Maybe I'm being a bit cynical but it feels a bit like a ploy for you to lose track of time while browsing the store or possibly fit more (paid) apps on the page. After completely moving away from my 5S fully, I could not see the point in going with anything smaller as it has worked out well for me at the Gym, In the car and overall in the pocket, so far it has fit very well into my dress pants, shorts and track pant pockets.3) Health This is a nice thing about the new iPhone is it keeps track of steps and distance walked on its own, which is kinda nice how you dont have to install a specific app for it.I'm not worried about it not showing up on the 21st but like others have stated, it is frustrating to not be able to track and follow the location of my iPhone when almost everyone else is able to.I got my letter from Apple that "my items should ship between oct 20-27" That is right on track for my delivery estimate of Oct28-Nov4 Unlocked sg+128 9/29 Apple is dumb for making only one black front faced phone and two white............ most of us use cases and you never see the gold..sg..silver... but you see the front and most people want black except for girls and impatient people because its the only phone that might be in stock near you... rant over...It's funny - I have come to know Apple as a tech company with a good track record on many issues, but the one thing where Apple is not just good, great or amazing but absolutely perfect is getting things delivered to customers on the launch date. And damn, if you have a 12 track album only taking up 60MB, I feel so bad for you for the poor quality it must be in.

info
Also, these kind of people probably are more likely the kind of people who pay attention to how secure a payment method is... and they aren't going to like that it wants bank account info. It's always worth asking around to see how a carrier performs in your area, and likewise it's well worth keeping an eye on other carriers' plans--even if you just use that info for leverage when talking to your own carrier's retentions department.God it even feels absurd typing that, can't believe the reps spew this kind of info.Kind of exciting knowing a few more of us will have shipping info by the end of the day!I agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GBA little more info in the thread title would be nice Virgin Mobile is great though if you have Sprint LTE in your area. You will need to open your iPhone 5s to be able to view the volume button contacts, and slide something (I used a tiny piece of paper ) inside the gap that makes your volume keys jiggle.... You will need a pentalobular screwdriver (the one that was required to open the iPhone 5) and a suction cup (the kind that you stick on windows and mirror)... just follow the couple of steps on iFixIt website: It worked for me... you must not be scared of opening your iPhone, and be careful enough not to break any connection wires under the screen (read the above iFixIt link for more info) Unfortunately, if it's the power button you want to fix, you wont be able to do it my way My power button jiggles a tiny bit, but it's hardly noticeable... when the iphone was opened I noticed there was no way to properly see the button and gain access to itIts funny (and sad) how Google has no mapping info on NK, its just an empty, white space.By all the fairly credible info I have, the next model will be quite impressive. But seriously, Rogers needs to get moving with the info, maybe they are planning some super amazing upgrade deal for everyone. While contradictory info is certainly frustrating, seriously this is a pretty minor issue in the grand scheme of things.Same here no phone same to confirmation number 197 all the info I get is back ordered Yes mine says the same this is insane the worst experience everMeanwhile, Apple deliberately make things confusing on their LTE info page, listing only the US models as LTE compatible with US carriers, a claim that appears to be misleading and false. Here are the datails direct from the ibackupbot Programm Battery CycleCount: 231 DesignCapacity: 1420 FullChargeCapacity: 1258 Status: Success BatteryCurrentCapacity: 78 BatteryIsCharging: false ExternalChargeCapable: false ExternalConnected: false FullyCharged: false GasGaugeCapability: true My Phone info iPhone 5 64GB iOS 7.1.2 Please I really have to know it!Paranoid UPS will pull their typical lazy shizzat where they pre-fill out the "sorry we missed you" info notice that they slap on the garage door, rather than ascending the 14 steps to my front door to you know...I am envious of those with that info and I am starting to get worried.

I agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GBThe best people mix and match to get the perfect fit.EDIT: Helvetica Neue Bold (size: 25) is a perfect match!

tv
Got to say that I have been using Apple products since 1984 and have not gotten bad product yet, I have had a LOT of Apple products, just about every computer every iPhone every Apple TV, I have been luckyGlad it worked out for you - and now you have an entertaining story to boot (though it would be even better if the first person to get it had opened it and it fell flat on the ground in front of a TV camera. The guy opened it up at such a dumb angle but I understand that he was excited to open it and excited to be on TV.smart rings for TV control, flexible displays, etc.)It came in handy when people lost their remotes, and it worked great on my TV too.Even the f/2 aperture for camera shots is really great quality for a phone camera, and looks great air played on my TV.That is a great and useful addition to the app but I want send media that is on my iPhone to those DLNA devices (Smart TV & WDTV).2 Mac Minis MacBook Pro 13 2011 2 Apple TV Airport Basestation Extreme Airport express iPad 2 iPad mini iPad Air 2 iPhone 5 (one for me, one for wife) Bluetooth keyboards Magic Trackpads Magic Mouse USB keyboard Numerous chargers, cables, Cool starry bras.iPod Shuffle 2011 Silver - handy for travelling and the gym Apple TV 3 - The magic hockey puck.A good analogy would be like if you bought the newest and greatest LED TV with the highest number of pixels possible, but the majority of the shows you were able to watch were in SD and just stretched to fit the dimensions of your TV.it's a wonderful piece of software if you want to dictate, send a message, read a text message or copy cute little commercials you see on tv.It's really annoying having such a great camera, but having to crop EVERY photo so it can be shown full screen on my TV.I know my router isn't that great and in the one area of my house I spend the most time after work (by the TV) the signal isn't stellar.Abuse of the devices only happens with bad parents that are to lazy to interact and monitor the child, as with the Internet, TV and gaming consoles.
sense
Emotionally, it may make sense, but financially its a terrible terrible decision for a depreciating discretionary item.Makes sense but damn that is sad to hear :cry:I'm more than happy to keep this little nifty for another 2 years then upgrade to whatever is making sense at that time. But contrary to what the shift lead told me, I'm still kind of buying his switcharoo "hassle" process because it makes sense to me (at least for right now).doesn't make sense to have that kind of bend on a large device, unless you are wearing a 50inch tight jeans that can fit an iphone6+ horizontally.Never had a bad experience but I use common sense and am not paranoid.I think that using sapphire glass is a brilliant idea, making the screen so that it doesn't scratch is great business sense for Apple, they make a phone where you don't need a screen protector and they can bump up the price to compensate. The apps are great, and when you have other Apple products it just makes sense to have an iPhone, they play great together!Nice, totally makes perfect sense.A std 4" and a 4.7; no sense in annoying the faithful when you can make both camps happy.I would think having a 128GB phone and only needing less than 16GB would be more of a reason to be ashamed... And even then, doesn't make sense to be ashamed.I simply asked a question and now I'm getting **** on for doing so for one I'm not a troll and my canadian sense of humor is just fine, this is the worst forum I've ever been on just awful mean ppl on here now a days!!!!!They looked weird in the leak images of backs with no front attached but make perfect sense in the context of a complete iPhone. It makes no sense to attach "gate" to any word to automatically infer that it means a scandal, and this whole thing can get rather annoying and tiresome.Example: Angry Birds 2009 - 18mb file size Angry Birds 2014 on a larger screen iPhone 6 - 72mb 3.2mp camera 0.4~mb VGA video 1 minute 33mb 8.0mp camera 1.7~mb 1080 video 1 minute 142mb I hope my question made sense..It makes total sense for Apple to respond to this market, and it's the perfect timing since Samsung isn't enjoying the great success as it used to.For that, I am VERY disappointed in Apple that they would spend so much time on fit and finish yet overlook something like this - it just doesn't make sense...
sites
I went into settings, safari (my phone browser), selected advanced, then website data, then remove all website data (at the bottom) and the discs went away, I don't think I lost any of my saved passwords or anything that I wanted to keep probably just cached pages to help sites load faster, but the discs annoyed me so I was happy they went away.Calls sound great, iOS 8 seems to work fantastically, browses great, and the regular web sites look good (after a simple pull down on the web page to load them...thanks iOS8) on this size phone.Calls sound great, iOS 8 seems to work fantastically (outside of some skins of apps not loading all the time), browses great, and the regular web sites look good (after a simple pull down on the web page to load them...thanks iOS8) on this size phone.Calls sound great, iOS 8 seems to work fantastically (outside of some skins of apps not loading all the time), browses great, and the regular web sites look good (after a simple pull down on the web page to load them...thanks iOS8) on this size phone.Refreshing causes a great deal of problems on the sites I frequent.multiple browsers will not help, your iPhone + iPad will help more, no matter what the sites all get slammed i'm so excited, my favorite part is tracking the phone, i still have links to all the air traffic controlers!!That was extremely handy at the time because I was using a 1995 Performa 6116 to log on to the internet & it was so brutally slow it took like three days for MaBell & similar sites to load, so I was glad to be able to pay all bills straight from PP's site. While cosmetically the refurb looks great unfortunately there seems to be many stories on different sites about less then acceptable performance from some of these returbs It's understandable as these refurbs cAn only be checked out to a certain degreeI find this annoying but even worse on my iPad which so many sites automatically load as mobile site.>> oh never mind.. more and more people are moving to mobile site.. so one doesn't have to worry.. << On almost all "mobile" sites, the text size assumes perfect vision and, for me, even with reading glasses, the text size on almost all mobile sites is too small to read without zooming... so, even on the mobile sites, you are faced with the need to scroll each line of text.watch out for "iPhone for life" if you terminate your agreement you must pay ALL future device payments and then you have to either hand them your phone or you have to take their purchase option so for example if i lease an iPhone 6 64 gb for $25 a month and i have 21 months left, i have to surrender my iPhone PLUS pay them $525 i guess the purchase option would be another $224 i am sick of people calling this deal a rental going around and making sure all the various news sites telling you how bad the iPhone 4 life program is almost as futile of trying to destroy every last copy of Star Wars the Holiday Special if i pay the future device payments plus take the purchase option, i bet i still won't get an unlockHaving a cheapo basic (non-internet) throw-away is cheap & can send text msg on it, too, if desperate (extra 10-25-cents or whatever), & it provides an extra ph # for sites & places that require a ph # but you don't want to give them your main/primary iphone #.T-Mobile will still be stuck with abysmal EDGE because they're too cheap to upgrade all sites to at least HSPA.
post
After reading this post, I thought to myself, "If this is the kind of attitude this guy has, he'll have a great experience at the Apple Store".sorry Sorry if this is a double post....i know i'm not supposed to laugh and genuinely feel bad for the guy, but this entire series of events is so insane its hard not to laugh. Not defending Apple here however I do find it rather funny in your original thread you were like "omg i just pull phone out my pocket and its bended, i did nothing to cause it to bend/break" yet you end this opening post with "will get applecare+ just incase i drop it again" lol.... original thread ( ) this thread: funny guyIt's refreshing to see a post of someone happy with their iPhone.Like another post said the most shocking thing is that they don't seem to understand what they did its wrong, thats why a lot of kids grow up to be a pos since they grow up doing this kind of things and never face major consequences about it.This was funny because I read the post above then yours to the OP if your that worried don't buy the iPhone.I'd love to see like the post above some form of waterproofing so that I'm not afraid to use my iPhone in the rain also and I've sent this suggestion to apple, a small translucent ring around the home button that has a pulsating ring of light for missed calls, messages, email etc if not then a led somewhere for the same purpose, a smart wifi option so it switches off once you leave your home wifi and will come back on once your home or it can remember where other wifi locations are and switch back on once you get to that area.Great post mate and im still loving mine, had a few snide comments at work about having a yellow phone but then caught the main one looking at new iphones on the web lol Still pick this thing up and love it, have gone white with 4, 4S and 5 but agree the black front totally works with the vibrant colours, white would just not give the same look im also amazed at the number of U turns from 5S back to 5C, love it, keep any more pics coming as love seeing them and it keeps this great thread going!Hi everyone , I'm here to inform you all that I've solved this problem after battling for hours , I red a lot of post on various forums and tried , changed/removed security/encryption standards , changed DNS , Tried different channels , toggled genius in privacy ... etc but none worked I have a 5 year old netgear wifi router which worked just perfect with ipad , iPhone 4 & 4s but since I got i5 , I've faced serious wifi issues like , average browsing , ultra slow app store download speeds ... for a 10mb app it took more than 15 mins to complete , on 20 MBps broadband line .. After trying every solution out there I tried my friends Belkin and Netgear N series router , and everything worked perfect @ blazing speeds on both belkin & N series, found the difference almost instantly(on all my old devices as well) .However, I think Ace134blue has done a great job and this is the kind of post that will make me come back to the forum. And of course he gets described as that, it isnt easy at all to tell he is biased torwards Android and is anti Apple lol judging by all his post history, biased statements and comments dont really have a place in this subjective topicIt was torwards the "Samsung conspiracy theories" comment , which actually isnt far off at all from a theory or conspiracy, because Samsung has been known to do it tons of times and has got caught a few times doing it And of course he gets described as that, it isnt easy at all to tell he is biased torwards Android and is anti Apple lol judging by all his post history, biased statements and comments dont really have a place in this subjective topicThought I posted in here, well if I did this is another post lol Glad I'm not the only weirdo :P I love the iPhone 3G, never had one but I remember wanting one so bad when iPhone was AT&T only.Um, PhoneArena battery testing is awful and they dont even disclose how they run their tests, they are not reliable at all, Anandtech has the best real world life usage testing PhoneArena doesnt even disclose how they do their testign, they dont go at all into details, their testing is not reliable and doesnt match more then half the times with multiple other battery tests done by other websites and also reviews Anandtech is one of the most reliable, reputable non biased websites on the web, their results and testing and analysis is really almost unmatched in the industry Anand does not write any articles or post anymore on Anandtech, he has put others complelty in charge and now works basically full time at Apple, you dont just throw out years of extremely reputable fame and non bias and renown that Anandtech has built over the years with the industry, terrible damage control, its widely known now that PhoneArenas testing is flawed and that they dont even disclose their testing Lol yeah, im sure the iPhone 6 plus only gets one hour more of battery life then the 6, what a joke, nobody takes PhoneArenas testing seriously anyway, their testing is flawed they dont even disclose how they do their test I went from a 6 to a Plus and I get way more then one extra hour of battery life with my Plus What do you expect, it powers a Quad HD screen , the GPU has to push more pixels, the display is bigger and has a bigger drain on the battery, the 28nm Snapdragon 805 is not as power efficient as the 20nm Apple A8, this was pretty obvious just by looking at the specs on paperLooking at Android's premium market compared to iOS(iOS is only premium, Apple obviously doesn't sell anything not premium price) they are alot closer then you think, which says alot considering Apple is only one OEM , compared to the other OEM's on Android pushing out premium flagships left and right Your post says "its a very good OS, user base alone is proof of that" when really the user base is majorly consisted of cheap Android devices, it has such a big user base because Android is cheapExcessive thread locking and post deletion and banning has destroyed countless formerly great forums - deleting spam is one thing but vibrant forums that stay vibrant are typically the least moderated.Stop being lazy and set the timer, your thumb moves maybe a total of 5 inches during the process, you can click the sleep button right after you see the timer pop up so she doesn't respond, or you could make an angry post on the internet and pretend like that will help. And you would post the worst implementation of LED ever.....the way it's done is very nice and definitely not tacky present day...good job defending your iPhone with this obnoxious post And to answer this threads actual question, Apple is so stubborn because they will never give you guys what you actually want, they only give you guys what they feel you need...The indicated tone of "I'm really scared of" from the commenter was sarcastic in nature, given that the OP had contained those words in his post.I will definitely be jealous on Friday when my coworkers are playing with their new phones, but I'll survive ;-) I used the much improved Siri on iOS 8 to type this, so hopefully there aren't too many weird mistakes in this post!Ironic that you had the most boring post in it though. On the contrary , you're post was meaningless , you're post was laid out as if you have and used a iPhone 6.Maybe this is not worth a post, but last night a funny thing happened.Contrary to my previous post after only 24hrs with phone and pathetic battery life.... Once fully restored, backed up on iCloud and second full charge to 100%, the current status since last full charge is: Usage: 3 hours 54 mins (approx 4 hours) Standby: 17 hours 41 mins Battery remaining: 50%.Twice Also did a ##update# no luck Googled the issue, and every result was indicating a bad SIM - although, they were posts for 4, 4S and 5 (Around October 8 for the 5) which did not correlate to an update I would not really even consider the update being an issue if it weren't for a few of us with the same experience of updating, and then immediately having the issue Too weird Anyway, point of the post was to see if anyone else had this, which, some did - and as a heads up for others beating a dead horse now.You need to delete this post ... Unlock fusion IS LEGIT and provides great service ... And I don't know him but I'm happy cuz my AT&T contract will be cancelled tomorrow... Hello tmobile
sleep
The Jawbone UP24 is amazing, and a great tracker of sleep, activity, diet..... One of my favourite features is the sleep tracking.- dead pixel - backlight bleed - uniformity (one side darker, yellower) - smudge / smear inside glass - dust inside screen - dust or dirt inside glass (outside of screen area) - recessed / uneven volume button (on one but not another) - sticky vibration button (normal ones have a nice firm click) - uneven pressure / sticky / unbalance on sleep wake button (normal ones have a nice click to it) - uneven home button pressure (perfect ones have a nice click to it, but this is personal preference) - uneven gap when assembled (run your finger on the edge on each side and compare for your 6/6+) - dust inside camera lens - general cosmetic scratches / chips / dings (Apple logo, aluminum, buttons, sim slot) And this list hasn't even covered technical issues like wifi, Bluetooth, Touch ID, vibration rattle, etc. It's kind of funny with this water thing, I had a second gen iPod touch a few years ago and somehow I managed to render the sleep button useless from my sweat on an arm band after a run.Stop being lazy and set the timer, your thumb moves maybe a total of 5 inches during the process, you can click the sleep button right after you see the timer pop up so she doesn't respond, or you could make an angry post on the internet and pretend like that will help.I've received replacement flex cables with defective sleep button in the past, but I think it is possible for the volume buttons to be defective, as well.Loose sleep wake and a very horrible cheap home button.

apple's
With the 5s I used Apple's leather case which I though was the ideal balance of protection vs minimal bulk, and also provided nice grip and style.its ios and a 5.5 screen so i am going to buy but its that damn touch id taking up so much room and apple's design to keep everything symmetrical which i like but damn look at those bezels up top and bottom!!I've been looking all over and can't seem to find a "smart case" (similar to Apple's iPad Mini smart case) for the iPhone 6+.Oh dear, now you got me worried I don't know, but in Apple's website, T-Mobile is listed as "contract-free" and it's the same price as "unlocked" If someone who bought a T-Mobile 5s last year when it launch could chime in, that would be really helpful!Certainly some rumors are partially true in one form or another and Apple's plans may change over time (which can result in then-accurate reports becoming inaccurate), but maybe there's a way to give some kind of % number for each rumor/analyst source that is a representation of its reliability. The funny thing is that its kind of seasonal with Apple's release cycles. As a whole, when you add up all OEM's that use Android and all their issues combined, it is drastically worse then Apple's issues combined(2014 Moto G having terrible memory issue problems that Motorola isn't acknowledging, and so much more)Apple's CPU designs past 2 years in the A8/A7 is absolutely powerful good pieces of engineering and has had the competition extremely hot on it's heels with Apple's chip design prowess, Apple is going the Intel route here, going for stronger single core performance rather then just throwing more cores at it, look who won out that battle (Intel vs AMD) A Intel quad core outperforms and beats a octo core higher clocked AMD CPU, reasons being inferior architecture, worse single core performance etc...throwing more cores at it does not always and usually doesnt translate to linear performance increases in software/hardware worldSpace gray looks great naked, but I put mine in Apple's blue leather case and now the whole ensemble is a boring dark monotone.I seriously think Apple just posts fake stock for bots to try and buy like someone else said.. Because I was waiting for that and I even checked the stock on another device on apple's website a second before I pressed buy and it said available and then after I tried and got the error it immediately switched to unavailable... Like they just post one to trick bots into trying to buy it quickly for someone and it automatically fails on purpose and the stock is gone.. Apple please stop fake stocking your stores(The usb input DAC in the Prius turns out to be abysmally bad though - far worse than Apple's) Still in a world of bluetooth and compressed streaming audio, most are unlikely to notice or care.I read many times over people saying, "Apple's iOS6 is drab, boring and has been the same for so long".Just Apple's miscalculation that people would be so petty, jealous (of Apple's and iPhone's success) and stupid that they would need to over-engineer their stuff.I'm really tired of those obnoxious Apple's fan wannabe.Apple's decision to hold out the extra gig and break their pattern of doubling RAM every 2 years is such petty and pathetic way to save a buck.Glad I didn't cancel my order out of frustration from AT&T as it will likely arrive far sooner than if I had canceled and reordered through Apple.. it's just annoying to know I did my part to get in on the action and will receive it after those who ordered from Apple's app store..... live and learn though.. next time I'll try that (I wanted to go through apple.com but it was a mess). Also got tired of "normal" things just not working -- headphones with remote/mic are quirky at best, nothing like Apple's, and random reboots with KitKat on my S3 and losing reception are pretty annoying. And as dissatisfied as I still am with Siri's limitations, it is dwarfed by how dissatisfied I am with Apple's touch keyboard experience on this tiny screen. If you think Apple's current earning's report is a bad sign, wait till you see the next one... Samsung's Galaxy S5 is going to drop at the worst possible time for Apple.Eight month old iPhone 5 still on iOS 6.x and it is so erratic in how the battery drops in percentage on Apple's own battery meter to be unreliable.I agree, its a bit strange that Apple's launching in International Markets when there is overwhelming demand in the US, not being fulfilled, on time.No worries if you want to clean your phone in a manner against Apple's recommendations, but other folks won't and that doesn't make them lazy or scared.
video
ois also works great for video I've seen tests where the ois 6 plus on video was superior to the 6 ois has a magnetic ring and this magnetic ring is what keeps the lens from moving from what i have read the magnetic protruding ring does not care if you are recording video, taking still pictures, or you are in low light. For video, the 6 and 6+ are basically tied in any kind of moving situation.what I find amazing is that after the success of Lewis bending video, which surely gave him some huge cash, nobody but nobody in this world came up with the idea of making a video of a straight iPhone 6 or 6 Plus being put in a pocket and then taken off it bent....by magic like all the bend cases we keep seeing on here....great video I am very happy with the camera they both have video image stabilizer the plus has OIS Optical Image Stabilizer which is for still shotsGreat quality and great video.I'm super happy at how fast video focuses too, I think the 6s is going to be the ultimate, the s version iPhones always seem to perfect the camera.Nice video, yeah the time lapse quality is great, better than the slow motion which on mine seems off, not as sharp.I'll gladly take amazing 1080p (30 or 60 fps) video, with great stabilization, over 1 gb, 30 second 4k ****.The OIS is great, and I could take a video of the road in front of me in a moving car, and in the playback the road and trees and street lights were all rock steady, while the visible part of the car's hood was bouncing up and down.Phone is cool i love the size not too big and keyboard is amazing now time to wait for jb.... Video is amazingYeah, before the launch everyone was pretty excited and happy and soon as the unbox therapy guy made that bend video everything went to hell in here big time.Hey mom we made a video, that's nice dear.I7 quad core, dedicated video card, blu Ray player and (I must say it) a GORGEOUS full hd screen. No problem, helped me verify it as well so I'm happy you brought it up Yeah, not bad at all though being able to make a years worth of salary simply by post a short, panic troll video.Second video is great, perfect.Great video OP, cute dog too.Nice dog, nice places, nice video, but very ugly music. The home screen looks perfect, video on youtube looks amazing, etc.The resulting video is hilarious and priceless.I went searching around and found this video, which I was very pleased to see the great results from.I just think there's something amazing about seeing the world evolve from a place where phones were huge plastic boxes that were attached to the wall with a wire and computers were the whole floor of a city block and only NASA and the IRS had them to today where we're debating whether a SIX OUNCE computer that's about 70mm thick, no bigger than a checkbook, can process MILLIONS of times more data than those old machines, is a still and video camera, a photo editor, a phone, a text messager, a Web browser, a motion sensor, a game system, includes a built in monitor, a rechargable battery that will power it all day and a high definition screen... is too big to fit in our pockets when we bend over to tie our shoes.OK. great, that is a good video and specially 4.7" iPhone looks great.I'm inclined to give this video some credit, to be honest...And, like you say, a good camera app fills in some of the gap -- my favorite is ProCamera because it has lots of good stuff for Video, too (like recording in 720p for less insane file sizes).I think video stabilization would be great along with a great low-light camera and much clearer picture-i don't think screens on phones will be 4k for several years-I can see them already making 2k tablets and some crazy expensive 4ktablets but i don't see them making 4k phones-maybe a 2k but that would be expensive. You deserve perfect cuz you paid for perfect , your not the bad guy cuz you demand your phone work , that's called taking a stand and not letting subpar quality control affect you because it shouldn't affect one of us , we as consumers should stick together on something like this and give each other the knowledge to get the job done , not doubt and call names like children Than why after 3 white box replacements through the mail with the same manager on the case did I get upgraded to a 5s white 16 gig , I'm begging people to not make statements that aren't true , if you suffer through 3 defective iphone 5 they will upgrade you to a 5s because after 3 refurbs they must give you a new device and they don't make new 5 anymore they only have refurb white box , I video tapped all 3 of my white box unboxings right from the signing to the opening and they all had scratched screens or something else and I had the proof , not only did I get upgraded I received a call from Erik from corporate who was stunned with what I went through and sent me a 32 gig iPod touch , just please stop assuming people are trying to commit fraud because we aren't , we are simply here trying to help each other get on the right path to enjoying their devices and if sharing my story and the email address of the managers that helped me gets something done for someone else and helps out one more lost person going through what I did that makes me feel great , we should all recieve perfect devices the first time and that don't happen but we have rights and should use themIf you are happy with VLC for other uses, most likely you will happy with Handbrake in terms of resulting video quality. You may never have to show the video to anyone but if the buyer tries anything funny you are going to be glad you have that video.A realistic look at the next iPhone from my perspective: PRIORITY Pre-installed Flash Removable battery More physical buttons for options such as profile 5.0MB camera or better Better battery life REALLY NICE TO HAVE Video conferencing and/or live streaming.yeah but that lag in your video is very serious and clearly seems to be something mechanically defective in your device if that is common, I came from a 6 to a 6 plus and the 6 plus is just as buttery smooth fast as the 6 that i came from, with no lag or stutters for me ever I also have TLC nand memory, which is suppose to be the worse NAND that causes some people issues but i myself have had no issues at all with it Try a hard reset (home and lock button until screen turns off completely) and also try turning on Reduce transparency in accessbility in general in settingsyeah but that lag in your video is very serious and clearly seems to be something mechanically defective in your device if that is is 6 Plus only.I'd love 2GB of RAM and whenever possible I like to double up on RAM, when building PC's I've been known to ram as much RAM (pun intended) as possible...maybe in a simple minded effort to just make things "better" but I've been using my rMBP which I only got 8GB of RAM for and compared to the 16GB RAM models its not insanely different...only difference is when I start doing INSANE things in video editing, I'm not talking about transcoding high res video I'm talking about doing some crazy ****** in After Effects and making the computer hot enough to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner....I don't think their is a whole lot on the iPhone 6 you can do that can push the RAM to the limit....I mean yeah opening a zillion tabs (which I am notorious for, I always have max tabs open) is one thing but I still find my phone to respond very well...Proving if his video is fake is irrelevant to the issue at hand.None of which means that bendgate is fake or that the YT video is fake in any case. You obviously get mad at the fact that the video was turned out to be fake.If he tried to fake a video he needed to fake it better. However, individual consumers and social media users who are viewing and sharing these videos are not motivated by ad revenue, but the claim that Unbox Therapy video was fake is fanning the flames for people to look for other videos and to discuss them. What I found weird about this video the first time I watched it is that he says that his focus was on the center of the phone, but looks like it bends near the volume rockers on the side more.. but he wasn't pushing on the middle; his thumbs were right on the side by the volume rockers and were bending it there, it's not because it's a more vulnerable area, it's because that's where he was bending it.Your thumb is freakishly big lol.. All your video proved was how awkward and cumbersome a normal sized thumb would beThe video shows very much that there is a problem and while this doesn't look too bad at the moment, I would be concerned that this is how it starts and it might get worst over time...If someone who has no affiliation with the video posts a racist comment, that might make the commenter racist. To those saying to "Buy a 5s": - Worse camera for both video and picture taking - Worse processer - Worse battery life - Sharp edged design - Thicker - No NFC (Yes, ApplePay is a big deal) Those are sacrifices people will make when purchasing last year's 4" model.Example: Angry Birds 2009 - 18mb file size Angry Birds 2014 on a larger screen iPhone 6 - 72mb 3.2mp camera 0.4~mb VGA video 1 minute 33mb 8.0mp camera 1.7~mb 1080 video 1 minute 142mb I hope my question made sense..Proceed to click the video result of the girl in long socks and Siri takes you to a site with lots of weird nudity...most of which is probably forbidden in the USA (tudou.com).My gf is scared to view a youtube video because she's afraid she will go over.
road
I really thought I'd at least be giving it a chance down the road (you can see my previous posts from before the launch when we didn't know we'd be getting both at the same time) but the 6 is pretty damn perfect so coupled with the +'s issues I no longer feel the need. The OIS is great, and I could take a video of the road in front of me in a moving car, and in the playback the road and trees and street lights were all rock steady, while the visible part of the car's hood was bouncing up and down.I advised the salesperson that having a great system that allows me to communicate while on the road was of utmost importance given how much time I spend on the road. There are people who will wait on line for 10 days to get tickets to a music festival or fly cross-country to attend a road football game, not sure what's so shocking about a tech fan wanting the latest and greatest shipped to his home as soon as possible. But than 6 months down the road, I tell you I will give you a great deal and sell you the premiums for a fabulous price of $200/month.The bad thing is I've been sick for a couple days and have been napping on my couch, but since I can see the road and parking areas right in front of my living room windows, every time I start to doze I hear something and am gawking out the window thus thoroughly destroying my nap, which is making me feel worse from my sickies.I've got a VZW dumb phone and two iPhone 5 handsets - a few weeks ago, one iP5 and the dumb phone were experiencing calls going straight to voicemail, I was on the road from Seattle to Skamokawa to Portland.my speeds have been terrible on h2o wireless throughout the USA (just on a road trip) and especially bad here in san francisco.
itunes match
I agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GB

The leap from the 5S to the 6 didnt feel like too much of a change really at all besides few obvious welcome changes, but I have switched since to the 6 Plus from the 6, and I have to say the Plus is absolutely incredible and feels like a major big upgrade to iPhone(the screen and battery on the Plus is simply just absolutely fantastic and dramatically better then what Apple has ever offered in the past) and that going to the 6 Plus from the 6 alone feels like a awesome nice upgrade and from the 5s to the 6 Plus is defitnetly absolutely a big difference and feel and change and feels like a very awesome upgrade Keep it, by February 2015 all apps and app updates submitted have to have 64 bit support, which means 35-40% speed boost increase in apps that dont use 64 bit code (plenty to name that dont use 64 bit code yet ; Netflix, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube , Google Maps, bunch others) so roughly around 30% speed boost increase for 5S and 35-40% faster applications for 6/6 Plus for Touch ID my advice and tip to you is register your same finger twice in Touch ID, it makes it tons more accurate and much more consistent and essentially works "perfect" for me after doing this trick, try it Lastly download a good camera app like Camera+, it really does make a difference..Biggest pro of the S cycle: abundant support, both hardware wise and software wise.I know Verizon has some nice and smart people in their tech support department. Also works great inside and outside the Power Support Air Jacket cases, keeps them looking great.LOL...sure is, it has kept us entertained and we don't feel sooo abandoned by At&t..it's a great a great support groupThey make great products from the ground up that have great value and offer some of the best support in the world.Horses were perfect too as a mode of transportation for years, doesn't mean that when something newer that was better and actually had enough support and desirability wouldn't then be perfect instead.I was also a bit annoyed at how quickly Apple drop update support for previous models (little did I realise how much worse the situation can be with non-Nexus devices on Android).Call apple support and speak with someone and explain what happened and how you're not happy but be nice.Well, it's a good thing you aren't exaggerating and adopting an insulting tone to "support" your rebuttal, because if you were that would make it significantly less compelling.I wasn't planning to upgrade my 4S until Apple drops iOS support, but I'm moving to a neighborhood with *terrible* reception. They're several iterations of Windows past 95/98/ME/XP and want to concentrate on moving forward and not having to continue legacy support of such, in relative terms, archaic software. This is rather really horrible support and left me with a bad state about Apple.Samsung has a history of dropping support for older devices (Galaxy S never getting updated past Android 2), using terrible components (bad GPS in the Galaxy S), using bad storage (look up "super brick" bug, Not only that, Samsung devices and Samsung storage used by other devices were flawed in their very design.apple support) are outsourced to Latin-America (cheap labor, obviously..) and they are extremely kind, really nice, but cannot really see into your order, they know what you know. The strange thing is that is I switched the phone off then on again it would all work ok, I noticed this on Friday and over the weekend, I called Apple Support who did not have a clue about what to do, strange that it has been fine yesterday and today.A Low Reflective Screen Mode For When You Wish To Read Ebooks On The iPhone Not as much real estate wasted on the front of the phone as current iPhones (The black part on the top and bottom of the iphone need to be much smaller, basically, almost all of the front of the phone should be the screen) It's ugly how much space/real estate is wasted on the current design of the front of the iPhone Front facing camera so that we could make videocalls, atleast while connected to Wifi N iChat Support Flash Support (I want to access hulu from my iphone damn it!)

However, T-Mobile becomes a much more compelling choice for customers who are happy with a cheaper Android or Windows phone (like $200-400 off-contract) that they plan to keep for years. The typical fan will just buy a case for it and say its the greatest phone even Smart apple fans will buy a different phone, androids or windows.and you want us to "Switch on that thing that sits between your ears" I had some of the earliest smart phones going back to windows phone's, ect.. and I never ever put a smart phone in my pocket most of the time, yes I do sometimes with dress pants, but never jeans, and I posted 2 links to 2 samsung phones that broke in pockets.Throughput on my LAN isn't terrible though: PS Before some wise guy comments on the Win7 VM and my ' ' ecosystem--I have to have Windows for certain automotive software I use.And you know you ain't going to crap in return like on (Windows Phone or Android) 3. iOS/ICloud/Intergration - Simple , elegant (dock bar blur is annoying, but I can overlook it) customisable to what you want it to be.- Reworked UI with trendy nonsense out and haute design in again; - Ability to choose default apps; - iCloud and Apple Maps that are at least as good as Google's services; - Some kind of widgets/dashboard/"Now" screen; - Some kind of a user-friendly take on file management; - Swype-esque keyboard; - Quality onboard speaker; - Usable iTunes sync functionality on Windows; - More wear-resistant case. You will need to open your iPhone 5s to be able to view the volume button contacts, and slide something (I used a tiny piece of paper ) inside the gap that makes your volume keys jiggle.... You will need a pentalobular screwdriver (the one that was required to open the iPhone 5) and a suction cup (the kind that you stick on windows and mirror)... just follow the couple of steps on iFixIt website: It worked for me... you must not be scared of opening your iPhone, and be careful enough not to break any connection wires under the screen (read the above iFixIt link for more info) Unfortunately, if it's the power button you want to fix, you wont be able to do it my way My power button jiggles a tiny bit, but it's hardly noticeable... when the iphone was opened I noticed there was no way to properly see the button and gain access to itwindows phone 8, along with some really exciting developers, are going to be bringing a lot of great stuff related to NFC in the near futureWith microsoft bringing xbox live to windows phone 7 series would be nice if apple introduced some kind of universal gamer card system, could include most played music/tv/movies too perhapsI gave the iphone 5S to my son, but I could suffer with a Windows phone if worse comes to worse.I had 2.3 gingerbread android phone for 18 months and while android itself was fun to use the weak hardware and lack of regular updates let the experience down considerably. So much stuff could be done even without having to root your phone. Then I switched to Lumia 520 and it was a breath of fresh air the simple yet elegant ui is great windows phone 8 is a cool ecosystem.Just this week I bought iPhone 3GS with ios 6 which is a little inferior to iphone 6 i would guess and I like the OS it's smooth and fluid and the phone is also well built although camera quality is not so good but everything else is good.So I like all 3 platforms equally well. The bad thing is I've been sick for a couple days and have been napping on my couch, but since I can see the road and parking areas right in front of my living room windows, every time I start to doze I hear something and am gawking out the window thus thoroughly destroying my nap, which is making me feel worse from my sickies.Windows continues to get worse and worse.Shame on you for using Windows, and non Apple displays....horrible bad habits.Seriously apps on Windows look tired, old, abandoned, boring much like Linux apps did 5-7 years ago when people were banging that drum. They're several iterations of Windows past 95/98/ME/XP and want to concentrate on moving forward and not having to continue legacy support of such, in relative terms, archaic software. And inside a car, bad weather (lots of clouds), high buildings, tinted windows, being far away from the windscreen, possibly defective parts in the car producing electronic noise, can stop it from working.
thread
- not sure if that's policy, but nice of the Apple genius to declare "Cosmetic conditions: out of box" for a phone with microscratches "visible at an off angle without looking for them" and a nail-catching dent in the glass As for the added disclaimer to the thread, I know it may sound paranoid or obnoxious but you gotta draw a line somewhere, otherwise it becomes extremely hard to draw conclusions based on this kind of thread. There is another thread on here with a guy who bought an aftermarket silver ring for his home button and his TouchID works perfect and it looks great for those interested...I love my Space Grey iPhone 6...sometimes I miss the Slate Black iPhone 5 color though, I'm sure they could have reformulated the paint to make it more scratch proof but that would've been harder...either way Space Grey looks great. If the thread (not you, the thread) wants to PM me and tell me I hurt its feelings, I'll be more than happy to issue a sincere apology.if you contact them and they don't have any records of the mistake consider yourself lucky and go about your life I've never heard of any of these things I'm reading in this thread such as back dated payments, 10 months later having to pay for the phone full price this is ridiculous lol its just like walking down the street and you find $20 on the ground, it was ur lucky day enjoy.on a side note, its nice to see a "friendly" thread on here for once! Not defending Apple here however I do find it rather funny in your original thread you were like "omg i just pull phone out my pocket and its bended, i did nothing to cause it to bend/break" yet you end this opening post with "will get applecare+ just incase i drop it again" lol.... original thread ( ) this thread: funny guyIf you want to vent your frustrations becuase we are super excited to get our awesome spectacular phone go make a new thread just for you.But I was annoyed at the first reply to this thread because it didn't offer anything useful, insightful or even meaningful. We have an NC specific thread going and I was #1 in line at the Friendly Center store and talked to the employee that stepped outside 30 minutes prior to store opening to take walk-in reservations and another member of the NC thread was at the Crabtree store at the same time I was at the Friendly store and we compared stock reports from employees that morning.Idk I couldn't think of a better one, but I never said it was a great thread I just said its a thread to leave the crap out of lol They're both great. This thread has helped keep me sane during the entire waiting process for my phone....happy to say I'm about to head to my local UPS hub and pick up my two iPhone 6+'s.So Im reading this thread and kind of excited that I may actually be able to get an iPhone 6 since the thing that was holding me back was having to pay full price to keep my unlimited data.my favorite part of this thread is that so many great movies have been quoted...Stripes...Airplane...and Willy Wonka is one of the best! She did this evening and gave me enough credit to get a nice case as well as a bill credit BTW I was nice on the phone and and explained that a lot of the frustration I've seen on this thread had as much to do with ATT's lack of transparency as well as the fact that the CSR's obviously were not given any leadership/guidance/information that would have at least given the consumer a feeling that we weren't all being stonewalled. So many of us refreshing our UPS pages, refreshing the thread page, checking Flight Aware.Firstly, I know I will be critisised for starting another 'vs' thread, but come on - this is a forum, and none of the other threads I found were a perfect fit for this.Shocked at that thread, mines great battery wise.this thread is hilarious.. it's amazing how customers have been taken so away with a product. This thread is to funny I've just been ghosting through this thread reading the comments and laughing you guys make waiting for my phone to come next week miserably enjoyable.(This is my favorite thread every year) I think with the 5 I kept refreshing at 9:55p ET, I'm going to try both - I'm sure after tonight we'll know for sure when online store inventory updates.[QUOTE=IpadSC400;18965323]That's nothing...my dreams involve midget dwarfs and purple donuts... Glad you like the 5C now: Worthy start of a thread topic that oneFirst commenter probably feels a little silly now for getting excited about this thread being topical and not devoted to petty squabbles.A little more info in the thread title would be nice Virgin Mobile is great though if you have Sprint LTE in your area.*hey let's post about my nice wonderful fast, reliable brand new Nexus 5 smartphone running Google's mobile operating system Android 4.4.2 KitKat...in a thread about iPhone fingerprint sensor* Just seems desperately out of place to me, that's all.Haha, maybe THEIRS is defect lol To be honest, if I even bothered to look at this thread last week, I would probably not notice this weird "virus" at all. This thread is so refreshing, actual unbiased discussion.........not being sarcastic.Dear all, Thanks for the great thread!Great post mate and im still loving mine, had a few snide comments at work about having a yellow phone but then caught the main one looking at new iphones on the web lol Still pick this thing up and love it, have gone white with 4, 4S and 5 but agree the black front totally works with the vibrant colours, white would just not give the same look im also amazed at the number of U turns from 5S back to 5C, love it, keep any more pics coming as love seeing them and it keeps this great thread going!the original iPhone sold for $500, $600 what are you guys getting so worked up about at this point many of these auctions aren't even breaking even lol lock this thread, put the phone away for 20 years and see if it's worth anything btw at least it's a first gen, those are the only version collectors are ever worried about ( no one in history is going to give a crap about a 3rd gen iPod shuffle lol)This thread is hilarious and made the wait much more tolerable. There was someone here a while back who started a thread about being worried about passing out drunk at a party and someone getting into his iphone while drunk.Excessive thread locking and post deletion and banning has destroyed countless formerly great forums - deleting spam is one thing but vibrant forums that stay vibrant are typically the least moderated.I was thinking this afternoon how annoying it would be for this to stop working and here is a thread about it....weird...On 8.0.2, I'm afraid to upgrade to 8.1 seeing the other thread where people said battery life was bad.Damn, sorry *Mods please delete this thread if you get a chance I'll take your word for it...but to play devils advocate, one could argue that the softer aluminum when hit very hard creates a sharp internal edge which could puncture the softer Li-Ion battery that apple uses where as cheap quality plastic phones with removable backplates tend to have hard plastic battery housings....I I think in this case it doesn't matter what phone the guy had, same result would have happened due to the force upon impact resulting in what you described.iP6 not moving on swappa either Awesome or as CNotes would say If you are doing ship to home, some people on SDs thread are still reporting activation problems.all just not cool when i've paid 1K for an iPhone and cases and it had a kernel panic, must have been a bad chip, so weird as i mentioned it on my old mac book, when i wrote the thread - i think peeps from UK were posting thinking i could just pop over to a store, time difference, plus i was not sure if could store could even help b/c of stock issues..... what are the odds of 2 KP's esp one on an iPhone! All the angry and dissatisfied owners are busy opening thread after thread concerning their devices.I was a bit frustrated so maybe the title of the thread could have been better but its truly amazing to me how most people on this forum get so ******** over mentioning a competitor device. You want a lot of unhappy customers ...... read the 10069 messages thread of unhappy AT&T pre-order customersI joined recently as well I think my first comment was a thread saying 'The 5.5 Inch Version Is A Must', then everyone got angry with me and said how is it a must, but I'm pretty happy Apple did bring it out, obviously people like me put pressure on them to release it, and it probably was a little rushed but Oh Well.I don't have anything to add to the OP's story here, but I'm always happy to post in a thread entitled Damn you AT&T!After 4 days of waiting for Apple to activate it (see my other thread, 'AT&T can't verify my identity'), my luck keeps getting worse & worse. Also I'll take your not replying to my original statement about you being the first to make a racist comment here on this thread as you admitting that you're the racist one here.I've been whining about this on this forum before this thread started, worried about whether this would happen and inquiring about rigid cases to help prevent this (and reading comments about how I don't need a case and why would I want to take away from the sleek beauty of the phone)...but even now - having predicted this - I'm bummed and not feeling as excited about the 6 Plus that should be arriving soon. There will be some super disappointed people on this thread come tonight and tomm morning, target screwed me so bad last yearThis thread should be the end of all those old jokes about women not being able to make up their mind Of course I'm making an assumption that many of these posts are made by guys so if you girls are annoyed I won't blame you and anyway ever since guys became indecisive about what size phone to get, it looks like changing one's mind has moved from joke territory to inalienable right. The animosity in this thread is really confusing and appalling. That's weird, I could have swore there was a response in this thread before (maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me), looks like the T-mobile users are pretty furious at this oversight in other forums.Your thread title is deceiving and inaccurate and you should be ashamed of yourself.Ok... People on forums get mad when someone starts a new thread about things that have already been asked, then this guy does what everybody says you "should" do and searches and finds someone who had the same issue and brings back up an old thread and you get mad about that... WTF.My attempt was to share what I heard from a friend who Is unhappy with their service in NYC not to discount others with perfect Verizon service in NYC I'm done with this thread OP my suggestion is do a trial and see if it works for you.If one is going to be picky about the thread, be picky about the thread topic! There's also a thread dedicated to slow motion videos but I don't have the link handy.Yes, I'm absolutely concerned about these things... but for the purposes of this thread, I for one am more gobsmacked that of all of these other things that the OP should be worried about, he instead has chosen to fixate on a rather absurd one: he wants to disable the fingerprint reader on a device which can be used to collect insidious data, and buying said device - the option which is most effective - is an option he finds acceptable.I've gotten bad enough to the point where I'm replying to this thread and checking my tracking obsessively while at the gym :P But it's nice to finally see my phone left Alaska at 1258.

I would be happy if they made the new phone thicker to include a bigger battery and bigger Camera lens to improve low light photos I am very happy with the current 6 design and will probably get the plus version next timeI'm super happy at how fast video focuses too, I think the 6s is going to be the ultimate, the s version iPhones always seem to perfect the camera.Did that and the apps were updated, after a short while. The funny thing is that instead of showing 'Open' beside every updated app in the updates section of the App Store,it shows 'Update'.I've confirmed that the apps were updated (compared the latest version in the App Store and on my phone, they were the same). Not that it actually affects anything but i just find it weird. That all changed again yesterday when my 128GB silver 6 was delivered and I have to say I absolutely love it The size is perfect (slightly smaller than the S5 it's replaced which makes it much more pocket and hand friendly), TouchID is brilliant and the general fit and finish is second to none I didn't think I'd missed iOS but even though the last version I used was 6 and it's obviously changed a lot since then it was like welcoming an old friend and it feels good to be back I've always had dark coloured phones before but this time I decided to go for the silver as white is the iconic Apple colour IMO and I'm really glad I did - it looks stunningTake Blizzard's Hearthstone, it works great on an iPad and while they are working on an iPhone version, I think that is going to be a much different experience because the cards will necessarily have to be shrunk a lot to fit the interface.I got to do a real "test drive" on it, and although it was super impressive & the screen was awesome...I had to face the truth that it just wasn't the device for me, given a choice of the smaller version.I was excited when I heard about the first iPad, but I didn't buy the first version and I'm very happy I waited.Sure, it would be nice if the 32 GB was the base version for the same price as the 16 GB one was....just as it would be nice to get more extra options in a car for the price of the based model with no options.Feel free to sound off which version you are getting (including size) as I'm curious what the average on the forum will be Apple kind of threw us a curve ball by bumping the 2nd tier to 64gb but still keeping the paltry 16gb as the base model.Google's Nexus 5 is a great little device with the best version of Android, but the battery life is atrocious.Tmobile won't launch lte till 2013 and even then it will probably only be in a select few cities so its not a bad idea to buy the verizon version Nice I traded my att iPhone 5 for the Verizon one just because I will probably never have tmobiles lte in my area and the Verizon version supports a lot more bands and one day I might go to Verizon they have lte in my areathe original iPhone sold for $500, $600 what are you guys getting so worked up about at this point many of these auctions aren't even breaking even lol lock this thread, put the phone away for 20 years and see if it's worth anything btw at least it's a first gen, those are the only version collectors are ever worried about ( no one in history is going to give a crap about a 3rd gen iPod shuffle lol)I joined recently as well I think my first comment was a thread saying 'The 5.5 Inch Version Is A Must', then everyone got angry with me and said how is it a must, but I'm pretty happy Apple did bring it out, obviously people like me put pressure on them to release it, and it probably was a little rushed but Oh Well.I wish the leather or original was able to fit the 6+ though...not too excited about the utility version. We thought we could rip off customers by selling a $600 cheap plastic version of our nice phones, but no one would buy them."think twice about sprint, their the worst carrier in the states, very unfriendly towards consumers, harsh unlock policies, terrible 3G speeds (below 500kbps) you'll be better off with a MVNO using at&t infrastructure like a gsm version of straight talkJust buy a cheap knockoff lightning cable from somewhere for cheap that looks exactly like the apple version.I've never owned a recent iPhone (the iPhone 4 was the last version that I owned) but in my experience all iPhones have been very laggy in opening apps, and especially bad at answering phone calls (many times the call ends before I can make the dumb "slide to answer" thingy actually work.Apple rely on releasing such a pitiful base spec that most people are forced to buy an enhanced version for an outrageous price hike.too bad Samsung ruined it with their ugly version of TouchWiz introduced with ICSUsually the "cheap"(last years) iPhone gets a 8GB version but this year with the iPhone 5C the cheap version gets 16GB standard.

I use my 5s as ipod , its too small i cant use it as main phone anymore im glad im using the 6 plus, will never go back to small screen, but i understand if some choose smaller iphone,as long as its apple made i know its great choiceThe g2 takes amazing pictures in the right situation, however, the shutter speed is too slow to capture my daughter moving around which is the main use for my phone. No thank u - verizon is where I will be - my main reason for moving was pricing - Tamara made that a non issue I am happy it is over - checked the Att acct this morning and it is with a zero balance and closed - and it will remain that wayTo be quite honest, for that kind of money that Apple charges for a phone, you'd want something that as advertised and I can not believe the main stream media is letting Apple off the hook on this one!Great post mate and im still loving mine, had a few snide comments at work about having a yellow phone but then caught the main one looking at new iphones on the web lol Still pick this thing up and love it, have gone white with 4, 4S and 5 but agree the black front totally works with the vibrant colours, white would just not give the same look im also amazed at the number of U turns from 5S back to 5C, love it, keep any more pics coming as love seeing them and it keeps this great thread going! The main thing stopping me from doing so is I am worried that apple can tell if an esn is bad or activation lock I sensed.on the contrary, web browsing is the main thing I use my phone for, I've never had "ram" issues but I don't look for trouble, having 8 open tabs is dumb

idea
what I find amazing is that after the success of Lewis bending video, which surely gave him some huge cash, nobody but nobody in this world came up with the idea of making a video of a straight iPhone 6 or 6 Plus being put in a pocket and then taken off it bent....by magic like all the bend cases we keep seeing on here....I tried to figure out if AT&T Next would be cheaper but their website is really damn confusing and I have no idea how my corporate discount would apply. Now I kind of figure that despite getting an order through less than 25 mins after the pre-order was SUPPOSED to start(no matter that some were able to get through early, most of us were refreshing early like you, so please don't act like you had one over on us), since I haven't even gotten the "you're screwed we have no idea when you will get a phone" email, there is no end in sight.mohammad : smh and bet you guys are the ones to deal with the angry customers mohammad: yeah but atleast resale is going to be high Cody Ritch: you have no idea seriously Cody Ritch: We really try to make sure everybody is happy.I find it really funny how a couple years ago when Samsung INTRODUCED the Note phablet just about everyone here said how it was such a stupid idea because it was so large and said they'd never buy an iPhone bigger than 4" because 4" was the perfect size. She apologized profusely for me not getting my phone right away, and I kind of hemmed and hawed about them not being able to expedite the shipping without getting mean or being rude (she really was a very nice young lady; I have no idea how she sounded so enthusiastic this early in the morning), and then she finally said "But you know what I could do..." and offered me a free leather case.I get why some of us hate the idea of it, but we're a biased bunch, thoroughly accustomed to 4" as the still "perfect" size as handed down by the Apple. They are great for getting a general idea of how big the screens might be I am actually happy with the 4 inch screen I had a little trouble reaching all of the corners of the screen on the 4.7 inch screen.I think that using sapphire glass is a brilliant idea, making the screen so that it doesn't scratch is great business sense for Apple, they make a phone where you don't need a screen protector and they can bump up the price to compensate.FWIW, I think it is indeed a wonderful idea that a teenager get a job if she/he wants a smart phone.TouchID is "magic", a very brilliant idea.I've had plenty of samsung friends who said the retina display looks nice and i've had many iOS friends who said samsung screens look nice; i doubt either had any idea with the exact PPI numbers were.I have no idea, but this ad just makes me feel so happy and cheery and whatnot.I didn't like the idea of plastic or of the bright colors at first, I'm pretty happy with a nice sleek black and I love the feel of the aluminum, but reading everyone's posts is starting to make me wish I had an upgrade soon!Tmobile won't launch lte till 2013 and even then it will probably only be in a select few cities so its not a bad idea to buy the verizon version Nice I traded my att iPhone 5 for the Verizon one just because I will probably never have tmobiles lte in my area and the Verizon version supports a lot more bands and one day I might go to Verizon they have lte in my areaI highly doubt it is from a lack of RAM, I think I know what your talking about, because this one website I visit alot called gamespot.com crashes on my Plus 9/10 times and I have no idea why, it actually crashes my springboard, this forums I visit on Gamespot, and it only happens on this website which I have no idea why....it is so weird because when I had the 4.7 inch i6 before I switched to the Plus, this website never ever crashed on my 6....so weird...At the time I had no idea what his reason could have been but dishonesty always troubles me and only bad things seem to follow and I felt that we had time to stop the whole thing from getting ugly.I guess I'm just batting around the idea of doing this and one side of me wants to do it immediately but the other side of me thinks it's not worth any kind of risk.It was terrible idea and takes up ugly screen space on bottom might as well have a home button.I've already got a hit on my credit report from some collection somewhere I have no idea about and I'm still investigating and I'm just worried about putting more weird dings on.You seem like a lovely, intelligent person but in this case I hope you are an idiot with no idea what you're talking aboutI honestly don't know why they have to lie....what's worse: giving false information or telling the truth "we have no idea what the ******* is going on"What a sad statement it is that people are practically salivating over the idea of other iPhone buyers being dissatisfied with their purchase.Bad, bad idea right now.OK, not a clever idea, but lots of people are smart enough to commit a crime but not smart enough to figure out the consequences when they get caught.= Really dumb idea..Really, really dumbBuying used phones off of craigslist is a bad, bad idea!Just for the record I'm really clumsy so protecting my screen is never a bad idea. But, my point again is that: If not having 'word wrap' is really a bad idea on iOS.. then people should agree and accept that this is inferior and consider to recommend that 'word wrap' should be available by default or at least turn it on somehow through options.

tomorrow
We are on the same boat, and if we are lucky we should see scan at around 4:10 CST or 1:10 AKST, so just sit down and relax, if we are very lucky, maybe we will get our phone by tomorrow, or we would have to wait for Monday.Happy for everyone with a shipment coming tomorrow Sad that I haven't gotten mine yetI'm hoping to get lucky tomorrow morning at the Friendly Center Apple Store.I'm lucky this time around because I have two additional UPS packages being delivered tomorrow and both say 11:15-3:15 and I'm assuming all of them including my iPhone will be on the same truck, so I sort of got around the whole "end of day" approximation that they put on these pre-orders so people can't be mad if they're a little late.I find it funny the release the day it drops the day before millions of people are about to be disappointed by Apple when they can't get the phone of their choice tomorrow. But I'm not worried.... For the worried, if your phone is being shipped from US to Canada, as long as ups has the pkg by 3:30pm today, it will be here by end of day tomorrow.Dear everyone, I am getting my gold 5s t-mobile unlocked one tomorrow, great to hear it is indeed unlocked, heard about 3/4 different stories from apple employees (even from the same store).Yellow is sweet bt that blue still looks great, at apple store in Newcastle tomorrow so looking forward to seeing a green Another point this feels great in the hand, its more like ceramic than plastic!I have a delivery exception due to bad weather, delivery has been rescheduled for tomorrow... Let's hope it doesn't get worse.I should have my iPhone 6 delivered tomorrow but I keep getting that Android itch (like being married to a wonderful and beautiful woman but being attracted to someone else because of how differennt she is ).I was told to setup as new, which I've already tried Interesting thing though - he said that these apps are having problems, so I am going to try a fresh restore again, downloading the firmware again as well, as he seems to think it is corrupt (the firmware): backboardd, com.apple.WebKit, SpringBoard From my jailbreaking days, I know that backboardd is an integral daemon that runs along side springboard, which is also corrupt, per the tech Will restore as new tonight and report back tomorrow afternoon Let us know what they say!Sitting on the same thing ... to me they can get it to us tomorrow ... and I'm gonna be pretty unhappy if it carries over into Thurs ... since I am not home all day and even picking it up will be annoying as I have class all day ..Still p r o c e s s i s i n g Well I guess I'm not lucky Ordered at 2:44, 2:44 hours after the original pre-order time My 6P 128 Gold is still processing Let's hope for tomorrow I hope I won't be extremely unlucky that my order will stick as processing without charging me until mondayNothing really I have my wifi and Bluetooth on, but I turned off most the the location services I don't need and left only the ones I need like camera, find my iphone etc, with everything thing on I should get close to 7-9 hours, but to be honest I mostly used it so far for normal usage, no map usage today such as Waze, it drains battery power like mad, I'll post update lasted tomorrow after using Waze to show the difference in battery power. You need to delete this post ... Unlock fusion IS LEGIT and provides great service ... And I don't know him but I'm happy cuz my AT&T contract will be cancelled tomorrow... Hello tmobileGetting super annoying I've gotten everything from Be here today or for sure tomorrow to "End of August" sucks how no1 has a clue...and the fact the workers seem to be getting more and more annoyed with calls asking if they have any.I would even roll with having to sign a new two year contract with AT&T, or maybe sign with them getting a cheap free dumb phone and then go back tomorrow and play the lost my microsim game with them.Arrival Scan Looks like my pallet joined up with the security held 7:10 crew and flew off to Korea.. (Would have preferred Osaka vacation for various reasons... but its moving.. but still 25th, so the question is will it remain with the 7:10ers when they depart for the US... while tomorrow is a possibility assuming they pop the next flight out... being on 'expedited' I dont hold much hope... but now Wednesday looks promising, except as I've stated, Wednesday is the 1 bad day this week for me.)

point
At some point, it becomes, "I'm tired of not having the fingerprint authentication," instead of "The fingerprint authentication will be so nice!"I came to realize that the light simply fed negative, addictive behavior, even to the point where it would distract and exclude me from engaging in more meaningful activities.I also purchased a basic phone as a second line.... Later in the day i got a phone call saying my card was declined..called and approved but at that point my order was pushed further in the que... waited and waited and nothing changed... until today and kept checking this forum to see where everyone was at....and after finally waiting for so long i gave up and was LUCKY enough to find a device at a Best Buy Mobile store via: idevicechecker.com I would definetely recommend it..got there wiht no line and got my new SILVER 128 gb plus...and I decided to stay with my carrier.. ATT customer service was worthless...they didn't know what they were talking about and was always getting the run around..ontop of that the LG basic phone I ordered was in stock but they never shipped it to me and its always says backordered.....Having demo'ed both side by side, I felt the 6 was a great size and a perfect in-between point between the 5 and the 6+.Might be moving back to Japan before my iPhone 6 contract here in the states is up - would kind of blow to have to start a new contract on a phone that might be a year or more old by that point. After completely moving away from my 5S fully, I could not see the point in going with anything smaller as it has worked out well for me at the Gym, In the car and overall in the pocket, so far it has fit very well into my dress pants, shorts and track pant pockets.I guess my point is: it sucks if you've had a bad experience, but for the overwhelming majority, customer service/support is a very large reason why Apple retains so many customers.Eventually, the app developers will optimize them to fit natively on the new screens, at which point the font will be nice and crispy once again.Great thanks, yeah AC looks pretty appealing at this point.Long story short, I'll continue to make the $99 investment for two years worth of piece of mind, or one years worth + an additional selling point a year from now if I sell it and get the 6s.I am so very happy that the phone will arrive on the 25th - its my birthday and all but I am mostly just happy to be done with this process - staying up late waiting on departure scans, waking up early to check arrival/departure/import scans - I am so very tired - no, nobody made me do it - I have enjoyed the anticipation and thrill of the chase, but I am still quite tired at this point and ready for a nap!it does not apply to the internal hollow gap of the phone to fit smaller internals it applies to the force applied on a single point and where it is relative to the point of balance. You have to look very close to see it and try moving your point of you a little bit by moving the phone.I agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GBCamera is awesome, battery life is on point, and the screen is absolutely stunning.I think it's beautiful, and exciting, that engineering has reached a point now where it's possible to do this.So I'm just hoping that at some point, the big A will see fit to provide three models (with the same core components) ranging from 4" to 5.5" to keep us all happyAt some point the trend is going to move downwards again and I believe more manufacturers will be taking this kind of dual kind of approach. The 5s has held up well, but I'd be worried about breaking the plus, or flexing it to the point where the glad breaks. The point the people that actually have thought the issue through are making (instead of the ones talking about how "nice" it would be and why Apple "should" just because costs have come down and it would make them happy) is that Apple has NO reason to do this.Case in point, when I went from a 3GS to a 4S, I was able to get a mophie case right away, because the same one that fit the 4 would also fit the 4S.Although this is sage advice and worth a point bump, I kind of, sorta know what the OP is talking about.Lovely unlimited data, 15mb all over London, but it just went bad over the course of the last 24 months too the point I had under 1MB or no signal most of the time. You make a good point, such a move might seem drastic now but one I view as inevitable.I didn't see the point in taking a further loss to move up to a 5s, even though I do think the fingerprint sensor is handy, and the camera improvements would be "nice to have".At this point though I know I'm a Nexus guy so being they are off-contract cheap, I'm not too worried or concerned.Yes the damage isn't bad and yes over time you would probably sustain some sort of marks on the phone by yourself but the point is these things are a lot of money and should be perfect out of the box.Yellow is sweet bt that blue still looks great, at apple store in Newcastle tomorrow so looking forward to seeing a green Another point this feels great in the hand, its more like ceramic than plastic!the original iPhone sold for $500, $600 what are you guys getting so worked up about at this point many of these auctions aren't even breaking even lol lock this thread, put the phone away for 20 years and see if it's worth anything btw at least it's a first gen, those are the only version collectors are ever worried about ( no one in history is going to give a crap about a 3rd gen iPod shuffle lol)Apple is with no doubt the most successful company making their products look cool, fancy desirable etc... You got the point.I just don't know if it is worth upgrading if I'm happy with my 5 as it is (aside from the terrible battery life I'm getting at this point - though I think replacement batteries can be had for pretty cheap). My whole point was that the reason why Android has such a huge marketshare is because of cheap Android devices , and that basically any OEM can just make a cheap 1GB , 5 megapixel shooter with a simple old dual core and stick 4.1/4.2 on it and sell it for really cheap which is a fact. Some display units may exhibit it, some may not, thats the thing with LCD technology, it is not 100% perfect and this is where OLED has advantages in having perfect screen uniformity and no backlight(OLED has issues of its own too though) Id say just keep it, nd just relax...slowly overtime too itll go away the backlight as we start to use our phones even more I believe, or itll just dim enough to the point where it is gone eventually....if you truly want to get your phone completly replaced , its really hit or miss with the Genius's, you could of told them, "hey this issue just started developing and im afraid itll get worse over time," etc etc.I was very dissatisfied with the consumer reports testing as it clearly didnt test the problematic weak point, quite a shocking difference. This seems a bit shady, I would see the point with other phones with this kind of code, but with the iPhones, Apple maintains the imei white list.I will probably stick with my LG G3 at this point, the 6+ is nice in some ways but it is not worth the hassle at all.All I can say is if I had ordered on 9-12 and still have not received my phone, I'd be beyond mad to the point of making people who had nothing to do with it feel bad. It's rather the point that people are getting tired of the annoying complaining posts.Texting would be nice, but not worth much to us at this point. Also while you do make a point, if you take one defective phone off the table, replace it with another, then another rude customer will come and bend that one.Of course it might not fit in a really, really tiny girls pocket or something but that's not the point, the point is it does fit in nearly everyones pockets but when it goes in and fits, it BENDS, that's the real issue.I'm simply not confident this can be fixed by software, not only am I not confident, I'm near certain at this point. If this is somehow a narrow thing and a non issue, which seems doubtful at this point, great but as It stands if the phone Is bending in a front pocket there is a definite problem and apple should have either engineered around it and honeycombed the metal and reinforced it or made the phone thicker.- faster CPU (kind of not sure what a faster CPU is used for in these phones at this point) - 2gb of ram - 1080p screen That would make an awesome phone but I wouldn't mind waiting a year to get it in the iPhone 7 because I like being on the non-s cycle so it like I'm rocking the newest gen because I'm vain like that.I guess it appeals to the CH audience, but the same punchlines and low-hanging fruit rehashed again and again just seems tired and lazy at this point. The point is the cost for Apple to bump 16 GB to 32 GB is absurdly low and would be well worth doing just so they don't tarnish their brand when people get frustrated with their purchase later on.Honestly at this point I'm so tired of calling in that it's not worth it to me.The only issue I've run into is that at some point you really do need to put a SIM card for the dumb phone line into a dumb phone, or else you need to call in once a month to get the data plan removed.I feel it's inevitable so trying to hold out is a futile attempt at this point. After having consistently terrible service at our new home last year (to the point of getting a MicroCell) I placed a call to AT&T to try and figure out why my service was so bad.I get what you mean and understand your point, but nowadays pre iPhone release rumors already kill iPhone sales each year and its getting worse and worse.I'm SUUUUUPER paranoid about my iPhone 5s as a result...don't really trust that lightning connector, and I'm SUPER careful to never ever allow it the slightest chance to get dirty, to the point where I've got 4 cradles I use in various places so the connector can never possibly touch anything but the connector on my iPhone lol Worried about the newer iPads too.Its a point of contention because most cases are ugly and some people the amount of money they send on cases and films they could damn near buy another phone they certainly could pay for AppleCare+.The graphics looks terrible so my point was, and remains; what is the point of having the "best" or the "most """HD""" screen on the market if the graphics look like SD would look on an HDTV (actually WORSE!)However, there may be some non-zero percentage of people for whom the model might not be a perfect fit, at which point I imagine the results could be unpredictable.Yup, no point making a nice phone such as an iPhone 5 a brick on T-Mobile's horrendous 3G network running on 1900 MHz.Twice Also did a ##update# no luck Googled the issue, and every result was indicating a bad SIM - although, they were posts for 4, 4S and 5 (Around October 8 for the 5) which did not correlate to an update I would not really even consider the update being an issue if it weren't for a few of us with the same experience of updating, and then immediately having the issue Too weird Anyway, point of the post was to see if anyone else had this, which, some did - and as a heads up for others beating a dead horse now.Obviously you will get worse battery life on 3G or LTE..point is people were getting worse battery life before even on wifi...thats the point of posting the differences.Stop being so damn picky, it will get to a point where your brain will make things up Becuase your looking for something wrong.I've gotten bad enough to the point where I'm replying to this thread and checking my tracking obsessively while at the gym :P But it's nice to finally see my phone left Alaska at 1258.But I'm sure at some point my iPhone 4 will crap the bed and I will be forced to either get the 5 or inevitable 5S (maybe they'll change the -S suffix... looks weird w/ 5).But, my point again is that: If not having 'word wrap' is really a bad idea on iOS.. then people should agree and accept that this is inferior and consider to recommend that 'word wrap' should be available by default or at least turn it on somehow through options.
link
Great detail overall - chain link fence, leaves, railing all look great. Thanks for the link...been looking all over online for a nice one and aside from dockplus.com, which is very similar to the one you posted, but literally twice the price (and too much in my opinion for a dock) I hadn't found something really nice, simple and elegant.I'm sympathetic to no one who labors under the delusion that they have some magical link with an individual who is no longer alive.Beards are pretty fashionable at the moment so I think that observation is coincidental and has no real factual link to be honest. You will need to open your iPhone 5s to be able to view the volume button contacts, and slide something (I used a tiny piece of paper ) inside the gap that makes your volume keys jiggle.... You will need a pentalobular screwdriver (the one that was required to open the iPhone 5) and a suction cup (the kind that you stick on windows and mirror)... just follow the couple of steps on iFixIt website: It worked for me... you must not be scared of opening your iPhone, and be careful enough not to break any connection wires under the screen (read the above iFixIt link for more info) Unfortunately, if it's the power button you want to fix, you wont be able to do it my way My power button jiggles a tiny bit, but it's hardly noticeable... when the iphone was opened I noticed there was no way to properly see the button and gain access to itTo be honest, as I was pressing the link, I wasn't expecting much but damn.. you did a superb job.Just checked my email and I got an email from att @ 8:03( just saw it now) talking about a change with my account ( got nervous) followed the link it took me to my account ( weird).Check out this link: I'm just going to keep my iPhone 5s the way it is because it's barely noticeable (especially from a normal distance) and I've seen iPhones that are way worse than mine, so I definitely don't wanna trade it in for one that's worse. There's also a thread dedicated to slow motion videos but I don't have the link handy. So you'd have to have your phone turned on, unlocked AND not notice someone bump a gizmo against your phone, AND not notice that all of a sudden your browser opens to a page you've never seen before, with a "click me" download link on it, AND you click on it for some dumb reason AND then for another dumb reason, go find the downloaded file afterwards, AND click on AND agree to install it.

difference
The leap from the 5S to the 6 didnt feel like too much of a change really at all besides few obvious welcome changes, but I have switched since to the 6 Plus from the 6, and I have to say the Plus is absolutely incredible and feels like a major big upgrade to iPhone(the screen and battery on the Plus is simply just absolutely fantastic and dramatically better then what Apple has ever offered in the past) and that going to the 6 Plus from the 6 alone feels like a awesome nice upgrade and from the 5s to the 6 Plus is defitnetly absolutely a big difference and feel and change and feels like a very awesome upgrade Keep it, by February 2015 all apps and app updates submitted have to have 64 bit support, which means 35-40% speed boost increase in apps that dont use 64 bit code (plenty to name that dont use 64 bit code yet ; Netflix, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube , Google Maps, bunch others) so roughly around 30% speed boost increase for 5S and 35-40% faster applications for 6/6 Plus for Touch ID my advice and tip to you is register your same finger twice in Touch ID, it makes it tons more accurate and much more consistent and essentially works "perfect" for me after doing this trick, try it Lastly download a good camera app like Camera+, it really does make a difference..What a difference a great police force makes, very grateful for ours.Went from the 6 to the 6 Plus and am beyond absolutely happy and satisfied and glad that I did, no regrets at all and i am already used to the Plus now...the bigger screen and 1080p panel, the OIS, and espcially the noticeably better battery life of the Plus makes it feel like a big upgrade from past iPhones and a legit upgrade...I am absolutely in love with my Plus, if you dont mind a Note 3 sized phone/phablet , the Plus is the way to go, I promise you wont be let down The thinness and tapered edges makes this device great to hold in hand IMO, and keeps it slim and very tolerable and lighter and skinnier in pocket due to its form factor OIS is the smallest reason to upgrade to the 6 Plus, but OIS most certainly does help in low light and makes the Plus produce better images then the 6, you picked a bad few examples, OIS helps quite a bit in low light On a 6 Plus here, came from a 6 , and have noticed absolutely no difference in performance, both scream and peform blazing fast and give fantastic graphical details in games alongside with superb high frame rate, Vainglory looks and plays beyond amazing on my Plus I agree to this, 6 Plus performs just as blazing fast and stupdenously fast as the 6 I switched from which I had own for over a month and a halfThe 6 wasnt bad but battery life is very important to me and theres a big difference between the 2...and the screen size is awesome. After being told there was no noticeable difference in speed I expected it to be a perfect fit.I used my iphone 6 for 12 days before i returned it and went for a 6plus now here are the differences:- iPhone 6 Pros One handed use light and pocketable Cons to be honest except for the design there wasnt any difference btw 5s and 6.. battery life was almost the same n so was the display iPhone 6 plus my experience:- as i have used LG g3 and Note 3 going for a phablet wasnt a big deal for me..but to be honest this thing is big and not that much easy to carry around in your pockets but two things made me just fall in love with this beauty 1st its bigger and FULL HD display [on iphone 6 i can easily see jaggered lines on the text n Fonts but here on iphone 6 plus everything is smooth n crystal clear] second man o man the battery life is awesome and superb.. to be honest iPhone 6 plus is the real upgrade for this generation while 6 is jus OKThere is a considerable difference in size between it and the 6 +, and I find the mini preferable when viewing videos and at other times when a larger screen is desirable.Having just come back from vacation, and looking at my photos, compared to what photos I saw on someone's S5 during that vacation, the difference is astounding, the S5 takes such amazing photos.Dear Members I would like to upgrade my iPhone 5 64 GB to iPhone 5S I have found that since I have the iPad 128 GB, I have not used the iPhone to its full capacity I was going to get the iPhone 5S 64G but the price difference between the 16 GB and 64 model makes me think whether it is worth it As I have the iPad 128 GB , I wonder whether it would be a waste to buy the iPhone 5S 64 GB Perhaps some of you are in the same situation or gve me ideas of situations in which having both with high capacity would be useful ThanksAnd on that HUH question that i asked, i was clearly being sarcastic and was not challenging anyone but you're too dumb to tell the difference.Hi everyone , I'm here to inform you all that I've solved this problem after battling for hours , I red a lot of post on various forums and tried , changed/removed security/encryption standards , changed DNS , Tried different channels , toggled genius in privacy ... etc but none worked I have a 5 year old netgear wifi router which worked just perfect with ipad , iPhone 4 & 4s but since I got i5 , I've faced serious wifi issues like , average browsing , ultra slow app store download speeds ... for a 10mb app it took more than 15 mins to complete , on 20 MBps broadband line .. After trying every solution out there I tried my friends Belkin and Netgear N series router , and everything worked perfect @ blazing speeds on both belkin & N series, found the difference almost instantly(on all my old devices as well) .Doesn't matter what anyone here tells you, if you can't see a difference notable enough to warrant upgrading, then it's not worth upgrading.I upgraded from a 5s to a 6 only because circumstances allowed me to do so at little expense, and the larger screen is nice, but the fact that the A8 chip is 25% faster than the A7 or whatever they claim has made no notable difference in what I do with my phone or how well it does it.like I said, I've seen no real notable difference; certainly NOT 1-2 seconds worth.Thank God this is only your opinion, I , and millions feel the total opposite and absolutely love and adore the new iPhone design, the Note 4 design is more cumbersome, it is a thicker phone, it is wider, it is heavier, and doesnt have tapered edges, it feels much more cumbersome in the hand, coming from a OnePlus One, the 6 Plus is noticeably better in performance, espcially when it comes to frame rate in games, it is much better and offers quite a bit better GPU performance then the OnePlus One's Adreno 330 GPU... Yup, conpared some low light shots with my 6 Plus vs 5S on my IPS monitor, and it is a dramatic difference, stop sipping the Android koolaidSoftware wise there's not much of a difference either besides another row of icons which is a bit disappointing Oh and the camera on the 6 is worse... Too much white and loss of colors indoorsI was very dissatisfied with the consumer reports testing as it clearly didnt test the problematic weak point, quite a shocking difference.I'd love 2GB of RAM and whenever possible I like to double up on RAM, when building PC's I've been known to ram as much RAM (pun intended) as possible...maybe in a simple minded effort to just make things "better" but I've been using my rMBP which I only got 8GB of RAM for and compared to the 16GB RAM models its not insanely different...only difference is when I start doing INSANE things in video editing, I'm not talking about transcoding high res video I'm talking about doing some crazy ****** in After Effects and making the computer hot enough to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner....I don't think their is a whole lot on the iPhone 6 you can do that can push the RAM to the limit....I mean yeah opening a zillion tabs (which I am notorious for, I always have max tabs open) is one thing but I still find my phone to respond very well...all just not cool when i've paid 1K for an iPhone and cases and it had a kernel panic, must have been a bad chip, so weird as i mentioned it on my old mac book, when i wrote the thread - i think peeps from UK were posting thinking i could just pop over to a store, time difference, plus i was not sure if could store could even help b/c of stock issues..... what are the odds of 2 KP's esp one on an iPhone! It can be "excellent", but the difference in value between "excellent" and "flawless" usually amounts to less than the price of the case that was required to keep it flawless (and no one wants your old case lol...).But while it is a nice improvement, the 6+ promises to be a radical difference.$60 less per month is great, but not great enough given the coverage difference, especially because the LTE per line drops to 1 GB (really not enough) in 2015.I saw really no difference in the 2 services tho I was worried when I would travel or go places because when you visit Tmobile they mention all the places it doesn't work that I never experienced when I was with verizon(awful awful customer service) or AT&T(ask to speak to a manager and you will get 2-4 free months of service).Nothing really I have my wifi and Bluetooth on, but I turned off most the the location services I don't need and left only the ones I need like camera, find my iphone etc, with everything thing on I should get close to 7-9 hours, but to be honest I mostly used it so far for normal usage, no map usage today such as Waze, it drains battery power like mad, I'll post update lasted tomorrow after using Waze to show the difference in battery power.Maybe horrible was too harsh of a word for it but there really is a big difference. Some iPhone 5's have pretty erratic wifi behavior, upgrading my router made a huge difference, was long overdue anyway.
3g
Trust me, I had to work for it, I was considering selling the 3G iPhone last week on ebay for few bucks if it was worth that much...until I saw the Best Buy ad, the first day I went there they wouldn't take it, so I reached out @ their social media site and they gave me a $100 GC (being mailed), then I went back the following day back to Best Buy and they finally took my iPhone 3G 8GB and gave me $100 for it and also took my iPhone 5 for $180, I was super happy with it.Replacement ok. IPhone 3GS - perfect iPhone 4 - perfect iPhone 4 white - perfect iPhone 4s - perfect iPhone 5- perfect iPhone 5s - perfect then lost on holiday, replacement, perfect iPhone 6 Plus - perfect iPad 2 3G - perfect iPad 3 3G - perfect until about 8 months old, 1 inch line of dead pixels.Maybe I'm too picky, but I have never seen a phone that is 100% perfect and I'm talking about every generation since iPhone 3G.With 3G on Verizon thanks to EvDO sucking massively in comparison to UMTS with all the fancy HSPA upgrades I'm happy if I get over 1.05!3G is great and LTE has been amazing. You won't find anywhere that I said Sprint was great and that 3G service was wonderful.iPhone 3G - perfect iPhone 4 - perfect iPhone 4S - perfect iPad 1st gen. - perfect iPad 2 - perfect iPad 3 - Multiple display issues, multiple returns, sold for iPad mini iPad mini - perfect iPhone 5 - 1st one damaged, second acceptable Now this.3G sucks big time on Sprint but if you are in a LTE area like I am then it's really nice speed and unlimited data wise.I love the phone, the screen is very sharp and vivid, the camera (now that it is working, lol) is great and it is super fast (compared to my 3G).And also given that most of their customers are moving to 3G UMTS network their other GPRS/EDGE network isn't getting much traffic so its perfect for all that extra space to be used with Chatr.Thought I posted in here, well if I did this is another post lol Glad I'm not the only weirdo :P I love the iPhone 3G, never had one but I remember wanting one so bad when iPhone was AT&T only.VZW: Pro's: VoLTE Better LTE coverage Con's: Horrible International Rates/Plans VoLTE speeds seem to be slower than 3G for many (still early though) Terrible Customer Service Tons of "extra's" popping up AT&T: Pro's: GSM Voice+Data - 4G, not LTE, but seems faster than VZW's VoLTE Best International Plans Con's: Abysmal LTE coverage I've found both carriers to be fairly equal with dropped calls, my concerns are international rates, VoLTE on VZW, AT&T's LTE commitment.from best to worst in my opinion: 4/4S > 5/5S > original 2G > 6/6+ > 5C > 3G/3GS The plastic backs just don't do it for me, and the massive bulge of the 3G combined with the fake chrome rim around the front...ugh.I had black on the following models 2g 3g 3gs 4 Then on the 4s i switched to white...it definitely made something that was starting to feel stale a little more lifelike since the phone was getting stale itself.think twice about sprint, their the worst carrier in the states, very unfriendly towards consumers, harsh unlock policies, terrible 3G speeds (below 500kbps) you'll be better off with a MVNO using at&t infrastructure like a gsm version of straight talkWhat's ironic is that, because of the original iPhone with no 3G, AT&T had to spend months backfitting their system for a higher speed EDGE so the new Apple device wouldn't look pitiful running at 59 Kbps.Loved the iPhone 3G and I upgraded too the Samsung Galaxy S, it had pretty awesome specs but Android apps where not good at the time, and the OS although feature rich was ugly. It's also not uncommon to see areas that only have 1-2 bars of LTE coverage, which is weird, because if you switch your phone back to 3G, Verizon rarely has coverage under 4 bars. The 1900mhz 3G penetrates buildings worse than AWS and the coverage is less expansive. Those of us who went from original iPhone to 3G or 3GS were surprised how cheap and plasticky it felt (combined with the lighter weight), along with the worse build quality. As far as Sprint's 3G speeds being abysmal in all areas, that claim is inaccurate.Yup, no point making a nice phone such as an iPhone 5 a brick on T-Mobile's horrendous 3G network running on 1900 MHz.I have been a T-Mobile iPhone user for about a three years now..at first i had to deal with the terrible speed of EDGE since the iPhone is not built to run on T-Mobile's network..about two months ago i was finally able to get 3G on my iPhone 5 thanks to T-Mobile's attempt to upgrade their network to be able to drag more iPhone users to join their network...I'll admit at first i was really excited about this but after two weeks of 3G coming in and out, weak signal, dropping calls i finally said i've had enough, my iPhone would drop from 3G to EDGE at random times and even go NO SERVICE!!I already tried to get used to the no surf and talk while on data and the annoying "multiple calls" thing when you get another call while being on one, it says multiple, if you hang up with one, the other goes away and rings you back, beyond weird, i realize this is a CDMA thing along w/ super slow 3g when LTE is not avail.Worse battery life i've had out of the 3 charges but this time ive been at work where signal is worse so hense battery dropping quicker. No 3G coverage at work.Obviously you will get worse battery life on 3G or LTE..point is people were getting worse battery life before even on wifi...thats the point of posting the differences.I just sold my 3G.. very sad to see the bad boy go.. Now i gotta wait for the i4My phone is a 3G not the 3gS Ability to transfer data via bluetooth (admittedly, i don't use bluetooth that often but it would be nice to have the ability to do so) 5 items on the dock instead of 4 (i had my phone jailbroken for awhile -not anymore- and really loved that option) Ability to open .ICS events natively especially when I'm traveling and my phone is the only option for email checking (i do not have an exchange account or mobileme) Flash (yeah, i know, extremely unrealistic given Jobs' comments about Flash not terribly long ago) An earlier post mentioned a drop-down on the home screen for wi-fi options, i.e, the same function available on the Mac desktop.I also loved that mockup, I was actually disappointed when the 3g was announced, it looked bad by comparison.

ways
I know that apple tested these phones 15,000 different ways, with sophisticated equipment, and are smart enough to know releasing a device that 'bent in your pocket under normal wear' would be a poor move for them, I just dont think they would do that, and I believe their testing facility is fully capable of recreating whatever circumstances alleged bender victims have hypothesized.Exactly why I ordered the 6+, I knew I'd regret the 6 if I hadn't Could be one of the most hilarious and awesome ways to show the size, love it!I'm far from perfect and can be quite the utter pain in many ways but I think I've got this one down and so do most of my peers.Glad I kept my original 5S as it was perfect in all other ways.In some ways it's nice, because otherwise I'd be kind of glued to my phone like some people are, and that's really disrespectful in group settings..but that's a totally separate discussion topic. So, your false equivalence is still false and nothing here "goes both ways."I will probably stick with my LG G3 at this point, the 6+ is nice in some ways but it is not worth the hassle at all.We go on being obnoxious in our own unique ways because everyone is too darned scared to speak up and fear having the racist label shut down their free speech.i'm worried about the possibility that maybe my credit card was denied, and i have no ways to know about the situation Bad english skills alert on me!That's why I switched in 2011 after insane dropped calls around my new home and the awful dead zones both ways I go to work.My 5S had the annoying resistive click when I pushed it certain ways, most frequently when I pressed it in the center and it made it really annoying to double press for multitasking but I am pleased to say that after close to 2 weeks usage it is now performing like it has on all the past iPhones.

Calls sound great, iOS 8 seems to work fantastically, browses great, and the regular web sites look good (after a simple pull down on the web page to load them...thanks iOS8) on this size phone.Calls sound great, iOS 8 seems to work fantastically (outside of some skins of apps not loading all the time), browses great, and the regular web sites look good (after a simple pull down on the web page to load them...thanks iOS8) on this size phone.Calls sound great, iOS 8 seems to work fantastically (outside of some skins of apps not loading all the time), browses great, and the regular web sites look good (after a simple pull down on the web page to load them...thanks iOS8) on this size phone.Very happy with the 64GB 6 I got except Wish I got the 128GB due to lack of space for my photos hopefully iCloud Photo Library will fix this when it launches properly other wise very happy customer with the bigger screen better for web browsing and messagingDidn't think this new design would be a big deal, but damn the tapered glass edges sure feel nice when swiping forward and back between web pages and whatnotWhile watching videos and surfing Web would be great on it - everyday use I think I will be happy with my "small" 6.All of us who got up before 3 am in the eastern time zone, sat around refreshing the web site for over 2 hours, and couldn't go to a carrier site or the app because we are T-Mobile customers, and then finally gave up and went to bed, and then later woke up and found the shipping times were late October, deserve some kind of acknowledgement.I just think there's something amazing about seeing the world evolve from a place where phones were huge plastic boxes that were attached to the wall with a wire and computers were the whole floor of a city block and only NASA and the IRS had them to today where we're debating whether a SIX OUNCE computer that's about 70mm thick, no bigger than a checkbook, can process MILLIONS of times more data than those old machines, is a still and video camera, a photo editor, a phone, a text messager, a Web browser, a motion sensor, a game system, includes a built in monitor, a rechargable battery that will power it all day and a high definition screen... is too big to fit in our pockets when we bend over to tie our shoes. But web browsing and texting, etc on the beautiful android 5" screens is amazing! You agree not to misuse the Service or Device, including but not limited to: (a) reselling or rebilling our Service; nexus
Even though I prefer Android overall (and the Nexus 6 is impressive), some things about the iPhone (fast AF, 240fps slow-mo, laminated screen, and generally the sleek form factor) are just really beautiful.I'm excited for my 6+ and was lucky enough get a preordered Nexus 6 so it will continue for me as the ship date for the nexus is 11/21.The perfect form factor for a carry-in-your pocket phone is the Nexus 5 - a great Android phone. Its kind of funny a 5.5 inch phone is almost as tall as the new 6.2 inch Nexus 6 lol.To be honest the LED notification light on the Nexus 5 is nice. Now I know why I tried a Nexus 5 and HTC One over the past few years The 6 Plus - awesome screen, amazing camera, and killer battery life - simply perfect (for me).I had the 1st gen Moto X 4.7", then accidentally destroyed it and had to get the Nexus 5, which was almost perfect size wise, and think the 5.2" 2nd gen Moto X will be perfect for me.The bigger screen of the Nexus 4 was and still is beautiful to me, the freedom to change keyboards was a big thing and swipe to type is an amazing feature.Google's Nexus 5 is a great little device with the best version of Android, but the battery life is atrocious. The Nexus 5 has an amazing feel in the hand and a great screen. To be honest the nexus is a very good tablet, and KitKat is not bad.The Nexus 5 for me has been great, it was my first 4G phone (London) and signal is great, battery was a bit meh but I wiped my phone and has since doubled, the camera is good enough, the 4.2.2 update fixed the slow focusing.*hey let's post about my nice wonderful fast, reliable brand new Nexus 5 smartphone running Google's mobile operating system Android 4.4.2 KitKat...in a thread about iPhone fingerprint sensor* Just seems desperately out of place to me, that's all.My absolute all time favorite is my stellar Nexus 5.At this point though I know I'm a Nexus guy so being they are off-contract cheap, I'm not too worried or concerned. The 6 Plus considerably outperforms the Note 4, it gets noticeably better on screen frame rate in games and 3D applications then the Note 4(which also translate to smoother UI performance and stuff like that, there is no reason why the Note 4 stutters and lags in native phone app when scrolling and just scrolling through the home screen) There are tons of demonstrations and benchmarks that clearly show the 6 Plus is the better performer, both off screen/on screen results, it isnt a comparison Nexus 6 suffers from terribly slow read/write speeds due to the FDE in Lollipop, and also Lollipop is completly bug ridden right now You can mention Facebook as a indicator because alot of Android apps still lag and are pretty ******, alot of apps share in common with the Facebook app in terms of performance, its abysmal and sad, the worse GPU/CPU performance and worse battery life is why i went with the 6 Plus over the Note 4 You must of missed or are intentionally deluding/blocking your self out from all the real world/benchmark results that showed the 6 Plus beating the Note 4 about a month ago (Anandtech, few others reporting this ) Hey, Apple is doing something really right though if it offers better performance then the current smartphone competition right now though (better GPU/CPU performance then the 805) and also offers better battery life then current Snapdragon 805 offerings People complain about the "RAM " issue on iOS devices meanwhile Android devices with 2-3x more RAM are still reloading and refreshing applications just as much if not more then iOS devices....oh Android fans...the ironyEspecially with how the Nexus 6 apparently has a questionable screen and meh battery life, which was my intended purchase, also availability is as bad as the iphone 6+ currently hah.And that same Nexus 4 had a worse camera, worse screen, worse performance (CPU and GPU), worse battery life, didn't have iMessage, didn't have apps as good as iOS, didn't have as good accessories and many more things...Went in to Telecom to upgrade my Samsung galaxy nexus to a Samsung galaxy s5 and was sooooooooo disgusted at the horrible cheap nasty imitation plastic chrome edge and nasty plastic case that I got the iphone 5s instead. But my relatives using nexus 4 complain of bad battery life and I've read bad reviews about camera of nexus 5.Honestly, there are times I wish my iPhone 5 was larger(when I'm awake, walking around) and there are times when I find it too big(when I'm lying in bed, on my side, trying to hold it with one hand at a weird angle) Over all I don't miss the Nexus Galaxy I had(screen size wise) I don't have any problem with Apple allowing more choices in their line up.
