I spent a few days last week watching craigslist last week and bought a sealed iPhone 6 Plus 64GB Gray last Friday for $725.00 - Activated, went to Apple store grabbed a leather case and an extra lighting cable for use with an old iPad charger for use as my travel charger (Supposedly it charges faster with the bigger iPad charger) Anyway, if you're tired of waiting or don't want to be stuck in a contract paying way over full price for a phone, this is a great alternative.IF you get lucky, the blue shirt will go to his/her manager and speak about it... the manager will then come over to you and say, yes we can cancel the 2 year contract and you'll have to wait for your upgrade eligibility to kick back in, which generally takes 5-10 mins... if you cancelled twice, you're SOL as it locks the upgrade and you'll have to call AT&T and they'll have to call some other to have it restored which will take 3-5 business days... to avoid that, if you're on a family plan, I'd suggest you pre-order with another line thats not looking to upgrade right away... that way your upgrade is available right away and theres no waiting around... if you're the only line, I'd suggest you log into your AT&T mobile app and keep refreshing the upgrade eligibility page until you see it kick in... once they cancel the 2 year contract, theres an option for the NEXT or you can purchase the phone "device only" which means you pay for the phone completely, right there... again, I've experienced stores where they will flat out tell you they cant do such a thing, blah blah blah, cancelling will put the phone back into their online pre-order batch, which is BS... you just need to get lucky and have a blue shirt willing to do it for you...Might be moving back to Japan before my iPhone 6 contract here in the states is up - would kind of blow to have to start a new contract on a phone that might be a year or more old by that point. So I got my 2 year contract phone delivered, and waited a few days til the launch dust settled, then went into an Apple store, staked out a friendly, smart looking employee and said I wanted to return my phone, then have them sell it right back to me on the Next plan.I have a friend on Facebook who feels the need to do this kind of thing with his new LG phone, only 2 months ago he was telling everyone how he was moving away from the iPhone blah blah blah, he was out of contract, the usual stuff people say.One of the nice things about always buying off contract is I don't have to worry about ordering multiple phones and returning them (the newer AT&T plans with the $25/mo discount for BYOD make it worth it).I was happy to pay for full price for an out of contract phone (TMobile) - They never used the reservation system - We were told the store had all skus in stock, and based on our spot in line, we'd get what we want - Our line just stopped moving - Come 1:00 - we heard - second hand - all the 6P inventory was gone - which is difficult to understand because our line did not move.I used to use the virgin deal , but after being given a couple of out of contract iPhone 4 we went with Genius wireless, we have three phones on the verizon network for just $75 each per yr, there are some other deals for time, data etc, but for pretty low users this is perfect, I only use wifi for data ...worth checking their plans...def a plus for teenagers too, no overspending from my teen.I'm actually quite happy with my iPhone 5, and since I'll be paying less once out of contract, will probably hang onto it a bit longer than I normally would (unless the iPhone 6 is AMAZING or something) I may actually upgrade to a used 5s once the 6 comes out, because I want that motion processor and TouchID.Nice and now if your company buys iPhone 5S (thats if they buy at full price rather than on contract) they wouldn't have to make employees change phones should they wish to change networks if they provided everyone with Verizon 5C/5S models :-) Glad your enjoying your services and iPhone - at the end of the day its your best experience and what ever model + carrier gets you that - is what matters.I'll take my college degree, great job, and my great cell phone service and you can call me low end all day long, but at the end of the day (and my contract) I will have paid less for the same device you have.Got my phone finally in market mall..not too bad a wait..about an hour they had separate lines for unlocked and contract..i got the 16G unlocked one.. Called in Rogers and gave my frustration on why i should pay 399 for iphone4..they couldn't do anything about iphone price as i got my last upgrade last fall..but did get about $40 discount on my monthly bill..wasn't bad i thought..Right now for my parents 1 UDP off contract for my sis Dumb off contract for mom Dumb off contract for dad Will end up with 1) 1 UDP off contract for sis 2) 1 UDP iphone 6 for mom 3) 1 UDP iphone 5s for dad that's the simple part.Worst comes to worst, you buy a Verizon off contract from the Apple store, take it home, try it out and find it doesn't work with your SIM card.Line 1 - HTC One unlimited (off contract) Line 2 - iPhone 5s unlimited (contract) Line 3 - iPhone 5 unlimited (off contract) Line 4 - LG enV3 dumb phone (off contract) Line 5 - LG enV3 dumb phone (contract) I canceled line 4.My line has a contract end date the same year as one of the dumb phones, and the remaining two dumb phones the next year.yeah you need to borrow a phone im worried about my contract and i got $130 left of the ETF to pay before 10-25-14 so i am paranoid about using my iPhone 6 full time and getting caught or having verizon call me we tried the sim at the apple store today.I'm in a similar boat, coming to the end of my 2 year contract with my 5 and I was all set and excited for the 6 but once I tried one in the store, I just wasn't happy with the way it felt in my hand, and now I'm thinking that I might just stick with my 5, it's still just as speedy as ever and just feels nice in my hand, I mean, that new screen is nice and all but I'm not sure it's really worth the money, maybe I'll cave eventually but I'm thinking I'll wait for the 6S and hope they make the camera lens flush again, and remove the silly plastic lines on the back.Contract term doesn't bother me and the new features, while not compelling, are nevertheless appealing. Its great coverage but just not that great for a smartphone bought on contract IMO.It's all very confusing and I'm nervous I'm going to show up to the store and they are going to tell me I can't have the phone unless I extend the contract which I'm obviously not doing.I'm just worried about 1 1/2 years from now, the battery is going to be bad and I'll still be on contract! As others have indicated, these statistics are largely meaningless because the vast majority of the 3.5-4.3" phones are cheap Android devices, the sort of devices that people get for $0 with a contract or $99 without a contract.I'm sure they'll be very sad to see you go though lol... You know, when you think threatening to take your non contract data hogging LTE elsewhere will convince them not to drop your precious unlimited data. You need to delete this post ... Unlock fusion IS LEGIT and provides great service ... And I don't know him but I'm happy cuz my AT&T contract will be cancelled tomorrow... Hello tmobileYup, they have some great options, no activation fees and nice that you can go month to month with no contract.Damn it i was gonna extend my contract tonight but now with this iphone price i dont know what to do.. FULL price is outrageousEven though all this bad press about reception on the iPhone 4 is making me a bit nervous about buying one, my wallet will be open once they release those phones here in Canada (unlocked/no contract of course!I would even roll with having to sign a new two year contract with AT&T, or maybe sign with them getting a cheap free dumb phone and then go back tomorrow and play the lost my microsim game with them.

T-Mobile is awesome...been with them since they started the uncarrier plans and service ( both RF and CS ) is great in Texas and Colorado.T-mobile is a great deal and if you have great service in your area, then nothing can beat it's value for price, unless you travel often and need coverage everywhere.Nice to hear that you are having a great experience with T-Mobile so far. However, T-Mobile becomes a much more compelling choice for customers who are happy with a cheaper Android or Windows phone (like $200-400 off-contract) that they plan to keep for years. So I was poking around some of the other threads - T-Mobile sounds just as bad if not worse than us.All of us who got up before 3 am in the eastern time zone, sat around refreshing the web site for over 2 hours, and couldn't go to a carrier site or the app because we are T-Mobile customers, and then finally gave up and went to bed, and then later woke up and found the shipping times were late October, deserve some kind of acknowledgement.I'm feeling very content and grateful (and excited) considering I accidentally fell back asleep when I was supposed to be getting ready for the pre-order but luckily woke up 3 hours later and got lucky enough to get 7-10 days on the 6+ 64GB with T-Mobile.Oh dear, now you got me worried I don't know, but in Apple's website, T-Mobile is listed as "contract-free" and it's the same price as "unlocked" If someone who bought a T-Mobile 5s last year when it launch could chime in, that would be really helpful!buy it unlocked and got to t-mobile $30 plan or straight talk only way it makes it a smart thing to do...$$$ wiseWe all know for nationwide coverage Verizon and AT&T are the only carriers one should look for and the key word there is "Nationwide" but, where I'm T-Mobile is the best (coverage wise and cost wise) and since I'm 57 years old and use to travel with car Radio and 8-tracks I really don't mind Edge or no service while I'm driving since again the key word there is "Driving" and not playing with my phone .Even though I'm quite happy with T-Mobile because it offers great service for my use pattern and priorities, I'm not going to recommend it to anyone who wants/needs the broadest network coverage possible, and is willing to pay more to get it.As for OP having tiny scuffs around edges etc, Honestly having owned iPhone 5 and 5S right out of the box from Apple and gotten my iPhone 5 replaced twice (due to screen issue and because I wanted the AWS T-Mobile USA Compatible one), both my iPhone 5 replacement units along with brand new came that I originally purchased came with some tiny tiny marks on the shiny edges, but it didn't bother me because my iPhone worked perfectly and I ended selling my iPhone 5 11 months into the year for amazing price and the buyer was extremely happy with it as well. Also T-Mobile have great customer service, perhaps because they have something to prove, regardless I always liked that, people around here associate T-Mobile with people who are less well off financially (its arrogant but thats the type in my area) but from all accounts T-Mobile customers are pretty happy as of lately and it seams everytime I blink they get better and better.I've had both T-Mobile and Virgin Mobile (Sprint towers) and my ST 5S runs off AT&T towers, so therefore I get great coverage and great LTE.lol I can agree with his "fact" because I have met in this day and age some people who don't know all of the US states or where some are...or have never travelled outside of their home state....not to mention [Altho irrelevant] many people that don't even know where Canada is.... As for T-Mobile, I can't wait for them to launch the 700MHz LTE -- that is going to be great and ill definitely give them a go once I have the next iPhone thats compatible with their network! For me and many others T-mobile offers great service and great value. You voice your opinion on what you feel T-Mobile is worth, I offer my opinion on what Verizon is worth.I too wouldn't switch to T-Mobile until their LTE 700 rolls out, I think its going to be a great improvement and worth switching...hopefully T-Mobile can also start working on suburbs/entire nation rather than just concentrating on major cities. You agree not to misuse the Service or Device, including but not limited to: (a) reselling or rebilling our Service; (b) using the Service or Device to engage in unlawful activity, or in conduct that adversely affects our customers, employees, business, or any other person(s), or that interferes with our operations, network, reputation, or ability to provide quality service, including but not limited to the generation or dissemination of viruses, malware or "denial of service" attacks; (c) using the Service as a substitute or backup for private lines or dedicated data connections; (d) tampering with or modifying your T-Mobile Device; (e) "spamming" or engaging in other abusive or unsolicited communications, or any other mass, automated voice or data communication for commercial or marketing purposes; (f) reselling T-Mobile Devices for profit, or tampering with, reprogramming or altering T-Mobile Devices for the purpose of reselling the T-Mobile Device; (g) using the Service in connection with server devices or host computer applications, including continuous Web camera posts or broadcasts, automatic data feeds, automated machine-to-machine connections or peer-to-peer (P2P) file-sharing applications that are broadcast to multiple servers or recipients, "bots" or similar routines that could disrupt net user groups or email use by others or other applications that denigrate network capacity or functionality; (h) accessing, or attempting to access without authority, the information, accounts or devices of others, or to penetrate, or attempt to penetrate, T-Mobile's or another entity's network or systems; (i) running software or other devices that maintain continuously active Internet connections when a computer's connection would otherwise be idle, or "keep alive" functions (e.g.I was on the T-Mobile family plan for almost 6 months, and while the price is great, customer service is great, the actual service is just ok. Too much switching of LTE to 4G in the same spot killing my battery, loss of signal even though i have 3-4 bars, and not having any of these issues on AT&T prepaid, I made the switch back as of today. But if your coverage is comparable, it's a no-brainer that T-Mobile is better price wise and flexibility wise. What is worse, although I haven't been in your situation, I certainly have been in some situations requiring flexibility, and, my nearest T-Mobile store has been very flexible and generous. Now after three months of stellar, very fast unlimited LTE connectivity without throttling even when using over 6GB of data each month, I'm very pleased with T-Mobile and my Note 3.Simplified: AT&T MVNO's: - Net10 [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] If T-Mobile gave you the boot, go with AT&T MVNO's and I recommend: - #1 Straight Talk [Fast 4G + LTE Speeds slightly higher ping rates] - #2 GoPhone [Fastest 4G + LTE Speeds and Lowest Ping] - #3 AIO Wireless [Slightly cheaper than GoPhone with Fast 4G + LTE Speeds with slightly higher ping rates] Net10 and Straight Talk = Exact same except net10 = $5 more unless you do "Auto payment" T-Mobile MVNO's list has grown over the past couple of years maybe because its cheaper for companies to use its network vs AT&T but do note that you get LTE and much better coverage going with AT&T MVNO vs T-Mobile.Dear everyone, I am getting my gold 5s t-mobile unlocked one tomorrow, great to hear it is indeed unlocked, heard about 3/4 different stories from apple employees (even from the same store).Overall I'm very happy with the T-Mobile plan and I'm glad I switched.AT&T is awful in Minneapolis, and T-Mobile isn't great in Baltimore.Since t-mobile offers 15$ a month plan we can buy more iphones and port new lines into t-mobile up to five lines trade in some cheap verizon phones buy some cheap t-mobile phones and month later we get etf gift cards.T-Mobile does this, I think, because they need to dispel the notion that some have that worse coverage in many areas (particularly rural) = worse coverage everywhere. The Ngage was a horrible phone on a horrible service (T-mobile).199 for a Verzion iPhone 6 + 52 tax +32 activation fee -199 for iPhone 4 trade in (CL value is ~70 tops) + prorated service (~55 for one month) = 83+ dollars 10-20 buck verzion CL phone + 50 lumina refurb + 10 sim fee + 120 2 months service T-mobile [worst case scenario] - 20 sell lumia phone =60+ dollars (180 worst case) 180 + 84 = 264 252 is about price I would pay on AT&T for an iPhone 4 + tax.Sprint speeds in the Bay Area are just horrible where I've needed them and T-Mobile has great speeds but inconsistent for me.Buy cheap phone from t-mobile ($50) and trade in a cheap Android phone I have laying around the house I don't use, stay on for 2-3 months for ETF rebate to process, then cancel service .I've been considering switching over to T-mobile when I upgrade my phone (going from a 4S to a 5S), but I can't decide if it'll be worth the MUCH worse coverage for my area. That's weird, I could have swore there was a response in this thread before (maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me), looks like the T-mobile users are pretty furious at this oversight in other forums.I wouldn't consider Sprint because of its network but I'm glad T-Mobile and Spring are fighting it out because I feel like it puts pricing pressure on AT&T and Verizon (who screw people over with their absurd pricing).Switch to T-Mobile or ANYTHING except Verizon, don't let them get away with these greedy evil stunts.Going back to the first comments I made about your experience: Just because T-Mobile has horrible coverage on your street in Boston, doesn't mean they will have horrible coverage everywhere.I had been on AT&T since 2010 and just moved to T-Mobile, as mentioned above, love the unlimited data not to mention the talk and text, my plan on AT&T used to be 450m/1000text/2gb data for a monthly charge of $75+tax and now I have unlimited data/talk/text for $30+tax (add on in a family plan) , its awesome , however the service in my home sometimes drops , when I called Customer Service I was told New Tower installation is imminent.T-Mobile has the worst reliability, the worst data performance, the worst call performance and the worst text performance.T-Mobile is moving to the right direction but it would be great if they can offer a basic $30 plan that gives us limited minutes and Internet. They're even worse than T-Mobile so it's pretty bad.75% of 300 million = 225 million 25% of 300 million = 75 million But yes, T-Mobile would be a bad choice for any customer if the coverage is bad. They are but T-mobile has passed Sprint LTE wise and I'm not fond of counting data so that's where I will land.T-Mobile will still be stuck with abysmal EDGE because they're too cheap to upgrade all sites to at least HSPA.I have been a T-Mobile iPhone user for about a three years now..at first i had to deal with the terrible speed of EDGE since the iPhone is not built to run on T-Mobile's network..about two months ago i was finally able to get 3G on my iPhone 5 thanks to T-Mobile's attempt to upgrade their network to be able to drag more iPhone users to join their network...I'll admit at first i was really excited about this but after two weeks of 3G coming in and out, weak signal, dropping calls i finally said i've had enough, my iPhone would drop from 3G to EDGE at random times and even go NO SERVICE!!

I think Spark is just their fancy marketing term for TD-LTE in Band 41 and 800MHz in Band 26, sort of like how "XLTE" is just a fancy marketing term for Verizon's AWS Band 4 LTE service.just be very nice and ask them to "please help you"....this is what u switched too..blah and that you are so happy with the service you would not want to leave for another carrier but have tested another network and will port the # over and save $'s by doing so.T-Mobile is awesome...been with them since they started the uncarrier plans and service ( both RF and CS ) is great in Texas and Colorado.I have a 128gb iPhone 6+ ..no problems all the rumors(gates) floating around the internet are all BS ..my iphone hasn't bent ..my 128gb tlc hasnt died ..my screen is perfect ..I get better service than on the Note 3 bottom line is ..unless apple acknowledges the problem or someone posts substantive empirical evidence that has been repeated with the same results by another party ...then its a fake rumor you need not trouble yourself withIn my opinion, I think both AT&T and Verizon are greedy but AT&T seems a little more greedier (they throttle unlimited plans, they have a significantly higher price for the note 4, and their single plans are more expensive even with the promo) With that being said, Verizon's customer service has been a nightmare, so to anyone that's happy with AT&T's customer service, I would not recommend them to switch.T-mobile is a great deal and if you have great service in your area, then nothing can beat it's value for price, unless you travel often and need coverage everywhere.great service and great LTE coverage.Unl data promotion is only if you are leaving Sprint, ATT or Verizon, but $25 gift is for all newbies to Simple Choice.. Tmo customer service can be confusing but the referral program is a great bonus for both old and new customers. That was the reason (as we all know In this factory by the sea) That the sidewalk so dark and hard Shattered and killed my iPhone 33 But his service was faster by far than the service Of phones who were older than he Of many far slower than he And neither the angels in factories above Nor the sidewalks down under the sea Can ever dissever my soul from the soul Of the beautiful iPhone 33 For my phone never rings without bringing me dreams Of the beautiful iPhone 33 And so all the night-tide I lie down by the side Of my darling-my darling I weep and I cry In the factory there by the sea On the sidewalk down by the seaI also purchased a basic phone as a second line.... Later in the day i got a phone call saying my card was declined..called and approved but at that point my order was pushed further in the que... waited and waited and nothing changed... until today and kept checking this forum to see where everyone was at....and after finally waiting for so long i gave up and was LUCKY enough to find a device at a Best Buy Mobile store via: idevicechecker.com I would definetely recommend it..got there wiht no line and got my new SILVER 128 gb plus...and I decided to stay with my carrier.. ATT customer service was worthless...they didn't know what they were talking about and was always getting the run around..ontop of that the LG basic phone I ordered was in stock but they never shipped it to me and its always says backordered.....Glad to be of service - it's keeping me sane as well!I've purchased iPhones for as long as they've been out there, sung the praises of Apple to the mountaintops, and slowly filled my home with Macbook, iMac, multiple iPads and iPods, not to mention spent $1000s in music in iTunes...and there's the rub, it's because I've been such a loyal customer, accustomed to wonderful and rapid service, that this botched rollout has raised my ire, this is not what I'm accustomed to with Apple, and galling is a great description of my feelings at present.Apple has great customer service and people seem to be incapable of understanding that you will get better service being nice and honest.Amazing service, great speed, great CS [ in general ] and pricing is very reasonable all things considered.I love their pricing / service / options, but man they're terrible for this kind of thing...Ahh, so happy Apple has such great customer service.I've never heard of a company being so unconcerned and impervious to customer service. Not bad for "horrible" service.Faster delivery, amazing customer service, trustworthyI am excited for the iPhone for life plan they launched and ordered my 6+ Space Grey 16GB online...I am going to try out the store on Friday to see if I can get one that way faster though I used to live in a more remote area and Verizon was great there with the i5 and LTE but now that I am moving to a much bigger city Sprint service really won't be a problem at all and I'm excited for UNLIMITED data planI was moving my lines from AT&T after moving to a place where AT&T does not serve the area so I am dying here without any phone service!I was moving my lines from AT&T after moving to a place where AT&T does not serve the area so I am dying here without any phone service! One thing you always can trust Apple for is an amazing quality of product, and also an amazing quality of service if something is wrong with that product.Having a FAST LTE on a plan that is not unlimited can be problematic so it would be nice to have Sprint as an option (of course assuming you are in a Sprint LTE service area). We all know for nationwide coverage Verizon and AT&T are the only carriers one should look for and the key word there is "Nationwide" but, where I'm T-Mobile is the best (coverage wise and cost wise) and since I'm 57 years old and use to travel with car Radio and 8-tracks I really don't mind Edge or no service while I'm driving since again the key word there is "Driving" and not playing with my phone .Even though I'm quite happy with T-Mobile because it offers great service for my use pattern and priorities, I'm not going to recommend it to anyone who wants/needs the broadest network coverage possible, and is willing to pay more to get it.Service us great and the plans are wonderful.Overall, it's a great service and I'm happy to use FreedomPop.we believe that we can provide you quite satisfactory service & deliver amazing merchandise at low cost.Service was great (then again, I've had good service with AT&T as well, lucky I guess). They had great service and I was super happy. You got lucky Great customer service to still take care of you even after the warranty coverage expired. Also T-Mobile have great customer service, perhaps because they have something to prove, regardless I always liked that, people around here associate T-Mobile with people who are less well off financially (its arrogant but thats the type in my area) but from all accounts T-Mobile customers are pretty happy as of lately and it seams everytime I blink they get better and better. If you all have great service with TMO it might be worth it to stick with them for that reason. My coworker let me borrow one of his lines and test AT&T because I told him my test with my Verizon iPhone last month was an epic fail Turns out this test was flawless at my home using his account So yesterday Verizon lost my 3 line account to AT&T- I had to get my iPhone 5s reprovisioned again which was the issue the last time and why service was so slow on AT&TFor me and many others T-mobile offers great service and great value. They have great customer service and always have great reception in the Phoenix area.End result is, I'm not the least bit impressed with new LTE service download speeds are just as bad if not worst that with old sim and it cost me about $300 in upgrades to find this out.You agree not to misuse the Service or Device, including but not limited to: (a) reselling or rebilling our Service; (b) using the Service or Device to engage in unlawful activity, or in conduct that adversely affects our customers, employees, business, or any other person(s), or that interferes with our operations, network, reputation, or ability to provide quality service, including but not limited to the generation or dissemination of viruses, malware or "denial of service" attacks; Too much switching of LTE to 4G in the same spot killing my battery, loss of signal even though i have 3-4 bars, and not having any of these issues on AT&T prepaid, I made the switch back as of today. You won't find anywhere that I said Sprint was great and that 3G service was wonderful. And if you aren't happy with any of their repairs or service just let them know there customer service is great at making things right.I also ported my number successfully, their customer service is great and you always get some sexy British representative in seconds as its a British company.2nd: the ideal scenario will involve some kind of software/ app/ call through, callback/ ring-through service that will allow me to dial out to a business contact using my business caller ID, from the personal number. With their recent adaption to a smart phone plan I've been quite pleased with data speeds and service coverage.Yep, agreed, but like you mentioned, to me Price is a consideration, however for me, if I had to pay a little more for better service, then it is worth it, if I were paying a little less for mediocre service not so bad, but to pay T-Mob $150.00 per month for 3 lines which is slightly lower then my bill now, and to have 1/2 the service, I can not do it.I'll take my college degree, great job, and my great cell phone service and you can call me low end all day long, but at the end of the day (and my contract) I will have paid less for the same device you have.I want to keep this phone bad but constantly having no service and edge (just as useless, cant even make calls) in my own room is kind of a dealbreaker.Very happy with AT&T customer service (always had great experiences with them)!Yeah I thought about that but I've been with Virgin for 5-6 years now and always had great customer service and I really like their plan (they have great ones for students).Their service seems to get notoriously worse and worse.People rag on Apple, some issues to be sure but great customer service is worth a lot.I just get tired of people complaining about reception and service, but they stick with the carrier because they are afraid of change, or too lazy to do the research. You seem like the questionable one here, siding with a company known for horrible customer service and wanting to get users off grand fathered unlimited plans at all costs.I did not realize that Sprint had such a terrible customer service... it's really puzzling since they are not even in a dominant position compared to say Verizon or AT&T, so one would think that they would be trying to provide better service, rather than the worst. So yes, they'll get angry when retailers shutting down their terminals just because they want to shove their inferior service down our throats.I am sure A LOT of people are tired of the unfair prices of a bad valued service. One time I took my SIM card out in a bad signal area and put it bag in and I had no service for about an hour even when I got back onto the Interstate from a friends house....something weird with Verizon and LTE iPhone's....I found Verizon to be one of the worst services I've used (more so than T-Mo), from dropped calls and some of the worst customer service I've experienced. With the FCC unlocking policy changing effective Feb 2015 (although not retroactive) and the overturning of the insane law that made unlocking phones from outside the provider illegal I would go ahead and get it fully unlocked from one of those websites....Sprint are insane with their strict UICC SIM card being locked to the phone and only allow one unlock per account per year....I mean God knows they need it since their company sucks, I hope this changes because even though I didn't like Sprint's past and current service and deployment plan the new CEO is really changing things up to a more sensible solution. The Ngage was a horrible phone on a horrible service (T-mobile).Personally, I think overall the service is better in my normal stomping ground, and 'good enough' everywhere else until next year when things are all rolled out -- and I'm tired of paying evil companies like AT&T, Verizon, and Comcast, and whenever I have a choice, I will avoid buying services from them.199 for a Verzion iPhone 6 + 52 tax +32 activation fee -199 for iPhone 4 trade in (CL value is ~70 tops) + prorated service (~55 for one month) = 83+ dollars 10-20 buck verzion CL phone + 50 lumina refurb + 10 sim fee + 120 2 months service T-mobile [worst case scenario] - 20 sell lumia phone =60+ dollars (180 worst case) 180 + 84 = 264 252 is about price I would pay on AT&T for an iPhone 4 + tax.worst case, if the service gets that bad, ill go back to att on a family share plan.Frustrated and angry at this incredibly poor customer service from UPS....will never do business with them again.- pathetic , incompetent service oh yeah and it's still in Korea! It's the worst service at the worst price. The Customer service rep was rude and acted like i was dumb and seriously used "lol" in the chat.... And every time I have a question they NEVER answer my question they use a damn script.VZW: Pro's: VoLTE Better LTE coverage Con's: Horrible International Rates/Plans VoLTE speeds seem to be slower than 3G for many (still early though) Terrible Customer Service Tons of "extra's" popping up AT&T: Pro's: GSM Voice+Data - 4G, not LTE, but seems faster than VZW's VoLTE Best International Plans Con's: Abysmal LTE coverage I've found both carriers to be fairly equal with dropped calls, my concerns are international rates, VoLTE on VZW, AT&T's LTE commitment.Ranting on twitter about the HORRIBLE UNACCEPTABLE customer service I have received with no resolution to my issue in sight, an AT&T rep responded and asked for my account details.Used sndeep service to check it and this is what I got: Model: IPHONE 6 SPACE GRAY 64GB TMOBILE-USA IMEI: 3520XXXXXXXXXX MEID: Serial Number: F1XXXXXXXXXXXXX ICCID: Bluetooth MAC Address: XXXXXXXXXXXXX WiFi MAC Address: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Activated: false Next Tether Activation Policy: Multi-Mode Unlock Original Carrier: Multi-Mode Unlock Network Unlocked: false So, it looks like as soon as the phone can dial into Apple, the unlock will happen if I understand this report correctly.Buy cheap phone from t-mobile ($50) and trade in a cheap Android phone I have laying around the house I don't use, stay on for 2-3 months for ETF rebate to process, then cancel service .They have great coverage but boy is there customer service freakin horrible. They have bad customer service, expensive tariffs and are just a bit awful. They're website seems absurd to pick a decent plan from and if they're wireless customer service is anything like their internet service, I don't think I'll be happy with them.I live in a rural area and their service has gotten worse and worse.No...because they have a terrible network and everyone I know that has Sprint has bad service.I'm annoyed, so I call the customer service number from the website, and I tell the person that I wasn't happy with the service I received in the apple store, they ask for which store, and when I tell them, they're like "okay, I'll connect you to the store manager" and before I can say anything, they transfer.I see a lot of posts saying service was as bad or worse than expected.iPhone5s Defective Battery - Genius Bar Rejection Twice, horrible AppleCare Service *Reported all these issues, Apple is now "investigating it" Whatever means, just s slap on the wrist for them*After having consistently terrible service at our new home last year (to the point of getting a MicroCell) I placed a call to AT&T to try and figure out why my service was so bad.I saw really no difference in the 2 services tho I was worried when I would travel or go places because when you visit Tmobile they mention all the places it doesn't work that I never experienced when I was with verizon(awful awful customer service) or AT&T(ask to speak to a manager and you will get 2-4 free months of service). It even faired excellent during the infamous Ice Storm this Christmas, when most of my friends on other networks got bad service with connection drops, interferences, etc, or no service at all.My attempt was to share what I heard from a friend who Is unhappy with their service in NYC not to discount others with perfect Verizon service in NYC I'm done with this thread OP my suggestion is do a trial and see if it works for you.of the folks going to the Genius Bar have a genuine concern and issue, there are a good number who are trying to cheat the system, make unreasonable demands, feel entitled, or are unreasonably obsessive over the slightest thing Personally, I have a lot of sympathy for anyone in customer service who has to deal with people who are rude, arrogant, entitled, idiots, sneaky and more Customer service of any kind is typically a thankless job with little reward I'm not saying all Geniuses are angels themselves, but I tend to believe much of the vitriol directed at them is unjustifiedMost stores here in Canada have bad customer service these days or horrible pre sale assistance.I had been on AT&T since 2010 and just moved to T-Mobile, as mentioned above, love the unlimited data not to mention the talk and text, my plan on AT&T used to be 450m/1000text/2gb data for a monthly charge of $75+tax and now I have unlimited data/talk/text for $30+tax (add on in a family plan) , its awesome , however the service in my home sometimes drops , when I called Customer Service I was told New Tower installation is imminent. Here's the strange thing about my service.....I can have terrible service one day and then decent service the very next day, same exact location (standing in my front yard). It can be very frustrating, and usually the companies doing this have very lousy customer service if you ever do have a problem.I get amazing 4g/lte speeds but it would be nice if tmobile would include unlimited 4g/lte on all lines included in the price or unlimited hotspot so that I can cancel my home internet service. After 2.5GB, they will throttle you to less than 1 Mbps which is awful and visual voicemail may or may not work and their customer service are worst.I actually had my iPhone 5 replaced today which had the same issue but it was replaced because it was getting noticeably worse service and there was a lot of dust in the camera lens which was throwing off pictures and also the phone was dropping service but anyway, my battery drain is gone, plus especially on "4G" not LTE, its not draining even close to as bad as before even with only 1-3 dots of servicePeople run over to Sprint trying to save a few bucks a year and end up sorely disappointed and/or frustrated with the poor service.Swift unlock is very rude and disrespectful,He called my cousin a wetback and nikka because he was told his service is too slow.very racist people..stay away from swift unlock/unlock fusion.I have been a T-Mobile iPhone user for about a three years now..at first i had to deal with the terrible speed of EDGE since the iPhone is not built to run on T-Mobile's network..about two months ago i was finally able to get 3G on my iPhone 5 thanks to T-Mobile's attempt to upgrade their network to be able to drag more iPhone users to join their network...I'll admit at first i was really excited about this but after two weeks of 3G coming in and out, weak signal, dropping calls i finally said i've had enough, my iPhone would drop from 3G to EDGE at random times and even go NO SERVICE!!You need to delete this post ... Unlock fusion IS LEGIT and provides great service ... And I don't know him but I'm happy cuz my AT&T contract will be cancelled tomorrow... Hello tmobileChristopher: We called about that before and the lady and her supervisor were so rude and unwilling to look into it, I was very close to closing the account all together, but my son actually convinced me not to because he loves your service Alfonso : I understood that and we appreciate you for staying with us.Rogers really is terrible and their customer service is just as bad.
price
I wont be buying a smart watch until these 3 things are met: Price no more than $150 Can be used with any smartphone platform Battery should last at least a week without charging I would also be interested in more smart watches like the Samsung s which don't require a smartphone but are cheaper maybe around $250 and last at least a week without charging.Well then i stand corrected..and glad you were one of the lucky ones who got it back.....i was just going by what a retentions agent told me.....but she also told me that there is 1 spvr in charge of this plan who can also add it back.. Thats a great deal too...and comes close the 20 for 10 for the same price.......but if you dont need a ton of data then a great value is if you can get retentions to match verizons 10 gigs for price of 6 for 80 bucks...cuz you will get the 15 buck device charge with that deal too...and slap a fan discount on in and your payin about 62.50 for the data.......nicei have 4 lines...2 of them unlimiteds...its great to stream everything and never have to worry about going over a cap and getting overages....and even after im throttled websites stil open fast cuz of low pings....and netflix still works perfect....and youtube doesnt buffer after its turned to 144 or 260 resolution ....and if the courts make att stop throttling then that will be huge.... You have a great plan...especially with 5 lines with subsidies....and when you start paying full price for new phones on mobile share and next program. In my opinion, I think both AT&T and Verizon are greedy but AT&T seems a little more greedier (they throttle unlimited plans, they have a significantly higher price for the note 4, and their single plans are more expensive even with the promo) With that being said, Verizon's customer service has been a nightmare, so to anyone that's happy with AT&T's customer service, I would not recommend them to switch.I spent a few days last week watching craigslist last week and bought a sealed iPhone 6 Plus 64GB Gray last Friday for $725.00 - Activated, went to Apple store grabbed a leather case and an extra lighting cable for use with an old iPad charger for use as my travel charger (Supposedly it charges faster with the bigger iPad charger) Anyway, if you're tired of waiting or don't want to be stuck in a contract paying way over full price for a phone, this is a great alternative.T-mobile is a great deal and if you have great service in your area, then nothing can beat it's value for price, unless you travel often and need coverage everywhere.if you contact them and they don't have any records of the mistake consider yourself lucky and go about your life I've never heard of any of these things I'm reading in this thread such as back dated payments, 10 months later having to pay for the phone full price this is ridiculous lol its just like walking down the street and you find $20 on the ground, it was ur lucky day enjoy.I got excited and I jumped on the deal right away because I had been searching all over for this particular combination and finally found it at a great price.I'm honest, considerate, and knowledgable; and I'm being beaten out on price because I'm doing things honestly.Great phone and now at a great price. So Im reading this thread and kind of excited that I may actually be able to get an iPhone 6 since the thing that was holding me back was having to pay full price to keep my unlimited data. Thanks for the link...been looking all over online for a nice one and aside from dockplus.com, which is very similar to the one you posted, but literally twice the price (and too much in my opinion for a dock) I hadn't found something really nice, simple and elegant.I use protect my bubble Great price and great reviewI was happy to pay for full price for an out of contract phone (TMobile) - They never used the reservation system - We were told the store had all skus in stock, and based on our spot in line, we'd get what we want - Our line just stopped moving - Come 1:00 - we heard - second hand - all the 6P inventory was gone - which is difficult to understand because our line did not move. The unlimited plan would have offered $450 worth of subsidy per phone every two years, so $1800 worth of "free" money to put towards phones... however, saving $100/mo ends up being $2400 over two years, so they would actually come out $600 ahead even though they are now paying full price for their phones on AT&T Next. They justify a TPE slip case riddled with holes as "creative" and "luxurious" and slap a $30 price tag on it when its worth about $0.99 all over eBay.So the buyer got a pristine phone that was unlocked and was happy with the price and I was happy that it was a painless transaction.I'm looking at upgrading, but the price of the iPhone 6, as nice as it is and perfect in size to me, is making me seriously consider the new Moto X and switching to Android.Sure, it would be nice if the 32 GB was the base version for the same price as the 16 GB one was....just as it would be nice to get more extra options in a car for the price of the based model with no options.Oh dear, now you got me worried I don't know, but in Apple's website, T-Mobile is listed as "contract-free" and it's the same price as "unlocked" If someone who bought a T-Mobile 5s last year when it launch could chime in, that would be really helpful!Something "irrelevant and small" can't justify anything except an irrelevant and small increase in price.I think that using sapphire glass is a brilliant idea, making the screen so that it doesn't scratch is great business sense for Apple, they make a phone where you don't need a screen protector and they can bump up the price to compensate.I use Instacast because it is simple, intuitive, beautiful, and a decent price ($1.99).Either way carriers would destroy allot of their user base if they got rid of subsidizing because that would end contracts...Verizon already has that program where you essentially "lease" your phone like a car...I'm guessing the pre-paid revolution is either scaring them or costing them a little.. Another funny thing that inflates the price of a smart phone: CDMA2000 only!As for OP having tiny scuffs around edges etc, Honestly having owned iPhone 5 and 5S right out of the box from Apple and gotten my iPhone 5 replaced twice (due to screen issue and because I wanted the AWS T-Mobile USA Compatible one), both my iPhone 5 replacement units along with brand new came that I originally purchased came with some tiny tiny marks on the shiny edges, but it didn't bother me because my iPhone worked perfectly and I ended selling my iPhone 5 11 months into the year for amazing price and the buyer was extremely happy with it as well. It's not because eBay sells thousands of phones a day it's a good place for an individual seller to expect a quick sale, an honest price, or just set it and forget it kind of sale. One year old great tech with a price drop can't be the worst tech of the new year.Dear Members I would like to upgrade my iPhone 5 64 GB to iPhone 5S I have found that since I have the iPad 128 GB, I have not used the iPhone to its full capacity I was going to get the iPhone 5S 64G but the price difference between the 16 GB and 64 model makes me think whether it is worth it As I have the iPad 128 GB , I wonder whether it would be a waste to buy the iPhone 5S 64 GB Perhaps some of you are in the same situation or gve me ideas of situations in which having both with high capacity would be useful ThanksBut than 6 months down the road, I tell you I will give you a great deal and sell you the premiums for a fabulous price of $200/month.I was on the T-Mobile family plan for almost 6 months, and while the price is great, customer service is great, the actual service is just ok. It's not bad IMO at all and if you ignore taxes/fees for a second it's almost the same exact price as a goPhone plan, which I've always found to be a great value.Kind of nice to have LTE at such a cheaper price :] P.S.Nice and now if your company buys iPhone 5S (thats if they buy at full price rather than on contract) they wouldn't have to make employees change phones should they wish to change networks if they provided everyone with Verizon 5C/5S models :-) Glad your enjoying your services and iPhone - at the end of the day its your best experience and what ever model + carrier gets you that - is what matters.Yep, agreed, but like you mentioned, to me Price is a consideration, however for me, if I had to pay a little more for better service, then it is worth it, if I were paying a little less for mediocre service not so bad, but to pay T-Mob $150.00 per month for 3 lines which is slightly lower then my bill now, and to have 1/2 the service, I can not do it.* I've noticed similar posts across the web regarding the issue with the lightning connector port, and iDevices are not cheap in price or in construction, hopefully Apple will address this design flaw in their otherwise spectacular products.Glad I never paid that for my Sealed 1st Gen. Reason I bought it because it was such a great price.Got my phone finally in market mall..not too bad a wait..about an hour they had separate lines for unlocked and contract..i got the 16G unlocked one.. Called in Rogers and gave my frustration on why i should pay 399 for iphone4..they couldn't do anything about iphone price as i got my last upgrade last fall..but did get about $40 discount on my monthly bill..wasn't bad i thought..Do you think it's wise to call retentions before the iPhone 4 comes out...if they lower my plan cost I won't be in the $100 a month range and might not qualify for the early upgrade price, although my billing cycle is on the 25th of every month so I might get lucky there. One thing for sure though, now that Apple is offering us the unlocked iPhone I think it will force the companies to offer amazing deals to keep us locked in....if they do, I'll definitely be happy to save the money and sign again...I figure I'm going to need a phone for another 3 year anyhow, so if the price is right, I will.Looking at Android's premium market compared to iOS(iOS is only premium, Apple obviously doesn't sell anything not premium price) they are alot closer then you think, which says alot considering Apple is only one OEM , compared to the other OEM's on Android pushing out premium flagships left and right Your post says "its a very good OS, user base alone is proof of that" when really the user base is majorly consisted of cheap Android devices, it has such a big user base because Android is cheapDamn, its sad to see people put such a small price on life.It can be "excellent", but the difference in value between "excellent" and "flawless" usually amounts to less than the price of the case that was required to keep it flawless (and no one wants your old case lol...).199 for a Verzion iPhone 6 + 52 tax +32 activation fee -199 for iPhone 4 trade in (CL value is ~70 tops) + prorated service (~55 for one month) = 83+ dollars 10-20 buck verzion CL phone + 50 lumina refurb + 10 sim fee + 120 2 months service T-mobile [worst case scenario] - 20 sell lumia phone =60+ dollars (180 worst case) 180 + 84 = 264 252 is about price I would pay on AT&T for an iPhone 4 + tax.Until such time it is annoying at best and a malicious attempt at share price manipulation. It's the worst service at the worst price.I stand by their design because I paid full price for my i6+ and it's just ludicrous to hear people yap out false scenarios of their phones bending.I tried my luck and waited for 45 minutes the agent i got was pretty cool but he told there was nothing he can do about it and that all orders are getting expedited, i don't know if its true but he told me that he have received a lot of calls about from people with shipping dates November + including himself; anyway if i can get 6 plus locally at a fair price i might bite and cancel the pre-order, the sad part is my first order got cancel with a "nice" 7-10 days shipping but my new one is 3-4 weeks lol.Worse comes to worse they did offer her 6gb for the same price as unlimited, which is way more than she needs since she is not a heavy user. Was going to buy a 5.5 incher -expected it to be $100 more than the counter part - Check, aint mad cause its better -Was going to get 32GB for the price of $400 - Im getting an extra 32GB for the price I was gonna pay CHECK -Has better battery, screen, camera, ipad landscape - Check -Releases same day as 4.7 - Check Everything I was worried about was alleviated.Still looks damn ugly, round edges and big bands on the back... Looks like a fisher price toy phone Won't be buying one if that is a legit 6Apple rely on releasing such a pitiful base spec that most people are forced to buy an enhanced version for an outrageous price hike.Less excited than with the 4S release - and certainly not excited about a potential increase in price! With 5 lines, if you share the 10GB (which would likely only be sharing between 3 lines since 2 are dumb phones), it's $100 for data, then $15/line... so $100 + $75 = $175/month (not including taxes or any discounts you may have) (NOTE: tethering is included) You just have to remember that phone upgrades aren't included in that price at all, so anytime any of the 5 lines need to be upgraded/replaced, you are left with buying the phone outright or going NEXT (or the traditional subsidized route which isn't even worth considering IMO.)I get amazing 4g/lte speeds but it would be nice if tmobile would include unlimited 4g/lte on all lines included in the price or unlimited hotspot so that I can cancel my home internet service.Or what cheap price.. Best common rational aswer is they are not ready, second one is they made mistake and stubborn.I wouldn't have originally paid new-unit price for a refurbished unit, so I'm not exactly inclined to change that position because I was unlucky enough to get a defective unit be inconvenienced by the manufacturer's failure to catch the defect.Damn I envy some of you guys with those cheap price plans...Unlimited talk/text and unlimited data is nice, but that price just isn't worth it in my opinion.Damn it i was gonna extend my contract tonight but now with this iphone price i dont know what to do.. FULL price is outrageous

Went from the 6 to the 6 Plus and am beyond absolutely happy and satisfied and glad that I did, no regrets at all and i am already used to the Plus now...the bigger screen and 1080p panel, the OIS, and espcially the noticeably better battery life of the Plus makes it feel like a big upgrade from past iPhones and a legit upgrade...I am absolutely in love with my Plus, if you dont mind a Note 3 sized phone/phablet , the Plus is the way to go, I promise you wont be let down The thinness and tapered edges makes this device great to hold in hand IMO, and keeps it slim and very tolerable and lighter and skinnier in pocket due to its form factor OIS is the smallest reason to upgrade to the 6 Plus, but OIS most certainly does help in low light and makes the Plus produce better images then the 6, you picked a bad few examples, OIS helps quite a bit in low light On a 6 Plus here, came from a 6 , and have noticed absolutely no difference in performance, both scream and peform blazing fast and give fantastic graphical details in games alongside with superb high frame rate, Vainglory looks and plays beyond amazing on my Plus I agree to this, 6 Plus performs just as blazing fast and stupdenously fast as the 6 I switched from which I had own for over a month and a halfThis, this website is superb and it helped me find a 6 Plus 64 Gb in stock right at my local Apple store, I got the 4.7 inch 6 on Launch date, and I had it for about a month, I loved it but the Plus was looking so luring and amazing once I got to play with it a few times, I was so sure at first I didnt ever want the Plus, but then I started envying it, and then My brother ended up buying this Plus at Apple and we traded my 4.7 inch i6 with Applecare + on it for a 64 gb 6 plus for me, and I honestly couldnt be anymore satisfied and happy with this, I am beyond happy I got the plus, I love this thing and Im already use to the size, the thinness of the device is truly what makes this phablet actually very tolerable imo and its very slim in the pocket, The bigger screen alongside with the stupendously good battery life alone is beyond worth it and also OIS, All other phones just feel tiny now to me hah, TLDR: switched from a 6 (never thought id get a phablet) to a Plus and i am beyond in love with this thing and i am beyond satisifed and happy i went from the 6 to the 6 PlusI am still going back and forth and probaly will for the next month but overall I think I will go with the Watch and the 5S simply because the Watch is so appealing and exciting to meThanks all, I talked to a very nice woman in retentions, (on-line didn't help that said just to call in) but I got my single line to $65 a month for unlimited talk/text and 4GB of Data, so that is pretty awesome! It was worth the upgrade for me & only $30 more a month isn't bad.I am quite excited because I have liked these handheld elegant sleek apple products like the iPod touch 5th generation which I bought a month after it came out.My coworker let me borrow one of his lines and test AT&T because I told him my test with my Verizon iPhone last month was an epic fail Turns out this test was flawless at my home using his account So yesterday Verizon lost my 3 line account to AT&T- I had to get my iPhone 5s reprovisioned again which was the issue the last time and why service was so slow on AT&Ti pay $74 a month i do consider myself lucky because i have an awesome plan for my iphone 5s!You are the perfect candidate for prepaid... Aio's $40 a month plan out the door for unlimited, talk, text and 250 MB of data would be perfect. That means for my plan 20 gb of data goes from 200 a month to 150 and the smart phones each drop from 30 to 15 I have a total of 7 smart phones on my account. Now after three months of stellar, very fast unlimited LTE connectivity without throttling even when using over 6GB of data each month, I'm very pleased with T-Mobile and my Note 3.My home button feels very solid and no strange angles when depressed which I noticed all the phones in the apple store had this issue on launch month. Here's an additional bonus- you can often find ST refills on EBay for really great prices (around $30-35 month per line which is amazing deal..) Just make sure you only buy from high feedback sellers.AT&T Family Share Plan 4 Smart Phones (iPhone 5s, iPhone 5, iPhone 4s, Samsung Galaxy S3) Unlimited phone/text Personal Hotspot also included 6 GB data (shared) $239/mo total (including 17% discount from work) Would cost ~$10 more per month to increase data to 10 GB (Data costs $30 more, but cost per phone goes down $5 ea) A nice feature is that are staggered, so we can upgrade a phone every 5 or 6 months.boy am I glad I kept my unlimited data with AT&T, since moving to the 5s from the 4s, my usage SEEMS to have gone from 400-500, to over 2GB a month. The rep was extremely friendly and said that it had already been waived and that the credit will show on the next billing cycle ... That's weird, I didn't even contact them before that to get it waived, I'm still not sure if it's an error or if it's going to show up next month but if it does I'll probably just contact them and tell them it was supposed to be waived.LTE in Chicago, IL near Downtown on this plan :-) I have done half a dozen speed tests, over 500 emails this month, messaging, google maps GPS navigation on probably 200-300miles worth, few hours of pandora streaming and I've used 1.2GB of data this month....still got 8 more days and 800MB remaining, this plan is great!Yep, agreed, but like you mentioned, to me Price is a consideration, however for me, if I had to pay a little more for better service, then it is worth it, if I were paying a little less for mediocre service not so bad, but to pay T-Mob $150.00 per month for 3 lines which is slightly lower then my bill now, and to have 1/2 the service, I can not do it.We are with ATT 4 people on a 700 minute plan 2 people on a 500 minute plan 1 iphone with 2G plan 2 smart phones with $15 data plan unlimited texting unlimited nights, weekends, mobile to mobile yada yada Insurance on the 2 smart phones Add in all the crazy fees and you are talking about $300+ a month.I know that most people think the Share Everything plan sucks and is a cheap plan, but for our family it works out great and leaves TON's of data leftover at the end of the month that could be used for tethering (since it's free with the Share Everything plan), downloading, etc.Do you think it's wise to call retentions before the iPhone 4 comes out...if they lower my plan cost I won't be in the $100 a month range and might not qualify for the early upgrade price, although my billing cycle is on the 25th of every month so I might get lucky there.watch out for "iPhone for life" if you terminate your agreement you must pay ALL future device payments and then you have to either hand them your phone or you have to take their purchase option so for example if i lease an iPhone 6 64 gb for $25 a month and i have 21 months left, i have to surrender my iPhone PLUS pay them $525 i guess the purchase option would be another $224 i am sick of people calling this deal a rental going around and making sure all the various news sites telling you how bad the iPhone 4 life program is almost as futile of trying to destroy every last copy of Star Wars the Holiday Special if i pay the future device payments plus take the purchase option, i bet i still won't get an unlockThe 6 Plus considerably outperforms the Note 4, it gets noticeably better on screen frame rate in games and 3D applications then the Note 4(which also translate to smoother UI performance and stuff like that, there is no reason why the Note 4 stutters and lags in native phone app when scrolling and just scrolling through the home screen) There are tons of demonstrations and benchmarks that clearly show the 6 Plus is the better performer, both off screen/on screen results, it isnt a comparison Nexus 6 suffers from terribly slow read/write speeds due to the FDE in Lollipop, and also Lollipop is completly bug ridden right now You can mention Facebook as a indicator because alot of Android apps still lag and are pretty ******, alot of apps share in common with the Facebook app in terms of performance, its abysmal and sad, the worse GPU/CPU performance and worse battery life is why i went with the 6 Plus over the Note 4 You must of missed or are intentionally deluding/blocking your self out from all the real world/benchmark results that showed the 6 Plus beating the Note 4 about a month ago (Anandtech, few others reporting this ) Hey, Apple is doing something really right though if it offers better performance then the current smartphone competition right now though (better GPU/CPU performance then the 805) and also offers better battery life then current Snapdragon 805 offerings People complain about the "RAM " issue on iOS devices meanwhile Android devices with 2-3x more RAM are still reloading and refreshing applications just as much if not more then iOS devices....oh Android fans...the ironySince t-mobile offers 15$ a month plan we can buy more iphones and port new lines into t-mobile up to five lines trade in some cheap verizon phones buy some cheap t-mobile phones and month later we get etf gift cards.I am suspicious because of the past behaviour of industry and from the fact that the pricing for cell phone plans is so convoluted: you must purchase a $20 per month data plan on an iPhone subsidized plan at Canadian carriers.199 for a Verzion iPhone 6 + 52 tax +32 activation fee -199 for iPhone 4 trade in (CL value is ~70 tops) + prorated service (~55 for one month) = 83+ dollars 10-20 buck verzion CL phone + 50 lumina refurb + 10 sim fee + 120 2 months service T-mobile [worst case scenario] - 20 sell lumia phone =60+ dollars (180 worst case) 180 + 84 = 264 252 is about price I would pay on AT&T for an iPhone 4 + tax.If you using phone 2 x a month...buy a cheap dumb phone or get one for free with upgrade instead of paying $800+ on a phone you don't use.If you want your phone for the 2 times a month someone calls you, buy a cheap dumb phone (you can get them for free with upgrade) and buy an ipad for your data needs. That's great but let's not act as if 11 million in a month isn't impressive as hell still.I figured something was up, so I did a mock edge upgrade, only to find my account locked for upgrading because my MEID didn't match the one on my agreement (my device had been replaced with Asurion and they gave me this awful S4 instead of a Moto X, unless I wanted to wait a month to get a functioning phone). If not Im not really worried about it though it is kinda annoying I won't get mad at AT&T until it doesn't show up next week, then ill be mad for a few hours and then just wait the estimated month. The only issue I've run into is that at some point you really do need to put a SIM card for the dumb phone line into a dumb phone, or else you need to call in once a month to get the data plan removed. It's the same thing every time we have one of these.... Everyone gets all spun up and Apple Logos appear in their eyes....We make ludicrous posts about how Apple is the greatest and we can't wait to stand in line at 3 am to purchase it.... And then the Keynote happens and we will come back and say what an awful update that was and how underwhelmed we are by the newest Apple offerings....Then we may buy it...We may preorder it but only because the battery life sucks on the 6 month old 5S we currently have....We can hope for a month I guess, but going by the leaks I'm afraid we will be disappointed$60 less per month is great, but not great enough given the coverage difference, especially because the LTE per line drops to 1 GB (really not enough) in 2015.Eight month old iPhone 5 still on iOS 6.x and it is so erratic in how the battery drops in percentage on Apple's own battery meter to be unreliable.I was scared that the iPhone 5s would have bad battery life because I had a 5C for about a month and I'll tell you it wasn't anything like this. It's crazy when the ipad retina cost only $500 and the iPod touch 32GB cost only $300 The only better thing about the iPhone is the camera and the newer hardware The loan is stupid because the phone companies are greedy to charge people $80 a month for 2 years is insaneAfter a month of near-continious work, the machine bits are starting to get worn out and the workers more and more tired and frustrated -- after working long, arduous hours making the August-batch phones.Yup, they have some great options, no activation fees and nice that you can go month to month with no contract.Ok it's bad enough that we had to wait an extra month in Canada for this bloody phone, considering we are part of North America, that is bogus.

i have 4 lines...2 of them unlimiteds...its great to stream everything and never have to worry about going over a cap and getting overages....and even after im throttled websites stil open fast cuz of low pings....and netflix still works perfect....and youtube doesnt buffer after its turned to 144 or 260 resolution ....and if the courts make att stop throttling then that will be huge.... You have a great plan...especially with 5 lines with subsidies....and when you start paying full price for new phones on mobile share and next program.I spent a few days last week watching craigslist last week and bought a sealed iPhone 6 Plus 64GB Gray last Friday for $725.00 - Activated, went to Apple store grabbed a leather case and an extra lighting cable for use with an old iPad charger for use as my travel charger (Supposedly it charges faster with the bigger iPad charger) Anyway, if you're tired of waiting or don't want to be stuck in a contract paying way over full price for a phone, this is a great alternative.if you contact them and they don't have any records of the mistake consider yourself lucky and go about your life I've never heard of any of these things I'm reading in this thread such as back dated payments, 10 months later having to pay for the phone full price this is ridiculous lol its just like walking down the street and you find $20 on the ground, it was ur lucky day enjoy. So Im reading this thread and kind of excited that I may actually be able to get an iPhone 6 since the thing that was holding me back was having to pay full price to keep my unlimited data.I was happy to pay for full price for an out of contract phone (TMobile) - They never used the reservation system - We were told the store had all skus in stock, and based on our spot in line, we'd get what we want - Our line just stopped moving - Come 1:00 - we heard - second hand - all the 6P inventory was gone - which is difficult to understand because our line did not move. The unlimited plan would have offered $450 worth of subsidy per phone every two years, so $1800 worth of "free" money to put towards phones... however, saving $100/mo ends up being $2400 over two years, so they would actually come out $600 ahead even though they are now paying full price for their phones on AT&T Next.Nice and now if your company buys iPhone 5S (thats if they buy at full price rather than on contract) they wouldn't have to make employees change phones should they wish to change networks if they provided everyone with Verizon 5C/5S models :-) Glad your enjoying your services and iPhone - at the end of the day its your best experience and what ever model + carrier gets you that - is what matters.I stand by their design because I paid full price for my i6+ and it's just ludicrous to hear people yap out false scenarios of their phones bending.Damn it i was gonna extend my contract tonight but now with this iphone price i dont know what to do.. FULL price is outrageous
4s
After moving from a 4s who's battery life was decimated after moving to ios7, I must say that my iOS 7.1.2, 64 gig 5s has outstanding battery life in comparison. An iPhone 5s is a worthy upgrade for you, and the perfect size since you prefer the same width as your 4s.Replacement ok. IPhone 3GS - perfect iPhone 4 - perfect iPhone 4 white - perfect iPhone 4s - perfect iPhone 5- perfect iPhone 5s - perfect then lost on holiday, replacement, perfect iPhone 6 Plus - perfect iPad 2 3G - perfect iPad 3 3G - perfect until about 8 months old, 1 inch line of dead pixels.Glad I just bought a 4S, no scratches or bends here and it's the most beautiful phone ever.I tried a 2nd iPhone 4S and again the audio was very perfect, smooth, and awesome on Bluetooth phone calls.Motorola STARTAC Nokia 3210 Nokia 3310 Sony Ericsson T68i (with the detachable VGA camera that rendered 1 FPS lol) Nokia 7650 Nokia 6600 Nokia 7610 Motorola RAZR (so sexy) Nokia N80 iPhone 2G Blackberry Bold 9000 Blackberry Torch 9800 iPhone 4S Samsung Galaxy S4 iPhone 6+- It's thin - It's beautiful - Well Designed - Vibrant screen - Fast processor and fast wireless - Great camera (though noise reduction could be turned down) - Amazing App Collection - Runs much cooler than my 4S - Larger, more readable screenPerfect fit for my hand, great upgrade from the 4S and super fast.Perfect fit for my hand, great upgrade from the 4S and super fast.Gaming has always been great on my 5s, and i don't really see where they could make such a massive leap over it, like they did with the 4s over the 4.. they could up the resolution, sure.. but the quality right now still is great.I'm coming from a 4s so I love everything about it...it's sleek, the touch screen is nice and responsive, the touch id amazing..great phone..So we aren't trying to "fit" the 6+ into our existing workflow (like we did with the 4S->5 transition), we're supposed to adjust our workflow to fit the device (like we did when we first got an iPad, iPod or AppleTV).I think my 4S looks really nice so I'm gunna be an excited panda.I agree with iossox, also got burned on the 4 and since then have bought the 4s, not a bad phone, and now have the 5s which is awesome.I'd be perfectly happy staying with my 4S if the hardware wasn't slowly falling out of step, performance wise.I'd be perfectly happy staying with my 4S if the hardware wasn't slowly falling out of step, performance wise.Funny you mention the 4S, that is still my favorite iPhone design to date.I'm actually happy with the thickness of the iPhone 4S and with the the larger footprint of the iPhone 6 with the 4.7" screen, you could fit a sizeable battery into such a chassis.I just upgraded to the iPhone 5s and for my need it a great phone all though I had to take it back cause it had issues in the first three months the off and on thing, until then I had the 4s and it worked great.Case in point, when I went from a 3GS to a 4S, I was able to get a mophie case right away, because the same one that fit the 4 would also fit the 4S.You can have my 3.5" iPhone 4S when you pull it from my cold, dead hands; or when the performance is bad enough that I can't stand it and you offer me enough cash for it 3.5" is the perfect screen size in my opinion.I'm totally excited to see it, as excited as when the 4S was announced and so on People are always going to reply, this is Macrumours, the biggest and nicest apple community. To answer OP: 5S is a great device and a worthy upgrade from the 4S.I figure a 16GB 4S built in Feb of 2014 (chipmunk.nl) and on 7.04 was worth a couple of Franklin's... so I'll keep it for nostalgia's sake haha... Too bad it wasn't a 64GB, but at least it wasn't an 8.But it can't be a router issue because my sister's iPhone 4S gets great wifi speeds, and my mom's Note 3 gets really really great wifi speeds. The A7 in the 5s is very fast, it was nice moving from a 4s.iPhone 3GS had gone with 2 dead batteries and 4S was so flawless I dropped twice on the sidewalk with screen protector and cheap case no damage at all.To be honest, 4s is still good to use, but I'm just tired of its design and want to try something new.I switched from black to white since iPhone 4S and I'm very happy with my new silver iPhone 5S after being happy with my white iPhone 5.i had a iphone 4S and i this jump up too the iphone 5C it was worth it two me has the iphone 5C was a big upgrade too me overe the iphone 4S i was going too get the iphone 5S but i did not really need a iphone 5S am vary happy with my iphone 5CYour in the majority amongst other people who are happy with the current size or happy with the size of the 4s etc.I've got some pretty amazing shots with my 4S, and with the 5S easily outperforming the 4S I'm excited to see what I'll be able to do with it.The 4 was a nice hardware upgrade over the 3GS, and the 5 was a nice hardware upgrade over the 4S.iPhone 3G - perfect iPhone 4 - perfect iPhone 4S - perfect iPad 1st gen. - perfect iPad 2 - perfect iPad 3 - Multiple display issues, multiple returns, sold for iPad mini iPad mini - perfect iPhone 5 - 1st one damaged, second acceptable Now this.AT&T Family Share Plan 4 Smart Phones (iPhone 5s, iPhone 5, iPhone 4s, Samsung Galaxy S3) Unlimited phone/text Personal Hotspot also included 6 GB data (shared) $239/mo total (including 17% discount from work) Would cost ~$10 more per month to increase data to 10 GB (Data costs $30 more, but cost per phone goes down $5 ea) A nice feature is that are staggered, so we can upgrade a phone every 5 or 6 months.boy am I glad I kept my unlimited data with AT&T, since moving to the 5s from the 4s, my usage SEEMS to have gone from 400-500, to over 2GB a month.Wife has iPhone 4S 16GB White iPad 2 16GB Wifi Accessories:- 2 Apple Battery Chargers - Good deal and really practical Magic Trackpad for the Macbook Air Magic Mouse for the Macbook Air Apple Wireless Keyboard for the Macbook Air Apple Superdrive for the Macbook Air (rarely ever use it)It's quite nice without being too bulkly, and the added weight is not too bad given that the 5S feels quite a bit lighter than the 4S.While I'm more than happy with those numbers (my 4s battery was shot and giving me 2-3 hours max just sitting on the table) I have to be honest, last charge it showed similar numbers so I left the house with 30% thinking it would be more than enough to last me while I went out for a bit and wouldn't need to charge it til I got home...phone died within 3 hours.Great post mate and im still loving mine, had a few snide comments at work about having a yellow phone but then caught the main one looking at new iphones on the web lol Still pick this thing up and love it, have gone white with 4, 4S and 5 but agree the black front totally works with the vibrant colours, white would just not give the same look im also amazed at the number of U turns from 5S back to 5C, love it, keep any more pics coming as love seeing them and it keeps this great thread going!Hi everyone , I'm here to inform you all that I've solved this problem after battling for hours , I red a lot of post on various forums and tried , changed/removed security/encryption standards , changed DNS , Tried different channels , toggled genius in privacy ... etc but none worked I have a 5 year old netgear wifi router which worked just perfect with ipad , iPhone 4 & 4s but since I got i5 , I've faced serious wifi issues like , average browsing , ultra slow app store download speeds ... for a 10mb app it took more than 15 mins to complete , on 20 MBps broadband line .. After trying every solution out there I tried my friends Belkin and Netgear N series router , and everything worked perfect @ blazing speeds on both belkin & N series, found the difference almost instantly(on all my old devices as well) .I have Beta 3 on my 4S in the UK and it's brilliant, it's very usable and HE has a bit of a attitude, I listen to music whilst on the train / walking to/from work and when I asked him the time this morning he said "The time sponsored is 08:15 am, beep" haha quite impressive.I kept my 4s naked for the full 2 years I owned it, I upgraded to a 5s and was planning on keeping it naked until I dropped it on a tennis court and scratched the side, I immediately became paranoid and went out and bought the Apple leather case, Im very happy because believe it or not the case saved my phone after being ran over by a pickup truck! It's not going to feel like the home button on the 4S or 5 for that matter, but if it's clicking and feels cheap it might be defective.I think opening the task manager in Iphone is a lot worse since you have to double press which much more tedious and slow (and eventually killing the home button like what happened to my 3GS and 4s).It's great when it works, but having it fail ~20% of the time just got so annoying that I switched back to the same old method that I used with my 4S.I'm a sad panda too (ugly cry face) I'm a 4s person...CycleCount: 917 DesignCapacity: 1430 FullChargeCapacity: 900 Status: Success BatteryCurrentCapacity: 35 BatteryIsCharging: true ExternalChargeCapable: true ExternalConnected: true FullyCharged: false GasGaugeCapability: true This is the iphone 4s i got from my brother, so far the battery life has been worse than i expected (never had an iphone before) and sometimes the charging is kinda ****ed (it starts charging at 30% even though it was at 1% before) or it says its at 1% when its actually at like 15%.I had pretty bad luck with both my iPhone 4 and 4S.... some people just have bad luck.I'm "upgrading" from the 4S and I gotta say that as weird as this may sound, I really like the thickness of it because - another weird thing here - I can feel its weight in my pocket (yes POCKET) and it reminds me where I put it!I have put my 4s in a Quadlock case to mount on my bike and I was not happy to see it scratched the metal trim so I'm not really keen on hard cases at the moment.I wasn't planning to upgrade my 4S until Apple drops iOS support, but I'm moving to a neighborhood with *terrible* reception.I've been considering switching over to T-mobile when I upgrade my phone (going from a 4S to a 5S), but I can't decide if it'll be worth the MUCH worse coverage for my area.I had black on the following models 2g 3g 3gs 4 Then on the 4s i switched to white...it definitely made something that was starting to feel stale a little more lifelike since the phone was getting stale itself.quite a few cycles on my 4S... that meant no eBooks in bed, camping, lazing around the couch etc Since then I've missed out on loads of great reads.. sounds sad, but I love my sci-fi and fantasy and its been a good year for it And no, I won't be buying wasteful paper books in 2014 before anyone suggests it.We have 2 iPhone 5 and 2 iPhone 5s on our account and we pretty much don't have to repay 6 months worth of subsidy on the 5 and 18 months worth of subsidy on the 5s.Hopefully 5.5 grey, if I need to wait a couple of months ,I'll do that for bigger screen, had a note 3 an it was perfect bar being on android, so this 5.5 if true is perfect for me.I just upgraded to the iPhone 5s and for my need it a great phone all though I had to take it back cause it had issues in the first three months the off and on thing, until then I had the 4s and it worked great. As for OP having tiny scuffs around edges etc, Honestly having owned iPhone 5 and 5S right out of the box from Apple and gotten my iPhone 5 replaced twice (due to screen issue and because I wanted the AWS T-Mobile USA Compatible one), both my iPhone 5 replacement units along with brand new came that I originally purchased came with some tiny tiny marks on the shiny edges, but it didn't bother me because my iPhone worked perfectly and I ended selling my iPhone 5 11 months into the year for amazing price and the buyer was extremely happy with it as well. Its kind of funny because Tmobile gave me 2 months for switching.Lovely unlimited data, 15mb all over London, but it just went bad over the course of the last 24 months too the point I had under 1MB or no signal most of the time. But than 6 months down the road, I tell you I will give you a great deal and sell you the premiums for a fabulous price of $200/month.I was on the T-Mobile family plan for almost 6 months, and while the price is great, customer service is great, the actual service is just ok. Too much switching of LTE to 4G in the same spot killing my battery, loss of signal even though i have 3-4 bars, and not having any of these issues on AT&T prepaid, I made the switch back as of today. Now after three months of stellar, very fast unlimited LTE connectivity without throttling even when using over 6GB of data each month, I'm very pleased with T-Mobile and my Note 3.So, the compelling reasons boils down to (1) saving a bit of cash at the moment, and (2) maybe going for something even better in 6-10 months when the next great thing comes out of Cupertino. When I had the One X for a few months it was perfect and great to handle.AT&T Family Share Plan 4 Smart Phones (iPhone 5s, iPhone 5, iPhone 4s, Samsung Galaxy S3) Unlimited phone/text Personal Hotspot also included 6 GB data (shared) $239/mo total (including 17% discount from work) Would cost ~$10 more per month to increase data to 10 GB (Data costs $30 more, but cost per phone goes down $5 ea) A nice feature is that are staggered, so we can upgrade a phone every 5 or 6 months. Here's my 8 months old iPhone 5 condition: Looks great for me, and performs great tooNow some more detail...at work i work deep in a huge 500,000sqft building, I always loved AT&T and had them for 8yrs, but finally got tired of having 0 bars at my work(everywhere else was great) so i switched to verizon about 16 months ago.watch out for "iPhone for life" if you terminate your agreement you must pay ALL future device payments and then you have to either hand them your phone or you have to take their purchase option so for example if i lease an iPhone 6 64 gb for $25 a month and i have 21 months left, i have to surrender my iPhone PLUS pay them $525 i guess the purchase option would be another $224 i am sick of people calling this deal a rental going around and making sure all the various news sites telling you how bad the iPhone 4 life program is almost as futile of trying to destroy every last copy of Star Wars the Holiday Special if i pay the future device payments plus take the purchase option, i bet i still won't get an unlockI bought the official black leather case for my 5S and it was nice, really nice, but I'd sometimes take it off to use it naked, until one day I took the case off and didn't put it back on again...for about nine months.I wouldn't have liked being on dumb phones for a few months before the refund could afford us new phones, but doing that would be preferable to the hell I know other Sprint customers have gone through.Speed wise they were amazing, but for voice it wasn't as good and had a few dropped calls in the few months I had them before I canceled so I could unlock the iPhone I got to use with AT&T.I actually got mine replaced under warranty due to that problem (it started within a few months of having it and got worse as the months went on and I finally decided to get it replaced before warranty was gone cause it was getting pretty bad) and then used assistive touch on the new one to keep it from happening again.199 for a Verzion iPhone 6 + 52 tax +32 activation fee -199 for iPhone 4 trade in (CL value is ~70 tops) + prorated service (~55 for one month) = 83+ dollars 10-20 buck verzion CL phone + 50 lumina refurb + 10 sim fee + 120 2 months service T-mobile [worst case scenario] - 20 sell lumia phone =60+ dollars (180 worst case) 180 + 84 = 264 252 is about price I would pay on AT&T for an iPhone 4 + tax.Hmmm....now you guys have got me worried...I tend to flip my devices every 6 months or so, thinking maybe this good deal I found isn't worth saving the $100 or so...the seller assured me that the phone is from a line in good standing with Verizon and he just decided the iPhone 6+ wasn't for him.Horrible build quality...the chrome bezel painting is wearing off, the battery cover scratches so damn easily and the screen gets ********s of fingerprints despite having an oleophobic coating... Now on the software side, things are even more ******... During my first 3 months of usage I had no problems with this phone, everything was fast and smooth.I had 2.3 gingerbread android phone for 18 months and while android itself was fun to use the weak hardware and lack of regular updates let the experience down considerably. So much stuff could be done even without having to root your phone. Then I switched to Lumia 520 and it was a breath of fresh air the simple yet elegant ui is great windows phone 8 is a cool ecosystem.Just this week I bought iPhone 3GS with ios 6 which is a little inferior to iphone 6 i would guess and I like the OS it's smooth and fluid and the phone is also well built although camera quality is not so good but everything else is good.So I like all 3 platforms equally well.Buy cheap phone from t-mobile ($50) and trade in a cheap Android phone I have laying around the house I don't use, stay on for 2-3 months for ETF rebate to process, then cancel service .I'm used to pre-orders where the production release is 6 months after the product annoucement, and the order window is small so they can build to what the preorder was... Im not saying that necessarily is desirable, but it really would help lessen some of the madness that is this "omg its next week" and the logistics that are involved and the insane it sells out in 1 minute stuff... received both my confirmation of processing and an email for the other reservation from when ATT couldnt verify...I have an iPhone 5s, i just bought it 4 months ago and its works really great so right now not have any planing to go with 6. but really excited for ios 8.What's ironic is that, because of the original iPhone with no 3G, AT&T had to spend months backfitting their system for a higher speed EDGE so the new Apple device wouldn't look pitiful running at 59 Kbps.I saw really no difference in the 2 services tho I was worried when I would travel or go places because when you visit Tmobile they mention all the places it doesn't work that I never experienced when I was with verizon(awful awful customer service) or AT&T(ask to speak to a manager and you will get 2-4 free months of service).A few months after having my phone i dropped it and where the sim card would go popped open which was weird and noticed it had a sim card which i am pretty sure it never had another weird thing it was a at&t sim card and my google number was assigned to it which i know i never did. These programs only work because the carriers realize people are dumb enough to pay for a phone for a year or 18 months and then trade it in for the latest and greatest and not care that they are losing all of the money had poured into the phone to begin with. For the first months since I purchase the 5s, the battery life was terrible, I've read over the net that the 3-4 hours that I got from 100%, was possible with few degrading variables such as heat, low signal strength , higher brightness, etc.I bought my daughter a new iPod touch 5th gen today and wow it seems like a lot more quality control is going on there cuz it's flawless it's beautiful not a mark but give it a few months right lolI have been a T-Mobile iPhone user for about a three years now..at first i had to deal with the terrible speed of EDGE since the iPhone is not built to run on T-Mobile's network..about two months ago i was finally able to get 3G on my iPhone 5 thanks to T-Mobile's attempt to upgrade their network to be able to drag more iPhone users to join their network...I'll admit at first i was really excited about this but after two weeks of 3G coming in and out, weak signal, dropping calls i finally said i've had enough, my iPhone would drop from 3G to EDGE at random times and even go NO SERVICE!!
customer service
In my opinion, I think both AT&T and Verizon are greedy but AT&T seems a little more greedier (they throttle unlimited plans, they have a significantly higher price for the note 4, and their single plans are more expensive even with the promo) With that being said, Verizon's customer service has been a nightmare, so to anyone that's happy with AT&T's customer service, I would not recommend them to switch.Unl data promotion is only if you are leaving Sprint, ATT or Verizon, but $25 gift is for all newbies to Simple Choice.. Tmo customer service can be confusing but the referral program is a great bonus for both old and new customers.I also purchased a basic phone as a second line.... ATT customer service was worthless...they didn't know what they were talking about and was always getting the run around..ontop of that the LG basic phone I ordered was in stock but they never shipped it to me and its always says backordered.....I've purchased iPhones for as long as they've been out there, sung the praises of Apple to the mountaintops, and slowly filled my home with Macbook, iMac, multiple iPads and iPods, not to mention spent $1000s in music in iTunes...and there's the rub, it's because I've been such a loyal customer, accustomed to wonderful and rapid service, that this botched rollout has raised my ire, this is not what I'm accustomed to with Apple, and galling is a great description of my feelings at present.Apple has great customer service and people seem to be incapable of understanding that you will get better service being nice and honest.Ahh, so happy Apple has such great customer service.I've never heard of a company being so unconcerned and impervious to customer service.Faster delivery, amazing customer service, trustworthyYou got lucky Great customer service to still take care of you even after the warranty coverage expired. They have great customer service and always have great reception in the Phoenix area.I was on the T-Mobile family plan for almost 6 months, and while the price is great, customer service is great, the actual service is just ok. Too much switching of LTE to 4G in the same spot killing my battery, loss of signal even though i have 3-4 bars, and not having any of these issues on AT&T prepaid, I made the switch back as of today. And if you aren't happy with any of their repairs or service just let them know there customer service is great at making things right.I also ported my number successfully, their customer service is great and you always get some sexy British representative in seconds as its a British company.Very happy with AT&T customer service (always had great experiences with them)!Yeah I thought about that but I've been with Virgin for 5-6 years now and always had great customer service and I really like their plan (they have great ones for students).People rag on Apple, some issues to be sure but great customer service is worth a lot.You seem like the questionable one here, siding with a company known for horrible customer service and wanting to get users off grand fathered unlimited plans at all costs.I did not realize that Sprint had such a terrible customer service... it's really puzzling since they are not even in a dominant position compared to say Verizon or AT&T, so one would think that they would be trying to provide better service, rather than the worst.I found Verizon to be one of the worst services I've used (more so than T-Mo), from dropped calls and some of the worst customer service I've experienced.Frustrated and angry at this incredibly poor customer service from UPS....will never do business with them again. The Customer service rep was rude and acted like i was dumb and seriously used "lol" in the chat.... And every time I have a question they NEVER answer my question they use a damn script.VZW: Pro's: VoLTE Better LTE coverage Con's: Horrible International Rates/Plans VoLTE speeds seem to be slower than 3G for many (still early though) Terrible Customer Service Tons of "extra's" popping up AT&T: Pro's: GSM Voice+Data - 4G, not LTE, but seems faster than VZW's VoLTE Best International Plans Con's: Abysmal LTE coverage I've found both carriers to be fairly equal with dropped calls, my concerns are international rates, VoLTE on VZW, AT&T's LTE commitment.Ranting on twitter about the HORRIBLE UNACCEPTABLE customer service I have received with no resolution to my issue in sight, an AT&T rep responded and asked for my account details. They have great coverage but boy is there customer service freakin horrible. They have bad customer service, expensive tariffs and are just a bit awful. They're website seems absurd to pick a decent plan from and if they're wireless customer service is anything like their internet service, I don't think I'll be happy with them.I'm annoyed, so I call the customer service number from the website, and I tell the person that I wasn't happy with the service I received in the apple store, they ask for which store, and when I tell them, they're like "okay, I'll connect you to the store manager" and before I can say anything, they transfer.I saw really no difference in the 2 services tho I was worried when I would travel or go places because when you visit Tmobile they mention all the places it doesn't work that I never experienced when I was with verizon(awful awful customer service) or AT&T(ask to speak to a manager and you will get 2-4 free months of service).of the folks going to the Genius Bar have a genuine concern and issue, there are a good number who are trying to cheat the system, make unreasonable demands, feel entitled, or are unreasonably obsessive over the slightest thing Personally, I have a lot of sympathy for anyone in customer service who has to deal with people who are rude, arrogant, entitled, idiots, sneaky and more Customer service of any kind is typically a thankless job with little reward I'm not saying all Geniuses are angels themselves, but I tend to believe much of the vitriol directed at them is unjustifiedMost stores here in Canada have bad customer service these days or horrible pre sale assistance.I had been on AT&T since 2010 and just moved to T-Mobile, as mentioned above, love the unlimited data not to mention the talk and text, my plan on AT&T used to be 450m/1000text/2gb data for a monthly charge of $75+tax and now I have unlimited data/talk/text for $30+tax (add on in a family plan) , its awesome , however the service in my home sometimes drops , when I called Customer Service I was told New Tower installation is imminent. It can be very frustrating, and usually the companies doing this have very lousy customer service if you ever do have a problem. After 2.5GB, they will throttle you to less than 1 Mbps which is awful and visual voicemail may or may not work and their customer service are worst.Rogers really is terrible and their customer service is just as bad.
deal
I agree, and the 64GB replacing the 32GB, a great deal I think it's worth it.A bad deal to me may not seem like a bad deal to someone else.Well then i stand corrected..and glad you were one of the lucky ones who got it back.....i was just going by what a retentions agent told me.....but she also told me that there is 1 spvr in charge of this plan who can also add it back.. Thats a great deal too...and comes close the 20 for 10 for the same price.......but if you dont need a ton of data then a great value is if you can get retentions to match verizons 10 gigs for price of 6 for 80 bucks...cuz you will get the 15 buck device charge with that deal too...and slap a fan discount on in and your payin about 62.50 for the data.......niceFor what you pay, it's actually a great deal, compared to previous iPhones, and 128GB at $399 is a great deal, considering the competitors at $100 less don't even get close to that (even with expandable).I'm looking to pick me up a mobile hotspot for my sim Definitely a great deal for a dedicated unlimited hotspot!I always buy Apple care + it's a great deal and peace of mind is worth the extra cost, your paying $1000 for a phone so an extra $100 is worth it to double the warranty and to protect it from accidental damage.T-mobile is a great deal and if you have great service in your area, then nothing can beat it's value for price, unless you travel often and need coverage everywhere. While reachability is intuitive and helps a great deal, reaching the top half of the screen, especially the top left, can still be fairly difficult.I used my iphone 6 for 12 days before i returned it and went for a 6plus now here are the differences:- iPhone 6 Pros One handed use light and pocketable Cons to be honest except for the design there wasnt any difference btw 5s and 6.. battery life was almost the same n so was the display iPhone 6 plus my experience:- as i have used LG g3 and Note 3 going for a phablet wasnt a big deal for me..but to be honest this thing is big and not that much easy to carry around in your pockets but two things made me just fall in love with this beauty 1st its bigger and FULL HD display [on iphone 6 i can easily see jaggered lines on the text n Fonts but here on iphone 6 plus everything is smooth n crystal clear] second man o man the battery life is awesome and superb.. to be honest iPhone 6 plus is the real upgrade for this generation while 6 is jus OKTo the public, it shows that there is a great deal of demand and that the product is highly desirable. If I wasn't on a family plan only paying for unlimited data then I would be on one of the following: - Verizons $60/mo 2gb + unlim talk & text plan (includes phone subsidy worth $18.75/mo) - Crickets $35/mo 1gb + unlim talk & text plan - Brightspot Mobiles $29/mo 3gb + 300 min + unlim text Gun to my head right now I'd pick Verizon's deal, best combination of great network and value on an individual currently running IMO.Its a great ****ing deal, since I get to eliminate Smart Limits and it only ends up being only a few bucks more expensive than my 10GB mobile share plan.I got excited and I jumped on the deal right away because I had been searching all over for this particular combination and finally found it at a great price.Edit: this deal sounds appealing cause I have 4 lines, of which are all due for a upgrade and fee iphone 6's would be awesome...These tech websites are making these iPhone bending reports such a big deal, of coarse it's gonna bend if you put that much pressure on it, any phone would...People always find the smallest things to complain about, a lot wanted a big iPhone for such a long time now they got it but keep finding negative things about it, people want thin, light, indestructible and cheap and they'll still not be satisfied, simple solution of putting a case on it would solve the issue...out of at least 10 million iPhones only a small percentage of iPhones actually were bent but these reports are making this such big deal and people are actually going out and exchanging their phones smh...just my opinion thoughI agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GBDidn't think this new design would be a big deal, but damn the tapered glass edges sure feel nice when swiping forward and back between web pages and whatnotI think Android users will be in for a really good treat with the 6 one huge thing I am excited about is apps that open a browser in the app itself and not in Safari, they will now have the same exact speed as Safari itself, Apple is extending its updated Nitro Javascript engine to all apps now, so when a app opens up a browser in the app itself, it loads just as fast as it would on Safari that will be alot faster now, im excited for that+Apple A8 speed, apps are going to get a nice speed boost display quality on the 6/6 plus is ridiculously good, full sRGB range, the viewing angles, there basically isn't any viewing angles with this screen, it really doesnt distort when you look at it from any angle only ever so slightly(15% the most) at absurd viewing angles, dual domain pixel technology is a big deal,Refreshing causes a great deal of problems on the sites I frequent. You are better off going directly with Verizon to avoid things of that nature (unless you are truly getting some sort of an amazing deal from the reseller that would make the extra conditions they have worthwhile for you, or if you perhaps don't care about those conditions if you were let's say planning to keep the phone on the line for a few years anyway and more than 180 days).Works great for us and yes, I think it's a great deal.Agree I always meet some really nice folks and nice conversations so waiting a couple hours is not a big deal.I know SPRINT is at the bottom but I think they have been putting a lot of work in to come back and I was all over the new deal for $50/month UNLIMITED data when SPRINT came out with that for the 6/6+ Also...Im moving from a small area to a much larger market and any provider will do just fine out there so Im excited to see how great SPRINT is with all their upgradesI don't know, so if you are on your own Next isn't always a deal UNLESS the increase like in my example is worth it and the upgrade each year is so attractive. That $30 TMobile deal is amazing, though, and may save enough over time to even make paying the ETF fees worth it.Granted, I know the original $400 a year ago was a good deal (they were typically going for $450-$500, so I got kind of lucky).I used to use the virgin deal , but after being given a couple of out of contract iPhone 4 we went with Genius wireless, we have three phones on the verizon network for just $75 each per yr, there are some other deals for time, data etc, but for pretty low users this is perfect, I only use wifi for data ...worth checking their plans...def a plus for teenagers too, no overspending from my teen.I got a good deal on the phone and am confident I can get my money back on it as it's in great shape.I've experienced the erroneous "pic not sent" message or whatever it says but also sometimes while I'm typing it will insert a random pic from my photo album in the message which is annoying but not a big deal but a hassle on that tiny little keyboard. That's not a bad deal, I though it would be closer to $100, it would be nice to use it case-less againBut than 6 months down the road, I tell you I will give you a great deal and sell you the premiums for a fabulous price of $200/month.Haha some very amusing replies, as amusing as a stick, thanks for the the time worthy replies though, I guess it's not a big deal and I'll live with it, just glad I don't have other issues with the phone and only a minor one. Finally got a nice deal on an iPhone 5s and now I nice network of Apple gear.Of course if you come across a great deal on the 5 or 5c, they're great phones too. Here's an additional bonus- you can often find ST refills on EBay for really great prices (around $30-35 month per line which is amazing deal..) Just make sure you only buy from high feedback sellers.Like I said before, glad you're getting a great dealWife has iPhone 4S 16GB White iPad 2 16GB Wifi Accessories:- 2 Apple Battery Chargers - Good deal and really practical Magic Trackpad for the Macbook Air Magic Mouse for the Macbook Air Apple Wireless Keyboard for the Macbook Air Apple Superdrive for the Macbook Air (rarely ever use it)But seriously, Rogers needs to get moving with the info, maybe they are planning some super amazing upgrade deal for everyone.watch out for "iPhone for life" if you terminate your agreement you must pay ALL future device payments and then you have to either hand them your phone or you have to take their purchase option so for example if i lease an iPhone 6 64 gb for $25 a month and i have 21 months left, i have to surrender my iPhone PLUS pay them $525 i guess the purchase option would be another $224 i am sick of people calling this deal a rental going around and making sure all the various news sites telling you how bad the iPhone 4 life program is almost as futile of trying to destroy every last copy of Star Wars the Holiday Special if i pay the future device payments plus take the purchase option, i bet i still won't get an unlockIf they end it now, it would mean they held you under false promise and made you miss out on Sprint deal, and that **** is illegal (holding a customer off based on false statements).Hmmm....now you guys have got me worried...I tend to flip my devices every 6 months or so, thinking maybe this good deal I found isn't worth saving the $100 or so...the seller assured me that the phone is from a line in good standing with Verizon and he just decided the iPhone 6+ wasn't for him.To those saying to "Buy a 5s": - Worse camera for both video and picture taking - Worse processer - Worse battery life - Sharp edged design - Thicker - No NFC (Yes, ApplePay is a big deal) Those are sacrifices people will make when purchasing last year's 4" model.16GB now seems like a bad deal and 128 seems like a bad deal as when you move up the next 100 dollars you only double-the-storage instead of quadrupling it.You read about one deal going bad on craigslist out of the tens of thousands that happen DAILY (if not more) and all of the sudden craigslist is a bad place.Be smart and try not to buy into a financially bad plan just cause you want the iPhone 6 or 6+...we all want it and thats why we are on this forum...but I stopped myself as this was not just a bad deal ...it is a very bad deal. The overwhelming software evidence confirms this is the real deal, or they somehow got a new iOS build on a fake phone, which is impossible.I will buy it, use safari extensively and see how "bad" it is, and sell it if it's worse than the current phone; I will most definitely make money on the deal lol.He replied back saying "nice nice, no problem" All I can say is: 1) seems like his number he's using to make the deal 2) told me he works near Starbucks (which is att) 3) screen shot the whole convo with his number You have no protection when buying phones on CL.Mine is a launch 5s and it was working perfectly (with a rare miss here and there, but not a big deal at all, I'd say 98% of the time it was fine)... we flew from RDU out to SJC a couple of weeks ago, and my touch sensor got worse and worse for the week and a half we were there.HSPA+ isn't a great deal faster than HSPA in my experience and isn't worthy of being called 4G!So I suggest anyone switching to Straight Talk, the deal is so amazing that its not worth abusing and loosing it....We can't be too happy just yet (because the specifics are yet to be determined) but this looks like an awesome deal!

switch
It isn't nearly as bad as some iOS users seem to believe, and after the initial shock of making the switch, you quickly come to appreciate how open and flexible it is.great choice, im beyond happy too i made the switch.. i dont think i could ever go back to a smaller screen now.I switched from Sprint to T Mobile so far I'm really happy with it and although the pre ordering was a huge mess I'm happy I made the switch!and you want us to "Switch on that thing that sits between your ears" I had some of the earliest smart phones going back to windows phone's, ect.. and I never ever put a smart phone in my pocket most of the time, yes I do sometimes with dress pants, but never jeans, and I posted 2 links to 2 samsung phones that broke in pockets.Great way to see for yourself if it's worthwhile to make the switch. And the switch to the A7 with phenomenal performance and 64bit architecture (with the A8 instruction set and new GPU), DDR 3 RAM (w/a 4mb 'on die SoC' buffer), fingerprint scan system second to none and a wicked camera (1080p is truly amazing, still capture is definitely a well refined with an awesome and perfect for sensor size 8mp, f2.2 with 10fps full Rez bursts as long as you hold the shutter down), continued progression of their IPS display technology and implementation..the 5s is AS good as ANY of the flagship Android 2014 handsets.I was on the T-Mobile family plan for almost 6 months, and while the price is great, customer service is great, the actual service is just ok. Too much switching of LTE to 4G in the same spot killing my battery, loss of signal even though i have 3-4 bars, and not having any of these issues on AT&T prepaid, I made the switch back as of today.Switch to T-Mobile or ANYTHING except Verizon, don't let them get away with these greedy evil stunts. If Verizon installs a 24-ch fiber switch but only gets 3-5 customers, either their marketing department is inept or their economist/actuary that predicts demand is inept.

cost
I always buy Apple care + it's a great deal and peace of mind is worth the extra cost, your paying $1000 for a phone so an extra $100 is worth it to double the warranty and to protect it from accidental damage. They wanted to include a larger amount if ram but the real world cost, both monetarily and power consumption wise, was too great.Get Apple care + it's well worth the cost, any time you buy a high end phone or device getting Double the warranty and accidental damage protection is worth it.we believe that we can provide you quite satisfactory service & deliver amazing merchandise at low cost.Example: Old Plan 6GB Mobile Share with 2 smart phones = And I upgrade both every 2 years New Plan 10GB Mobile Share Value plan with 2 smart phones Data Charge = $100 Number of phones = 2 15*2 = $30 18.75 x 2 = $37.5 New bill evaluated cost = The question to ask is if its worth it, in this case for an extra $7.50/mo, for the new plan and extra 4GB of data.AT&T Family Share Plan 4 Smart Phones (iPhone 5s, iPhone 5, iPhone 4s, Samsung Galaxy S3) Unlimited phone/text Personal Hotspot also included 6 GB data (shared) $239/mo total (including 17% discount from work) Would cost ~$10 more per month to increase data to 10 GB (Data costs $30 more, but cost per phone goes down $5 ea) A nice feature is that are staggered, so we can upgrade a phone every 5 or 6 months. This is great, looks like AT&T is a winner here lol, But to anyone looking to save money Straight Talk is your best bet and you can't go wrong with $45/Month, If you do need 1.5GB+ Data then ya its worth sticking with AT&T because you can have up to 3GB but also at a cost of $65++ H2O Wireless has a $25/Month Plan that you can use in any combination....if you strictly use it for talking then you can have 1000Min/Month = Approx 16.7Hours/17Hours of Talk/Month!Do you think it's wise to call retentions before the iPhone 4 comes out...if they lower my plan cost I won't be in the $100 a month range and might not qualify for the early upgrade price, although my billing cycle is on the 25th of every month so I might get lucky there. It is definitely not an iPhone but it does have enough features and games to keep a new smart phone owner happy for minimal cost.Isolating (and then complaining about) the cost of the parts is completely arbitrary and meaningless. The point is the cost for Apple to bump 16 GB to 32 GB is absurdly low and would be well worth doing just so they don't tarnish their brand when people get frustrated with their purchase later on.I agree...I **need** an AT&T Microcell (horrible reception at my house); they should provide it to me at cost since their network is awful.RAM is very cheap these days, so just cost is not a great reason.Being able to defer payment at no cost is usually worth it, maybe not as much for such a low amount, but that money will be worth less later than today. You could maybe fix it and sell it, but not sure how much you would make accounting for the cost of fixing, even by yourself, if you can get parts for cheap, then it may work better, the worst that could happen is that you mess it up and still can give it to gazelle for $125.Yes, we all want the latest and greatest, but sometimes you have to consider whether an upgrade is worth the cost or not. It's crazy when the ipad retina cost only $500 and the iPod touch 32GB cost only $300 The only better thing about the iPhone is the camera and the newer hardware The loan is stupid because the phone companies are greedy to charge people $80 a month for 2 years is insane
att
Unl data promotion is only if you are leaving Sprint, ATT or Verizon, but $25 gift is for all newbies to Simple Choice.. Tmo customer service can be confusing but the referral program is a great bonus for both old and new customers.I also purchased a basic phone as a second line.... ATT customer service was worthless...they didn't know what they were talking about and was always getting the run around..ontop of that the LG basic phone I ordered was in stock but they never shipped it to me and its always says backordered.....Just had a nice talk with a nice young man on ATT.In my case we have 3 phones(2 smart phones, 1 dumb phone, 1 smart phone on unlimited + 1 smart phone on 300 mb) the old school plans with the subsidies come out to about $1900 cheaper over a 2 year period compared to Mobile Shared Value + ATT Next. For what it's worth, I live in the Orlando area and I've been very happy with ATT.I'll still just be as happy, at the end of the day, stuff happens...the only thing you can do is get something (from ATT) to make it worth the wait.No thank u - verizon is where I will be - my main reason for moving was pricing - Tamara made that a non issue I am happy it is over - checked the Att acct this morning and it is with a zero balance and closed - and it will remain that wayNow with ATT moving aggressively towards the NEXT program (along with more attractive pricing just announced).Week 37 Factory C3 Black 16G ATT Delivered 9/21 Flawless out of box, flawless after much use.thats wonderful for you glad they didnt do that for everyone at the att store i went to on friday. We are with ATT 4 people on a 700 minute plan 2 people on a 500 minute plan 1 iphone with 2G plan 2 smart phones with $15 data plan unlimited texting unlimited nights, weekends, mobile to mobile yada yada Insurance on the 2 smart phones Add in all the crazy fees and you are talking about $300+ a month.Problem is, my ATT bill is way over due so I'm worried that when they get around to actually shipping the phone they'll cancel the order because my bill is overdue.I expected nothing short of people calling me "dumb" and blaming me or ATT for the bad experience.Still not confident they will meet the 2-13 shipdate on my att page, but nice to see some unicorns are being shippedI am so frustrated and ATT is completely worthless when asking for updates!Worse comes to worse dial 611 from your 5 and talk to ATTAnd of course the worst thing about this is, I am at the mercy of ATT and their iPhone 6 inventory (which is quite abysmal).Im still very disappointed in att and will remember this next year but im happy its finally on its way!Pre-orders have been bad with ATT in the past, but I've never seen it this bad.It would be awful b/c if you look further Verizon and T-Mo would not support VoLTE and those models would randomly have worse battery life than the ones on ATT and Sprint =DSadly, here in the Boston area T-Mo is inferior to ATT and VZW I have friends on T-Mo here and they hate it, because coverage is so bad.I find it ironic that the worst wifi speeds I get is from the ATT network at my local Starbuck.

edge
The front of the 6 plus is so nice, without a screen protector, I just love the way mine looks and feels in the hand, I dont know why but the rounded edge just give it such a nice feel.- dead pixel - backlight bleed - uniformity (one side darker, yellower) - smudge / smear inside glass - dust inside screen - dust or dirt inside glass (outside of screen area) - recessed / uneven volume button (on one but not another) - sticky vibration button (normal ones have a nice firm click) - uneven pressure / sticky / unbalance on sleep wake button (normal ones have a nice click to it) - uneven home button pressure (perfect ones have a nice click to it, but this is personal preference) - uneven gap when assembled (run your finger on the edge on each side and compare for your 6/6+) - dust inside camera lens - general cosmetic scratches / chips / dings (Apple logo, aluminum, buttons, sim slot) And this list hasn't even covered technical issues like wifi, Bluetooth, Touch ID, vibration rattle, etc. They should have just done this iPhone Star MEGA iPhone MEGA iPhone 6S Mini iPhone Young iPhone ACE 4G LTE iPhone 4G LTE A iPhone ROUND S iPhone BEND PLUS S iPhone EDGE iPhone NO EDGE iPhone PRO iPhone ROYAL iPhone SuperSmart iPhone SuperDumb iPhone Kaptuer iPhone Patented iPhone Wonderful iPhone Magical iPhone Bigger than Bigger iPhone The U2 U Don't Want And that's just the first six months!I live in a town with beautiful rolling hills of forested trees, my house is actually on the edge of a park and surrounded with beautiful trees in the back and out front. We all know for nationwide coverage Verizon and AT&T are the only carriers one should look for and the key word there is "Nationwide" but, where I'm T-Mobile is the best (coverage wise and cost wise) and since I'm 57 years old and use to travel with car Radio and 8-tracks I really don't mind Edge or no service while I'm driving since again the key word there is "Driving" and not playing with my phone .I want to keep this phone bad but constantly having no service and edge (just as useless, cant even make calls) in my own room is kind of a dealbreaker.20 nm 64 bit apple A8> 28nm Snapdragon 805 Cameras are both top notch and cream of the crop , no real , clear winner there Touch ID is king fingerprint scanner sensor and the Note 4 swipe with your thumb BS is not as good note 4 has the best OLED display ever while the 6 Plus has the best LCD smartphone display ever, both are top notch, 6 has a little less resolution but still good Funny thing is that 6 and 6 Plus uses actually newer technology and more cutting edge hardware, a SoC on a 20nm manufacturing node custom designed by Apple In house own ISP now too Both are great devices though but people who say it uses "2012 technology" and "lol wow only 1.4 ghz dual core my Galaxy S3 is faster with 1.5 ghz dual core" just have no understanding at all on all this Fanboys gonna be fanboys , but the 6 Plus and 6 are actually one of the best if not the best peforming smartphone right now on both the CPU/GPU side Totally wrong , 6 and 6 Plus completly utterly destroys anything from 2012, the SoC (which houses the CPU/GPU/ISP/RAM) basically everything, is quite different and not similiar to tech specs back then ARMv8 custom design is drastically different then what has been used in the past What people dont understand at all is that you want faster better single core performance and better IPC always, espcially on mobile devices, this is beyond crucial and key for mobile developing (for obvious reasons; these devices using batteries and thermal constraints etc etc) Same thing with why a Intel quad core is noticeably faster then a AMD quad core thats clocked alot higher speeds then the Intel quad core Its because Intels single core performance and architecture design is SUPERIOR, very little people understand what even makes a CPU design, single core performance and IPC is beyond important and crucial and key for mobile , why would someone want to deal with more weaker single cores and code for all them and try to get parrlellization and efficiency on all cores properly when it is a headache already developing software and games for a bunch of cores on desktop(and multicore processors started coming out 8 years ago) Throwing more cores at it does not increase performance for situations and problems automatically linearly 6 way wide superscaler 1.4 ghz Enhanced cyclone cores on ARM's latest architecture design (ARMv8 or 64 bit) OP I suggest you look up on the A7/A8 details , it is more comparable to Intel Haswell processors then it is to what Qualcomm offers actually in terms of performanceOne 6+ was so bad I felt bad for selling it because it had a noticeably darker band on the top edge of the screen.Damn, sorry *Mods please delete this thread if you get a chance I'll take your word for it...but to play devils advocate, one could argue that the softer aluminum when hit very hard creates a sharp internal edge which could puncture the softer Li-Ion battery that apple uses where as cheap quality plastic phones with removable backplates tend to have hard plastic battery housings....I I think in this case it doesn't matter what phone the guy had, same result would have happened due to the force upon impact resulting in what you described.I wasn't saying Edge isn't worth doing, I mean Edge isn't worth doing for you.I figured something was up, so I did a mock edge upgrade, only to find my account locked for upgrading because my MEID didn't match the one on my agreement (my device had been replaced with Asurion and they gave me this awful S4 instead of a Moto X, unless I wanted to wait a month to get a functioning phone).Went in to Telecom to upgrade my Samsung galaxy nexus to a Samsung galaxy s5 and was sooooooooo disgusted at the horrible cheap nasty imitation plastic chrome edge and nasty plastic case that I got the iphone 5s instead. What's ironic is that, because of the original iPhone with no 3G, AT&T had to spend months backfitting their system for a higher speed EDGE so the new Apple device wouldn't look pitiful running at 59 Kbps.I wish HTC would concentrate on quality as well, HTC ONE is a beautiful phone but it needs work to become better...not hardware wise, but software wise...HTC too can create a ecosystem of its own that utilizes simple things like an iCloud competitor....or even start going with Ubuntu EDGE!And the last thing I want is too get a replacement that is worse than my current week 39: -3 flat -2 long edge -2 short edge This is definitely the worse apple issue I have faced throughout the 10 different purchases I've made over the years!T-Mobile will still be stuck with abysmal EDGE because they're too cheap to upgrade all sites to at least HSPA.I have been a T-Mobile iPhone user for about a three years now..at first i had to deal with the terrible speed of EDGE since the iPhone is not built to run on T-Mobile's network..about two months ago i was finally able to get 3G on my iPhone 5 thanks to T-Mobile's attempt to upgrade their network to be able to drag more iPhone users to join their network...I'll admit at first i was really excited about this but after two weeks of 3G coming in and out, weak signal, dropping calls i finally said i've had enough, my iPhone would drop from 3G to EDGE at random times and even go NO SERVICE!!I am having trouble deciding it because if i go swap it i am afraid that those units were are also defective or worst than what i have i have a dent on the edge as shown in the pic below, but in the picture it looks small. You also have a gap between the display and the infamous defective aluminum edge.

money
If you are confident you installed the replacement battery correctly I would think it wouldn't really be worth your money to have repaired.but you get way more life out of your money from the 5s, spec wise and performance wise.In my case, I'm on AT&T next and would just rather save some money by moving to a 6 because I know I would be just as happy with a 6.Mind you I had a 5 figure balance and no strange transactions (checks from clients coming in and money moving into my PayPal account to pay my staff abroad...I make great money doing a job where I help people who can't help themselves, own a nice home and I have a beautiful family. To be honest, it was a clever stunt for making money.Which to be honest, a Phish concert is worth way more than the face value of the ticket, it's just the act of providing money to scum bags who will keep buying and re-selling these tickets. If I don't like something I'm not afraid to admit, unlike some people who have to justify their purchases and say how great something is just because they've spent money on it.The unlimited plan would have offered $450 worth of subsidy per phone every two years, so $1800 worth of "free" money to put towards phones... however, saving $100/mo ends up being $2400 over two years, so they would actually come out $600 ahead even though they are now paying full price for their phones on AT&T Next.If however you want the latest and greatest iPhone and your going to keep the device for a couple of years or more then it may be worth adding the extra money and getting a 6, but as I said the 5s is still a very, very capable and good phone.Apple probably has data on how much used space and therefore keeping that option is smart money if the benefit of upgrading would only make a few people happy and keep most from upgrading to second tier.if i switch to some other device, it might save me money, but i would have to go through all the trial & error to find the perfect apps that i need and sometimes the accumulation of all the knowledge about my preferences is worth more than a few hundred dollars.OCD isn't what I have I just DESERVE a perfect phone because I think 749$ is a LOT of money... so because of that it had better be PERFECT.For the same reason that, for some people, a BMW or a Mercedes is worth the extra money over a Honda, an iPhone is worth the extra money over an Android.Lucky for you, it's worth a bit of money for parts.I got a good deal on the phone and am confident I can get my money back on it as it's in great shape.I'd really just wait for the release of the 6... worst comes to worse you don't like it and save money with the older model. To be quite honest, for that kind of money that Apple charges for a phone, you'd want something that as advertised and I can not believe the main stream media is letting Apple off the hook on this one!4) As for money --- I think if you can be happy with a iPhone 5, go for it, its a great phone and you can upgrade to 5S next year.Yes the damage isn't bad and yes over time you would probably sustain some sort of marks on the phone by yourself but the point is these things are a lot of money and should be perfect out of the box.and Calling mart usually has 10% off of $60 plan...so your still saving money, if you sign up for calling mart plan they also give you points (100 points = $1 saved) that combined with 10% off = great savings on this great plan! The differences aren't worth the money unless you just want the "latest and greatest".This is great, looks like AT&T is a winner here lol, But to anyone looking to save money Straight Talk is your best bet and you can't go wrong with $45/Month, If you do need 1.5GB+ Data then ya its worth sticking with AT&T because you can have up to 3GB but also at a cost of $65++ H2O Wireless has a $25/Month Plan that you can use in any combination....if you strictly use it for talking then you can have 1000Min/Month = Approx 16.7Hours/17Hours of Talk/Month!One thing for sure though, now that Apple is offering us the unlocked iPhone I think it will force the companies to offer amazing deals to keep us locked in....if they do, I'll definitely be happy to save the money and sign again...I figure I'm going to need a phone for another 3 year anyhow, so if the price is right, I will.My 6 Plus has been absolutely amazing and I have absolutely no lag or stutter at all on my 6 Plus, your 6 Plus seems to be defective, Sounds like you might not even have a 6 Plus, why would you spend all that money when a ton of your "problems" is something you could of always seen in person hands on with the device or so (surely you tried the device out before forking over money) And Siri has been working for me 90% of the time and is light years better then what it has been, that seems to be a connection issue on your part with Siri having a response like thatNow that they make less and less money with text messages it is getting worse and worse.I've had my 6+ since launch day, Sep. 19, and I was nervous when I pre-ordered at 3 am, I was nervous when I saw all of that money leave my account, and I was nervous when I saw the huge box.I mean, if worse comes to worst you're going to have to sell the 5S and use the money to pay Verizon, but it still doesn't seem right.I'm in a similar boat, coming to the end of my 2 year contract with my 5 and I was all set and excited for the 6 but once I tried one in the store, I just wasn't happy with the way it felt in my hand, and now I'm thinking that I might just stick with my 5, it's still just as speedy as ever and just feels nice in my hand, I mean, that new screen is nice and all but I'm not sure it's really worth the money, maybe I'll cave eventually but I'm thinking I'll wait for the 6S and hope they make the camera lens flush again, and remove the silly plastic lines on the back. They realized they were leaving money on the table and ignoring it was untenable, it's just too bad it took them so long to come to that conclusion.Scammers have a lot of tricks from sending money from bad bank accounts that somehow clear into your account, to returning a different phone back and claiming you sent them a bad product, to just shipping back rocks AND PAYPAL SIDES 99% WITH BUYER NO MATER WHAT.What with a paltry 1GB of RAM and a cheap build quality, what a downer for all that money. They handle orders over the mic, clean their stations, prep drinks (including sloppy caramel McCafe's) and then take your filthy money. You're delusional if you think those insane margins are required in order for them to have enough money to invest in their networks.Love of money ends up making a tech company boring as fsck and TC is boring as fsck.I will buy it, use safari extensively and see how "bad" it is, and sell it if it's worse than the current phone; I will most definitely make money on the deal lol.Being able to defer payment at no cost is usually worth it, maybe not as much for such a low amount, but that money will be worth less later than today.I used to work hard but the tax rates are so horrible now I hardly work at all anymore because the more I work the worse tax bracket I'm in - and end up having even less money because I have to pay people to do things I don't have time to do myself because I'm working.SCOTUS said dumb lawsuits over trivial amounts of money where only the lawyers make out can be forced into arbitration. These programs only work because the carriers realize people are dumb enough to pay for a phone for a year or 18 months and then trade it in for the latest and greatest and not care that they are losing all of the money had poured into the phone to begin with. Conclusion: It seems that AT&T is giving the MVNO's run for their money with its AIO brand as its beating its own GoPhone plan prices and Net10 seems to have pulled a bad move with its pricing as its worse than AT&T's AIO Wireless pricesIts a point of contention because most cases are ugly and some people the amount of money they send on cases and films they could damn near buy another phone they certainly could pay for AppleCare+.Cant say its better money wise but sure nice convenience wise. Also, without supporting evidence, it is equally erroneous to claim that Apple were "saving money" by using this supposedly inferior grade of aluminium. That site is questionable and anyone that tries to take advantage of someone elses good rep to make money sounds shady to me.avoiding Wifi, if you HAD to and spend the $120, then you would just be a moron and your points are worthless, or you just have more money than you know what to do with and your argument is also worthless.
bill
I called into retentions about a week and a half ago, got the $65 plan and 4GB of data, went great, and just saw my bill today, $70.02 after taxes, not bad at all compared to paying $90 something.Top-tier companies give great medical insurance, great vacation benefits (4 weeks), and great discounts (phone bill, Apple products, restaurants). She did this evening and gave me enough credit to get a nice case as well as a bill credit BTW I was nice on the phone and and explained that a lot of the frustration I've seen on this thread had as much to do with ATT's lack of transparency as well as the fact that the CSR's obviously were not given any leadership/guidance/information that would have at least given the consumer a feeling that we weren't all being stonewalled. The spare line was just that a spare unlimited data line because it was so cheap but I don't really use it in anything so I figured being able to cycle three upgrades (worth $450 a piece in subsidy on iphones) was worth having a 2gb plan instead of unlimited on that line, so long as my bill doesnt go (if I lost the $20 off)Example: Old Plan 6GB Mobile Share with 2 smart phones = And I upgrade both every 2 years New Plan 10GB Mobile Share Value plan with 2 smart phones Data Charge = $100 Number of phones = 2 15*2 = $30 18.75 x 2 = $37.5 New bill evaluated cost = The question to ask is if its worth it, in this case for an extra $7.50/mo, for the new plan and extra 4GB of data.Yep, agreed, but like you mentioned, to me Price is a consideration, however for me, if I had to pay a little more for better service, then it is worth it, if I were paying a little less for mediocre service not so bad, but to pay T-Mob $150.00 per month for 3 lines which is slightly lower then my bill now, and to have 1/2 the service, I can not do it.Got my phone finally in market mall..not too bad a wait..about an hour they had separate lines for unlocked and contract..i got the 16G unlocked one.. Called in Rogers and gave my frustration on why i should pay 399 for iphone4..they couldn't do anything about iphone price as i got my last upgrade last fall..but did get about $40 discount on my monthly bill..wasn't bad i thought..these fit the bill nicely enough and fit comfortably in my ears.Problem is, my ATT bill is way over due so I'm worried that when they get around to actually shipping the phone they'll cancel the order because my bill is overdue. My phone bill is actually less now with my iphone 5 then it was with the dumb phone so it really is not worth it.
unlock service
option
but the heavy JPEG compression....they need to set the compression to the least setting so you get or have the option for bigger JPEG's (like the setting DSLR's have)...wouldn't mind a RAW setting but don't see that anytime soon :P PNG's would be nice (strange for live images but still lossless).IF you get lucky, the blue shirt will go to his/her manager and speak about it... the manager will then come over to you and say, yes we can cancel the 2 year contract and you'll have to wait for your upgrade eligibility to kick back in, which generally takes 5-10 mins... if you cancelled twice, you're SOL as it locks the upgrade and you'll have to call AT&T and they'll have to call some other to have it restored which will take 3-5 business days... to avoid that, if you're on a family plan, I'd suggest you pre-order with another line thats not looking to upgrade right away... that way your upgrade is available right away and theres no waiting around... if you're the only line, I'd suggest you log into your AT&T mobile app and keep refreshing the upgrade eligibility page until you see it kick in... once they cancel the 2 year contract, theres an option for the NEXT or you can purchase the phone "device only" which means you pay for the phone completely, right there... again, I've experienced stores where they will flat out tell you they cant do such a thing, blah blah blah, cancelling will put the phone back into their online pre-order batch, which is BS... you just need to get lucky and have a blue shirt willing to do it for you...If anyone is looking for a wallet/wristlet option for the 6+, I found that the wallet is a completely perfect fit for mine even when it's in the apple leather case.Very happy with my choice, and I definitely feel the silver is the most attractive option this time around. It's kind of a pain that they gave us the option of moving all the icons including those in the dock to the next screen, but then we have to keep staring at the dock.Apple probably has data on how much used space and therefore keeping that option is smart money if the benefit of upgrading would only make a few people happy and keep most from upgrading to second tier. That being said, the nice thing for Apple to do after years of proclaimining they had mobile phone operation "figured out" and that 3.5-4" was the "perfect size" would have been to at least offer one as an OPTION.Granted it costs 5 bucks, it was nice to have that option and can come in handy if you know you won't be home during certain hours and don't want your package to be left at door or if its signature required. For those that have tried the printable templates, make sure you haven't got a "scale to fit" or "fit to page" option set when printing.Having a FAST LTE on a plan that is not unlimited can be problematic so it would be nice to have Sprint as an option (of course assuming you are in a Sprint LTE service area). The so called compelling evidence could just be the case that Apple have told manufacturers that this option exists now to get headphones on the market for the launch and isnt compelling at all that they are dumping the normal jack. The bold font selection is a nice option.I'd love to see like the post above some form of waterproofing so that I'm not afraid to use my iPhone in the rain also and I've sent this suggestion to apple, a small translucent ring around the home button that has a pulsating ring of light for missed calls, messages, email etc if not then a led somewhere for the same purpose, a smart wifi option so it switches off once you leave your home wifi and will come back on once your home or it can remember where other wifi locations are and switch back on once you get to that area.It seems Google have gone for the half-arsed 'force text to fit the screen' option rather than the more elegant 'load the page in a readable format from the word go' that Apple takes.watch out for "iPhone for life" if you terminate your agreement you must pay ALL future device payments and then you have to either hand them your phone or you have to take their purchase option so for example if i lease an iPhone 6 64 gb for $25 a month and i have 21 months left, i have to surrender my iPhone PLUS pay them $525 i guess the purchase option would be another $224 i am sick of people calling this deal a rental going around and making sure all the various news sites telling you how bad the iPhone 4 life program is almost as futile of trying to destroy every last copy of Star Wars the Holiday Special if i pay the future device payments plus take the purchase option, i bet i still won't get an unlockAnd moving isn't an option, kind of hard to just pick up and move when the Army gets to say where I work. They will mostly likely do both, launch app and have it float in the middle of the screen with black bars surrounding and then a stretch to fill screen option like the iPad, honestly the stretch wouldn't look bad since when the iPad did it to the 3.5 inch iPhone apps it still looked ok, I doubt a .7inch increase would be horrible. As well: 128 gb option 5 inch screen Thicker, with twice the battery life Other than that, hardware wise, I can't think of anything else that I really really want that apple would ever implement (SD card and removable battery come to mind as nice options, but don't see that ever happening).the screen is bigger, but the only place i noticed it was in angry birds where all the angles were wrong... :-/ but by far is the fingerprint security option, and by this i mean that for the past 2 years i turned off the passcode option as I'm just not that issued with people i know having access to my phone, but was a "little" worried if i lost it, but the fingerprint option is awesome, full lock, but a 2 second thumbprint and its unlocked.Yes, I'm absolutely concerned about these things... but for the purposes of this thread, I for one am more gobsmacked that of all of these other things that the OP should be worried about, he instead has chosen to fixate on a rather absurd one: he wants to disable the fingerprint reader on a device which can be used to collect insidious data, and buying said device - the option which is most effective - is an option he finds acceptable.I might not have been so eager to switch had Google not gotten rid of their EAS option, but since they did I didn't have much heartburn about moving my services to iCloud, especially after I bought a MacBook. So I wouldn't completely rule out the option of defective aluminium or bad assembly causing strong pressure from the inside of the phone. My phone is a 3G not the 3gS Ability to transfer data via bluetooth (admittedly, i don't use bluetooth that often but it would be nice to have the ability to do so) 5 items on the dock instead of 4 (i had my phone jailbroken for awhile -not anymore- and really loved that option) Ability to open .ICS events natively especially when I'm traveling and my phone is the only option for email checking (i do not have an exchange account or mobileme) Flash (yeah, i know, extremely unrealistic given Jobs' comments about Flash not terribly long ago) An earlier post mentioned a drop-down on the home screen for wi-fi options, i.e, the same function available on the Mac desktop.

credit
They did take my credit card in case I never returned the defective unit, but they never did charge me any kind of fee for the advance replacement. Some kind of confirmation of the credit card will be nice...But on the subject of credit cards, if you are wise with your spending you can rack up some great reward points/perks for using one.I'm inclined to give this video some credit, to be honest...And at least once a day, one of those blissful vacationers leaves their sunnies, their wallet, their credit card or their smart phone on my bar.The rep was extremely friendly and said that it had already been waived and that the credit will show on the next billing cycle ... That's weird, I didn't even contact them before that to get it waived, I'm still not sure if it's an error or if it's going to show up next month but if it does I'll probably just contact them and tell them it was supposed to be waived.Since I started tapping my credit card I thought it was a nice feature but not thread worthy. It only that the issue was ONE of the following: Invalid shipping address Invalid credit card information Duplicate order received The item is no longer available I have a feeling the issue was that we ordered from an AT&T authorized dealer.I've already got a hit on my credit report from some collection somewhere I have no idea about and I'm still investigating and I'm just worried about putting more weird dings on.i'm worried about the possibility that maybe my credit card was denied, and i have no ways to know about the situation Bad english skills alert on me!****** i highly suggest one card for express check out in app as the system gets really buggy + slow the more clicks you need to do, if any way to use one card i would try.....they state a gift card issued by credit card co but given the wording i would assume that it would be ok for two credit cards i know a lot of online merchants like the top dept stores will only allow one credit card but mutiple store gift cards, you may want to send a quick note under a different email just to confirm as apple is quite strict.... in worse case you could get the gift card from one of the credit cards and that will def work, good luck!If their happened to be a Target you might be in luck, they have some pretty insane surveillance, I saw them pull someones credit card number off a camera that wasn't even zoomed in and it was like crystal clear, Target even has a forensics division...that was back in '07 too....but I'm betting any nice mall should have surveillance cameras.Blaming the economy or everyone else for your bad credit history or bad choices in life doesn't sound right to me.If I were in bad straights, I would be embarrassed to rant about this, and have us all know about my lousy credit rating, and just want to complain when it's my fault.
device
It would be worth it if Apple optimized iOS 8 and made it fluid and gave it more intuitive features for a larger device.Pretty nice device - let's see if it was worth the wait...Something about the 6 Plus that is just incredible..i just feel like i have the whole world at my finger tips...a big very beautiful into this world, and the way the space gray 6 /6plus in the front looks with the edges sloping off and like the blackness of the front display and just the way it seems to morph into the edges and kind of like consume the whole front of the device is amazing...plus ( no pun intended lmao) i love the battery life, it is absolutely incredibly good and lasts a very long time I like the 6 design better then the 5S/5 design overall.... One thing I do wish though is that i wished they made a darker model then Space Gray (like the dark slate color from the iPhon 5) , that would look even moreamazing imo.. Yeah the 6 plus may be big but it is obnoxiously big beautiful and turns heads and i have caught people just looking at my phone (and when I had a 6 i remember I had seen a few 6 Pluses in the wild in peoples hands and them using it , and me just going to my self "wow that screen does look really nice and beautiful actually") it actually is one of the reasons why i went from the 6 to the 6 Plus because of envy and also the other obvious (battery life, screen size and res, OIS )Went from the 6 to the 6 Plus and am beyond absolutely happy and satisfied and glad that I did, no regrets at all and i am already used to the Plus now...the bigger screen and 1080p panel, the OIS, and espcially the noticeably better battery life of the Plus makes it feel like a big upgrade from past iPhones and a legit upgrade...I am absolutely in love with my Plus, if you dont mind a Note 3 sized phone/phablet , the Plus is the way to go, I promise you wont be let down The thinness and tapered edges makes this device great to hold in hand IMO, and keeps it slim and very tolerable and lighter and skinnier in pocket due to its form factor OIS is the smallest reason to upgrade to the 6 Plus, but OIS most certainly does help in low light and makes the Plus produce better images then the 6, you picked a bad few examples, OIS helps quite a bit in low light On a 6 Plus here, came from a 6 , and have noticed absolutely no difference in performance, both scream and peform blazing fast and give fantastic graphical details in games alongside with superb high frame rate, Vainglory looks and plays beyond amazing on my Plus I agree to this, 6 Plus performs just as blazing fast and stupdenously fast as the 6 I switched from which I had own for over a month and a halfWell then i stand corrected..and glad you were one of the lucky ones who got it back.....i was just going by what a retentions agent told me.....but she also told me that there is 1 spvr in charge of this plan who can also add it back.. Thats a great deal too...and comes close the 20 for 10 for the same price.......but if you dont need a ton of data then a great value is if you can get retentions to match verizons 10 gigs for price of 6 for 80 bucks...cuz you will get the 15 buck device charge with that deal too...and slap a fan discount on in and your payin about 62.50 for the data.......niceThere is no phone at all out there that is 6 inches screen and smaller then the Plus Im sorry to say...and the bezels are not bad at all on the Plus, the black front and curved edges makes the screen really beautiful actually, the bezels are not bad at all, although obviously they could of made it slimmer for a overall smaller device, But the thinness of the Plus and weight makes it the easiest phablet to hold and use after a long period of time, slim fit in the pocket, and noticeably thinner then just about every phablet out thereAs far as the processor, I really don't mind which device has the faster processor, though it'd be nice to have those really great graphics on the Air 2, I really don't care whether my iPhone or iPad has the faster processor. After using my 6 plus for a while, it feels great to have a small, stylish device. This, this website is superb and it helped me find a 6 Plus 64 Gb in stock right at my local Apple store, I got the 4.7 inch 6 on Launch date, and I had it for about a month, I loved it but the Plus was looking so luring and amazing once I got to play with it a few times, I was so sure at first I didnt ever want the Plus, but then I started envying it, and then My brother ended up buying this Plus at Apple and we traded my 4.7 inch i6 with Applecare + on it for a 64 gb 6 plus for me, and I honestly couldnt be anymore satisfied and happy with this, I am beyond happy I got the plus, I love this thing and Im already use to the size, the thinness of the device is truly what makes this phablet actually very tolerable imo and its very slim in the pocket, The bigger screen alongside with the stupendously good battery life alone is beyond worth it and also OIS, All other phones just feel tiny now to me hah, TLDR: switched from a 6 (never thought id get a phablet) to a Plus and i am beyond in love with this thing and i am beyond satisifed and happy i went from the 6 to the 6 PlusIt's a wonderful, beautiful device.IF you get lucky, the blue shirt will go to his/her manager and speak about it... the manager will then come over to you and say, yes we can cancel the 2 year contract and you'll have to wait for your upgrade eligibility to kick back in, which generally takes 5-10 mins... if you cancelled twice, you're SOL as it locks the upgrade and you'll have to call AT&T and they'll have to call some other to have it restored which will take 3-5 business days... to avoid that, if you're on a family plan, I'd suggest you pre-order with another line thats not looking to upgrade right away... that way your upgrade is available right away and theres no waiting around... if you're the only line, I'd suggest you log into your AT&T mobile app and keep refreshing the upgrade eligibility page until you see it kick in... once they cancel the 2 year contract, theres an option for the NEXT or you can purchase the phone "device only" which means you pay for the phone completely, right there... again, I've experienced stores where they will flat out tell you they cant do such a thing, blah blah blah, cancelling will put the phone back into their online pre-order batch, which is BS... you just need to get lucky and have a blue shirt willing to do it for you...So I am very happy now with the 6 plus...having the chance to use the 6 made me appreciate using the 6 plus that much more, however the 6 is still a great phone..great portable device.A parting thought, the Blackberry passport is also a beautiful and well made device worth looking at for the business minded professional.I mean, the Plus is an awesome device and all, and the screen and battery are unparalleled, but I have to tell you, the size becomes a burden if you're happy with using your phone how you are now.Or without returning and waiting it out until they become ubiquitous in stores... And being the most popular device that Apple sells, I know and have experienced quality taking the bench next to just pumping these things out, getting them in every one and their mothers' hands and making those quarterly earnings looks AMAZING, INNOVATIVE, PROMISING.I don't think it's unfair to say that 99% of iPhone users would be happy to wait an extra second if they could have the screen quality of a samsung device.I also purchased a basic phone as a second line.... ATT customer service was worthless...they didn't know what they were talking about and was always getting the run around..ontop of that the LG basic phone I ordered was in stock but they never shipped it to me and its always says backordered.....Since the 3DMARK is doing everything in its power to STRESS the device, and while watching it on my AIR was still impressive (to me) I am starting to become more confident that the PLUS will last well through two years and good enough for my third. When I brought it into the Apple Store I told them it had to be defective when manufactured because that couldn't possibly be the quality Apple designed. The woman working there was nice enough to charge us "only" the $109 they charge right now to replace the screen, even though the whole device had to be replaced. The trip is always worth it to get what you pay for which should be a device you see fit for purpose.I received my 6 on the 19th and although it is a beautiful, amazing device, I found that I was lusting after the Plus which is not normal for someone who just got a new device.Aside from the occasional minor 8.0.2 bugaboo, the device itself is beautiful and flawless, and a pleasure to use.I'm an avid reader and after trying all the iPad's and Kindle's, I think the 6+ is the perfect device for me to read on because it's always with me.So we aren't trying to "fit" the 6+ into our existing workflow (like we did with the 4S->5 transition), we're supposed to adjust our workflow to fit the device (like we did when we first got an iPad, iPod or AppleTV).I agree one size doesn't fit all for screen sizes and I think the 6 is a great device.Wow, seems like Iphone 6 Plus is having a lot of problems...I tried the Note 4 at bestbuy today and it was stunning and a wonderful device on all regards...its great that we have the choice of the two different sizes...grateful for that so now everyone can be "happy"....it's funny to me that we have android people talking smack about iPhone users and now there is the 6plus vs 6 talking smack to each other...at the end of the day you have to choice to get the device that fits your daily life and that's all that matters.Spending seventy pounds to cover a seven hundred pounds device didn't sound too bad too bad to me.So far, things I prefer about the 5.5 On-screen keyboard size The resolution of the display, fit much more on screen and photos look awesome The physical finish of the device, better than the 4.7 Stuff I prefer about the 4.7 More compact Easier one handed use Minor but noticeably better performance. After 1 week of using my 6 Plus, it has been great device and will still be a great device.Great phone hardware wise (screen, camera and battery life) but for me it is just too big a device to use, especially with a case on it.I understand you want your device to be perfect since you dropped $300+ on it and feel like you have the coolest phone on the block but let's not get feelings twisted over an inanimate object.I know that apple tested these phones 15,000 different ways, with sophisticated equipment, and are smart enough to know releasing a device that 'bent in your pocket under normal wear' would be a poor move for them, I just dont think they would do that, and I believe their testing facility is fully capable of recreating whatever circumstances alleged bender victims have hypothesized.I can see having to wear bigger pants if the phone literally doesn't fit, so that is changing your clothes for a device I guess if that's the case and you end up buying the phone, but I don't think it should bend just from being in your pants, assuming you can fit it in there obviously. The Smart Cover for iPads is such a great tool to use to prop up the device on its own so I could set it on my nightstand to watch media without needing to balance it against something. Thanks for sharing Glad you like your 6, it's an awesome device and looks beautiful.doesn't make sense to have that kind of bend on a large device, unless you are wearing a 50inch tight jeans that can fit an iphone6+ horizontally.I agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GBAgain, amazing device, just be sure it'll fit into how you use your phone.Yes the 6+ is a beautiful device and the battery advantages is definitely appealing..Now you know how it feels for all the people that always wanted a bigger screen to be more productive and use it more as a smart device and enjoy all the awesome benefits of a larger screen. To think that a device this much bigger and thinner than what people are used to won't require ANY change in handling is kind of astounding really.I bought my DSLR as a refurb and with this kind of device, it's way better to have refurb than to buy new from a shop, in addition to the great discount.Get Apple care + it's well worth the cost, any time you buy a high end phone or device getting Double the warranty and accidental damage protection is worth it.I got to do a real "test drive" on it, and although it was super impressive & the screen was awesome...I had to face the truth that it just wasn't the device for me, given a choice of the smaller version.I'd also say that, if you're not a heavy tablet user then this is the perfect device....kinda finds a happy medium.I received my 6 Plus yesterday, physically it is the most perfect apple device I have ever opened, no marks of any type at all, very happy with the assembly QC on the outer case.I'm glad some of you already have the new device, lucky you.It is the perfect size (although I do wish they cut down the bezels more and fit a 5" screen in the same size device). The plus is perfect for me as one device for all & will fit in pretty much every purse I own.If however you want the latest and greatest iPhone and your going to keep the device for a couple of years or more then it may be worth adding the extra money and getting a 6, but as I said the 5s is still a very, very capable and good phone.if i switch to some other device, it might save me money, but i would have to go through all the trial & error to find the perfect apps that i need and sometimes the accumulation of all the knowledge about my preferences is worth more than a few hundred dollars.IMO great piece of technical device, I'm glad I'm keeping it..A mentality that this device you have is expensive, precious, gorgeous, and you want to keep it that way.I'm sure it's a great device and the extra screen real estate is awesome.Couple reasons... the rMini has the amazing Smart Cover that allows it to stand on a hotel nightstand, and the rMini's battery is way way longer and its overall screen size is almost double the real estate.. so going to keep using it as my media device :-)Agreed, maybe I'll change my mind once I have one but I've tried the Galaxy Note 3 before and hated how it two-hands was an absolute requirement to function At the moment the Xperia Z3 Compact is my personal favorite device on the horizon based on its compact size for one-handed use, flagship specs (snapdragon 801, 2gb RAM, micro SD, 20mp camera) and great battery size at 2600mAh.3) The device access discounts are nice and worth it.I guarantee you'll be coming back here to these forums gushing about how beautiful the device is and how nice it feels in hand when you get yours. If you have more than 10GBs of data and just have to have the latest and greatest Apple device, then yeah it's worth it.I been dreaming of a iPhone that as thin as a iPod touch, ever since iPod touches came out i would hold them in my hand and be like wow imagine one day a iPhone becomes this thin.. That day is coming now , i know some people dont care about thinness at all and yes the device being ultra ultra thin isnt the biggest thing to a phone, but the i6 is going to be a absolute dam joy to hold in hand, feel in hand, and to just look at.That's not a bad thing though as it's a nice looking deviceI guess this signifies that I am kind of over the whole notion that the device is something precious or neat and its just a utility finally.Google's Nexus 5 is a great little device with the best version of Android, but the battery life is atrocious.Apple is amazing for creating a sophisticated computing device that's so simple even an 80 year old who has never used a computer can pick it up and be comfortable with it in no time.I love my 5s, I cannot imagine using an iPhone without Touch ID now, but the 5c is certainly a great device and a great alternative to the 5s for people who want a different shape, a different feel, and a bit of colour.Seriously, glad you are happy with whatever device you chose, but hey.. since it's an iPhone.. heck yes!To answer OP: 5S is a great device and a worthy upgrade from the 4S.But, that's just me.. and I'm happy just to have such an amazing device. You agree not to misuse the Service or Device, including but not limited to: (a) reselling or rebilling our Service; (b) using the Service or Device to engage in unlawful as a device more keen to wider experiences, as screen real estate allows for more enjoyable movies and games experience, for instance. It's an amazing device and with my 5S, I am just excited about it as I was with that first iPhone back in 2007.It's definitely worth the upgrade, and if you're not interested in a bigger screen, the 5s is a great device with Touch ID (which works great) and is probably the most future-proof iPhone released yet.You deserve perfect cuz you paid for perfect , your not the bad guy cuz you demand your phone work , that's called taking a stand and not letting subpar quality control affect you because it shouldn't affect one of us , we as consumers should stick together on something like this and give each other the knowledge to get the job done , not doubt and call names like children Than why after 3 white box replacements through the mail with the same manager on the case did I get upgraded to a 5s white 16 gig , I'm begging people to not make statements that aren't true , if you suffer through 3 defective iphone 5 they will upgrade you to a 5s because after 3 refurbs they must give you a new device and they don't make new 5 anymore they only have refurb white box , I video tapped all 3 of my white box unboxings right from the signing to the opening and they all had scratched screens or something else and I had the proof , not only did I get upgraded I received a call from Erik from corporate who was stunned with what I went through and sent me a 32 gig iPod touch , just please stop assuming people are trying to commit fraud because we aren't , we are simply here trying to help each other get on the right path to enjoying their devices and if sharing my story and the email address of the managers that helped me gets something done for someone else and helps out one more lost person going through what I did that makes me feel great , we should all recieve perfect devices the first time and that don't happen but we have rights and should use themI'm sorry but Mary realized how much time and effort I put into getting a good phone and I could have switched to android but I stayed the coarse and now I have a new 5s and she gave me a black leather case , then after I emailed Tim cook about the ordeal Erik gustafson calls me and hooks me up with a free 32 gig iPod touch for my daughter , don't let the negative people affect you , there are good people at apple and I gave you there names and emails and you should be treated like gold now , I hope all works out buddy have a happy new year and after 7 replacements I would demand a new device and then you will get upgraded don't be afraid to ask because you have rightsYour speeds are horrible, but with a LTE capable device speeds are respectable.I'll take my college degree, great job, and my great cell phone service and you can call me low end all day long, but at the end of the day (and my contract) I will have paid less for the same device you have. That said, I've loved my iP5 - LTE, the beautiful screen/color accuracy and speed of the device are wonderful.1gb of RAM in this year on a device that is this high priced is horrible, especially when the Air 2 got 2gb of RAM and the amount of apps and tabs held in the background are far more than this paltry 1gb horribleness. And my posts usually attack the iphone and apple when it comes to ram because this amount of greedy pathetic gimping of a device is disgusting and I make no attempt to disguise how much I hate this decision.watch out for "iPhone for life" if you terminate your agreement you must pay ALL future device payments and then you have to either hand them your phone or you have to take their purchase option so for example if i lease an iPhone 6 64 gb for $25 a month and i have 21 months left, i have to surrender my iPhone PLUS pay them $525 i guess the purchase option would be another $224 i am sick of people calling this deal a rental going around and making sure all the various news sites telling you how bad the iPhone 4 life program is almost as futile of trying to destroy every last copy of Star Wars the Holiday Special if i pay the future device payments plus take the purchase option, i bet i still won't get an unlockEither your device is defective or something, mine truly does run buttery smooth with Reduce Transparency on And alot of people also report they too have buttery smooth 6 pluses, stop trying to grasp at straws and claim that since one person on a forums on the internet has the issue, then all the sudden everyone has it because that is beyond from the truth Every phone has downsides, but the 6 Plus is currently the fastest phablet and smartphone really on the marke at this moment with the 6, the Snapdragon 805 is inferior to the Apple A8My 6 Plus has been absolutely amazing and I have absolutely no lag or stutter at all on my 6 Plus, your 6 Plus seems to be defective, Sounds like you might not even have a 6 Plus, why would you spend all that money when a ton of your "problems" is something you could of always seen in person hands on with the device or so (surely you tried the device out before forking over money) And Siri has been working for me 90% of the time and is light years better then what it has been, that seems to be a connection issue on your part with Siri having a response like thatyeah but that lag in your video is very serious and clearly seems to be something mechanically defective in your device if that is common, I came from a 6 to a 6 plus and the 6 plus is just as buttery smooth fast as the 6 that i came from, with no lag or stutters for me ever I also have TLC nand memory, which is suppose to be the worse NAND that causes some people issues but i myself have had no issues at all with it Try a hard reset (home and lock button until screen turns off completely) and also try turning on Reduce transparency in accessbility in general in settingsyeah but that lag in As bizarre as it may sound, it appears that some people may have been ashamed of the capacity of their deviceFor some reason I always think its really sad when I see such a beautifully designed device that is as large as a tablet/phablet but only 16GB...your going to be constantly clearing room....do yourself a favor because in the long run it will help and you might regret it far after the 14 or 30 days you get it...so many people I know regret getting the 16GB model....I feel almost bad!Weird, how the CEO uses a inferior device with a case on it.I seriously think Apple just posts fake stock for bots to try and buy like someone else said.. Because I was waiting for that and I even checked the stock on another device on apple's website a second before I pressed buy and it said available and then after I tried and got the error it immediately switched to unavailable... Like they just post one to trick bots into trying to buy it quickly for someone and it automatically fails on purpose and the stock is gone.. Apple please stop fake stocking your storesAnd since it's a rather expensive device, their angry opinions damn well better be heard.Well right, I agree the 6+ is the inferior device for bending too, but that means absolutely NOTHING with regards to whether the bending issue is any worse than any other phone on the market (besides the 6 of course, but even that is arguable based on testing).I really wanted one for my personal device, but I do way too much one handed work I was afraid I would get too frustrated. This happens every time a new device comes out and the same dishonest people will always be dishonest.Needless to say each time I attempted to use an Android device I found it frustrating and sloppy compared to iOS and always went back.I was afraid I would drop it, due to not being used to moving around with a bigger device.I was a bit frustrated so maybe the title of the thread could have been better but its truly amazing to me how most people on this forum get so ******** over mentioning a competitor device.A rate of up to 2% of new devices shipping with a defect is not uncommon with consumer electronics, and it just seems worse with an Apple device because the immense volume of sales means that a larger number of people will inevitably receive a defective unit.Just because someone points out flaws in a device doesn't make them jealous lol... by your logic, Apple fanboys are all jealous of Samsung's plastic phones.Like the argument that Apple is evil and the workers in china all die etc.. Those ppl did obviously not understand that the lithium for every houshold device is harvested from poor african childs in lithium mines and most of them die or get serious lung problems but thats ok, because the real evil are the apple factories which means foxconn and those factories actually produce for alot of companies, not only apple. This one doesn't have a fault either......it's just pathetic Internet trolling that a very very few minority of people have suffered, in which most of them will have suffered due to misuse......it's as simple as that......and if you haven't bought one yet, then simply don't buy one if you're that worried......I have bought one, I'm treating it like the respect it deserves for being such an expensive device......if you can't handle such a big phone in your lifestyle, don't buy it, simple as that......I guarantee they will still sell more phones than anyone else this year, and I know it's not about sales, it's about customer satisfaction......and as i said, a few moaning idiots on here doesn't show the majority vote here......people who have no issues will not bother coming here, they will simply be enjoying their device and getting on with their lives.....something I wish all the moaners would do instead of just crying about issues that don't exist if you treat things properly. My mom couldn't fit the Plus in a lot of her pants and my dad's hand got tired using the device. Then it shouldn't be new to you either that sitting with a cell phone in a tight pants pocket can subject your expensive device to undue stresses at best, and damage at worst.+ is an appealing device, however I personally feel it looks a bit obnoxious when up against my head on a call. Please be honest not just excited about your new device.Indeed, no device is perfect and I'm extremely wary of jumping from the frying pan into the fire so to speak.I figured something was up, so I did a mock edge upgrade, only to find my account locked for upgrading because my MEID didn't match the one on my agreement (my device had been replaced with Asurion and they gave me this awful S4 instead of a Moto X, unless I wanted to wait a month to get a functioning phone). The screen size might be amazing to use but when you have to carry the device in jeans/trouser pockets and often find yourself needing to use it one handed on public transport, it is totally impractical for some people.Trying to ascribe bad motives to whoever had the device blacklisted is just sick, and it's wrong, and it's a pathetic whiny excuse to avoid doing the right thing and turning it in to the police.Especially, since every Android device I've ever used has felt awkward and clumsy by comparison. They replaced a defective device with a defective device. What's ironic is that, because of the original iPhone with no 3G, AT&T had to spend months backfitting their system for a higher speed EDGE so the new Apple device wouldn't look pitiful running at 59 Kbps.If the phablet hasn't developed into a great device by the launch for iPhone 6, I don't think they will jeopardize the iPhone 6 hype by releasing a mediocre phablet. To me its not worth it cause its nice to pay $199 or $150 for a new device instead of $650.Always ask the buyer to bring a SIM so that both parties can verify the device fully functioning [Note: Scammers usually don't sit to inspect the device nor bring SIM cards to test devices] Additional Notes: - eBay buyers can open a dispute against the seller up to 30days after the purchase and correct me If I'm wrong, Paypal direct sales can be disputed against up to 45days === DO NOT SELL YOUR iDEVICES DIRECTLY VIA PAYPAL, NO MATTER HOW NICE OR CONVINCING THE BUYER MAY BE, YOUR PROTECTION LEVEL IS LOWER vs having eBay on board.Old device worst case: (0 + 20mg) and (1g - 20mg) New device worst case (0 + 95mg) and (1g - 95mg) Old worst case inclination: atan(20/980) = 1.16 degrees New worst case inclination: atan(95/905) = 5.99 degrees So I think we've found our culprit.Yes, I'm absolutely concerned about these things... but for the purposes of this thread, I for one am more gobsmacked that of all of these other things that the OP should be worried about, he instead has chosen to fixate on a rather absurd one: he wants to disable the fingerprint reader on a device which can be used to collect insidious data, and buying said device - the option which is most effective - is an option he finds acceptable. That looks stunning The only thing I don't like is the home button put on the frame, thats so android like and I never liked it on my friends device but the rest looks great & I also like the light up Apple Logo but that would be replaced by the home button again, maybe the lil square lines of that button could light up when I get a notification, I would welcome it...otherwise it depresses me that we all have so many wonderful ideas but we all know that Apple will never implement them into the final productThere could very well be bad publicity for Apple, they will be releasing a product which is somewhat defective right when you turn it on..... Sure Apple has alot of people who will still buy the device regardless of how many probs the thing has, but then you have people who will come after Apple just like they would any other company who releases a broken product and does nothing to fix it.

Went from the 6 to the 6 Plus and am beyond absolutely happy and satisfied and glad that I did, no regrets at all and i am already used to the Plus now...the bigger screen and 1080p panel, the OIS, and espcially the noticeably better battery life of the Plus makes it feel like a big upgrade from past iPhones and a legit upgrade...I am absolutely in love with my Plus, if you dont mind a Note 3 sized phone/phablet , the Plus is the way to go, I promise you wont be let down The thinness and tapered edges makes this device great to hold in hand IMO, and keeps it slim and very tolerable and lighter and skinnier in pocket due to its form factor OIS is the smallest reason to upgrade to the 6 Plus, but OIS most certainly does help in low light and makes the Plus produce better images then the 6, you picked a bad few examples, OIS helps quite a bit in low light On a 6 Plus here, came from a 6 , and have noticed absolutely no difference in performance, both scream and peform blazing fast and give fantastic graphical details in games alongside with superb high frame rate, Vainglory looks and plays beyond amazing on my Plus I agree to this, 6 Plus performs just as blazing fast and stupdenously fast as the 6 I switched from which I had own for over a month and a halfNothing is perfect -- iOS 8 has quite a few bugs, but I think these iPhones are awesome. For what you pay, it's actually a great deal, compared to previous iPhones, and 128GB at $399 is a great deal, considering the competitors at $100 less don't even get close to that (even with expandable). In order, these are my favorite iphones ever 1) original iPhone- still my favorite phone ever 2) iPhone 4, loved the industrial look of the new design 3) iPhone 6, love the way it looks and feels.I just want my once-pristine and flawless iPhone 6 Plus back to looking brand new and beautiful again (like I've kept ALLY of my previous iPhones looking like until trade-in.(not just the worst of iPhones but one of the worst designs of any modern smart phone).I'm super happy at how fast video focuses too, I think the 6s is going to be the ultimate, the s version iPhones always seem to perfect the camera. So, i can 100% assure you that even tho, istocknow is a GREAT tool to find iphones in this days, There are two complete different stocks for both kind of customers, the ones buying iphones online, and the ones that prefers to walk into the Apple Store.I think it's great though to read everyone's opinions on what size is perfect for them and how they are adapting to their new iPhones.Funny, I purchased the 5s and a few months later the 5c and think they're both wonderful, and real, iPhones.I've purchased iPhones for as long as they've been out there, sung the praises of Apple to the mountaintops, and slowly filled my home with Macbook, iMac, multiple iPads and iPods, not to mention spent $1000s in music in iTunes...and there's the rub, it's because I've been such a loyal customer, accustomed to wonderful and rapid service, that this botched rollout has raised my ire, this is not what I'm accustomed to with Apple, and galling is a great description of my feelings at present. These are very nice, I will be getting this one for my wife.... She killed already 2 screens in prior iPhones so it will be worth itThese tech websites are making these iPhone bending reports such a big deal, of coarse it's gonna bend if you put that much pressure on it, any phone would...People always find the smallest things to complain about, a lot wanted a big iPhone for such a long time now they got it but keep finding negative things about it, people want thin, light, indestructible and cheap and they'll still not be satisfied, simple solution of putting a case on it would solve the issue...out of at least 10 million iPhones only a small percentage of iPhones actually were bent but these reports are making this such big deal and people are actually going out and exchanging their phones smh...just my opinion thoughMost people put their iPhones in cases, you can get this great Spigen case in Slate today if you want it (I have it, I'm a Slate fan, it looks great). While there were a lot of enthusiastic Apple fans eager to get their hands on the new iPhones, yes, it was disconcerting to see others in line who really couldn't care less.I agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GBThey got me in by 10:30 and I was out of there with a new phone with a beautiful, perfect screen by around 11:15, despite the heavy traffic of people picking up iPhones ordered online.I am very excited for my new iPhone to arrive, I think it will be a great product, and possibly the best generation of iPhones yet.Now take a deep breath and be happy that we're lucky enough to even have iPhones in the first placeUGLY UGLY iPhones no matter what size.Maybe Android is worth a look for some people that aren't really happy about the new iPhones, or iOS in general. This might be of interest to some of you thinking about upgrading to one of the newer iPhones based on screen size: There's something nice about the fit of the items on the iPhone 5, although as always the extra resolution does help see more. The best iPhones ever.. A very promising Smartwatch (that looks great)The spare line was just that a spare unlimited data line because it was so cheap but I don't really use it in anything so I figured being able to cycle three upgrades (worth $450 a piece in subsidy on iphones) was worth having a 2gb plan instead of unlimited on that line, so long as my bill doesnt go (if I lost the $20 off)I mean you are a snob if you think asking a question like that to "potential snobs" would help you get any meaningful insight..Although this is the best forum site(among all smartphone forums) to have an actually neutral and intelligent discussion, you should ask it on a general tech forum imo to know what the non-iphone owners think of those with iphones. The glossy surface and fantastic colors make it look sleek and stylish and I love that it has a black screen (I'm not very attracted to white iPhones or the white screens on the iPod touch 5).That said, the 4 and thus presumably all the iphones have some very attractive and alluring aspects to them (see the Maserati and beautiful woman analogies above). However, early iPhones with the very first iOS versions of a kind could have really funny bugs.I mean I've re-sold iPhones and I've seen bad ones, but this one is the worst one I've seen ever.Just got the silver one, it's beautiful; my previous iPhones had all been black so I was tired of it and I'm not a fan of golden, silver one is just perfectSo been very lucky with lost iPhones and very kind people.Great post mate and im still loving mine, had a few snide comments at work about having a yellow phone but then caught the main one looking at new iphones on the web lol Still pick this thing up and love it, have gone white with 4, 4S and 5 but agree the black front totally works with the vibrant colours, white would just not give the same look im also amazed at the number of U turns from 5S back to 5C, love it, keep any more pics coming as love seeing them and it keeps this great thread going!Other phones don't bend in your pocket even when you are moving so no it isn't user error, it is either a design flaw or s bad batch of iPhones that came from one of the factories.Since t-mobile offers 15$ a month plan we can buy more iphones and port new lines into t-mobile up to five lines trade in some cheap verizon phones buy some cheap t-mobile phones and month later we get etf gift cards.64GB SG & 64GB GOLD ordered in store 9/22 Shipping window 10/30-11/10 GOLD shipped 11/11 out of Fort Worth no emails received from AT&T only one order traceable online (although both shown) online chat didn't work on Safari phone call at 3pm 11/11 rep says gold shipped SG pending GOLD shipped at 3:45 pm phone call to at&t was only way i can find status of SG phone they said a shipment of SG iPhones is expected from China in 2-3 days that the AT&T website is not perfect is not excusable considering their pocket books BE PATIENT FRIENDS - yours, too, will come no need to get yourselves upset or use unkind language towards hapless dronesBorg.... resistance is futile...you will be assimilated... you will be the same unsubscribed ps... am I the only one who thinks its weird that their iPhones are so important to them they cannot miss a call or text that its life or death each time... that given all that they actually put the thing down and walk away from it.This seems a bit shady, I would see the point with other phones with this kind of code, but with the iPhones, Apple maintains the imei white list.I suspect that even though some people simply got a bad Genius, many of the posters on this forum with bent iPhones that were denied a replacement phone were turned down due to their awful attitudes.I wasn't 100% happy with the keynote introduction of the new iPhones... they seemed mostly incremental and on paper weren't impressive but I was going to stick with my decision.Happy you're happy but understand that there are much better iPhones...Its so strange to me that Space Gray is more popular, since the iPhone 5 I was worried that Black iPhones might have become a thing of the past!I've never, never seen a bad photo on any of my older iPhones, my wife's 6 and my 6+ are also doing great, but ALL of them produce extremely bad pictures even if you zoom in just a tiny bit.Anyway, we just text and voice with the iPhones since we got tired of the very small screens and keyboards of our old "dumb" phones.People were screaming " give us bigger screens blah fingerprint sensor isn't spectacular blah" and now people are screaming " why are the new iPhones big wee the 5s is too big for my pocket"...FFS, im sitting here next to my front door waiting for my UPS 6 Plus delivery, which could come anytime from 9am-7pm, and now I have to deal with dorks from the forums complaining that their iPhones are horribly defective and atrocious.I'm excited for the new iPhones but I'm also happy with what I have now. Can't wait until it's revealed that Lord Zedd used his evil powers to steal all the iPhones, thus meaning that none of us are getting a damn thingI am afraid it might be the iPad 3 of the iPhones which had a worse performance than ipad 2 due to retinaIf they won't let you swap out your husbands iPhone for a dumb phone, then just do the above with two iPhones and a dumb phone, and use the proceeds from the sale of your iPhone 5 to defray the costs of your friend's iPhone 6.I've never owned a recent iPhone (the iPhone 4 was the last version that I owned) but in my experience all iPhones have been very laggy in opening apps, and especially bad at answering phone calls (many times the call ends before I can make the dumb "slide to answer" thingy actually work.I'm not saying there isn't flickering problem on some unit, on the contrary I'm sure there are defective units, I'm just saying it's not a problem for most of the iPhones .... Not completely sure, but I think refresh rate on a phone is not set by software.Check out this link: I'm just going to keep my iPhone 5s the way it is because it's barely noticeable (especially from a normal distance) and I've seen iPhones that are way worse than mine, so I definitely don't wanna trade it in for one that's worse. My 5S had the annoying resistive click when I pushed it certain ways, most frequently when I pressed it in the center and it made it really annoying to double press for multitasking but I am pleased to say that after close to 2 weeks usage it is now performing like it has on all the past iPhones.Alot of people have had there iPhones replaced for minor scuffing, apple don't care they will replace it for CUSTOMER satisfaction, please remember that the lowest model of the iPhone 5 costs 529 pounds and costs 140 pounds to produce, please don't comment if you're going to troll because you are a 'perfect human being' NO ONES PERFECT, take your music buying skills somewhere else, cause tbh no one cares.A Low Reflective Screen Mode For When You Wish To Read Ebooks On The iPhone Not as much real estate wasted on the front of the phone as current iPhones (The black part on the top and bottom of the iphone need to be much smaller, basically, almost all of the front of the phone should be the screen) It's ugly how much space/real estate is wasted on the current design of the front of the iPhone Front facing camera so that we could make videocalls, atleast while connected to Wifi N iChat Support Flash Support (I want to access hulu from my iphone damn it!)

The nice thing about apple being stupid with RAM is that the 5, 5c, 5s, 6 and 6+ should all turn to **** at around the same time performance wise.well i went back to my 5C and honestly its fluid and the right size for portability I have a rMini and macbook air so apple still in my life... What I found was apple puts alot of effort into their macbooks - look at yosemite - its amazing fluid fast and runs amazingly on the macbook air, secondly ipads - these are also great for what they do just look at the new ipad air specs are amazing...Glad your happy with your 5CFunny, I purchased the 5s and a few months later the 5c and think they're both wonderful, and real, iPhones.my wife went from a 5 (same as the 5c) to a 6 and thought it was worth it and is very happy with it too.I am excited about the 5c, I think it will be a great iPhone for me.The iPhone 5c looked cheap to me but when I held it, it was fairly nice feeling. If you're the kind of person who is purchasing an iPhone 5c because its free when the iPhone 5s is $99 and iPhone 6 $199, then you're probably the kind of person who doesn't care about specs or its a phone for a teenager.Hi guys, I suppose that most of the people are excited about the new iPhone, just like me, but I just discovered a strange flashlight bug on my white 5c.I agree, i don't have any issues with ram on my 5c but If I pay a smartphone $800, it better be high tech, It's been a while since we had a ram upgrade, 2gb of lpddr4 would be awesome, more than that would be freaking wonderful hahaTwo weeks ago I got the iPhone 5C and it is a pretty great experience, and the battery is great too. It's a hard one I loved my 5 bit 5c was amazing as well feel wiseBought the 5C, lovely to use, feels great, screen, weight and feel are an improvement over my 4 never mind it being zippy quick no regrets.[QUOTE=IpadSC400;18965323]That's nothing...my dreams involve midget dwarfs and purple donuts... Glad you like the 5C now: Worthy start of a thread topic that oneI love my 5s, I cannot imagine using an iPhone without Touch ID now, but the 5c is certainly a great device and a great alternative to the 5s for people who want a different shape, a different feel, and a bit of colour. It's also worth nothing that right now performance wise, at first glance and in UI terms, there is very little between the 5s and the 5c.Fit a 2400 mah battery into the iPhone 6 and I'll be happy PLASTIC ISN'T THAT BAD Don't be afraid to design a more durable iPhone in plastic -- the 5c is actually the best iPhone to hold, while remaining sleek and beautiful with its unibody design -- there's nothing wrong with that.Personally I just don't like the 5 and 5s design at all but I upgrade every year so the 5c fit me perfecti had a iphone 4S and i this jump up too the iphone 5C it was worth it two me has the iphone 5C was a big upgrade too me overe the iphone 4S i was going too get the iphone 5S but i did not really need a iphone 5S am vary happy with my iphone 5COf course if you come across a great deal on the 5 or 5c, they're great phones too.I can't believe there is people that despise the design of the iPhone 5S, come on the thing is absolutely beautiful, I got the silver one and it seriously is a work of art, most beautiful phone ever, In fact the beautiful design and the smoothness of IOS are the only reasons I stay faithful to the brand, that tacky 5c can't even compareJust wondering if it is worth the upgrade for someone else, nothing will change my opinion on the 5c being a great phone.Maybe I am considering one as a gift...over buying the much cheaper 5c as a gift... Maybe I don't want to be cheap when giving a gift...just trying to hear from experienced 5s users so I can decide if it is worth the extra $100 as a gift for someone else. The 5C make a bold statement, though it's plastic it has a lot to offer and I kind of like that. But there is a misconception here, the truth is, hardware wise the 5s bites off more battery life than it can chew, leaving the 5c being the phone with the most impressive battery life.Same, I wouldn't say I use it for anything intensive so I think the 5C will be just great for me I usually keep my phone for 2 years so if it can last me that long I'll be well happy with it.And the 5c fits right into an iPhone 5 case, the only thing is the volume button shape which throws off an otherwise perfect fit.i still cant get over how amazing the 5c is... im sorry but im pretty sure its because ios7 is butter smooth on the 5c and the curved corners is making it amazing to hold...It would be intriguing to see what the 5c would look like if someone got brave and sanded the gloss off.I would go with a 5c to be honest, its just so nice the feel is amazing, my sister has one I'm just waiting to get mine, good luck choosingGreat post mate and im still loving mine, had a few snide comments at work about having a yellow phone but then caught the main one looking at new iphones on the web lol Still pick this thing up and love it, have gone white with 4, 4S and 5 but agree the black front totally works with the vibrant colours, white would just not give the same look im also amazed at the number of U turns from 5S back to 5C, love it, keep any more pics coming as love seeing them and it keeps this great thread going!Got a 32gb blue 5c today after taking my lumia 928 back, so far I am happy, feels good and looks great, also a fan of iOS 7, nice new look and featuresStill love my yellow 5C but my lass saying the green is just amazing after we saw it in store yesterday, very vibrant green !!It's great there are so many happy 5c owners and I like how a lot of people (like me) had every intention of buying the S until they saw / held the C in person and changed their mind!I am happy about my 5c, but I am also concerned, that the iPhone 7 will be as large and ****ing ugly as the 6.I this got the iPhone 5C wish still have ios 7.1.1 install wish am not going two upgrade to ios 7.1.2 in tell I can fined out from you guys if it's is In fact Ios 7.1.2 that's doing it to iPhone 5S then a again I could have a bad battery or bad iPhone note I live in the foothills in Sonora CA.so according to me 5s is great but 5c is also a great alternative.just wondering because i feel as though the 5c colors are horrible and childish lookingiPhone 5s honestly feels a tad boring to me, and the 5c looks awesome but with 2012 specs.I've had lots of iPods and an iPad and my phone was this cheap samsung intensity(a sliding phone...DUMB PHONE) then I got a blue 5c just a week or to ago.I was scared that the iPhone 5s would have bad battery life because I had a 5C for about a month and I'll tell you it wasn't anything like this. This phone is simply beautiful and not just hardware wise... but most importantly, it marries the software and hardware unlike ANY OTHER IPHONE ever... IOS 7 is simply created with iphone 5c in mind.Usually the "cheap"(last years) iPhone gets a 8GB version but this year with the iPhone 5C the cheap version gets 16GB standard.
