delivery
The nice lady started an investigation into my order and was kind enough to change the delivery from Ground Delivery to Expedited Delivery.Getting excited now Lol play COD till you see that beautiful delivery truck pull upI asked if Apple could do anything for me to make me happy about this mess and was told (with a bit of an attitude) I should be happy that my delivery window of 10/19-10/30 had been updated to 10/6.This site is driving me crazy I can't keep coming here and obsessing on WHEN WILL I GET MY PHONE I'm not getting a damn thing done On the bright side I do have a fancy new iPhone 6 Plus CASE I can carry around and fantasize about what it might be like to carry around a real phone Maybe I should just go get a big 'ol magnifying glass to make my 5s look bigger in the mean time Oh and my wife - she thinks we all are crazy tracking every baby step our phones are taking from conception to delivery out the birth canal We are by the way .UPS is doing such a great job....A great job at manipulating delivery data!!I'm kind of amazed at how ridiculous this delivery situation is getting.I may just be impatient, I'm not sure, but after seeing strange things like the delivery date go from 10/1 to 10/2 to 10/3.Yep you are lucky, funny thing is that on the tracking it still shows on time with delivery by EOD today lol...I'm not so sure about the delivery dates moving for the 6+ models, since most people whom delivery dates that are moving forward are the ones who've ordered the iPhone 6.Pre-ordered 6+ 64GB SG @ 1.46am CDT on 9/12 Estimated delivery 10/2 - 10/13 My AT&T site reads 'pending shipment' Cancel button on premier site reappeared 3-4 days ago No sign of any shipment or tracking number Happy for others seeing some progress ... just wish I could see some kind of update!Im hopeful too...that would be great....I was scheduled for October 1st to 6th delivery...was happy when it moved to the 25th....Monday would be awesome! What I really find amazing is, aside from AT&T blowing us off and telling us we're liars when we bring this to their attention, you can actually google articles that websites are writing about AT&T and how they started shipping the 6 Plus early with delivery dates set for today: So I guess those people were lying too in addition to everyone here lucky enough to be able to post screenshots the last few days with positive reports.my productivity this week has dropped dramatically...cant stop refreshing the order page and check ups for my 6+ i'm grateful that my 6 is already on its way for 9/19 delivery.... but I'm desperate to get hold of the 6+ too. With only a day left, I'm a little bit worried, but seeing that the delivery date is still for 9/19 and I ordered Friday when it first became available, I'm not too worried.Faster delivery, amazing customer service, trustworthyI think it must have taken me around 2 minutes to go through the whole process Delivering 9/19 I have been refreshing the Apple Store site for at least two hours (you never know - maybe the website could come up before the official start) and in the last hour I have been refreshing every 30 seconds... At least it was worth the wait..Two minutes after I ordered I saw that the delivery times started going north...Got my Delivery Time: Wednesday, 09/25/2013, By End of Day Not terrible, was hoping for tuesday, some lucky jerks have confirmations for today, but I can't complain.I got my letter from Apple that "my items should ship between oct 20-27" That is right on track for my delivery estimate of Oct28-Nov4 Unlocked sg+128 9/29 Apple is dumb for making only one black front faced phone and two white............ most of us use cases and you never see the gold..sg..silver... but you see the front and most people want black except for girls and impatient people because its the only phone that might be in stock near you... rant over...Damn ATT even went cheap with my delivery they used UPS ground 3-5 days.Yes, no one get too excited about shipping, I received the emails/texts for my gold on the 4th, tracking didn't show up until yesterday, and then the news was only that an electronic shipping label had been created, it finally departed Memphis this morning with an expected delivery of THURSDAY, and I literally live a mere 4 hours from there!!!I have a delivery exception due to bad weather, delivery has been rescheduled for tomorrow... Let's hope it doesn't get worse.I'm really not terribly pleased with how this whole pre-order process has gone (from the late arrival compared to others who ordered after me, to the UPS shipping delays, and finally to the invalid delivery dates I have been quoted from both Apple and UPS).I wasnt expecting an early delivery, would have been nice, but I will just be happy if it actually gets delivered on the 25th, the day I asked to take off of work to be home for the package.Meanwhile, I sit here drunk and sad and checking my delivery status every 26 seconds.FFS, im sitting here next to my front door waiting for my UPS 6 Plus delivery, which could come anytime from 9am-7pm, and now I have to deal with dorks from the forums complaining that their iPhones are horribly defective and atrocious.I'm nervous about clicking that: afraid I'll mess up my delivery.Worse comes to worse, I'll accept delivery next Friday then go to a store and hopefully find a Plus.
charge
Well then i stand corrected..and glad you were one of the lucky ones who got it back.....i was just going by what a retentions agent told me.....but she also told me that there is 1 spvr in charge of this plan who can also add it back.. Thats a great deal too...and comes close the 20 for 10 for the same price.......but if you dont need a ton of data then a great value is if you can get retentions to match verizons 10 gigs for price of 6 for 80 bucks...cuz you will get the 15 buck device charge with that deal too...and slap a fan discount on in and your payin about 62.50 for the data.......niceIt gets me almost 8 hours on a full charge, which is great since my 5S would be dead by 5 hours if it was lucky.Example: Old Plan 6GB Mobile Share with 2 smart phones = And I upgrade both every 2 years New Plan 10GB Mobile Share Value plan with 2 smart phones Data Charge = $100 Number of phones = 2 15*2 = $30 18.75 x 2 = $37.5 New bill evaluated cost = The question to ask is if its worth it, in this case for an extra $7.50/mo, for the new plan and extra 4GB of data. While I'm more than happy with those numbers (my 4s battery was shot and giving me 2-3 hours max just sitting on the table) I have to be honest, last charge it showed similar numbers so I left the house with 30% thinking it would be more than enough to last me while I went out for a bit and wouldn't need to charge it til I got home...phone died within 3 hours.Seriously, geniuses are usually more inclined to give attractive young female customers what they want for no charge. They sure charge a lot for literally doing NOTHING worth that kind of charge. This is obvious that no smart phone is worth for 3 days (even 2) with one full charge.Um, PhoneArena battery testing is awful and they dont even disclose how they run their tests, they are not reliable at all, Anandtech has the best real world life usage testing PhoneArena doesnt even disclose how they do their testign, they dont go at all into details, their testing is not reliable and doesnt match more then half the times with multiple other battery tests done by other websites and also reviews Anandtech is one of the most reliable, reputable non biased websites on the web, their results and testing and analysis is really almost unmatched in the industry Anand does not write any articles or post anymore on Anandtech, he has put others complelty in charge and now works basically full time at Apple, you dont just throw out years of extremely reputable fame and non bias and renown that Anandtech has built over the years with the industry, terrible damage control, its widely known now that PhoneArenas testing is flawed and that they dont even disclose their testing Lol yeah, im sure the iPhone 6 plus only gets one hour more of battery life then the 6, what a joke, nobody takes PhoneArenas testing seriously anyway, their testing is flawed they dont even disclose how they do their test I went from a 6 to a Plus and I get way more then one extra hour of battery life with my Plus What do you expect, it powers a Quad HD screen , the GPU has to push more pixels, the display is bigger and has a bigger drain on the battery, the 28nm Snapdragon 805 is not as power efficient as the 20nm Apple A8, this was pretty obvious just by looking at the specs on paperBattery life is great, but it's still nice to get a quick glimpse to see how long until I need a charge.Cycle Count: 479 Design Capacity: 1430 Full Charge Capacity: 784 Status: Success Battery Current Capacity: 60 Battery is charging: true External charge capable: false External connected: false fully charged: false gas gauge capacity: true.I had been on AT&T since 2010 and just moved to T-Mobile, as mentioned above, love the unlimited data not to mention the talk and text, my plan on AT&T used to be 450m/1000text/2gb data for a monthly charge of $75+tax and now I have unlimited data/talk/text for $30+tax (add on in a family plan) , its awesome , however the service in my home sometimes drops , when I called Customer Service I was told New Tower installation is imminent.- Manufacturing defects: bad lining/container, bad charging logic or circuitry, chemical breakdown of electrodes or charge material - Keys or other metal objects shorting contacts at the wrong place and at the wrong time - Excessive heat or voltage applied Batteries are serious business. After a while trying to understand why my fullchargecapacity was dropping like crazy(sort of 50mAh per charge), a noticed something: Batterycurrentcapacity:100 Batteryischarging:true Fullycharged:false I guess this is THE THING that is giving to the users a variety of different fullchargecapacities, my example: Cyclecount: 38 Fullchargecapacity: 1243 Batterycurrentcapacity:100 Batteryischarging:true Fullycharged:false I let my iphone plugged in to my computer, and after a while i opened the ibackupbot again, but this time something showed up differently: Cyclecount: 38 Fullchargecapacity: 1304 Batterycurrentcapacity:100 Batteryischarging:true Fullycharged:false So, I guess my advice is, if you want the app to accurately measure your fullchargecapacity, you have to wait till the batteryischarging:false and fullycharged:true.iPad 2, roughly two years old: Cycle count: 584 Design capacity: 6583 Full charge capacity: 6373 Status: Success Battery current capacity: 100% Battery is charging: False External charge capable: False External connected: True Fully charged: FalseContrary to my previous post after only 24hrs with phone and pathetic battery life.... Once fully restored, backed up on iCloud and second full charge to 100%, the current status since last full charge is: Usage: 3 hours 54 mins (approx 4 hours) Standby: 17 hours 41 mins Battery remaining: 50%.
account
Mind you I had a 5 figure balance and no strange transactions (checks from clients coming in and money moving into my PayPal account to pay my staff abroad...Also, these kind of people probably are more likely the kind of people who pay attention to how secure a payment method is... and they aren't going to like that it wants bank account info.So - taking into account Apple deprecated the 64GB 5s model from now on, I've just immediately bought the 64GB iPhone 5s - while they are still present here in stores... And now - I'm REALLY happy with it: I've got the extremely convenient TouchID feature, better camera etc, all in lovely 4" size.I personally like the online reservation system and think that a great way to make it work better for the end user is to require a cellphone account of some kind.Looks like I got lucky and got a CSR that was happy to credit the account without asking a lot of questions. We have 2 iPhone 5 and 2 iPhone 5s on our account and we pretty much don't have to repay 6 months worth of subsidy on the 5 and 18 months worth of subsidy on the 5s.My coworker let me borrow one of his lines and test AT&T because I told him my test with my Verizon iPhone last month was an epic fail Turns out this test was flawless at my home using his account So yesterday Verizon lost my 3 line account to AT&T- I had to get my iPhone 5s reprovisioned again which was the issue the last time and why service was so slow on AT&TThat means for my plan 20 gb of data goes from 200 a month to 150 and the smart phones each drop from 30 to 15 I have a total of 7 smart phones on my account.my buddy upgraded to a BB Bold in may 2009. then upgraded to a BB Bold 9700 in May 2010. he doesnt have a high revenue account, and now since they updated that eligibility checker it shows $159 pricing for him...I've had my 6+ since launch day, Sep. 19, and I was nervous when I pre-ordered at 3 am, I was nervous when I saw all of that money leave my account, and I was nervous when I saw the huge box.But like the Best Buy method and other weird workarounds that have been working for 2+ years, they don't care or it's not worth their time to fix whatever computer code is allowing a few people to renew their unlimited data plans or add a line or 2 to their account.hey guys ive had my iphone 6 for a week now and i have ios 8.0.2 installed on it, and the battery life is just terrible, i have background app refresh completely off, email push is off and my email account is set to manual instead of fetch, i can't figure out why its so bad, i mean if i dont use the phone then the battery holds up i guess but if i use it to browse facebook or just play a game or whatever it is drainging really quickly.. i also have notifications turned off for nearly every app other than messages and facetime.. i cant figure out whats causing the drainage.. i have my brightness set to 1/4 of the full brightness as well so its not my brightness. With the FCC unlocking policy changing effective Feb 2015 (although not retroactive) and the overturning of the insane law that made unlocking phones from outside the provider illegal I would go ahead and get it fully unlocked from one of those websites....Sprint are insane with their strict UICC SIM card being locked to the phone and only allow one unlock per account per year....I mean God knows they need it since their company sucks, I hope this changes because even though I didn't like Sprint's past and current service and deployment plan the new CEO is really changing things up to a more sensible solution.Glad I'm not the only one - I was worried something was wrong with my account.Just checked my email and I got an email from att @ 8:03( just saw it now) talking about a change with my account ( got nervous) followed the link it took me to my account ( weird).Got an email from AT&T though reviewing my plan and telling me stuff for my account, but who knows....happy for everyone in the group in shipping mode, feel bad for me, hahaIf you take into account that there are some fake answers on one end; also take into account that there are fake answers on the other side - Second, I don't think the problem is "the phone will bend in your pocket in your first couple of days of use", but "the phone will eventually bend in your pocket".The biggest issue is one can make an account with bogus information and just keep making accounts all day long once the next one is band (for malicious bidding activity).Ranting on twitter about the HORRIBLE UNACCEPTABLE customer service I have received with no resolution to my issue in sight, an AT&T rep responded and asked for my account details.Scammers have a lot of tricks from sending money from bad bank accounts that somehow clear into your account, to returning a different phone back and claiming you sent them a bad product, to just shipping back rocks AND PAYPAL SIDES 99% WITH BUYER NO MATER WHAT.Maybe both batteries were just bad, maybe something with my iCloud account was corrupt or there was some other unresolved issue, I don't know, but that was the reality I had.I figured something was up, so I did a mock edge upgrade, only to find my account locked for upgrading because my MEID didn't match the one on my agreement (my device had been replaced with Asurion and they gave me this awful S4 instead of a Moto X, unless I wanted to wait a month to get a functioning phone).Changing IPs is pretty easy to do When I log into my account, I DID see a few that said invalid (when I click on invalid it tells me why... "same computer").Christopher: We called about that before and the lady and her supervisor were so rude and unwilling to look into it, I was very close to closing the account all together, but my son actually convinced me not to because he loves your service Alfonso : I understood that and we appreciate you for staying with us.My phone is a 3G not the 3gS Ability to transfer data via bluetooth (admittedly, i don't use bluetooth that often but it would be nice to have the ability to do so) 5 items on the dock instead of 4 (i had my phone jailbroken for awhile -not anymore- and really loved that option) Ability to open .ICS events natively especially when I'm traveling and my phone is the only option for email checking (i do not have an exchange account or mobileme) Flash (yeah, i know, extremely unrealistic given Jobs' comments about Flash not terribly long ago) An earlier post mentioned a drop-down on the home screen for wi-fi options, i.e, the same function available on the Mac desktop. Also, if you take into account all the towers built by all the companies, coverage is obviously better than the hopeless task of any one company trying to do it all and consumers having the choice only of bad options, as it is now.

period
If you're close to the 14 day period maybe you'll get lucky with someone nice that would let you avoid the large payment and simply return it.There is no phone at all out there that is 6 inches screen and smaller then the Plus Im sorry to say...and the bezels are not bad at all on the Plus, the black front and curved edges makes the screen really beautiful actually, the bezels are not bad at all, although obviously they could of made it slimmer for a overall smaller device, But the thinness of the Plus and weight makes it the easiest phablet to hold and use after a long period of time, slim fit in the pocket, and noticeably thinner then just about every phablet out thereThe 2 of 500+ iOS apps I haven't been able to find Android equivalents of is: - Awesome Note - a brilliant iOS app that makes Evernote or Google Drive look great - Period Planner - a fertility planner iOS app.In my case we have 3 phones(2 smart phones, 1 dumb phone, 1 smart phone on unlimited + 1 smart phone on 300 mb) the old school plans with the subsidies come out to about $1900 cheaper over a 2 year period compared to Mobile Shared Value + ATT Next."Ultra low power consumption: IGZO can maintain the onscreen data for a certain period of time without refreshing the data, even when the current is off.6 Plus screen is nice but using it for an extended period of time at home is not so great in my experience.Through all that copying and pasting you still missed the boat...Oh, please just leave android out of it that **** is old and lame now....but like i said you missed the boat bad, the plus needed more ram period...ram/processor works as a tandem, damn the bench score...what about the issues with safari address that with your bench scores...it will fall back to ram/processorI realize I didn't start using my phone until the battery was already around 70%, and that I was more-or-less using the phone non-stop for this period of time, but this kind of battery life still seems abysmal, especially for simple tasks like web browsing, streaming music with the screen turned off, taking a few pictures, etc.Add to that the fact that they had to make 5 million of these things in a very unrealistic time period, obviuosly the phone is not going to be as perfect as the render on the website.

Ill stay at least until Gingersnap gets hers from apple and she becomes happy again- Update: Tracking number updated and phone is shipping from Fort Worth, TX and its Next day air!Never seen any company charge for gift cards they are happy to "hold" your cash and hope you lose or forget the card which an amazing number of people actually do!Not one or two people with questionable reports but an overwhelming number of undeniable cases of pocket bent phones. That doesn't necessarily mean the ppi that each of these devices came up with is optimal -- I'd argue, for instance, that people often are using their phone from closer than 11 inches and something in the 400-450 ppi range is the optimal number.Pre-ordered 6+ 64GB SG @ 1.46am CDT on 9/12 Estimated delivery 10/2 - 10/13 My AT&T site reads 'pending shipment' Cancel button on premier site reappeared 3-4 days ago No sign of any shipment or tracking number Happy for others seeing some progress ... just wish I could see some kind of update!According to the information below, I wonder if they have even been made yet lol My wife's 6 shows: Nice Name: iPhone 6 Family name: Group1: iPhone Group2: 6 Generation: Screen size: 4.7 inch Screen resolution: 1334x750 pixels Colour: Space Gray Production year: 2014 Production week: 33 (August) Model introduced: 2014 Capacity: 64GB Memory - flavour: xx Factory: DN (China, Chengdu - Foxconn My 6+ shows: Nice Name: Family name: Group1: Group2: Generation: Production year: 2014 Production week: 35 (September) Model introduced: Memory - number of slots: Please tell us how many memory (RAM) slots this machine has.And I can't believe the number of people saying "yeah dude, Next is awesome, great way to go."Actually, I got a reservation number for one of them and had to go back and do that later, but still, I think I was very lucky; after refreshing all pages for almost an hour with no results I had no hope left.6 plus to big esp if you gym it which i do 3 times a week then run 3 days a week on off days as one member said, number two can barely fit in my pocket and just big overall 4.7 seems perfect.i thought the htc one m8 i had was big but jesus christCertainly some rumors are partially true in one form or another and Apple's plans may change over time (which can result in then-accurate reports becoming inaccurate), but maybe there's a way to give some kind of % number for each rumor/analyst source that is a representation of its reliability.Tmobile is setting itself up to be the number 1 provider, great decision after great decision ALL while adding / upgrading customers and coverage, unbelievable job so far by Americas most successful CEO.When consumers switch in noticeable number, Verizon will wise up and offer a more attractive plan.Example: Old Plan 6GB Mobile Share with 2 smart phones = And I upgrade both every 2 years New Plan 10GB Mobile Share Value plan with 2 smart phones Data Charge = $100 Number of phones = 2 15*2 = $30 18.75 x 2 = $37.5 New bill evaluated cost = The question to ask is if its worth it, in this case for an extra $7.50/mo, for the new plan and extra 4GB of data.Great post mate and im still loving mine, had a few snide comments at work about having a yellow phone but then caught the main one looking at new iphones on the web lol Still pick this thing up and love it, have gone white with 4, 4S and 5 but agree the black front totally works with the vibrant colours, white would just not give the same look im also amazed at the number of U turns from 5S back to 5C, love it, keep any more pics coming as love seeing them and it keeps this great thread going!I also ported my number successfully, their customer service is great and you always get some sexy British representative in seconds as its a British company.2nd: the ideal scenario will involve some kind of software/ app/ call through, callback/ ring-through service that will allow me to dial out to a business contact using my business caller ID, from the personal number.A good analogy would be like if you bought the newest and greatest LED TV with the highest number of pixels possible, but the majority of the shows you were able to watch were in SD and just stretched to fit the dimensions of your TV.False again, it is as expensive or as cheap as the case warrants given not the amount in controversy but the amount of discovery needed and the number of witnesses needed. If worse comes to worse, they can change the phone number on the line and change it back.Although, I won't hold my breath considering my shipping window is 11/5-11/14, not to mention I would that they would cover all of the preorders first, but, it AT&T we are dealing with...To make matters worse, I won't find out until they update either the website or send me a text about my order since the 877 number hasn't worked since I've placed the order (although I still try)... Good luck everyone; I am about as impatient as they come, so for those of you waiting from 9/12, I don't know how you have done it without going mad!I will say putting together that list really served nicely as a check on my expectations, and has greatly quelled my desire to repeatedly check the 877 number So, I'm glad I did it, but seeing that AT&T hasn't gotten past the first hour and a half of the first day of pre-orders for my model is a bit depressing.Neither number great, but the increase is nice.!, I ordered the same day at 3:58am, iphone 6 plus, gold, 64gb and have 10/2-10/13 dates and still have backorder message on the 877 number.... We are from TX and yes I am frustrated and mad !!A rate of up to 2% of new devices shipping with a defect is not uncommon with consumer electronics, and it just seems worse with an Apple device because the immense volume of sales means that a larger number of people will inevitably receive a defective unit.Weird, on my friend's 6+ order, it comes up with two orders when we call the 877 number, one with a weird order # that starts with a 789****** (which I can't search against on the AT&T site) that says backordered and another with the correct order number that says in process 907***********.Same here no phone same to confirmation number 197 all the info I get is back ordered Yes mine says the same this is insane the worst experience everI had to go through 6 iPhone 5 devices because one had horrid crackling during calls (every call, to any number and however strong the signal was), four had loose buttons (including the one I ended up keeping), and three had nasty scratches on the casing (as well as loose buttons on two of them). It kept showng me my daughter's phone number on the 2nd or 3rd screen (she didn't want a new phone) so I was afraid I'd be deactivating her phone, but it went great!Hmm...I saw the same thing when I put in my phone numbers and then a fake number to see what was happening, but if I put in a fake number (even a valid land line number) it doesn't work.Used sndeep service to check it and this is what I got: Model: IPHONE 6 SPACE GRAY 64GB TMOBILE-USA IMEI: 3520XXXXXXXXXX MEID: Serial Number: F1XXXXXXXXXXXXX ICCID: Bluetooth MAC Address: XXXXXXXXXXXXX WiFi MAC Address: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Activated: false Next Tether Activation Policy: Multi-Mode Unlock Original Carrier: Multi-Mode Unlock Network Unlocked: false So, it looks like as soon as the phone can dial into Apple, the unlock will happen if I understand this report correctly. The number of people giving out BAD INFORMATION about NEXT is sad.I'm annoyed, so I call the customer service number from the website, and I tell the person that I wasn't happy with the service I received in the apple store, they ask for which store, and when I tell them, they're like "okay, I'll connect you to the store manager" and before I can say anything, they transfer. If their happened to be a Target you might be in luck, they have some pretty insane surveillance, I saw them pull someones credit card number off a camera that wasn't even zoomed in and it was like crystal clear, Target even has a forensics division...that was back in '07 too....but I'm betting any nice mall should have surveillance cameras.of the folks going to the Genius Bar have a genuine concern and issue, there are a good number who are trying to cheat the system, make unreasonable demands, feel entitled, or are unreasonably obsessive over the slightest thing Personally, I have a lot of sympathy for anyone in customer service who has to deal with people who are rude, arrogant, entitled, idiots, sneaky and more Customer service of any kind is typically a thankless job with little reward I'm not saying all Geniuses are angels themselves, but I tend to believe much of the vitriol directed at them is unjustifiedMy experience has been less than stellar with AT&T when a fraud rep says your husband of 27 years did this because he calls Mich and has been calling the same number the thieves used for their insurance claim then has to retract it because the numbers are to Flint Mich vs South Field Mich that's bad.A few months after having my phone i dropped it and where the sim card would go popped open which was weird and noticed it had a sim card which i am pretty sure it never had another weird thing it was a at&t sim card and my google number was assigned to it which i know i never did. That is a paltry number in relation it's sheer size.He replied back saying "nice nice, no problem" All I can say is: 1) seems like his number he's using to make the deal 2) told me he works near Starbucks (which is att) 3) screen shot the whole convo with his number You have no protection when buying phones on CL.Bad news: She gave you a fake number or worse blocked it.

days
I got a 6+ two days ago, it has a very nice even cool display just a gorgeous screen ,compared to my brother's which has a yellowish warm display.I spent a few days last week watching craigslist last week and bought a sealed iPhone 6 Plus 64GB Gray last Friday for $725.00 - Activated, went to Apple store grabbed a leather case and an extra lighting cable for use with an old iPad charger for use as my travel charger (Supposedly it charges faster with the bigger iPad charger) Anyway, if you're tired of waiting or don't want to be stuck in a contract paying way over full price for a phone, this is a great alternative.IF you get lucky, the blue shirt will go to his/her manager and speak about it... the manager will then come over to you and say, yes we can cancel the 2 year contract and you'll have to wait for your upgrade eligibility to kick back in, which generally takes 5-10 mins... if you cancelled twice, you're SOL as it locks the upgrade and you'll have to call AT&T and they'll have to call some other to have it restored which will take 3-5 business days... to avoid that, if you're on a family plan, I'd suggest you pre-order with another line thats not looking to upgrade right away... that way your upgrade is available right away and theres no waiting around... if you're the only line, I'd suggest you log into your AT&T mobile app and keep refreshing the upgrade eligibility page until you see it kick in... once they cancel the 2 year contract, theres an option for the NEXT or you can purchase the phone "device only" which means you pay for the phone completely, right there... again, I've experienced stores where they will flat out tell you they cant do such a thing, blah blah blah, cancelling will put the phone back into their online pre-order batch, which is BS... you just need to get lucky and have a blue shirt willing to do it for you...I'm now very very happy with my 2nd replacement unit which is doing absolutely fine and shows no signs of any bending after 2 1/2 weeks (with the exact same kind of usage that the former iPhone bent under after just 2 days).I agree those plus battery screenshots do make me a bit jealous but I can't drain the 6 before I have gone to bed, so sure 2 days would be sweet but as long as I dont have to charge in a 24 hour day I am happySo, i can 100% assure you that even tho, istocknow is a GREAT tool to find iphones in this days, There are two complete different stocks for both kind of customers, the ones buying iphones online, and the ones that prefers to walk into the Apple Store.Feels great, battery can go for 2 days, takes great pictures, and the screen is awesome.I used my iphone 6 for 12 days before i returned it and went for a 6plus now here are the differences:- iPhone 6 Pros One handed use light and pocketable Cons to be honest except for the design there wasnt any difference btw 5s and 6.. battery life was almost the same n so was the display iPhone 6 plus my experience:- as i have used LG g3 and Note 3 going for a phablet wasnt a big deal for me..but to be honest this thing is big and not that much easy to carry around in your pockets but two things made me just fall in love with this beauty 1st its bigger and FULL HD display [on iphone 6 i can easily see jaggered lines on the text n Fonts but here on iphone 6 plus everything is smooth n crystal clear] second man o man the battery life is awesome and superb.. to be honest iPhone 6 plus is the real upgrade for this generation while 6 is jus OKFunny enough, I had a space grey 6 plus on launch day........kept it for 4 days then returned it, loved it but found it to cumbersome when outside......used a friends 6 for a day........ Decided to order the 6 plus again! If you travel and much as I do (internationally 300 days a year) then moving through airports etc with bags in tow, catching up on work emails etc, one handed use is a must.. Having said that I now have a 6plus as a big screen is also great when working like this.So I got my 2 year contract phone delivered, and waited a few days til the launch dust settled, then went into an Apple store, staked out a friendly, smart looking employee and said I wanted to return my phone, then have them sell it right back to me on the Next plan.I remember 3 days ago I was happy, excited.I posted my pics/video because I'm pissed that this beautiful, amazing phone bent in the pocket of my shorts in three days with nothing extraordinary going on.I am really not angry at anyone...the simple fact that millions of phones can be shipped from the other side of the world in a matter of days is amazing in and of itself.Perfect size to be honest for me now after having the phone 3 days now.8 planes landed this morning to last night....people will get phones with the next 3 days..yet they are impatient...... i got tracking yesterday, and never wavered on cancelling...if they said phones were preordered on 12th and wouldn't ship to next week we wouldn't have any problem waiting, BUT bc others have gotten theres people are flipping out...... Note- i don't have mine yet either, ...i finally got shipping yesterday...i was frustrated too, but i understood, in due time it will work out....Pre-ordered 6+ 64GB SG @ 1.46am CDT on 9/12 Estimated delivery 10/2 - 10/13 My AT&T site reads 'pending shipment' Cancel button on premier site reappeared 3-4 days ago No sign of any shipment or tracking number Happy for others seeing some progress ... just wish I could see some kind of update! What I really find amazing is, aside from AT&T blowing us off and telling us we're liars when we bring this to their attention, you can actually google articles that websites are writing about AT&T and how they started shipping the 6 Plus early with delivery dates set for today: So I guess those people were lying too in addition to everyone here lucky enough to be able to post screenshots the last few days with positive reports. You are better off going directly with Verizon to avoid things of that nature (unless you are truly getting some sort of an amazing deal from the reseller that would make the extra conditions they have worthwhile for you, or if you perhaps don't care about those conditions if you were let's say planning to keep the phone on the line for a few years anyway and more than 180 days).6 plus to big esp if you gym it which i do 3 times a week then run 3 days a week on off days as one member said, number two can barely fit in my pocket and just big overall 4.7 seems perfect.i thought the htc one m8 i had was big but jesus christI'm feeling very content and grateful (and excited) considering I accidentally fell back asleep when I was supposed to be getting ready for the pre-order but luckily woke up 3 hours later and got lucky enough to get 7-10 days on the 6+ 64GB with T-Mobile.There are people who will wait on line for 10 days to get tickets to a music festival or fly cross-country to attend a road football game, not sure what's so shocking about a tech fan wanting the latest and greatest shipped to his home as soon as possible.I have heard that Verizon Stores are not that bad on iPhone launch days but I anticipate this one being kind of crazier than the last few years.Apple Maps was flawless in Sicily, we drove for several days, got it right each time and we were utterly amazed that even tiny dirt roads that maybe three people a day drive were accurately represented. The cable worked 4 days so I bought a cheap cable (It wasn't actually cheap. The guy at verizon a few days ago said that during week days I probably don't need an appointment...so I just walked in and the nice apple guy helped me out by checking me in and within 10 minutes another great guy came over to help me!That was extremely handy at the time because I was using a 1995 Performa 6116 to log on to the internet & it was so brutally slow it took like three days for MaBell & similar sites to load, so I was glad to be able to pay all bills straight from PP's site. However, 60 days later I picked up the 5S because it just seemed like more of a powerhouse and, to be honest, the thumbprint unlock (which I was totally against at first) has become my favorite upgrade item.Keep you inform about any drift during next days ..... Nice Name: iPhone 5s Family name: Group1: iPhone Group2: Generation: CPU speed: 1.3GHz Screen size: 4 inch Screen resolution: 1136x640 pixels Colour: Space Gray Production year: 2013 Production week: 35 (September) Model introduced: 2013 Capacity: 64GB Memory - flavour: xx Factory: DN (China, Chengdu - Foxconn) Nice Name: iPhone 5s Family name: Group1: iPhone Group2: Generation: CPU speed: 1.3GHz Screen size: 4 inch Screen resolution: 1136x640 pixels Colour: Space Gray Production year: 2013 Production week: 38 (September) Model introduced: 2013 Capacity: 64GB Memory - flavour: xx Factory: C3 (China)i am 6'5 and i too have tried the samsung note 2 with the bigger screen and for the first couple of days it was weird but after that i was use to the size and feel i do agree that would be ideal for them to release 2 differnt size screens but i do not think i would want a screen size as big as the note as it makes it very uncomfortable in the pants- running IOS 6 - really great battery life, more than a days worth.LTE in Chicago, IL near Downtown on this plan :-) I have done half a dozen speed tests, over 500 emails this month, messaging, google maps GPS navigation on probably 200-300miles worth, few hours of pandora streaming and I've used 1.2GB of data this month....still got 8 more days and 800MB remaining, this plan is great! It's hilarious how Sprint and TMo users are constantly banging on about their great HSPA/EVDO speeds and are in complete denial that LTE exists these days.I got my 6 on launch day and 2 days ago my husband upgraded from his 5s - he got the plus for me and I gave him my regular six The 6 plus has a beautiful big screen but it was not pocketable and is too big to carry and use IMO- I love to bar hop with my husband and attending Niners and Giants games without a purse so it didn't work for me I saw two ladies using their pluses and they looked frustrated trying to stand type and hold the plus however my sister loves hers - even named it the gold finger lol I ended up taking it back and getting him a regular 6.It is a great phone but after a couple of days I could not use it anymore because of a strange reason: pain in my eyes after max. This is obvious that no smart phone is worth for 3 days (even 2) with one full charge.64GB SG & 64GB GOLD ordered in store 9/22 Shipping window 10/30-11/10 GOLD shipped 11/11 out of Fort Worth no emails received from AT&T only one order traceable online (although both shown) online chat didn't work on Safari phone call at 3pm 11/11 rep says gold shipped SG pending GOLD shipped at 3:45 pm phone call to at&t was only way i can find status of SG phone they said a shipment of SG iPhones is expected from China in 2-3 days that the AT&T website is not perfect is not excusable considering their pocket books BE PATIENT FRIENDS - yours, too, will come no need to get yourselves upset or use unkind language towards hapless dronesFor some reason I always think its really sad when I see such a beautifully designed device that is as large as a tablet/phablet but only 16GB...your going to be constantly clearing room....do yourself a favor because in the long run it will help and you might regret it far after the 14 or 30 days you get it...so many people I know regret getting the 16GB model....I feel almost bad!I remember I was at the genius bar 3 days in a row for about 3 hours when my old MacBook Pro broke, I felt so bad because it was the same genius bar girl, she was super nice but I was about to go offer her something to eat on me (especially since the repair ended up costing nothing).I simply asked a question and now I'm getting **** on for doing so for one I'm not a troll and my canadian sense of humor is just fine, this is the worst forum I've ever been on just awful mean ppl on here now a days!!!!!Damn ATT even went cheap with my delivery they used UPS ground 3-5 days.If after you have tried A. wipe and restore B. wipe and set up as a new iPhone C. LOADED very little apps (after you did B) for a few days to make sure one of your favorite apps is not causing the issue (due to it not being happy with the OS or the developer screwed up, they are human).I was told to setup as new, which I've already tried Interesting thing though - he said that these apps are having problems, so I am going to try a fresh restore again, downloading the firmware again as well, as he seems to think it is corrupt (the firmware): backboardd, com.apple.WebKit, SpringBoard From my jailbreaking days, I know that backboardd is an integral daemon that runs along side springboard, which is also corrupt, per the tech Will restore as new tonight and report back tomorrow afternoon Let us know what they say!If you take into account that there are some fake answers on one end; also take into account that there are fake answers on the other side - Second, I don't think the problem is "the phone will bend in your pocket in your first couple of days of use", but "the phone will eventually bend in your pocket".After 4 days of waiting for Apple to activate it (see my other thread, 'AT&T can't verify my identity'), my luck keeps getting worse & worse.I'm afraid of it getting worse after my 14 days. Those complaining about horrible battery life need to wait a couple days, especially if you see the message that its still restoring Those claiming the have super duper awesome battery life are either not using their phone or are FOS.The bad thing is I've been sick for a couple days and have been napping on my couch, but since I can see the road and parking areas right in front of my living room windows, every time I start to doze I hear something and am gawking out the window thus thoroughly destroying my nap, which is making me feel worse from my sickies. This goes to about 50% of all the crap ive read on here the last few days.....pretty pathetic grown adults come in here to try to make other people feel crappy about a dumb phone purchase decision. She did confirm that reps were sent an email stating they cannot offer expedited shipping on the phone so those of you who got it are lucky but I would not want to risk my order getting canceled just to expedite shipping from China which we all know it takes a few days anyways So while I wasn't happy having to wait October 1-6 because I've always got my orders through and received them on launch day this, is not a dealbreaker for me that I have to wait, it just makes the anticipation far more greater to receive my new phone.I tried my luck and waited for 45 minutes the agent i got was pretty cool but he told there was nothing he can do about it and that all orders are getting expedited, i don't know if its true but he told me that he have received a lot of calls about from people with shipping dates November + including himself; anyway if i can get 6 plus locally at a fair price i might bite and cancel the pre-order, the sad part is my first order got cancel with a "nice" 7-10 days shipping but my new one is 3-4 weeks lol.RAM is very cheap these days, so just cost is not a great reason. Most stores here in Canada have bad customer service these days or horrible pre sale assistance. If I did the next program it would be 35/month, yeah that 10 bucks is worth the convenience of not having to go through what can be an incredibly annoying crapshoot of selling a cell phone these days.I asked Siri to open safari a few days ago and it asked me if u want to search the web for something inappropriate even though I just said "Siri, can you please open Safari" I was a bit offended by that...Siri is really annoying and never understandsWeird problem that just developed a few days ago with no conceivable trigger.I have a family member wanting a 5c/s and I have seen a few on craigslist the past couple days for $300-325 and I am assuming they have a bad esn, I remember reading that the iphone 5 on verizon would work on att/tmobile but wasnt sure if it would if it had a bad esn for Verizonand if they approve they can do swap, so hopefully they can help... Again, I know i had 14 days but it didn't affect me at the time bad enough, its go ten worse over time and yes I know it sounds so silly cause if you don't experience it you have no real understanding and trolls these days do kinda ruin it for legit problemsIt is no different during those good old days just few years ago before Apple revolutionized the industry when majority of the Americans were contented with their ugly dumb flip-phones.
call
Good savings, great call quality, great LTE speed...For those that are lucky enough to live in an area with good Sprint coverage and use it as their Internet, I can imagine it would be of great annoyance to constantly have your internet completely disconnect on you the moment you get a call. Now when i make a call through my Mac (via iPhone) i hear perfect ( have a great set of speakers).I did appreciate the call back and his apology, nice to hear from someone intelligent enough to grasp the situation and be able to explain what is realistic. You deserve perfect cuz you paid for perfect , your not the bad guy cuz you demand your phone work , that's called taking a stand and not letting subpar quality control affect you because it shouldn't affect one of us , we as consumers should stick together on something like this and give each other the knowledge to get the job done , not doubt and call names like children Than why after 3 white box replacements through the mail with the same manager on the case did I get upgraded to a 5s white 16 gig , I'm begging people to not make statements that aren't true , if you suffer through 3 defective iphone 5 they will upgrade you to a 5s because after 3 refurbs they must give you a new device and they don't make new 5 anymore they only have refurb white box , I video tapped all 3 of my white box unboxings right from the signing to the opening and they all had scratched screens or something else and I had the proof , not only did I get upgraded I received a call from Erik from corporate who was stunned with what I went through and sent me a 32 gig iPod touch , just please stop assuming people are trying to commit fraud because we aren't , we are simply here trying to help each other get on the right path to enjoying their devices and if sharing my story and the email address of the managers that helped me gets something done for someone else and helps out one more lost person going through what I did that makes me feel great , we should all recieve perfect devices the first time and that don't happen but we have rights and should use themGreat battery, Great call quality.Borg.... resistance is futile...you will be assimilated... you will be the same unsubscribed ps... am I the only one who thinks its weird that their iPhones are so important to them they cannot miss a call or text that its life or death each time... that given all that they actually put the thing down and walk away from it.I asked if I could use 2 of the dumb lines and purchase the ip6 and add a very basic data package to the 2 dumb phones and then immediately drop the data package and the 2 ip6 and put the old phones with the old call plans back and he said you can't do that anymore because verizon now makes you keep that basic data plan for a year or something.I switched to Verizon because I was tired of waiting on sprint's non existant LTE network and fed up with bad call quality as well as dropped calls.+ is an appealing device, however I personally feel it looks a bit obnoxious when up against my head on a call.I had to go through 6 iPhone 5 devices because one had horrid crackling during calls (every call, to any number and however strong the signal was), four had loose buttons (including the one I ended up keeping), and three had nasty scratches on the casing (as well as loose buttons on two of them).I've never owned a recent iPhone (the iPhone 4 was the last version that I owned) but in my experience all iPhones have been very laggy in opening apps, and especially bad at answering phone calls (many times the call ends before I can make the dumb "slide to answer" thingy actually work. After having consistently terrible service at our new home last year (to the point of getting a MicroCell) I placed a call to AT&T to try and figure out why my service was so bad.Imagine this: In a store waiting by the cashier and your phone starts to tell you: Buy milk - ok that is ok Buy condoms - hmm, tricky Call your boss - hmm, ok Buy tampons - awkward And those are just very simple examples. It was so obvious because 1-4 were worse than the worst for outgoing call quality.T-Mobile has the worst reliability, the worst data performance, the worst call performance and the worst text performance.Yeah probably Yeah if you have a bad phone with the battery being defective you should have already gotten a call from apple telling you.I already tried to get used to the no surf and talk while on data and the annoying "multiple calls" thing when you get another call while being on one, it says multiple, if you hang up with one, the other goes away and rings you back, beyond weird, i realize this is a CDMA thing along w/ super slow 3g when LTE is not avail.Whoah, this is weird that you say that, but when I first bought it and made my first phone call, I got really dizzy and queazy and a pulsing feeling in my head.
morning
Am glad to hear, I was excited about mine getting shipped this morning but at the same time feeling guilty no one else seemed to beDear A Team members : Dear A Team, good morning! We have an NC specific thread going and I was #1 in line at the Friendly Center store and talked to the employee that stepped outside 30 minutes prior to store opening to take walk-in reservations and another member of the NC thread was at the Crabtree store at the same time I was at the Friendly store and we compared stock reports from employees that morning.I'm hoping to get lucky tomorrow morning at the Friendly Center Apple Store.8 planes landed this morning to last night....people will get phones with the next 3 days..yet they are impatient...... i got tracking yesterday, and never wavered on cancelling...if they said phones were preordered on 12th and wouldn't ship to next week we wouldn't have any problem waiting, BUT bc others have gotten theres people are flipping out...... Note- i don't have mine yet either, ...i finally got shipping yesterday...i was frustrated too, but i understood, in due time it will work out....As excited as I was to get my 6 Plus this morning, I have to say that after a day of using it, I'm a little disappointed I didn't go with the 6.Nice intelligent woman said an internal memo released this morning stated that very fact.I am not only worried about my phone showing up Friday, but I am worried because I need to grab one for my wife and son at the store Friday morning. She apologized profusely for me not getting my phone right away, and I kind of hemmed and hawed about them not being able to expedite the shipping without getting mean or being rude (she really was a very nice young lady; I have no idea how she sounded so enthusiastic this early in the morning), and then she finally said "But you know what I could do..." and offered me a free leather case.No thank u - verizon is where I will be - my main reason for moving was pricing - Tamara made that a non issue I am happy it is over - checked the Att acct this morning and it is with a zero balance and closed - and it will remain that wayJust got a 5s space gray 32 this morning ~ Nice phone - and happy to have an iPhone again (and a black phone).I was one of the 'lucky' few that got a 64GB Silver on the morning of launch ('lucky' in quotes because my son and I were first in line at our local Apple store, getting in line around 2:30 pm Thursday).I am really glad to wake up this morning and see the US have officially shipped, that's great news!I have Beta 3 on my 4S in the UK and it's brilliant, it's very usable and HE has a bit of a attitude, I listen to music whilst on the train / walking to/from work and when I asked him the time this morning he said "The time sponsored is 08:15 am, beep" haha quite impressive.Yes, no one get too excited about shipping, I received the emails/texts for my gold on the 4th, tracking didn't show up until yesterday, and then the news was only that an electronic shipping label had been created, it finally departed Memphis this morning with an expected delivery of THURSDAY, and I literally live a mere 4 hours from there!!!I had preordered mine and have already received it but if I hadn't been lucky enough to get through the horrid preordering system (Apple & AT&T kept crashing), then I would've lined up Friday morning & would've probably experienced the same disappointment.Just sent this email to the address that was suggested earlier....couldnt be more disappointed in AT&T right now: Good morning Mr. Stephenson, First off let me start by telling you how utterly disappointed I am in the preorder process for the iphone 6 plus. There will be some super disappointed people on this thread come tonight and tomm morning, target screwed me so bad last yearHey guys, I got my new iPhone 5 yesterday (switched from blackberry and i'm soo happy) but the battery life isn't all that great.I'm running on 6.1.2 If I leave home at 7:00 in the morning, it will only last me to 3 in the afternoon.
site
Trust me, I had to work for it, I was considering selling the 3G iPhone last week on ebay for few bucks if it was worth that much...until I saw the Best Buy ad, the first day I went there they wouldn't take it, so I reached out @ their social media site and they gave me a $100 GC (being mailed), then I went back the following day back to Best Buy and they finally took my iPhone 3G 8GB and gave me $100 for it and also took my iPhone 5 for $180, I was super happy with it.Glad you are still an avid reader of the site. This site is driving me crazy I can't keep coming here and obsessing on WHEN WILL I GET MY PHONE I'm not getting a damn thing done On the bright side I do have a fancy new iPhone 6 Plus CASE I can carry around and fantasize about what it might be like to carry around a real phone Maybe I should just go get a big 'ol magnifying glass to make my 5s look bigger in the mean time Oh and my wife - she thinks we all are crazy tracking every baby step our phones are taking from conception to delivery out the birth canal We are by the way .I watched adult films on my favorite iPhone friendly sitePre-ordered 6+ 64GB SG @ 1.46am CDT on 9/12 Estimated delivery 10/2 - 10/13 My AT&T site reads 'pending shipment' Cancel button on premier site reappeared 3-4 days ago No sign of any shipment or tracking number Happy for others seeing some progress ... just wish I could see some kind of update! All of us who got up before 3 am in the eastern time zone, sat around refreshing the web site for over 2 hours, and couldn't go to a carrier site or the app because we are T-Mobile customers, and then finally gave up and went to bed, and then later woke up and found the shipping times were late October, deserve some kind of acknowledgement.I think it must have taken me around 2 minutes to go through the whole process Delivering 9/19 I have been refreshing the Apple Store site for at least two hours (you never know - maybe the website could come up before the official start) and in the last hour I have been refreshing every 30 seconds... At least it was worth the wait..Two minutes after I ordered I saw that the delivery times started going north...My preorder happened when Apple webservers were crashing at the iPhone5 pre-order extravaganza at 3am EST or whenever I stayed online all night to be able to order and couldn't get the damn site to load after refreshing for hours until finally I got through the checkout of the preorder. There's this new site I saw on Yahoo Tech called UpgradeSwap and it would probably be perfect for you because for one they pay you first through PayPal, kind of like how eBay would do it.That was extremely handy at the time because I was using a 1995 Performa 6116 to log on to the internet & it was so brutally slow it took like three days for MaBell & similar sites to load, so I was glad to be able to pay all bills straight from PP's site.I find this annoying but even worse on my iPad which so many sites automatically load as mobile site.>> oh never mind.. more and more people are moving to mobile site.. so one doesn't have to worry.. << On almost all "mobile" sites, the text size assumes perfect vision and, for me, even with reading glasses, the text size on almost all mobile sites is too small to read without zooming... so, even on the mobile sites, you are faced with the need to scroll each line of text. The Apple apologists on this site are getting worse and worse.I have asked Saab what I could do to adjust the site to make him happy (no guarantee I could do it but happy to listen).Weird, on my friend's 6+ order, it comes up with two orders when we call the 877 number, one with a weird order # that starts with a 789****** (which I can't search against on the AT&T site) that says backordered and another with the correct order number that says in process 907***********.Web site says "Preparing to Ship", 877 says "Backordered", Mom says "Be Patient", and my heart says, "Sad sad sad".Proceed to click the video result of the girl in long socks and Siri takes you to a site with lots of weird nudity...most of which is probably forbidden in the USA (tudou.com).That site is questionable and anyone that tries to take advantage of someone elses good rep to make money sounds shady to me.
amount
Devices that are worth between $100 and $199 will net $200, while smartphones worth more than $200 will yield just the original trade-in amount. And let me tell you about the amazing wonders of having 3GB of ram, the magical huge amount that was so seemingly magical. This colored plastic adds a slight amount of thickness to the paperclip, making it a much tighter fit (if it will even fit at all). They wanted to include a larger amount if ram but the real world cost, both monetarily and power consumption wise, was too great.USCC is a perfect fit for them due to the amount of rural LTE already deployed in the Northeast and it perfectly complements their 700B/C holdings. With iOS7 and the iPhone 5S adding a great amount of security, it would be great if we could set up a password to switch the phone off... Oh well...Seems kind of silly the amount of hoops people are jumping through to get a "perfect" iphone 5.1gb of RAM in this year on a device that is this high priced is horrible, especially when the Air 2 got 2gb of RAM and the amount of apps and tabs held in the background are far more than this paltry 1gb horribleness. And my posts usually attack the iphone and apple when it comes to ram because this amount of greedy pathetic gimping of a device is disgusting and I make no attempt to disguise how much I hate this decision.False again, it is as expensive or as cheap as the case warrants given not the amount in controversy but the amount of discovery needed and the number of witnesses needed.Until this iteration of the iPhone, display size and battery life were not as satisfactory for the amazing amount of media consumption done on a daily basis.Something my note 3 never achieved, most likely due to the insane amount of 3rd party applications required just to dumb down samsungs clunky and poor written software. The phone bends, bends pretty badly under the right pressure but that doesn't mean you'll ever achieve that amount of pressure in the phones lifetime, dismissing the fact it doesn't bend is plain dumb and ignorant. In every case excluding maybe a rare extremely god awful console port pc settings maxed out blow consoles out of the water, those kind of graphics are not applicable to consoles, they at aren't powerful enough, no amount of optimization will fix that.Being able to defer payment at no cost is usually worth it, maybe not as much for such a low amount, but that money will be worth less later than today.Mayhaps the "punctuation keys" on their keyboard are broken/busted, or else the nerves that control the fingers that tap those keys are defective, or they have motor neuron disease and get tired "puffing" at the keyboard, or perhaps they only have a finite amount of time left on this Earth and have decided not to waste it on the split seconds of time it takes to punctuate thought trains. Its a point of contention because most cases are ugly and some people the amount of money they send on cases and films they could damn near buy another phone they certainly could pay for AppleCare+.

-Excellent build quality - Consistent battery life - Great performance - Almost flawless stability - Very bright display - Best app quality when compared with Android - Don't have to wait for carriers when system updates release - Excellent audio quality -Touch ID is a blessingout of the past few iOS devices: iPad 2 was pretty bad iPad 3/4 not bad at all iPhone 5 was awful iPhone 5S wasn't horrible unless you wanted Gold IMO, the iPhone 6 Plus availability is the worst I've seen in any iPhone release, particularly 64GB.I started out pretty patient, it's watching premier members be prioritized over the rest of us peons and now the worldwide release of my iPhone into the hands of those waaaaaaay behind me in the queue that have simple ruined this entire process for me, because there's always been something exciting about staying up until 2 (in my case), ordering your iPhone, and anticipating its arrival when you finally open the box and see your new phone before the vast majority of the world gets so close a look, there was a reward there, a magic, and that's just gone thanks to this release!Surely, if its worth standing in line for on the first day of the release its worth coming back a week later to pick up and play with.I find it funny the release the day it drops the day before millions of people are about to be disappointed by Apple when they can't get the phone of their choice tomorrow. This is great, glad to hear I can preorder the iphone 6 and not have to wait until release date.I'd really just wait for the release of the 6... worst comes to worse you don't like it and save money with the older model. The funny thing is that its kind of seasonal with Apple's release cycles. While FEDEX is sloppy at best leaving packages without a signature claiming they have a 'signature release' nobody in my household signed a 'signature Release' Bottom Line: it's all about the Driver Like any job it's the individual doing the job that makes the experience good or bad.I'm used to pre-orders where the production release is 6 months after the product annoucement, and the order window is small so they can build to what the preorder was... Im not saying that necessarily is desirable, but it really would help lessen some of the madness that is this "omg its next week" and the logistics that are involved and the insane it sells out in 1 minute stuff... received both my confirmation of processing and an email for the other reservation from when ATT couldnt verify...Less excited than with the 4S release - and certainly not excited about a potential increase in price!I get what you mean and understand your point, but nowadays pre iPhone release rumors already kill iPhone sales each year and its getting worse and worse.

Hey I'm currently rocking the black smart flex card case by speck on my slate iPhone 5 and its been my favorite case ever.Took it home, first tried the included Verizon Sim - perfect, then put in a Tmobile Sim card - perfect - then I put in my ATT sim from my current Iphone 6- Bingo perfect.Never seen any company charge for gift cards they are happy to "hold" your cash and hope you lose or forget the card which an amazing number of people actually do!But think about only one thing: if Apple could add a micro sd slot or a proprietary type of card for the iPhone and lock them only for the music this would be a great business.... Be honest 16 gb are enough for anything but music, videos photos and apps are very well fitted in the 16 gb space...However, even if it were vulnerable, better a one-time vulnerability than being vulnerable every time (regular card use), having the CC# stored with Target, Home Depot, or the next breached vendor (CurrentC), or with a card that doesn't offer much more protection except in cases of outright theft (EMV - chip and pin - which was hacked 4 years ago, mind you).I also purchased a basic phone as a second line.... Later in the day i got a phone call saying my card was declined..called and approved but at that point my order was pushed further in the que... waited and waited and nothing changed... until today and kept checking this forum to see where everyone was at....and after finally waiting for so long i gave up and was LUCKY enough to find a device at a Best Buy Mobile store via: idevicechecker.com I would definetely recommend it..got there wiht no line and got my new SILVER 128 gb plus...and I decided to stay with my carrier.. ATT customer service was worthless...they didn't know what they were talking about and was always getting the run around..ontop of that the LG basic phone I ordered was in stock but they never shipped it to me and its always says backordered.....I7 quad core, dedicated video card, blu Ray player and (I must say it) a GORGEOUS full hd screen. They did take my credit card in case I never returned the defective unit, but they never did charge me any kind of fee for the advance replacement.I placed my iPhone preorder around 3:20am on the Apple Store app (the store website would still be down for another hour at least), and while I was happy to be one of the lucky ones to get through a successful day one pickup on a 6 Plus, I was frustrated that there was no provision in the app for using a gift card. Some kind of confirmation of the credit card will be nice...I want to stick with Apple, but for me to do so here's what I need: - A smarter, more intuitive and forward thinking iOS 8 - A better camera with improved flash - Sapphire screen (Not a fan of screen protectors, also not a fan of scratches on my screen) - Wireless Charging (Probably the feature I want most on the next iPhone) -Better battery life (No real complaints about the battery life of my 5, but improvements can, and should, be made whenever possible) - NFC (I want to link my debit card to my phone for fast payments) - An aluminum back that doesn't scratch up so easily when using the phone without a case (The iPhone 5 is gorgeous and looks/feels best when used without a case. And at least once a day, one of those blissful vacationers leaves their sunnies, their wallet, their credit card or their smart phone on my bar.Only problem (which has never been a problem until now) is that the Paypal card has a limit of $1000 worth of outstanding charges at any one given time. With microsoft bringing xbox live to windows phone 7 series would be nice if apple introduced some kind of universal gamer card system, could include most played music/tv/movies too perhapsSince I started tapping my credit card I thought it was a nice feature but not thread worthy. It only that the issue was ONE of the following: Invalid shipping address Invalid credit card information Duplicate order received The item is no longer available I have a feeling the issue was that we ordered from an AT&T authorized dealer. One time I took my SIM card out in a bad signal area and put it bag in and I had no service for about an hour even when I got back onto the Interstate from a friends house....something weird with Verizon and LTE iPhone's....Kind of but Verizon is not a pure GSM network, it is a hybrid CDMA/LTE network and that makes SIM card switching not as seamless as it is on a pure GSM network.Worst comes to worst, you buy a Verizon off contract from the Apple store, take it home, try it out and find it doesn't work with your SIM card. With the FCC unlocking policy changing effective Feb 2015 (although not retroactive) and the overturning of the insane law that made unlocking phones from outside the provider illegal I would go ahead and get it fully unlocked from one of those websites....Sprint are insane with their strict UICC SIM card being locked to the phone and only allow one unlock per account per year....I mean God knows they need it since their company sucks, I hope this changes because even though I didn't like Sprint's past and current service and deployment plan the new CEO is really changing things up to a more sensible solution.i'm worried about the possibility that maybe my credit card was denied, and i have no ways to know about the situation Bad english skills alert on me!The only issue I've run into is that at some point you really do need to put a SIM card for the dumb phone line into a dumb phone, or else you need to call in once a month to get the data plan removed.****** i highly suggest one card for express check out in app as the system gets really buggy + slow the more clicks you need to do, if any way to use one card i would try.....they state a gift card issued by credit card co but given the wording i would assume that it would be ok for two credit cards i know a lot of online merchants like the top dept stores will only allow one credit card but mutiple store gift cards, you may want to send a quick note under a different email just to confirm as apple is quite strict.... in worse case you could get the gift card from one of the credit cards and that will def work, good luck!If their happened to be a Target you might be in luck, they have some pretty insane surveillance, I saw them pull someones credit card number off a camera that wasn't even zoomed in and it was like crystal clear, Target even has a forensics division...that was back in '07 too....but I'm betting any nice mall should have surveillance cameras. As well: 128 gb option 5 inch screen Thicker, with twice the battery life Other than that, hardware wise, I can't think of anything else that I really really want that apple would ever implement (SD card and removable battery come to mind as nice options, but don't see that ever happening).A few months after having my phone i dropped it and where the sim card would go popped open which was weird and noticed it had a sim card which i am pretty sure it never had another weird thing it was a at&t sim card and my google number was assigned to it which i know i never did.

-Excellent build quality - Consistent battery life - Great performance - Almost flawless stability - Very bright display - Best app quality when compared with Android - Don't have to wait for carriers when system updates release - Excellent audio quality -Touch ID is a blessingMy photo based system is great for organizing into nice little folders (edited). The fit and finish of the first iPhone with its aluminum/metal back and sexy looking operating system and software was and still is second to none. One of the biggest problems in the U.S. criminal justice system is that we don't employ these kinds of punishments ; Americans are way too eager to see everyone do some time thinking that it has some kind of magical rehabilitative effect on criminals, which we know is not true.i know he has the right to buy and return and apple has good return policy but sheeshh...i hate this kind of attitude its kind of abusing the systemI personally like the online reservation system and think that a great way to make it work better for the end user is to require a cellphone account of some kind.I advised the salesperson that having a great system that allows me to communicate while on the road was of utmost importance given how much time I spend on the road.I was happy to pay for full price for an out of contract phone (TMobile) - They never used the reservation system - We were told the store had all skus in stock, and based on our spot in line, we'd get what we want - Our line just stopped moving - Come 1:00 - we heard - second hand - all the 6P inventory was gone - which is difficult to understand because our line did not move.I just think there's something amazing about seeing the world evolve from a place where phones were huge plastic boxes that were attached to the wall with a wire and computers were the whole floor of a city block and only NASA and the IRS had them to today where we're debating whether a SIX OUNCE computer that's about 70mm thick, no bigger than a checkbook, can process MILLIONS of times more data than those old machines, is a still and video camera, a photo editor, a phone, a text messager, a Web browser, a motion sensor, a game system, includes a built in monitor, a rechargable battery that will power it all day and a high definition screen... is too big to fit in our pockets when we bend over to tie our shoes. And the switch to the A7 with phenomenal performance and 64bit architecture (with the A8 instruction set and new GPU), DDR 3 RAM (w/a 4mb 'on die SoC' buffer), fingerprint scan system second to none and a wicked camera (1080p is truly amazing, still capture is definitely a well refined with an awesome and perfect for sensor size 8mp, f2.2 with 10fps full Rez bursts as long as you hold the shutter down), continued progression of their IPS display technology and implementation..the 5s is AS good as ANY of the flagship Android 2014 handsets.*hey let's post about my nice wonderful fast, reliable brand new Nexus 5 smartphone running Google's mobile operating system Android 4.4.2 KitKat...in a thread about iPhone fingerprint sensor* Just seems desperately out of place to me, that's all. With microsoft bringing xbox live to windows phone 7 series would be nice if apple introduced some kind of universal gamer card system, could include most played music/tv/movies too perhapsGood thing I'm an honest kind of guy and didn't take this one, then go in later and do it again since the system would have shown I hadn't picked it up yet.Once the demand is there retailers will flood into the system to appear edgy and the rest will follow to avoid looking antiquated.Best case scenario is that the system is completely secure; worst case is that we're in the same position we've always been in (which I don't see as realistic)I have to hope for the mercy of the prison system in Shanghai to allow poor Sixy to be repatriated back to the good ol' USA...not that she's ever been there, because her inventors prefer to have her and her brethren constructed in countries with lax labor and environmental regulations so that they can take a 70% profit off the top of their devices to sooth the nervous souls of the ever-powerful investors while the people who built her are stymied from their suicide attempts by the nets installed below the roofline of their priso...uh...factory.I had preordered mine and have already received it but if I hadn't been lucky enough to get through the horrid preordering system (Apple & AT&T kept crashing), then I would've lined up Friday morning & would've probably experienced the same disappointment. And yes, Marx's system was most impractical due to human nature, about which he was either naive or over optimistic.****** i highly suggest one card for express check out in app as the system gets really buggy + slow the more clicks you need to do, if any way to use one card i would try.....they state a gift card issued by credit card co but given the wording i would assume that it would be ok for two credit cards i know a lot of online merchants like the top dept stores will only allow one credit card but mutiple store gift cards, you may want to send a quick note under a different email just to confirm as apple is quite strict.... in worse case you could get the gift card from one of the credit cards and that will def work, good luck! What's ironic is that, because of the original iPhone with no 3G, AT&T had to spend months backfitting their system for a higher speed EDGE so the new Apple device wouldn't look pitiful running at 59 Kbps.of the folks going to the Genius Bar have a genuine concern and issue, there are a good number who are trying to cheat the system, make unreasonable demands, feel entitled, or are unreasonably obsessive over the slightest thing Personally, I have a lot of sympathy for anyone in customer service who has to deal with people who are rude, arrogant, entitled, idiots, sneaky and more Customer service of any kind is typically a thankless job with little reward I'm not saying all Geniuses are angels themselves, but I tend to believe much of the vitriol directed at them is unjustifiedI don't like it because is made like any other Samsung phone, with cheap plastic (faux leather with faux stitches, what a tawdry solution ...), bad aesthetics and a bloated software above the operative system.I would never touch a iP4 because the microphone is TERRIBLE and that is the real reason SIRI was never allowed - voice recognition was impossible with such a cheap mic - so if you actually need to be understood when talking to someone you need at least a iP4s, which had a mic system leaps and bounds better and was the first iphone that didn't make you sound like you were being choked underwater to the other party. So apart from trying to complain in Chinese, they receive a TON of shady complaints everyday from shady chinese people trying to game the system. There are lots of AMAZING apps for Android, but it's a system where it's not uncommon for apps to only be really built for a small range of devices.I never publicly posted this trick (worried someone from att would see it and patch the 'mistake' in their system), but I'm glad someone else found this trick to be working too.

With the 5s I used Apple's leather case which I though was the ideal balance of protection vs minimal bulk, and also provided nice grip and style.its ios and a 5.5 screen so i am going to buy but its that damn touch id taking up so much room and apple's design to keep everything symmetrical which i like but damn look at those bezels up top and bottom!!I've been looking all over and can't seem to find a "smart case" (similar to Apple's iPad Mini smart case) for the iPhone 6+.Oh dear, now you got me worried I don't know, but in Apple's website, T-Mobile is listed as "contract-free" and it's the same price as "unlocked" If someone who bought a T-Mobile 5s last year when it launch could chime in, that would be really helpful!Certainly some rumors are partially true in one form or another and Apple's plans may change over time (which can result in then-accurate reports becoming inaccurate), but maybe there's a way to give some kind of % number for each rumor/analyst source that is a representation of its reliability. The funny thing is that its kind of seasonal with Apple's release cycles. As a whole, when you add up all OEM's that use Android and all their issues combined, it is drastically worse then Apple's issues combined(2014 Moto G having terrible memory issue problems that Motorola isn't acknowledging, and so much more)Apple's CPU designs past 2 years in the A8/A7 is absolutely powerful good pieces of engineering and has had the competition extremely hot on it's heels with Apple's chip design prowess, Apple is going the Intel route here, going for stronger single core performance rather then just throwing more cores at it, look who won out that battle (Intel vs AMD) A Intel quad core outperforms and beats a octo core higher clocked AMD CPU, reasons being inferior architecture, worse single core performance etc...throwing more cores at it does not always and usually doesnt translate to linear performance increases in software/hardware worldSpace gray looks great naked, but I put mine in Apple's blue leather case and now the whole ensemble is a boring dark monotone.I seriously think Apple just posts fake stock for bots to try and buy like someone else said.. Because I was waiting for that and I even checked the stock on another device on apple's website a second before I pressed buy and it said available and then after I tried and got the error it immediately switched to unavailable... Like they just post one to trick bots into trying to buy it quickly for someone and it automatically fails on purpose and the stock is gone.. Apple please stop fake stocking your stores(The usb input DAC in the Prius turns out to be abysmally bad though - far worse than Apple's) Still in a world of bluetooth and compressed streaming audio, most are unlikely to notice or care.I read many times over people saying, "Apple's iOS6 is drab, boring and has been the same for so long".Just Apple's miscalculation that people would be so petty, jealous (of Apple's and iPhone's success) and stupid that they would need to over-engineer their stuff.I'm really tired of those obnoxious Apple's fan wannabe.Apple's decision to hold out the extra gig and break their pattern of doubling RAM every 2 years is such petty and pathetic way to save a buck.Glad I didn't cancel my order out of frustration from AT&T as it will likely arrive far sooner than if I had canceled and reordered through Apple.. it's just annoying to know I did my part to get in on the action and will receive it after those who ordered from Apple's app store..... live and learn though.. next time I'll try that (I wanted to go through apple.com but it was a mess). Also got tired of "normal" things just not working -- headphones with remote/mic are quirky at best, nothing like Apple's, and random reboots with KitKat on my S3 and losing reception are pretty annoying. And as dissatisfied as I still am with Siri's limitations, it is dwarfed by how dissatisfied I am with Apple's touch keyboard experience on this tiny screen. If you think Apple's current earning's report is a bad sign, wait till you see the next one... Samsung's Galaxy S5 is going to drop at the worst possible time for Apple.Eight month old iPhone 5 still on iOS 6.x and it is so erratic in how the battery drops in percentage on Apple's own battery meter to be unreliable.I agree, its a bit strange that Apple's launching in International Markets when there is overwhelming demand in the US, not being fulfilled, on time.No worries if you want to clean your phone in a manner against Apple's recommendations, but other folks won't and that doesn't make them lazy or scared.

Ill stay at least until Gingersnap gets hers from apple and she becomes happy again- Update: Tracking number updated and phone is shipping from Fort Worth, TX and its Next day air!I'm just a consumer with my eyes open and realistic expectations who won't be angry when I don't have my phone a week before my shipping window opens.I am excited I ordered a 6+ 64 Gold 9/12 7:50am PST Shipping dates 10/31 - 11/11 Heather, so glad to hear yours is processing too!And yeah, I'll third Rafterman's opinion that I'd be glad to pay a shipping fee to guarantee I don't get the arbitrary deprioritized shipment next time...Kind of exciting knowing a few more of us will have shipping info by the end of the day!8 planes landed this morning to last night....people will get phones with the next 3 days..yet they are impatient...... i got tracking yesterday, and never wavered on cancelling...if they said phones were preordered on 12th and wouldn't ship to next week we wouldn't have any problem waiting, BUT bc others have gotten theres people are flipping out...... Note- i don't have mine yet either, ...i finally got shipping yesterday...i was frustrated too, but i understood, in due time it will work out....I ordered at 3:15 AM, still no shipping confirmation but seeing as how they seem to be moving down a list I am confident I will get one soon enough.I can wait for my phone, after all, they gave us an estimated shipping date, great, awesome, I get that too.Kind of funny that people got up at 3 am to order these 6+ phones not knowing if they had 2 GB RAM and have been anxiously watching for conformation of shipping, etc and now 20 % are ready to return them if they come with 1 GB without even knowing what their performance is.She apologized profusely for me not getting my phone right away, and I kind of hemmed and hawed about them not being able to expedite the shipping without getting mean or being rude (she really was a very nice young lady; I have no idea how she sounded so enthusiastic this early in the morning), and then she finally said "But you know what I could do..." and offered me a free leather case. All of us who got up before 3 am in the eastern time zone, sat around refreshing the web site for over 2 hours, and couldn't go to a carrier site or the app because we are T-Mobile customers, and then finally gave up and went to bed, and then later woke up and found the shipping times were late October, deserve some kind of acknowledgement. For what it's worth, the very kind rep I called on Friday told me that it was too late to upgrade my order to expedited shipping.Happy things are moving, grateful for all these posts that helped me find the shipping information.64GB SG & 64GB GOLD ordered in store 9/22 Shipping window 10/30-11/10 GOLD shipped 11/11 out of Fort Worth no emails received from AT&T only one order traceable online (although both shown) online chat didn't work on Safari phone call at 3pm 11/11 rep says gold shipped SG pending GOLD shipped at 3:45 pm phone call to at&t was only way i can find status of SG phone they said a shipment of SG iPhones is expected from China in 2-3 days that the AT&T website is not perfect is not excusable considering their pocket books BE PATIENT FRIENDS - yours, too, will come no need to get yourselves upset or use unkind language towards hapless dronesIt only that the issue was ONE of the following: Invalid shipping address Invalid credit card information Duplicate order received The item is no longer available I have a feeling the issue was that we ordered from an AT&T authorized dealer.Although, I won't hold my breath considering my shipping window is 11/5-11/14, not to mention I would that they would cover all of the preorders first, but, it AT&T we are dealing with...To make matters worse, I won't find out until they update either the website or send me a text about my order since the 877 number hasn't worked since I've placed the order (although I still try)... Good luck everyone; I am about as impatient as they come, so for those of you waiting from 9/12, I don't know how you have done it without going mad!Hey guys, I have been reading your posts since mid September, and i felt like i have to join you guys because it feels really bad how AT&T is handling the shipping in an upsetting order.Felt with the same ignorant csrs and either received bad information (like the one who told me I'd have the phone long before my shipping window) or no information at all.Yes, no one get too excited about shipping, I received the emails/texts for my gold on the 4th, tracking didn't show up until yesterday, and then the news was only that an electronic shipping label had been created, it finally departed Memphis this morning with an expected delivery of THURSDAY, and I literally live a mere 4 hours from there!!!More than 24 hours to prepare a damn phone for shipping ... this is just insane !I'm really not terribly pleased with how this whole pre-order process has gone (from the late arrival compared to others who ordered after me, to the UPS shipping delays, and finally to the invalid delivery dates I have been quoted from both Apple and UPS).Suddenly the carriers are the uncaring greedy incompetent giants who won't ship what the customer ordered & Apple is the hero shipping sooner than their customers expect.Got an email from AT&T though reviewing my plan and telling me stuff for my account, but who knows....happy for everyone in the group in shipping mode, feel bad for me, hahaStrange how, just by dumb luck, customs is only holding up the phones, by sheer coincidence, that Apple/UPS randomly assigned lesser shipping to.These phones are going to the most fervent Apple customers, and Apple should be aware that UPS is frustrating them with inaccurate shipping status messages and inefficient routings. So I was stuck with AT&T "premier", n I ordered through AT&T that too at 3:40 am est, after a week with horrible customer care experience, way worse than I have ever seen, BTW I live in India n I thought customer care there was bad LOL, now I am not even sure will I receive a phone or not as my shipping date says pending confirmation. She did confirm that reps were sent an email stating they cannot offer expedited shipping on the phone so those of you who got it are lucky but I would not want to risk my order getting canceled just to expedite shipping from China which we all know it takes a few days anyways So while I wasn't happy having to wait October 1-6 because I've always got my orders through and received them on launch day this, is not a dealbreaker for me that I have to wait, it just makes the anticipation far more greater to receive my new phone.I tried my luck and waited for 45 minutes the agent i got was pretty cool but he told there was nothing he can do about it and that all orders are getting expedited, i don't know if its true but he told me that he have received a lot of calls about from people with shipping dates November + including himself; anyway if i can get 6 plus locally at a fair price i might bite and cancel the pre-order, the sad part is my first order got cancel with a "nice" 7-10 days shipping but my new one is 3-4 weeks lol.Third, no stock and slow shipping results in bad publicity and customer complaints - which lead to even more bad publicity.

I wont be buying a smart watch until these 3 things are met: Price no more than $150 Can be used with any smartphone platform Battery should last at least a week without charging I would also be interested in more smart watches like the Samsung s which don't require a smartphone but are cheaper maybe around $250 and last at least a week without charging.Trust me, I had to work for it, I was considering selling the 3G iPhone last week on ebay for few bucks if it was worth that much...until I saw the Best Buy ad, the first day I went there they wouldn't take it, so I reached out @ their social media site and they gave me a $100 GC (being mailed), then I went back the following day back to Best Buy and they finally took my iPhone 3G 8GB and gave me $100 for it and also took my iPhone 5 for $180, I was super happy with it.got the 6 first, absolutely thought Id never get a phone the size of the Plus, was chirping that the 6 is the perfect size and phone, but then I started getting envious of the Plus, then i wanted to switch to the Plus and I did and i love it that much more over the 6 and im beyond happy and satisfied I switched to the Plus Love the screen and battery life tremendously, they are simply incredible on the Plus, also has OIS which is a benefit, its been about a week since I owned the Plus and I am already used to the size(granted I rock it without a case to keep it slim and light, which the thinness and weight makes it alot more tolerable to hold and feels good imo, much better feel and hold and is slimmer in hand then other phablets, I am used to the size alreadyIn less than a week I have an awesome 6+ SG 64G in hand and am happy as can be.Have my skin for phone coming this week I stopped at BB and got a holster with case and a seperate clear rubber case fit the holster perfect too!I called into retentions about a week and a half ago, got the $65 plan and 4GB of data, went great, and just saw my bill today, $70.02 after taxes, not bad at all compared to paying $90 something.I spent a few days last week watching craigslist last week and bought a sealed iPhone 6 Plus 64GB Gray last Friday for $725.00 - Activated, went to Apple store grabbed a leather case and an extra lighting cable for use with an old iPad charger for use as my travel charger (Supposedly it charges faster with the bigger iPad charger) Anyway, if you're tired of waiting or don't want to be stuck in a contract paying way over full price for a phone, this is a great alternative.I'm just a consumer with my eyes open and realistic expectations who won't be angry when I don't have my phone a week before my shipping window opens. My wife's: Nice Name: iPhone 6 Family name: Group1: iPhone Group2: 6 Generation: CPU speed: 1.4GHz Screen size: 4.7 inch Screen resolution: 1334x750 pixels Colour: Gold Production year: 2014 Production week: 36 (September) Model introduced: 2014 Capacity: 16GB Memory - flavour: xx Memory - maximum total: 1GB Factory: DN (China, Chengdu - Foxconn) Mine: Nice Name: iPhone 6 (GSM/North America) Machine Model: iPhone7,2 Family name: A1549 Group1: iPhone Group2: 6 Generation: CPU speed: 1.4GHz Screen size: 4.7 inch Screen resolution: 1334x750 pixels Colour: Space Gray Production year: 2014 Production week: 35 (September) Model introduced: 2014 Capacity: 64GB Memory - flavour: xx Memory - maximum total: 1GB Factory: DN (China, Chengdu - Foxconn)Nice Name: iPhone 6 plus Family name: Group1: iPhone Group2: 6 plus Generation: CPU speed: 1.4GHz Screen size: 5.5 inch Screen resolution: 1920x1080 pixels Colour: Space Gray Production year: 2014 Production week: 39 (October) Model introduced: 2014 Capacity: 16GB Memory - flavour: xx Factory: F2 (China, Zhengzhou - Foxconn) Nice Name: iPhone 6 Family name: Group1: iPhone Group2: 6 Generation: CPU speed: 1.4GHz Screen size: 4.7 inch Screen resolution: 1334x750 pixels Colour: Space Gray Production year: 2014 Production week: 37 (September) Model introduced: 2014 Capacity: 16GB Memory - flavour: xx Memory - maximum total: 1GB Factory: DN (China, Chengdu - Foxconn)It is kind of funny to think of all of us on this forum going nuts, and we will lose interaction with each other in a week or two, but in the meantime, all of our phones are snuggled together on a pallet in a warehouse in Korea...After 1 week of using my 6 Plus, it has been great device and will still be a great device.I will, if lucky might have a new phone in a week plus But...No harm...I have an 5S... but...bad start...Lots of people held mine this week and it was amazing to see their reaction change in front of my eyes from wow that is big, to ... Actually this feels nice in my hand and what a lovely screen.Surely, if its worth standing in line for on the first day of the release its worth coming back a week later to pick up and play with.8 planes landed this morning to last night....people will get phones with the next 3 days..yet they are impatient...... i got tracking yesterday, and never wavered on cancelling...if they said phones were preordered on 12th and wouldn't ship to next week we wouldn't have any problem waiting, BUT bc others have gotten theres people are flipping out...... First, I have been restarting my phone more then 10 times in a week trying to get some weird issues fixed.hey guys ive had my iphone 6 for a week now and i have ios 8.0.2 installed on it, and the battery life is just terrible, i have background app refresh completely off, email push is off and my email account is set to manual instead of fetch, i can't figure out why its so bad, i mean if i dont use the phone then the battery holds up i guess but if i use it to browse facebook or just play a game or whatever it is drainging really quickly.. i also have notifications turned off for nearly every app other than messages and facetime.. i cant figure out whats causing the drainage.. i have my brightness set to 1/4 of the full brightness as well so its not my brightness. Can't decide if this makes me feel better because there is someone worse off than me, or I feel worse because of the potential of another week of processingI will give him the benefit of the doubt as he at least mentions at the end of the article that he's going to give another week to see how it might fit into or not fit into his phone usage patterns. All you've been doing is making very sad posts about the iPhone 6 plus, making it painfully obvious that you are NOT extremely happy with your choice (otherwise why keep going on and on about it for a week).I had 2.3 gingerbread android phone for 18 months and while android itself was fun to use the weak hardware and lack of regular updates let the experience down considerably. So much stuff could be done even without having to root your phone. Then I switched to Lumia 520 and it was a breath of fresh air the simple yet elegant ui is great windows phone 8 is a cool ecosystem.Just this week I bought iPhone 3GS with ios 6 which is a little inferior to iphone 6 i would guess and I like the OS it's smooth and fluid and the phone is also well built although camera quality is not so good but everything else is good.So I like all 3 platforms equally well. The past week has been deeply stressful, frustrating, and taxing for many of your customers, myself included. So I was stuck with AT&T "premier", n I ordered through AT&T that too at 3:40 am est, after a week with horrible customer care experience, way worse than I have ever seen, BTW I live in India n I thought customer care there was bad LOL, now I am not even sure will I receive a phone or not as my shipping date says pending confirmation.I'm used to pre-orders where the production release is 6 months after the product annoucement, and the order window is small so they can build to what the preorder was... Im not saying that necessarily is desirable, but it really would help lessen some of the madness that is this "omg its next week" and the logistics that are involved and the insane it sells out in 1 minute stuff... received both my confirmation of processing and an email for the other reservation from when ATT couldnt verify...If not Im not really worried about it though it is kinda annoying I won't get mad at AT&T until it doesn't show up next week, then ill be mad for a few hours and then just wait the estimated month. This phone is actually the least intrusive the lines have been of all the phones I've received, but it's just strange that my wife's white/gold 5s built week 3 with a DN serial is perfect yet original black from O2 built week 4 with the same DN serial range had awful "scan lines".I've had lots of iPods and an iPad and my phone was this cheap samsung intensity(a sliding phone...DUMB PHONE) then I got a blue 5c just a week or to ago.Mine is a launch 5s and it was working perfectly (with a rare miss here and there, but not a big deal at all, I'd say 98% of the time it was fine)... we flew from RDU out to SJC a couple of weeks ago, and my touch sensor got worse and worse for the week and a half we were there. And the last thing I want is too get a replacement that is worse than my current week 39: -3 flat -2 long edge -2 short edge This is definitely the worse apple issue I have faced throughout the 10 different purchases I've made over the years! My first iPhone 5 had great battery life (didn't get the week build unfortunately) but my current iP5 is week 38 and has terrible battery lifeArrival Scan Looks like my pallet joined up with the security held 7:10 crew and flew off to Korea.. (Would have preferred Osaka vacation for various reasons... but its moving.. but still 25th, so the question is will it remain with the 7:10ers when they depart for the US... while tomorrow is a possibility assuming they pop the next flight out... being on 'expedited' I dont hold much hope... but now Wednesday looks promising, except as I've stated, Wednesday is the 1 bad day this week for me.)
guy
There is another thread on here with a guy who bought an aftermarket silver ring for his home button and his TouchID works perfect and it looks great for those interested...I love my Space Grey iPhone 6...sometimes I miss the Slate Black iPhone 5 color though, I'm sure they could have reformulated the paint to make it more scratch proof but that would've been harder...either way Space Grey looks great.Funny thing is right now I'm watching that at&t commercial with that cute little Lily telling some guy that 'yeah, we have the new iPhone' - I guess she is kept out of the loop or maybe she is just confused because all evidence points to them not having the new iPhoneAfter reading this post, I thought to myself, "If this is the kind of attitude this guy has, he'll have a great experience at the Apple Store".Another funny part was the employee who replaced my phone, very nice guy by the way, analyzed the pants I was wearing and suggested if I had on pants like I was wearing at the time, to try and place my phone on the table when sitting down.sorry Sorry if this is a double post....i know i'm not supposed to laugh and genuinely feel bad for the guy, but this entire series of events is so insane its hard not to laugh. They are scratch resistant, just not scratch proof, I am pretty sure "iom-strengthed glass" is just another name for Gorilla Glass i got my 6 screen covered in Ghost Armor clear screen protector....I love this screen protector, perfect cutouts, perfect size, fits the whole glass display, had a guy at the kiosk did it, no air bubbles at all anywhere, complete clean and clear installation, it is flawless and you cant even tell sometimes that there actually is a screen protector thats how well installed it was(guy at the kiosk did it, put it in a heat box, popped all remaining other air bubbles/pushed them out) I feel very safe and secure with this Ghost Armor protector lol I know it will hold up great and absorb alot of scratches over time instead of my screen Honestly , literally there is not much you can do to protect your screen without a screen protector, a OCD guy like me, where i never keep anything in my pocket with my phone but my phone, where I am always shaking off my pockets to get all lint/sand out before I put my phone in there so nothing can scratch it in my pocket, blowing on my phone sometimes throughout the day to get dust/lint off of it from my pocket, and being very careful where I place my phone (Never in a car cup holder etc) and even doing all this, all my smartphones that I had owned even with care like this, I always still end up finding micro scratches on the screen build up over the months, doesn't affect actual screen display like i dont see rainbow lines or anything like that, but still micro scratches all over the display, it is almost impossible to guard from really with no screen protector you honestly can't do nothing about it and it's not "cheap Apple" , its just not sapphire glass display lol.I was never in to the whole customization scene, as I'm really more of a hardware guy then software guy so the iPhone was a perfect fit.Not defending Apple here however I do find it rather funny in your original thread you were like "omg i just pull phone out my pocket and its bended, i did nothing to cause it to bend/break" yet you end this opening post with "will get applecare+ just incase i drop it again" lol.... original thread ( ) this thread: funny guyThe guy next to me with his sleek, sexy, Gold iPhone 6 made him look even more attractive.I'm happy to be 'that guy' with the camera bag But I love the convenience of the iPhone cam, it's always on me, and that's half the battle of finding / taking great pics - being at the right place at the right time with your camera!Yeah, before the launch everyone was pretty excited and happy and soon as the unbox therapy guy made that bend video everything went to hell in here big time.Guy at work had the regular 6 and I thought it was beautiful and fit nicely in my hand. Then I checked out the 5.5 and thought geez this thing is huge, but after a moment of playing with it it wasn't so bad, however I put my phones in my front pocket (you know being a guy and all) and although I know it would fit in my front pocket it would be very uncomfortable because of how huge it is.It's cute that the OP says that everyone is ignorant, and yet he is the guy saying that these benchmarks prove that RAM doesn't matter. The guy opened it up at such a dumb angle but I understand that he was excited to open it and excited to be on TV.The guy was awesome, very kind.Throughput on my LAN isn't terrible though: PS Before some wise guy comments on the Win7 VM and my ' ' ecosystem--I have to have Windows for certain automotive software I use.But ultimately the third guy I talked to was so nice and reasonable saying that "yeah I know we used to be able to do this, I would love to be able to help you but we can't, even if you speak to a manager they can't do it so yeah Im sorry I know you used to be able to do it but they changed the rules and its strict now..." No offense but I hope I never have to encounter you in a retail situation in my entire life lol.The guy at verizon a few days ago said that during week days I probably don't need an appointment...so I just walked in and the nice apple guy helped me out by checking me in and within 10 minutes another great guy came over to help me!Ok that is probably too harsh, but I'm frustrated as we'd like to get this guy his phone back but now are having to call police dispatch to have them come get it and now it will just disappear into the abyss of lost phones. At this point though I know I'm a Nexus guy so being they are off-contract cheap, I'm not too worried or concerned. You deserve perfect cuz you paid for perfect , your not the bad guy cuz you demand your phone work , that's called taking a stand and not letting subpar quality control affect you because it shouldn't affect one of us , we as consumers should stick together on something like this and give each other the knowledge to get the job done , not doubt and call names like children Than why after 3 white box replacements through the mail with the same manager on the case did I get upgraded to a 5s white 16 gig , I'm begging people to not make statements that aren't true , if you suffer through 3 defective iphone 5 they will upgrade you to a 5s because after 3 refurbs they must give you a new device and they don't make new 5 anymore they only have refurb white box , I video tapped all 3 of my white box unboxings right from the signing to the opening and they all had scratched screens or something else and I had the proof , not only did I get upgraded I received a call from Erik from corporate who was stunned with what I went through and sent me a 32 gig iPod touch , just please stop assuming people are trying to commit fraud because we aren't , we are simply here trying to help each other get on the right path to enjoying their devices and if sharing my story and the email address of the managers that helped me gets something done for someone else and helps out one more lost person going through what I did that makes me feel great , we should all recieve perfect devices the first time and that don't happen but we have rights and should use themGlad to hear that you are okay, like what the other guy said this kind of situation can certainly get a lot more uglier than this.so I called I got everything I have, they took the access fee off, the 911 fee off and I kept the: 6 gig 30 27 for my phone 200 minutes unlimited incoming and after 6 2500 txt caller id visual voicemail and txt who called for 75 plus tax I didn't want to push my luck with the guy he was very nice to me as I was nice to himGood thing I'm an honest kind of guy and didn't take this one, then go in later and do it again since the system would have shown I hadn't picked it up yet.My mom had her iPad stolen once, I activated Find my iPhone on it prior but it did practically nothing...the guy that "found it" (he's got a record so I was weary) erased the whole thing....was sketchy overall and kind of pissed me off but oh well.Damn, sorry *Mods please delete this thread if you get a chance I'll take your word for it...but to play devils advocate, one could argue that the softer aluminum when hit very hard creates a sharp internal edge which could puncture the softer Li-Ion battery that apple uses where as cheap quality plastic phones with removable backplates tend to have hard plastic battery housings....I I think in this case it doesn't matter what phone the guy had, same result would have happened due to the force upon impact resulting in what you described. But keep standing up for the little guy against the big bad corporation even though you have a complete absence of proof of the cause of their terrible wounds.Reading through here I concluded that the spazm guy you were talking with is either super weird or really rude or most likely both. The guy I spoke to was excellent, very friendly, said we're not that sort of company to refuse and leave you with a very expensive product you're not happy, let me just get my manager.Nothing I hate worse than people typing LOL when they not funny..I picture a lonely guy behind a keyboard giggling to himself..If a tired overworked angry UPS man that looks like this guy shows up, ya know what, I'm not answering the doorAs for the article, what a pathetic empty life that guy has if a phone is leaving him feeling miserable.I was actually hesitant after the first review came out (back when the shells were released) where a guy had said the 6+ was obnoxious to use and just "too big" but then when the cut outs popped up here on MacRumors, I printed them out and found the 6+ size seemed perfectly fine to me.One older guy made a comment that was hilarious, "oh no, I'm getting my wife the big one so the angry birds aren't blurry."Ok... People on forums get mad when someone starts a new thread about things that have already been asked, then this guy does what everybody says you "should" do and searches and finds someone who had the same issue and brings back up an old thread and you get mad about that... WTF.He's a nice guy so I don't pick on him about it, but he's also smart enough to use a solid black bumper for this phone.
friday morning
email
now i have to tap the screen to see if i missed something like one of those rude and annoying teens that cannot hold a conversation at a restaurant table and i hate myself for it lol i used to see "green" ah okay its a whatsapp text, ill answer it after dinner or white oh its an email from uni i better check that.I was excited to see mine said "Shipped" and then saw everyone getting the 24th, so it was kind of a let down when my email just showed up saying the 29th >.< Oh well. Now I kind of figure that despite getting an order through less than 25 mins after the pre-order was SUPPOSED to start(no matter that some were able to get through early, most of us were refreshing early like you, so please don't act like you had one over on us), since I haven't even gotten the "you're screwed we have no idea when you will get a phone" email, there is no end in sight.email around 4am, and then a "real" confirmation email at like 10am "Dear Paul, Great news!I'm kind of in that boat -- I do a lot of email and remote IT work, and a larger canvas, while still pocketable, is a great advantage.Where: AT&T.com iP6 Space Grey 64gb 9/19 My Order Status Email: Dear Jay, Great news!I'd love to see like the post above some form of waterproofing so that I'm not afraid to use my iPhone in the rain also and I've sent this suggestion to apple, a small translucent ring around the home button that has a pulsating ring of light for missed calls, messages, email etc if not then a led somewhere for the same purpose, a smart wifi option so it switches off once you leave your home wifi and will come back on once your home or it can remember where other wifi locations are and switch back on once you get to that area. You agree not to misuse the Service or Device, including but not limited to: (a) reselling or rebilling our Service; Im not saying that necessarily is desirable, but it really would help lessen some of the madness that is this "omg its next week" and the logistics that are involved and the insane it sells out in 1 minute stuff... received both my confirmation of processing and an email for the other reservation from when ATT couldnt verify...****** i highly suggest one card for express check out in app as the system gets really buggy + slow the more clicks you need to do, if any way to use one card i would try.....they state a gift card issued by credit card co but given the wording i would assume that it would be ok for two credit cards i know a lot of online merchants like the top dept stores will only allow one credit card but mutiple store gift cards, you may want to send a quick note under a different email just to confirm as apple is quite strict.... in worse case you could get the gift card from one of the credit cards and that will def work, good luck!My life's pretty boring so if someone wants to scope that I got another junk email about a pipe fitting catalog I'm just not too upset about that.My phone is a 3G not the 3gS Ability to transfer data via bluetooth (admittedly, i don't use bluetooth that often but it would be nice to have the ability to do so) 5 items on the dock instead of 4 (i had my phone jailbroken for awhile -not anymore- and really loved that option) Ability to open .ICS events natively especially when I'm traveling and my phone is the only option for email checking (i do not have an exchange account or mobileme) Flash (yeah, i know, extremely unrealistic given Jobs' comments about Flash not terribly long ago) An earlier post mentioned a drop-down on the home screen for wi-fi options, i.e, the same function available on the Mac desktop.
couple days
i am 6'5 and i too have tried the samsung note 2 with the bigger screen and for the first couple of days it was weird but after that i was use to the size and feel i do agree that would be ideal for them to release 2 differnt size screens but i do not think i would want a screen size as big as the note as it makes it very uncomfortable in the pantsIt is a great phone but after a couple of days I could not use it anymore because of a strange reason: pain in my eyes after max.If you take into account that there are some fake answers on one end; also take into account that there are fake answers on the other side - Second, I don't think the problem is "the phone will bend in your pocket in your first couple of days of use", but "the phone will eventually bend in your pocket".Those complaining about horrible battery life need to wait a couple days, especially if you see the message that its still restoring Those claiming the have super duper awesome battery life are either not using their phone or are FOS.The bad thing is I've been sick for a couple days and have been napping on my couch, but since I can see the road and parking areas right in front of my living room windows, every time I start to doze I hear something and am gawking out the window thus thoroughly destroying my nap, which is making me feel worse from my sickies.I have a family member wanting a 5c/s and I have seen a few on craigslist the past couple days for $300-325 and I am assuming they have a bad esn, I remember reading that the iphone 5 on verizon would work on att/tmobile but wasnt sure if it would if it had a bad esn for Verizon

Found (not so bad, but still shady) On drugs (confused, so possible, but still bad person) Habitual liar. It's really nice to meet a fellow intelligent person! It's nice to find an intelligent person on the internet, someone who doesn't think 'a-priori' is the french word for dead flower petals in a bag.Rather than call the person pathetic, why don't you take a step back and analyze the situation as this poster did: So maybe he "sucks" if he fixes it and he has to live the rest of his life knowing that you think he's pathetic, but at least his wallet will come out ahead.Like I tell people, it's great if you're a tinkerer and the kind of person who wants to spend hours customizing every little thing about the phone. It's still bad, but not as bad as before i saw it in person.A coworker brought his iPhone 6 to me yesterday to look at so I saw it in person and it was gorgeous, the icons really popped on screen almost looked like they were 3D or something it looked really amazing! Some lucky enough to witness one in person are amazed and mesmerized, others scream in horror at the size of it and run away.Glad it worked out for you - and now you have an entertaining story to boot (though it would be even better if the first person to get it had opened it and it fell flat on the ground in front of a TV camera. That's my honest answer as an honest person...And, as an honest person giving an honest answer, the iPhone 4 and 5 are too small, not for one handed use, obviously, but that screen size is too small for what I want to do.I thought Steve was great, just way too nice to put up with the bull from the person taping.totally agree...so different in person + a perfect shade of champagne so happy it finally came!If you're the kind of person who is purchasing an iPhone 5c because its free when the iPhone 5s is $99 and iPhone 6 $199, then you're probably the kind of person who doesn't care about specs or its a phone for a teenager. When I first saw the 5S online I thought it was ugly but once I saw them in person I thought they were gorgeous. If anything a rational mature person would actually understand that they have been lucky getting extra courtesies extended to them and would expect them to actually stop sooner than later since they already got them, and apparently more than even one or two.Ehem, you forgot something: "I'd also like to thank my lovely wife for putting up with me while I obsessively research for weeks on end, and for being the coolest, most awesome person ever.Choice is great and every single person I know who owns the phone has been extremely happy with it.I am a rather happy go lucky person, I dont urgue back my parent, keeping it to myself. When I see an iPhone consumer, I know I'm looking at someone with great taste, who demands the best products, and a person who appreciates the coupling of great hardware and software to deliver the most incredible experiences. You deserve perfect cuz you paid for perfect , your not the bad guy cuz you demand your phone work , that's called taking a stand and not letting subpar quality control affect you because it shouldn't affect one of us , we as consumers should stick together on something like this and give each other the knowledge to get the job done , not doubt and call names like children Than why after 3 white box replacements through the mail with the same manager on the case did I get upgraded to a 5s white 16 gig , I'm begging people to not make statements that aren't true , if you suffer through 3 defective iphone 5 they will upgrade you to a 5s because after 3 refurbs they must give you a new device and they don't make new 5 anymore they only have refurb white box , I video tapped all 3 of my white box unboxings right from the signing to the opening and they all had scratched screens or something else and I had the proof , not only did I get upgraded I received a call from Erik from corporate who was stunned with what I went through and sent me a 32 gig iPod touch , just please stop assuming people are trying to commit fraud because we aren't , we are simply here trying to help each other get on the right path to enjoying their devices and if sharing my story and the email address of the managers that helped me gets something done for someone else and helps out one more lost person going through what I did that makes me feel great , we should all recieve perfect devices the first time and that don't happen but we have rights and should use themNever judge a person unless you know 100% the situation and also never judge unless you yourself are a perfect human being and my friend nobody is perfect !It's great there are so many happy 5c owners and I like how a lot of people (like me) had every intention of buying the S until they saw / held the C in person and changed their mind! You can be nice about it and be excited like I am or you can just be an angry little person no one wants to be around.Either your device is defective or something, mine truly does run buttery smooth with Reduce Transparency on And alot of people also report they too have buttery smooth 6 pluses, stop trying to grasp at straws and claim that since one person on a forums on the internet has the issue, then all the sudden everyone has it because that is beyond from the truth Every phone has downsides, but the 6 Plus is currently the fastest phablet and smartphone really on the marke at this moment with the 6, the Snapdragon 805 is inferior to the Apple A8My 6 Plus has been absolutely amazing and I have absolutely no lag or stutter at all on my 6 Plus, your 6 Plus seems to be defective, Sounds like you might not even have a 6 Plus, why would you spend all that money when a ton of your "problems" is something you could of always seen in person hands on with the device or so (surely you tried the device out before forking over money) And Siri has been working for me 90% of the time and is light years better then what it has been, that seems to be a connection issue on your part with Siri having a response like thatYou either have the worst luck, are the clumsiest person or are the most careless person.Either wanting the nudes for revenge (that makes you a HORRIBLE Person) Stolen (still a bad person!)You're either the most unfortunate and unlucky person in the world (I'd have become suicidal with that much bad luck.)Damn you are one annoying person. The feature is invisible when turned off I posit that only slow, uncritical, unreasonable, or irrational person could have a problem with this.Right, a person being dim makes them dim.I'm a sad panda too (ugly cry face) I'm a 4s person...Also, the design isn't that great in person - I was going to preorder but decided to hold off till I saw it in store and it didn't feel that great. But the thing that you seem to have missed (since 1994) isnt that you are stopping discussions with "truth" you are stopping discussions because you annoy people with such irrational thinking that they dont bother trying to reason with an unreasonable person. At the bar, I pretty much decided not to use my phone, because I was too nervous that some drunk person would decide to pick it up.To believe that sapphire is less than ideal simply because traditionally used sapphire as we know it and as it's used today is less than ideal, is to not understand Apple as a company, I think, and how they've completely changed how things are done and what is(n't) possible from manufacturing and engineering standpoint Picking nits now: While that's indeed true, I also know that even though I'm from the south, saying, "God bless her, but..." doesn't excuse or sterilize any nasty thing I say about a person thereafter. They bothered me before I received the 6plus but in person it doesn't look bad to me and the gold is so beautiful that I don't notice the lines anymore.if a person really bent their phone (whether it be reckless care on their part or through normal use) you can damn well believe they will complain to Apple.Sounds to me that it was less of "best buy is being evil" and more "the manager that you were dealing was being a bit of dick" As a person who works in best buy mobile, I can tell that that is 100% false. You seem like a lovely, intelligent person but in this case I hope you are an idiot with no idea what you're talking aboutI also checked it out in person at the Apple Store and it is too small for PDF reading but too large for anything else (my opinion), making it a bad tablet and a bad phone.Anyway, I was a bit miffed about the design of the new iPhone, the fact it retained such large bezels, the ugly bands on the back (which aren't nearly as bad in person thankfully), but I wasn't miffed enough to mention that on its own.News flash, what's great for one person may not be great for another.Rumor has it that every single person that tried to leak the Apple Watch went mad and ended up tearing up the sapphire glass in order to find the source of the beating of that hideous heart.Instead I get a sad reply of an immature (insert random age) person who believes I could give a damn on what type of phone he decided to buy.I'm annoyed, so I call the customer service number from the website, and I tell the person that I wasn't happy with the service I received in the apple store, they ask for which store, and when I tell them, they're like "okay, I'll connect you to the store manager" and before I can say anything, they transfer. This person has gone through a really bad identity theft scenario and I feel like this person is a bit paranoid. So, yes, my usage data is sent to them automatically (I want this resolved as much as anybody--I'm tired of having to go to the Apple store, I'm tired of setting up phone after phone after phone, and I'm tired of explaining everything to each person I speak with at Apple in CA).IDK why it sounded horrible I have a sprint iPhone 5 and whether he or not it sounds great either way I mean really if I can clearly understand the other person on the other side what does it matter !They said this is a replacement driver and every angry apple person is calling up mad.I stopped by my local wegmans last night at 9:45 and there was one lone person sitting in line at the AT&T store here... That makes panda sad.

In my opinion, I think both AT&T and Verizon are greedy but AT&T seems a little more greedier (they throttle unlimited plans, they have a significantly higher price for the note 4, and their single plans are more expensive even with the promo) With that being said, Verizon's customer service has been a nightmare, so to anyone that's happy with AT&T's customer service, I would not recommend them to switch. However, it's ignorant to just brush off this as the fault of the customer when I've read many people who take great care of their phones that had it bend.I spoke to a really nice individual who was more than happy to help me out and not lose me as a customer.Unl data promotion is only if you are leaving Sprint, ATT or Verizon, but $25 gift is for all newbies to Simple Choice.. Tmo customer service can be confusing but the referral program is a great bonus for both old and new customers.I also purchased a basic phone as a second line.... ATT customer service was worthless...they didn't know what they were talking about and was always getting the run around..ontop of that the LG basic phone I ordered was in stock but they never shipped it to me and its always says backordered.....I've purchased iPhones for as long as they've been out there, sung the praises of Apple to the mountaintops, and slowly filled my home with Macbook, iMac, multiple iPads and iPods, not to mention spent $1000s in music in iTunes...and there's the rub, it's because I've been such a loyal customer, accustomed to wonderful and rapid service, that this botched rollout has raised my ire, this is not what I'm accustomed to with Apple, and galling is a great description of my feelings at present.Apple has great customer service and people seem to be incapable of understanding that you will get better service being nice and honest.I guess my point is: it sucks if you've had a bad experience, but for the overwhelming majority, customer service/support is a very large reason why Apple retains so many customers. As a customer I'm like .. this is really funny As a shareholder I'm like .. oh dearVery happy with the 64GB 6 I got except Wish I got the 128GB due to lack of space for my photos hopefully iCloud Photo Library will fix this when it launches properly other wise very happy customer with the bigger screen better for web browsing and messagingIf I'm lucky, maybe a customer will come to my desk and return a perfectly flawless iPhone 6 in favor of a different model, so I can buy it and upgrade stress-free.Ahh, so happy Apple has such great customer service.I've never heard of a company being so unconcerned and impervious to customer service.Faster delivery, amazing customer service, trustworthyYou got lucky Great customer service to still take care of you even after the warranty coverage expired. Also T-Mobile have great customer service, perhaps because they have something to prove, regardless I always liked that, people around here associate T-Mobile with people who are less well off financially (its arrogant but thats the type in my area) but from all accounts T-Mobile customers are pretty happy as of lately and it seams everytime I blink they get better and better. They have great customer service and always have great reception in the Phoenix area.I was on the T-Mobile family plan for almost 6 months, and while the price is great, customer service is great, the actual service is just ok. Too much switching of LTE to 4G in the same spot killing my battery, loss of signal even though i have 3-4 bars, and not having any of these issues on AT&T prepaid, I made the switch back as of today. And if you aren't happy with any of their repairs or service just let them know there customer service is great at making things right. It's sad but not a lot of companies would sit and hand a customer $2400 worth of product to satisfy their complaint, no matter how wrong they were.I also ported my number successfully, their customer service is great and you always get some sexy British representative in seconds as its a British company.Very happy with AT&T customer service (always had great experiences with them)!Christopher: okay great Christopher: Hope you're having a great night at work Alfonso: I am and I will have a greater night if I will be able to make you a happy customer this evening.Yeah I thought about that but I've been with Virgin for 5-6 years now and always had great customer service and I really like their plan (they have great ones for students).I'm not eligible for an upgrade at new customer pricing so any promotion Rogers does (unless it is amazing) won't be worth it when I can get an unlocked one for a couple hundred dollars more.People rag on Apple, some issues to be sure but great customer service is worth a lot.You seem like the questionable one here, siding with a company known for horrible customer service and wanting to get users off grand fathered unlimited plans at all costs.I did not realize that Sprint had such a terrible customer service... it's really puzzling since they are not even in a dominant position compared to say Verizon or AT&T, so one would think that they would be trying to provide better service, rather than the worst.People get replacement for tiny bending (wobbles) when it's obvious not a customer fault, but in your case it looks like some excessive force could have been applied, so bad luck.If they end it now, it would mean they held you under false promise and made you miss out on Sprint deal, and that **** is illegal (holding a customer off based on false statements).I found Verizon to be one of the worst services I've used (more so than T-Mo), from dropped calls and some of the worst customer service I've experienced. To say that the customer should just "know" that the iPhone 6 is more damage prone than the 5/5S is unreasonable and absurd.Frustrated and angry at this incredibly poor customer service from UPS....will never do business with them again. Also while you do make a point, if you take one defective phone off the table, replace it with another, then another rude customer will come and bend that one.Suddenly the carriers are the uncaring greedy incompetent giants who won't ship what the customer ordered & Apple is the hero shipping sooner than their customers expect. This one doesn't have a fault either......it's just pathetic Internet trolling that a very very few minority of people have suffered, in which most of them will have suffered due to misuse......it's as simple as that......and if you haven't bought one yet, then simply don't buy one if you're that worried......I have bought one, I'm treating it like the respect it deserves for being such an expensive device......if you can't handle such a big phone in your lifestyle, don't buy it, simple as that......I guarantee they will still sell more phones than anyone else this year, and I know it's not about sales, it's about customer satisfaction......and as i said, a few moaning idiots on here doesn't show the majority vote here......people who have no issues will not bother coming here, they will simply be enjoying their device and getting on with their lives.....something I wish all the moaners would do instead of just crying about issues that don't exist if you treat things properly. The Customer service rep was rude and acted like i was dumb and seriously used "lol" in the chat.... And every time I have a question they NEVER answer my question they use a damn script.VZW: Pro's: VoLTE Better LTE coverage Con's: Horrible International Rates/Plans VoLTE speeds seem to be slower than 3G for many (still early though) Terrible Customer Service Tons of "extra's" popping up AT&T: Pro's: GSM Voice+Data - 4G, not LTE, but seems faster than VZW's VoLTE Best International Plans Con's: Abysmal LTE coverage I've found both carriers to be fairly equal with dropped calls, my concerns are international rates, VoLTE on VZW, AT&T's LTE commitment.Ranting on twitter about the HORRIBLE UNACCEPTABLE customer service I have received with no resolution to my issue in sight, an AT&T rep responded and asked for my account details. So my house has been notorious for having bad reception (Verizon customer).Third, no stock and slow shipping results in bad publicity and customer complaints - which lead to even more bad publicity. They have great coverage but boy is there customer service freakin horrible. They have bad customer service, expensive tariffs and are just a bit awful. They're website seems absurd to pick a decent plan from and if they're wireless customer service is anything like their internet service, I don't think I'll be happy with them.I'm annoyed, so I call the customer service number from the website, and I tell the person that I wasn't happy with the service I received in the apple store, they ask for which store, and when I tell them, they're like "okay, I'll connect you to the store manager" and before I can say anything, they transfer.I saw really no difference in the 2 services tho I was worried when I would travel or go places because when you visit Tmobile they mention all the places it doesn't work that I never experienced when I was with verizon(awful awful customer service) or AT&T(ask to speak to a manager and you will get 2-4 free months of service).of the folks going to the Genius Bar have a genuine concern and issue, there are a good number who are trying to cheat the system, make unreasonable demands, feel entitled, or are unreasonably obsessive over the slightest thing Personally, I have a lot of sympathy for anyone in customer service who has to deal with people who are rude, arrogant, entitled, idiots, sneaky and more Customer service of any kind is typically a thankless job with little reward I'm not saying all Geniuses are angels themselves, but I tend to believe much of the vitriol directed at them is unjustifiedMost stores here in Canada have bad customer service these days or horrible pre sale assistance.I had been on AT&T since 2010 and just moved to T-Mobile, as mentioned above, love the unlimited data not to mention the talk and text, my plan on AT&T used to be 450m/1000text/2gb data for a monthly charge of $75+tax and now I have unlimited data/talk/text for $30+tax (add on in a family plan) , its awesome , however the service in my home sometimes drops , when I called Customer Service I was told New Tower installation is imminent. It can be very frustrating, and usually the companies doing this have very lousy customer service if you ever do have a problem. After 2.5GB, they will throttle you to less than 1 Mbps which is awful and visual voicemail may or may not work and their customer service are worst.75% of 300 million = 225 million 25% of 300 million = 75 million But yes, T-Mobile would be a bad choice for any customer if the coverage is bad.Alot of people have had there iPhones replaced for minor scuffing, apple don't care they will replace it for CUSTOMER satisfaction, please remember that the lowest model of the iPhone 5 costs 529 pounds and costs 140 pounds to produce, please don't comment if you're going to troll because you are a 'perfect human being' NO ONES PERFECT, take your music buying skills somewhere else, cause tbh no one cares.Rogers really is terrible and their customer service is just as bad.
