Moving all that into a 500gb icloud drive was the only smart move for me.I agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GBVery happy with the 64GB 6 I got except Wish I got the 128GB due to lack of space for my photos hopefully iCloud Photo Library will fix this when it launches properly other wise very happy customer with the bigger screen better for web browsing and messaging- Reworked UI with trendy nonsense out and haute design in again; - Ability to choose default apps; - iCloud and Apple Maps that are at least as good as Google's services; - Some kind of widgets/dashboard/"Now" screen; - Some kind of a user-friendly take on file management; - Swype-esque keyboard; - Quality onboard speaker; - Usable iTunes sync functionality on Windows; - More wear-resistant case.I log onto Icloud Find my Iphone, and can se that the phone is moving quite fast about a mile away and moving closer to where the police is.I was very angry at the time - i didn't call apple or anyone ranting or angry about it btw lol - but it still bugs me sometimes and i still have the iphone on my icloud list,so sometimes i remember about it.Maybe both batteries were just bad, maybe something with my iCloud account was corrupt or there was some other unresolved issue, I don't know, but that was the reality I had.I wish HTC would concentrate on quality as well, HTC ONE is a beautiful phone but it needs work to become better...not hardware wise, but software wise...HTC too can create a ecosystem of its own that utilizes simple things like an iCloud competitor....or even start going with Ubuntu EDGE!Contrary to my previous post after only 24hrs with phone and pathetic battery life.... Once fully restored, backed up on iCloud and second full charge to 100%, the current status since last full charge is: Usage: 3 hours 54 mins (approx 4 hours) Standby: 17 hours 41 mins Battery remaining: 50%.I might not have been so eager to switch had Google not gotten rid of their EAS option, but since they did I didn't have much heartburn about moving my services to iCloud, especially after I bought a MacBook.

If moving a PDF or movie MP4 via iTunes vexes me, I definitely wouldn't be confident enough to do the root.Much better camera, better apps, seamless integration with my iPad Mini, and of course, seamless iTunes integration.I've purchased iPhones for as long as they've been out there, sung the praises of Apple to the mountaintops, and slowly filled my home with Macbook, iMac, multiple iPads and iPods, not to mention spent $1000s in music in iTunes...and there's the rub, it's because I've been such a loyal customer, accustomed to wonderful and rapid service, that this botched rollout has raised my ire, this is not what I'm accustomed to with Apple, and galling is a great description of my feelings at present.I agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GBiTunes radio kind of sucks to be honest.- Reworked UI with trendy nonsense out and haute design in again; - Ability to choose default apps; - iCloud and Apple Maps that are at least as good as Google's services; - Some kind of widgets/dashboard/"Now" screen; - Some kind of a user-friendly take on file management; - Swype-esque keyboard; - Quality onboard speaker; - Usable iTunes sync functionality on Windows; - More wear-resistant case. All of the guides I'm finding on the web are assuming my iTunes content is stored in the default location (it isn't) or involve a bunch of weird steps involving adding fake calendar events or messing around with plist files. This: It would also be my LAST iDevice and also the worst digital audio player I've ever come across; poor sound, forced use of iTunes, limited to EQ presets (no 5 band EQ) and worst of all it had an absolutely MISERABLE battery.I have an extremely shoddy internet connection right now (just moved and mine isn't setup yet), so when I remembered that iTunes had to connect to the internet for the restore, I was a bit worried.

Havent had any apps "reload on me" while using them and in app performance is extremely superb and great, playing Vainglory/asphalt 8 on the 6 Plus looks absolutely stunning and runs flawless tooThe leap from the 5S to the 6 didnt feel like too much of a change really at all besides few obvious welcome changes, but I have switched since to the 6 Plus from the 6, and I have to say the Plus is absolutely incredible and feels like a major big upgrade to iPhone(the screen and battery on the Plus is simply just absolutely fantastic and dramatically better then what Apple has ever offered in the past) and that going to the 6 Plus from the 6 alone feels like a awesome nice upgrade and from the 5s to the 6 Plus is defitnetly absolutely a big difference and feel and change and feels like a very awesome upgrade Keep it, by February 2015 all apps and app updates submitted have to have 64 bit support, which means 35-40% speed boost increase in apps that dont use 64 bit code (plenty to name that dont use 64 bit code yet ; Netflix, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube , Google Maps, bunch others) so roughly around 30% speed boost increase for 5S and 35-40% faster applications for 6/6 Plus for Touch ID my advice and tip to you is register your same finger twice in Touch ID, it makes it tons more accurate and much more consistent and essentially works "perfect" for me after doing this trick, try it Lastly download a good camera app like Camera+, it really does make a difference..Maybe I'm being a bit cynical but it feels a bit like a ploy for you to lose track of time while browsing the store or possibly fit more (paid) apps on the page.I am beyond sure as apps get optimized and iOS gets further updated and streamlined, the Plus is more then capable of running at 60 fps constant no lag, iOS 8 is defitnetly rushed out the door a bit...but it is also the biggest iOS update ever with over 4000 new API's ...i am sure they will fix performance and that stuttering, and also all app submissions by February 2015 need to be 64 bit capable, that alone right there switching the app from 32-bit to 64-bit gives a 10% performance increase right off the bat from the use of extra registers of the CPU(so next year we will get very nice performance gains as apps start getting 64 bit capable) Anyways going off topic a bit lol, but I agree the Plus is defitnetly the first iPhone at launch that wasn't 100% perfectly smooth with those options turned off(stock) A little bit suprising but, by no means is it slow in apps or performance wise at all, it is a very fast phone in operation, just animation stutters and sputters and tab reloadingBut think about only one thing: if Apple could add a micro sd slot or a proprietary type of card for the iPhone and lock them only for the music this would be a great business.... Be honest 16 gb are enough for anything but music, videos photos and apps are very well fitted in the 16 gb space...Did that and the apps were updated, after a short while. The funny thing is that instead of showing 'Open' beside every updated app in the updates section of the App Store,it shows 'Update'.I've confirmed that the apps were updated (compared the latest version in the App Store and on my phone, they were the same). Not that it actually affects anything but i just find it weird.they are on pace for 6 hours of usage which is not bad with so much Angry Birds, most people with 8 hours of usage do not have a game in their top 5 appsThe 2 of 500+ iOS apps I haven't been able to find Android equivalents of is: - Awesome Note - a brilliant iOS app that makes Evernote or Google Drive look great - Period Planner - a fertility planner iOS app.Much better camera, better apps, seamless integration with my iPad Mini, and of course, seamless iTunes integration.SO we get good, great, fair, and finally JUNK apps that put junk on our computers / SMART PHONES (mini computers). The display is amazing and will be great once Apps are updated for it.Believe me, your app developers want nothing more than to make awesome apps taking advantage of all the latest awesome hardware and software. But for apps that don't, like magazines and journals, the problem is, unlike the iPad, which is more "square" and the pages of magazines fit the whole iPad screen, the narrower iPhone 6/6 Plus doesn't fill the whole screen to fit the page on most magazines and such.I've got tons of great music (sequenced playlists - streaming is not the end all for music lovers), movies, pod-casts, loads of great apps, photos and videos on mine (128GB) and still have 52GB free.I'm just one tiny little insignificant developer, but I'll guarantee this, if it's got a nobody such as myself so excited and brimming with ideas already then you can bet that the big developers will have some stunning improvements and unique features for their apps that will quite simply only be possible on the iPhone 6+.Say I'm refreshing Facebook, it just kind of sits there a while, other apps as well.Calls sound great, iOS 8 seems to work fantastically (outside of some skins of apps not loading all the time), browses great, and the regular web sites look good (after a simple pull down on the web page to load them...thanks iOS8) on this size phone.I agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - Ability to choose default apps; - iCloud and Apple Maps that are at least as good as Google's services; - Some kind of widgets/dashboard/"Now" screen; - Some kind of a user-friendly take on file management; - Swype-esque keyboard; - Quality onboard speaker; - Usable iTunes sync functionality on Windows; - More wear-resistant case.Mine is pretty great, I'm a moderate user and never close apps I'm getting easily full day sometimes more.I am confident a software fix will come in the long run but my feeling is at worst case scenario apple will ask/make it mandatory for app developers (apps which require gyro/accelerometers) to include re-calibration tools at the setup of the apps.in the meantime I found a workable solution with callback services and dedicated apps. That's the down side... but since I can't pull the apps out once they are in, I'm kind of glad there is a way to get the apps out.2) SIM Swap Trick - Google it and watch Youtube Video's - Very easy to do as long as you be patient 3) Use a tool I think such as iPhone configuration utility...(I cannot provide feedback/support for MMS setup as I don't use it since I have no need for it thanks to all the great apps like iMessage & Whatsapp) If/When more/better plans become available I will be sure to add them to the list, If you know of a great carrier/plan(s) that are better than what I listed then be sure to let me know As for feedback, those of you concerned Check my eBay accounts: and See my Threads on the forum:Page two: All the nice looking icons of the apps I use often / daily :P Page three: The other nice looking icons (the apps I din't use as often in folders) I only have Real Racing 2 and Infinity Blade because I don't play games that oftenOnly in some apps mind you, like navigation apps you see much less on the iPhone and you get some weird banding display issues that make the map fairly ugly.1gb of RAM in this year on a device that is this high priced is horrible, especially when the Air 2 got 2gb of RAM and the amount of apps and tabs held in the background are far more than this paltry 1gb horribleness. So yeah, I'm still very unhappy with the 1GB of RAM and the fact that lots of apps still aren't optimised for the screen, but it's a very nice phone. The 6 Plus considerably outperforms the Note 4, it gets noticeably better on screen frame rate in games and 3D applications then the Note 4(which also translate to smoother UI performance and stuff like that, there is no reason why the Note 4 stutters and lags in native phone app when scrolling and just scrolling through the home screen) There are tons of demonstrations and benchmarks that clearly show the 6 Plus is the better performer, both off screen/on screen results, it isnt a comparison Nexus 6 suffers from terribly slow read/write speeds due to the FDE in Lollipop, and also Lollipop is completly bug ridden right now You can mention Facebook as a indicator because alot of Android apps still lag and are pretty ******, alot of apps share in common with the Facebook app in terms of performance, its abysmal and sad, the worse GPU/CPU performance and worse battery life is why i went with the 6 Plus over the Note 4 You must of missed or are intentionally deluding/blocking your self out from all the real world/benchmark results that showed the 6 Plus beating the Note 4 about a month ago (Anandtech, few others reporting this ) Hey, Apple is doing something really right though if it offers better performance then the current smartphone competition right now though (better GPU/CPU performance then the 805) and also offers better battery life then current Snapdragon 805 offerings People complain about the "RAM " issue on iOS devices meanwhile Android devices with 2-3x more RAM are still reloading and refreshing applications just as much if not more then iOS devices....oh Android fans...the ironyIf after you have tried A. wipe and restore B. wipe and set up as a new iPhone C. LOADED very little apps (after you did B) for a few days to make sure one of your favorite apps is not causing the issue (due to it not being happy with the OS or the developer screwed up, they are human).I found myself not downloading apps because I was worried about running out of space, and also got tired of the white face.Yep ... the 6 is a lovely design .... but i have to say ... i have a silver 5 sat on my desk waiting for its new owner and its still a lovely feeling phone But the 6 is so thin ... kinda crazy but its a slippery bugger when its naked (i used a slip-case for protection but as it comes in use) Can't wait till apps are resized properly .... most of my daily-driver apps are still scaled but the ones updated look good.I was told to setup as new, which I've already tried Interesting thing though - he said that these apps are having problems, so I am going to try a fresh restore again, downloading the firmware again as well, as he seems to think it is corrupt (the firmware): backboardd, com.apple.WebKit, SpringBoard From my jailbreaking days, I know that backboardd is an integral daemon that runs along side springboard, which is also corrupt, per the tech Will restore as new tonight and report back tomorrow afternoon Let us know what they say! What's annoying is to carry both iPad and iPhone the same time and then later on during the day leaving iPad in the car when stopped for a diner at some place and realising damn I need the bigger screen when you start browsing net and apps while waiting for food.Another thing that kinda annoyed me is the scaling situation, instead of running apps at 1920x1080 it runs them at 2208 x 1242 and then downsamples it to 1920x1080 so it's not pixel perfect but more importantly its even further burdening the graphics hardware making it render things at an even higher resolution and then compounding that with scaling.Thse blown-up apps are ugly - and it's annoying and frustrating. The thing is I'm not going to notice little things such as some apps look fuzzy (not optimized yet hopefully), photos look fuzzy on the edges, back text is crooked, glass is partially separated in one spot, screen is yellow, etc etc without using my own for hours or a day or 2 so just looking at one for a few min isn't going to help aside from getting an overall picture of yes this looks great or not.On Apple apps it looks great but developers need to hurry up and update their ****, because it's their apps are hideous zoomed inMost apps look terrible upsize and one hand use is awkward.I have a few apps like stratus that never updated to the 4' screen, lazy devs lol Hopefully they adjust faster with the new iPhone, the worst was with the retina display !My note 3 has been very problematic with apps crashing, bloatware, mysterious battery drain etc.And that same Nexus 4 had a worse camera, worse screen, worse performance (CPU and GPU), worse battery life, didn't have iMessage, didn't have apps as good as iOS, didn't have as good accessories and many more things...Seriously apps on Windows look tired, old, abandoned, boring much like Linux apps did 5-7 years ago when people were banging that drum.I've never owned a recent iPhone (the iPhone 4 was the last version that I owned) but in my experience all iPhones have been very laggy in opening apps, and especially bad at answering phone calls (many times the call ends before I can make the dumb "slide to answer" thingy actually work. The title bars looked nice in bold, but didn't like how it looked in apps.I use my wife's 5S, and the extra screen space seems superfluous to me (granted, in iOS 7 they made some apps worse on the 3.5" screen - like the calendar app - but they didn't have to do that). They will mostly likely do both, launch app and have it float in the middle of the screen with black bars surrounding and then a stretch to fill screen option like the iPad, honestly the stretch wouldn't look bad since when the iPad did it to the 3.5 inch iPhone apps it still looked ok, I doubt a .7inch increase would be horrible.Loved the iPhone 3G and I upgraded too the Samsung Galaxy S, it had pretty awesome specs but Android apps where not good at the time, and the OS although feature rich was ugly.So essentially nothing as drastic as all Google apps being bad like that and even worse than other apps that would provide similar services if one chooses to use them and allows for the relevant permissions. There are lots of AMAZING apps for Android, but it's a system where it's not uncommon for apps to only be really built for a small range of devices. But after having two 5s phones I can say the battery on this one, with more battery saving changes made (no background apps refreshing, screen brightness down, etc), is way worse.

I would be happy if they made the new phone thicker to include a bigger battery and bigger Camera lens to improve low light photos I am very happy with the current 6 design and will probably get the plus version next timeTook some great pics with the phone and when we got home, after texting the cute photos of our girl in costume, I ran to the store while my wife put our girl to sleep.Happy "taking your camera out on a nice day and taking awesome photos" to everyoneBut think about only one thing: if Apple could add a micro sd slot or a proprietary type of card for the iPhone and lock them only for the music this would be a great business.... Be honest 16 gb are enough for anything but music, videos photos and apps are very well fitted in the 16 gb space...So far, things I prefer about the 5.5 On-screen keyboard size The resolution of the display, fit much more on screen and photos look awesome The physical finish of the device, better than the 4.7 Stuff I prefer about the 4.7 More compact Easier one handed use Minor but noticeably better performance.I've got tons of great music (sequenced playlists - streaming is not the end all for music lovers), movies, pod-casts, loads of great apps, photos and videos on mine (128GB) and still have 52GB free. We've seen the photos taken from Apple - looking perfect, great lighting set-up.I agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GBVery happy with the 64GB 6 I got except Wish I got the 128GB due to lack of space for my photos hopefully iCloud Photo Library will fix this when it launches properly other wise very happy customer with the bigger screen better for web browsing and messagingI had exhibited my photos even made with my iPhone 4, so creativity is more important then anything (I have a nice DSLR with pro lenses for sharp, micro... images if I need features such as IS)... Now, I hold my 6 confidently, easely (I even have lond fingers), descretely if I want, screen size is perfect, nice for photo viewing, navigation, browsing internet, traveling to other places and speaking/making photos without drawing too much attention... Will defenately chose the same size the next time.Going to take my 6 plus in because my photos are terrible, but my mothers 6 plus takes gorgeous ones. The screen is amazing, photos are gorgeous, it's massive.. Can be hard to handle at times, but I know I'll get used to it!I am kind of glad that the 8MP stayed... the dimensions are just fine and the file size won't increase... unlike the quality of the photos.Having just come back from vacation, and looking at my photos, compared to what photos I saw on someone's S5 during that vacation, the difference is astounding, the S5 takes such amazing photos. This means that the iPhone 5S is the only phone worth using to take photos indoors, and in my experience the only one that gives worthwhile results.I discovered this when I was moving photos to my cloud drive but the app was just caching the photos and expanding the app, defeating the purpose of moving to the cloud. The sensor has to be bigger other wise you are just taking photos that take up more precious storage due to the larger file size.Like I said, the HTC One captures brilliant photos that are full-screen in both orientations, and they look great.- improved battery life (charging every day after heavy use is not a problem but a tad annoying) - lighter/sturdier design - live streaming - ability to create folders for photos on the phone - ability to cut/paste photos into new folders - free navigation if it looked like this I would be pretty happyI got so tired of taking photos using that small screen and then trying to process those photos on that tiny screen was even worse.Terrible, terrible photos out of this phone.Besides, nudes or not, it is kind of creepy that you are so desperate to get photos of a girl you are not even dating. No easy fix tape blurs photos I think this is very bad and sad ,maybe iPhone should state needs case immediately will break without warning since camera protrudes. The thing is I'm not going to notice little things such as some apps look fuzzy (not optimized yet hopefully), photos look fuzzy on the edges, back text is crooked, glass is partially separated in one spot, screen is yellow, etc etc without using my own for hours or a day or 2 so just looking at one for a few min isn't going to help aside from getting an overall picture of yes this looks great or not.Bear in mind that photos of these type of screen protectors on a white iPhone (like above) will make it look worse as the light refracts against the White glass screen and makes the edges look really bad.I tried some wallpapers which look nice in the photos app but when set as wallpaper, not so appealing because of shadowing.I'm not sure what kind of case I'll get-probably an invisishield for the front/back and possibly a bumper-although I hate cases on phones I'm a bit paranoid with all the broken glass photos popping up.

I went into settings, safari (my phone browser), selected advanced, then website data, then remove all website data (at the bottom) and the discs went away, I don't think I lost any of my saved passwords or anything that I wanted to keep probably just cached pages to help sites load faster, but the discs annoyed me so I was happy they went away. Also the battery life on the 6 Plus is amazing, you need to adjust some settings for optimal battery life, these links will help...There are mounds more settings in iOS (which can be overwhelming at first) but you get more control over what you want to control such as fine grained notification control, permissions management and a smart backup solution.Going into accessibility settings and toggling Reduce Motion and Increase Contrast to on seemed to make it more tolerable performance wise.Definitely getting worse (but not terrible) battery life out of my 5 compared to my 4 under exactly the same settings and usage. In some ways it's nice, because otherwise I'd be kind of glued to my phone like some people are, and that's really disrespectful in group settings..but that's a totally separate discussion topic.yeah but that lag in your video is very serious and clearly seems to be something mechanically defective in your device if that is common, I came from a 6 to a 6 plus and the 6 plus is just as buttery smooth fast as the 6 that i came from, with no lag or stutters for me ever I also have TLC nand memory, which is suppose to be the worse NAND that causes some people issues but i myself have had no issues at all with it Try a hard reset (home and lock button until screen turns off completely) and also try turning on Reduce transparency in accessbility in general in settingsyeah but that lag in your video is very serious and clearly seems to be something mechanically defective in your device if that is common, I came from a 6 to a 6 plus and the 6 plus is just as buttery smooth fast as the 6 that i came from, with no lag or stutters for me ever I also have TLC nand memory, which is suppose to be the worse NAND that causes some people issues but i myself have had no issues at all with it Try a hard reset (home and lock button until screen turns off completely) and also try turning on Reduce transparency in accessbility in general in settingsWorst case scenario, you find the backup problematic, you erase all content and settings and setup phone as new.In every case excluding maybe a rare extremely god awful console port pc settings maxed out blow consoles out of the water, those kind of graphics are not applicable to consoles, they at aren't powerful enough, no amount of optimization will fix that.I'm seeing it and it is worse than terrible... iPhone 6 speedtest (after resetting network settings): 0.01 d/l 3.35 u/l AWFUL.

contacts
I had added emoticons to some of my favorite contacts because it looked cute and of course these are the people who text me often and vice versa.iPhone 6 works great with Toyota Prius 2010-- music, phone, contacts perfect. You will need to open your iPhone 5s to be able to view the volume button contacts, and slide something (I used a tiny piece of paper ) inside the gap that makes your volume keys jiggle.... You will need a pentalobular screwdriver (the one that was required to open the iPhone 5) and a suction cup (the kind that you stick on windows and mirror)... just follow the couple of steps on iFixIt website: It worked for me... you must not be scared of opening your iPhone, and be careful enough not to break any connection wires under the screen (read the above iFixIt link for more info) Unfortunately, if it's the power button you want to fix, you wont be able to do it my way My power button jiggles a tiny bit, but it's hardly noticeable... when the iphone was opened I noticed there was no way to properly see the button and gain access to itI am getting real tired of re-entering my contacts manually (mindless pass-time while waiting for trains) as no fixes or work around seem to work... icloud hopeless in restoring...- Manufacturing defects: bad lining/container, bad charging logic or circuitry, chemical breakdown of electrodes or charge material - Keys or other metal objects shorting contacts at the wrong place and at the wrong time - Excessive heat or voltage applied Batteries are serious business.

Mind you I had a 5 figure balance and no strange transactions (checks from clients coming in and money moving into my PayPal account to pay my staff abroad...Also, these kind of people probably are more likely the kind of people who pay attention to how secure a payment method is... and they aren't going to like that it wants bank account info.So - taking into account Apple deprecated the 64GB 5s model from now on, I've just immediately bought the 64GB iPhone 5s - while they are still present here in stores... And now - I'm REALLY happy with it: I've got the extremely convenient TouchID feature, better camera etc, all in lovely 4" size.I personally like the online reservation system and think that a great way to make it work better for the end user is to require a cellphone account of some kind.Looks like I got lucky and got a CSR that was happy to credit the account without asking a lot of questions. We have 2 iPhone 5 and 2 iPhone 5s on our account and we pretty much don't have to repay 6 months worth of subsidy on the 5 and 18 months worth of subsidy on the 5s.My coworker let me borrow one of his lines and test AT&T because I told him my test with my Verizon iPhone last month was an epic fail Turns out this test was flawless at my home using his account So yesterday Verizon lost my 3 line account to AT&T- I had to get my iPhone 5s reprovisioned again which was the issue the last time and why service was so slow on AT&TThat means for my plan 20 gb of data goes from 200 a month to 150 and the smart phones each drop from 30 to 15 I have a total of 7 smart phones on my account.my buddy upgraded to a BB Bold in may 2009. then upgraded to a BB Bold 9700 in May 2010. he doesnt have a high revenue account, and now since they updated that eligibility checker it shows $159 pricing for him...I've had my 6+ since launch day, Sep. 19, and I was nervous when I pre-ordered at 3 am, I was nervous when I saw all of that money leave my account, and I was nervous when I saw the huge box.But like the Best Buy method and other weird workarounds that have been working for 2+ years, they don't care or it's not worth their time to fix whatever computer code is allowing a few people to renew their unlimited data plans or add a line or 2 to their account.hey guys ive had my iphone 6 for a week now and i have ios 8.0.2 installed on it, and the battery life is just terrible, i have background app refresh completely off, email push is off and my email account is set to manual instead of fetch, i can't figure out why its so bad, i mean if i dont use the phone then the battery holds up i guess but if i use it to browse facebook or just play a game or whatever it is drainging really quickly.. i also have notifications turned off for nearly every app other than messages and facetime.. i cant figure out whats causing the drainage.. i have my brightness set to 1/4 of the full brightness as well so its not my brightness. With the FCC unlocking policy changing effective Feb 2015 (although not retroactive) and the overturning of the insane law that made unlocking phones from outside the provider illegal I would go ahead and get it fully unlocked from one of those websites....Sprint are insane with their strict UICC SIM card being locked to the phone and only allow one unlock per account per year....I mean God knows they need it since their company sucks, I hope this changes because even though I didn't like Sprint's past and current service and deployment plan the new CEO is really changing things up to a more sensible solution.Glad I'm not the only one - I was worried something was wrong with my account.Just checked my email and I got an email from att @ 8:03( just saw it now) talking about a change with my account ( got nervous) followed the link it took me to my account ( weird).Got an email from AT&T though reviewing my plan and telling me stuff for my account, but who knows....happy for everyone in the group in shipping mode, feel bad for me, hahaIf you take into account that there are some fake answers on one end; also take into account that there are fake answers on the other side - Second, I don't think the problem is "the phone will bend in your pocket in your first couple of days of use", but "the phone will eventually bend in your pocket".The biggest issue is one can make an account with bogus information and just keep making accounts all day long once the next one is band (for malicious bidding activity).Ranting on twitter about the HORRIBLE UNACCEPTABLE customer service I have received with no resolution to my issue in sight, an AT&T rep responded and asked for my account details.Scammers have a lot of tricks from sending money from bad bank accounts that somehow clear into your account, to returning a different phone back and claiming you sent them a bad product, to just shipping back rocks AND PAYPAL SIDES 99% WITH BUYER NO MATER WHAT.Maybe both batteries were just bad, maybe something with my iCloud account was corrupt or there was some other unresolved issue, I don't know, but that was the reality I had.I figured something was up, so I did a mock edge upgrade, only to find my account locked for upgrading because my MEID didn't match the one on my agreement (my device had been replaced with Asurion and they gave me this awful S4 instead of a Moto X, unless I wanted to wait a month to get a functioning phone).Changing IPs is pretty easy to do When I log into my account, I DID see a few that said invalid (when I click on invalid it tells me why... "same computer").Christopher: We called about that before and the lady and her supervisor were so rude and unwilling to look into it, I was very close to closing the account all together, but my son actually convinced me not to because he loves your service Alfonso : I understood that and we appreciate you for staying with us.My phone is a 3G not the 3gS Ability to transfer data via bluetooth (admittedly, i don't use bluetooth that often but it would be nice to have the ability to do so) 5 items on the dock instead of 4 (i had my phone jailbroken for awhile -not anymore- and really loved that option) Ability to open .ICS events natively especially when I'm traveling and my phone is the only option for email checking (i do not have an exchange account or mobileme) Flash (yeah, i know, extremely unrealistic given Jobs' comments about Flash not terribly long ago) An earlier post mentioned a drop-down on the home screen for wi-fi options, i.e, the same function available on the Mac desktop. Also, if you take into account all the towers built by all the companies, coverage is obviously better than the hopeless task of any one company trying to do it all and consumers having the choice only of bad options, as it is now.

The 6 Plus considerably outperforms the Note 4, it gets noticeably better on screen frame rate in games and 3D applications then the Note 4(which also translate to smoother UI performance and stuff like that, there is no reason why the Note 4 stutters and lags in native phone app when scrolling and just scrolling through the home screen) There are tons of demonstrations and benchmarks that clearly show the 6 Plus is the better performer, both off screen/on screen results, it isnt a comparison Nexus 6 suffers from terribly slow read/write speeds due to the FDE in Lollipop, and also Lollipop is completly bug ridden right now You can mention Facebook as a indicator because alot of Android apps still lag and are pretty ******, alot of apps share in common with the Facebook app in terms of performance, its abysmal and sad, the worse GPU/CPU performance and worse battery life is why i went with the 6 Plus over the Note 4 You must of missed or are intentionally deluding/blocking your self out from all the real world/benchmark results that showed the 6 Plus beating the Note 4 about a month ago (Anandtech, few others reporting this ) Hey, Apple is doing something really right though if it offers better performance then the current smartphone competition right now though (better GPU/CPU performance then the 805) and also offers better battery life then current Snapdragon 805 offerings People complain about the "RAM " issue on iOS devices meanwhile Android devices with 2-3x more RAM are still reloading and refreshing applications just as much if not more then iOS devices....oh Android fans...the irony

now i have to tap the screen to see if i missed something like one of those rude and annoying teens that cannot hold a conversation at a restaurant table and i hate myself for it lol i used to see "green" ah okay its a whatsapp text, ill answer it after dinner or white oh its an email from uni i better check that.I was excited to see mine said "Shipped" and then saw everyone getting the 24th, so it was kind of a let down when my email just showed up saying the 29th >.< Oh well. Now I kind of figure that despite getting an order through less than 25 mins after the pre-order was SUPPOSED to start(no matter that some were able to get through early, most of us were refreshing early like you, so please don't act like you had one over on us), since I haven't even gotten the "you're screwed we have no idea when you will get a phone" email, there is no end in sight.email around 4am, and then a "real" confirmation email at like 10am "Dear Paul, Great news!I'm kind of in that boat -- I do a lot of email and remote IT work, and a larger canvas, while still pocketable, is a great advantage.Where: AT&T.com iP6 Space Grey 64gb 9/19 My Order Status Email: Dear Jay, Great news!I'd love to see like the post above some form of waterproofing so that I'm not afraid to use my iPhone in the rain also and I've sent this suggestion to apple, a small translucent ring around the home button that has a pulsating ring of light for missed calls, messages, email etc if not then a led somewhere for the same purpose, a smart wifi option so it switches off once you leave your home wifi and will come back on once your home or it can remember where other wifi locations are and switch back on once you get to that area. You agree not to misuse the Service or Device, including but not limited to: (a) reselling or rebilling our Service; Im not saying that necessarily is desirable, but it really would help lessen some of the madness that is this "omg its next week" and the logistics that are involved and the insane it sells out in 1 minute stuff... received both my confirmation of processing and an email for the other reservation from when ATT couldnt verify...****** i highly suggest one card for express check out in app as the system gets really buggy + slow the more clicks you need to do, if any way to use one card i would try.....they state a gift card issued by credit card co but given the wording i would assume that it would be ok for two credit cards i know a lot of online merchants like the top dept stores will only allow one credit card but mutiple store gift cards, you may want to send a quick note under a different email just to confirm as apple is quite strict.... in worse case you could get the gift card from one of the credit cards and that will def work, good luck!My life's pretty boring so if someone wants to scope that I got another junk email about a pipe fitting catalog I'm just not too upset about that.My phone is a 3G not the 3gS Ability to transfer data via bluetooth (admittedly, i don't use bluetooth that often but it would be nice to have the ability to do so) 5 items on the dock instead of 4 (i had my phone jailbroken for awhile -not anymore- and really loved that option) Ability to open .ICS events natively especially when I'm traveling and my phone is the only option for email checking (i do not have an exchange account or mobileme) Flash (yeah, i know, extremely unrealistic given Jobs' comments about Flash not terribly long ago) An earlier post mentioned a drop-down on the home screen for wi-fi options, i.e, the same function available on the Mac desktop.

It happens with anything I send regardless if the photo is inappropriate or not (and they're not inappropriate).A couple of weeks ago my wife and I were enjoying a nice lunch out and I texted a photo to a friend of mine to let him know the restaurant we were at had his favorite beer on tap.My photo based system is great for organizing into nice little folders (edited). This caught my eye from one of them -- "The image stabilization provides a nice improvement in sharpness in low light, but Apple used it in a very smart way to also reduce the noise in the photo (slower shutter speed and capping the max ISO lower). It's not that noticeable - that photo exaggerates it quite a bit - but I am a bit annoyed considering this has been treated like some kind of precious relic!Very happy with the 64GB 6 I got except Wish I got the 128GB due to lack of space for my photos hopefully iCloud Photo Library will fix this when it launches properly other wise very happy customer with the bigger screen better for web browsing and messagingI had exhibited my photos even made with my iPhone 4, so creativity is more important then anything (I have a nice DSLR with pro lenses for sharp, micro... images if I need features such as IS)... Now, I hold my 6 confidently, easely (I even have lond fingers), descretely if I want, screen size is perfect, nice for photo viewing, navigation, browsing internet, traveling to other places and speaking/making photos without drawing too much attention... Will defenately chose the same size the next time.Great photo - genuinely gives someone like me a better reference (I can fit my 8 year old daughter's gloves).. Not sure when I'll next be able to get near a store to see one - at this rate my pre-order mid October will show up before I get there!I just think there's something amazing about seeing the world evolve from a place where phones were huge plastic boxes that were attached to the wall with a wire and computers were the whole floor of a city block and only NASA and the IRS had them to today where we're debating whether a SIX OUNCE computer that's about 70mm thick, no bigger than a checkbook, can process MILLIONS of times more data than those old machines, is a still and video camera, a photo editor, a phone, a text messager, a Web browser, a motion sensor, a game system, includes a built in monitor, a rechargable battery that will power it all day and a high definition screen... is too big to fit in our pockets when we bend over to tie our shoes.I've experienced the erroneous "pic not sent" message or whatever it says but also sometimes while I'm typing it will insert a random pic from my photo album in the message which is annoying but not a big deal but a hassle on that tiny little keyboard.Taking a nice picture of a flower in well lit conditions is probably the most easy "great" photo anyone can take. The weird thing is, turning this on and using it for more than a couple minutes, the icons on the home screen and photo displays actually kinda give me a weird case of nausea.I've never, never seen a bad photo on any of my older iPhones, my wife's 6 and my 6+ are also doing great, but ALL of them produce extremely bad pictures even if you zoom in just a tiny bit. It's really annoying having such a great camera, but having to crop EVERY photo so it can be shown full screen on my TV.When i take a photo with the iphone it looks great on the screen but once i imported to a computer it does not look as great.

Now when i make a call through my Mac (via iPhone) i hear perfect ( have a great set of speakers).Dai Zovi, who co-authored the book "The Mac Hacker's Handbook," states that Apple products such as the iPhone run the risk of becoming more vulnerable to hackers and may one day be as vulnerable as Windows-based machines.Anyone who can't follow along need only to look at the stunning, radical, beautiful new Mac Pro, there's a very current example of the mans great talent in design. And only the note added some functionality worth of changing my mac environment (imac, MBA, ipad retina, ipod classic, iPhone 5s) I managed to integrate android almost seamlessly and discovered it is a great os and learned quite a few things.TouchId in the 5s is something I could do with (from using my phone with OS maps on when walking), the iOS8 continuity stuff looks great - I personally find it handy now to tap away iMessages on my mac, and things like air dropping between the two will make it better still.Creative applications (motion or still editing, music making and artistry, DJs and musicians...even productivity with iWork and 'fun' with the free iLife suite, as well as Microsoft's Offoce suite) and aggregation with your Mac, iPad and other iOS devices is the compelling & reasonable argument to make the change.I'm wondering if I should get out soon, before I too become so addicted to how nice the text looks on the screen and how well the Facebook app works and how it all links so seamlessly to my Mac Air that I too become like "who cares if you can't do 101 other basic and important things with the phone, look at how nice that text font is and it's beautiful form factor!!"2 Mac Minis MacBook Pro 13 2011 2 Apple TV Airport Basestation Extreme Airport express iPad 2 iPad mini iPad Air 2 iPhone 5 (one for me, one for wife) Bluetooth keyboards Magic Trackpads Magic Mouse USB keyboard Numerous chargers, cables, Cool starry bras.Magic TrackPad (two -- one on the Mac Mini, one on the iMac) Magic Mouse (3 -- on three of the computers) Mighty Mouse (Use with the 17" MBP) Various cables and docks, etc.all just not cool when i've paid 1K for an iPhone and cases and it had a kernel panic, must have been a bad chip, so weird as i mentioned it on my old mac book, when i wrote the thread - i think peeps from UK were posting thinking i could just pop over to a store, time difference, plus i was not sure if could store could even help b/c of stock issues..... what are the odds of 2 KP's esp one on an iPhone!Used sndeep service to check it and this is what I got: Model: IPHONE 6 SPACE GRAY 64GB TMOBILE-USA IMEI: 3520XXXXXXXXXX MEID: Serial Number: F1XXXXXXXXXXXXX ICCID: Bluetooth MAC Address: XXXXXXXXXXXXX WiFi MAC Address: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Activated: false Next Tether Activation Policy: Multi-Mode Unlock Original Carrier: Multi-Mode Unlock Network Unlocked: false So, it looks like as soon as the phone can dial into Apple, the unlock will happen if I understand this report correctly. The imac 21 is inferior to the 27" and thy are both inferior to the mac pro.My phone is a 3G not the 3gS Ability to transfer data via bluetooth (admittedly, i don't use bluetooth that often but it would be nice to have the ability to do so) 5 items on the dock instead of 4 (i had my phone jailbroken for awhile -not anymore- and really loved that option) Ability to open .ICS events natively especially when I'm traveling and my phone is the only option for email checking (i do not have an exchange account or mobileme) Flash (yeah, i know, extremely unrealistic given Jobs' comments about Flash not terribly long ago) An earlier post mentioned a drop-down on the home screen for wi-fi options, i.e, the same function available on the Mac desktop.
computer
Got to say that I have been using Apple products since 1984 and have not gotten bad product yet, I have had a LOT of Apple products, just about every computer every iPhone every Apple TV, I have been luckyI just think there's something amazing about seeing the world evolve from a place where phones were huge plastic boxes that were attached to the wall with a wire and computers were the whole floor of a city block and only NASA and the IRS had them to today where we're debating whether a SIX OUNCE computer that's about 70mm thick, no bigger than a checkbook, can process MILLIONS of times more data than those old machines, is a still and video camera, a photo editor, a phone, a text messager, a Web browser, a motion sensor, a game system, includes a built in monitor, a rechargable battery that will power it all day and a high definition screen... is too big to fit in our pockets when we bend over to tie our shoes.Apple is amazing for creating a sophisticated computing device that's so simple even an 80 year old who has never used a computer can pick it up and be comfortable with it in no time. You agree not to misuse the Service or Device, including but not limited to: (a) reselling or rebilling our Service; (b) using the Service or Device to engage in unlawful activity, or in conduct that adversely affects our customers, employees, business, or any other person(s), or that interferes with our operations, network, reputation, or ability to provide quality service, including but not limited to the generation or dissemination of viruses, malware or "denial of service" attacks; (c) using the Service as a substitute or backup for private lines or dedicated data connections; (d) tampering with or modifying your T-Mobile Device; (e) "spamming" or engaging in other abusive or unsolicited communications, or any other mass, automated voice or data communication for commercial or marketing purposes; (f) reselling T-Mobile Devices for profit, or tampering with, reprogramming or altering T-Mobile Devices for the purpose of reselling the T-Mobile Device; (g) using the Service in connection with server devices or host computer applications, including continuous Web camera posts or broadcasts, automatic data feeds, automated machine-to-machine connections or peer-to-peer (P2P) file-sharing applications that are broadcast to multiple servers or recipients, "bots" or similar routines that could disrupt net user groups or email use by others or other applications that denigrate network capacity or functionality; (h) accessing, or attempting to access without authority, the information, accounts or devices of others, or to penetrate, or attempt to penetrate, T-Mobile's or another entity's network or systems; (i) running software or other devices that maintain continuously active Internet connections when a computer's connection would otherwise be idle, or "keep alive" functions (e.g.If it weren't for that the $40 chinese job from Australia doesn't have the kind of computer behind it to pull of the kind of tricks this phone is going to.I'd love 2GB of RAM and whenever possible I like to double up on RAM, when building PC's I've been known to ram as much RAM (pun intended) as possible...maybe in a simple minded effort to just make things "better" but I've been using my rMBP which I only got 8GB of RAM for and compared to the 16GB RAM models its not insanely different...only difference is when I start doing INSANE things in video editing, I'm not talking about transcoding high res video I'm talking about doing some crazy ****** in After Effects and making the computer hot enough to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner....I don't think their is a whole lot on the iPhone 6 you can do that can push the RAM to the limit....I mean yeah opening a zillion tabs (which I am notorious for, I always have max tabs open) is one thing but I still find my phone to respond very well...LOL the OP is angry with a computer program who is too sarcastic. But like the Best Buy method and other weird workarounds that have been working for 2+ years, they don't care or it's not worth their time to fix whatever computer code is allowing a few people to renew their unlimited data plans or add a line or 2 to their account.as for not trying hard enough - I got up at midnight and tried for 1.5 hours on my computer, iPad and iPhone- trying and trying - refreshing and refreshing - don't see how I could have done more - you either get through or you don't - pretty simple.Changing IPs is pretty easy to do When I log into my account, I DID see a few that said invalid (when I click on invalid it tells me why... "same computer").When i take a photo with the iphone it looks great on the screen but once i imported to a computer it does not look as great. After a while trying to understand why my fullchargecapacity was dropping like crazy(sort of 50mAh per charge), a noticed something: Batterycurrentcapacity:100 Batteryischarging:true Fullycharged:false I guess this is THE THING that is giving to the users a variety of different fullchargecapacities, my example: Cyclecount: 38 Fullchargecapacity: 1243 Batterycurrentcapacity:100 Batteryischarging:true Fullycharged:false I let my iphone plugged in to my computer, and after a while i opened the ibackupbot again, but this time something showed up differently: Cyclecount: 38 Fullchargecapacity: 1304 Batterycurrentcapacity:100 Batteryischarging:true Fullycharged:false So, I guess my advice is, if you want the app to accurately measure your fullchargecapacity, you have to wait till the batteryischarging:false and fullycharged:true.

update
Ill stay at least until Gingersnap gets hers from apple and she becomes happy again- Update: Tracking number updated and phone is shipping from Fort Worth, TX and its Next day air!I am beyond sure as apps get optimized and iOS gets further updated and streamlined, the Plus is more then capable of running at 60 fps constant no lag, iOS 8 is defitnetly rushed out the door a bit...but it is also the biggest iOS update ever with over 4000 new API's ...i am sure they will fix performance and that stuttering, and also all app submissions by February 2015 need to be 64 bit capable, that alone right there switching the app from 32-bit to 64-bit gives a 10% performance increase right off the bat from the use of extra registers of the CPU(so next year we will get very nice performance gains as apps start getting 64 bit capable) Anyways going off topic a bit lol, but I agree the Plus is defitnetly the first iPhone at launch that wasn't 100% perfectly smooth with those options turned off(stock) A little bit suprising but, by no means is it slow in apps or performance wise at all, it is a very fast phone in operation, just animation stutters and sputters and tab reloadingI am happy to report impressive battery life since the update so it seems to be working well on my iPhone 6 iPhone 6 64GB (AT&T) // iPad Mini (Wifi) // 2013 MacBook Pro RetinaDid that and the apps were updated, after a short while. The funny thing is that instead of showing 'Open' beside every updated app in the updates section of the App Store,it shows 'Update'.I've confirmed that the apps were updated (compared the latest version in the App Store and on my phone, they were the same). Not that it actually affects anything but i just find it weird.I agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GBBeautiful screen alone was worth the update.Pre-ordered 6+ 64GB SG @ 1.46am CDT on 9/12 Estimated delivery 10/2 - 10/13 My AT&T site reads 'pending shipment' Cancel button on premier site reappeared 3-4 days ago No sign of any shipment or tracking number Happy for others seeing some progress ... just wish I could see some kind of update!iOS7 was a nice update and made the my iPhone 5 feel like a new phone again and if nothing else the iPad Air I just purchased was nice due to it's speed and screen. The Nexus 5 for me has been great, it was my first 4G phone (London) and signal is great, battery was a bit meh but I wiped my phone and has since doubled, the camera is good enough, the 4.2.2 update fixed the slow focusing. The 6 runs the 64bit chip while he 5 dose not and with each iOS update you will see you 5 getting worse and worse. With the shoddy update that was/is iOS 8, your phone could get bricked/slowed down thanks to terrible coding.Disappointed, hope it will be a future update as it's handy, but definitely not enough for me to go and buy the plus.Got tired of the phone looking mismatched, and tired of having to reapply icons after every update.I was also a bit annoyed at how quickly Apple drop update support for previous models (little did I realise how much worse the situation can be with non-Nexus devices on Android).****^ I don't find your sarcasm amusing The end tester(s) @ Apple that gave the go ahead to release this update needs to be fired Sad....Steve Job has passed awayIt's the same thing every time we have one of these.... Everyone gets all spun up and Apple Logos appear in their eyes....We make ludicrous posts about how Apple is the greatest and we can't wait to stand in line at 3 am to purchase it.... And then the Keynote happens and we will come back and say what an awful update that was and how underwhelmed we are by the newest Apple offerings....Then we may buy it...We may preorder it but only because the battery life sucks on the 6 month old 5S we currently have....Worked great, but was made obsolete quite soon with that terrible iOS 4 update that basically killed the performance.Nothing really I have my wifi and Bluetooth on, but I turned off most the the location services I don't need and left only the ones I need like camera, find my iphone etc, with everything thing on I should get close to 7-9 hours, but to be honest I mostly used it so far for normal usage, no map usage today such as Waze, it drains battery power like mad, I'll post update lasted tomorrow after using Waze to show the difference in battery power.Twice Also did a ##update# no luck Googled the issue, and every result was indicating a bad SIM - although, they were posts for 4, 4S and 5 (Around October 8 for the 5) which did not correlate to an update I would not really even consider the update being an issue if it weren't for a few of us with the same experience of updating, and then immediately having the issue Too weird Anyway, point of the post was to see if anyone else had this, which, some did - and as a heads up for others beating a dead horse now.Being "worried" about an unannounced software update to your mobile phone is, well, pathetic.
device
It would be worth it if Apple optimized iOS 8 and made it fluid and gave it more intuitive features for a larger device.Pretty nice device - let's see if it was worth the wait...Something about the 6 Plus that is just incredible..i just feel like i have the whole world at my finger tips...a big very beautiful into this world, and the way the space gray 6 /6plus in the front looks with the edges sloping off and like the blackness of the front display and just the way it seems to morph into the edges and kind of like consume the whole front of the device is amazing...plus ( no pun intended lmao) i love the battery life, it is absolutely incredibly good and lasts a very long time I like the 6 design better then the 5S/5 design overall.... One thing I do wish though is that i wished they made a darker model then Space Gray (like the dark slate color from the iPhon 5) , that would look even moreamazing imo.. Yeah the 6 plus may be big but it is obnoxiously big beautiful and turns heads and i have caught people just looking at my phone (and when I had a 6 i remember I had seen a few 6 Pluses in the wild in peoples hands and them using it , and me just going to my self "wow that screen does look really nice and beautiful actually") it actually is one of the reasons why i went from the 6 to the 6 Plus because of envy and also the other obvious (battery life, screen size and res, OIS )Went from the 6 to the 6 Plus and am beyond absolutely happy and satisfied and glad that I did, no regrets at all and i am already used to the Plus now...the bigger screen and 1080p panel, the OIS, and espcially the noticeably better battery life of the Plus makes it feel like a big upgrade from past iPhones and a legit upgrade...I am absolutely in love with my Plus, if you dont mind a Note 3 sized phone/phablet , the Plus is the way to go, I promise you wont be let down The thinness and tapered edges makes this device great to hold in hand IMO, and keeps it slim and very tolerable and lighter and skinnier in pocket due to its form factor OIS is the smallest reason to upgrade to the 6 Plus, but OIS most certainly does help in low light and makes the Plus produce better images then the 6, you picked a bad few examples, OIS helps quite a bit in low light On a 6 Plus here, came from a 6 , and have noticed absolutely no difference in performance, both scream and peform blazing fast and give fantastic graphical details in games alongside with superb high frame rate, Vainglory looks and plays beyond amazing on my Plus I agree to this, 6 Plus performs just as blazing fast and stupdenously fast as the 6 I switched from which I had own for over a month and a halfWell then i stand corrected..and glad you were one of the lucky ones who got it back.....i was just going by what a retentions agent told me.....but she also told me that there is 1 spvr in charge of this plan who can also add it back.. Thats a great deal too...and comes close the 20 for 10 for the same price.......but if you dont need a ton of data then a great value is if you can get retentions to match verizons 10 gigs for price of 6 for 80 bucks...cuz you will get the 15 buck device charge with that deal too...and slap a fan discount on in and your payin about 62.50 for the data.......niceThere is no phone at all out there that is 6 inches screen and smaller then the Plus Im sorry to say...and the bezels are not bad at all on the Plus, the black front and curved edges makes the screen really beautiful actually, the bezels are not bad at all, although obviously they could of made it slimmer for a overall smaller device, But the thinness of the Plus and weight makes it the easiest phablet to hold and use after a long period of time, slim fit in the pocket, and noticeably thinner then just about every phablet out thereAs far as the processor, I really don't mind which device has the faster processor, though it'd be nice to have those really great graphics on the Air 2, I really don't care whether my iPhone or iPad has the faster processor. After using my 6 plus for a while, it feels great to have a small, stylish device. This, this website is superb and it helped me find a 6 Plus 64 Gb in stock right at my local Apple store, I got the 4.7 inch 6 on Launch date, and I had it for about a month, I loved it but the Plus was looking so luring and amazing once I got to play with it a few times, I was so sure at first I didnt ever want the Plus, but then I started envying it, and then My brother ended up buying this Plus at Apple and we traded my 4.7 inch i6 with Applecare + on it for a 64 gb 6 plus for me, and I honestly couldnt be anymore satisfied and happy with this, I am beyond happy I got the plus, I love this thing and Im already use to the size, the thinness of the device is truly what makes this phablet actually very tolerable imo and its very slim in the pocket, The bigger screen alongside with the stupendously good battery life alone is beyond worth it and also OIS, All other phones just feel tiny now to me hah, TLDR: switched from a 6 (never thought id get a phablet) to a Plus and i am beyond in love with this thing and i am beyond satisifed and happy i went from the 6 to the 6 PlusIt's a wonderful, beautiful device.IF you get lucky, the blue shirt will go to his/her manager and speak about it... the manager will then come over to you and say, yes we can cancel the 2 year contract and you'll have to wait for your upgrade eligibility to kick back in, which generally takes 5-10 mins... if you cancelled twice, you're SOL as it locks the upgrade and you'll have to call AT&T and they'll have to call some other to have it restored which will take 3-5 business days... to avoid that, if you're on a family plan, I'd suggest you pre-order with another line thats not looking to upgrade right away... that way your upgrade is available right away and theres no waiting around... if you're the only line, I'd suggest you log into your AT&T mobile app and keep refreshing the upgrade eligibility page until you see it kick in... once they cancel the 2 year contract, theres an option for the NEXT or you can purchase the phone "device only" which means you pay for the phone completely, right there... again, I've experienced stores where they will flat out tell you they cant do such a thing, blah blah blah, cancelling will put the phone back into their online pre-order batch, which is BS... you just need to get lucky and have a blue shirt willing to do it for you...So I am very happy now with the 6 plus...having the chance to use the 6 made me appreciate using the 6 plus that much more, however the 6 is still a great phone..great portable device.A parting thought, the Blackberry passport is also a beautiful and well made device worth looking at for the business minded professional.I mean, the Plus is an awesome device and all, and the screen and battery are unparalleled, but I have to tell you, the size becomes a burden if you're happy with using your phone how you are now.Or without returning and waiting it out until they become ubiquitous in stores... And being the most popular device that Apple sells, I know and have experienced quality taking the bench next to just pumping these things out, getting them in every one and their mothers' hands and making those quarterly earnings looks AMAZING, INNOVATIVE, PROMISING.I don't think it's unfair to say that 99% of iPhone users would be happy to wait an extra second if they could have the screen quality of a samsung device.I also purchased a basic phone as a second line.... Later in the day i got a phone call saying my card was declined..called and approved but at that point my order was pushed further in the que... waited and waited and nothing changed... until today and kept checking this forum to see where everyone was at....and after finally waiting for so long i gave up and was LUCKY enough to find a device at a Best Buy Mobile store via: idevicechecker.com I would definetely recommend it..got there wiht no line and got my new SILVER 128 gb plus...and I decided to stay with my carrier.. ATT customer service was worthless...they didn't know what they were talking about and was always getting the run around..ontop of that the LG basic phone I ordered was in stock but they never shipped it to me and its always says backordered.....Since the 3DMARK is doing everything in its power to STRESS the device, and while watching it on my AIR was still impressive (to me) I am starting to become more confident that the PLUS will last well through two years and good enough for my third. When I brought it into the Apple Store I told them it had to be defective when manufactured because that couldn't possibly be the quality Apple designed. The woman working there was nice enough to charge us "only" the $109 they charge right now to replace the screen, even though the whole device had to be replaced. The trip is always worth it to get what you pay for which should be a device you see fit for purpose.I received my 6 on the 19th and although it is a beautiful, amazing device, I found that I was lusting after the Plus which is not normal for someone who just got a new device.Aside from the occasional minor 8.0.2 bugaboo, the device itself is beautiful and flawless, and a pleasure to use.I'm an avid reader and after trying all the iPad's and Kindle's, I think the 6+ is the perfect device for me to read on because it's always with me.So we aren't trying to "fit" the 6+ into our existing workflow (like we did with the 4S->5 transition), we're supposed to adjust our workflow to fit the device (like we did when we first got an iPad, iPod or AppleTV).I agree one size doesn't fit all for screen sizes and I think the 6 is a great device.Wow, seems like Iphone 6 Plus is having a lot of problems...I tried the Note 4 at bestbuy today and it was stunning and a wonderful device on all regards...its great that we have the choice of the two different sizes...grateful for that so now everyone can be "happy"....it's funny to me that we have android people talking smack about iPhone users and now there is the 6plus vs 6 talking smack to each other...at the end of the day you have to choice to get the device that fits your daily life and that's all that matters.Spending seventy pounds to cover a seven hundred pounds device didn't sound too bad too bad to me.So far, things I prefer about the 5.5 On-screen keyboard size The resolution of the display, fit much more on screen and photos look awesome The physical finish of the device, better than the 4.7 Stuff I prefer about the 4.7 More compact Easier one handed use Minor but noticeably better performance. After 1 week of using my 6 Plus, it has been great device and will still be a great device.Great phone hardware wise (screen, camera and battery life) but for me it is just too big a device to use, especially with a case on it.I understand you want your device to be perfect since you dropped $300+ on it and feel like you have the coolest phone on the block but let's not get feelings twisted over an inanimate object.I know that apple tested these phones 15,000 different ways, with sophisticated equipment, and are smart enough to know releasing a device that 'bent in your pocket under normal wear' would be a poor move for them, I just dont think they would do that, and I believe their testing facility is fully capable of recreating whatever circumstances alleged bender victims have hypothesized.I can see having to wear bigger pants if the phone literally doesn't fit, so that is changing your clothes for a device I guess if that's the case and you end up buying the phone, but I don't think it should bend just from being in your pants, assuming you can fit it in there obviously. The Smart Cover for iPads is such a great tool to use to prop up the device on its own so I could set it on my nightstand to watch media without needing to balance it against something. Thanks for sharing Glad you like your 6, it's an awesome device and looks beautiful.doesn't make sense to have that kind of bend on a large device, unless you are wearing a 50inch tight jeans that can fit an iphone6+ horizontally.I agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GBAgain, amazing device, just be sure it'll fit into how you use your phone.Yes the 6+ is a beautiful device and the battery advantages is definitely appealing..Now you know how it feels for all the people that always wanted a bigger screen to be more productive and use it more as a smart device and enjoy all the awesome benefits of a larger screen. To think that a device this much bigger and thinner than what people are used to won't require ANY change in handling is kind of astounding really.I bought my DSLR as a refurb and with this kind of device, it's way better to have refurb than to buy new from a shop, in addition to the great discount.Get Apple care + it's well worth the cost, any time you buy a high end phone or device getting Double the warranty and accidental damage protection is worth it.I got to do a real "test drive" on it, and although it was super impressive & the screen was awesome...I had to face the truth that it just wasn't the device for me, given a choice of the smaller version.I'd also say that, if you're not a heavy tablet user then this is the perfect device....kinda finds a happy medium.I received my 6 Plus yesterday, physically it is the most perfect apple device I have ever opened, no marks of any type at all, very happy with the assembly QC on the outer case.I'm glad some of you already have the new device, lucky you.It is the perfect size (although I do wish they cut down the bezels more and fit a 5" screen in the same size device). The plus is perfect for me as one device for all & will fit in pretty much every purse I own.If however you want the latest and greatest iPhone and your going to keep the device for a couple of years or more then it may be worth adding the extra money and getting a 6, but as I said the 5s is still a very, very capable and good phone.if i switch to some other device, it might save me money, but i would have to go through all the trial & error to find the perfect apps that i need and sometimes the accumulation of all the knowledge about my preferences is worth more than a few hundred dollars.IMO great piece of technical device, I'm glad I'm keeping it..A mentality that this device you have is expensive, precious, gorgeous, and you want to keep it that way.I'm sure it's a great device and the extra screen real estate is awesome.Couple reasons... the rMini has the amazing Smart Cover that allows it to stand on a hotel nightstand, and the rMini's battery is way way longer and its overall screen size is almost double the real estate.. so going to keep using it as my media device :-)Agreed, maybe I'll change my mind once I have one but I've tried the Galaxy Note 3 before and hated how it two-hands was an absolute requirement to function At the moment the Xperia Z3 Compact is my personal favorite device on the horizon based on its compact size for one-handed use, flagship specs (snapdragon 801, 2gb RAM, micro SD, 20mp camera) and great battery size at 2600mAh.3) The device access discounts are nice and worth it.I guarantee you'll be coming back here to these forums gushing about how beautiful the device is and how nice it feels in hand when you get yours. If you have more than 10GBs of data and just have to have the latest and greatest Apple device, then yeah it's worth it.I been dreaming of a iPhone that as thin as a iPod touch, ever since iPod touches came out i would hold them in my hand and be like wow imagine one day a iPhone becomes this thin.. That day is coming now , i know some people dont care about thinness at all and yes the device being ultra ultra thin isnt the biggest thing to a phone, but the i6 is going to be a absolute dam joy to hold in hand, feel in hand, and to just look at.That's not a bad thing though as it's a nice looking deviceI guess this signifies that I am kind of over the whole notion that the device is something precious or neat and its just a utility finally.Google's Nexus 5 is a great little device with the best version of Android, but the battery life is atrocious.Apple is amazing for creating a sophisticated computing device that's so simple even an 80 year old who has never used a computer can pick it up and be comfortable with it in no time.I love my 5s, I cannot imagine using an iPhone without Touch ID now, but the 5c is certainly a great device and a great alternative to the 5s for people who want a different shape, a different feel, and a bit of colour.Seriously, glad you are happy with whatever device you chose, but hey.. since it's an iPhone.. heck yes!To answer OP: 5S is a great device and a worthy upgrade from the 4S.But, that's just me.. and I'm happy just to have such an amazing device. You agree not to misuse the Service or Device, including but not limited to: (a) reselling or rebilling our Service; (b) using the Service or Device to engage in unlawful as a device more keen to wider experiences, as screen real estate allows for more enjoyable movies and games experience, for instance. It's an amazing device and with my 5S, I am just excited about it as I was with that first iPhone back in 2007.It's definitely worth the upgrade, and if you're not interested in a bigger screen, the 5s is a great device with Touch ID (which works great) and is probably the most future-proof iPhone released yet.You deserve perfect cuz you paid for perfect , your not the bad guy cuz you demand your phone work , that's called taking a stand and not letting subpar quality control affect you because it shouldn't affect one of us , we as consumers should stick together on something like this and give each other the knowledge to get the job done , not doubt and call names like children Than why after 3 white box replacements through the mail with the same manager on the case did I get upgraded to a 5s white 16 gig , I'm begging people to not make statements that aren't true , if you suffer through 3 defective iphone 5 they will upgrade you to a 5s because after 3 refurbs they must give you a new device and they don't make new 5 anymore they only have refurb white box , I video tapped all 3 of my white box unboxings right from the signing to the opening and they all had scratched screens or something else and I had the proof , not only did I get upgraded I received a call from Erik from corporate who was stunned with what I went through and sent me a 32 gig iPod touch , just please stop assuming people are trying to commit fraud because we aren't , we are simply here trying to help each other get on the right path to enjoying their devices and if sharing my story and the email address of the managers that helped me gets something done for someone else and helps out one more lost person going through what I did that makes me feel great , we should all recieve perfect devices the first time and that don't happen but we have rights and should use themI'm sorry but Mary realized how much time and effort I put into getting a good phone and I could have switched to android but I stayed the coarse and now I have a new 5s and she gave me a black leather case , then after I emailed Tim cook about the ordeal Erik gustafson calls me and hooks me up with a free 32 gig iPod touch for my daughter , don't let the negative people affect you , there are good people at apple and I gave you there names and emails and you should be treated like gold now , I hope all works out buddy have a happy new year and after 7 replacements I would demand a new device and then you will get upgraded don't be afraid to ask because you have rightsYour speeds are horrible, but with a LTE capable device speeds are respectable.I'll take my college degree, great job, and my great cell phone service and you can call me low end all day long, but at the end of the day (and my contract) I will have paid less for the same device you have. That said, I've loved my iP5 - LTE, the beautiful screen/color accuracy and speed of the device are wonderful.1gb of RAM in this year on a device that is this high priced is horrible, especially when the Air 2 got 2gb of RAM and the amount of apps and tabs held in the background are far more than this paltry 1gb horribleness. And my posts usually attack the iphone and apple when it comes to ram because this amount of greedy pathetic gimping of a device is disgusting and I make no attempt to disguise how much I hate this decision.watch out for "iPhone for life" if you terminate your agreement you must pay ALL future device payments and then you have to either hand them your phone or you have to take their purchase option so for example if i lease an iPhone 6 64 gb for $25 a month and i have 21 months left, i have to surrender my iPhone PLUS pay them $525 i guess the purchase option would be another $224 i am sick of people calling this deal a rental going around and making sure all the various news sites telling you how bad the iPhone 4 life program is almost as futile of trying to destroy every last copy of Star Wars the Holiday Special if i pay the future device payments plus take the purchase option, i bet i still won't get an unlockEither your device is defective or something, mine truly does run buttery smooth with Reduce Transparency on And alot of people also report they too have buttery smooth 6 pluses, stop trying to grasp at straws and claim that since one person on a forums on the internet has the issue, then all the sudden everyone has it because that is beyond from the truth Every phone has downsides, but the 6 Plus is currently the fastest phablet and smartphone really on the marke at this moment with the 6, the Snapdragon 805 is inferior to the Apple A8My 6 Plus has been absolutely amazing and I have absolutely no lag or stutter at all on my 6 Plus, your 6 Plus seems to be defective, Sounds like you might not even have a 6 Plus, why would you spend all that money when a ton of your "problems" is something you could of always seen in person hands on with the device or so (surely you tried the device out before forking over money) And Siri has been working for me 90% of the time and is light years better then what it has been, that seems to be a connection issue on your part with Siri having a response like thatyeah but that lag in your video is very serious and clearly seems to be something mechanically defective in your device if that is common, I came from a 6 to a 6 plus and the 6 plus is just as buttery smooth fast as the 6 that i came from, with no lag or stutters for me ever I also have TLC nand memory, which is suppose to be the worse NAND that causes some people issues but i myself have had no issues at all with it Try a hard reset (home and lock button until screen turns off completely) and also try turning on Reduce transparency in accessbility in general in settingsyeah but that lag in As bizarre as it may sound, it appears that some people may have been ashamed of the capacity of their deviceFor some reason I always think its really sad when I see such a beautifully designed device that is as large as a tablet/phablet but only 16GB...your going to be constantly clearing room....do yourself a favor because in the long run it will help and you might regret it far after the 14 or 30 days you get it...so many people I know regret getting the 16GB model....I feel almost bad!Weird, how the CEO uses a inferior device with a case on it.I seriously think Apple just posts fake stock for bots to try and buy like someone else said.. Because I was waiting for that and I even checked the stock on another device on apple's website a second before I pressed buy and it said available and then after I tried and got the error it immediately switched to unavailable... Like they just post one to trick bots into trying to buy it quickly for someone and it automatically fails on purpose and the stock is gone.. Apple please stop fake stocking your storesAnd since it's a rather expensive device, their angry opinions damn well better be heard.Well right, I agree the 6+ is the inferior device for bending too, but that means absolutely NOTHING with regards to whether the bending issue is any worse than any other phone on the market (besides the 6 of course, but even that is arguable based on testing).I really wanted one for my personal device, but I do way too much one handed work I was afraid I would get too frustrated. This happens every time a new device comes out and the same dishonest people will always be dishonest.Needless to say each time I attempted to use an Android device I found it frustrating and sloppy compared to iOS and always went back.I was afraid I would drop it, due to not being used to moving around with a bigger device.I was a bit frustrated so maybe the title of the thread could have been better but its truly amazing to me how most people on this forum get so ******** over mentioning a competitor device.A rate of up to 2% of new devices shipping with a defect is not uncommon with consumer electronics, and it just seems worse with an Apple device because the immense volume of sales means that a larger number of people will inevitably receive a defective unit.Just because someone points out flaws in a device doesn't make them jealous lol... by your logic, Apple fanboys are all jealous of Samsung's plastic phones.Like the argument that Apple is evil and the workers in china all die etc.. Those ppl did obviously not understand that the lithium for every houshold device is harvested from poor african childs in lithium mines and most of them die or get serious lung problems but thats ok, because the real evil are the apple factories which means foxconn and those factories actually produce for alot of companies, not only apple. This one doesn't have a fault either......it's just pathetic Internet trolling that a very very few minority of people have suffered, in which most of them will have suffered due to misuse......it's as simple as that......and if you haven't bought one yet, then simply don't buy one if you're that worried......I have bought one, I'm treating it like the respect it deserves for being such an expensive device......if you can't handle such a big phone in your lifestyle, don't buy it, simple as that......I guarantee they will still sell more phones than anyone else this year, and I know it's not about sales, it's about customer satisfaction......and as i said, a few moaning idiots on here doesn't show the majority vote here......people who have no issues will not bother coming here, they will simply be enjoying their device and getting on with their lives.....something I wish all the moaners would do instead of just crying about issues that don't exist if you treat things properly. My mom couldn't fit the Plus in a lot of her pants and my dad's hand got tired using the device. Then it shouldn't be new to you either that sitting with a cell phone in a tight pants pocket can subject your expensive device to undue stresses at best, and damage at worst.+ is an appealing device, however I personally feel it looks a bit obnoxious when up against my head on a call. Please be honest not just excited about your new device.Indeed, no device is perfect and I'm extremely wary of jumping from the frying pan into the fire so to speak.I figured something was up, so I did a mock edge upgrade, only to find my account locked for upgrading because my MEID didn't match the one on my agreement (my device had been replaced with Asurion and they gave me this awful S4 instead of a Moto X, unless I wanted to wait a month to get a functioning phone). The screen size might be amazing to use but when you have to carry the device in jeans/trouser pockets and often find yourself needing to use it one handed on public transport, it is totally impractical for some people.Trying to ascribe bad motives to whoever had the device blacklisted is just sick, and it's wrong, and it's a pathetic whiny excuse to avoid doing the right thing and turning it in to the police.Especially, since every Android device I've ever used has felt awkward and clumsy by comparison. They replaced a defective device with a defective device. What's ironic is that, because of the original iPhone with no 3G, AT&T had to spend months backfitting their system for a higher speed EDGE so the new Apple device wouldn't look pitiful running at 59 Kbps.If the phablet hasn't developed into a great device by the launch for iPhone 6, I don't think they will jeopardize the iPhone 6 hype by releasing a mediocre phablet. To me its not worth it cause its nice to pay $199 or $150 for a new device instead of $650.Always ask the buyer to bring a SIM so that both parties can verify the device fully functioning [Note: Scammers usually don't sit to inspect the device nor bring SIM cards to test devices] Additional Notes: - eBay buyers can open a dispute against the seller up to 30days after the purchase and correct me If I'm wrong, Paypal direct sales can be disputed against up to 45days === DO NOT SELL YOUR iDEVICES DIRECTLY VIA PAYPAL, NO MATTER HOW NICE OR CONVINCING THE BUYER MAY BE, YOUR PROTECTION LEVEL IS LOWER vs having eBay on board.Old device worst case: (0 + 20mg) and (1g - 20mg) New device worst case (0 + 95mg) and (1g - 95mg) Old worst case inclination: atan(20/980) = 1.16 degrees New worst case inclination: atan(95/905) = 5.99 degrees So I think we've found our culprit.Yes, I'm absolutely concerned about these things... but for the purposes of this thread, I for one am more gobsmacked that of all of these other things that the OP should be worried about, he instead has chosen to fixate on a rather absurd one: he wants to disable the fingerprint reader on a device which can be used to collect insidious data, and buying said device - the option which is most effective - is an option he finds acceptable. That looks stunning The only thing I don't like is the home button put on the frame, thats so android like and I never liked it on my friends device but the rest looks great & I also like the light up Apple Logo but that would be replaced by the home button again, maybe the lil square lines of that button could light up when I get a notification, I would welcome it...otherwise it depresses me that we all have so many wonderful ideas but we all know that Apple will never implement them into the final productThere could very well be bad publicity for Apple, they will be releasing a product which is somewhat defective right when you turn it on..... Sure Apple has alot of people who will still buy the device regardless of how many probs the thing has, but then you have people who will come after Apple just like they would any other company who releases a broken product and does nothing to fix it.

For moms there's a great camera, a crucial feature that Apple has marketed so heavily they've got most everyone addicted to using it as one criteria of great importance when choosing a phone. The camera is nice and the screen is awesome. Its when conditions aren't ideal, and/or when you want to control aspects of the imaging process, that a dedicated camera tends to shine. The leap from the 5S to the 6 didnt feel like too much of a change really at all besides few obvious welcome changes, but I have switched since to the 6 Plus from the 6, and I have to say the Plus is absolutely incredible and feels like a major big upgrade to iPhone(the screen and battery on the Plus is simply just absolutely fantastic and dramatically better then what Apple has ever offered in the past) and that going to the 6 Plus from the 6 alone feels like a awesome nice upgrade and from the 5s to the 6 Plus is defitnetly absolutely a big difference and feel and change and feels like a very awesome upgrade Keep it, by February 2015 all apps and app updates submitted have to have 64 bit support, which means 35-40% speed boost increase in apps that dont use 64 bit code (plenty to name that dont use 64 bit code yet ; Netflix, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube , Google Maps, bunch others) so roughly around 30% speed boost increase for 5S and 35-40% faster applications for 6/6 Plus for Touch ID my advice and tip to you is register your same finger twice in Touch ID, it makes it tons more accurate and much more consistent and essentially works "perfect" for me after doing this trick, try it Lastly download a good camera app like Camera+, it really does make a difference..I don't think you notice the bad camera to be honest. You know every modern smart phone camera can take beautiful pictures.I like them too, it actually looks good IMO, if it was all just metal'ed out it wouldnt look as good I dont think, Also call me crazy but I actually do like the slight camera protrusion too with the nice beautiful darkish gray gunmetal ring that surrounds the camera, covered in sapphire lens glass, its beautiful IMO..I would be happy if they made the new phone thicker to include a bigger battery and bigger Camera lens to improve low light photos I am very happy with the current 6 design and will probably get the plus version next timeAll the things we thought the 6 would be, but wasn't: Wireless charging Waterproof Two day battery 20Mp camera Bezel-less Two gigs ram at least LED notification Durable Sapphire screen No ugly antenna bands No ugly protruding lens No bad screens escaping QC inspection Stable iOS Smooth iOS This would make a phone with paying a thousand bucks for.The battery life, camera, and that amazing screen are just beautiful.Happy "taking your camera out on a nice day and taking awesome photos" to everyoneI love the camera in the 6 Plus, it is truly amazing that we have a phone camera with optical image stabilization, just amazing, You only see this kinda stuff in bigger cameras, and not in phones, that's a + for the 6+ On the other hand, I've never owned an iPad, but I always wanted one since the first one.great video I am very happy with the camera they both have video image stabilizer the plus has OIS Optical Image Stabilizer which is for still shotsBut most of users want a great display, a great camera and a great battery life.I'm super happy at how fast video focuses too, I think the 6s is going to be the ultimate, the s version iPhones always seem to perfect the camera.Touch ID is just amazing, camera is outstanding and the screen size is perfect..Battery life, camera, and the biggest/best screen this side of the Galaxy Note 4 (great for GPS and games) are also some really nice things to have.Much better camera, better apps, seamless integration with my iPad Mini, and of course, seamless iTunes integration.Even on the cake the camera protrudes lol That's awesome though, happy birthday.Nice screen, size seemed good, protruding camera didn't seem that bothersome, felt like nice materials, I kind if liked it.Other than just a bit better camera and a bit faster CPU... And they'll make it seem totally awesome and amazing.Motorola STARTAC Nokia 3210 Nokia 3310 Sony Ericsson T68i (with the detachable VGA camera that rendered 1 FPS lol) Nokia 7650 Nokia 6600 Nokia 7610 Motorola RAZR (so sexy) Nokia N80 iPhone 2G Blackberry Bold 9000 Blackberry Torch 9800 iPhone 4S Samsung Galaxy S4 iPhone 6+- It's thin - It's beautiful - Well Designed - Vibrant screen - Fast processor and fast wireless - Great camera (though noise reduction could be turned down) - Amazing App Collection - Runs much cooler than my 4S - Larger, more readable screenIt has an: Awesome camera Awesome screen Awesome speaker Awesome thinness Awesome processor Awesome Touch ID Awesome design Awesome flash Awesome battery life compared to all new smart phones it just trounces them.Pretty amazing for a camera phone, to be honest. Now I know why I tried a Nexus 5 and HTC One over the past few years The 6 Plus - awesome screen, amazing camera, and killer battery life - simply perfect (for me).Funny thing is that the picture quality does increase tremendously when switching to black & white Again, for a smartphone the camera in the 6 is no different than previous models, it works fine so be happy with it.So - taking into account Apple deprecated the 64GB 5s model from now on, I've just immediately bought the 64GB iPhone 5s - while they are still present here in stores... And now - I'm REALLY happy with it: I've got the extremely convenient TouchID feature, better camera etc, all in lovely 4" size.I don't what specs apple (or anyone else) advertises as long as the camera takes nice images and for my the iPhone does in fact take nice images. Not at all, my iPhone 6 is perfect and it feels really premium imo, I love the camera actually protruding from the phone ever so slightly, the dark metal shiny ring around the camera is a nice touch.- dead pixel - backlight bleed - uniformity (one side darker, yellower) - smudge / smear inside glass - dust inside screen - dust or dirt inside glass (outside of screen area) - recessed / uneven volume button (on one but not another) - sticky vibration button (normal ones have a nice firm click) - uneven pressure / sticky / unbalance on sleep wake button (normal ones have a nice click to it) - uneven home button pressure (perfect ones have a nice click to it, but this is personal preference) - uneven gap when assembled (run your finger on the edge on each side and compare for your 6/6+) - dust inside camera lens - general cosmetic scratches / chips / dings (Apple logo, aluminum, buttons, sim slot) And this list hasn't even covered technical issues like wifi, Bluetooth, Touch ID, vibration rattle, etc.I'm happy to be 'that guy' with the camera bag But I love the convenience of the iPhone cam, it's always on me, and that's half the battle of finding / taking great pics - being at the right place at the right time with your camera!I'm happy with my battery life and I need to test the camera more, but I'm quite satisfied by its quality so I'm very happy of my iPhone 6Incredible battery life, an amazing camera, great for watching for videos, and playing games - oh and it makes phone calls too. Also the ip6/6 Plus and their design and performance and camera and screens are just fantasic and amazing as a whole in the package , extremely top notch specs (ARMv8/64 Bit processor that is top notch performer on the market right now, extremely good front and back cameras, best LCD screens in a smartphone ever(Thats up to you if you prefer OLED over LCD or vice versa) amazing body design in my opinion, really good battery life) I love and adore the look of the new screens how they like overlap on the edges and it morphs into the edges for a nice smooth glide off feeling, (I have a Space gray iPhone 6 and I love so much how the black screen like morphs over the edges and consumes the phones front ) i think it looks much better then any phone out right now2) Beautiful, beautiful screen 3) This camera takes great pics. The camera is really nice, she showed me some pics and even took a fairly low light picture of me when I was looking at the phone and they seemed great.Great phone hardware wise (screen, camera and battery life) but for me it is just too big a device to use, especially with a case on it.The screen really was beautiful, camera was excellent, and battery life amazing.Nice bit screen bit I'm still able to use it one handed....while the camera is great I really wish it was equal to the 6 plus.Fantastic battery life, great camera, amazing screen.-- I have not used the feature at all, I just end up shifting the phone around in my palm as I find that more convenient (dunno why but i Just do) 8) Camera -- Defininately one of the most amazing cameras I have used on a iPhone, I compared between the 6 and 6+ and the 6+'s ability to focus so fast is just amazing. It's kind of funny, because the camera and antenna lines seemed so wrong in all the leaks before announcement, but on the actual phone they don't bother me at all.I highly recommend Ghost Armor screen protector, well at least if you have a Ghost Armor kiosk by you, they do the installation extremely well and use some type of heat box to get all the bubbles out and for the screen protector to really perfect itself And as for the protuding camera lens, i am not worried at all about getting scratched because its covered in sapphire lens, almost essentially unscratchable, its a 9 on Moh's scale out of 10(10 being diamond)Nice size, solid button feedback, Touch ID works perfect, excellent camera and solid battery life for my usage.Cliff Notes: Pros: Great battery life, awesome screen [reading], good camera Cons: Unusable with one-hand; (Apple) software is lacking.Camera is great, and the fingerprint sensor is awesome.my .02$ I have the 4.7. coming from a 5s pro's Camera great Battery great screen color A+, screen coating A+, Brightness A++ Cons: camera lens pokes out imho the foot print is to big, screen size is ok but the phone as a whole feel to big for a 4.7 inch i think it's missing the apple quality design/feel.Lovely phone, best build phone ever and the camera is astonishing, i have never used a better camera on a phone.Glad it worked out for you - and now you have an entertaining story to boot (though it would be even better if the first person to get it had opened it and it fell flat on the ground in front of a TV camera.Camera is awesome, battery life is on point, and the screen is absolutely stunning.I'm not telling anyone what to get..based on what you use it for the 6+ will be awesome..great screen, awesome camera with the OIS, excellent battery, etc.- Both Phones are as fast if not a BIT faster than the 5S 6: - The perfect portable size for all hand sizes - Performance is 5-10 percent better than Plus - Easier to Read, A bit better to type than 5/5S 6 Plus: - Perfect size for bigger hands - Better for pictures and movies than 6 - Camera gives you 3 extra stops in low light taking portraits compared to 6 - Performance is 5-10 percent less than 6 - Easier to Read, Easier to TypeApple iPhone 6 Plus PROS Large, beautiful display Great camera with optical image stabilization Long battery life Fast performance CONS NFC can only be used for mobile paymentsA great camera, a great screen, and great battery life.In other words, you don't really know what you're talking about and should probably just get a dedicated camera if it's of such concern to you because I hate to break it to you but the camera on an iPhone is NEVER going to be that great. There are currently plenty of great options for you without having to wait for an Apple dedicated camera. The camera and it looks like Apple nailed it with screen size / design - retaining that iconic Apple'sh bezel thus, distinguishing it instantly vs. other non-iDevices; for it's lightness and thinness / width and volume - it looks like perfect fit for me (a big challenge for my pockets and fashion looks but I have solutions or way around to this, so let's see).I'm not worried about the protruding camera (I've had an iPod Touch for ages and the camera isn't affected at all, nor is it very noticeable) but those antenna lines look terrible and there's still way too much bezel. Its a big beautiful camera, takes great shots (when I remember to carry it) But all my pics are taken on my iPhone because it is small, portable, and always with me.I just think there's something amazing about seeing the world evolve from a place where phones were huge plastic boxes that were attached to the wall with a wire and computers were the whole floor of a city block and only NASA and the IRS had them to today where we're debating whether a SIX OUNCE computer that's about 70mm thick, no bigger than a checkbook, can process MILLIONS of times more data than those old machines, is a still and video camera, a photo editor, a phone, a text messager, a Web browser, a motion sensor, a game system, includes a built in monitor, a rechargable battery that will power it all day and a high definition screen... is too big to fit in our pockets when we bend over to tie our shoes.I'll get the 6..it's $100 cheaper, bigger than my 5 screen, will fit in one hand, will fit in my pocket, an upgrade from my 5 camera, and I won't look foolish holding an iPad up to my ear for calls.I could have played The Great Carnac and predicted that the 6 camera was going to be the same way, but had other things going on... Those that seek to romp around free from encumbrance (naked) might find this a reason to buy at least a small case of some kind...You can get the smaller iPhone 6, but have worse battery live and a worse camera (no OIS), for 100$ less... OR bigger iPhone 6 Plus, with bigger and slightly sharper screen, noticeably better battery life, but crappier performance (especially if they keep 1gb of RAM).I would really like the OIS for the camera and the landscape dual pane mode for apps looks awesome (Though I find it annoying that they didn't add faces to iMessage on the 6...it already increased width from the 5s, the icons would fit fine.)With the 5.5 inch high resolution screen I can finally use my iPhone kind of like an old view camera, which is what I wanted to do with my iPad, but it's just too large for that kind of thing. So basically you can choose smaller screen (lower res, although still great), worse camera, but better performance... OR...Now on to my complaint the camera sticking out the back... Beautiful front and would be a beautiful back except I have a bubble sticking out of it that looks like an afterthought.Agreed, maybe I'll change my mind once I have one but I've tried the Galaxy Note 3 before and hated how it two-hands was an absolute requirement to function At the moment the Xperia Z3 Compact is my personal favorite device on the horizon based on its compact size for one-handed use, flagship specs (snapdragon 801, 2gb RAM, micro SD, 20mp camera) and great battery size at 2600mAh.I want to stick with Apple, but for me to do so here's what I need: - A smarter, more intuitive and forward thinking iOS 8 - A better camera with improved flash - Sapphire screen (Not a fan of screen protectors, also not a fan of scratches on my screen) - Wireless Charging (Probably the feature I want most on the next iPhone) -Better battery life (No real complaints about the battery life of my 5, but improvements can, and should, be made whenever possible) - NFC (I want to link my debit card to my phone for fast payments) - An aluminum back that doesn't scratch up so easily when using the phone without a case (The iPhone 5 is gorgeous and looks/feels best when used without a case.I even like the protruding camera, because to me it is a sign that apple didn't cheap out on the camera to make the design perfect, and that is a step closer to them not prioritizing design over functionality.Just looking at the best phones out there at this moment, the Galaxy S5, is an amazing phone, amazing screen and camera, super fast quad core processor, silky smooth operation.I was lucky enough to get a phone with brilliant battery life in comparison to my two prior faulty iPhone 5's (not replaced due to battery - the first due to busted speaker in the ear piece, plus dirt under camera lens, the second due to no phone functionality working at all).I'm vain but not vain I still don't really know what to do though...yes I can wait...but the thought of having a camera and a voice recorder with me everywhere I go is really tempting. So I wouldn't exactly say I am excited about the iPhone 6, since I am getting one regardless, but there are 3 things that could make me excited: a 5'5" screen, considerably better battery and a better camera (which I think the 5 has a decent camera already).Better camera, optics and sensor with a higher megapixel count and phenomenal shots, 1080p capture, for its day second to none for a smart phone. And the switch to the A7 with phenomenal performance and 64bit architecture (with the A8 instruction set and new GPU), DDR 3 RAM (w/a 4mb 'on die SoC' buffer), fingerprint scan system second to none and a wicked camera (1080p is truly amazing, still capture is definitely a well refined with an awesome and perfect for sensor size 8mp, f2.2 with 10fps full Rez bursts as long as you hold the shutter down), continued progression of their IPS display technology and implementation..the 5s is AS good as ANY of the flagship Android 2014 handsets. The Nexus 5 for me has been great, it was my first 4G phone (London) and signal is great, battery was a bit meh but I wiped my phone and has since doubled, the camera is good enough, the 4.2.2 update fixed the slow focusing.Even the f/2 aperture for camera shots is really great quality for a phone camera, and looks great air played on my TV.No carrier bloat, fast updates, great camera, everything working smoothly - outstanding. And, like you say, a good camera app fills in some of the gap -- my favorite is ProCamera because it has lots of good stuff for Video, too (like recording in 720p for less insane file sizes). You agree not to misuse the Service or Device, including but not limited to: (a) reselling or rebilling our Service; Too much white and loss of colors indoorsI can't copy and paste worth a damn and it takes too long just to answer the phone or open the camera. On launch day when I was standing in line a girl next to me was telling me how lousy the camera in her Galaxy was and was showing me pics on her phone that she was unhappy with because they had bad color or came out blurred. That's a beautiful bird, but please don't take this the wrong way, I'm strictly talking about the horrible smearing of details from the iPhone 6 camera. The Moto X in general was a very average phone though - bad battery life (go search forums endless complaints), bad AMOLED screen (whites are really bad and fuzzy text), and the camera was the trifecta of bad.Sorry I'm being mean I don't think the iPhone 6 is that bad of a camera I'm just very picky.I would also put the 5 ahead of the 6 because I like clean designs and while I can live with them the protruding camera and the antenna bands look quite bad to me on the 6 (and the design more boring in general).I'm in a similar boat, coming to the end of my 2 year contract with my 5 and I was all set and excited for the 6 but once I tried one in the store, I just wasn't happy with the way it felt in my hand, and now I'm thinking that I might just stick with my 5, it's still just as speedy as ever and just feels nice in my hand, I mean, that new screen is nice and all but I'm not sure it's really worth the money, maybe I'll cave eventually but I'm thinking I'll wait for the 6S and hope they make the camera lens flush again, and remove the silly plastic lines on the back. It's really annoying having such a great camera, but having to crop EVERY photo so it can be shown full screen on my TV.I almost got the 6+ because of the advice I received here, a great camera was the priority but I preferred the smaller iPhone 6, luckily I wasn't convinced and I'm happy that I've been taught to critically think, seems others have notI had 2.3 gingerbread android phone for 18 months and while android itself was fun to use the weak hardware and lack of regular updates let the experience down considerably. So much stuff could be done even without having to root your phone. Then I switched to Lumia 520 and it was a breath of fresh air the simple yet elegant ui is great windows phone 8 is a cool ecosystem.Just this week I bought iPhone 3GS with ios 6 which is a little inferior to iphone 6 i would guess and I like the OS it's smooth and fluid and the phone is also well built although camera quality is not so good but everything else is good.So I like all 3 platforms equally well.To those saying to "Buy a 5s": - Worse camera for both video and picture taking - Worse processer - Worse battery life - Sharp edged design - Thicker - No NFC (Yes, ApplePay is a big deal) Those are sacrifices people will make when purchasing last year's 4" model. The Z1 C has an inferior screen--lines are visible at certain angles, a lesser mono speaker that distorts, definitely inferior camera despite it being 20 megapixels. And that same Nexus 4 had a worse camera, worse screen, worse performance (CPU and GPU), worse battery life, didn't have iMessage, didn't have apps as good as iOS, didn't have as good accessories and many more things...Example: Angry Birds 2009 - 18mb file size Angry Birds 2014 on a larger screen iPhone 6 - 72mb 3.2mp camera 0.4~mb VGA video 1 minute 33mb 8.0mp camera 1.7~mb 1080 video 1 minute 142mb I hope my question made sense..Ugly antenna plastic piece, and camera sticking out like sore thumb. The back looks ugly (IMO) and the protruding camera is ugly and will probably annoy the hell out of me if it wobbles on a flat surface. Was going to buy a 5.5 incher -expected it to be $100 more than the counter part - Check, aint mad cause its better -Was going to get 32GB for the price of $400 - Im getting an extra 32GB for the price I was gonna pay CHECK -Has better battery, screen, camera, ipad landscape - Check -Releases same day as 4.7 - Check Everything I was worried about was alleviated. The iPhone 6 was the first iPhone I was going to skip a case... now.. BLEH... protruding camera is so absurd.. make the damn phone thicker and add more battery.. CMON Ive!Make the front camera not so great so you don't need to see as much of peoples ugly faces...There are clearly trade offs in smart phone cameras, but a lot of credible reviews rank the 5s camera at the top of the heap overall. If their happened to be a Target you might be in luck, they have some pretty insane surveillance, I saw them pull someones credit card number off a camera that wasn't even zoomed in and it was like crystal clear, Target even has a forensics division...that was back in '07 too....but I'm betting any nice mall should have surveillance cameras. The Moto X is has great reviews but I'm a bit turned off by its midlevel specs, plus I've heard the camera isn't that great. But my relatives using nexus 4 complain of bad battery life and I've read bad reviews about camera of nexus 5.Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Moto X is a little bit pricey for what it offers (it's no more the latest and greatest and sports a mediocre camera) ...Seasoned professionals with thousands of dollars of camera equipment can get those same artifacts if a cheap UV filter or cheap rotating polarizer is used.Nothing really I have my wifi and Bluetooth on, but I turned off most the the location services I don't need and left only the ones I need like camera, find my iphone etc, with everything thing on I should get close to 7-9 hours, but to be honest I mostly used it so far for normal usage, no map usage today such as Waze, it drains battery power like mad, I'll post update lasted tomorrow after using Waze to show the difference in battery power.I actually had my iPhone 5 replaced today which had the same issue but it was replaced because it was getting noticeably worse service and there was a lot of dust in the camera lens which was throwing off pictures and also the phone was dropping service but anyway, my battery drain is gone, plus especially on "4G" not LTE, its not draining even close to as bad as before even with only 1-3 dots of serviceIt's crazy when the ipad retina cost only $500 and the iPod touch 32GB cost only $300 The only better thing about the iPhone is the camera and the newer hardware The loan is stupid because the phone companies are greedy to charge people $80 a month for 2 years is insaneI remember feeling somewhat disappointed overall when I got it, and very disappointed with the camera.this is my expectations/wishlist for the iphone 5 -8 megapixel camera -hd front facing camera -A5 1GHz dual-core chip -some changes to design -7.5mm depth -4" display -better battery life (average 1 extra hour on all battery specs) -external keyboard (dont think it will happen but would be nice) -3d screen (doubtfull for the iphone 5 but hopefully soon) -death grip fix -live wallpaper (seen it on jailbroken ipads and it looks amazing) -im deffinately not expecting apple to do all of the things in my list on the iphone 5 but it would be nice P.S.A Low Reflective Screen Mode For When You Wish To Read Ebooks On The iPhone Not as much real estate wasted on the front of the phone as current iPhones (The black part on the top and bottom of the iphone need to be much smaller, basically, almost all of the front of the phone should be the screen) It's ugly how much space/real estate is wasted on the current design of the front of the iPhone Front facing camera so that we could make videocalls, atleast while connected to Wifi N iChat Support Flash Support (I want to access hulu from my iphone damn it!)
backup
and backup to external drives, my favorite being the WD "My Passport" Ultra 2tb (now on Amazon for $109) Favorite file syncing software is GoodSync I do file syncs vs backup to one big backup file to reduce risk in some proprietary backup format. There are mounds more settings in iOS (which can be overwhelming at first) but you get more control over what you want to control such as fine grained notification control, permissions management and a smart backup solution. You agree not to misuse the Service or Device, including but not limited to: (a) reselling or rebilling our Service; (b) using the Service or Device to engage in unlawful activity, or in conduct that adversely affects our customers, employees, business, or any other person(s), or that interferes with our operations, network, reputation, or ability to provide quality service, including but not limited to the generation or dissemination of viruses, malware or "denial of service" attacks; (c) using the Service as a substitute or backup for private lines or dedicated data connections; (d) tampering with or modifying your T-Mobile Device; (e) "spamming" or engaging in other abusive or unsolicited communications, or any other mass, automated voice or data communication for commercial or marketing purposes; (f) reselling T-Mobile Devices for profit, or tampering with, reprogramming or altering T-Mobile Devices for the purpose of reselling the T-Mobile Device; (g) using the Service in connection with server devices or host computer applications, including continuous Web camera posts or broadcasts, automatic data feeds, automated machine-to-machine connections or peer-to-peer (P2P) file-sharing applications that are broadcast to multiple servers or recipients, "bots" or similar routines that could disrupt net user groups or email use by others or other applications that denigrate network capacity or functionality; (h) accessing, or attempting to access without authority, the information, accounts or devices of others, or to penetrate, or attempt to penetrate, T-Mobile's or another entity's network or systems; (i) running software or other devices that maintain continuously active Internet connections when a computer's connection would otherwise be idle, or "keep alive" functions (e.g.Worst case scenario, you find the backup problematic, you erase all content and settings and setup phone as new.
access
The plastic cover has perfect fit & finish and crucially, not only does it allow access to the removable battery, but most people would have it covered by a case.Cradlepoint MBR1400 with usb Pantech UML295 is a great enterprise class router with external antenna capabilities for the 4g and WiFi Jetpack works great for basic home WiFi / 4g access but MBR gives you full router options and you can always take the usb Pantech UML295 with you when you travel3) The device access discounts are nice and worth it.You will need to open your iPhone 5s to be able to view the volume button contacts, and slide something (I used a tiny piece of paper ) inside the gap that makes your volume keys jiggle.... You will need a pentalobular screwdriver (the one that was required to open the iPhone 5) and a suction cup (the kind that you stick on windows and mirror)... just follow the couple of steps on iFixIt website: It worked for me... you must not be scared of opening your iPhone, and be careful enough not to break any connection wires under the screen (read the above iFixIt link for more info) Unfortunately, if it's the power button you want to fix, you wont be able to do it my way My power button jiggles a tiny bit, but it's hardly noticeable... when the iphone was opened I noticed there was no way to properly see the button and gain access to itso I called I got everything I have, they took the access fee off, the 911 fee off and I kept the: 6 gig 30 27 for my phone 200 minutes unlimited incoming and after 6 2500 txt caller id visual voicemail and txt who called for 75 plus tax I didn't want to push my luck with the guy he was very nice to me as I was nice to himthe screen is bigger, but the only place i noticed it was in angry birds where all the angles were wrong... :-/ but by far is the fingerprint security option, and by this i mean that for the past 2 years i turned off the passcode option as I'm just not that issued with people i know having access to my phone, but was a "little" worried if i lost it, but the fingerprint option is awesome, full lock, but a 2 second thumbprint and its unlocked.

ois also works great for video I've seen tests where the ois 6 plus on video was superior to the 6 ois has a magnetic ring and this magnetic ring is what keeps the lens from moving from what i have read the magnetic protruding ring does not care if you are recording video, taking still pictures, or you are in low light. You know every modern smart phone camera can take beautiful pictures. They can even post pictures after they sit on their phone and claim under the oath of the internet that it was always in their front pocket, in a case, and that they wear baggy microfiber pants because they are so terrified of bending their precious phone. The one thing that has me amazed, I use to have to take a few pictures to get one in focus the way I want, the new 6+ with the stabilization almost always gives me great focus!Feels great, battery can go for 2 days, takes great pictures, and the screen is awesome. The battery life has been great, the low light pictures are very impressive. The pictures on this one are awesome and colors are vibrant.Beautiful screen and great pictures. Also the resolution of the screen is gorgeous, looking at pictures and videos in that big ass screen is delicious.Looking forward to fancy pictures, ill be taking a picture of the box once it comes, just because the boxes always look so fancy. Now I know some people like their phones big - the 6 is great for watching videos, pictures and displaying plenty of text, and for those people, this phone is perfect! The screen is gorgeous, the pictures are gorgeous, and the phone itself is so well designed.Yet people that ordered the same phone hours after I did are happy texting and taking awesome pictures.- Both Phones are as fast if not a BIT faster than the 5S 6: - The perfect portable size for all hand sizes - Performance is 5-10 percent better than Plus - Easier to Read, A bit better to type than 5/5S 6 Plus: - Perfect size for bigger hands - Better for pictures and movies than 6 - Camera gives you 3 extra stops in low light taking portraits compared to 6 - Performance is 5-10 percent less than 6 - Easier to Read, Easier to TypeA lot of people thought the glass panels on the back of leaked iPhone 5 pictures was really ugly, but most people now think the iPhone 5/5S looks great. The g2 takes amazing pictures in the right situation, however, the shutter speed is too slow to capture my daughter moving around which is the main use for my phone. It's actually been kind of nice not worrying about how many pictures I have saved, taking tons of videos, and putting my entire music collection on the phone.Well I am glad Im not the only one who feels the pictures look weird.I've never, never seen a bad photo on any of my older iPhones, my wife's 6 and my 6+ are also doing great, but ALL of them produce extremely bad pictures even if you zoom in just a tiny bit.I realize I didn't start using my phone until the battery was already around 70%, and that I was more-or-less using the phone non-stop for this period of time, but this kind of battery life still seems abysmal, especially for simple tasks like web browsing, streaming music with the screen turned off, taking a few pictures, etc.THe gold actually didnt look as bad as I thought it did in pictures but I am still glad I got a silver one...ohh and only 2 people there getting phonesIt was a nice phone but it didn't take great pictures and it had started to get laggy and glitchy at times. My pano pictures are shocking, they are bent in the middle, completely unacceptable as you can see below.I actually had my iPhone 5 replaced today which had the same issue but it was replaced because it was getting noticeably worse service and there was a lot of dust in the camera lens which was throwing off pictures and also the phone was dropping service but anyway, my battery drain is gone, plus especially on "4G" not LTE, its not draining even close to as bad as before even with only 1-3 dots of service

You deserve perfect cuz you paid for perfect , your not the bad guy cuz you demand your phone work , that's called taking a stand and not letting subpar quality control affect you because it shouldn't affect one of us , we as consumers should stick together on something like this and give each other the knowledge to get the job done , not doubt and call names like children Than why after 3 white box replacements through the mail with the same manager on the case did I get upgraded to a 5s white 16 gig , I'm begging people to not make statements that aren't true , if you suffer through 3 defective iphone 5 they will upgrade you to a 5s because after 3 refurbs they must give you a new device and they don't make new 5 anymore they only have refurb white box , I video tapped all 3 of my white box unboxings right from the signing to the opening and they all had scratched screens or something else and I had the proof , not only did I get upgraded I received a call from Erik from corporate who was stunned with what I went through and sent me a 32 gig iPod touch , just please stop assuming people are trying to commit fraud because we aren't , we are simply here trying to help each other get on the right path to enjoying their devices and if sharing my story and the email address of the managers that helped me gets something done for someone else and helps out one more lost person going through what I did that makes me feel great , we should all recieve perfect devices the first time and that don't happen but we have rights and should use themJust sent this email to the address that was suggested earlier....couldnt be more disappointed in AT&T right now: Good morning Mr. Stephenson, First off let me start by telling you how utterly disappointed I am in the preorder process for the iphone 6 plus.

It would be nice if the lock screen actually showed new mail you receive or some kind of notification on the lock screen itself...I got my iPhone 6 in the mail yesterday, and even though it's nice and has a beautiful display, it just feels too big!You deserve perfect cuz you paid for perfect , your not the bad guy cuz you demand your phone work , that's called taking a stand and not letting subpar quality control affect you because it shouldn't affect one of us , we as consumers should stick together on something like this and give each other the knowledge to get the job done , not doubt and call names like children Than why after 3 white box replacements through the mail with the same manager on the case did I get upgraded to a 5s white 16 gig , I'm begging people to not make statements that aren't true , if you suffer through 3 defective iphone 5 they will upgrade you to a 5s because after 3 refurbs they must give you a new device and they don't make new 5 anymore they only have refurb white box , I video tapped all 3 of my white box unboxings right from the signing to the opening and they all had scratched screens or something else and I had the proof , not only did I get upgraded I received a call from Erik from corporate who was stunned with what I went through and sent me a 32 gig iPod touch , just please stop assuming people are trying to commit fraud because we aren't , we are simply here trying to help each other get on the right path to enjoying their devices and if sharing my story and the email address of the managers that helped me gets something done for someone else and helps out one more lost person going through what I did that makes me feel great , we should all recieve perfect devices the first time and that don't happen but we have rights and should use themCollege mail rooms have terrible security and are usually operated by dumb students.

The leap from the 5S to the 6 didnt feel like too much of a change really at all besides few obvious welcome changes, but I have switched since to the 6 Plus from the 6, and I have to say the Plus is absolutely incredible and feels like a major big upgrade to iPhone(the screen and battery on the Plus is simply just absolutely fantastic and dramatically better then what Apple has ever offered in the past) and that going to the 6 Plus from the 6 alone feels like a awesome nice upgrade and from the 5s to the 6 Plus is defitnetly absolutely a big difference and feel and change and feels like a very awesome upgrade Keep it, by February 2015 all apps and app updates submitted have to have 64 bit support, which means 35-40% speed boost increase in apps that dont use 64 bit code (plenty to name that dont use 64 bit code yet ; Netflix, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube , Google Maps, bunch others) so roughly around 30% speed boost increase for 5S and 35-40% faster applications for 6/6 Plus for Touch ID my advice and tip to you is register your same finger twice in Touch ID, it makes it tons more accurate and much more consistent and essentially works "perfect" for me after doing this trick, try it Lastly download a good camera app like Camera+, it really does make a difference..I have been experiencing something similar though not as bad as what you described plus touch ID fails most of the time, i'm not mad, that's what happens when you buy products on launch day.Touch ID is just amazing, camera is outstanding and the screen size is perfect..It has an: Awesome camera Awesome screen Awesome speaker Awesome thinness Awesome processor Awesome Touch ID Awesome design Awesome flash Awesome battery life compared to all new smart phones it just trounces them. Not at all, my iPhone 6 is perfect and it feels really premium imo, I love the camera actually protruding from the phone ever so slightly, the dark metal shiny ring around the camera is a nice touch.May still eventually get the 6 for Apple Pay and Touch ID which my 5 doesnt have but still worried about one-handed use on the 6...glad that I learned I favor portability and one-handed use over all else and, in that respect, the 5 is a pretty nice phone.- dead pixel - backlight bleed - uniformity (one side darker, yellower) - smudge / smear inside glass - dust inside screen - dust or dirt inside glass (outside of screen area) - recessed / uneven volume button (on one but not another) - sticky vibration button (normal ones have a nice firm click) - uneven pressure / sticky / unbalance on sleep wake button (normal ones have a nice click to it) - uneven home button pressure (perfect ones have a nice click to it, but this is personal preference) - uneven gap when assembled (run your finger on the edge on each side and compare for your 6/6+) - dust inside camera lens - general cosmetic scratches / chips / dings (Apple logo, aluminum, buttons, sim slot) And this list hasn't even covered technical issues like wifi, Bluetooth, Touch ID, vibration rattle, etc.I'm coming from a 4s so I love everything about it...it's sleek, the touch screen is nice and responsive, the touch id amazing..great phone..Nice size, solid button feedback, Touch ID works perfect, excellent camera and solid battery life for my usage.Coming from the 5, I was excited for Touch ID, and it hasn't disappointed.its ios and a 5.5 screen so i am going to buy but its that damn touch id taking up so much room and apple's design to keep everything symmetrical which i like but damn look at those bezels up top and bottom!!And the leather is just a nice touch to an unbelievably nice phone.I'm not worried about the protruding camera (I've had an iPod Touch for ages and the camera isn't affected at all, nor is it very noticeable) but those antenna lines look terrible and there's still way too much bezel.I been dreaming of a iPhone that as thin as a iPod touch, ever since iPod touches came out i would hold them in my hand and be like wow imagine one day a iPhone becomes this thin.. That day is coming now , i know some people dont care about thinness at all and yes the device being ultra ultra thin isnt the biggest thing to a phone, but the i6 is going to be a absolute dam joy to hold in hand, feel in hand, and to just look at.Apple is usually the first to popularize awesome features such as 7 hour battery life on the MacBook Air (and then to an amazing 12 hours), retina display on a laptop, Touch ID on the iPhone, etc.It feels nice with the candyshell and touch ID is worth every penny.I love my 5s, I cannot imagine using an iPhone without Touch ID now, but the 5c is certainly a great device and a great alternative to the 5s for people who want a different shape, a different feel, and a bit of colour.[slighty] bigger screen would be nice, improved touch id would be nice, I'm pretty satisfied with the camera. It's definitely worth the upgrade, and if you're not interested in a bigger screen, the 5s is a great device with Touch ID (which works great) and is probably the most future-proof iPhone released yet.You deserve perfect cuz you paid for perfect , your not the bad guy cuz you demand your phone work , that's called taking a stand and not letting subpar quality control affect you because it shouldn't affect one of us , we as consumers should stick together on something like this and give each other the knowledge to get the job done , not doubt and call names like children Than why after 3 white box replacements through the mail with the same manager on the case did I get upgraded to a 5s white 16 gig , I'm begging people to not make statements that aren't true , if you suffer through 3 defective iphone 5 they will upgrade you to a 5s because after 3 refurbs they must give you a new device and they don't make new 5 anymore they only have refurb white box , I video tapped all 3 of my white box unboxings right from the signing to the opening and they all had scratched screens or something else and I had the proof , not only did I get upgraded I received a call from Erik from corporate who was stunned with what I went through and sent me a 32 gig iPod touch , just please stop assuming people are trying to commit fraud because we aren't , we are simply here trying to help each other get on the right path to enjoying their devices and if sharing my story and the email address of the managers that helped me gets something done for someone else and helps out one more lost person going through what I did that makes me feel great , we should all recieve perfect devices the first time and that don't happen but we have rights and should use themI'm sorry but Mary realized how much time and effort I put into getting a good phone and I could have switched to android but I stayed the coarse and now I have a new 5s and she gave me a black leather case , then after I emailed Tim cook about the ordeal Erik gustafson calls me and hooks me up with a free 32 gig iPod touch for my daughter , don't let the negative people affect you , there are good people at apple and I gave you there names and emails and you should be treated like gold now , I hope all works out buddy have a happy new year and after 7 replacements I would demand a new device and then you will get upgraded don't be afraid to ask because you have rightsMine doesn't rattle, neither it restarts by itself, the touch id works perfectly every single time , I have no problems with signal or wifi and the battery last all day using it heavily; I wanted to change my 5s 16g for a 32g but now I'm honestly scared to see all the problems other people have with their phone, I think I got lucky, and now I won't change it.I do like Touch ID, and sometimes it does take an extra try for it recognize my finger, but worse comes to worst I can't still use my passcode.Ya, my 2nd gen iPod touch is in great condition and the battery is amazing compared to my iPod touch 4 which lasts maybe 20 minutes with brightness on high.On a small screened iPhone or iPod touch, looking at the prior design language looks garish and proportionally awkward compared to iOS 7/8.I actually got mine replaced under warranty due to that problem (it started within a few months of having it and got worse as the months went on and I finally decided to get it replaced before warranty was gone cause it was getting pretty bad) and then used assistive touch on the new one to keep it from happening again. What I find annoying with the Touch ID/Passcode is that if you try and delete an email from the lockscreen, it then brings up the keypad for your passcode, and then goes back to the lockscreen...makes the whole process a lot more cumbersome. And as dissatisfied as I still am with Siri's limitations, it is dwarfed by how dissatisfied I am with Apple's touch keyboard experience on this tiny screen.Touch ID is great, but really not worth the upgrade.Mine is a launch 5s and it was working perfectly (with a rare miss here and there, but not a big deal at all, I'd say 98% of the time it was fine)... we flew from RDU out to SJC a couple of weeks ago, and my touch sensor got worse and worse for the week and a half we were there.I won't lie, I was too lazy to type iPod touch, damn, now you made me do it.Every time I register my fingers, Touch ID works perfectly for a day and then progressively gets worse and worse. The s is nice but the touch ID just makes slide to unlock for notifications annoying. It's crazy when the ipad retina cost only $500 and the iPod touch 32GB cost only $300 The only better thing about the iPhone is the camera and the newer hardware The loan is stupid because the phone companies are greedy to charge people $80 a month for 2 years is insaneGlad I am not the only one on my iPod Touch it too is a fuzzy ugly mess and it is the only icon that is not Retina.
