time at Apple, you dont just throw out years of extremely reputable fame and non bias and renown that Anandtech has built over the years with the industry, terrible damage control, its widely known now that PhoneArenas testing is flawed and that they dont even disclose their testing Lol yeah, im sure the iPhone 6 plus only gets one hour more of battery life then the 6, what a joke, nobody takes PhoneArenas testing seriously anyway, their testing is flawed they dont even disclose how they do their test I went from a 6 to a Plus and I get way more then one extra hour of battery life with my Plus What do you expect, it powers a Quad HD screen , the GPU has to push more pixels, the display is bigger and has a bigger drain on the battery, the 28nm Snapdragon 805 is not as power efficient as the 20nm Apple A8, this was pretty obvious just by looking at the specs on paper
update
Ill stay at least until Gingersnap gets hers from apple and she becomes happy again- Update: Tracking number updated and phone is shipping from Fort Worth, TX and its Next day air!I am beyond sure as apps get optimized and iOS gets further updated and streamlined, the Plus is more then capable of running at 60 fps constant no lag, iOS 8 is defitnetly rushed out the door a bit...but it is also the biggest iOS update ever with over 4000 new API's ...i am sure they will fix performance and that stuttering, and also all app submissions by February 2015 need to be 64 bit capable, that alone right there switching the app from 32-bit to 64-bit gives a 10% performance increase right off the bat from the use of extra registers of the CPU(so next year we will get very nice performance gains as apps start getting 64 bit capable) Anyways going off topic a bit lol, but I agree the Plus is defitnetly the first iPhone at launch that wasn't 100% perfectly smooth with those options turned off(stock) A little bit suprising but, by no means is it slow in apps or performance wise at all, it is a very fast phone in operation, just animation stutters and sputters and tab reloadingI am happy to report impressive battery life since the update so it seems to be working well on my iPhone 6 iPhone 6 64GB (AT&T) // iPad Mini (Wifi) // 2013 MacBook Pro RetinaDid that and the apps were updated, after a short while. The funny thing is that instead of showing 'Open' beside every updated app in the updates section of the App Store,it shows 'Update'.I've confirmed that the apps were updated (compared the latest version in the App Store and on my phone, they were the same). Not that it actually affects anything but i just find it weird.I agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GBBeautiful screen alone was worth the update.Pre-ordered 6+ 64GB SG @ 1.46am CDT on 9/12 Estimated delivery 10/2 - 10/13 My AT&T site reads 'pending shipment' Cancel button on premier site reappeared 3-4 days ago No sign of any shipment or tracking number Happy for others seeing some progress ... just wish I could see some kind of update!iOS7 was a nice update and made the my iPhone 5 feel like a new phone again and if nothing else the iPad Air I just purchased was nice due to it's speed and screen. The Nexus 5 for me has been great, it was my first 4G phone (London) and signal is great, battery was a bit meh but I wiped my phone and has since doubled, the camera is good enough, the 4.2.2 update fixed the slow focusing. The 6 runs the 64bit chip while he 5 dose not and with each iOS update you will see you 5 getting worse and worse. With the shoddy update that was/is iOS 8, your phone could get bricked/slowed down thanks to terrible coding.Disappointed, hope it will be a future update as it's handy, but definitely not enough for me to go and buy the plus.Got tired of the phone looking mismatched, and tired of having to reapply icons after every update.I was also a bit annoyed at how quickly Apple drop update support for previous models (little did I realise how much worse the situation can be with non-Nexus devices on Android).****^ I don't find your sarcasm amusing The end tester(s) @ Apple that gave the go ahead to release this update needs to be fired Sad....Steve Job has passed awayIt's the same thing every time we have one of these.... Everyone gets all spun up and Apple Logos appear in their eyes....We make ludicrous posts about how Apple is the greatest and we can't wait to stand in line at 3 am to purchase it.... And then the Keynote happens and we will come back and say what an awful update that was and how underwhelmed we are by the newest Apple offerings....Then we may buy it...We may preorder it but only because the battery life sucks on the 6 month old 5S we currently have....Worked great, but was made obsolete quite soon with that terrible iOS 4 update that basically killed the performance.Nothing really I have my wifi and Bluetooth on, but I turned off most the the location services I don't need and left only the ones I need like camera, find my iphone etc, with everything thing on I should get close to 7-9 hours, but to be honest I mostly used it so far for normal usage, no map usage today such as Waze, it drains battery power like mad, I'll post update lasted tomorrow after using Waze to show the difference in battery power.Twice Also did a ##update# no luck Googled the issue, and every result was indicating a bad SIM - although, they were posts for 4, 4S and 5 (Around October 8 for the 5) which did not correlate to an update I would not really even consider the update being an issue if it weren't for a few of us with the same experience of updating, and then immediately having the issue Too weird Anyway, point of the post was to see if anyone else had this, which, some did - and as a heads up for others beating a dead horse now.Being "worried" about an unannounced software update to your mobile phone is, well, pathetic.

You deserve perfect cuz you paid for perfect , your not the bad guy cuz you demand your phone work , that's called taking a stand and not letting subpar quality control affect you because it shouldn't affect one of us , we as consumers should stick together on something like this and give each other the knowledge to get the job done , not doubt and call names like children Than why after 3 white box replacements through the mail with the same manager on the case did I get upgraded to a 5s white 16 gig , I'm begging people to not make statements that aren't true , if you suffer through 3 defective iphone 5 they will upgrade you to a 5s because after 3 refurbs they must give you a new device and they don't make new 5 anymore they only have refurb white box , I video tapped all 3 of my white box unboxings right from the signing to the opening and they all had scratched screens or something else and I had the proof , not only did I get upgraded I received a call from Erik from corporate who was stunned with what I went through and sent me a 32 gig iPod touch , just please stop assuming people are trying to commit fraud because we aren't , we are simply here trying to help each other get on the right path to enjoying their devices and if sharing my story and the email address of the managers that helped me gets something done for someone else and helps out one more lost person going through what I did that makes me feel great , we should all recieve perfect devices the first time and that don't happen but we have rights and should use them

couple
I personally agree that sprint network is bad but in couple spots is really great. It's a stunning phone and thoroughly nice to use with a couple of additional features the standard 6 doesn't have, however it's the size that is the real consideration for people I think. However, I noticed in a couple of trips to the apple store I would always pick up the 6+ and wonder if I could actually "live" with this phone, because man that screen is beautiful, it looks awesome and I like it.A couple of weeks ago my wife and I were enjoying a nice lunch out and I texted a photo to a friend of mine to let him know the restaurant we were at had his favorite beer on tap.I'm happy to get a perfect 6 plus after a couple of exchanges. He also went into great detail about how he/they want to do their best to make me happy and be there for me and how he'll stay on the phone with me for a couple of hours if need be, etc etc.If however you want the latest and greatest iPhone and your going to keep the device for a couple of years or more then it may be worth adding the extra money and getting a 6, but as I said the 5s is still a very, very capable and good phone.I find it really funny how a couple years ago when Samsung INTRODUCED the Note phablet just about everyone here said how it was such a stupid idea because it was so large and said they'd never buy an iPhone bigger than 4" because 4" was the perfect size.Nope - I knew I was getting a 6 when I woke up at 2:53AM EST I carry my phone in my front pants pocket all of the time, and did try a co-worker's 5.5" phone in my pocket a couple weeks ago; it fit, and I could sit if I adjusted the phone a bit before sitting, but it was way too obtrusive.Agree I always meet some really nice folks and nice conversations so waiting a couple hours is not a big deal.Couple reasons... the rMini has the amazing Smart Cover that allows it to stand on a hotel nightstand, and the rMini's battery is way way longer and its overall screen size is almost double the real estate.. so going to keep using it as my media device :-)Hopefully 5.5 grey, if I need to wait a couple of months ,I'll do that for bigger screen, had a note 3 an it was perfect bar being on android, so this 5.5 if true is perfect for me.I used to use the virgin deal , but after being given a couple of out of contract iPhone 4 we went with Genius wireless, we have three phones on the verizon network for just $75 each per yr, there are some other deals for time, data etc, but for pretty low users this is perfect, I only use wifi for data ...worth checking their plans...def a plus for teenagers too, no overspending from my teen.I figure a 16GB 4S built in Feb of 2014 (chipmunk.nl) and on 7.04 was worth a couple of Franklin's... so I'll keep it for nostalgia's sake haha... Too bad it wasn't a 64GB, but at least it wasn't an 8.You will need to open your iPhone 5s to be able to view the volume button contacts, and slide something (I used a tiny piece of paper ) inside the gap that makes your volume keys jiggle.... You will need a pentalobular screwdriver (the one that was required to open the iPhone 5) and a suction cup (the kind that you stick on windows and mirror)... just follow the couple of steps on iFixIt website: It worked for me... you must not be scared of opening your iPhone, and be careful enough not to break any connection wires under the screen (read the above iFixIt link for more info) Unfortunately, if it's the power button you want to fix, you wont be able to do it my way My power button jiggles a tiny bit, but it's hardly noticeable... when the iphone was opened I noticed there was no way to properly see the button and gain access to itSimplified: AT&T MVNO's: - AT&T GoPhone [I currently on $60 plan and its great] - AIO Wireless [Owned by AT&T] - Straight Talk [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Net10 [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - H2O Wireless - Go Red Pocket Mobile T-Mobile MVNO's: - GoSmart Mobile [Owned by T-Mobile] - Straight Talk [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Net10 [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Simple Mobile [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Ultra Mobile - Spot Mobile - Solavei - Platinum Tel - Metro PCS - iWireless - Walmart Family Mobile - 35orLess Sprint MVNO's: - Virgin Mobile - Straight Talk [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Net10 [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] Verizon MVNO's: - PagePlus - Straight Talk [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Net10 [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] If T-Mobile gave you the boot, go with AT&T MVNO's and I recommend: - #1 Straight Talk [Fast 4G + LTE Speeds slightly higher ping rates] - #2 GoPhone [Fastest 4G + LTE Speeds and Lowest Ping] - #3 AIO Wireless [Slightly cheaper than GoPhone with Fast 4G + LTE Speeds with slightly higher ping rates] Net10 and Straight Talk = Exact same except net10 = $5 more unless you do "Auto payment" T-Mobile MVNO's list has grown over the past couple of years maybe because its cheaper for companies to use its network vs AT&T but do note that you get LTE and much better coverage going with AT&T MVNO vs T-Mobile.i am 6'5 and i too have tried the samsung note 2 with the bigger screen and for the first couple of days it was weird but after that i was use to the size and feel i do agree that would be ideal for them to release 2 differnt size screens but i do not think i would want a screen size as big as the note as it makes it very uncomfortable in the pantsI'm not eligible for an upgrade at new customer pricing so any promotion Rogers does (unless it is amazing) won't be worth it when I can get an unlocked one for a couple hundred dollars more. The screen resolution is better at 1080 but not amazing IMO, amazing is the note 4 which a couple of my family members have, but I prefer iOS which speaks for why I chose the 6 plus.It is a great phone but after a couple of days I could not use it anymore because of a strange reason: pain in my eyes after max.The weird thing is, turning this on and using it for more than a couple minutes, the icons on the home screen and photo displays actually kinda give me a weird case of nausea. So there you have it, real world torture test from a tired middle-aged couple with the usual careless habits couples like us have and a crazy cat that, before we adopted it, probably worked as a movie extra as That Cat that pops out of cupboards and fakes the audience out in horror films. If you take into account that there are some fake answers on one end; also take into account that there are fake answers on the other side - Second, I don't think the problem is "the phone will bend in your pocket in your first couple of days of use", but "the phone will eventually bend in your pocket".Those complaining about horrible battery life need to wait a couple days, especially if you see the message that its still restoring Those claiming the have super duper awesome battery life are either not using their phone or are FOS.The bad thing is I've been sick for a couple days and have been napping on my couch, but since I can see the road and parking areas right in front of my living room windows, every time I start to doze I hear something and am gawking out the window thus thoroughly destroying my nap, which is making me feel worse from my sickies.Pretty Pathetic" "I find it strange how people would rather get the phone they don't want than to have to wait a couple of extra weeks to get the phone they do want."I have a family member wanting a 5c/s and I have seen a few on craigslist the past couple days for $300-325 and I am assuming they have a bad esn, I remember reading that the iphone 5 on verizon would work on att/tmobile but wasnt sure if it would if it had a bad esn for VerizonMine is a launch 5s and it was working perfectly (with a rare miss here and there, but not a big deal at all, I'd say 98% of the time it was fine)... we flew from RDU out to SJC a couple of weeks ago, and my touch sensor got worse and worse for the week and a half we were there.ditto to my previous comment The 32 gold 5s I had had a more reddish tint to it than my perfect 5 screen (neither with interlacing, I really can't believe first shot I got a good 5s I had terrible luck with the 5 for a while) but I returned it because I saw no reason to really sell my jailbroken 5 and fork over at least a couple of hundred to get the new one.So if worse comes to worse I guess I'll just pitch in the extra couple hundred bucks.

Yeah the 6 plus may be big but it is obnoxiously big beautiful and turns heads and i have caught people just looking at my phone (and when I had a 6 i remember I had seen a few 6 Pluses in the wild in peoples hands and them using it , and me just going to my self "wow that screen does look really nice and beautiful actually") it actually is one of the reasons why i went from the 6 to the 6 Plus because of envy and also the other obvious (battery life, screen size and res, OIS )After moving from a 4s who's battery life was decimated after moving to ios7, I must say that my iOS 7.1.2, 64 gig 5s has outstanding battery life in comparison.Went from the 6 to the 6 Plus and am beyond absolutely happy and satisfied and glad that I did, no regrets at all and i am already used to the Plus now...the bigger screen and 1080p panel, the OIS, and espcially the noticeably better battery life of the Plus makes it feel like a big upgrade from past iPhones and a legit upgrade...I am absolutely in love with my Plus, if you dont mind a Note 3 sized phone/phablet , the Plus is the way to go, I promise you wont be let down The thinness and tapered edges makes this device great to hold in hand IMO, and keeps it slim and very tolerable and lighter and skinnier in pocket due to its form factor OIS is the smallest reason to upgrade to the 6 Plus, but OIS most certainly does help in low light and makes the Plus produce better images then the 6, you picked a bad few examples, OIS helps quite a bit in low light On a 6 Plus here, came from a 6 , and have noticed absolutely no difference in performance, both scream and peform blazing fast and give fantastic graphical details in games alongside with superb high frame rate, Vainglory looks and plays beyond amazing on my Plus I agree to this, 6 Plus performs just as blazing fast and stupdenously fast as the 6 I switched from which I had own for over a month and a halfThe curved glass, thin unibody metal body, gorgeous display, and amazing battery life. The 6 wasnt bad but battery life is very important to me and theres a big difference between the 2...and the screen size is awesome.-Excellent build quality - Consistent battery life - Great performance - Almost flawless stability - Very bright display - Best app quality when compared with Android - Don't have to wait for carriers when system updates release - Excellent audio quality -Touch ID is a blessingBut I still get some damn nice battery life.got the 6 first, absolutely thought Id never get a phone the size of the Plus, was chirping that the 6 is the perfect size and phone, but then I started getting envious of the Plus, then i wanted to switch to the Plus and I did and i love it that much more over the 6 and im beyond happy and satisfied I switched to the Plus Love the screen and battery life tremendously, they are simply incredible on the Plus, also has OIS which is a benefit, its been about a week since I owned the Plus and I am already used to the size(granted I rock it without a case to keep it slim and light, which the thinness and weight makes it alot more tolerable to hold and feels good imo, much better feel and hold and is slimmer in hand then other phablets, I am used to the size alreadyI have a 6 plus and it is completely smooth, (I do have Reduce Motion on though) I went from a 6 to a 6 plus and honestly i am beyond happy and satisfied and gratified and everything i switched from a 6 to a Plus, it is alot better in my eyes... the screen is incredible, the battery life is stupendous.. i just enjoy the Plus so much more then the 6, and I dont think the Plus is too big at all, its nice and thin and pretty light. Not really, alot of people actually seem to be very pleased and happy with their plus/6 battery life, me, i am getting stupendously good battery life on my Plus, literally probably double the battery life then what I would get on my GS4 easily. The battery life, camera, and that amazing screen are just beautiful.Im beyond happy i went with the 6 to the Plus, the battery life is NOTICEABLY better on the Plus and lasts really dam long, and the full HD screen is just so beautiful and spacious, these two alone are worth it and of course you also get OISBattery life of the Plus is noticeably better then the 6, I just came from a 6 to a Plus and i am getting noticeably way longer battery life on the Plus, im actually in awe and really amaZed how long this battery last on the Plus, its amazing..This, this website is superb and it helped me find a 6 Plus 64 Gb in stock right at my local Apple store, I got the 4.7 inch 6 on Launch date, and I had it for about a month, I loved it but the Plus was looking so luring and amazing once I got to play with it a few times, I was so sure at first I didnt ever want the Plus, but then I started envying it, and then My brother ended up buying this Plus at Apple and we traded my 4.7 inch i6 with Applecare + on it for a 64 gb 6 plus for me, and I honestly couldnt be anymore satisfied and happy with this, I am beyond happy I got the plus, I love this thing and Im already use to the size, the thinness of the device is truly what makes this phablet actually very tolerable imo and its very slim in the pocket, The bigger screen alongside with the stupendously good battery life alone is beyond worth it and also OIS, All other phones just feel tiny now to me hah, TLDR: switched from a 6 (never thought id get a phablet) to a Plus and i am beyond in love with this thing and i am beyond satisifed and happy i went from the 6 to the 6 PlusTo me, the 6+ has taken time to get used to and still at times can be a tad unwieldy but it's a compromise I happily make every day to get that awesome battery life and larger HD display.people prefer ram to battery life, that's something i'd never expect.. to be honest the only thing missing from a perfect phone for me is: 2gb ram, water-resistant, improved scratch resistance, less bezels and a more efficient battery life (=> the day that the "up to" advertised numbers become standard numbers (meaning 10h = 10h, not 10h = 4h.)I would have been happy with the 64GB Gold, but the battery life was worse than I'd had with the 128GB I gave my son.I am happy to report impressive battery life since the update so it seems to be working well on my iPhone 6 iPhone 6 64GB (AT&T) // iPad Mini (Wifi) // 2013 MacBook Pro RetinaBut most of users want a great display, a great camera and a great battery life.Amazing display, amazing battery life, iOS8 has mostly been fine. Also the battery life on the 6 Plus is amazing, you need to adjust some settings for optimal battery life, these links will help...Battery life, camera, and the biggest/best screen this side of the Galaxy Note 4 (great for GPS and games) are also some really nice things to have.Honestly, if the regular 6 had come with the same resolution and landscape capabilities and battery life, that form factor would have been preferable to me as it marries the decent screen size with portability in a more optimal way than the Plus does, at least for me.The battery life has been great, the low light pictures are very impressive.I used my iphone 6 for 12 days before i returned it and went for a 6plus now here are the differences:- iPhone 6 Pros One handed use light and pocketable Cons to be honest except for the design there wasnt any difference btw 5s and 6.. battery life was almost the same n so was the display iPhone 6 plus my experience:- as i have used LG g3 and Note 3 going for a phablet wasnt a big deal for me..but to be honest this thing is big and not that much easy to carry around in your pockets but two things made me just fall in love with this beauty 1st its bigger and FULL HD display [on iphone 6 i can easily see jaggered lines on the text n Fonts but here on iphone 6 plus everything is smooth n crystal clear] second man o man the battery life is awesome and superb.. to be honest iPhone 6 plus is the real upgrade for this generation while 6 is jus OKGreat screen, great battery life and with my wallet case, I got rid of my wallet.I keep hearing about how great the battery life is, which is the thing I'm most excited for.The curved design feels fantastic, the screen size upgrades are great, the cameras have some awesome feature like slo-mo and OIS on plus, pretty great battery life, and Apple Pay sounds promising. The battery life is amazing as is the beautiful screen.Gorgeous screen and nice battery life. The big, amazing screen and battery life are worth it alone. Now I know why I tried a Nexus 5 and HTC One over the past few years The 6 Plus - awesome screen, amazing camera, and killer battery life - simply perfect (for me).The 6 is really nice because it feels like my 5s in my pocket, but I really miss the big screen and phenomenal battery life that the 6 plus had.I feels great, the battery life is great, the screen is nice.Honestly I'm amazed how great the battery life is on the 6+.I'm happy with my battery life and I need to test the camera more, but I'm quite satisfied by its quality so I'm very happy of my iPhone 6Amazing battery life since I calibrated the battery and the screen is awesome!Incredible battery life, an amazing camera, great for watching for videos, and playing games - oh and it makes phone calls too. Also the ip6/6 Plus and their design and performance and camera and screens are just fantasic and amazing as a whole in the package , extremely top notch specs (ARMv8/64 Bit processor that is top notch performer on the market right now, extremely good front and back cameras, best LCD screens in a smartphone ever(Thats up to you if you prefer OLED over LCD or vice versa) amazing body design in my opinion, really good battery life) I love and adore the look of the new screens how they like overlap on the edges and it morphs into the edges for a nice smooth glide off feeling, (I have a Space gray iPhone 6 and I love so much how the black screen like morphs over the edges and consumes the phones front ) i think it looks much better then any phone out right nowI'm just glad the 6 Plus takes good pics, Nice large screen and an excellent battery life.Great phone hardware wise (screen, camera and battery life) but for me it is just too big a device to use, especially with a case on it.The screen really was beautiful, camera was excellent, and battery life amazing.Very nice screen and awesome battery life is a very wonderful combo.Fantastic battery life, great camera, amazing screen.Nice size, solid button feedback, Touch ID works perfect, excellent camera and solid battery life for my usage.Cliff Notes: Pros: Great battery life, awesome screen [reading], good camera Cons: Unusable with one-hand; (Apple) software is lacking. It is a great phone, the screen is gorgeous, and I love the battery life (over my 5s).Nice battery life, I'm pretty pleased with my 6 too!I'd hate to give up the gorgeous screen, optical image stabilizer and awesome battery life, so it's going to be a tough sell.I'd be happy with 12 hours of battery life with moderate use.Keeping my 6+ When I first opened it and started to use it I thought I had made a mistake going with the Plus but after spending the day using it as am really happy I ordered the Plus The Sreen is great and the Battery life is really goodI got pretty much bored of Android, I had a rooted Galaxy S2 with Cyanogenmod in it, it wasn't a bad phone but it was annoying seeing the force closes, soft reboots, battery life issues.Camera is awesome, battery life is on point, and the screen is absolutely stunning.Reviews summary: both are fantastically designed, with great cameras, brilliant screens, fast chips, and solid battery life.Apple iPhone 6 Plus PROS Large, beautiful display Great camera with optical image stabilization Long battery life Fast performance CONS NFC can only be used for mobile paymentsA great camera, a great screen, and great battery life.It must fit in my jeans as I carry my phone, basically, at all times *** Battery life is still better than on my iPhone 5, but somehow, I simply fear it won't really be an improvement Basically, I feel like the 6+ might be a bit too tall and a bit too wide to fit comfortably in my jeans. You can get the smaller iPhone 6, but have worse battery live and a worse camera (no OIS), for 100$ less... OR bigger iPhone 6 Plus, with bigger and slightly sharper screen, noticeably better battery life, but crappier performance (especially if they keep 1gb of RAM).They could've still used more ram and give us better battery life, Lumia 1520 is a great example of having a great battery life and 2GB ram.I want to stick with Apple, but for me to do so here's what I need: - A smarter, more intuitive and forward thinking iOS 8 - A better camera with improved flash - Sapphire screen (Not a fan of screen protectors, also not a fan of scratches on my screen) - Wireless Charging (Probably the feature I want most on the next iPhone) -Better battery life (No real complaints about the battery life of my 5, but improvements can, and should, be made whenever possible) - NFC (I want to link my debit card to my phone for fast payments) - An aluminum back that doesn't scratch up so easily when using the phone without a case (The iPhone 5 is gorgeous and looks/feels best when used without a case.Apple is usually the first to popularize awesome features such as 7 hour battery life on the MacBook Air (and then to an amazing 12 hours), retina display on a laptop, Touch ID on the iPhone, etc.Google's Nexus 5 is a great little device with the best version of Android, but the battery life is atrocious.I was lucky enough to get a phone with brilliant battery life in comparison to my two prior faulty iPhone 5's (not replaced due to battery - the first due to busted speaker in the ear piece, plus dirt under camera lens, the second due to no phone functionality working at all).My battery life is related to phone/wifi signal - I can get really great battery life when I am in area with strong signal, when I am at work (mostly metal building), where the phone signal is really bad, I do not get through work day.It has awesome battery life and a nice sized screen.Battery life is magnificent, signals are excellent, and it has unique features and a very nice 3-CPU platform that makes it far snappier than higher-specced competitors.i wish they made it a bit thicker and stuck a nice battery to have some impressive battery life. But there is a misconception here, the truth is, hardware wise the 5s bites off more battery life than it can chew, leaving the 5c being the phone with the most impressive battery life.my ipad air has a perfect screen and I'm getting upwards of 12 hours use out of it even with some gaming, the mini retina I bought had a perfect screen and good battery life, and safari doesn't crash on me.- running IOS 6 - really great battery life, more than a days worth.thats amazing battery life I average 7-8 hours usage 1 day standby and i'm very happy with that. However, when I activated and tested my phone, I found the battery life to be great, and the colors of the screen are nice and vibrant.Glad to hear other 38 weekers are having great battery life I'm taking mine to Apple soon to see if I can switch mine out.3 email accounts on push moderate to heavy browsing moderate gaming LTE on all the time Love my battery life.Definitely getting worse (but not terrible) battery life out of my 5 compared to my 4 under exactly the same settings and usage.Oh I'm sorry I wasn't aware that when LTE first started rolling out that the phones that support the technology had great battery life, we're amazing thin, and the LTE network was in more than a hand full of cities.If/when 2G is working at capacity, it's actually not terrible and the battery life is great.- improved battery life (charging every day after heavy use is not a problem but a tad annoying) - lighter/sturdier design - live streaming - ability to create folders for photos on the phone - ability to cut/paste photos into new folders - free navigation if it looked like this I would be pretty happyA realistic look at the next iPhone from my perspective: PRIORITY Pre-installed Flash Removable battery More physical buttons for options such as profile 5.0MB camera or better Better battery life REALLY NICE TO HAVE Video conferencing and/or live streaming.I say that because of several things: Battery life is insane Ergonomics- rounded corners make it easy to hold and it doesn't feel unwieldy at all.I just don't know if it is worth upgrading if I'm happy with my 5 as it is (aside from the terrible battery life I'm getting at this point - though I think replacement batteries can be had for pretty cheap). The 6 Plus considerably outperforms the Note 4, it gets noticeably better on screen frame rate in games and 3D applications then the Note 4(which also translate to smoother UI performance and stuff like that, there is no reason why the Note 4 stutters and lags in native phone app when scrolling and just scrolling through the home screen) There are tons of demonstrations and benchmarks that clearly show the 6 Plus is the better performer, both off screen/on screen results, it isnt a comparison Nexus 6 suffers from terribly slow read/write speeds due to the FDE in Lollipop, and also Lollipop is completly bug ridden right now You can mention Facebook as a indicator because alot of Android apps still lag and are pretty ******, alot of apps share in common with the Facebook app in terms of performance, its abysmal and sad, the worse GPU/CPU performance and worse battery life is why i went with the 6 Plus over the Note 4 You must of missed or are intentionally deluding/blocking your self out from all the real world/benchmark results that showed the 6 Plus beating the Note 4 about a month ago (Anandtech, few others reporting this ) Hey, Apple is doing something really right though if it offers better performance then the current smartphone competition right now though (better GPU/CPU performance then the 805) and also offers better battery life then current Snapdragon 805 offerings People complain about the "RAM " issue on iOS devices meanwhile Android devices with 2-3x more RAM are still reloading and refreshing applications just as much if not more then iOS devices....oh Android fans...the ironyEspecially with how the Nexus 6 apparently has a questionable screen and meh battery life, which was my intended purchase, also availability is as bad as the iphone 6+ currently hah.Um, PhoneArena battery testing is awful and they dont even disclose how they run their tests, they are not reliable at all, Anandtech has the best real world life usage testing PhoneArena doesnt even disclose how they do their testign, they dont go at all into details, their testing is not reliable and doesnt match more then half the times with multiple other battery tests done by other websites and also reviews Anandtech is one of the most reliable, reputable non biased websites on the web, their results and testing and analysis is really almost unmatched in the industry Anand does not write any articles or post anymore on Anandtech, he has put others complelty in charge and now works basically full time at Apple, you dont just throw out years of extremely reputable fame and non bias and renown that Anandtech has built over the years with the industry, terrible damage control, its widely known now that PhoneArenas testing is flawed and that they dont even disclose their testing Lol yeah, im sure the iPhone 6 plus only gets one hour more of battery life then the 6, what a joke, nobody takes PhoneArenas testing seriously anyway, their testing is flawed they dont even disclose how they do their test I went from a 6 to a Plus and I get way more then one extra hour of battery life with my Plus What do you expect, it powers a Quad HD screen , the GPU has to push more pixels, the display is bigger and has a bigger drain on the battery, the 28nm Snapdragon 805 is not as power efficient as the 20nm Apple A8, this was pretty obvious just by looking at the specs on paperReviews state unequivocally that battery life is either worse, slightly worse, or the same.On 8.0.2, I'm afraid to upgrade to 8.1 seeing the other thread where people said battery life was bad.then the bad radios and the horrible battery life and slow updates and to this day when ever we go look at phones they say don't ever listen to him he'll have u get the worst for Verizon has to offer while tellin u how awesome it is.It is by far the worst thing I have to say about this phone, even worse than battery life.I read lots of threads about bad battery life and while I would stipulate occasionally there's probably a bad piece of hardware here or there, it's clearly not the OS or the hardware (when it's working correctly).Like I said I would have to be a pretty sad individual to fake good battery life of my phone over the internet.hey guys ive had my iphone 6 for a week now and i have ios 8.0.2 installed on it, and the battery life is just terrible, i have background app refresh completely off, email push is off and my email account is set to manual instead of fetch, i can't figure out why its so bad, i mean if i dont use the phone then the battery holds up i guess but if i use it to browse facebook or just play a game or whatever it is drainging really quickly.. i also have notifications turned off for nearly every app other than messages and facetime.. i cant figure out whats causing the drainage.. i have my brightness set to 1/4 of the full brightness as well so its not my brightness.CycleCount: 917 DesignCapacity: 1430 FullChargeCapacity: 900 Status: Success BatteryCurrentCapacity: 35 BatteryIsCharging: true ExternalChargeCapable: true ExternalConnected: true FullyCharged: false GasGaugeCapability: true This is the iphone 4s i got from my brother, so far the battery life has been worse than i expected (never had an iphone before) and sometimes the charging is kinda ****ed (it starts charging at 30% even though it was at 1% before) or it says its at 1% when its actually at like 15%.Until this iteration of the iPhone, display size and battery life were not as satisfactory for the amazing amount of media consumption done on a daily basis. You probably had a bad signal during class - a bad cell signal will constantly be scanning for signal and eat up more battery life. The Moto X in general was a very average phone though - bad battery life (go search forums endless complaints), bad AMOLED screen (whites are really bad and fuzzy text), and the camera was the trifecta of bad.THINGS I WONT MISS: The battery life: The battery life on a lot of android phones are generally not that great, and seeing as Samsung can't make a nice OS skin if they tried, I'm not going there.Battery life is great, but it's still nice to get a quick glimpse to see how long until I need a charge. Everything else is awesome but battery life needs improvementI realize I didn't start using my phone until the battery was already around 70%, and that I was more-or-less using the phone non-stop for this period of time, but this kind of battery life still seems abysmal, especially for simple tasks like web browsing, streaming music with the screen turned off, taking a few pictures, etc.To those saying to "Buy a 5s": - Worse camera for both video and picture taking - Worse processer - Worse battery life - Sharp edged design - Thicker - No NFC (Yes, ApplePay is a big deal) Those are sacrifices people will make when purchasing last year's 4" model.I know quite a few couples that have downgraded and are a lot happier for it: no longer having to deal with annoying texts, facebook requests, weird phone glitches due to overcomplicated software, much better battery life, much lower bills, etc.But then again I look at my girlfriend and the way aw uses and chargers her phone (careless, whenever) and the quality of her battery life is awful. And that same Nexus 4 had a worse camera, worse screen, worse performance (CPU and GPU), worse battery life, didn't have iMessage, didn't have apps as good as iOS, didn't have as good accessories and many more things...It would be awful b/c if you look further Verizon and T-Mo would not support VoLTE and those models would randomly have worse battery life than the ones on ATT and Sprint =DIt's the same thing every time we have one of these.... Everyone gets all spun up and Apple Logos appear in their eyes....We make ludicrous posts about how Apple is the greatest and we can't wait to stand in line at 3 am to purchase it.... And then the Keynote happens and we will come back and say what an awful update that was and how underwhelmed we are by the newest Apple offerings....Then we may buy it...We may preorder it but only because the battery life sucks on the 6 month old 5S we currently have....I'm sick and tired of Apple going thinner and ignoring its horrific battery life on the iPhone line. Some extra features which can't take much 'processing power' at all, so I don't see why it is worth slaying speed (iPhone 4) and battery life (iPhone 5) for these quite worthless new features. But my relatives using nexus 4 complain of bad battery life and I've read bad reviews about camera of nexus 5.I have a 5, the battery life stinks, it was not great in iOS 6 and it's worse in iOS 7.The Verizon one will either keep searching for a cell signal (bad for battery life), or won't have functional GPS (bad if you're out hiking or camping). As well: 128 gb option 5 inch screen Thicker, with twice the battery life Other than that, hardware wise, I can't think of anything else that I really really want that apple would ever implement (SD card and removable battery come to mind as nice options, but don't see that ever happening). For the first months since I purchase the 5s, the battery life was terrible, I've read over the net that the 3-4 hours that I got from 100%, was possible with few degrading variables such as heat, low signal strength , higher brightness, etc.Samsung devices are NOTORIOUS for horrific battery life, and as someone who's owned many of them I can vouch.I was scared that the iPhone 5s would have bad battery life because I had a 5C for about a month and I'll tell you it wasn't anything like this.Contrary to my previous post after only 24hrs with phone and pathetic battery life.... Once fully restored, backed up on iCloud and second full charge to 100%, the current status since last full charge is: Usage: 3 hours 54 mins (approx 4 hours) Standby: 17 hours 41 mins Battery remaining: 50%.If you have every feature activated and your brightness above 50% and a bad cellular connection then your battery life will be much worse.Hey guys, I got my new iPhone 5 yesterday (switched from blackberry and i'm soo happy) but the battery life isn't all that great.I'm running on 6.1.2 If I leave home at 7:00 in the morning, it will only last me to 3 in the afternoon.Worse battery life i've had out of the 3 charges but this time ive been at work where signal is worse so hense battery dropping quicker. No 3G coverage at work.Obviously you will get worse battery life on 3G or LTE..point is people were getting worse battery life before even on wifi...thats the point of posting the differences. My first iPhone 5 had great battery life (didn't get the week build unfortunately) but my current iP5 is week 38 and has terrible battery life"I don't want my BT on all the time because it drains the battery" "Good luck with your inferior battery life because of an inferior user."this is my expectations/wishlist for the iphone 5 -8 megapixel camera -hd front facing camera -A5 1GHz dual-core chip -some changes to design -7.5mm depth -4" display -better battery life (average 1 extra hour on all battery specs) -external keyboard (dont think it will happen but would be nice) -3d screen (doubtfull for the iphone 5 but hopefully soon) -death grip fix -live wallpaper (seen it on jailbroken ipads and it looks amazing) -im deffinately not expecting apple to do all of the things in my list on the iphone 5 but it would be nice P.S.
battery camera
I would be happy if they made the new phone thicker to include a bigger battery and bigger Camera lens to improve low light photos I am very happy with the current 6 design and will probably get the plus version next timeAll the things we thought the 6 would be, but wasn't: Wireless charging Waterproof Two day battery 20Mp camera Bezel-less Two gigs ram at least LED notification Durable Sapphire screen No ugly antenna bands No ugly protruding lens No bad screens escaping QC inspection Stable iOS Smooth iOS This would make a phone with paying a thousand bucks for.The battery life, camera, and that amazing screen are just beautiful.Battery life, camera, and the biggest/best screen this side of the Galaxy Note 4 (great for GPS and games) are also some really nice things to have.I'm happy with my battery life and I need to test the camera more, but I'm quite satisfied by its quality so I'm very happy of my iPhone 6Incredible battery life, an amazing camera, great for watching for videos, and playing games - oh and it makes phone calls too.Fantastic battery life, great camera, amazing screen.Cliff Notes: Pros: Great battery life, awesome screen [reading], good camera Cons: Unusable with one-hand; (Apple) software is lacking. You can get the smaller iPhone 6, but have worse battery live and a worse camera (no OIS), for 100$ less... OR bigger iPhone 6 Plus, with bigger and slightly sharper screen, noticeably better battery life, but crappier performance (especially if they keep 1gb of RAM).So I wouldn't exactly say I am excited about the iPhone 6, since I am getting one regardless, but there are 3 things that could make me excited: a 5'5" screen, considerably better battery and a better camera (which I think the 5 has a decent camera already). Was going to buy a 5.5 incher -expected it to be $100 more than the counter part - Check, aint mad cause its better -Was going to get 32GB for the price of $400 - Im getting an extra 32GB for the price I was gonna pay CHECK -Has better battery, screen, camera, ipad landscape - Check -Releases same day as 4.7 - Check Everything I was worried about was alleviated. But my relatives using nexus 4 complain of bad battery life and I've read bad reviews about camera of nexus 5.

battery size
Something about the 6 Plus that is just incredible..i just feel like i have the whole world at my finger tips...a big very beautiful into this world, and the way the space gray 6 /6plus in the front looks with the edges sloping off and like the blackness of the front display and just the way it seems to morph into the edges and kind of like consume the whole front of the device is amazing...plus ( no pun intended lmao) i love the battery life, it is absolutely incredibly good and lasts a very long time I like the 6 design better then the 5S/5 design overall.... One thing I do wish though is that i wished they made a darker model then Space Gray (like the dark slate color from the iPhon 5) , that would look even moreamazing imo.. Yeah the 6 plus may be big but it is obnoxiously big beautiful and turns heads and i have caught people just looking at my phone (and when I had a 6 i remember I had seen a few 6 Pluses in the wild in peoples hands and them using it , and me just going to my self "wow that screen does look really nice and beautiful actually") it actually is one of the reasons why i went from the 6 to the 6 Plus because of envy and also the other obvious (battery life, screen size and res, OIS )Yeah, pretty amazing how sony can fit in a 4.6 inch screen, microSD slot, and 2600mAh battery into something the size of an iPhone 5s.Couple reasons... the rMini has the amazing Smart Cover that allows it to stand on a hotel nightstand, and the rMini's battery is way way longer and its overall screen size is almost double the real estate.. so going to keep using it as my media device :-)Agreed, maybe I'll change my mind once I have one but I've tried the Galaxy Note 3 before and hated how it two-hands was an absolute requirement to function At the moment the Xperia Z3 Compact is my personal favorite device on the horizon based on its compact size for one-handed use, flagship specs (snapdragon 801, 2gb RAM, micro SD, 20mp camera) and great battery size at 2600mAh.

question
get ready for people to accuse you of all kind of things though, kinda crazy around here :-) that did answer your question, yet in a sarcastic way.Yvonne : Great question, and i'm glad you've asked. That helps with the first part of the question If anyone would be so kind to post a 6+ screenshot, that would be great!I mean you are a snob if you think asking a question like that to "potential snobs" would help you get any meaningful insight..Although this is the best forum site(among all smartphone forums) to have an actually neutral and intelligent discussion, you should ask it on a general tech forum imo to know what the non-iphone owners think of those with iphones. It's these kind of questions that make me realize that the whole " No question is a dumb question" thing is just not true.Funny, you ask a question and then attack people for giving you an honest answer.Example: Old Plan 6GB Mobile Share with 2 smart phones = And I upgrade both every 2 years New Plan 10GB Mobile Share Value plan with 2 smart phones Data Charge = $100 Number of phones = 2 15*2 = $30 18.75 x 2 = $37.5 New bill evaluated cost = The question to ask is if its worth it, in this case for an extra $7.50/mo, for the new plan and extra 4GB of data. And on that HUH question that i asked, i was clearly being sarcastic and was not challenging anyone but you're too dumb to tell the difference.I simply asked a question and now I'm getting **** on for doing so for one I'm not a troll and my canadian sense of humor is just fine, this is the worst forum I've ever been on just awful mean ppl on here now a days!!!!!And you would post the worst implementation of LED ever.....the way it's done is very nice and definitely not tacky present day...good job defending your iPhone with this obnoxious post And to answer this threads actual question, Apple is so stubborn because they will never give you guys what you actually want, they only give you guys what they feel you need...The Customer service rep was rude and acted like i was dumb and seriously used "lol" in the chat.... And every time I have a question they NEVER answer my question they use a damn script.Example: Angry Birds 2009 - 18mb file size Angry Birds 2014 on a larger screen iPhone 6 - 72mb 3.2mp camera 0.4~mb VGA video 1 minute 33mb 8.0mp camera 1.7~mb 1080 video 1 minute 142mb I hope my question made sense..The circumstances under which someone buys a phone with a bad ESN without inquiring of the carrier to determine its status may provide ample reason to call into question the ethics of the seller or the buyer, but the likelihood of a strong correlation between a bad ESN and harmful viruses or malware is slight.Arrival Scan Looks like my pallet joined up with the security held 7:10 crew and flew off to Korea.. (Would have preferred Osaka vacation for various reasons... but its moving.. but still 25th, so the question is will it remain with the 7:10ers when they depart for the US... while tomorrow is a possibility assuming they pop the next flight out... being on 'expedited' I dont hold much hope... but now Wednesday looks promising, except as I've stated, Wednesday is the 1 bad day this week for me.)

longer
Owned every iPhone to date and the 6/6+ is the worst one yet in my opinion (design wise) - You can tell Steve is no longer there.Battery life of the Plus is noticeably better then the 6, I just came from a 6 to a Plus and i am getting noticeably way longer battery life on the Plus, im actually in awe and really amaZed how long this battery last on the Plus, its amazing..This is going to sound insane, but if you are holding it in the same position that you used to hold your 5 in, mouthpiece wise, then the earpiece is no longer in the optimum position, since the phone is longer.I really thought I'd at least be giving it a chance down the road (you can see my previous posts from before the launch when we didn't know we'd be getting both at the same time) but the 6 is pretty damn perfect so coupled with the +'s issues I no longer feel the need.If i have to wait a few weeks longer for the beautiful plus, i'm still happy its worth it.Still awkward to carry but no longer awkward to handle. But I knew that going in and it's awesome to have something with this big , beautiful display that lasts 2-3x longer than my 5s did with similar use.I'm sympathetic to no one who labors under the delusion that they have some magical link with an individual who is no longer alive. You know it's funny, with the Macbook Pro line, the 15" and 17" models were always superior (higher resolution, dedicated GPU, more RAM, longer battery, etc) however people did not feel bad about getting the 13", as it was the best combo of portability and power for most.Couple reasons... the rMini has the amazing Smart Cover that allows it to stand on a hotel nightstand, and the rMini's battery is way way longer and its overall screen size is almost double the real estate.. so going to keep using it as my media device :-)I'm actually quite happy with my iPhone 5, and since I'll be paying less once out of contract, will probably hang onto it a bit longer than I normally would (unless the iPhone 6 is AMAZING or something) I may actually upgrade to a used 5s once the 6 comes out, because I want that motion processor and TouchID.It only that the issue was ONE of the following: Invalid shipping address Invalid credit card information Duplicate order received The item is no longer available I have a feeling the issue was that we ordered from an AT&T authorized dealer.I know quite a few couples that have downgraded and are a lot happier for it: no longer having to deal with annoying texts, facebook requests, weird phone glitches due to overcomplicated software, much better battery life, much lower bills, etc. It's a bit like saying the iPhone is no longer a fashionable accessory because it's not 2007 any more, regardless of the fact it's still popular amongst us mere mortals. This mini model got pigeonholed to the Pee Wee league for people with small hands or too scared to adapt carrying a larger phone with better specs and longer juice time.Because the longer they wait, the worse their product gets, and the better the competition, with their cheap SD cards, looks.

dock
It's kind of a pain that they gave us the option of moving all the icons including those in the dock to the next screen, but then we have to keep staring at the dock. Thanks for the link...been looking all over online for a nice one and aside from dockplus.com, which is very similar to the one you posted, but literally twice the price (and too much in my opinion for a dock) I hadn't found something really nice, simple and elegant.haha nice needed to ensure that it would fit in my dock, pants, etc that's what I tell my wife anyway LOLAnd you know you ain't going to crap in return like on (Windows Phone or Android) 3. iOS/ICloud/Intergration - Simple , elegant (dock bar blur is annoying, but I can overlook it) customisable to what you want it to be.The 6 and 6+ however won't fit in my Apple iPhone 5 dock, but will fit in my Belkin dock, though I doubt I can rotate the mic plug up as it is unlikely going to line up.Turn off all my home theatre , dims the lights on a ten minute timer to give me time to brush teeth etc I'm sure there's more but hey Siri looks an interesting feature for my uses just not overly keen on having to plug my iPhone in to use it cause means I'll need to buy a dock and I don't fancy shouting hey Siri I'm going toilet how many ducking times are you listening or what (from a other room) hahaMy phone is a 3G not the 3gS Ability to transfer data via bluetooth (admittedly, i don't use bluetooth that often but it would be nice to have the ability to do so) 5 items on the dock instead of 4 (i had my phone jailbroken for awhile -not anymore- and really loved that option) Ability to open .ICS events natively especially when I'm traveling and my phone is the only option for email checking (i do not have an exchange account or mobileme) Flash (yeah, i know, extremely unrealistic given Jobs' comments about Flash not terribly long ago) An earlier post mentioned a drop-down on the home screen for wi-fi options, i.e, the same function available on the Mac desktop.

couple days
i am 6'5 and i too have tried the samsung note 2 with the bigger screen and for the first couple of days it was weird but after that i was use to the size and feel i do agree that would be ideal for them to release 2 differnt size screens but i do not think i would want a screen size as big as the note as it makes it very uncomfortable in the pantsIt is a great phone but after a couple of days I could not use it anymore because of a strange reason: pain in my eyes after max.If you take into account that there are some fake answers on one end; also take into account that there are fake answers on the other side - Second, I don't think the problem is "the phone will bend in your pocket in your first couple of days of use", but "the phone will eventually bend in your pocket".Those complaining about horrible battery life need to wait a couple days, especially if you see the message that its still restoring Those claiming the have super duper awesome battery life are either not using their phone or are FOS.The bad thing is I've been sick for a couple days and have been napping on my couch, but since I can see the road and parking areas right in front of my living room windows, every time I start to doze I hear something and am gawking out the window thus thoroughly destroying my nap, which is making me feel worse from my sickies.I have a family member wanting a 5c/s and I have seen a few on craigslist the past couple days for $300-325 and I am assuming they have a bad esn, I remember reading that the iphone 5 on verizon would work on att/tmobile but wasnt sure if it would if it had a bad esn for Verizon
