So I'm definitely happy they're upgrading the 32 to 64 but if the entry was 32 then that would be perfect for my iPad storage.Must be lucky, my iPad 4 and iPhone 6 plus have perfect screens. As far as the processor, I really don't mind which device has the faster processor, though it'd be nice to have those really great graphics on the Air 2, I really don't care whether my iPhone or iPad has the faster processor.out of the past few iOS devices: iPad 2 was pretty bad iPad 3/4 not bad at all iPhone 5 was awful iPhone 5S wasn't horrible unless you wanted Gold IMO, the iPhone 6 Plus availability is the worst I've seen in any iPhone release, particularly 64GB.iPad mini- perfect iPad mini retina - perfect iPad Air 2 4G - perfectReplacement ok. IPhone 3GS - perfect iPhone 4 - perfect iPhone 4 white - perfect iPhone 4s - perfect iPhone 5- perfect iPhone 5s - perfect then lost on holiday, replacement, perfect iPhone 6 Plus - perfect iPad 2 3G - perfect iPad 3 3G - perfect until about 8 months old, 1 inch line of dead pixels.I spent a few days last week watching craigslist last week and bought a sealed iPhone 6 Plus 64GB Gray last Friday for $725.00 - Activated, went to Apple store grabbed a leather case and an extra lighting cable for use with an old iPad charger for use as my travel charger (Supposedly it charges faster with the bigger iPad charger) Anyway, if you're tired of waiting or don't want to be stuck in a contract paying way over full price for a phone, this is a great alternative.well i went back to my 5C and honestly its fluid and the right size for portability I have a rMini and macbook air so apple still in my life... What I found was apple puts alot of effort into their macbooks - look at yosemite - its amazing fluid fast and runs amazingly on the macbook air, secondly ipads - these are also great for what they do just look at the new ipad air specs are amazing...I am happy to report impressive battery life since the update so it seems to be working well on my iPhone 6 iPhone 6 64GB (AT&T) // iPad Mini (Wifi) // 2013 MacBook Pro RetinaI love the camera in the 6 Plus, it is truly amazing that we have a phone camera with optical image stabilization, just amazing, You only see this kinda stuff in bigger cameras, and not in phones, that's a + for the 6+ On the other hand, I've never owned an iPad, but I always wanted one since the first one.Another contributing factor was owning an iPad mini and using that along with my iP5S sitting on my couch thinking "Wouldn't it be nice to have something bigger than my phone, smaller than the mini and still fit in my pocket..." Tastes evolve and needs change.Basically I see the ipad as a compromised experience useful when I have something to carry it around in but is still awkward to take out the laptop (basically the compromise is worth the convenience). The ads like the pencil ad if iPad Air is also awesome amazing concept in 30 seconds and ends with a joke..My iPad 4 is perfect and my old iPhone 4 is perfect (or near enough).Much better camera, better apps, seamless integration with my iPad Mini, and of course, seamless iTunes integration. But recently I stopped using one on my iPad due to the fit with my favorite keyboard.Unfortunately im rushed off my feet so much on the shop floor that I don't have time to rush back and forth my desk to use my iPad air, and it's too big to fit in my suit pocket, while the 6 Plus is big enough to do both jobs and is small enough to fit in my jacket pocket. What's important is that they were the first to make these products desirable; and the Macintosh and iPad were desirable because they were easy to use and good to look at.I have always felt like the iPad Air, while a very nice product, was a bit of a force fit between my phone and macbook. But for apps that don't, like magazines and journals, the problem is, unlike the iPad, which is more "square" and the pages of magazines fit the whole iPad screen, the narrower iPhone 6/6 Plus doesn't fill the whole screen to fit the page on most magazines and such.So we aren't trying to "fit" the 6+ into our existing workflow (like we did with the 4S->5 transition), we're supposed to adjust our workflow to fit the device (like we did when we first got an iPad, iPod or AppleTV).Take Blizzard's Hearthstone, it works great on an iPad and while they are working on an iPhone version, I think that is going to be a much different experience because the cards will necessarily have to be shrunk a lot to fit the interface.I have some great handmade bags on Etsy that I bought mainly for use with my iPad mini and I'm finding they are great to use with my new 6 Plus phone as well.I agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GBWouldn't fit in some of my pockets, looked like I had an ipad at the gym, couldn't run with it, annoying to use one handed, etc...The 6 fit perfect and is so practical, when I need a bigger screen I will whip out my iPad.I've been looking all over and can't seem to find a "smart case" (similar to Apple's iPad Mini smart case) for the iPhone 6+.As such, was thinking...it would be perfect if Apple had a smart case for the phone like it does for the iPad mini (and of course for the iPad Air).I was excited when I heard about the first iPad, but I didn't buy the first version and I'm very happy I waited.I only really use my iPad mini in bed to watch Netflix so the smart case is perfect for that. And only the note added some functionality worth of changing my mac environment (imac, MBA, ipad retina, ipod classic, iPhone 5s) I managed to integrate android almost seamlessly and discovered it is a great os and learned quite a few things.I know it'll fit in my purse since I've been able to fit both iPad and Kindle Paperwhite 2 there (I'd just need to replace the PW2 with the 6+).I've been without the iPad for 8/9 months since I gave it away and was waiting for a phablet to replace it - that meant no eBooks in bed, camping, lazing around the couch etc Since then I've missed out on loads of great reads.. sounds sad, but I love my sci-fi and fantasy and its been a good year for it And no, I won't be buying wasteful paper books in 2014 before anyone suggests it.I'm planning on selling my iPad mini Retina as soon as I get my beloved sexy iPhone 6+ Silver 128GB.I'll get the 6..it's $100 cheaper, bigger than my 5 screen, will fit in one hand, will fit in my pocket, an upgrade from my 5 camera, and I won't look foolish holding an iPad up to my ear for calls. With the 5.5 inch high resolution screen I can finally use my iPhone kind of like an old view camera, which is what I wanted to do with my iPad, but it's just too large for that kind of thing.multiple browsers will not help, your iPhone + iPad will help more, no matter what the sites all get slammed i'm so excited, my favorite part is tracking the phone, i still have links to all the air traffic controlers!!"Magical & Revolutionary" was the original iPad hype, now as sales taper off the magic has evaporated.I mean on my black iPad Air the green smart cover looks great! In the extreme, the perfect iPad would be like a sheet of paper--thin and flexible. With an iphone and ipad, I'm kind of entreched in the IOS ecosystem and for me it works great.Creative applications (motion or still editing, music making and artistry, DJs and musicians...even productivity with iWork and 'fun' with the free iLife suite, as well as Microsoft's Offoce suite) and aggregation with your Mac, iPad and other iOS devices is the compelling & reasonable argument to make the change. My current iphone size is perfect and doesn't need to be the size of my ipad that also is the perfect size, and my ipad doesn't need to be the size of my imac that also is the perfect size.iOS7 was a nice update and made the my iPhone 5 feel like a new phone again and if nothing else the iPad Air I just purchased was nice due to it's speed and screen.Dear Members I would like to upgrade my iPhone 5 64 GB to iPhone 5S I have found that since I have the iPad 128 GB, I have not used the iPhone to its full capacity I was going to get the iPhone 5S 64G but the price difference between the 16 GB and 64 model makes me think whether it is worth it As I have the iPad 128 GB , I wonder whether it would be a waste to buy the iPhone 5S 64 GB Perhaps some of you are in the same situation or gve me ideas of situations in which having both with high capacity would be useful ThanksiPhone is smaller as a matter of convenience, while iPad is regarded as a device more keen to wider experiences, as screen real estate allows for more enjoyable movies and games experience, for instance.I had my nice lovely iPad replaced under AppleCare. My iPad Air has a gorgeous screen and I think to remember that Sharp made these screens (IGZO), so I don't think Sharp made the bad iPhone screens.my ipad air has a perfect screen and I'm getting upwards of 12 hours use out of it even with some gaming, the mini retina I bought had a perfect screen and good battery life, and safari doesn't crash on me.iPhone 3G - Good deal and really practical Magic Trackpad for the Macbook Air Magic Mouse for the Macbook Air Apple Wireless Keyboard for the Macbook Air Apple Superdrive for the Macbook Air (rarely ever use it)Hi everyone , I'm here to inform you all that I've solved this problem after battling for hours , I red a lot of post on various forums and tried , changed/removed security/encryption standards , changed DNS , Tried different channels , toggled genius in privacy ... etc but none worked I have a 5 year old netgear wifi router which worked just perfect with ipad , iPhone 4 & 4s but since I got i5 , I've faced serious wifi issues like , average browsing , ultra slow app store download speeds ... for a 10mb app it took more than 15 mins to complete , on 20 MBps broadband line .. After trying every solution out there I tried my friends Belkin and Netgear N series router , and everything worked perfect @ blazing speeds on both belkin & N series, found the difference almost instantly(on all my old devices as well) .I got lucky with iPad 3 and now my iPhone 5, both good and neutral white (both were pre-ordered and received on launch day) If it looks the same as a plain white sheet of paper I'm happy, that's the extent of my "testing".I find this annoying but even worse on my iPad which so many sites automatically load as mobile site. And if i were to compare my 6 Plus (slight yellow but I can live with that as it's actually better) to my ipad mini 3, my ipad mini 3 has the worst yellow tint and it's uneven, and I gave up on replacing because ALL of them will be like this and the QC is just bad.My mom had her iPad stolen once, I activated Find my iPhone on it prior but it did practically nothing...the guy that "found it" (he's got a record so I was weary) erased the whole thing....was sketchy overall and kind of pissed me off but oh well.I returned 3 iPad Airs with yellow screens last year before getting one that I was happy with and it is not perfect - just perfect enough for me.I swapped to a note 3 then S5 worst thing i have ever done with tech, especially with a MBPr and iPad.They don't play nice together.I already gave the solution for the phone..cheap dumb phone and ipad.If you want your phone for the 2 times a month someone calls you, buy a cheap dumb phone (you can get them for free with upgrade) and buy an ipad for your data needs.Get a cheap dumb phone for your emegrency calls, and get an ipad ..voice of reasonWhat's annoying is to carry both iPad and iPhone the same time and then later on during the day leaving iPad in the car when stopped for a diner at some place and realising damn I need the bigger screen when you start browsing net and apps while waiting for food. The iPad had issues with large dispay variation, excessive heat and overall mediocre performance.as for not trying hard enough - I got up at midnight and tried for 1.5 hours on my computer, iPad and iPhone- trying and trying - refreshing and refreshing - don't see how I could have done more - you either get through or you don't - pretty simple.I was just going to suggest one that can fit an iPad Mini but that thing is beautiful.Okay, now I'm hesitant about upgrading to an iPad Air, and I'm even hesitant about getting the iPhone 6 that I preordered yesterday.I then bought a rMini, the ram/tab situation was so appalling (much worse than my old iPad 3) I went back to laptops in a big way and bought a late '13 15" rmbp.I am afraid it might be the iPad 3 of the iPhones which had a worse performance than ipad 2 due to retinaWas going to buy a 5.5 incher -expected it to be $100 more than the counter part - Check, aint mad cause its better -Was going to get 32GB for the price of $400 - Im getting an extra 32GB for the price I was gonna pay CHECK -Has better battery, screen, camera, ipad landscape - Check -Releases same day as 4.7 - Check Everything I was worried about was alleviated.I read an article that Apple products was shocking people so bad that it killed a woman and another man got shocked by an iPad and it flew him across the room! After unboxing them it was kinda weird ; the gold 5s looks fake and the white iPad looks like a toy.I enjoy Apple products, and my iPhone 5s has been great, but this smart watch race is not going to go like the iPhone, or iPad did. They will mostly likely do both, launch app and have it float in the middle of the screen with black bars surrounding and then a stretch to fill screen option like the iPad, honestly the stretch wouldn't look bad since when the iPad did it to the 3.5 inch iPhone apps it still looked ok, I doubt a .7inch increase would be horrible.iPad 2, roughly two years old: Cycle count: 584 Design capacity: 6583 Full charge capacity: 6373 Status: Success Battery current capacity: 100% Battery is charging: False External charge capable: False External connected: True Fully charged: FalseI've had lots of iPods and an iPad and my phone was this cheap samsung intensity(a sliding phone...DUMB PHONE) then I got a blue 5c just a week or to ago.I had to pop in Verizon iPad SIM into iPhone 5 to check whether my phone was bad or the SIM was bad. Both display models, gray and white, had hideous yellow screens and HORRIBLE screen interlacing compared to the iPad 3 sitting next to them. It's crazy when the ipad retina cost only $500 and the iPod touch 32GB cost only $300 The only better thing about the iPhone is the camera and the newer hardware The loan is stupid because the phone companies are greedy to charge people $80 a month for 2 years is insaneI'm nervous about cutting down the iPad sim, but this would work great for me.Actually I don't find the iPad as enjoyable anymore now.. though I can't imagine how amazing an iPad with 300+ ppi would be.

I would be happy if they made the new phone thicker to include a bigger battery and bigger Camera lens to improve low light photos I am very happy with the current 6 design and will probably get the plus version next timeTook some great pics with the phone and when we got home, after texting the cute photos of our girl in costume, I ran to the store while my wife put our girl to sleep.Happy "taking your camera out on a nice day and taking awesome photos" to everyoneBut think about only one thing: if Apple could add a micro sd slot or a proprietary type of card for the iPhone and lock them only for the music this would be a great business.... Be honest 16 gb are enough for anything but music, videos photos and apps are very well fitted in the 16 gb space...So far, things I prefer about the 5.5 On-screen keyboard size The resolution of the display, fit much more on screen and photos look awesome The physical finish of the device, better than the 4.7 Stuff I prefer about the 4.7 More compact Easier one handed use Minor but noticeably better performance.I've got tons of great music (sequenced playlists - streaming is not the end all for music lovers), movies, pod-casts, loads of great apps, photos and videos on mine (128GB) and still have 52GB free. We've seen the photos taken from Apple - looking perfect, great lighting set-up.I agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GBVery happy with the 64GB 6 I got except Wish I got the 128GB due to lack of space for my photos hopefully iCloud Photo Library will fix this when it launches properly other wise very happy customer with the bigger screen better for web browsing and messagingI had exhibited my photos even made with my iPhone 4, so creativity is more important then anything (I have a nice DSLR with pro lenses for sharp, micro... images if I need features such as IS)... Now, I hold my 6 confidently, easely (I even have lond fingers), descretely if I want, screen size is perfect, nice for photo viewing, navigation, browsing internet, traveling to other places and speaking/making photos without drawing too much attention... Will defenately chose the same size the next time.Going to take my 6 plus in because my photos are terrible, but my mothers 6 plus takes gorgeous ones. The screen is amazing, photos are gorgeous, it's massive.. Can be hard to handle at times, but I know I'll get used to it!I am kind of glad that the 8MP stayed... the dimensions are just fine and the file size won't increase... unlike the quality of the photos.Having just come back from vacation, and looking at my photos, compared to what photos I saw on someone's S5 during that vacation, the difference is astounding, the S5 takes such amazing photos. This means that the iPhone 5S is the only phone worth using to take photos indoors, and in my experience the only one that gives worthwhile results.I discovered this when I was moving photos to my cloud drive but the app was just caching the photos and expanding the app, defeating the purpose of moving to the cloud. The sensor has to be bigger other wise you are just taking photos that take up more precious storage due to the larger file size.Like I said, the HTC One captures brilliant photos that are full-screen in both orientations, and they look great.- improved battery life (charging every day after heavy use is not a problem but a tad annoying) - lighter/sturdier design - live streaming - ability to create folders for photos on the phone - ability to cut/paste photos into new folders - free navigation if it looked like this I would be pretty happyI got so tired of taking photos using that small screen and then trying to process those photos on that tiny screen was even worse.Terrible, terrible photos out of this phone.Besides, nudes or not, it is kind of creepy that you are so desperate to get photos of a girl you are not even dating. No easy fix tape blurs photos I think this is very bad and sad ,maybe iPhone should state needs case immediately will break without warning since camera protrudes. The thing is I'm not going to notice little things such as some apps look fuzzy (not optimized yet hopefully), photos look fuzzy on the edges, back text is crooked, glass is partially separated in one spot, screen is yellow, etc etc without using my own for hours or a day or 2 so just looking at one for a few min isn't going to help aside from getting an overall picture of yes this looks great or not.Bear in mind that photos of these type of screen protectors on a white iPhone (like above) will make it look worse as the light refracts against the White glass screen and makes the edges look really bad.I tried some wallpapers which look nice in the photos app but when set as wallpaper, not so appealing because of shadowing.I'm not sure what kind of case I'll get-probably an invisishield for the front/back and possibly a bumper-although I hate cases on phones I'm a bit paranoid with all the broken glass photos popping up.

room
I think it would fit in the hands a little better and give room to either make the keyboard a little bigger or maybe add some of the nice new keys that landscape got.its ios and a 5.5 screen so i am going to buy but its that damn touch id taking up so much room and apple's design to keep everything symmetrical which i like but damn look at those bezels up top and bottom!!Lol exactly... she was worried about "pock-ability" but I showed her she still had plenty of room with her 5 and it's thinner...... She's going to gush over it (need that water proof sammy now) and I believe it will fit into her pocket just fine.I'm on the phone in a quiet room, walking and moving around, bending to pick something up from the floor, turning my head left and right while moving, and i hear the button clicking against the bezel.I want to keep this phone bad but constantly having no service and edge (just as useless, cant even make calls) in my own room is kind of a dealbreaker. For some reason I always think its really sad when I see such a beautifully designed device that is as large as a tablet/phablet but only 16GB...your going to be constantly clearing room....do yourself a favor because in the long run it will help and you might regret it far after the 14 or 30 days you get it...so many people I know regret getting the 16GB model....I feel almost bad!The bad thing is I've been sick for a couple days and have been napping on my couch, but since I can see the road and parking areas right in front of my living room windows, every time I start to doze I hear something and am gawking out the window thus thoroughly destroying my nap, which is making me feel worse from my sickies.Turn off all my home theatre , dims the lights on a ten minute timer to give me time to brush teeth etc I'm sure there's more but hey Siri looks an interesting feature for my uses just not overly keen on having to plug my iPhone in to use it cause means I'll need to buy a dock and I don't fancy shouting hey Siri I'm going toilet how many ducking times are you listening or what (from a other room) hahaI read an article that Apple products was shocking people so bad that it killed a woman and another man got shocked by an iPad and it flew him across the room!
game
they are on pace for 6 hours of usage which is not bad with so much Angry Birds, most people with 8 hours of usage do not have a game in their top 5 appsI agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GBFor the record, when I mean really bad, I don't mean it's bad in your traditional concert, sports game, etc.I just think there's something amazing about seeing the world evolve from a place where phones were huge plastic boxes that were attached to the wall with a wire and computers were the whole floor of a city block and only NASA and the IRS had them to today where we're debating whether a SIX OUNCE computer that's about 70mm thick, no bigger than a checkbook, can process MILLIONS of times more data than those old machines, is a still and video camera, a photo editor, a phone, a text messager, a Web browser, a motion sensor, a game system, includes a built in monitor, a rechargable battery that will power it all day and a high definition screen... is too big to fit in our pockets when we bend over to tie our shoes. There are people who will wait on line for 10 days to get tickets to a music festival or fly cross-country to attend a road football game, not sure what's so shocking about a tech fan wanting the latest and greatest shipped to his home as soon as possible.Lol... that would mean they need to remove every game that uses the accelerometer..... Realistically, I would think they can install some kind of OS bootup code and put some kind of global calibration override to tell the OS to pass along -4 (or whatever the offset is) as 0 to all the applications that calls for the accelerometer/gyroscope function.hey guys ive had my iphone 6 for a week now and i have ios 8.0.2 installed on it, and the battery life is just terrible, i have background app refresh completely off, email push is off and my email account is set to manual instead of fetch, i can't figure out why its so bad, i mean if i dont use the phone then the battery holds up i guess but if i use it to browse facebook or just play a game or whatever it is drainging really quickly.. i also have notifications turned off for nearly every app other than messages and facetime.. i cant figure out whats causing the drainage.. i have my brightness set to 1/4 of the full brightness as well so its not my brightness.I would even roll with having to sign a new two year contract with AT&T, or maybe sign with them getting a cheap free dumb phone and then go back tomorrow and play the lost my microsim game with them.
apps
Havent had any apps "reload on me" while using them and in app performance is extremely superb and great, playing Vainglory/asphalt 8 on the 6 Plus looks absolutely stunning and runs flawless tooThe leap from the 5S to the 6 didnt feel like too much of a change really at all besides few obvious welcome changes, but I have switched since to the 6 Plus from the 6, and I have to say the Plus is absolutely incredible and feels like a major big upgrade to iPhone(the screen and battery on the Plus is simply just absolutely fantastic and dramatically better then what Apple has ever offered in the past) and that going to the 6 Plus from the 6 alone feels like a awesome nice upgrade and from the 5s to the 6 Plus is defitnetly absolutely a big difference and feel and change and feels like a very awesome upgrade Keep it, by February 2015 all apps and app updates submitted have to have 64 bit support, which means 35-40% speed boost increase in apps that dont use 64 bit code (plenty to name that dont use 64 bit code yet ; Netflix, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube , Google Maps, bunch others) so roughly around 30% speed boost increase for 5S and 35-40% faster applications for 6/6 Plus for Touch ID my advice and tip to you is register your same finger twice in Touch ID, it makes it tons more accurate and much more consistent and essentially works "perfect" for me after doing this trick, try it Lastly download a good camera app like Camera+, it really does make a difference..Maybe I'm being a bit cynical but it feels a bit like a ploy for you to lose track of time while browsing the store or possibly fit more (paid) apps on the page.I am beyond sure as apps get optimized and iOS gets further updated and streamlined, the Plus is more then capable of running at 60 fps constant no lag, iOS 8 is defitnetly rushed out the door a bit...but it is also the biggest iOS update ever with over 4000 new API's ...i am sure they will fix performance and that stuttering, and also all app submissions by February 2015 need to be 64 bit capable, that alone right there switching the app from 32-bit to 64-bit gives a 10% performance increase right off the bat from the use of extra registers of the CPU(so next year we will get very nice performance gains as apps start getting 64 bit capable) Anyways going off topic a bit lol, but I agree the Plus is defitnetly the first iPhone at launch that wasn't 100% perfectly smooth with those options turned off(stock) A little bit suprising but, by no means is it slow in apps or performance wise at all, it is a very fast phone in operation, just animation stutters and sputters and tab reloadingBut think about only one thing: if Apple could add a micro sd slot or a proprietary type of card for the iPhone and lock them only for the music this would be a great business.... Be honest 16 gb are enough for anything but music, videos photos and apps are very well fitted in the 16 gb space...Did that and the apps were updated, after a short while. The funny thing is that instead of showing 'Open' beside every updated app in the updates section of the App Store,it shows 'Update'.I've confirmed that the apps were updated (compared the latest version in the App Store and on my phone, they were the same). Not that it actually affects anything but i just find it weird.they are on pace for 6 hours of usage which is not bad with so much Angry Birds, most people with 8 hours of usage do not have a game in their top 5 appsThe 2 of 500+ iOS apps I haven't been able to find Android equivalents of is: - Awesome Note - a brilliant iOS app that makes Evernote or Google Drive look great - Period Planner - a fertility planner iOS app.Much better camera, better apps, seamless integration with my iPad Mini, and of course, seamless iTunes integration.SO we get good, great, fair, and finally JUNK apps that put junk on our computers / SMART PHONES (mini computers). The display is amazing and will be great once Apps are updated for it.Believe me, your app developers want nothing more than to make awesome apps taking advantage of all the latest awesome hardware and software. But for apps that don't, like magazines and journals, the problem is, unlike the iPad, which is more "square" and the pages of magazines fit the whole iPad screen, the narrower iPhone 6/6 Plus doesn't fill the whole screen to fit the page on most magazines and such.I've got tons of great music (sequenced playlists - streaming is not the end all for music lovers), movies, pod-casts, loads of great apps, photos and videos on mine (128GB) and still have 52GB free.I'm just one tiny little insignificant developer, but I'll guarantee this, if it's got a nobody such as myself so excited and brimming with ideas already then you can bet that the big developers will have some stunning improvements and unique features for their apps that will quite simply only be possible on the iPhone 6+.Say I'm refreshing Facebook, it just kind of sits there a while, other apps as well.Calls sound great, iOS 8 seems to work fantastically (outside of some skins of apps not loading all the time), browses great, and the regular web sites look good (after a simple pull down on the web page to load them...thanks iOS8) on this size phone.I agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GBDon't freak out though, the downscaling looks amazing, it is easily the best mobile screen I've ever seen (won't be perfect until developers update their apps for the 6 Plus and iOS 8 though).Calls sound great, iOS 8 seems to work fantastically (outside of some skins of apps not loading all the time), browses great, and the regular web sites look good (after a simple pull down on the web page to load them...thanks iOS8) on this size phone.I think Android users will be in for a really good treat with the 6 one huge thing I am excited about is apps that open a browser in the app itself and not in Safari, they will now have the same exact speed as Safari itself, Apple is extending its updated Nitro Javascript engine to all apps now, so when a app opens up a browser in the app itself, it loads just as fast as it would on Safari that will be alot faster now, im excited for that+Apple A8 speed, apps are going to get a nice speed boost display quality on the 6/6 plus is ridiculously good, full sRGB range, the viewing angles, there basically isn't any viewing angles with this screen, it really doesnt distort when you look at it from any angle only ever so slightly(15% the most) at absurd viewing angles, dual domain pixel technology is a big deal,I'm sure that great iPhone apps and games have come out despite the fact the RAM is still kind of low.Something worth pointing out from The Verge's review is that some apps may require updating before they look nice or even work properly on the 6 Plus's higher resolution display.if i switch to some other device, it might save me money, but i would have to go through all the trial & error to find the perfect apps that i need and sometimes the accumulation of all the knowledge about my preferences is worth more than a few hundred dollars. Some example of apps that you lost all are: smart budget, Whatsapp and pvz I felt very happy when I did a fresh restore but keep the data with iTools. It'd be a really nice thought if developers *could* release pixel perfect apps, though...I would really like the OIS for the camera and the landscape dual pane mode for apps looks awesome (Though I find it annoying that they didn't add faces to iMessage on the 6...it already increased width from the 5s, the icons would fit fine.)4.7 perfect for gym/working out perfect for jogging/running perfect for taking pics perfect for back pocket and ease of use to carry around for a man 5.5 perfect for movies perfect for editing pics/viewing perfect for music/dj apps perfect for games perfect for browsing websites and shop perfect for reading books i am so so so torn that i cant make up my mind.To me it kind of just seems like people on both sides like to puff out their chest and talk about how much greener the grass is on the their side, whereas I like to take a step back approach and know that whichever side I'm on I can find great apps for what I need to do.The apps are great, and when you have other Apple products it just makes sense to have an iPhone, they play great together! Now the tech stuff aside, there are equally amazing looking and functioning apps on play store as well, and any gap that exists can be leveraged by a smart developer if one wants.- Reworked UI with trendy nonsense out and haute design in again; - Ability to choose default apps; - iCloud and Apple Maps that are at least as good as Google's services; - Some kind of widgets/dashboard/"Now" screen; - Some kind of a user-friendly take on file management; - Swype-esque keyboard; - Quality onboard speaker; - Usable iTunes sync functionality on Windows; - More wear-resistant case.Mine is pretty great, I'm a moderate user and never close apps I'm getting easily full day sometimes more.I am confident a software fix will come in the long run but my feeling is at worst case scenario apple will ask/make it mandatory for app developers (apps which require gyro/accelerometers) to include re-calibration tools at the setup of the apps.in the meantime I found a workable solution with callback services and dedicated apps. That's the down side... but since I can't pull the apps out once they are in, I'm kind of glad there is a way to get the apps out.2) SIM Swap Trick - Google it and watch Youtube Video's - Very easy to do as long as you be patient 3) Use a tool I think such as iPhone configuration utility...(I cannot provide feedback/support for MMS setup as I don't use it since I have no need for it thanks to all the great apps like iMessage & Whatsapp) If/When more/better plans become available I will be sure to add them to the list, If you know of a great carrier/plan(s) that are better than what I listed then be sure to let me know As for feedback, those of you concerned Check my eBay accounts: and See my Threads on the forum:Page two: All the nice looking icons of the apps I use often / daily :P Page three: The other nice looking icons (the apps I din't use as often in folders) I only have Real Racing 2 and Infinity Blade because I don't play games that oftenOnly in some apps mind you, like navigation apps you see much less on the iPhone and you get some weird banding display issues that make the map fairly ugly.1gb of RAM in this year on a device that is this high priced is horrible, especially when the Air 2 got 2gb of RAM and the amount of apps and tabs held in the background are far more than this paltry 1gb horribleness. So yeah, I'm still very unhappy with the 1GB of RAM and the fact that lots of apps still aren't optimised for the screen, but it's a very nice phone. The 6 Plus considerably outperforms the Note 4, it gets noticeably better on screen frame rate in games and 3D applications then the Note 4(which also translate to smoother UI performance and stuff like that, there is no reason why the Note 4 stutters and lags in native phone app when scrolling and just scrolling through the home screen) There are tons of demonstrations and benchmarks that clearly show the 6 Plus is the better performer, both off screen/on screen results, it isnt a comparison Nexus 6 suffers from terribly slow read/write speeds due to the FDE in Lollipop, and also Lollipop is completly bug ridden right now You can mention Facebook as a indicator because alot of Android apps still lag and are pretty ******, alot of apps share in common with the Facebook app in terms of performance, its abysmal and sad, the worse GPU/CPU performance and worse battery life is why i went with the 6 Plus over the Note 4 You must of missed or are intentionally deluding/blocking your self out from all the real world/benchmark results that showed the 6 Plus beating the Note 4 about a month ago (Anandtech, few others reporting this ) Hey, Apple is doing something really right though if it offers better performance then the current smartphone competition right now though (better GPU/CPU performance then the 805) and also offers better battery life then current Snapdragon 805 offerings People complain about the "RAM " issue on iOS devices meanwhile Android devices with 2-3x more RAM are still reloading and refreshing applications just as much if not more then iOS devices....oh Android fans...the ironyIf after you have tried A. wipe and restore B. wipe and set up as a new iPhone C. LOADED very little apps (after you did B) for a few days to make sure one of your favorite apps is not causing the issue (due to it not being happy with the OS or the developer screwed up, they are human).I found myself not downloading apps because I was worried about running out of space, and also got tired of the white face.Yep ... the 6 is a lovely design .... but i have to say ... i have a silver 5 sat on my desk waiting for its new owner and its still a lovely feeling phone But the 6 is so thin ... kinda crazy but its a slippery bugger when its naked (i used a slip-case for protection but as it comes in use) Can't wait till apps are resized properly .... most of my daily-driver apps are still scaled but the ones updated look good.I was told to setup as new, which I've already tried Interesting thing though - he said that these apps are having problems, so I am going to try a fresh restore again, downloading the firmware again as well, as he seems to think it is corrupt (the firmware): backboardd, com.apple.WebKit, SpringBoard From my jailbreaking days, I know that backboardd is an integral daemon that runs along side springboard, which is also corrupt, per the tech Will restore as new tonight and report back tomorrow afternoon Let us know what they say! What's annoying is to carry both iPad and iPhone the same time and then later on during the day leaving iPad in the car when stopped for a diner at some place and realising damn I need the bigger screen when you start browsing net and apps while waiting for food.Another thing that kinda annoyed me is the scaling situation, instead of running apps at 1920x1080 it runs them at 2208 x 1242 and then downsamples it to 1920x1080 so it's not pixel perfect but more importantly its even further burdening the graphics hardware making it render things at an even higher resolution and then compounding that with scaling.Thse blown-up apps are ugly - and it's annoying and frustrating. The thing is I'm not going to notice little things such as some apps look fuzzy (not optimized yet hopefully), photos look fuzzy on the edges, back text is crooked, glass is partially separated in one spot, screen is yellow, etc etc without using my own for hours or a day or 2 so just looking at one for a few min isn't going to help aside from getting an overall picture of yes this looks great or not.On Apple apps it looks great but developers need to hurry up and update their ****, because it's their apps are hideous zoomed inMost apps look terrible upsize and one hand use is awkward.I have a few apps like stratus that never updated to the 4' screen, lazy devs lol Hopefully they adjust faster with the new iPhone, the worst was with the retina display !My note 3 has been very problematic with apps crashing, bloatware, mysterious battery drain etc.And that same Nexus 4 had a worse camera, worse screen, worse performance (CPU and GPU), worse battery life, didn't have iMessage, didn't have apps as good as iOS, didn't have as good accessories and many more things...Seriously apps on Windows look tired, old, abandoned, boring much like Linux apps did 5-7 years ago when people were banging that drum.I've never owned a recent iPhone (the iPhone 4 was the last version that I owned) but in my experience all iPhones have been very laggy in opening apps, and especially bad at answering phone calls (many times the call ends before I can make the dumb "slide to answer" thingy actually work. The title bars looked nice in bold, but didn't like how it looked in apps.I use my wife's 5S, and the extra screen space seems superfluous to me (granted, in iOS 7 they made some apps worse on the 3.5" screen - like the calendar app - but they didn't have to do that). They will mostly likely do both, launch app and have it float in the middle of the screen with black bars surrounding and then a stretch to fill screen option like the iPad, honestly the stretch wouldn't look bad since when the iPad did it to the 3.5 inch iPhone apps it still looked ok, I doubt a .7inch increase would be horrible.Loved the iPhone 3G and I upgraded too the Samsung Galaxy S, it had pretty awesome specs but Android apps where not good at the time, and the OS although feature rich was ugly.So essentially nothing as drastic as all Google apps being bad like that and even worse than other apps that would provide similar services if one chooses to use them and allows for the relevant permissions. There are lots of AMAZING apps for Android, but it's a system where it's not uncommon for apps to only be really built for a small range of devices. But after having two 5s phones I can say the battery on this one, with more battery saving changes made (no background apps refreshing, screen brightness down, etc), is way worse.

Went from the 6 to the 6 Plus and am beyond absolutely happy and satisfied and glad that I did, no regrets at all and i am already used to the Plus now...the bigger screen and 1080p panel, the OIS, and espcially the noticeably better battery life of the Plus makes it feel like a big upgrade from past iPhones and a legit upgrade...I am absolutely in love with my Plus, if you dont mind a Note 3 sized phone/phablet , the Plus is the way to go, I promise you wont be let down The thinness and tapered edges makes this device great to hold in hand IMO, and keeps it slim and very tolerable and lighter and skinnier in pocket due to its form factor OIS is the smallest reason to upgrade to the 6 Plus, but OIS most certainly does help in low light and makes the Plus produce better images then the 6, you picked a bad few examples, OIS helps quite a bit in low light On a 6 Plus here, came from a 6 , and have noticed absolutely no difference in performance, both scream and peform blazing fast and give fantastic graphical details in games alongside with superb high frame rate, Vainglory looks and plays beyond amazing on my Plus I agree to this, 6 Plus performs just as blazing fast and stupdenously fast as the 6 I switched from which I had own for over a month and a halfBattery life, camera, and the biggest/best screen this side of the Galaxy Note 4 (great for GPS and games) are also some really nice things to have.Incredible battery life, an amazing camera, great for watching for videos, and playing games - oh and it makes phone calls too.Gaming performance is amazing: games load fast, look sharp and the phone doesn't heat up, honest!I'm sure that great iPhone apps and games have come out despite the fact the RAM is still kind of low.I prefer the more manageable size of 6 but the screen size of 6+ make it the must-have for me and my able to watch live in much bigger screen the glorious Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Champions League, Euro 2016 Qualifying, Ligue 1, MLS beautiful futbol games anywhere I am.4.7 perfect for gym/working out perfect for jogging/running perfect for taking pics perfect for back pocket and ease of use to carry around for a man 5.5 perfect for movies perfect for editing pics/viewing perfect for music/dj apps perfect for games perfect for browsing websites and shop perfect for reading books i am so so so torn that i cant make up my mind. It's perfect -- large enough to read things, play games, type comfortably, etc., but small enough to use with one hand and fit perfectly in a pocket.iPhone is smaller as a matter of convenience, while iPad is regarded as a device more keen to wider experiences, as screen real estate allows for more enjoyable movies and games experience, for instance.Page two: All the nice looking icons of the apps I use often / daily :P Page three: The other nice looking icons (the apps I din't use as often in folders) I only have Real Racing 2 and Infinity Blade because I don't play games that oftenIt is definitely not an iPhone but it does have enough features and games to keep a new smart phone owner happy for minimal cost.20 nm 64 bit apple A8> 28nm Snapdragon 805 Cameras are both top notch and cream of the crop , no real , clear winner there Touch ID is king fingerprint scanner sensor and the Note 4 swipe with your thumb BS is not as good note 4 has the best OLED display ever while the 6 Plus has the best LCD smartphone display ever, both are top notch, 6 has a little less resolution but still good Funny thing is that 6 and 6 Plus uses actually newer technology and more cutting edge hardware, a SoC on a 20nm manufacturing node custom designed by Apple In house own ISP now too Both are great devices though but people who say it uses "2012 technology" and "lol wow only 1.4 ghz dual core my Galaxy S3 is faster with 1.5 ghz dual core" just have no understanding at all on all this Fanboys gonna be fanboys , but the 6 Plus and 6 are actually one of the best if not the best peforming smartphone right now on both the CPU/GPU side Totally wrong , 6 and 6 Plus completly utterly destroys anything from 2012, the SoC (which houses the CPU/GPU/ISP/RAM) basically everything, is quite different and not similiar to tech specs back then ARMv8 custom design is drastically different then what has been used in the past What people dont understand at all is that you want faster better single core performance and better IPC always, espcially on mobile devices, this is beyond crucial and key for mobile developing (for obvious reasons; these devices using batteries and thermal constraints etc etc) Same thing with why a Intel quad core is noticeably faster then a AMD quad core thats clocked alot higher speeds then the Intel quad core Its because Intels single core performance and architecture design is SUPERIOR, very little people understand what even makes a CPU design, single core performance and IPC is beyond important and crucial and key for mobile , why would someone want to deal with more weaker single cores and code for all them and try to get parrlellization and efficiency on all cores properly when it is a headache already developing software and games for a bunch of cores on desktop(and multicore processors started coming out 8 years ago) Throwing more cores at it does not increase performance for situations and problems automatically linearly 6 way wide superscaler 1.4 ghz Enhanced cyclone cores on ARM's latest architecture design (ARMv8 or 64 bit) OP I suggest you look up on the A7/A8 details , it is more comparable to Intel Haswell processors then it is to what Qualcomm offers actually in terms of performanceI got my 6 on launch day and 2 days ago my husband upgraded from his 5s - he got the plus for me and I gave him my regular six The 6 plus has a beautiful big screen but it was not pocketable and is too big to carry and use IMO- I love to bar hop with my husband and attending Niners and Giants games without a purse so it didn't work for me I saw two ladies using their pluses and they looked frustrated trying to stand type and hold the plus however my sister loves hers - even named it the gold finger lol I ended up taking it back and getting him a regular 6.The 6 Plus considerably outperforms the Note 4, it gets noticeably better on screen frame rate in games and 3D applications then the Note 4(which also translate to smoother UI performance and stuff like that, there is no reason why the Note 4 stutters and lags in native phone app when scrolling and just scrolling through the home screen) There are tons of demonstrations and benchmarks that clearly show the 6 Plus is the better performer, both off screen/on screen results, it isnt a comparison Nexus 6 suffers from terribly slow read/write speeds due to the FDE in Lollipop, and also Lollipop is completly bug ridden right now You can mention Facebook as a indicator because alot of Android apps still lag and are pretty ******, alot of apps share in common with the Facebook app in terms of performance, its abysmal and sad, the worse GPU/CPU performance and worse battery life is why i went with the 6 Plus over the Note 4 You must of missed or are intentionally deluding/blocking your self out from all the real world/benchmark results that showed the 6 Plus beating the Note 4 about a month ago (Anandtech, few others reporting this ) Hey, Apple is doing something really right though if it offers better performance then the current smartphone competition right now though (better GPU/CPU performance then the 805) and also offers better battery life then current Snapdragon 805 offerings People complain about the "RAM " issue on iOS devices meanwhile Android devices with 2-3x more RAM are still reloading and refreshing applications just as much if not more then iOS devices....oh Android fans...the ironyThank God this is only your opinion, I , and millions feel the total opposite and absolutely love and adore the new iPhone design, the Note 4 design is more cumbersome, it is a thicker phone, it is wider, it is heavier, and doesnt have tapered edges, it feels much more cumbersome in the hand, coming from a OnePlus One, the 6 Plus is noticeably better in performance, espcially when it comes to frame rate in games, it is much better and offers quite a bit better GPU performance then the OnePlus One's Adreno 330 GPU... Yup, conpared some low light shots with my 6 Plus vs 5S on my IPS monitor, and it is a dramatic difference, stop sipping the Android koolaidTo me both looked great but after handling the 6+ as much as I wanted to justify and overweight the pros of the phone, I don't watch videos or play games on my phone so it was tough to sacrifice comfort for the big bad screen. The plus owners will think " i thought im going to watch a lot of movies and playing games with this thing, but 90% of the usage actually chatting and soc med and this thing is so big and annoying it's very hard to use with one hand, i should have got the 6 instead damn!!!"BUT, dear friends, the worst annoying thing is that 3D Games and scenes looking worst on this faulty screens!I've played quite a few games on the iPhone and I have to say, Angry Birds is one of the worst games WRT battery.

The nice thing about apple being stupid with RAM is that the 5, 5c, 5s, 6 and 6+ should all turn to **** at around the same time performance wise.well i went back to my 5C and honestly its fluid and the right size for portability I have a rMini and macbook air so apple still in my life... What I found was apple puts alot of effort into their macbooks - look at yosemite - its amazing fluid fast and runs amazingly on the macbook air, secondly ipads - these are also great for what they do just look at the new ipad air specs are amazing...Glad your happy with your 5CFunny, I purchased the 5s and a few months later the 5c and think they're both wonderful, and real, iPhones.my wife went from a 5 (same as the 5c) to a 6 and thought it was worth it and is very happy with it too.I am excited about the 5c, I think it will be a great iPhone for me.The iPhone 5c looked cheap to me but when I held it, it was fairly nice feeling. If you're the kind of person who is purchasing an iPhone 5c because its free when the iPhone 5s is $99 and iPhone 6 $199, then you're probably the kind of person who doesn't care about specs or its a phone for a teenager.Hi guys, I suppose that most of the people are excited about the new iPhone, just like me, but I just discovered a strange flashlight bug on my white 5c.I agree, i don't have any issues with ram on my 5c but If I pay a smartphone $800, it better be high tech, It's been a while since we had a ram upgrade, 2gb of lpddr4 would be awesome, more than that would be freaking wonderful hahaTwo weeks ago I got the iPhone 5C and it is a pretty great experience, and the battery is great too. It's a hard one I loved my 5 bit 5c was amazing as well feel wiseBought the 5C, lovely to use, feels great, screen, weight and feel are an improvement over my 4 never mind it being zippy quick no regrets.[QUOTE=IpadSC400;18965323]That's nothing...my dreams involve midget dwarfs and purple donuts... Glad you like the 5C now: Worthy start of a thread topic that oneI love my 5s, I cannot imagine using an iPhone without Touch ID now, but the 5c is certainly a great device and a great alternative to the 5s for people who want a different shape, a different feel, and a bit of colour. It's also worth nothing that right now performance wise, at first glance and in UI terms, there is very little between the 5s and the 5c.Fit a 2400 mah battery into the iPhone 6 and I'll be happy PLASTIC ISN'T THAT BAD Don't be afraid to design a more durable iPhone in plastic -- the 5c is actually the best iPhone to hold, while remaining sleek and beautiful with its unibody design -- there's nothing wrong with that.Personally I just don't like the 5 and 5s design at all but I upgrade every year so the 5c fit me perfecti had a iphone 4S and i this jump up too the iphone 5C it was worth it two me has the iphone 5C was a big upgrade too me overe the iphone 4S i was going too get the iphone 5S but i did not really need a iphone 5S am vary happy with my iphone 5COf course if you come across a great deal on the 5 or 5c, they're great phones too.I can't believe there is people that despise the design of the iPhone 5S, come on the thing is absolutely beautiful, I got the silver one and it seriously is a work of art, most beautiful phone ever, In fact the beautiful design and the smoothness of IOS are the only reasons I stay faithful to the brand, that tacky 5c can't even compareJust wondering if it is worth the upgrade for someone else, nothing will change my opinion on the 5c being a great phone.Maybe I am considering one as a gift...over buying the much cheaper 5c as a gift... Maybe I don't want to be cheap when giving a gift...just trying to hear from experienced 5s users so I can decide if it is worth the extra $100 as a gift for someone else. The 5C make a bold statement, though it's plastic it has a lot to offer and I kind of like that. But there is a misconception here, the truth is, hardware wise the 5s bites off more battery life than it can chew, leaving the 5c being the phone with the most impressive battery life.Same, I wouldn't say I use it for anything intensive so I think the 5C will be just great for me I usually keep my phone for 2 years so if it can last me that long I'll be well happy with it.And the 5c fits right into an iPhone 5 case, the only thing is the volume button shape which throws off an otherwise perfect fit.i still cant get over how amazing the 5c is... im sorry but im pretty sure its because ios7 is butter smooth on the 5c and the curved corners is making it amazing to hold...It would be intriguing to see what the 5c would look like if someone got brave and sanded the gloss off.I would go with a 5c to be honest, its just so nice the feel is amazing, my sister has one I'm just waiting to get mine, good luck choosingGreat post mate and im still loving mine, had a few snide comments at work about having a yellow phone but then caught the main one looking at new iphones on the web lol Still pick this thing up and love it, have gone white with 4, 4S and 5 but agree the black front totally works with the vibrant colours, white would just not give the same look im also amazed at the number of U turns from 5S back to 5C, love it, keep any more pics coming as love seeing them and it keeps this great thread going!Got a 32gb blue 5c today after taking my lumia 928 back, so far I am happy, feels good and looks great, also a fan of iOS 7, nice new look and featuresStill love my yellow 5C but my lass saying the green is just amazing after we saw it in store yesterday, very vibrant green !!It's great there are so many happy 5c owners and I like how a lot of people (like me) had every intention of buying the S until they saw / held the C in person and changed their mind!I am happy about my 5c, but I am also concerned, that the iPhone 7 will be as large and ****ing ugly as the 6.I this got the iPhone 5C wish still have ios 7.1.1 install wish am not going two upgrade to ios 7.1.2 in tell I can fined out from you guys if it's is In fact Ios 7.1.2 that's doing it to iPhone 5S then a again I could have a bad battery or bad iPhone note I live in the foothills in Sonora CA.so according to me 5s is great but 5c is also a great alternative.just wondering because i feel as though the 5c colors are horrible and childish lookingiPhone 5s honestly feels a tad boring to me, and the 5c looks awesome but with 2012 specs.I've had lots of iPods and an iPad and my phone was this cheap samsung intensity(a sliding phone...DUMB PHONE) then I got a blue 5c just a week or to ago.I was scared that the iPhone 5s would have bad battery life because I had a 5C for about a month and I'll tell you it wasn't anything like this. This phone is simply beautiful and not just hardware wise... but most importantly, it marries the software and hardware unlike ANY OTHER IPHONE ever... IOS 7 is simply created with iphone 5c in mind.Usually the "cheap"(last years) iPhone gets a 8GB version but this year with the iPhone 5C the cheap version gets 16GB standard.

If moving a PDF or movie MP4 via iTunes vexes me, I definitely wouldn't be confident enough to do the root.I agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GBThe screen is absolutely beautiful and I can see how it would be great for movie watching. So there you have it, real world torture test from a tired middle-aged couple with the usual careless habits couples like us have and a crazy cat that, before we adopted it, probably worked as a movie extra as That Cat that pops out of cupboards and fakes the audience out in horror films.Sure, on the couch or in a stable environment it's great, but moving around, when physical space is at a premium, or even just taking it with me to a movie, the 4.7 seems MUCH more manageable.

price
I wont be buying a smart watch until these 3 things are met: Price no more than $150 Can be used with any smartphone platform Battery should last at least a week without charging I would also be interested in more smart watches like the Samsung s which don't require a smartphone but are cheaper maybe around $250 and last at least a week without charging.Well then i stand corrected..and glad you were one of the lucky ones who got it back.....i was just going by what a retentions agent told me.....but she also told me that there is 1 spvr in charge of this plan who can also add it back.. Thats a great deal too...and comes close the 20 for 10 for the same price.......but if you dont need a ton of data then a great value is if you can get retentions to match verizons 10 gigs for price of 6 for 80 bucks...cuz you will get the 15 buck device charge with that deal too...and slap a fan discount on in and your payin about 62.50 for the data.......nicei have 4 lines...2 of them unlimiteds...its great to stream everything and never have to worry about going over a cap and getting overages....and even after im throttled websites stil open fast cuz of low pings....and netflix still works perfect....and youtube doesnt buffer after its turned to 144 or 260 resolution ....and if the courts make att stop throttling then that will be huge.... You have a great plan...especially with 5 lines with subsidies....and when you start paying full price for new phones on mobile share and next program. In my opinion, I think both AT&T and Verizon are greedy but AT&T seems a little more greedier (they throttle unlimited plans, they have a significantly higher price for the note 4, and their single plans are more expensive even with the promo) With that being said, Verizon's customer service has been a nightmare, so to anyone that's happy with AT&T's customer service, I would not recommend them to switch.I spent a few days last week watching craigslist last week and bought a sealed iPhone 6 Plus 64GB Gray last Friday for $725.00 - Activated, went to Apple store grabbed a leather case and an extra lighting cable for use with an old iPad charger for use as my travel charger (Supposedly it charges faster with the bigger iPad charger) Anyway, if you're tired of waiting or don't want to be stuck in a contract paying way over full price for a phone, this is a great alternative.T-mobile is a great deal and if you have great service in your area, then nothing can beat it's value for price, unless you travel often and need coverage everywhere.if you contact them and they don't have any records of the mistake consider yourself lucky and go about your life I've never heard of any of these things I'm reading in this thread such as back dated payments, 10 months later having to pay for the phone full price this is ridiculous lol its just like walking down the street and you find $20 on the ground, it was ur lucky day enjoy.I got excited and I jumped on the deal right away because I had been searching all over for this particular combination and finally found it at a great price.I'm honest, considerate, and knowledgable; and I'm being beaten out on price because I'm doing things honestly.Great phone and now at a great price. So Im reading this thread and kind of excited that I may actually be able to get an iPhone 6 since the thing that was holding me back was having to pay full price to keep my unlimited data. Thanks for the link...been looking all over online for a nice one and aside from dockplus.com, which is very similar to the one you posted, but literally twice the price (and too much in my opinion for a dock) I hadn't found something really nice, simple and elegant.I use protect my bubble Great price and great reviewI was happy to pay for full price for an out of contract phone (TMobile) - They never used the reservation system - We were told the store had all skus in stock, and based on our spot in line, we'd get what we want - Our line just stopped moving - Come 1:00 - we heard - second hand - all the 6P inventory was gone - which is difficult to understand because our line did not move. The unlimited plan would have offered $450 worth of subsidy per phone every two years, so $1800 worth of "free" money to put towards phones... however, saving $100/mo ends up being $2400 over two years, so they would actually come out $600 ahead even though they are now paying full price for their phones on AT&T Next. They justify a TPE slip case riddled with holes as "creative" and "luxurious" and slap a $30 price tag on it when its worth about $0.99 all over eBay.So the buyer got a pristine phone that was unlocked and was happy with the price and I was happy that it was a painless transaction.I'm looking at upgrading, but the price of the iPhone 6, as nice as it is and perfect in size to me, is making me seriously consider the new Moto X and switching to Android.Sure, it would be nice if the 32 GB was the base version for the same price as the 16 GB one was....just as it would be nice to get more extra options in a car for the price of the based model with no options.Oh dear, now you got me worried I don't know, but in Apple's website, T-Mobile is listed as "contract-free" and it's the same price as "unlocked" If someone who bought a T-Mobile 5s last year when it launch could chime in, that would be really helpful!Something "irrelevant and small" can't justify anything except an irrelevant and small increase in price.I think that using sapphire glass is a brilliant idea, making the screen so that it doesn't scratch is great business sense for Apple, they make a phone where you don't need a screen protector and they can bump up the price to compensate.I use Instacast because it is simple, intuitive, beautiful, and a decent price ($1.99).Either way carriers would destroy allot of their user base if they got rid of subsidizing because that would end contracts...Verizon already has that program where you essentially "lease" your phone like a car...I'm guessing the pre-paid revolution is either scaring them or costing them a little.. Another funny thing that inflates the price of a smart phone: CDMA2000 only!As for OP having tiny scuffs around edges etc, Honestly having owned iPhone 5 and 5S right out of the box from Apple and gotten my iPhone 5 replaced twice (due to screen issue and because I wanted the AWS T-Mobile USA Compatible one), both my iPhone 5 replacement units along with brand new came that I originally purchased came with some tiny tiny marks on the shiny edges, but it didn't bother me because my iPhone worked perfectly and I ended selling my iPhone 5 11 months into the year for amazing price and the buyer was extremely happy with it as well. It's not because eBay sells thousands of phones a day it's a good place for an individual seller to expect a quick sale, an honest price, or just set it and forget it kind of sale. One year old great tech with a price drop can't be the worst tech of the new year.Dear Members I would like to upgrade my iPhone 5 64 GB to iPhone 5S I have found that since I have the iPad 128 GB, I have not used the iPhone to its full capacity I was going to get the iPhone 5S 64G but the price difference between the 16 GB and 64 model makes me think whether it is worth it As I have the iPad 128 GB , I wonder whether it would be a waste to buy the iPhone 5S 64 GB Perhaps some of you are in the same situation or gve me ideas of situations in which having both with high capacity would be useful ThanksBut than 6 months down the road, I tell you I will give you a great deal and sell you the premiums for a fabulous price of $200/month.I was on the T-Mobile family plan for almost 6 months, and while the price is great, customer service is great, the actual service is just ok. Too much switching of LTE to 4G in the same spot killing my battery, loss of signal even though i have 3-4 bars, and not having any of these issues on AT&T prepaid, I made the switch back as of today. But if your coverage is comparable, it's a no-brainer that T-Mobile is better price wise and flexibility wise. It's not bad IMO at all and if you ignore taxes/fees for a second it's almost the same exact price as a goPhone plan, which I've always found to be a great value.Kind of nice to have LTE at such a cheaper price :] P.S.Nice and now if your company buys iPhone 5S (thats if they buy at full price rather than on contract) they wouldn't have to make employees change phones should they wish to change networks if they provided everyone with Verizon 5C/5S models :-) Glad your enjoying your services and iPhone - at the end of the day its your best experience and what ever model + carrier gets you that - is what matters.Yep, agreed, but like you mentioned, to me Price is a consideration, however for me, if I had to pay a little more for better service, then it is worth it, if I were paying a little less for mediocre service not so bad, but to pay T-Mob $150.00 per month for 3 lines which is slightly lower then my bill now, and to have 1/2 the service, I can not do it.* I've noticed similar posts across the web regarding the issue with the lightning connector port, and iDevices are not cheap in price or in construction, hopefully Apple will address this design flaw in their otherwise spectacular products.Glad I never paid that for my Sealed 1st Gen. Reason I bought it because it was such a great price.Got my phone finally in market mall..not too bad a wait..about an hour they had separate lines for unlocked and contract..i got the 16G unlocked one.. Called in Rogers and gave my frustration on why i should pay 399 for iphone4..they couldn't do anything about iphone price as i got my last upgrade last fall..but did get about $40 discount on my monthly bill..wasn't bad i thought..Do you think it's wise to call retentions before the iPhone 4 comes out...if they lower my plan cost I won't be in the $100 a month range and might not qualify for the early upgrade price, although my billing cycle is on the 25th of every month so I might get lucky there. One thing for sure though, now that Apple is offering us the unlocked iPhone I think it will force the companies to offer amazing deals to keep us locked in....if they do, I'll definitely be happy to save the money and sign again...I figure I'm going to need a phone for another 3 year anyhow, so if the price is right, I will.Looking at Android's premium market compared to iOS(iOS is only premium, Apple obviously doesn't sell anything not premium price) they are alot closer then you think, which says alot considering Apple is only one OEM , compared to the other OEM's on Android pushing out premium flagships left and right Your post says "its a very good OS, user base alone is proof of that" when really the user base is majorly consisted of cheap Android devices, it has such a big user base because Android is cheapDamn, its sad to see people put such a small price on life.It can be "excellent", but the difference in value between "excellent" and "flawless" usually amounts to less than the price of the case that was required to keep it flawless (and no one wants your old case lol...).199 for a Verzion iPhone 6 + 52 tax +32 activation fee -199 for iPhone 4 trade in (CL value is ~70 tops) + prorated service (~55 for one month) = 83+ dollars 10-20 buck verzion CL phone + 50 lumina refurb + 10 sim fee + 120 2 months service T-mobile [worst case scenario] - 20 sell lumia phone =60+ dollars (180 worst case) 180 + 84 = 264 252 is about price I would pay on AT&T for an iPhone 4 + tax.Until such time it is annoying at best and a malicious attempt at share price manipulation. It's the worst service at the worst price.I stand by their design because I paid full price for my i6+ and it's just ludicrous to hear people yap out false scenarios of their phones bending.I tried my luck and waited for 45 minutes the agent i got was pretty cool but he told there was nothing he can do about it and that all orders are getting expedited, i don't know if its true but he told me that he have received a lot of calls about from people with shipping dates November + including himself; anyway if i can get 6 plus locally at a fair price i might bite and cancel the pre-order, the sad part is my first order got cancel with a "nice" 7-10 days shipping but my new one is 3-4 weeks lol.Worse comes to worse they did offer her 6gb for the same price as unlimited, which is way more than she needs since she is not a heavy user. Was going to buy a 5.5 incher -expected it to be $100 more than the counter part - Check, aint mad cause its better -Was going to get 32GB for the price of $400 - Im getting an extra 32GB for the price I was gonna pay CHECK -Has better battery, screen, camera, ipad landscape - Check -Releases same day as 4.7 - Check Everything I was worried about was alleviated.Still looks damn ugly, round edges and big bands on the back... Looks like a fisher price toy phone Won't be buying one if that is a legit 6Apple rely on releasing such a pitiful base spec that most people are forced to buy an enhanced version for an outrageous price hike.Less excited than with the 4S release - and certainly not excited about a potential increase in price! With 5 lines, if you share the 10GB (which would likely only be sharing between 3 lines since 2 are dumb phones), it's $100 for data, then $15/line... so $100 + $75 = $175/month (not including taxes or any discounts you may have) (NOTE: tethering is included) You just have to remember that phone upgrades aren't included in that price at all, so anytime any of the 5 lines need to be upgraded/replaced, you are left with buying the phone outright or going NEXT (or the traditional subsidized route which isn't even worth considering IMO.)I get amazing 4g/lte speeds but it would be nice if tmobile would include unlimited 4g/lte on all lines included in the price or unlimited hotspot so that I can cancel my home internet service.Or what cheap price.. Best common rational aswer is they are not ready, second one is they made mistake and stubborn.I wouldn't have originally paid new-unit price for a refurbished unit, so I'm not exactly inclined to change that position because I was unlucky enough to get a defective unit be inconvenienced by the manufacturer's failure to catch the defect.Damn I envy some of you guys with those cheap price plans...Unlimited talk/text and unlimited data is nice, but that price just isn't worth it in my opinion.Damn it i was gonna extend my contract tonight but now with this iphone price i dont know what to do.. FULL price is outrageous

I had added emoticons to some of my favorite contacts because it looked cute and of course these are the people who text me often and vice versa.iPhone 6 works great with Toyota Prius 2010-- music, phone, contacts perfect. You will need to open your iPhone 5s to be able to view the volume button contacts, and slide something (I used a tiny piece of paper ) inside the gap that makes your volume keys jiggle.... You will need a pentalobular screwdriver (the one that was required to open the iPhone 5) and a suction cup (the kind that you stick on windows and mirror)... just follow the couple of steps on iFixIt website: It worked for me... you must not be scared of opening your iPhone, and be careful enough not to break any connection wires under the screen (read the above iFixIt link for more info) Unfortunately, if it's the power button you want to fix, you wont be able to do it my way My power button jiggles a tiny bit, but it's hardly noticeable... when the iphone was opened I noticed there was no way to properly see the button and gain access to itI am getting real tired of re-entering my contacts manually (mindless pass-time while waiting for trains) as no fixes or work around seem to work... icloud hopeless in restoring...- Manufacturing defects: bad lining/container, bad charging logic or circuitry, chemical breakdown of electrodes or charge material - Keys or other metal objects shorting contacts at the wrong place and at the wrong time - Excessive heat or voltage applied Batteries are serious business.

This, this website is superb and it helped me find a 6 Plus 64 Gb in stock right at my local Apple store, I got the 4.7 inch 6 on Launch date, and I had it for about a month, I loved it but the Plus was looking so luring and amazing once I got to play with it a few times, I was so sure at first I didnt ever want the Plus, but then I started envying it, and then My brother ended up buying this Plus at Apple and we traded my 4.7 inch i6 with Applecare + on it for a 64 gb 6 plus for me, and I honestly couldnt be anymore satisfied and happy with this, I am beyond happy I got the plus, I love this thing and Im already use to the size, the thinness of the device is truly what makes this phablet actually very tolerable imo and its very slim in the pocket, The bigger screen alongside with the stupendously good battery life alone is beyond worth it and also OIS, All other phones just feel tiny now to me hah, TLDR: switched from a 6 (never thought id get a phablet) to a Plus and i am beyond in love with this thing and i am beyond satisifed and happy i went from the 6 to the 6 PlusTo me, the 6+ has taken time to get used to and still at times can be a tad unwieldy but it's a compromise I happily make every day to get that awesome battery life and larger HD display. The screen size was actually perfect on the 6 i must say for those that are still looking only for a phone and have a dedicated tablet for use at all times. There is a considerable difference in size between it and the 6 +, and I find the mini preferable when viewing videos and at other times when a larger screen is desirable. My stated agenda (that I mentioned many times now) was not in any way bad or malicious but it is of course more useful for you to state it as 'an agenda' like it is some master plan to discredit everything that matters to you in your life. There was a funny light we all detected that passed over the pallet a few times, and it feels like we may have moved outside for a while before moving back into the dark.I agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GBThe screen is amazing, photos are gorgeous, it's massive.. Can be hard to handle at times, but I know I'll get used to it!They are very friendly and accommodating for this kind of thing, and I have done it before many times in-store without any issues. It must fit in my jeans as I carry my phone, basically, at all times *** Battery life is still better than on my iPhone 5, but somehow, I simply fear it won't really be an improvement Basically, I feel like the 6+ might be a bit too tall and a bit too wide to fit comfortably in my jeans. Then there's the topper: "I've exchanged my iPhone 30 times because each one either had a dead pixel, was a gram lighter, had a screen too yellow/blue, the outer box had a dent in a corner, the shrink wrap has an imperfection, the moving lens elements rattle when I smack it against a hard surface, or the home button felt funny, and now Apple doesn't want to exchange it anymore. All of us who got up before 3 am in the eastern time zone, sat around refreshing the web site for over 2 hours, and couldn't go to a carrier site or the app because we are T-Mobile customers, and then finally gave up and went to bed, and then later woke up and found the shipping times were late October, deserve some kind of acknowledgement.6 plus to big esp if you gym it which i do 3 times a week then run 3 days a week on off days as one member said, number two can barely fit in my pocket and just big overall 4.7 seems perfect.i thought the htc one m8 i had was big but jesus christI think it must have taken me around 2 minutes to go through the whole process Delivering 9/19 I have been refreshing the Apple Store site for at least two hours (you never know - maybe the website could come up before the official start) and in the last hour I have been refreshing every 30 seconds... At least it was worth the wait..Two minutes after I ordered I saw that the delivery times started going north...I just think there's something amazing about seeing the world evolve from a place where phones were huge plastic boxes that were attached to the wall with a wire and computers were the whole floor of a city block and only NASA and the IRS had them to today where we're debating whether a SIX OUNCE computer that's about 70mm thick, no bigger than a checkbook, can process MILLIONS of times more data than those old machines, is a still and video camera, a photo editor, a phone, a text messager, a Web browser, a motion sensor, a game system, includes a built in monitor, a rechargable battery that will power it all day and a high definition screen... is too big to fit in our pockets when we bend over to tie our shoes. The large phone screen is great to have with you at all times for convenience, however the larger tablet screen is great for reading, watching videos, etc.I read this comment 1000 times on this forum about "I think 3.5" is the perfect size for a phone" then in 2012 "I think 4.0" is the perfect size for a phone" Now in 2014 "I think 4.7" is the perfect size for a phone."I'm not sure if my opinion could be met with understanding but after seeing few things with my own eyes I prefer to be bit more grateful with what i have and less lusting over the new stuff because if we are honest, most of the times its the "WANT" inside us that buy things rather than the "NEED" part. It's a really great way to enjoy a wonderful experience without dealing with short run times.Sad sad times that it isn't.Loved it until weird things started happening... First, I have been restarting my phone more then 10 times in a week trying to get some weird issues fixed.Phone #1 - invalid sim messages 3 times within 24 hours Phone #2 - invalid sim messages every hour!It was torwards the "Samsung conspiracy theories" comment , which actually isnt far off at all from a theory or conspiracy, because Samsung has been known to do it tons of times and has got caught a few times doing it And of course he gets described as that, it isnt easy at all to tell he is biased torwards Android and is anti Apple lol judging by all his post history, biased statements and comments dont really have a place in this subjective topicI highly doubt it is from a lack of RAM, I think I know what your talking about, because this one website I visit alot called gamespot.com crashes on my Plus 9/10 times and I have no idea why, it actually crashes my springboard, this forums I visit on Gamespot, and it only happens on this website which I have no idea why....it is so weird because when I had the 4.7 inch i6 before I switched to the Plus, this website never ever crashed on my 6....so weird...Um, PhoneArena battery testing is awful and they dont even disclose how they run their tests, they are not reliable at all, Anandtech has the best real world life usage testing PhoneArena doesnt even disclose how they do their testign, they dont go at all into details, their testing is not reliable and doesnt match more then half the times with multiple other battery tests done by other websites and also reviews Anandtech is one of the most reliable, reputable non biased websites on the web, their results and testing and analysis is really almost unmatched in the industry Anand does not write any articles or post anymore on Anandtech, he has put others complelty in charge and now works basically full time at Apple, you dont just throw out years of extremely reputable fame and non bias and renown that Anandtech has built over the years with the industry, terrible damage control, its widely known now that PhoneArenas testing is flawed and that they dont even disclose their testing Lol yeah, im sure the iPhone 6 plus only gets one hour more of battery life then the 6, what a joke, nobody takes PhoneArenas testing seriously anyway, their testing is flawed they dont even disclose how they do their test I went from a 6 to a Plus and I get way more then one extra hour of battery life with my Plus What do you expect, it powers a Quad HD screen , the GPU has to push more pixels, the display is bigger and has a bigger drain on the battery, the 28nm Snapdragon 805 is not as power efficient as the 20nm Apple A8, this was pretty obvious just by looking at the specs on paperI get so annoyed with peoples' spelling being so bad that It's difficult to even understand what they are trying to say on forums at times but in this instance of course I stand corrected by you.I read many times over people saying, "Apple's iOS6 is drab, boring and has been the same for so long".the issue is that the phone seems to work fine for the first few times, the first 10 minutes or so, and then progressively gets worse and worse. As long as people keep getting into forums and saying so many bad things about them like they get all bent out of shape too easily, look jaundiced, or crack up at inappropriate times. After hearing of people having issues with the 5s I was apprehensive about it working well on the 6, but no... it's been absolutely perfect, except for times when my finger is damp with sweat or water. If you want your phone for the 2 times a month someone calls you, buy a cheap dumb phone (you can get them for free with upgrade) and buy an ipad for your data needs.Ok thanks and something also weird happened hey Siri work without being plugged in 2 times before it stopped weirdI got frustrated and angry so many times that I have already lost my steam. It's not the perfect solution but it's worked and saved me plenty of times when I knew with less protection it would have been worse. It's been sent in for repair/exhange a total of 5 times, between my ownership of it and my significant other owning it after me, for everything from batteries to a bad home button, to a bad sleep/wake button, to my cracking the screen once.Turn off all my home theatre , dims the lights on a ten minute timer to give me time to brush teeth etc I'm sure there's more but hey Siri looks an interesting feature for my uses just not overly keen on having to plug my iPhone in to use it cause means I'll need to buy a dock and I don't fancy shouting hey Siri I'm going toilet how many ducking times are you listening or what (from a other room) hahaI've never owned a recent iPhone (the iPhone 4 was the last version that I owned) but in my experience all iPhones have been very laggy in opening apps, and especially bad at answering phone calls (many times the call ends before I can make the dumb "slide to answer" thingy actually work.It was a nice phone but it didn't take great pictures and it had started to get laggy and glitchy at times.Honestly, there are times I wish my iPhone 5 was larger(when I'm awake, walking around) and there are times when I find it too big(when I'm lying in bed, on my side, trying to hold it with one hand at a weird angle) Over all I don't miss the Nexus Galaxy I had(screen size wise) I don't have any problem with Apple allowing more choices in their line up.I have been a T-Mobile iPhone user for about a three years now..at first i had to deal with the terrible speed of EDGE since the iPhone is not built to run on T-Mobile's network..about two months ago i was finally able to get 3G on my iPhone 5 thanks to T-Mobile's attempt to upgrade their network to be able to drag more iPhone users to join their network...I'll admit at first i was really excited about this but after two weeks of 3G coming in and out, weak signal, dropping calls i finally said i've had enough, my iPhone would drop from 3G to EDGE at random times and even go NO SERVICE!!

Got to say that I have been using Apple products since 1984 and have not gotten bad product yet, I have had a LOT of Apple products, just about every computer every iPhone every Apple TV, I have been luckyGlad it worked out for you - and now you have an entertaining story to boot (though it would be even better if the first person to get it had opened it and it fell flat on the ground in front of a TV camera. The guy opened it up at such a dumb angle but I understand that he was excited to open it and excited to be on TV.smart rings for TV control, flexible displays, etc.)It came in handy when people lost their remotes, and it worked great on my TV too.Even the f/2 aperture for camera shots is really great quality for a phone camera, and looks great air played on my TV.That is a great and useful addition to the app but I want send media that is on my iPhone to those DLNA devices (Smart TV & WDTV).2 Mac Minis MacBook Pro 13 2011 2 Apple TV Airport Basestation Extreme Airport express iPad 2 iPad mini iPad Air 2 iPhone 5 (one for me, one for wife) Bluetooth keyboards Magic Trackpads Magic Mouse USB keyboard Numerous chargers, cables, Cool starry bras.iPod Shuffle 2011 Silver - handy for travelling and the gym Apple TV 3 - The magic hockey puck.A good analogy would be like if you bought the newest and greatest LED TV with the highest number of pixels possible, but the majority of the shows you were able to watch were in SD and just stretched to fit the dimensions of your TV.it's a wonderful piece of software if you want to dictate, send a message, read a text message or copy cute little commercials you see on tv.It's really annoying having such a great camera, but having to crop EVERY photo so it can be shown full screen on my TV.I know my router isn't that great and in the one area of my house I spend the most time after work (by the TV) the signal isn't stellar.Abuse of the devices only happens with bad parents that are to lazy to interact and monitor the child, as with the Internet, TV and gaming consoles.

Those ppl did obviously not understand that the lithium for every houshold device is harvested from poor african childs in lithium mines and most of them die or get serious lung problems but thats ok, because the real evil are the apple factories which means foxconn and those factories actually produce for alot of companies, not only apple. It NEVER left china the whole damn weekend, What a waste of time to just sit there the whole damn weekend....very surprised that the "Chinese mafia" didn't pull some kind of highway interdiction on the latest shipment leaving Foxconn, to resell back to the community noting how bad it is in Mainland China. She did confirm that reps were sent an email stating they cannot offer expedited shipping on the phone so those of you who got it are lucky but I would not want to risk my order getting canceled just to expedite shipping from China which we all know it takes a few days anyways So while I wasn't happy having to wait October 1-6 because I've always got my orders through and received them on launch day this, is not a dealbreaker for me that I have to wait, it just makes the anticipation far more greater to receive my new phone.
purchase
Ryan: To be honest that does sound a little shady that I wasn't informed of this at the time of purchase.its a great purchase to be used a iPod or iPhone, if you are not a heavy user and just want a "iPod" that may be able to make calls if needed, this is great.watch out for "iPhone for life" if you terminate your agreement you must pay ALL future device payments and then you have to either hand them your phone or you have to take their purchase option so for example if i lease an iPhone 6 64 gb for $25 a month and i have 21 months left, i have to surrender my iPhone PLUS pay them $525 i guess the purchase option would be another $224 i am sick of people calling this deal a rental going around and making sure all the various news sites telling you how bad the iPhone 4 life program is almost as futile of trying to destroy every last copy of Star Wars the Holiday Special if i pay the future device payments plus take the purchase option, i bet i still won't get an unlockEspecially with how the Nexus 6 apparently has a questionable screen and meh battery life, which was my intended purchase, also availability is as bad as the iphone 6+ currently hah.The point is the cost for Apple to bump 16 GB to 32 GB is absurdly low and would be well worth doing just so they don't tarnish their brand when people get frustrated with their purchase later on.This goes to about 50% of all the crap ive read on here the last few days.....pretty pathetic grown adults come in here to try to make other people feel crappy about a dumb phone purchase decision. What a sad statement it is that people are practically salivating over the idea of other iPhone buyers being dissatisfied with their purchase.Always ask the buyer to bring a SIM so that both parties can verify the device fully functioning [Note: Scammers usually don't sit to inspect the device nor bring SIM cards to test devices] Additional Notes: - eBay buyers can open a dispute against the seller up to 30days after the purchase and correct me If I'm wrong, Paypal direct sales can be disputed against up to 45days === DO NOT SELL YOUR iDEVICES DIRECTLY VIA PAYPAL, NO MATTER HOW NICE OR CONVINCING THE BUYER MAY BE, YOUR PROTECTION LEVEL IS LOWER vs having eBay on board.
option
but the heavy JPEG compression....they need to set the compression to the least setting so you get or have the option for bigger JPEG's (like the setting DSLR's have)...wouldn't mind a RAW setting but don't see that anytime soon :P PNG's would be nice (strange for live images but still lossless).IF you get lucky, the blue shirt will go to his/her manager and speak about it... the manager will then come over to you and say, yes we can cancel the 2 year contract and you'll have to wait for your upgrade eligibility to kick back in, which generally takes 5-10 mins... if you cancelled twice, you're SOL as it locks the upgrade and you'll have to call AT&T and they'll have to call some other to have it restored which will take 3-5 business days... to avoid that, if you're on a family plan, I'd suggest you pre-order with another line thats not looking to upgrade right away... that way your upgrade is available right away and theres no waiting around... if you're the only line, I'd suggest you log into your AT&T mobile app and keep refreshing the upgrade eligibility page until you see it kick in... once they cancel the 2 year contract, theres an option for the NEXT or you can purchase the phone "device only" which means you pay for the phone completely, right there... again, I've experienced stores where they will flat out tell you they cant do such a thing, blah blah blah, cancelling will put the phone back into their online pre-order batch, which is BS... you just need to get lucky and have a blue shirt willing to do it for you...If anyone is looking for a wallet/wristlet option for the 6+, I found that the wallet is a completely perfect fit for mine even when it's in the apple leather case.Very happy with my choice, and I definitely feel the silver is the most attractive option this time around. It's kind of a pain that they gave us the option of moving all the icons including those in the dock to the next screen, but then we have to keep staring at the dock.Apple probably has data on how much used space and therefore keeping that option is smart money if the benefit of upgrading would only make a few people happy and keep most from upgrading to second tier. That being said, the nice thing for Apple to do after years of proclaimining they had mobile phone operation "figured out" and that 3.5-4" was the "perfect size" would have been to at least offer one as an OPTION.Granted it costs 5 bucks, it was nice to have that option and can come in handy if you know you won't be home during certain hours and don't want your package to be left at door or if its signature required. For those that have tried the printable templates, make sure you haven't got a "scale to fit" or "fit to page" option set when printing.Having a FAST LTE on a plan that is not unlimited can be problematic so it would be nice to have Sprint as an option (of course assuming you are in a Sprint LTE service area). The so called compelling evidence could just be the case that Apple have told manufacturers that this option exists now to get headphones on the market for the launch and isnt compelling at all that they are dumping the normal jack. The bold font selection is a nice option.I'd love to see like the post above some form of waterproofing so that I'm not afraid to use my iPhone in the rain also and I've sent this suggestion to apple, a small translucent ring around the home button that has a pulsating ring of light for missed calls, messages, email etc if not then a led somewhere for the same purpose, a smart wifi option so it switches off once you leave your home wifi and will come back on once your home or it can remember where other wifi locations are and switch back on once you get to that area.It seems Google have gone for the half-arsed 'force text to fit the screen' option rather than the more elegant 'load the page in a readable format from the word go' that Apple takes.watch out for "iPhone for life" if you terminate your agreement you must pay ALL future device payments and then you have to either hand them your phone or you have to take their purchase option so for example if i lease an iPhone 6 64 gb for $25 a month and i have 21 months left, i have to surrender my iPhone PLUS pay them $525 i guess the purchase option would be another $224 i am sick of people calling this deal a rental going around and making sure all the various news sites telling you how bad the iPhone 4 life program is almost as futile of trying to destroy every last copy of Star Wars the Holiday Special if i pay the future device payments plus take the purchase option, i bet i still won't get an unlockAnd moving isn't an option, kind of hard to just pick up and move when the Army gets to say where I work. They will mostly likely do both, launch app and have it float in the middle of the screen with black bars surrounding and then a stretch to fill screen option like the iPad, honestly the stretch wouldn't look bad since when the iPad did it to the 3.5 inch iPhone apps it still looked ok, I doubt a .7inch increase would be horrible. As well: 128 gb option 5 inch screen Thicker, with twice the battery life Other than that, hardware wise, I can't think of anything else that I really really want that apple would ever implement (SD card and removable battery come to mind as nice options, but don't see that ever happening).the screen is bigger, but the only place i noticed it was in angry birds where all the angles were wrong... :-/ but by far is the fingerprint security option, and by this i mean that for the past 2 years i turned off the passcode option as I'm just not that issued with people i know having access to my phone, but was a "little" worried if i lost it, but the fingerprint option is awesome, full lock, but a 2 second thumbprint and its unlocked.Yes, I'm absolutely concerned about these things... but for the purposes of this thread, I for one am more gobsmacked that of all of these other things that the OP should be worried about, he instead has chosen to fixate on a rather absurd one: he wants to disable the fingerprint reader on a device which can be used to collect insidious data, and buying said device - the option which is most effective - is an option he finds acceptable.I might not have been so eager to switch had Google not gotten rid of their EAS option, but since they did I didn't have much heartburn about moving my services to iCloud, especially after I bought a MacBook. So I wouldn't completely rule out the option of defective aluminium or bad assembly causing strong pressure from the inside of the phone. My phone is a 3G not the 3gS Ability to transfer data via bluetooth (admittedly, i don't use bluetooth that often but it would be nice to have the ability to do so) 5 items on the dock instead of 4 (i had my phone jailbroken for awhile -not anymore- and really loved that option) Ability to open .ICS events natively especially when I'm traveling and my phone is the only option for email checking (i do not have an exchange account or mobileme) Flash (yeah, i know, extremely unrealistic given Jobs' comments about Flash not terribly long ago) An earlier post mentioned a drop-down on the home screen for wi-fi options, i.e, the same function available on the Mac desktop.

stuff
An arbitrary decision, perhaps, but Apple always tries to advance technology and isn't shy about dropping the old stuff.I'm glad to see that you got your training in Internet Condescension, but I've actually noticed some weird stuff going on with this since iOS 8.I love the camera in the 6 Plus, it is truly amazing that we have a phone camera with optical image stabilization, just amazing, You only see this kinda stuff in bigger cameras, and not in phones, that's a + for the 6+ On the other hand, I've never owned an iPad, but I always wanted one since the first one. It's nice to see some women here on the forums to talk about tech-y stuff with My Verizon Space Grey 64 GB iPhone 6 Plus will be delivered today and I am SO excited! So far, things I prefer about the 5.5 On-screen keyboard size The resolution of the display, fit much more on screen and photos look awesome The physical finish of the device, better than the 4.7 Stuff I prefer about the 4.7 More compact Easier one handed use Minor but noticeably better performance.Amazingly enough the Plus does fit in the front pocket of my baggy mom jeans that I wear most of the time I'm in my ordinary routine...even with a bulky case on it will fit, though I'll have to change the way I bend down to pick stuff up.It's for people who enjoy 'beautiful' stuff, 'elegant' stuff.Too bad amex wil NOT cover liquid damage, broken screens.. only stuff like a broken home button, volume button, lcd going bad (not shattered)I have a friend on Facebook who feels the need to do this kind of thing with his new LG phone, only 2 months ago he was telling everyone how he was moving away from the iPhone blah blah blah, he was out of contract, the usual stuff people say.Great stuff, I'm glad it's unlocked !I'll still just be as happy, at the end of the day, stuff happens...the only thing you can do is get something (from ATT) to make it worth the wait. However, since I don't have a purse nor really baggy/cargo pants (I don't wear skinny jeans either, I wear stuff that looks good - and that's not anything really baggy and sloppy), I couldn't get over the size of the 6 Plus as I had worries about how it'd fit in my pocket - particularly when sitting down.i m happy enough... he was also pretty nice an hour later when i called in apple for the same reason for my friend, the other rep just told me that apple is not giving free stuff for no reasons... so yea, i ended up getting free cases from apple, and now i m perfectly fine with waiting my phones to arrive at oct. 1..TouchId in the 5s is something I could do with (from using my phone with OS maps on when walking), the iOS8 continuity stuff looks great - I personally find it handy now to tap away iMessages on my mac, and things like air dropping between the two will make it better still.I think this stuff is certainly "worth a damn" and did not cause any crippling lag in my circles. It is still being a bit annoying though and not working every time like it use to (it works most of the time now compared to before when it almost never worked) so I'm still thinking about running into the Apple store if it continues in the next day or two (and I'm really excited to go for first time and check out the displays and all the stuff they sell there). Now the tech stuff aside, there are equally amazing looking and functioning apps on play store as well, and any gap that exists can be leveraged by a smart developer if one wants.People are reading WAY to into this, it was an incident that happened to a phone, and I just shared my experience because I was lucky enough to have been able to catch it and just so happened to post on a forum that talks about this kind of stuff. And, like you say, a good camera app fills in some of the gap -- my favorite is ProCamera because it has lots of good stuff for Video, too (like recording in 720p for less insane file sizes). With Apple all the time innovating back and forth like Steve with his magical special innovating tool like with special wrenches and bigger screen making things and the major predictable censoring camera stuff like never before lately to innovate with big stuff and not lazy anymore to innovate with big imagination muscles and stuff you betcha innovating more than GalaxyS5 can innovate by Tim Cook to innovate the innovating for sure.I'm not sure if my opinion could be met with understanding but after seeing few things with my own eyes I prefer to be bit more grateful with what i have and less lusting over the new stuff because if we are honest, most of the times its the "WANT" inside us that buy things rather than the "NEED" part.A ton of people buy stuff because it is "cool" My kids are a perfect example, I have some awesome Audiotechnica headphones and they would never want them but want Beats because they are "cool"I'm glad that people know some of this stuff on here, it shows how this forum, although is mostly just for fun, can also be an awesome source for interesting and helpful information like thiswindows phone 8, along with some really exciting developers, are going to be bringing a lot of great stuff related to NFC in the near futureThere are some really awesome, well-informed reps... and then some who seem to just make stuff up, lol.The 6 Plus considerably outperforms the Note 4, it gets noticeably better on screen frame rate in games and 3D applications then the Note 4(which also translate to smoother UI performance and stuff like that, there is no reason why the Note 4 stutters and lags in native phone app when scrolling and just scrolling through the home screen) There are tons of demonstrations and benchmarks that clearly show the 6 Plus is the better performer, both off screen/on screen results, it isnt a comparison Nexus 6 suffers from terribly slow read/write speeds due to the FDE in Lollipop, and also Lollipop is completly bug ridden right now You can mention Facebook as a indicator because alot of Android apps still lag and are pretty ******, alot of apps share in common with the Facebook app in terms of performance, its abysmal and sad, the worse GPU/CPU performance and worse battery life is why i went with the 6 Plus over the Note 4 You must of missed or are intentionally deluding/blocking your self out from all the real world/benchmark results that showed the 6 Plus beating the Note 4 about a month ago (Anandtech, few others reporting this ) Hey, Apple is doing something really right though if it offers better performance then the current smartphone competition right now though (better GPU/CPU performance then the 805) and also offers better battery life then current Snapdragon 805 offerings People complain about the "RAM " issue on iOS devices meanwhile Android devices with 2-3x more RAM are still reloading and refreshing applications just as much if not more then iOS devices....oh Android fans...the ironyNot that happy with our police but glad they got your stuff back and no one was hurt.Sorry I need to spell stuff out so clearly for you but: Sarcasm is "a sharp, bitter, or cutting expression or remark; a bitter gibe or taunt."I personally think it sucks because it's become pretty unpleasant to converse about Apple stuff online as you are met with persistent and often brutal negativity.Just Apple's miscalculation that people would be so petty, jealous (of Apple's and iPhone's success) and stupid that they would need to over-engineer their stuff.Got an email from AT&T though reviewing my plan and telling me stuff for my account, but who knows....happy for everyone in the group in shipping mode, feel bad for me, hahaI had 2.3 gingerbread android phone for 18 months and while android itself was fun to use the weak hardware and lack of regular updates let the experience down considerably. So much stuff could be done even without having to root your phone. Then I switched to Lumia 520 and it was a breath of fresh air the simple yet elegant ui is great windows phone 8 is a cool ecosystem.Just this week I bought iPhone 3GS with ios 6 which is a little inferior to iphone 6 i would guess and I like the OS it's smooth and fluid and the phone is also well built although camera quality is not so good but everything else is good.So I like all 3 platforms equally well.I'm used to pre-orders where the production release is 6 months after the product annoucement, and the order window is small so they can build to what the preorder was... Im not saying that necessarily is desirable, but it really would help lessen some of the madness that is this "omg its next week" and the logistics that are involved and the insane it sells out in 1 minute stuff... received both my confirmation of processing and an email for the other reservation from when ATT couldnt verify...not all of us can own a nice fancy stuff but we sure as hell can afford getting the new iphone plus!I have come to the conclusion that the universe does not want me to own an iPhone; probably bad karma from all the bad stuff I have said about Apple in the past.
file
and backup to external drives, my favorite being the WD "My Passport" Ultra 2tb (now on Amazon for $109) Favorite file syncing software is GoodSync I do file syncs vs backup to one big backup file to reduce risk in some proprietary backup format.I agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GBiOS has proven to be awful at file handling, but otherwise it's simple to use and nice to look at.Optimal solution is to add RAM (I never said otherwise), but a swap file is much preferable to having nothing.I am kind of glad that the 8MP stayed... the dimensions are just fine and the file size won't increase... unlike the quality of the photos.- Reworked UI with trendy nonsense out and haute design in again; - Ability to choose default apps; - iCloud and Apple Maps that are at least as good as Google's services; - Some kind of widgets/dashboard/"Now" screen; - Some kind of a user-friendly take on file management; - Swype-esque keyboard; - Quality onboard speaker; - Usable iTunes sync functionality on Windows; - More wear-resistant case. And, like you say, a good camera app fills in some of the gap -- my favorite is ProCamera because it has lots of good stuff for Video, too (like recording in 720p for less insane file sizes). The sensor has to be bigger other wise you are just taking photos that take up more precious storage due to the larger file size.Example: Angry Birds 2009 - 18mb file size Angry Birds 2014 on a larger screen iPhone 6 - 72mb 3.2mp camera 0.4~mb VGA video 1 minute 33mb 8.0mp camera 1.7~mb 1080 video 1 minute 142mb I hope my question made sense..So you'd have to have your phone turned on, unlocked AND not notice someone bump a gizmo against your phone, AND not notice that all of a sudden your browser opens to a page you've never seen before, with a "click me" download link on it, AND you click on it for some dumb reason AND then for another dumb reason, go find the downloaded file afterwards, AND click on AND agree to install it.

It would be funny (and great) if Walgreen's sees a sudden increase in new business while Rite Aid and CVS see a sudden dip.But think about only one thing: if Apple could add a micro sd slot or a proprietary type of card for the iPhone and lock them only for the music this would be a great business.... Be honest 16 gb are enough for anything but music, videos photos and apps are very well fitted in the 16 gb space...IF you get lucky, the blue shirt will go to his/her manager and speak about it... the manager will then come over to you and say, yes we can cancel the 2 year contract and you'll have to wait for your upgrade eligibility to kick back in, which generally takes 5-10 mins... if you cancelled twice, you're SOL as it locks the upgrade and you'll have to call AT&T and they'll have to call some other to have it restored which will take 3-5 business days... to avoid that, if you're on a family plan, I'd suggest you pre-order with another line thats not looking to upgrade right away... that way your upgrade is available right away and theres no waiting around... if you're the only line, I'd suggest you log into your AT&T mobile app and keep refreshing the upgrade eligibility page until you see it kick in... once they cancel the 2 year contract, theres an option for the NEXT or you can purchase the phone "device only" which means you pay for the phone completely, right there... again, I've experienced stores where they will flat out tell you they cant do such a thing, blah blah blah, cancelling will put the phone back into their online pre-order batch, which is BS... you just need to get lucky and have a blue shirt willing to do it for you...A parting thought, the Blackberry passport is also a beautiful and well made device worth looking at for the business minded professional.I think that using sapphire glass is a brilliant idea, making the screen so that it doesn't scratch is great business sense for Apple, they make a phone where you don't need a screen protector and they can bump up the price to compensate. You agree not to misuse the Service or Device, including but not limited to: (a) reselling or rebilling our Service; (b) using the Service or Device to engage in unlawful activity, or in conduct that adversely affects our customers, employees, business, or any other person(s), or that interferes with our operations, network, reputation, or ability to provide quality service, including but not limited to the generation or dissemination of viruses, malware or "denial of service" attacks; (c) using the Service as a substitute or backup for private lines or dedicated data connections; (d) tampering with or modifying your T-Mobile Device; (e) "spamming" or engaging in other abusive or unsolicited communications, or any other mass, automated voice or data communication for commercial or marketing purposes; (f) reselling T-Mobile Devices for profit, or tampering with, reprogramming or altering T-Mobile Devices for the purpose of reselling the T-Mobile Device; (g) using the Service in connection with server devices or host computer applications, including continuous Web camera posts or broadcasts, automatic data feeds, automated machine-to-machine connections or peer-to-peer (P2P) file-sharing applications that are broadcast to multiple servers or recipients, "bots" or similar routines that could disrupt net user groups or email use by others or other applications that denigrate network capacity or functionality; (h) accessing, or attempting to access without authority, the information, accounts or devices of others, or to penetrate, or attempt to penetrate, T-Mobile's or another entity's network or systems; (i) running software or other devices that maintain continuously active Internet connections when a computer's connection would otherwise be idle, or "keep alive" functions (e.g.2nd: the ideal scenario will involve some kind of software/ app/ call through, callback/ ring-through service that will allow me to dial out to a business contact using my business caller ID, from the personal number.I've got one that says before 10:30am and one that says before end of business day... Will UPS be smart enough to combine both into "before 10:30am" - that would be nice...That said, it is sad that there are dishonest employees there (and every other business), I hope you get this resolved soon, OP.Frustrated and angry at this incredibly poor customer service from UPS....will never do business with them again.Quite the contrary: it's by its very nature a shady business, and will bring out the shady side of everyone they encounter.- Manufacturing defects: bad lining/container, bad charging logic or circuitry, chemical breakdown of electrodes or charge material - Keys or other metal objects shorting contacts at the wrong place and at the wrong time - Excessive heat or voltage applied Batteries are serious business.

We are on the same boat, and if we are lucky we should see scan at around 4:10 CST or 1:10 AKST, so just sit down and relax, if we are very lucky, maybe we will get our phone by tomorrow, or we would have to wait for Monday. This is just a re assurance topic because I intend to keep mine, just kind of seeing if others are on the same boat as me that they will keep it but they are worried.I'm in the same boat... ordered 310am EST mine still says est 10/2 ship, i'm frustrated by not at AT&T it's the whole process Apple should have been honest and said 6 is available on the 19th and the 6 + shortly after if they did not have enough inventory and the production yields have been so low... just sayin'I'm kind of in that boat -- I do a lot of email and remote IT work, and a larger canvas, while still pocketable, is a great advantage.I'm in a similar boat, coming to the end of my 2 year contract with my 5 and I was all set and excited for the 6 but once I tried one in the store, I just wasn't happy with the way it felt in my hand, and now I'm thinking that I might just stick with my 5, it's still just as speedy as ever and just feels nice in my hand, I mean, that new screen is nice and all but I'm not sure it's really worth the money, maybe I'll cave eventually but I'm thinking I'll wait for the 6S and hope they make the camera lens flush again, and remove the silly plastic lines on the back.Damn yeah thats really frustrating i feel your pain... im in the same boat as you.Through all that copying and pasting you still missed the boat...Oh, please just leave android out of it that **** is old and lame now....but like i said you missed the boat bad, the plus needed more ram period...ram/processor works as a tandem, damn the bench score...what about the issues with safari address that with your bench scores...it will fall back to ram/processorThis is one damn sad freakin boat bro.

I think Spark is just their fancy marketing term for TD-LTE in Band 41 and 800MHz in Band 26, sort of like how "XLTE" is just a fancy marketing term for Verizon's AWS Band 4 LTE service. Not too bad though just tired of all the funky looks like I was committing some sort of fraud.I gave the coat kind of a tug and kind of must have lost my balance for a sec and the next thing I know I see this phone shaped object fly about three feet vertical from my left hand and sort of arc over my head and head straight for the cement driveway on my right.I'm actually kind of amazed that AT&T is acting on threats of leaving to Sprint (sort of).Kind of nice to have some sort of change, but I am not expecting anything. You are better off going directly with Verizon to avoid things of that nature (unless you are truly getting some sort of an amazing deal from the reseller that would make the extra conditions they have worthwhile for you, or if you perhaps don't care about those conditions if you were let's say planning to keep the phone on the line for a few years anyway and more than 180 days). They are nice, flexible with sort of a fuzzy lining, but not very protective, to me.Yes the damage isn't bad and yes over time you would probably sustain some sort of marks on the phone by yourself but the point is these things are a lot of money and should be perfect out of the box.The guy I spoke to was excellent, very friendly, said we're not that sort of company to refuse and leave you with a very expensive product you're not happy, let me just get my manager. This city is strange in that you have sketchy areas sort of dispersed in neighborhoods rather than one central area where it is bad.It sort of looks nice but not as nice as without it!As others have indicated, these statistics are largely meaningless because the vast majority of the 3.5-4.3" phones are cheap Android devices, the sort of devices that people get for $0 with a contract or $99 without a contract.

i have 4 lines...2 of them unlimiteds...its great to stream everything and never have to worry about going over a cap and getting overages....and even after im throttled websites stil open fast cuz of low pings....and netflix still works perfect....and youtube doesnt buffer after its turned to 144 or 260 resolution ....and if the courts make att stop throttling then that will be huge.... You have a great plan...especially with 5 lines with subsidies....and when you start paying full price for new phones on mobile share and next program.I spent a few days last week watching craigslist last week and bought a sealed iPhone 6 Plus 64GB Gray last Friday for $725.00 - Activated, went to Apple store grabbed a leather case and an extra lighting cable for use with an old iPad charger for use as my travel charger (Supposedly it charges faster with the bigger iPad charger) Anyway, if you're tired of waiting or don't want to be stuck in a contract paying way over full price for a phone, this is a great alternative.if you contact them and they don't have any records of the mistake consider yourself lucky and go about your life I've never heard of any of these things I'm reading in this thread such as back dated payments, 10 months later having to pay for the phone full price this is ridiculous lol its just like walking down the street and you find $20 on the ground, it was ur lucky day enjoy. So Im reading this thread and kind of excited that I may actually be able to get an iPhone 6 since the thing that was holding me back was having to pay full price to keep my unlimited data.I was happy to pay for full price for an out of contract phone (TMobile) - They never used the reservation system - We were told the store had all skus in stock, and based on our spot in line, we'd get what we want - Our line just stopped moving - Come 1:00 - we heard - second hand - all the 6P inventory was gone - which is difficult to understand because our line did not move. The unlimited plan would have offered $450 worth of subsidy per phone every two years, so $1800 worth of "free" money to put towards phones... however, saving $100/mo ends up being $2400 over two years, so they would actually come out $600 ahead even though they are now paying full price for their phones on AT&T Next.Nice and now if your company buys iPhone 5S (thats if they buy at full price rather than on contract) they wouldn't have to make employees change phones should they wish to change networks if they provided everyone with Verizon 5C/5S models :-) Glad your enjoying your services and iPhone - at the end of the day its your best experience and what ever model + carrier gets you that - is what matters.I stand by their design because I paid full price for my i6+ and it's just ludicrous to hear people yap out false scenarios of their phones bending.Damn it i was gonna extend my contract tonight but now with this iphone price i dont know what to do.. FULL price is outrageous

The leap from the 5S to the 6 didnt feel like too much of a change really at all besides few obvious welcome changes, but I have switched since to the 6 Plus from the 6, and I have to say the Plus is absolutely incredible and feels like a major big upgrade to iPhone(the screen and battery on the Plus is simply just absolutely fantastic and dramatically better then what Apple has ever offered in the past) and that going to the 6 Plus from the 6 alone feels like a awesome nice upgrade and from the 5s to the 6 Plus is defitnetly absolutely a big difference and feel and change and feels like a very awesome upgrade Keep it, by February 2015 all apps and app updates submitted have to have 64 bit support, which means 35-40% speed boost increase in apps that dont use 64 bit code (plenty to name that dont use 64 bit code yet ; Netflix, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube , Google Maps, bunch others) so roughly around 30% speed boost increase for 5S and 35-40% faster applications for 6/6 Plus for Touch ID my advice and tip to you is register your same finger twice in Touch ID, it makes it tons more accurate and much more consistent and essentially works "perfect" for me after doing this trick, try it Lastly download a good camera app like Camera+, it really does make a difference..Absolutely perfect and it spends plenty of time in my snugly fit jeans. Now I know some people like their phones big - the 6 is great for watching videos, pictures and displaying plenty of text, and for those people, this phone is perfect! Thanks buddy for the kind reply, I totally agree with you, applying one of these films on top of this beautiful display is a bit like killing it...I think the raised lips of the leather case will be plenty for me.There are currently plenty of great options for you without having to wait for an Apple dedicated camera.Lol exactly... she was worried about "pock-ability" but I showed her she still had plenty of room with her 5 and it's thinner...... She's going to gush over it (need that water proof sammy now) and I believe it will fit into her pocket just fine.I've had plenty of samsung friends who said the retina display looks nice and i've had many iOS friends who said samsung screens look nice; i doubt either had any idea with the exact PPI numbers were.We will see shortly how bad this problem is, plenty of people were posting pics on twitter the other day of bent phones to, I only see this getting worse. It's not the perfect solution but it's worked and saved me plenty of times when I knew with less protection it would have been worse.

It has a great size and seems awesome, with the exception of battery life, which seems to be crappy. If you dont mind the size of the Plus(which i got used to pretty quickly and dont think its that big anymore actually, and also the tapered edges and thinness makes it alot better to hold and is less cumbersome overall) The screen and battery life on the Plus is just incredibly good and really dam good, it is worth it, the extra screen size and the battery life alone makes it worth it imoSomething about the 6 Plus that is just incredible..i just feel like i have the whole world at my finger tips...a big very beautiful into this world, and the way the space gray 6 /6plus in the front looks with the edges sloping off and like the blackness of the front display and just the way it seems to morph into the edges and kind of like consume the whole front of the device is amazing...plus ( no pun intended lmao) i love the battery life, it is absolutely incredibly good and lasts a very long time I like the 6 design better then the 5S/5 design overall.... One thing I do wish though is that i wished they made a darker model then Space Gray (like the dark slate color from the iPhon 5) , that would look even moreamazing imo.. Yeah the 6 plus may be big but it is obnoxiously big beautiful and turns heads and i have caught people just looking at my phone (and when I had a 6 i remember I had seen a few 6 Pluses in the wild in peoples hands and them using it , and me just going to my self "wow that screen does look really nice and beautiful actually") it actually is one of the reasons why i went from the 6 to the 6 Plus because of envy and also the other obvious (battery life, screen size and res, OIS )The 6 Plus is awesome and the screen is a perfect size. You are right 6 is the perfect size, to be honest.Like them, I have also returned to the 5S as it seems to be the perfect (by perfect I mean compact and usable) screen size for me.The 6 wasnt bad but battery life is very important to me and theres a big difference between the 2...and the screen size is awesome.I either need the smaller 6 or I wish that the 6+ was a bit bigger so that I can hold it the way I want to hold it....I was even thinking that my Kindle Paperwhite would be the perfect size phone for a big phone....seriously, my Kindle Paperwhite feels GREAT as a phone if it were a phone...it fits in my pocket and feels comfortable when I hold it to my head....hoping for a Kindle iPhone 7!got the 6 first, absolutely thought Id never get a phone the size of the Plus, was chirping that the 6 is the perfect size and phone, but then I started getting envious of the Plus, then i wanted to switch to the Plus and I did and i love it that much more over the 6 and im beyond happy and satisfied I switched to the Plus Love the screen and battery life tremendously, they are simply incredible on the Plus, also has OIS which is a benefit, its been about a week since I owned the Plus and I am already used to the size(granted I rock it without a case to keep it slim and light, which the thinness and weight makes it alot more tolerable to hold and feels good imo, much better feel and hold and is slimmer in hand then other phablets, I am used to the size alreadyAn iPhone 5s is a worthy upgrade for you, and the perfect size since you prefer the same width as your 4s.For me the screen size is such an enjoyable experience that I'm happy to adjust / live with the extra effort you need to apply on the occasions you need to use it one handed etc. With the leather Apple case it's still great to hold size wise for me, and it's grippy now. It's a stunning phone and thoroughly nice to use with a couple of additional features the standard 6 doesn't have, however it's the size that is the real consideration for people I think. This, this website is superb and it helped me find a 6 Plus 64 Gb in stock right at my local Apple store, I got the 4.7 inch 6 on Launch date, and I had it for about a month, I loved it but the Plus was looking so luring and amazing once I got to play with it a few times, I was so sure at first I didnt ever want the Plus, but then I started envying it, and then My brother ended up buying this Plus at Apple and we traded my 4.7 inch i6 with Applecare + on it for a 64 gb 6 plus for me, and I honestly couldnt be anymore satisfied and happy with this, I am beyond happy I got the plus, I love this thing and Im already use to the size, the thinness of the device is truly what makes this phablet actually very tolerable imo and its very slim in the pocket, The bigger screen alongside with the stupendously good battery life alone is beyond worth it and also OIS, All other phones just feel tiny now to me hah, TLDR: switched from a 6 (never thought id get a phablet) to a Plus and i am beyond in love with this thing and i am beyond satisifed and happy i went from the 6 to the 6 PlusFeels absolutely awesome in the hand, it's the perfect size. The 6 just seems to fit in my hand so much better but then I pick up the 6+ and the screen size is awesome. The screen size was actually perfect on the 6 i must say for those that are still looking only for a phone and have a dedicated tablet for use at all times. The iPhone 6's size is a perfect fit for me.well i went back to my 5C and honestly its fluid and the right size for portability I have a rMini and macbook air so apple still in my life... What I found was apple puts alot of effort into their macbooks - look at yosemite - its amazing fluid fast and runs amazingly on the macbook air, secondly ipads - these are also great for what they do just look at the new ipad air specs are amazing...Feels great in the hand, with a nice weight, although after 2 (3 if you include the 6+) screen size updates it does seem pretty small now.I love my iPhone but I still think the Galaxy s5 is ideal size wise.Touch ID is just amazing, camera is outstanding and the screen size is perfect..I mean, the Plus is an awesome device and all, and the screen and battery are unparalleled, but I have to tell you, the size becomes a burden if you're happy with using your phone how you are now.I'm still happy with the new iPhone though because I love the new display size, so moving to iPhone 6 was the right decision.iOS 8 > Android 4.4 + 4.5 iOS Maps today > Google Maps on Android 1GB of ram hasn't been as detrimental as I thought iPhone at 4.7" is pretty damned good size wise and it's fast. The size is perfect, the screen is amazing, the battery lasts all day.Honestly, if the regular 6 had come with the same resolution and landscape capabilities and battery life, that form factor would have been preferable to me as it marries the decent screen size with portability in a more optimal way than the Plus does, at least for me.They are scratch resistant, just not scratch proof, I am pretty sure "iom-strengthed glass" is just another name for Gorilla Glass i got my 6 screen covered in Ghost Armor clear screen protector....I love this screen protector, perfect cutouts, perfect size, fits the whole glass display, had a guy at the kiosk did it, no air bubbles at all anywhere, complete clean and clear installation, it is flawless and you cant even tell sometimes that there actually is a screen protector thats how well installed it was(guy at the kiosk did it, put it in a heat box, popped all remaining other air bubbles/pushed them out) I feel very safe and secure with this Ghost Armor protector lol I know it will hold up great and absorb alot of scratches over time instead of my screen Honestly , literally there is not much you can do to protect your screen without a screen protector, a OCD guy like me, where i never keep anything in my pocket with my phone but my phone, where I am always shaking off my pockets to get all lint/sand out before I put my phone in there so nothing can scratch it in my pocket, blowing on my phone sometimes throughout the day to get dust/lint off of it from my pocket, and being very careful where I place my phone (Never in a car cup holder etc) and even doing all this, all my smartphones that I had owned even with care like this, I always still end up finding micro scratches on the screen build up over the months, doesn't affect actual screen display like i dont see rainbow lines or anything like that, but still micro scratches all over the display, it is almost impossible to guard from really with no screen protector you honestly can't do nothing about it and it's not "cheap Apple" , its just not sapphire glass display lol.The curved design feels fantastic, the screen size upgrades are great, the cameras have some awesome feature like slo-mo and OIS on plus, pretty great battery life, and Apple Pay sounds promising. There is a considerable difference in size between it and the 6 +, and I find the mini preferable when viewing videos and at other times when a larger screen is desirable.I think it's great though to read everyone's opinions on what size is perfect for them and how they are adapting to their new iPhones.Nice screen, size seemed good, protruding camera didn't seem that bothersome, felt like nice materials, I kind if liked it.Having demo'ed both side by side, I felt the 6 was a great size and a perfect in-between point between the 5 and the 6+.My wife's: Nice Name: iPhone 6 Family name: Group1: iPhone Group2: 6 Generation: CPU speed: 1.4GHz Screen size: 4.7 inch Screen resolution: 1334x750 pixels Colour: Gold Production year: 2014 Production week: 36 (September) Model introduced: 2014 Capacity: 16GB Memory - while they are still present here in stores... And now - I'm REALLY happy with it: I've got the extremely convenient TouchID feature, better camera etc, all in lovely 4" size.Lovely size, lovely 'hand feel'.When smart phones are new, then each iteration represents huge leaps, but the size of those leaps get progressively smaller from generation to generation as we zero in on the 'ideal phone'.Phone is cool i love the size not too big and keyboard is amazing now time to wait for jb.... Video is amazingThat all changed again yesterday when my 128GB silver 6 was delivered and I have to say I absolutely love it The size is perfect (slightly smaller than the S5 it's replaced which makes it much more pocket and hand friendly), TouchID is brilliant and the general fit and finish is second to none I didn't think I'd missed iOS but even though the last version I used was 6 and it's obviously changed a lot since then it was like welcoming an old friend and it feels good to be back I've always had dark coloured phones before but this time I decided to go for the silver as white is the iconic Apple colour IMO and I'm really glad I did - it looks stunningI agree one size doesn't fit all for screen sizes and I think the 6 is a great device. It's a perfect phone in the perfect size. But after trying the 6+ in the store, I think it's really amazing, and for those of you who want that screen size, I can see how it's a great choice. Is it actually worth it to take the risk to trade the perfect iPhone 6 plus I currently own just to get more storage size.So far, things I prefer about the 5.5 On-screen keyboard size The resolution of the display, fit much more on screen and photos look awesome The physical finish of the device, better than the 4.7 Stuff I prefer about the 4.7 More compact Easier one handed use Minor but noticeably better performance.Moving it in circles with my fingers, flipping it in my hand, just moving it around in both my left & right hands to get used to the size.Love everything about it; perfect screen size, love the look and feel, everything I just perfect. The size isn't event that bad, but I'm just ok indecisive and notice I carry this phone around a lot at work due to it not being the easiest to place in my pocket. No regrets lol, and it's funny because I went from the Note 2 to a 5S and looked forward to the more hand friendly size. The 6 is a great size and feels amazing in my hand, and I have XL glove sized ones. The 6 screen is a nice size too; I'm happy with it.Nice size, solid button feedback, Touch ID works perfect, excellent camera and solid battery life for my usage.Yeah, pretty amazing how sony can fit in a 4.6 inch screen, microSD slot, and 2600mAh battery into something the size of an iPhone 5s.my .02$ I have the 4.7. coming from a 5s pro's Camera great Battery great screen color A+, screen coating A+, Brightness A++ Cons: camera lens pokes out imho the foot print is to big, screen size is ok but the phone as a whole feel to big for a 4.7 inch i think it's missing the apple quality design/feel.Brilliant piece of tech, perfect size for me.The 6 is awesome as well and for a phone is probably the perfect size.Calls sound great, iOS 8 seems to work fantastically, browses great, and the regular web sites look good (after a simple pull down on the web page to load them...thanks iOS8) on this size phone.Calls sound great, iOS 8 seems to work fantastically (outside of some skins of apps not loading all the time), browses great, and the regular web sites look good (after a simple pull down on the web page to load them...thanks iOS8) on this size phone. Some lucky enough to witness one in person are amazed and mesmerized, others scream in horror at the size of it and run away.I agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GBBut the size of the iphone 6 is great as well, fits really nice in the hand.Just it's harder to fit in my pockets already (the iPhone 5/5s was the perfect size for me).Brilliant contrast and color, and of course very sharp and the extra size is nice.Calls sound great, iOS 8 seems to work fantastically (outside of some skins of apps not loading all the time), browses great, and the regular web sites look good (after a simple pull down on the web page to load them...thanks iOS8) on this size phone.Perfect size to be honest for me now after having the phone 3 days now.I had the 1st gen Moto X 4.7", then accidentally destroyed it and had to get the Nexus 5, which was almost perfect size wise, and think the 5.2" 2nd gen Moto X will be perfect for me.Or smart phones that are the size of an iPhone 5. so you're kind of stuck so just be happy with the iPhone 6 and try not to complain for much.I think the 6 is perfect size for one hand, and I'm going 6+ and don't think that's all too awkward either. It's simply stunning and the screen size is perfect.Size wise the phones are a perfect fit.I had exhibited my photos even made with my iPhone 4, so creativity is more important then anything (I have a nice DSLR with pro lenses for sharp, micro... images if I need features such as IS)... Now, I hold my 6 confidently, easely (I even have lond fingers), descretely if I want, screen size is perfect, nice for photo viewing, navigation, browsing internet, traveling to other places and speaking/making photos without drawing too much attention... Will defenately chose the same size the next time.I wish Apple would simply have three different sizes each year to give all customers their ideal size: 4 4.7 5.5 Hell even if they simply put the A8 and focus pixels in the 5s I'd be a happy camper. And, as an honest person giving an honest answer, the iPhone 4 and 5 are too small, not for one handed use, obviously, but that screen size is too small for what I want to do.To be quite honest, I wanted the 6+, but when I saw the 6 (at the Apple Store), I realize it's the perfect size phone.I personally though the 5/5S was perfect in size, it was small enough to fit in jacket pockets, shirt pockets, easier enough to use one handed even for smaller handed people. This one seems like the perfect size for me... Congratz to all of us that have a shiny new iPhone 6/6+ We are all the lucky ones! This display is nice to read from portrait or landscape, but the size is so weird to carry. The size is perfect and the screen is beyond gorgeous. It is the perfect size (although I do wish they cut down the bezels more and fit a 5" screen in the same size device). The 6 is very nice size, my husband thinks it's perfect.I was very happy with the size and happy to see that it seemingly fits okay in my pockets. It's kind of funny reading the back and forth in the size debate.Looks great and seems to be perfect size for me.The iPhone 6 has a perfect size and looks amazing.Beautifully crafted, perfect size, screen is gorgeous!UGLY UGLY iPhones no matter what size.I'm fairly sure I'll be a happy camper with the 6+, if playing around with an LG G3 at Best Buy didn't prove to me that the screen size wasn't too bad, seeing the actual phone in someone's hands was. However, since I don't have a purse nor really baggy/cargo pants (I don't wear skinny jeans either, I wear stuff that looks good - and that's not anything really baggy and sloppy), I couldn't get over the size of the 6 Plus as I had worries about how it'd fit in my pocket - particularly when sitting down.- Both Phones are as fast if not a BIT faster than the 5S 6: - The perfect portable size for all hand sizes - Performance is 5-10 percent better than Plus - Easier to Read, A bit better to type than 5/5S 6 Plus: - Perfect size for bigger hands - Better for pictures and movies than 6 - Camera gives you 3 extra stops in low light taking portraits compared to 6 - Performance is 5-10 percent less than 6 - Easier to Read, Easier to TypeNice Name: iPhone 6 plus Family name: Group1: iPhone Group2: 6 plus Generation: Screen size: 5.5 inch Screen resolution: 1920x1080 pixels Colour: Space Gray Production year: 2014 Production week: 35 (September) Model introduced: 2014 Capacity: 128GB Memory - retaining that iconic Apple'sh bezel thus, distinguishing it instantly vs. other non-iDevices; for it's lightness and thinness / width and volume - it looks like perfect fit for me (a big challenge for my pockets and fashion looks but I have solutions or way around to this, so let's see).I find it really funny how a couple years ago when Samsung INTRODUCED the Note phablet just about everyone here said how it was such a stupid idea because it was so large and said they'd never buy an iPhone bigger than 4" because 4" was the perfect size. That being said, the nice thing for Apple to do after years of proclaimining they had mobile phone operation "figured out" and that 3.5-4" was the "perfect size" would have been to at least offer one as an OPTION.I'm looking at upgrading, but the price of the iPhone 6, as nice as it is and perfect in size to me, is making me seriously consider the new Moto X and switching to Android.I prefer the more manageable size of 6 but the screen size of 6+ make it the must-have for me and my able to watch live in much bigger screen the glorious Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Champions League, Euro 2016 Qualifying, Ligue 1, MLS beautiful futbol games anywhere I am.This might be of interest to some of you thinking about upgrading to one of the newer iPhones based on screen size: There's something nice about the fit of the items on the iPhone 5, although as always the extra resolution does help see more.Looks like a great size...glad I got the 6+!What I say to everyone who asks me about size: "The 4.7 is the perfect size for a smartphone, the 5.5 is the perfect size for me."The awesome screen size is well worth itCouple reasons... the rMini has the amazing Smart Cover that allows it to stand on a hotel nightstand, and the rMini's battery is way way longer and its overall screen size is almost double the real estate.. so going to keep using it as my media device :-)It would have been nice to see how "perfect" that size was with regards to sales with true options available. It's the perfect size and a great phone. If a particular screen size was perfect X years ago, it would still be perfect today.Apple has just thrust upon it's fans 2 bigger-screen phones that are well above what was previously spun as a "perfect" size at 4", which itself was a fairly big hop up from what was previously spun as a "perfect" size at 3.5".Feel free to sound off which version you are getting (including size) as I'm curious what the average on the forum will be Apple kind of threw us a curve ball by bumping the 2nd tier to 64gb but still keeping the paltry 16gb as the base model.I am kind of glad that the 8MP stayed... the dimensions are just fine and the file size won't increase... unlike the quality of the photos. To be honest I'm happy with my current iPhone 5 size and all as it does pretty much all I need it to do.Agreed, maybe I'll change my mind once I have one but I've tried the Galaxy Note 3 before and hated how it two-hands was an absolute requirement to function At the moment the Xperia Z3 Compact is my personal favorite device on the horizon based on its compact size for one-handed use, flagship specs (snapdragon 801, 2gb RAM, micro SD, 20mp camera) and great battery size at 2600mAh.4,7" is perfect size for a modern smart phone.I get why some of us hate the idea of it, but we're a biased bunch, thoroughly accustomed to 4" as the still "perfect" size as handed down by the Apple.Yes I'll keep my 5s cause it still works, the screen size is perfect, and looks beautiful and the iphone 6 looks to big and looks like a ipod with a sim slotThe 5S has an amazing screen size and the 4.7 will be the perfect size if we can use it with one hand use.Having been around when this crowd referred to everything above the originally "perfect" size of 3.5" as "abominations", "stupid" and "99% don't want" and then watching them shift to 4" and deem everything above 4" as "abominations" "stupid", and "99% don't want", I find the whole shift to 4.7" as the third new "perfect" hilarious. While people here are very passionate about 4" now (and 3.5" back when it was the one and only "perfect" size), I'm doubting the same level of passion for <=4" shows itself beyond the Apple faithful. It's because every time Apple said "X inches is the perfect phone size" - everyone jumped on that comment and agreed - all the recent comments you're referencing are targeting hypocritical commenters who would just jump on the bandwagon of whatever Apple said was the "perfect size" - and also because they would incessantly make fun of Android manufacturers and WP manufacturers for building bigger phones. And the switch to the A7 with phenomenal performance and 64bit architecture (with the A8 instruction set and new GPU), DDR 3 RAM (w/a 4mb 'on die SoC' buffer), fingerprint scan system second to none and a wicked camera (1080p is truly amazing, still capture is definitely a well refined with an awesome and perfect for sensor size 8mp, f2.2 with 10fps full Rez bursts as long as you hold the shutter down), continued progression of their IPS display technology and implementation..the 5s is AS good as ANY of the flagship Android 2014 handsets. It's funny how everyone says the current iPhone size is the perfect size until the next iPhone drops. You can have my 3.5" iPhone 4S when you pull it from my cold, dead hands; or when the performance is bad enough that I can't stand it and you offer me enough cash for it 3.5" is the perfect screen size in my opinion. My current iphone size is perfect and doesn't need to be the size of my ipad that also is the perfect size, and my ipad doesn't need to be the size of my imac that also is the perfect size.I read this comment 1000 times on this forum about "I think 3.5" is the perfect size for a phone" then in 2012 "I think 4.0" is the perfect size for a phone" Now in 2014 "I think 4.7" is the perfect size for a phone."It was awesome (4" is a very nice screen size for me), and I found some really nice app replacements that were very, very nice.------------------- Nice Name: iPhone 5s Family name: Group1: iPhone Group2: Generation: CPU speed: 1.3GHz Screen size: 4 inch Screen resolution: 1136x640 pixels Colour: Space Gray Production year: 2014 Production week: 4 (January) Model introduced: 2013 Capacity: 64GB Memory - 18mb file size Angry Birds 2014 on a larger screen iPhone 6 - 72mb 3.2mp camera 0.4~mb VGA video 1 minute 33mb 8.0mp camera 1.7~mb 1080 video 1 minute 142mb I hope my question made sense..See its just arbitrary that that is something "bad" that its that size.My work phone is a Samsung S5 and the size is extremely annoying in pockets (I wear loose fit khaki's/jeans; not skinny) and not very portable.I got so annoyed by the note 2's screen size, I ended up going back to my trusty old dumb phone for the actual phone part. The screen size might be amazing to use but when you have to carry the device in jeans/trouser pockets and often find yourself needing to use it one handed on public transport, it is totally impractical for some people.See its just arbitrary that that is something "bad" that its that size.IMHO the speculated 5.5" size is just too excessive, in fact it would be the perfect example of why many poke fun of phablets to begin with (unwieldy, goofy-looking, cumbersome, requires a backpack or man-bag to carry, etc). That is a paltry number in relation it's sheer size.Honestly, there are times I wish my iPhone 5 was larger(when I'm awake, walking around) and there are times when I find it too big(when I'm lying in bed, on my side, trying to hold it with one hand at a weird angle) Over all I don't miss the Nexus Galaxy I had(screen size wise) I don't have any problem with Apple allowing more choices in their line up.I think the 5 is awesome, but my 4S is the perfect size and in my estimation an awesomerrrrr phone.
works
hours
I agree with you less than 24 hours after receiving my 6 plus I bought an incipio Highland folio case and am Happy and confident it offers protection against damaging my phone.they are on pace for 6 hours of usage which is not bad with so much Angry Birds, most people with 8 hours of usage do not have a game in their top 5 appsLike I tell people, it's great if you're a tinkerer and the kind of person who wants to spend hours customizing every little thing about the phone.I make great use of an iPhone, but I don't browse on it for hours on end so a 4" screen is perfect for my needs.I was getting 7-8 hours of moderate to heavy use on my 5s (which I was extremely happy with) and I am now getting 10+ hours easily on my 6.He also went into great detail about how he/they want to do their best to make me happy and be there for me and how he'll stay on the phone with me for a couple of hours if need be, etc etc.I'd be happy with 12 hours of battery life with moderate use.It gets me almost 8 hours on a full charge, which is great since my 5S would be dead by 5 hours if it was lucky.Yet people that ordered the same phone hours after I did are happy texting and taking awesome pictures.Everyone was super nice and friendly so basically we sat around talking to strangers for a few hours and eating free food.Agree I always meet some really nice folks and nice conversations so waiting a couple hours is not a big deal.Granted it costs 5 bucks, it was nice to have that option and can come in handy if you know you won't be home during certain hours and don't want your package to be left at door or if its signature required. All of us who got up before 3 am in the eastern time zone, sat around refreshing the web site for over 2 hours, and couldn't go to a carrier site or the app because we are T-Mobile customers, and then finally gave up and went to bed, and then later woke up and found the shipping times were late October, deserve some kind of acknowledgement.I'm feeling very content and grateful (and excited) considering I accidentally fell back asleep when I was supposed to be getting ready for the pre-order but luckily woke up 3 hours later and got lucky enough to get 7-10 days on the 6+ 64GB with T-Mobile.I think it must have taken me around 2 minutes to go through the whole process Delivering 9/19 I have been refreshing the Apple Store site for at least two hours (you never know - maybe the website could come up before the official start) and in the last hour I have been refreshing every 30 seconds... At least it was worth the wait..Two minutes after I ordered I saw that the delivery times started going north...My preorder happened when Apple webservers were crashing at the iPhone5 pre-order extravaganza at 3am EST or whenever I stayed online all night to be able to order and couldn't get the damn site to load after refreshing for hours until finally I got through the checkout of the preorder.Apple is usually the first to popularize awesome features such as 7 hour battery life on the MacBook Air (and then to an amazing 12 hours), retina display on a laptop, Touch ID on the iPhone, etc.my ipad air has a perfect screen and I'm getting upwards of 12 hours use out of it even with some gaming, the mini retina I bought had a perfect screen and good battery life, and safari doesn't crash on me.While I'm more than happy with those numbers (my 4s battery was shot and giving me 2-3 hours max just sitting on the table) I have to be honest, last charge it showed similar numbers so I left the house with 30% thinking it would be more than enough to last me while I went out for a bit and wouldn't need to charge it til I got home...phone died within 3 hours.LTE in Chicago, IL near Downtown on this plan :-) I have done half a dozen speed tests, over 500 emails this month, messaging, google maps GPS navigation on probably 200-300miles worth, few hours of pandora streaming and I've used 1.2GB of data this month....still got 8 more days and 800MB remaining, this plan is great!thats amazing battery life I average 7-8 hours usage 1 day standby and i'm very happy with that.Hi everyone , I'm here to inform you all that I've solved this problem after battling for hours , I red a lot of post on various forums and tried , changed/removed security/encryption standards , changed DNS , Tried different channels , toggled genius in privacy ... etc but none worked I have a 5 year old netgear wifi router which worked just perfect with ipad , iPhone 4 & 4s but since I got i5 , I've faced serious wifi issues like , average browsing , ultra slow app store download speeds ... for a 10mb app it took more than 15 mins to complete , on 20 MBps broadband line .. After trying every solution out there I tried my friends Belkin and Netgear N series router , and everything worked perfect @ blazing speeds on both belkin & N series, found the difference almost instantly(on all my old devices as well) .At a minimum, you need to line up for hours at an Apple store, that's only if you are lucky enough to live in a city with an Apple store, and lucky enough that they indeed receive a shipment on that day.If a battery is dropping 10% in 8 hours just sitting there asleep doing nothing, I'd say that's not satisfactory unless you're in an area with bad cell coverage and it's fighting to keep a signal or something.Phone #1 - invalid sim messages 3 times within 24 hours Phone #2 - invalid sim messages every hour!I'm so sick of the iPhone 6 and iOS8 3rd party keyboards totally unreliable App crashes are among the worst its ever been on iOS Another phone with a home button that feels like its about to give in Restored iPhone again today (set it up as new when i 1st got the 6) but tried doing same today .... phone decides 2 hours later to start heating up drastically and chewing battery .... was depleting fast than i could charge it.I remember I was at the genius bar 3 days in a row for about 3 hours when my old MacBook Pro broke, I felt so bad because it was the same genius bar girl, she was super nice but I was about to go offer her something to eat on me (especially since the repair ended up costing nothing).Yes, no one get too excited about shipping, I received the emails/texts for my gold on the 4th, tracking didn't show up until yesterday, and then the news was only that an electronic shipping label had been created, it finally departed Memphis this morning with an expected delivery of THURSDAY, and I literally live a mere 4 hours from there!!!There's been horrible weather in Missouri the past 24 hours with horrible flooding so I'm assuming the same on movement here.More than 24 hours to prepare a damn phone for shipping ... this is just insane !The thing is I'm not going to notice little things such as some apps look fuzzy (not optimized yet hopefully), photos look fuzzy on the edges, back text is crooked, glass is partially separated in one spot, screen is yellow, etc etc without using my own for hours or a day or 2 so just looking at one for a few min isn't going to help aside from getting an overall picture of yes this looks great or not.Still p r o c e s s i s i n g Well I guess I'm not lucky Ordered at 2:44, 2:44 hours after the original pre-order time My 6P 128 Gold is still processing Let's hope for tomorrow I hope I won't be extremely unlucky that my order will stick as processing without charging me until mondayas for not trying hard enough - I got up at midnight and tried for 1.5 hours on my computer, iPad and iPhone- trying and trying - refreshing and refreshing - don't see how I could have done more - you either get through or you don't - pretty simple. If not Im not really worried about it though it is kinda annoying I won't get mad at AT&T until it doesn't show up next week, then ill be mad for a few hours and then just wait the estimated month. For the first months since I purchase the 5s, the battery life was terrible, I've read over the net that the 3-4 hours that I got from 100%, was possible with few degrading variables such as heat, low signal strength , higher brightness, etc.Contrary to my previous post after only 24hrs with phone and pathetic battery life.... Once fully restored, backed up on iCloud and second full charge to 100%, the current status since last full charge is: Usage: 3 hours 54 mins (approx 4 hours) Standby: 17 hours 41 mins Battery remaining: 50%.Nothing really I have my wifi and Bluetooth on, but I turned off most the the location services I don't need and left only the ones I need like camera, find my iphone etc, with everything thing on I should get close to 7-9 hours, but to be honest I mostly used it so far for normal usage, no map usage today such as Waze, it drains battery power like mad, I'll post update lasted tomorrow after using Waze to show the difference in battery power. After a month of near-continious work, the machine bits are starting to get worn out and the workers more and more tired and frustrated -- after working long, arduous hours making the August-batch phones.
4s
After moving from a 4s who's battery life was decimated after moving to ios7, I must say that my iOS 7.1.2, 64 gig 5s has outstanding battery life in comparison. An iPhone 5s is a worthy upgrade for you, and the perfect size since you prefer the same width as your 4s.Replacement ok. IPhone 3GS - perfect iPhone 4 - perfect iPhone 4 white - perfect iPhone 4s - perfect iPhone 5- perfect iPhone 5s - perfect then lost on holiday, replacement, perfect iPhone 6 Plus - perfect iPad 2 3G - perfect iPad 3 3G - perfect until about 8 months old, 1 inch line of dead pixels.Glad I just bought a 4S, no scratches or bends here and it's the most beautiful phone ever.I tried a 2nd iPhone 4S and again the audio was very perfect, smooth, and awesome on Bluetooth phone calls.Motorola STARTAC Nokia 3210 Nokia 3310 Sony Ericsson T68i (with the detachable VGA camera that rendered 1 FPS lol) Nokia 7650 Nokia 6600 Nokia 7610 Motorola RAZR (so sexy) Nokia N80 iPhone 2G Blackberry Bold 9000 Blackberry Torch 9800 iPhone 4S Samsung Galaxy S4 iPhone 6+- It's thin - It's beautiful - Well Designed - Vibrant screen - Fast processor and fast wireless - Great camera (though noise reduction could be turned down) - Amazing App Collection - Runs much cooler than my 4S - Larger, more readable screenPerfect fit for my hand, great upgrade from the 4S and super fast.Perfect fit for my hand, great upgrade from the 4S and super fast.Gaming has always been great on my 5s, and i don't really see where they could make such a massive leap over it, like they did with the 4s over the 4.. they could up the resolution, sure.. but the quality right now still is great.I'm coming from a 4s so I love everything about it...it's sleek, the touch screen is nice and responsive, the touch id amazing..great phone..So we aren't trying to "fit" the 6+ into our existing workflow (like we did with the 4S->5 transition), we're supposed to adjust our workflow to fit the device (like we did when we first got an iPad, iPod or AppleTV).I think my 4S looks really nice so I'm gunna be an excited panda.I agree with iossox, also got burned on the 4 and since then have bought the 4s, not a bad phone, and now have the 5s which is awesome.I'd be perfectly happy staying with my 4S if the hardware wasn't slowly falling out of step, performance wise.I'd be perfectly happy staying with my 4S if the hardware wasn't slowly falling out of step, performance wise.Funny you mention the 4S, that is still my favorite iPhone design to date.I'm actually happy with the thickness of the iPhone 4S and with the the larger footprint of the iPhone 6 with the 4.7" screen, you could fit a sizeable battery into such a chassis.I just upgraded to the iPhone 5s and for my need it a great phone all though I had to take it back cause it had issues in the first three months the off and on thing, until then I had the 4s and it worked great.Case in point, when I went from a 3GS to a 4S, I was able to get a mophie case right away, because the same one that fit the 4 would also fit the 4S.You can have my 3.5" iPhone 4S when you pull it from my cold, dead hands; or when the performance is bad enough that I can't stand it and you offer me enough cash for it 3.5" is the perfect screen size in my opinion.I'm totally excited to see it, as excited as when the 4S was announced and so on People are always going to reply, this is Macrumours, the biggest and nicest apple community. To answer OP: 5S is a great device and a worthy upgrade from the 4S.I figure a 16GB 4S built in Feb of 2014 (chipmunk.nl) and on 7.04 was worth a couple of Franklin's... so I'll keep it for nostalgia's sake haha... Too bad it wasn't a 64GB, but at least it wasn't an 8.But it can't be a router issue because my sister's iPhone 4S gets great wifi speeds, and my mom's Note 3 gets really really great wifi speeds. The A7 in the 5s is very fast, it was nice moving from a 4s.iPhone 3GS had gone with 2 dead batteries and 4S was so flawless I dropped twice on the sidewalk with screen protector and cheap case no damage at all.To be honest, 4s is still good to use, but I'm just tired of its design and want to try something new.I switched from black to white since iPhone 4S and I'm very happy with my new silver iPhone 5S after being happy with my white iPhone 5.i had a iphone 4S and i this jump up too the iphone 5C it was worth it two me has the iphone 5C was a big upgrade too me overe the iphone 4S i was going too get the iphone 5S but i did not really need a iphone 5S am vary happy with my iphone 5CYour in the majority amongst other people who are happy with the current size or happy with the size of the 4s etc.I've got some pretty amazing shots with my 4S, and with the 5S easily outperforming the 4S I'm excited to see what I'll be able to do with it.The 4 was a nice hardware upgrade over the 3GS, and the 5 was a nice hardware upgrade over the 4S.iPhone 3G - perfect iPhone 4 - perfect iPhone 4S - perfect iPad 1st gen. - perfect iPad 2 - perfect iPad 3 - Multiple display issues, multiple returns, sold for iPad mini iPad mini - perfect iPhone 5 - 1st one damaged, second acceptable Now this.AT&T Family Share Plan 4 Smart Phones (iPhone 5s, iPhone 5, iPhone 4s, Samsung Galaxy S3) Unlimited phone/text Personal Hotspot also included 6 GB data (shared) $239/mo total (including 17% discount from work) Would cost ~$10 more per month to increase data to 10 GB (Data costs $30 more, but cost per phone goes down $5 ea) A nice feature is that are staggered, so we can upgrade a phone every 5 or 6 months.boy am I glad I kept my unlimited data with AT&T, since moving to the 5s from the 4s, my usage SEEMS to have gone from 400-500, to over 2GB a month.Wife has iPhone 4S 16GB White iPad 2 16GB Wifi Accessories:- 2 Apple Battery Chargers - Good deal and really practical Magic Trackpad for the Macbook Air Magic Mouse for the Macbook Air Apple Wireless Keyboard for the Macbook Air Apple Superdrive for the Macbook Air (rarely ever use it)It's quite nice without being too bulkly, and the added weight is not too bad given that the 5S feels quite a bit lighter than the 4S.While I'm more than happy with those numbers (my 4s battery was shot and giving me 2-3 hours max just sitting on the table) I have to be honest, last charge it showed similar numbers so I left the house with 30% thinking it would be more than enough to last me while I went out for a bit and wouldn't need to charge it til I got home...phone died within 3 hours.Great post mate and im still loving mine, had a few snide comments at work about having a yellow phone but then caught the main one looking at new iphones on the web lol Still pick this thing up and love it, have gone white with 4, 4S and 5 but agree the black front totally works with the vibrant colours, white would just not give the same look im also amazed at the number of U turns from 5S back to 5C, love it, keep any more pics coming as love seeing them and it keeps this great thread going!Hi everyone , I'm here to inform you all that I've solved this problem after battling for hours , I red a lot of post on various forums and tried , changed/removed security/encryption standards , changed DNS , Tried different channels , toggled genius in privacy ... etc but none worked I have a 5 year old netgear wifi router which worked just perfect with ipad , iPhone 4 & 4s but since I got i5 , I've faced serious wifi issues like , average browsing , ultra slow app store download speeds ... for a 10mb app it took more than 15 mins to complete , on 20 MBps broadband line .. After trying every solution out there I tried my friends Belkin and Netgear N series router , and everything worked perfect @ blazing speeds on both belkin & N series, found the difference almost instantly(on all my old devices as well) .I have Beta 3 on my 4S in the UK and it's brilliant, it's very usable and HE has a bit of a attitude, I listen to music whilst on the train / walking to/from work and when I asked him the time this morning he said "The time sponsored is 08:15 am, beep" haha quite impressive.I kept my 4s naked for the full 2 years I owned it, I upgraded to a 5s and was planning on keeping it naked until I dropped it on a tennis court and scratched the side, I immediately became paranoid and went out and bought the Apple leather case, Im very happy because believe it or not the case saved my phone after being ran over by a pickup truck! It's not going to feel like the home button on the 4S or 5 for that matter, but if it's clicking and feels cheap it might be defective.I think opening the task manager in Iphone is a lot worse since you have to double press which much more tedious and slow (and eventually killing the home button like what happened to my 3GS and 4s).It's great when it works, but having it fail ~20% of the time just got so annoying that I switched back to the same old method that I used with my 4S.I'm a sad panda too (ugly cry face) I'm a 4s person...CycleCount: 917 DesignCapacity: 1430 FullChargeCapacity: 900 Status: Success BatteryCurrentCapacity: 35 BatteryIsCharging: true ExternalChargeCapable: true ExternalConnected: true FullyCharged: false GasGaugeCapability: true This is the iphone 4s i got from my brother, so far the battery life has been worse than i expected (never had an iphone before) and sometimes the charging is kinda ****ed (it starts charging at 30% even though it was at 1% before) or it says its at 1% when its actually at like 15%.I had pretty bad luck with both my iPhone 4 and 4S.... some people just have bad luck.I'm "upgrading" from the 4S and I gotta say that as weird as this may sound, I really like the thickness of it because - another weird thing here - I can feel its weight in my pocket (yes POCKET) and it reminds me where I put it!I have put my 4s in a Quadlock case to mount on my bike and I was not happy to see it scratched the metal trim so I'm not really keen on hard cases at the moment.I wasn't planning to upgrade my 4S until Apple drops iOS support, but I'm moving to a neighborhood with *terrible* reception.I've been considering switching over to T-mobile when I upgrade my phone (going from a 4S to a 5S), but I can't decide if it'll be worth the MUCH worse coverage for my area.I had black on the following models 2g 3g 3gs 4 Then on the 4s i switched to white...it definitely made something that was starting to feel stale a little more lifelike since the phone was getting stale itself.quite a few cycles on my 4S... market
I was pretty excited yesterday...Got to use it at The Fresh Market and at Petco....Worked perfect in both places!!!As you said, NFC has been around, and Apple is using a mix of great timing, great technology and their market brand equity to drive change/evolution from merchants and banks. It's kind of a bummer--I've had 14 perfectly good years with them, and since 2007 with the iPhone--but it's the direction the market is moving and that's just the way it is.Its a great phone, and for media consumption purposes its probably the greatest phone on the market. Also the ip6/6 Plus and their design and performance and camera and screens are just fantasic and amazing as a whole in the package , extremely top notch specs (ARMv8/64 Bit processor that is top notch performer on the market right now, extremely good front and back cameras, best LCD screens in a smartphone ever(Thats up to you if you prefer OLED over LCD or vice versa) amazing body design in my opinion, really good battery life) I love and adore the look of the new screens how they like overlap on the edges and it morphs into the edges for a nice smooth glide off feeling, (I have a Space gray iPhone 6 and I love so much how the black screen like morphs over the edges and consumes the phones front ) i think it looks much better then any phone out right nowExpect the 128GB to be worth about the same as what the 64GB 5S is worth on the resale market right now.It may be somewhat of a more niche market you're selling to but I don't think it will hinder any kind of resell value For what it's worth, I have sold both Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 3 recently and had A LOT more responses about my Note 3 than my S5.Of course I had to give eBay and PayPal a nice chunk of the pie, but if you can sell to a friend for cash, $300 will be a nice discount from going market.I know SPRINT is at the bottom but I think they have been putting a lot of work in to come back and I was all over the new deal for $50/month UNLIMITED data when SPRINT came out with that for the 6/6+ Also...Im moving from a small area to a much larger market and any provider will do just fine out there so Im excited to see how great SPRINT is with all their upgradesThe so called compelling evidence could just be the case that Apple have told manufacturers that this option exists now to get headphones on the market for the launch and isnt compelling at all that they are dumping the normal jack.Until android has the truly user friendly interface that even 80 year old great grandmothers can use fluently like they can iOS, iPhone will stay atop the market.Got my phone finally in market mall..not too bad a wait..about an hour they had separate lines for unlocked and contract..i got the 16G unlocked one.. Called in Rogers and gave my frustration on why i should pay 399 for iphone4..they couldn't do anything about iphone price as i got my last upgrade last fall..but did get about $40 discount on my monthly bill..wasn't bad i thought..Looking at Android's premium market compared to iOS(iOS is only premium, Apple obviously doesn't sell anything not premium price) they are alot closer then you think, which says alot considering Apple is only one OEM , compared to the other OEM's on Android pushing out premium flagships left and right Your post says "its a very good OS, user base alone is proof of that" when really the user base is majorly consisted of cheap Android devices, it has such a big user base because Android is cheapWell right, I agree the 6+ is the inferior device for bending too, but that means absolutely NOTHING with regards to whether the bending issue is any worse than any other phone on the market (besides the 6 of course, but even that is arguable based on testing). You can argue that 5.5" is too impractical for a phone (which the proliferation of large screen phones on the market and the high demand for the 6+ seems to disprove), but it is still a phone and as such can be used in situations where a tablet or laptop would be impractical. It makes total sense for Apple to respond to this market, and it's the perfect timing since Samsung isn't enjoying the great success as it used to.The graphics looks terrible so my point was, and remains; what is the point of having the "best" or the "most """HD""" screen on the market if the graphics look like SD would look on an HDTV (actually WORSE!)
hands
Something about the 6 Plus that is just incredible..i just feel like i have the whole world at my finger tips...a big very beautiful into this world, and the way the space gray 6 /6plus in the front looks with the edges sloping off and like the blackness of the front display and just the way it seems to morph into the edges and kind of like consume the whole front of the device is amazing...plus ( no pun intended lmao) i love the battery life, it is absolutely incredibly good and lasts a very long time I like the 6 design better then the 5S/5 design overall.... One thing I do wish though is that i wished they made a darker model then Space Gray (like the dark slate color from the iPhon 5) , that would look even moreamazing imo.. Yeah the 6 plus may be big but it is obnoxiously big beautiful and turns heads and i have caught people just looking at my phone (and when I had a 6 i remember I had seen a few 6 Pluses in the wild in peoples hands and them using it , and me just going to my self "wow that screen does look really nice and beautiful actually") it actually is one of the reasons why i went from the 6 to the 6 Plus because of envy and also the other obvious (battery life, screen size and res, OIS )Or without returning and waiting it out until they become ubiquitous in stores... And being the most popular device that Apple sells, I know and have experienced quality taking the bench next to just pumping these things out, getting them in every one and their mothers' hands and making those quarterly earnings looks AMAZING, INNOVATIVE, PROMISING.yeah with my other phones I went without a case but with the 6 gold, I got a nice leather(brown) case and it feels really nice in my hands and fortunately doesn't add any extra weight to the phone. However, if you're in low light and your hands are moving slightly (which they always are no matter how still you think you're holding them) then OIS can translate to two or three f stops worth of shutter speed and that means sharper shots in those specific conditions.I think it would fit in the hands a little better and give room to either make the keyboard a little bigger or maybe add some of the nice new keys that landscape got.I started out pretty patient, it's watching premier members be prioritized over the rest of us peons and now the worldwide release of my iPhone into the hands of those waaaaaaay behind me in the queue that have simple ruined this entire process for me, because there's always been something exciting about staying up until 2 (in my case), ordering your iPhone, and anticipating its arrival when you finally open the box and see your new phone before the vast majority of the world gets so close a look, there was a reward there, a magic, and that's just gone thanks to this release!Moving it in circles with my fingers, flipping it in my hand, just moving it around in both my left & right hands to get used to the size.Surprisingly the Plus model fit in my pocket when I tried it at the Apple Store and the big screen wasn't too bad to hold in my hands. The design is beautiful and it feels great in the hands. While there were a lot of enthusiastic Apple fans eager to get their hands on the new iPhones, yes, it was disconcerting to see others in line who really couldn't care less.Second, I find it hilarious that there seems to be some kind of belief among some on this forum that only people with big hands buy phablets.I went to the Apple store and got some hands on with both of them starting first with the 6 which was very nice and sizable, very impressive, boy that screen is nice.I'm fairly sure I'll be a happy camper with the 6+, if playing around with an LG G3 at Best Buy didn't prove to me that the screen size wasn't too bad, seeing the actual phone in someone's hands was.- Both Phones are as fast if not a BIT faster than the 5S 6: - The perfect portable size for all hand sizes - Performance is 5-10 percent better than Plus - Easier to Read, A bit better to type than 5/5S 6 Plus: - Perfect size for bigger hands - Better for pictures and movies than 6 - Camera gives you 3 extra stops in low light taking portraits compared to 6 - Performance is 5-10 percent less than 6 - Easier to Read, Easier to TypeIn the hands it feels great, the screen is amazing and bezels are super thin.4.7" really isn't that bad for the purposes of one-handed use unless you have small hands or some kind of medical issue. You can have my 3.5" iPhone 4S when you pull it from my cold, dead hands; or when the performance is bad enough that I can't stand it and you offer me enough cash for it 3.5" is the perfect screen size in my opinion. My 6 Plus has been absolutely amazing and I have absolutely no lag or stutter at all on my 6 Plus, your 6 Plus seems to be defective, Sounds like you might not even have a 6 Plus, why would you spend all that money when a ton of your "problems" is something you could of always seen in person hands on with the device or so (surely you tried the device out before forking over money) And Siri has been working for me 90% of the time and is light years better then what it has been, that seems to be a connection issue on your part with Siri having a response like thatI've never physically twisted my iPhone 6 with my hands (unless I'm twisting it back to it's original shape) so therefore it is getting twisted in my pocket.3) Same if you want to use flash 4) "Reachability" 5) The above being weird and cumbersome, so you'll likely just use two hands.I'm just a wee bit shy of 5'4" and I have smaller hands than my 13yo daughter who is shorter than me.All I'm getting from these bend videos is that other people have really ugly hands with weird backwards bendy thumbs.I'm using a Pt case now; it feels great in my hands but i'm not sure how great the impact resistance is.The 5S is the ergonomic fit but the awesome battery life of the Plus is probably gonna win me over, Ill just have to learn to use two handsFeels nice in my hands, but does not fit in my pocket. This mini model got pigeonholed to the Pee Wee league for people with small hands or too scared to adapt carrying a larger phone with better specs and longer juice time.
light
ois also works great for video I've seen tests where the ois 6 plus on video was superior to the 6 ois has a magnetic ring and this magnetic ring is what keeps the lens from moving from what i have read the magnetic protruding ring does not care if you are recording video, taking still pictures, or you are in low light.Went from the 6 to the 6 Plus and am beyond absolutely happy and satisfied and glad that I did, no regrets at all and i am already used to the Plus now...the bigger screen and 1080p panel, the OIS, and espcially the noticeably better battery life of the Plus makes it feel like a big upgrade from past iPhones and a legit upgrade...I am absolutely in love with my Plus, if you dont mind a Note 3 sized phone/phablet , the Plus is the way to go, I promise you wont be let down The thinness and tapered edges makes this device great to hold in hand IMO, and keeps it slim and very tolerable and lighter and skinnier in pocket due to its form factor OIS is the smallest reason to upgrade to the 6 Plus, but OIS most certainly does help in low light and makes the Plus produce better images then the 6, you picked a bad few examples, OIS helps quite a bit in low light On a 6 Plus here, came from a 6 , and have noticed absolutely no difference in performance, both scream and peform blazing fast and give fantastic graphical details in games alongside with superb high frame rate, Vainglory looks and plays beyond amazing on my Plus I agree to this, 6 Plus performs just as blazing fast and stupdenously fast as the 6 I switched from which I had own for over a month and a halfgot the 6 first, absolutely thought Id never get a phone the size of the Plus, was chirping that the 6 is the perfect size and phone, but then I started getting envious of the Plus, then i wanted to switch to the Plus and I did and i love it that much more over the 6 and im beyond happy and satisfied I switched to the Plus Love the screen and battery life tremendously, they are simply incredible on the Plus, also has OIS which is a benefit, its been about a week since I owned the Plus and I am already used to the size(granted I rock it without a case to keep it slim and light, which the thinness and weight makes it alot more tolerable to hold and feels good imo, much better feel and hold and is slimmer in hand then other phablets, I am used to the size alreadyI came to realize that the light simply fed negative, addictive behavior, even to the point where it would distract and exclude me from engaging in more meaningful activities.I would be happy if they made the new phone thicker to include a bigger battery and bigger Camera lens to improve low light photos I am very happy with the current 6 design and will probably get the plus version next timeI have a 6 plus and it is completely smooth, (I do have Reduce Motion on though) I went from a 6 to a 6 plus and honestly i am beyond happy and satisfied and gratified and everything i switched from a 6 to a Plus, it is alot better in my eyes... the screen is incredible, the battery life is stupendous.. i just enjoy the Plus so much more then the 6, and I dont think the Plus is too big at all, its nice and thin and pretty light. These super thin, light phones kind of freak me out to be honest. To be honest the LED notification light on the Nexus 5 is nice. The battery life has been great, the low light pictures are very impressive.I used my iphone 6 for 12 days before i returned it and went for a 6plus now here are the differences:- iPhone 6 Pros One handed use light and pocketable Cons to be honest except for the design there wasnt any difference btw 5s and 6.. battery life was almost the same n so was the display iPhone 6 plus my experience:- as i have used LG g3 and Note 3 going for a phablet wasnt a big deal for me..but to be honest this thing is big and not that much easy to carry around in your pockets but two things made me just fall in love with this beauty 1st its bigger and FULL HD display [on iphone 6 i can easily see jaggered lines on the text n Fonts but here on iphone 6 plus everything is smooth n crystal clear] second man o man the battery life is awesome and superb.. to be honest iPhone 6 plus is the real upgrade for this generation while 6 is jus OKThis caught my eye from one of them -- "The image stabilization provides a nice improvement in sharpness in low light, but Apple used it in a very smart way to also reduce the noise in the photo (slower shutter speed and capping the max ISO lower). However, if you're in low light and your hands are moving slightly (which they always are no matter how still you think you're holding them) then OIS can translate to two or three f stops worth of shutter speed and that means sharper shots in those specific conditions. There was a funny light we all detected that passed over the pallet a few times, and it feels like we may have moved outside for a while before moving back into the dark. For low light situations, with non moving subjects, it's so superior as to almost be magical. The camera is really nice, she showed me some pics and even took a fairly low light picture of me when I was looking at the phone and they seemed great. These tech websites are making these iPhone bending reports such a big deal, of coarse it's gonna bend if you put that much pressure on it, any phone would...People always find the smallest things to complain about, a lot wanted a big iPhone for such a long time now they got it but keep finding negative things about it, people want thin, light, indestructible and cheap and they'll still not be satisfied, simple solution of putting a case on it would solve the issue...out of at least 10 million iPhones only a small percentage of iPhones actually were bent but these reports are making this such big deal and people are actually going out and exchanging their phones smh...just my opinion thoughI love the phone, light, battery is great for me (see some others have issue I am good), speed is incredible, and screen/size is great.so i was one of those in line who want to touch for free the iphone 6 plus...it was OMG so nice in my hand, just big enough for me and so light..sexy is the right word i think.- Both Phones are as fast if not a BIT faster than the 5S 6: - The perfect portable size for all hand sizes - Performance is 5-10 percent better than Plus - Easier to Read, A bit better to type than 5/5S 6 Plus: - Perfect size for bigger hands - Better for pictures and movies than 6 - Camera gives you 3 extra stops in low light taking portraits compared to 6 - Performance is 5-10 percent less than 6 - Easier to Read, Easier to TypeThe best place to stick a notification light would actually be around the home button, some kind of circular pulsing light would look brilliant. As for the iphone in general, it's a very nice phone with amazing aspects to it, along with some serious flaws and weaknesses and stupidities about it -- there's nothing "minor" about having no notification light, a usuable DND feature, the ability to toggle quickly with the volume keys between vibrate/ring/silent, being able to silence the sounds of outgoing texts (sounds that where stupid to put there in the first place), and so on.I'd love to see like the post above some form of waterproofing so that I'm not afraid to use my iPhone in the rain also and I've sent this suggestion to apple, a small translucent ring around the home button that has a pulsating ring of light for missed calls, messages, email etc if not then a led somewhere for the same purpose, a smart wifi option so it switches off once you leave your home wifi and will come back on once your home or it can remember where other wifi locations are and switch back on once you get to that area. But it felt like the demo unit (again, a full working model) felt the kind of "cheaper" lighter kind of light.Samsung G3 has a great LED and with an app called Light Flow it worked like the Berry Buzz app on the BB... but the S3 battery is terrible! My 6 Plus has been absolutely amazing and I have absolutely no lag or stutter at all on my 6 Plus, your 6 Plus seems to be defective, Sounds like you might not even have a 6 Plus, why would you spend all that money when a ton of your "problems" is something you could of always seen in person hands on with the device or so (surely you tried the device out before forking over money) And Siri has been working for me 90% of the time and is light years better then what it has been, that seems to be a connection issue on your part with Siri having a response like thatThank God this is only your opinion, I , and millions feel the total opposite and absolutely love and adore the new iPhone design, the Note 4 design is more cumbersome, it is a thicker phone, it is wider, it is heavier, and doesnt have tapered edges, it feels much more cumbersome in the hand, coming from a OnePlus One, the 6 Plus is noticeably better in performance, espcially when it comes to frame rate in games, it is much better and offers quite a bit better GPU performance then the OnePlus One's Adreno 330 GPU... Yup, conpared some low light shots with my 6 Plus vs 5S on my IPS monitor, and it is a dramatic difference, stop sipping the Android koolaidThe screen feels nice but the light thin 6061 non-tempered aluminum body feels hollow and a bit cheap.I got the Griffin armband, cheap, very nice, light yet stable.Bear in mind that photos of these type of screen protectors on a white iPhone (like above) will make it look worse as the light refracts against the White glass screen and makes the edges look really bad.The bottom line is that the iPhone 6 can be outstanding in good light but, like almost all cameras (even often DSLRs), will get at best mediocre results in low/bad light. The 6, on the other hand, is a perfect size for a smartphone, thin, light, and won't be bulky, tiresome, or unnecessarily cumbersome for the more mundane tasks of smartphones, such as texting and making calls. There are collectors for all sorts of junk... but sooner or later the battery will explode (not light on fire kind of explode just bloated and expanded) and your iPhone 2G will be worthless then. The screen is too small, now it's too big It's too heavy, now it's too light and feels cheap The glass back breaks too easily, the aluminum back is terrible If I take keys to my phone it scratches. That looks stunning The only thing I don't like is the home button put on the frame, thats so android like and I never liked it on my friends device but the rest looks great & I also like the light up Apple Logo but that would be replaced by the home button again, maybe the lil square lines of that button could light up when I get a notification, I would welcome it...otherwise it depresses me that we all have so many wonderful ideas but we all know that Apple will never implement them into the final product

ois also works great for video I've seen tests where the ois 6 plus on video was superior to the 6 ois has a magnetic ring and this magnetic ring is what keeps the lens from moving from what i have read the magnetic protruding ring does not care if you are recording video, taking still pictures, or you are in low light. For video, the 6 and 6+ are basically tied in any kind of moving situation.what I find amazing is that after the success of Lewis bending video, which surely gave him some huge cash, nobody but nobody in this world came up with the idea of making a video of a straight iPhone 6 or 6 Plus being put in a pocket and then taken off it bent....by magic like all the bend cases we keep seeing on here....great video I am very happy with the camera they both have video image stabilizer the plus has OIS Optical Image Stabilizer which is for still shotsGreat quality and great video.I'm super happy at how fast video focuses too, I think the 6s is going to be the ultimate, the s version iPhones always seem to perfect the camera.Nice video, yeah the time lapse quality is great, better than the slow motion which on mine seems off, not as sharp.I'll gladly take amazing 1080p (30 or 60 fps) video, with great stabilization, over 1 gb, 30 second 4k ****.The OIS is great, and I could take a video of the road in front of me in a moving car, and in the playback the road and trees and street lights were all rock steady, while the visible part of the car's hood was bouncing up and down.Phone is cool i love the size not too big and keyboard is amazing now time to wait for jb.... Video is amazingYeah, before the launch everyone was pretty excited and happy and soon as the unbox therapy guy made that bend video everything went to hell in here big time.Hey mom we made a video, that's nice dear.I7 quad core, dedicated video card, blu Ray player and (I must say it) a GORGEOUS full hd screen. No problem, helped me verify it as well so I'm happy you brought it up Yeah, not bad at all though being able to make a years worth of salary simply by post a short, panic troll video.Second video is great, perfect.Great video OP, cute dog too.Nice dog, nice places, nice video, but very ugly music. The home screen looks perfect, video on youtube looks amazing, etc.The resulting video is hilarious and priceless.I went searching around and found this video, which I was very pleased to see the great results from.I just think there's something amazing about seeing the world evolve from a place where phones were huge plastic boxes that were attached to the wall with a wire and computers were the whole floor of a city block and only NASA and the IRS had them to today where we're debating whether a SIX OUNCE computer that's about 70mm thick, no bigger than a checkbook, can process MILLIONS of times more data than those old machines, is a still and video camera, a photo editor, a phone, a text messager, a Web browser, a motion sensor, a game system, includes a built in monitor, a rechargable battery that will power it all day and a high definition screen... is too big to fit in our pockets when we bend over to tie our shoes.OK. great, that is a good video and specially 4.7" iPhone looks great.I'm inclined to give this video some credit, to be honest...And, like you say, a good camera app fills in some of the gap -- my favorite is ProCamera because it has lots of good stuff for Video, too (like recording in 720p for less insane file sizes).I think video stabilization would be great along with a great low-light camera and much clearer picture-i don't think screens on phones will be 4k for several years-I can see them already making 2k tablets and some crazy expensive 4ktablets but i don't see them making 4k phones-maybe a 2k but that would be expensive. You deserve perfect cuz you paid for perfect , your not the bad guy cuz you demand your phone work , that's called taking a stand and not letting subpar quality control affect you because it shouldn't affect one of us , we as consumers should stick together on something like this and give each other the knowledge to get the job done , not doubt and call names like children Than why after 3 white box replacements through the mail with the same manager on the case did I get upgraded to a 5s white 16 gig , I'm begging people to not make statements that aren't true , if you suffer through 3 defective iphone 5 they will upgrade you to a 5s because after 3 refurbs they must give you a new device and they don't make new 5 anymore they only have refurb white box , I video tapped all 3 of my white box unboxings right from the signing to the opening and they all had scratched screens or something else and I had the proof , not only did I get upgraded I received a call from Erik from corporate who was stunned with what I went through and sent me a 32 gig iPod touch , just please stop assuming people are trying to commit fraud because we aren't , we are simply here trying to help each other get on the right path to enjoying their devices and if sharing my story and the email address of the managers that helped me gets something done for someone else and helps out one more lost person going through what I did that makes me feel great , we should all recieve perfect devices the first time and that don't happen but we have rights and should use themIf you are happy with VLC for other uses, most likely you will happy with Handbrake in terms of resulting video quality. You may never have to show the video to anyone but if the buyer tries anything funny you are going to be glad you have that video.A realistic look at the next iPhone from my perspective: PRIORITY Pre-installed Flash Removable battery More physical buttons for options such as profile 5.0MB camera or better Better battery life REALLY NICE TO HAVE Video conferencing and/or live streaming.yeah but that lag in your video is very serious and clearly seems to be something mechanically defective in your device if that is common, I came from a 6 to a 6 plus and the 6 plus is just as buttery smooth fast as the 6 that i came from, with no lag or stutters for me ever I also have TLC nand memory, which is suppose to be the worse NAND that causes some people issues but i myself have had no issues at all with it Try a hard reset (home and lock button until screen turns off completely) and also try turning on Reduce transparency in accessbility in general in settingsyeah but that lag in your video is very serious and clearly seems to be something mechanically defective in your device if that is is 6 Plus only.I'd love 2GB of RAM and whenever possible I like to double up on RAM, when building PC's I've been known to ram as much RAM (pun intended) as possible...maybe in a simple minded effort to just make things "better" but I've been using my rMBP which I only got 8GB of RAM for and compared to the 16GB RAM models its not insanely different...only difference is when I start doing INSANE things in video editing, I'm not talking about transcoding high res video I'm talking about doing some crazy ****** in After Effects and making the computer hot enough to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner....I don't think their is a whole lot on the iPhone 6 you can do that can push the RAM to the limit....I mean yeah opening a zillion tabs (which I am notorious for, I always have max tabs open) is one thing but I still find my phone to respond very well...Proving if his video is fake is irrelevant to the issue at hand.None of which means that bendgate is fake or that the YT video is fake in any case. You obviously get mad at the fact that the video was turned out to be fake.If he tried to fake a video he needed to fake it better. However, individual consumers and social media users who are viewing and sharing these videos are not motivated by ad revenue, but the claim that Unbox Therapy video was fake is fanning the flames for people to look for other videos and to discuss them. What I found weird about this video the first time I watched it is that he says that his focus was on the center of the phone, but looks like it bends near the volume rockers on the side more.. but he wasn't pushing on the middle; his thumbs were right on the side by the volume rockers and were bending it there, it's not because it's a more vulnerable area, it's because that's where he was bending it.Your thumb is freakishly big lol.. All your video proved was how awkward and cumbersome a normal sized thumb would beThe video shows very much that there is a problem and while this doesn't look too bad at the moment, I would be concerned that this is how it starts and it might get worst over time...If someone who has no affiliation with the video posts a racist comment, that might make the commenter racist. To those saying to "Buy a 5s": - Worse camera for both video and picture taking - Worse processer - Worse battery life - Sharp edged design - Thicker - No NFC (Yes, ApplePay is a big deal) Those are sacrifices people will make when purchasing last year's 4" model.Example: Angry Birds 2009 - 18mb file size Angry Birds 2014 on a larger screen iPhone 6 - 72mb 3.2mp camera 0.4~mb VGA video 1 minute 33mb 8.0mp camera 1.7~mb 1080 video 1 minute 142mb I hope my question made sense..Proceed to click the video result of the girl in long socks and Siri takes you to a site with lots of weird nudity...most of which is probably forbidden in the USA (tudou.com).My gf is scared to view a youtube video because she's afraid she will go over.
