I think Spark is just their fancy marketing term for TD-LTE in Band 41 and 800MHz in Band 26, sort of like how "XLTE" is just a fancy marketing term for Verizon's AWS Band 4 LTE service. This was always a common problem with GSM...always found it kind of funny...I've never heard of it being a problem with LTE and I know its not an issue with CDMA technology's like CDMA2000 and UMTS/HSPA+.Good savings, great call quality, great LTE speed...Coverage is exactly the same as AT&T (perfect in my area) and LTE speeds are great.great service and great LTE coverage.Depends on your area, if you're lucky enough to have Spark or LTE in general, it can be pretty amazing. In areas I had GREAT LTE signal strength with my 5S.... on my 6 Plus is more on 4G... toggle airplane mode on/off..... goes back to fast amazing LTE, 3-5 mins later back to 4G... without even moving...They should have just done this iPhone Star MEGA iPhone MEGA iPhone 6S Mini iPhone Young iPhone ACE 4G LTE iPhone 4G LTE A iPhone ROUND S iPhone BEND PLUS S iPhone EDGE iPhone NO EDGE iPhone PRO iPhone ROYAL iPhone SuperSmart iPhone SuperDumb iPhone Kaptuer iPhone Patented iPhone Wonderful iPhone Magical iPhone Bigger than Bigger iPhone The U2 U Don't Want And that's just the first six months!I am excited for the iPhone for life plan they launched and ordered my 6+ Space Grey 16GB online...I am going to try out the store on Friday to see if I can get one that way faster though I used to live in a more remote area and Verizon was great there with the i5 and LTE but now that I am moving to a much bigger city Sprint service really won't be a problem at all and I'm excited for UNLIMITED data planHaving a FAST LTE on a plan that is not unlimited can be problematic so it would be nice to have Sprint as an option (of course assuming you are in a Sprint LTE service area).Great coverage and impressive LTE speeds.I've had both T-Mobile and Virgin Mobile (Sprint towers) and my ST 5S runs off AT&T towers, so therefore I get great coverage and great LTE.A little more info in the thread title would be nice Virgin Mobile is great though if you have Sprint LTE in your area.lol I can agree with his "fact" because I have met in this day and age some people who don't know all of the US states or where some are...or have never travelled outside of their home state....not to mention [Altho irrelevant] many people that don't even know where Canada is.... As for T-Mobile, I can't wait for them to launch the 700MHz LTE -- that is going to be great and ill definitely give them a go once I have the next iPhone thats compatible with their network!I too wouldn't switch to T-Mobile until their LTE 700 rolls out, I think its going to be a great improvement and worth switching...hopefully T-Mobile can also start working on suburbs/entire nation rather than just concentrating on major cities.End result is, I'm not the least bit impressed with new LTE service download speeds are just as bad if not worst that with old sim and it cost me about $300 in upgrades to find this out.I was on the T-Mobile family plan for almost 6 months, and while the price is great, customer service is great, the actual service is just ok. Too much switching of LTE to 4G in the same spot killing my battery, loss of signal even though i have 3-4 bars, and not having any of these issues on AT&T prepaid, I made the switch back as of today. Now after three months of stellar, very fast unlimited LTE connectivity without throttling even when using over 6GB of data each month, I'm very pleased with T-Mobile and my Note 3.I've enjoyed using between 7 & 8 GB of fast LTE (clocked as fast as my AT&T LTE) and extremely happy with the stellar Galaxy Note 3.Simplified: AT&T MVNO's: - AT&T GoPhone [I currently on $60 plan and its great] - AIO Wireless [Owned by AT&T] - Straight Talk [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Net10 [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - H2O Wireless - Go Red Pocket Mobile T-Mobile MVNO's: - GoSmart Mobile [Owned by T-Mobile] - Straight Talk [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Net10 [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Simple Mobile [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Ultra Mobile - Spot Mobile - Solavei - Platinum Tel - Metro PCS - iWireless - Walmart Family Mobile - 35orLess Sprint MVNO's: - Virgin Mobile - Straight Talk [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Net10 [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] Verizon MVNO's: - PagePlus - Straight Talk [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Net10 [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] If T-Mobile gave you the boot, go with AT&T MVNO's and I recommend: - #1 Straight Talk [Fast 4G + LTE Speeds slightly higher ping rates] - #2 GoPhone [Fastest 4G + LTE Speeds and Lowest Ping] - #3 AIO Wireless [Slightly cheaper than GoPhone with Fast 4G + LTE Speeds with slightly higher ping rates] Net10 and Straight Talk = Exact same except net10 = $5 more unless you do "Auto payment" T-Mobile MVNO's list has grown over the past couple of years maybe because its cheaper for companies to use its network vs AT&T but do note that you get LTE and much better coverage going with AT&T MVNO vs T-Mobile.USCC is a perfect fit for them due to the amount of rural LTE already deployed in the Northeast and it perfectly complements their 700B/C holdings.3G is great and LTE has been amazing.Kind of nice to have LTE at such a cheaper price :] P.S.Your speeds are horrible, but with a LTE capable device speeds are respectable. The funny thing is I get great LTE at my house where I don't need it because I'm on Wi-Fi most the time.AT&T is going to dominate at the end of the day, I like many have also recently switched to AT&T GoPhone $60 plan, which works great and LTE speeds are amazing!LTE in Chicago, IL near Downtown on this plan :-) I have done half a dozen speed tests, over 500 emails this month, messaging, google maps GPS navigation on probably 200-300miles worth, few hours of pandora streaming and I've used 1.2GB of data this month....still got 8 more days and 800MB remaining, this plan is great!compared to 4G LTE is amazing, Tmobile is doing a great job.3G sucks big time on Sprint but if you are in a LTE area like I am then it's really nice speed and unlimited data wise.Amazing LTE network, too bad that if you're not grandfathered into unlimited data you can barely use it.It's hilarious how Sprint and TMo users are constantly banging on about their great HSPA/EVDO speeds and are in complete denial that LTE exists these days. But LTE will be able to bring that to respectable speeds and with unlimited, it will be great. That said, I've loved my iP5 - LTE, the beautiful screen/color accuracy and speed of the device are wonderful.Tmobile won't launch lte till 2013 and even then it will probably only be in a select few cities so its not a bad idea to buy the verizon version Nice I traded my att iPhone 5 for the Verizon one just because I will probably never have tmobiles lte in my area and the Verizon version supports a lot more bands and one day I might go to Verizon they have lte in my area3 email accounts on push moderate to heavy browsing moderate gaming LTE on all the time Love my battery life.Oh I'm sorry I wasn't aware that when LTE first started rolling out that the phones that support the technology had great battery life, we're amazing thin, and the LTE network was in more than a hand full of cities. The iPhone 5S A1530 supports the following: Model A1530*: UMTS/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz); GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz); FDD-LTE (Bands 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20); TD-LTE (Bands 38, 39, 40) I googled it in about 15 seconds... Anyways its perfect for Europe AND Asia but in the US Its not going to work great with LTE.One time I took my SIM card out in a bad signal area and put it bag in and I had no service for about an hour even when I got back onto the Interstate from a friends house....something weird with Verizon and LTE iPhone's....In my case, sprint's (fake) coverage map was showing that there was excellent LTE coverage, but I had to be lucky to even get 1-2 bars of LTE, and the max speed was 1.5 Mbps at most.I switched to Verizon because I was tired of waiting on sprint's non existant LTE network and fed up with bad call quality as well as dropped calls.VZW: Pro's: VoLTE Better LTE coverage Con's: Horrible International Rates/Plans VoLTE speeds seem to be slower than 3G for many (still early though) Terrible Customer Service Tons of "extra's" popping up AT&T: Pro's: GSM Voice+Data - 4G, not LTE, but seems faster than VZW's VoLTE Best International Plans Con's: Abysmal LTE coverage I've found both carriers to be fairly equal with dropped calls, my concerns are international rates, VoLTE on VZW, AT&T's LTE commitment.Meanwhile, Apple deliberately make things confusing on their LTE info page, listing only the US models as LTE compatible with US carriers, a claim that appears to be misleading and false.$60 less per month is great, but not great enough given the coverage difference, especially because the LTE per line drops to 1 GB (really not enough) in 2015.It's not perfect with buildings, I go from LTE outdoors to 2G in the hallway to 4G in my office, but for the value it's amazing.Nice Wifi numbers but if the others are LTE then they're pretty terribleIt's also not uncommon to see areas that only have 1-2 bars of LTE coverage, which is weird, because if you switch your phone back to 3G, Verizon rarely has coverage under 4 bars. They are but T-mobile has passed Sprint LTE wise and I'm not fond of counting data so that's where I will land.I actually had my iPhone 5 replaced today which had the same issue but it was replaced because it was getting noticeably worse service and there was a lot of dust in the camera lens which was throwing off pictures and also the phone was dropping service but anyway, my battery drain is gone, plus especially on "4G" not LTE, its not draining even close to as bad as before even with only 1-3 dots of serviceSure it was fast and the LTE was amazing, but I absolutely hated picking it up and how cheap it felt.Frankly, matching VZW EVDO speeds is pretty damn pathetic after all these years, especially when VZW has went on record to say they will be 100% LTE by the end of 2013.I already tried to get used to the no surf and talk while on data and the annoying "multiple calls" thing when you get another call while being on one, it says multiple, if you hang up with one, the other goes away and rings you back, beyond weird, i realize this is a CDMA thing along w/ super slow 3g when LTE is not avail.I'm sure they'll be very sad to see you go though lol... You know, when you think threatening to take your non contract data hogging LTE elsewhere will convince them not to drop your precious unlimited data.Live streaming is almost impossible over iPhone 5 and wifi,, buffers all the time,, but works fine on LTE and 4g,, weird,,and i do have fast speeds on wifi ,, very strangeObviously you will get worse battery life on 3G or LTE..point is people were getting worse battery life before even on wifi...thats the point of posting the differences.

Maybe I'm just lucky enough to be in a great signal area.In areas I had GREAT LTE signal strength with my 5S.... on my 6 Plus is more on 4G... toggle airplane mode on/off..... goes back to fast amazing LTE, 3-5 mins later back to 4G... without even moving...Range is great for me; I live on a five acre hobby farm and the signal has a great radius within my property. Now Verizon has the perfect package for me, outstanding signal strength and advanced VoLTE capabilities. Now Verizon has the perfect package for me, outstanding signal strength and advanced VoLTE capabilities.Great signal in a lot of places and really great 4G speeds.great signal where i live and to most places i go to, except at my part time job (2 days/week) which is quite understandable as it's located in the boondocks. My battery life is related to phone/wifi signal - I can get really great battery life when I am in area with strong signal, when I am at work (mostly metal building), where the phone signal is really bad, I do not get through work day.The Nexus 5 for me has been great, it was my first 4G phone (London) and signal is great, battery was a bit meh but I wiped my phone and has since doubled, the camera is good enough, the 4.2.2 update fixed the slow focusing.Lovely unlimited data, 15mb all over London, but it just went bad over the course of the last 24 months too the point I had under 1MB or no signal most of the time.I was on the T-Mobile family plan for almost 6 months, and while the price is great, customer service is great, the actual service is just ok. Too much switching of LTE to 4G in the same spot killing my battery, loss of signal even though i have 3-4 bars, and not having any of these issues on AT&T prepaid, I made the switch back as of today.Mine doesn't rattle, neither it restarts by itself, the touch id works perfectly every single time , I have no problems with signal or wifi and the battery last all day using it heavily; I wanted to change my 5s 16g for a 32g but now I'm honestly scared to see all the problems other people have with their phone, I think I got lucky, and now I won't change it.If a battery is dropping 10% in 8 hours just sitting there asleep doing nothing, I'd say that's not satisfactory unless you're in an area with bad cell coverage and it's fighting to keep a signal or something. One time I took my SIM card out in a bad signal area and put it bag in and I had no service for about an hour even when I got back onto the Interstate from a friends house....something weird with Verizon and LTE iPhone's....You probably had a bad signal during class - a bad cell signal will constantly be scanning for signal and eat up more battery life.I had to go through 6 iPhone 5 devices because one had horrid crackling during calls (every call, to any number and however strong the signal was), four had loose buttons (including the one I ended up keeping), and three had nasty scratches on the casing (as well as loose buttons on two of them).EE signal and speeds are great, but their data allowance is just terrible. It's also very bad where I live (Essex) and they have given me a Home Signal box which works great but it doesn't ultimately solve the problem. The Verizon one will either keep searching for a cell signal (bad for battery life), or won't have functional GPS (bad if you're out hiking or camping). For the first months since I purchase the 5s, the battery life was terrible, I've read over the net that the 3-4 hours that I got from 100%, was possible with few degrading variables such as heat, low signal strength , higher brightness, etc.If he's on cellular data then his signal is very ideal, if not perfect. But I'm moving soon and I'm afraid I won't have AT&T signal where my new house is; might have to switch to our local CDMA carrier.I have been a T-Mobile iPhone user for about a three years now..at first i had to deal with the terrible speed of EDGE since the iPhone is not built to run on T-Mobile's network..about two months ago i was finally able to get 3G on my iPhone 5 thanks to T-Mobile's attempt to upgrade their network to be able to drag more iPhone users to join their network...I'll admit at first i was really excited about this but after two weeks of 3G coming in and out, weak signal, dropping calls i finally said i've had enough, my iPhone would drop from 3G to EDGE at random times and even go NO SERVICE!!Worse battery life i've had out of the 3 charges but this time ive been at work where signal is worse so hense battery dropping quicker. No 3G coverage at work.I know my router isn't that great and in the one area of my house I spend the most time after work (by the TV) the signal isn't stellar. In my testing using the numeric numbers for signal strength I have had the same results 100% of the time... if signal is 0-65 it's good wifi with great speed, but if it is 65+ forget it.. ugly, super slow.
3g
Trust me, I had to work for it, I was considering selling the 3G iPhone last week on ebay for few bucks if it was worth that much...until I saw the Best Buy ad, the first day I went there they wouldn't take it, so I reached out @ their social media site and they gave me a $100 GC (being mailed), then I went back the following day back to Best Buy and they finally took my iPhone 3G 8GB and gave me $100 for it and also took my iPhone 5 for $180, I was super happy with it.Replacement ok. IPhone 3GS - perfect iPhone 4 - perfect iPhone 4 white - perfect iPhone 4s - perfect iPhone 5- perfect iPhone 5s - perfect then lost on holiday, replacement, perfect iPhone 6 Plus - perfect iPad 2 3G - perfect iPad 3 3G - perfect until about 8 months old, 1 inch line of dead pixels.Maybe I'm too picky, but I have never seen a phone that is 100% perfect and I'm talking about every generation since iPhone 3G.With 3G on Verizon thanks to EvDO sucking massively in comparison to UMTS with all the fancy HSPA upgrades I'm happy if I get over 1.05!3G is great and LTE has been amazing. You won't find anywhere that I said Sprint was great and that 3G service was wonderful.iPhone 3G - perfect iPhone 4 - perfect iPhone 4S - perfect iPad 1st gen. - perfect iPad 2 - perfect iPad 3 - Multiple display issues, multiple returns, sold for iPad mini iPad mini - perfect iPhone 5 - 1st one damaged, second acceptable Now this.3G sucks big time on Sprint but if you are in a LTE area like I am then it's really nice speed and unlimited data wise.I love the phone, the screen is very sharp and vivid, the camera (now that it is working, lol) is great and it is super fast (compared to my 3G).And also given that most of their customers are moving to 3G UMTS network their other GPRS/EDGE network isn't getting much traffic so its perfect for all that extra space to be used with Chatr.Thought I posted in here, well if I did this is another post lol Glad I'm not the only weirdo :P I love the iPhone 3G, never had one but I remember wanting one so bad when iPhone was AT&T only.VZW: Pro's: VoLTE Better LTE coverage Con's: Horrible International Rates/Plans VoLTE speeds seem to be slower than 3G for many (still early though) Terrible Customer Service Tons of "extra's" popping up AT&T: Pro's: GSM Voice+Data - 4G, not LTE, but seems faster than VZW's VoLTE Best International Plans Con's: Abysmal LTE coverage I've found both carriers to be fairly equal with dropped calls, my concerns are international rates, VoLTE on VZW, AT&T's LTE commitment.from best to worst in my opinion: 4/4S > 5/5S > original 2G > 6/6+ > 5C > 3G/3GS The plastic backs just don't do it for me, and the massive bulge of the 3G combined with the fake chrome rim around the front...ugh.I had black on the following models 2g 3g 3gs 4 Then on the 4s i switched to white...it definitely made something that was starting to feel stale a little more lifelike since the phone was getting stale itself.think twice about sprint, their the worst carrier in the states, very unfriendly towards consumers, harsh unlock policies, terrible 3G speeds (below 500kbps) you'll be better off with a MVNO using at&t infrastructure like a gsm version of straight talkWhat's ironic is that, because of the original iPhone with no 3G, AT&T had to spend months backfitting their system for a higher speed EDGE so the new Apple device wouldn't look pitiful running at 59 Kbps.Loved the iPhone 3G and I upgraded too the Samsung Galaxy S, it had pretty awesome specs but Android apps where not good at the time, and the OS although feature rich was ugly. It's also not uncommon to see areas that only have 1-2 bars of LTE coverage, which is weird, because if you switch your phone back to 3G, Verizon rarely has coverage under 4 bars. The 1900mhz 3G penetrates buildings worse than AWS and the coverage is less expansive. Those of us who went from original iPhone to 3G or 3GS were surprised how cheap and plasticky it felt (combined with the lighter weight), along with the worse build quality. As far as Sprint's 3G speeds being abysmal in all areas, that claim is inaccurate.Yup, no point making a nice phone such as an iPhone 5 a brick on T-Mobile's horrendous 3G network running on 1900 MHz.I have been a T-Mobile iPhone user for about a three years now..at first i had to deal with the terrible speed of EDGE since the iPhone is not built to run on T-Mobile's network..about two months ago i was finally able to get 3G on my iPhone 5 thanks to T-Mobile's attempt to upgrade their network to be able to drag more iPhone users to join their network...I'll admit at first i was really excited about this but after two weeks of 3G coming in and out, weak signal, dropping calls i finally said i've had enough, my iPhone would drop from 3G to EDGE at random times and even go NO SERVICE!!I already tried to get used to the no surf and talk while on data and the annoying "multiple calls" thing when you get another call while being on one, it says multiple, if you hang up with one, the other goes away and rings you back, beyond weird, i realize this is a CDMA thing along w/ super slow 3g when LTE is not avail.Worse battery life i've had out of the 3 charges but this time ive been at work where signal is worse so hense battery dropping quicker. No 3G coverage at work.Obviously you will get worse battery life on 3G or LTE..point is people were getting worse battery life before even on wifi...thats the point of posting the differences.I just sold my 3G.. very sad to see the bad boy go.. Now i gotta wait for the i4My phone is a 3G not the 3gS Ability to transfer data via bluetooth (admittedly, i don't use bluetooth that often but it would be nice to have the ability to do so) 5 items on the dock instead of 4 (i had my phone jailbroken for awhile -not anymore- and really loved that option) Ability to open .ICS events natively especially when I'm traveling and my phone is the only option for email checking (i do not have an exchange account or mobileme) Flash (yeah, i know, extremely unrealistic given Jobs' comments about Flash not terribly long ago) An earlier post mentioned a drop-down on the home screen for wi-fi options, i.e, the same function available on the Mac desktop.I also loved that mockup, I was actually disappointed when the 3g was announced, it looked bad by comparison.

I went into settings, safari (my phone browser), selected advanced, then website data, then remove all website data (at the bottom) and the discs went away, I don't think I lost any of my saved passwords or anything that I wanted to keep probably just cached pages to help sites load faster, but the discs annoyed me so I was happy they went away. Also the battery life on the 6 Plus is amazing, you need to adjust some settings for optimal battery life, these links will help...There are mounds more settings in iOS (which can be overwhelming at first) but you get more control over what you want to control such as fine grained notification control, permissions management and a smart backup solution.Going into accessibility settings and toggling Reduce Motion and Increase Contrast to on seemed to make it more tolerable performance wise.Definitely getting worse (but not terrible) battery life out of my 5 compared to my 4 under exactly the same settings and usage. In some ways it's nice, because otherwise I'd be kind of glued to my phone like some people are, and that's really disrespectful in group settings..but that's a totally separate discussion topic.yeah but that lag in your video is very serious and clearly seems to be something mechanically defective in your device if that is common, I came from a 6 to a 6 plus and the 6 plus is just as buttery smooth fast as the 6 that i came from, with no lag or stutters for me ever I also have TLC nand memory, which is suppose to be the worse NAND that causes some people issues but i myself have had no issues at all with it Try a hard reset (home and lock button until screen turns off completely) and also try turning on Reduce transparency in accessbility in general in settingsyeah but that lag in your video is very serious and clearly seems to be something mechanically defective in your device if that is common, I came from a 6 to a 6 plus and the 6 plus is just as buttery smooth fast as the 6 that i came from, with no lag or stutters for me ever I also have TLC nand memory, which is suppose to be the worse NAND that causes some people issues but i myself have had no issues at all with it Try a hard reset (home and lock button until screen turns off completely) and also try turning on Reduce transparency in accessbility in general in settingsWorst case scenario, you find the backup problematic, you erase all content and settings and setup phone as new.In every case excluding maybe a rare extremely god awful console port pc settings maxed out blow consoles out of the water, those kind of graphics are not applicable to consoles, they at aren't powerful enough, no amount of optimization will fix that.I'm seeing it and it is worse than terrible... iPhone 6 speedtest (after resetting network settings): 0.01 d/l 3.35 u/l AWFUL.

call
Good savings, great call quality, great LTE speed...For those that are lucky enough to live in an area with good Sprint coverage and use it as their Internet, I can imagine it would be of great annoyance to constantly have your internet completely disconnect on you the moment you get a call. Now when i make a call through my Mac (via iPhone) i hear perfect ( have a great set of speakers).I did appreciate the call back and his apology, nice to hear from someone intelligent enough to grasp the situation and be able to explain what is realistic. You deserve perfect cuz you paid for perfect , your not the bad guy cuz you demand your phone work , that's called taking a stand and not letting subpar quality control affect you because it shouldn't affect one of us , we as consumers should stick together on something like this and give each other the knowledge to get the job done , not doubt and call names like children Than why after 3 white box replacements through the mail with the same manager on the case did I get upgraded to a 5s white 16 gig , I'm begging people to not make statements that aren't true , if you suffer through 3 defective iphone 5 they will upgrade you to a 5s because after 3 refurbs they must give you a new device and they don't make new 5 anymore they only have refurb white box , I video tapped all 3 of my white box unboxings right from the signing to the opening and they all had scratched screens or something else and I had the proof , not only did I get upgraded I received a call from Erik from corporate who was stunned with what I went through and sent me a 32 gig iPod touch , just please stop assuming people are trying to commit fraud because we aren't , we are simply here trying to help each other get on the right path to enjoying their devices and if sharing my story and the email address of the managers that helped me gets something done for someone else and helps out one more lost person going through what I did that makes me feel great , we should all recieve perfect devices the first time and that don't happen but we have rights and should use themGreat battery, Great call quality.Borg.... resistance is futile...you will be assimilated... you will be the same unsubscribed ps... am I the only one who thinks its weird that their iPhones are so important to them they cannot miss a call or text that its life or death each time... that given all that they actually put the thing down and walk away from it.I asked if I could use 2 of the dumb lines and purchase the ip6 and add a very basic data package to the 2 dumb phones and then immediately drop the data package and the 2 ip6 and put the old phones with the old call plans back and he said you can't do that anymore because verizon now makes you keep that basic data plan for a year or something.I switched to Verizon because I was tired of waiting on sprint's non existant LTE network and fed up with bad call quality as well as dropped calls.+ is an appealing device, however I personally feel it looks a bit obnoxious when up against my head on a call.I had to go through 6 iPhone 5 devices because one had horrid crackling during calls (every call, to any number and however strong the signal was), four had loose buttons (including the one I ended up keeping), and three had nasty scratches on the casing (as well as loose buttons on two of them).I've never owned a recent iPhone (the iPhone 4 was the last version that I owned) but in my experience all iPhones have been very laggy in opening apps, and especially bad at answering phone calls (many times the call ends before I can make the dumb "slide to answer" thingy actually work. After having consistently terrible service at our new home last year (to the point of getting a MicroCell) I placed a call to AT&T to try and figure out why my service was so bad.Imagine this: In a store waiting by the cashier and your phone starts to tell you: Buy milk - ok that is ok Buy condoms - hmm, tricky Call your boss - hmm, ok Buy tampons - awkward And those are just very simple examples. It was so obvious because 1-4 were worse than the worst for outgoing call quality.T-Mobile has the worst reliability, the worst data performance, the worst call performance and the worst text performance.Yeah probably Yeah if you have a bad phone with the battery being defective you should have already gotten a call from apple telling you.I already tried to get used to the no surf and talk while on data and the annoying "multiple calls" thing when you get another call while being on one, it says multiple, if you hang up with one, the other goes away and rings you back, beyond weird, i realize this is a CDMA thing along w/ super slow 3g when LTE is not avail.Whoah, this is weird that you say that, but when I first bought it and made my first phone call, I got really dizzy and queazy and a pulsing feeling in my head.
calls
Calls sound great, iOS 8 seems to work fantastically, browses great, and the regular web sites look good (after a simple pull down on the web page to load them...thanks iOS8) on this size phone.Calls sound great, iOS 8 seems to work fantastically (outside of some skins of apps not loading all the time), browses great, and the regular web sites look good (after a simple pull down on the web page to load them...thanks iOS8) on this size phone.Calls sound great, iOS 8 seems to work fantastically (outside of some skins of apps not loading all the time), browses great, and the regular web sites look good (after a simple pull down on the web page to load them...thanks iOS8) on this size phone. While wireless phones are great for mobility, it is funny how we've gone from wired phones offering crystal clear clarity for even international calls to tolerating low quality cellular calls, not being able to make/receive calls indoors, or dead zones outside major metro areas.I want to keep this phone bad but constantly having no service and edge (just as useless, cant even make calls) in my own room is kind of a dealbreaker.I had to go through 6 iPhone 5 devices because one had horrid crackling during calls (every call, to any number and however strong the signal was), four had loose buttons (including the one I ended up keeping), and three had nasty scratches on the casing (as well as loose buttons on two of them). The 6, on the other hand, is a perfect size for a smartphone, thin, light, and won't be bulky, tiresome, or unnecessarily cumbersome for the more mundane tasks of smartphones, such as texting and making calls.I have been a T-Mobile iPhone user for about a three years now..at first i had to deal with the terrible speed of EDGE since the iPhone is not built to run on T-Mobile's network..about two months ago i was finally able to get 3G on my iPhone 5 thanks to T-Mobile's attempt to upgrade their network to be able to drag more iPhone users to join their network...I'll admit at first i was really excited about this but after two weeks of 3G coming in and out, weak signal, dropping calls i finally said i've had enough, my iPhone would drop from 3G to EDGE at random times and even go NO SERVICE!!I already tried to get used to the no surf and talk while on data and the annoying "multiple calls" thing when you get another call while being on one, it says multiple, if you hang up with one, the other goes away and rings you back, beyond weird, i realize this is a CDMA thing along w/ super slow 3g when LTE is not avail.
music
But think about only one thing: if Apple could add a micro sd slot or a proprietary type of card for the iPhone and lock them only for the music this would be a great business.... Be honest 16 gb are enough for anything but music, videos photos and apps are very well fitted in the 16 gb space...I've purchased iPhones for as long as they've been out there, sung the praises of Apple to the mountaintops, and slowly filled my home with Macbook, iMac, multiple iPads and iPods, not to mention spent $1000s in music in iTunes...and there's the rub, it's because I've been such a loyal customer, accustomed to wonderful and rapid service, that this botched rollout has raised my ire, this is not what I'm accustomed to with Apple, and galling is a great description of my feelings at present.I've got tons of great music (sequenced playlists - streaming is not the end all for music lovers), movies, pod-casts, loads of great apps, photos and videos on mine (128GB) and still have 52GB free.Nice dog, nice places, nice video, but very ugly music.I agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GBiPhone 6 works great with Toyota Prius 2010-- music, phone, contacts perfect. There are people who will wait on line for 10 days to get tickets to a music festival or fly cross-country to attend a road football game, not sure what's so shocking about a tech fan wanting the latest and greatest shipped to his home as soon as possible.I'm sure many here will go into a fit of rage since it's kind of the in thing to hate U2 nowadays, but just wanted to pass along some pretty strong rumors that have started making rounds around Twitter from music journalists and sources inside Univeral Records/U2's camp that there is going to be some kind of tie in with U2 next Tuesday, possibly resulting in their new album or single being preloaded on the iPhone 6.Creative applications (motion or still editing, music making and artistry, DJs and musicians...even productivity with iWork and 'fun' with the free iLife suite, as well as Microsoft's Offoce suite) and aggregation with your Mac, iPad and other iOS devices is the compelling & reasonable argument to make the change. The funny thing is that I dress kinda junkie and I listen to old school music (like Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, CCR, The Doors etc) and I walk around with a fancy champagne-gold phone.I have Beta 3 on my 4S in the UK and it's brilliant, it's very usable and HE has a bit of a attitude, I listen to music whilst on the train / walking to/from work and when I asked him the time this morning he said "The time sponsored is 08:15 am, beep" haha quite impressive. It's actually been kind of nice not worrying about how many pictures I have saved, taking tons of videos, and putting my entire music collection on the phone. It would make the world a better place by disabling the idiots who listen to bad music which sounds even worse through these speakers in the subway or in the streets at night or at the restaurant.I realize I didn't start using my phone until the battery was already around 70%, and that I was more-or-less using the phone non-stop for this period of time, but this kind of battery life still seems abysmal, especially for simple tasks like web browsing, streaming music with the screen turned off, taking a few pictures, etc.The same with this damned music app, which tends to crash every hour, that's extremely annoying, in my opinion Despite this, safari crashes also a lot, but it's bearable, though not nice.Alot of people have had there iPhones replaced for minor scuffing, apple don't care they will replace it for CUSTOMER satisfaction, please remember that the lowest model of the iPhone 5 costs 529 pounds and costs 140 pounds to produce, please don't comment if you're going to troll because you are a 'perfect human being' NO ONES PERFECT, take your music buying skills somewhere else, cause tbh no one cares.

"Safari feels snappier" is not worth _that_ muchThe major major thing with the 6+ is how shocking bad safari behaves.Either Safari is horrible at memory management, iOS is horrible at memory management, or iOS devices need more RAM.Through all that copying and pasting you still missed the boat...Oh, please just leave android out of it that **** is old and lame now....but like i said you missed the boat bad, the plus needed more ram period...ram/processor works as a tandem, damn the bench score...what about the issues with safari address that with your bench scores...it will fall back to ram/processorI will buy it, use safari extensively and see how "bad" it is, and sell it if it's worse than the current phone; I will most definitely make money on the deal lol.I asked Siri to open safari a few days ago and it asked me if u want to search the web for something inappropriate even though I just said "Siri, can you please open Safari" I was a bit offended by that...Siri is really annoying and never understandsThe same with this damned music app, which tends to crash every hour, that's extremely annoying, in my opinion Despite this, safari crashes also a lot, but it's bearable, though not nice.
mode
Like TVs they tend to set the screens to the vibrant mode to catch your attention in the store as we humans tend to like bright bold colours in those situations. In areas I had GREAT LTE signal strength with my 5S.... on my 6 Plus is more on 4G... toggle airplane mode on/off..... goes back to fast amazing LTE, 3-5 mins later back to 4G... without even moving...I would really like the OIS for the camera and the landscape dual pane mode for apps looks awesome (Though I find it annoying that they didn't add faces to iMessage on the 6...it already increased width from the 5s, the icons would fit fine.)Horses were perfect too as a mode of transportation for years, doesn't mean that when something newer that was better and actually had enough support and desirability wouldn't then be perfect instead.(The second biggest factor is that annoying, pointless, and confusing outgoing text sound iphone makes that can't be turned off in non-vibrate mode.It is the dishonest and unethical "people" (i use that word loosely) who violated the TOS by using it in tether mode.Perhaps leaving the phone on "demo" mode all day long "fixes" the display c. We all just have the worst luck and have in fact received "defective" displays 2.Got an email from AT&T though reviewing my plan and telling me stuff for my account, but who knows....happy for everyone in the group in shipping mode, feel bad for me, hahaA Low Reflective Screen Mode For When You Wish To Read Ebooks On The iPhone Not as much real estate wasted on the front of the phone as current iPhones (The black part on the top and bottom of the iphone need to be much smaller, basically, almost all of the front of the phone should be the screen) It's ugly how much space/real estate is wasted on the current design of the front of the iPhone Front facing camera so that we could make videocalls, atleast while connected to Wifi N iChat Support Flash Support (I want to access hulu from my iphone damn it!)
issues
I hope by Christmas this will be cleared out so I can treat myself to a nice Christmas present It would be nice to know if those that have iPhone 6 and use it in the back pocket and even sit on it had any issues.I really thought I'd at least be giving it a chance down the road (you can see my previous posts from before the launch when we didn't know we'd be getting both at the same time) but the 6 is pretty damn perfect so coupled with the +'s issues I no longer feel the need.- dead pixel - backlight bleed - uniformity (one side darker, yellower) - smudge / smear inside glass - dust inside screen - dust or dirt inside glass (outside of screen area) - recessed / uneven volume button (on one but not another) - sticky vibration button (normal ones have a nice firm click) - uneven pressure / sticky / unbalance on sleep wake button (normal ones have a nice click to it) - uneven home button pressure (perfect ones have a nice click to it, but this is personal preference) - uneven gap when assembled (run your finger on the edge on each side and compare for your 6/6+) - dust inside camera lens - general cosmetic scratches / chips / dings (Apple logo, aluminum, buttons, sim slot) And this list hasn't even covered technical issues like wifi, Bluetooth, Touch ID, vibration rattle, etc.I think there is an unfortunate design compromise and a bit disappointed Apple hasn't learnt from similar issues with the 5 and made it even worse, but I still want the phone and will probably keep it with AppleCare+.I got pretty much bored of Android, I had a rooted Galaxy S2 with Cyanogenmod in it, it wasn't a bad phone but it was annoying seeing the force closes, soft reboots, battery life issues. They are very friendly and accommodating for this kind of thing, and I have done it before many times in-store without any issues.I agree, i don't have any issues with ram on my 5c but If I pay a smartphone $800, it better be high tech, It's been a while since we had a ram upgrade, 2gb of lpddr4 would be awesome, more than that would be freaking wonderful hahaI just upgraded to the iPhone 5s and for my need it a great phone all though I had to take it back cause it had issues in the first three months the off and on thing, until then I had the 4s and it worked great.Haha some very amusing replies, as amusing as a stick, thanks for the the time worthy replies though, I guess it's not a big deal and I'll live with it, just glad I don't have other issues with the phone and only a minor one.I was on the T-Mobile family plan for almost 6 months, and while the price is great, customer service is great, the actual service is just ok. Too much switching of LTE to 4G in the same spot killing my battery, loss of signal even though i have 3-4 bars, and not having any of these issues on AT&T prepaid, I made the switch back as of today.iPhone 3G - perfect iPhone 4 - perfect iPhone 4S - perfect iPad 1st gen. - perfect iPad 2 - perfect iPad 3 - Multiple display issues, multiple returns, sold for iPad mini iPad mini - perfect iPhone 5 - 1st one damaged, second acceptable Now this.Hi everyone , I'm here to inform you all that I've solved this problem after battling for hours , I red a lot of post on various forums and tried , changed/removed security/encryption standards , changed DNS , Tried different channels , toggled genius in privacy ... etc but none worked I have a 5 year old netgear wifi router which worked just perfect with ipad , iPhone 4 & 4s but since I got i5 , I've faced serious wifi issues like , average browsing , ultra slow app store download speeds ... for a 10mb app it took more than 15 mins to complete , on 20 MBps broadband line .. After trying every solution out there I tried my friends Belkin and Netgear N series router , and everything worked perfect @ blazing speeds on both belkin & N series, found the difference almost instantly(on all my old devices as well) .Only in some apps mind you, like navigation apps you see much less on the iPhone and you get some weird banding display issues that make the map fairly ugly.Loved it until weird things started happening... First, I have been restarting my phone more then 10 times in a week trying to get some weird issues fixed.People rag on Apple, some issues to be sure but great customer service is worth a lot.yeah but that lag in your video is very serious and clearly seems to be something mechanically defective in your device if that is common, I came from a 6 to a 6 plus and the 6 plus is just as buttery smooth fast as the 6 that i came from, with no lag or stutters for me ever I also have TLC nand memory, which is suppose to be the worse NAND that causes some people issues but i myself have had no issues at all with it Try a hard reset (home and lock button until screen turns off completely) and also try turning on Reduce transparency in accessbility in general in settingsyeah but that lag in your video is very serious and clearly seems to be something mechanically defective in your device if that is common, I came from a 6 to a 6 plus and the 6 plus is just as buttery smooth fast as the 6 that i came from, with no lag or stutters for me ever I also have TLC nand memory, which is suppose to be the worse NAND that causes some people issues but i myself have had no issues at all with it Try a hard reset (home and lock button until screen turns off completely) and also try turning on Reduce transparency in accessbility in general in settingsAs a whole, when you add up all OEM's that use Android and all their issues combined, it is drastically worse then Apple's issues combined(2014 Moto G having terrible memory issue problems that Motorola isn't acknowledging, and so much more)Some display units may exhibit it, some may not, thats the thing with LCD technology, it is not 100% perfect and this is where OLED has advantages in having perfect screen uniformity and no backlight(OLED has issues of its own too though) Id say just keep it, nd just relax...slowly overtime too itll go away the backlight as we start to use our phones even more I believe, or itll just dim enough to the point where it is gone eventually....if you truly want to get your phone completly replaced , its really hit or miss with the Genius's, you could of told them, "hey this issue just started developing and im afraid itll get worse over time," etc etc.I too have ever so slightly backlight bleeding at same exact spot on my Plus, it isnt really too bad at all, on black screens it prettt much looks uniform, but there is a little bit that I do see....wonder if overtime as the backlight gets used if itll even out or slightly dim there, kind of bothers me, but I think my case is lighter then yours, not gonna try and go replace it though because the next one could be worse or have other issues (my Plus is flawless in every single other way)Left IOS after experiencing horrible connection issues with the 4 due both to "antennagate" and bad AT&T coverage. Not to start a discussion on unions, because I am well aware of just how corrupt and crooked they can be (Local 63 had it's own issues too).all just not cool when i've paid 1K for an iPhone and cases and it had a kernel panic, must have been a bad chip, so weird as i mentioned it on my old mac book, when i wrote the thread - i think peeps from UK were posting thinking i could just pop over to a store, time difference, plus i was not sure if could store could even help b/c of stock issues..... what are the odds of 2 KP's esp one on an iPhone! The extra inch of screen isn't worth the issues because the phone is far too long and becomes unwieldy for what *I* want of it.As I've posted before, decide whether or not getting a replacement is worth it knowing you might get a phone with a worse screen, scratches, issues, or is bent out of the boxAfter hearing of people having issues with the 5s I was apprehensive about it working well on the 6, but no... it's been absolutely perfect, except for times when my finger is damp with sweat or water.I've returned iPads for yellow screen issues, but in truth the ones I have now that I am happy with are not perfect. This one doesn't have a fault either......it's just pathetic Internet trolling that a very very few minority of people have suffered, in which most of them will have suffered due to misuse......it's as simple as that......and if you haven't bought one yet, then simply don't buy one if you're that worried......I have bought one, I'm treating it like the respect it deserves for being such an expensive device......if you can't handle such a big phone in your lifestyle, don't buy it, simple as that......I guarantee they will still sell more phones than anyone else this year, and I know it's not about sales, it's about customer satisfaction......and as i said, a few moaning idiots on here doesn't show the majority vote here......people who have no issues will not bother coming here, they will simply be enjoying their device and getting on with their lives.....something I wish all the moaners would do instead of just crying about issues that don't exist if you treat things properly.Horrible lag issues with touchwiz and the cheap bezels and body structure. The iPad had issues with large dispay variation, excessive heat and overall mediocre performance.Through all that copying and pasting you still missed the boat...Oh, please just leave android out of it that **** is old and lame now....but like i said you missed the boat bad, the plus needed more ram period...ram/processor works as a tandem, damn the bench score...what about the issues with safari address that with your bench scores...it will fall back to ram/processorWhat's amazing is that no one seems to have any glaring issues with their phones.so bizarre, can only assume they had issues with bad people doing unsavory things so it had to become stricter but clearly it's too strict now! It's funny - I have come to know Apple as a tech company with a good track record on many issues, but the one thing where Apple is not just good, great or amazing but absolutely perfect is getting things delivered to customers on the launch date.I think if activations aren't smooth, the issues won't be anywhere near as bad as in the past (when they were bad that is).iPhone5s Defective Battery - Genius Bar Rejection Twice, horrible AppleCare Service *Reported all these issues, Apple is now "investigating it" Whatever means, just s slap on the wrist for them*on the contrary, web browsing is the main thing I use my phone for, I've never had "ram" issues but I don't look for trouble, having 8 open tabs is dumbI was having issues with the home button from day 1... My fault for not taking it in straight away, and of course Apple would have to take "on trust," but in this case, the home button issue (at worst) was made worse by the fall.If worst comes to worst just go to a 3rd party iphone repair shop and get the battery replaced there with no issues and probably cheaper too.i have been having horrible issues with my phones battery and basically i think the battery is bad which is what ever ill pay the 80 bucks and have it replaced.I had some of those same issues w/ AT&T, but they were much more tolerable as it was just frustrating w/ TMo.And we've had occasional issues with the 4 and 4S's but now that the 5's are being passed around its seems like there is always someone with a bad power button or lousy battery.Seems to me WiFi issues are getting worse and worse. While I am tempted to think that most of my issues were hardware issues, I found it hard to believe that I could be so unlucky to get one with a bad battery.Terrible proximity sensor issues (hung up on like 5 people today) and the death grip is pretty bad.

Too much switching of LTE to 4G in the same spot killing my battery, loss of signal even though i have 3-4 bars, and not having any of these issues on AT&T prepaid, I made the switch back as of today.Simplified: AT&T MVNO's: - AT&T GoPhone [I currently on $60 plan and its great] - AIO Wireless [Owned by AT&T] - Straight Talk [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Net10 [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - H2O Wireless - Go Red Pocket Mobile T-Mobile MVNO's: - GoSmart Mobile [Owned by T-Mobile] - Straight Talk [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Net10 [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Simple Mobile [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Ultra Mobile - Spot Mobile - Solavei - Platinum Tel - Metro PCS - iWireless - Walmart Family Mobile - 35orLess Sprint MVNO's: - Virgin Mobile - Straight Talk [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Net10 [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] Verizon MVNO's: - PagePlus - Straight Talk [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Net10 [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] If T-Mobile gave you the boot, go with AT&T MVNO's and I recommend: - #1 Straight Talk [Fast 4G + LTE Speeds slightly higher ping rates] - #2 GoPhone [Fastest 4G + LTE Speeds and Lowest Ping] - #3 AIO Wireless [Slightly cheaper than GoPhone with Fast 4G + LTE Speeds with slightly higher ping rates] Net10 and Straight Talk = Exact same except net10 = $5 more unless you do "Auto payment" T-Mobile MVNO's list has grown over the past couple of years maybe because its cheaper for companies to use its network vs AT&T but do note that you get LTE and much better coverage going with AT&T MVNO vs T-Mobile.compared to 4G LTE is amazing, Tmobile is doing a great job.The truth of it is though, I'm not even sure I want an iphone 5, I think the smart phone technology is great and I am quite impressed by the 4g network after doing speed tests on it, quite impressed with the new displays & quad cores being thrown into phones its crazy.VZW: Pro's: VoLTE Better LTE coverage Con's: Horrible International Rates/Plans VoLTE speeds seem to be slower than 3G for many (still early though) Terrible Customer Service Tons of "extra's" popping up AT&T: Pro's: GSM Voice+Data - 4G, not LTE, but seems faster than VZW's VoLTE Best International Plans Con's: Abysmal LTE coverage I've found both carriers to be fairly equal with dropped calls, my concerns are international rates, VoLTE on VZW, AT&T's LTE commitment. It's not perfect with buildings, I go from LTE outdoors to 2G in the hallway to 4G in my office, but for the value it's amazing.I actually had my iPhone 5 replaced today which had the same issue but it was replaced because it was getting noticeably worse service and there was a lot of dust in the camera lens which was throwing off pictures and also the phone was dropping service but anyway, my battery drain is gone, plus especially on "4G" not LTE, its not draining even close to as bad as before even with only 1-3 dots of serviceLive streaming is almost impossible over iPhone 5 and wifi,, buffers all the time,, but works fine on LTE and 4g,, weird,,and i do have fast speeds on wifi ,, very strangeHSPA+ isn't a great deal faster than HSPA in my experience and isn't worthy of being called 4G!

just be very nice and ask them to "please help you"....this is what u switched too..blah and that you are so happy with the service you would not want to leave for another carrier but have tested another network and will port the # over and save $'s by doing so.I personally agree that sprint network is bad but in couple spots is really great. If I wasn't on a family plan only paying for unlimited data then I would be on one of the following: - Verizons $60/mo 2gb + unlim talk & text plan (includes phone subsidy worth $18.75/mo) - Crickets $35/mo 1gb + unlim talk & text plan - Brightspot Mobiles $29/mo 3gb + 300 min + unlim text Gun to my head right now I'd pick Verizon's deal, best combination of great network and value on an individual currently running IMO.Even though I'm quite happy with T-Mobile because it offers great service for my use pattern and priorities, I'm not going to recommend it to anyone who wants/needs the broadest network coverage possible, and is willing to pay more to get it.I used to use the virgin deal , but after being given a couple of out of contract iPhone 4 we went with Genius wireless, we have three phones on the verizon network for just $75 each per yr, there are some other deals for time, data etc, but for pretty low users this is perfect, I only use wifi for data ...worth checking their plans...def a plus for teenagers too, no overspending from my teen.Your phone will work just fine....HSPA+ is a great network with great speedslol I can agree with his "fact" because I have met in this day and age some people who don't know all of the US states or where some are...or have never travelled outside of their home state....not to mention [Altho irrelevant] many people that don't even know where Canada is.... As for T-Mobile, I can't wait for them to launch the 700MHz LTE -- that is going to be great and ill definitely give them a go once I have the next iPhone thats compatible with their network! You agree not to misuse the Service or Device, including but not limited to: (a) reselling or rebilling our Service; they should provide it to me at cost since their network is awful.No...because they have a terrible network and everyone I know that has Sprint has bad service.I wouldn't consider Sprint because of its network but I'm glad T-Mobile and Spring are fighting it out because I feel like it puts pricing pressure on AT&T and Verizon (who screw people over with their absurd pricing). So your outrage over the unlock policy (and I get it because it's draconian and stupid) is strange considering that you want to STAY on the Sprint network. He allowed the network to deteriorate, made the bad decision to buy Nextel and the board replaced him with Dan Hesse, who himself is not the greatest.Yup, no point making a nice phone such as an iPhone 5 a brick on T-Mobile's horrendous 3G network running on 1900 MHz.I have been a T-Mobile iPhone user for about a three years now..at first i had to deal with the terrible speed of EDGE since the iPhone is not built to run on T-Mobile's network..about two months ago i was finally able to get 3G on my iPhone 5 thanks to T-Mobile's attempt to upgrade their network to be able to drag more iPhone users to join their network...I'll admit at first i was really excited about this but after two weeks of 3G coming in and out, weak signal, dropping calls i finally said i've had enough, my iPhone would drop from 3G to EDGE at random times and even go NO SERVICE!!I find it ironic that the worst wifi speeds I get is from the ATT network at my local Starbuck.

Nah, its great other wise and voice over wifi should be available soon.Great screen, great reception, great voice if you are on GSM.I'm vain but not vain I still don't really know what to do though...yes I can wait...but the thought of having a camera and a voice recorder with me everywhere I go is really tempting. You agree not to misuse the Service or Device, including but not limited to: (a) reselling or rebilling our Service; (b) using the Service or Device to engage in unlawful activity, or in conduct that adversely affects our customers, employees, business, or any other person(s), or that interferes with our operations, network, reputation, or ability to provide quality service, including but not limited to the generation or dissemination of viruses, malware or "denial of service" attacks; (c) using the Service as a substitute or backup for private lines or dedicated data connections; (d) tampering with or modifying your T-Mobile Device; (e) "spamming" or engaging in other abusive or unsolicited communications, or any other mass, automated voice or data communication for commercial or marketing purposes; (f) reselling T-Mobile Devices for profit, or tampering with, reprogramming or altering T-Mobile Devices for the purpose of reselling the T-Mobile Device; (g) using the Service in connection with server devices or host computer applications, including continuous Web camera posts or broadcasts, automatic data feeds, automated machine-to-machine connections or peer-to-peer (P2P) file-sharing applications that are broadcast to multiple servers or recipients, "bots" or similar routines that could disrupt net user groups or email use by others or other applications that denigrate network capacity or functionality; (h) accessing, or attempting to access without authority, the information, accounts or devices of others, or to penetrate, or attempt to penetrate, T-Mobile's or another entity's network or systems; (i) running software or other devices that maintain continuously active Internet connections when a computer's connection would otherwise be idle, or "keep alive" functions (e.g.So while HD Voice should sound great, it won't be AS great as FaceTime Audio (which I agree, sounds awesome, and I prefer to use it whenever I can).Speed wise they were amazing, but for voice it wasn't as good and had a few dropped calls in the few months I had them before I canceled so I could unlock the iPhone I got to use with AT&T.Get a cheap dumb phone for your emegrency calls, and get an ipad ..voice of reasonAnyway, we just text and voice with the iPhones since we got tired of the very small screens and keyboards of our old "dumb" phones.I would never touch a iP4 because the microphone is TERRIBLE and that is the real reason SIRI was never allowed - voice recognition was impossible with such a cheap mic - so if you actually need to be understood when talking to someone you need at least a iP4s, which had a mic system leaps and bounds better and was the first iphone that didn't make you sound like you were being choked underwater to the other party.

speed
The leap from the 5S to the 6 didnt feel like too much of a change really at all besides few obvious welcome changes, but I have switched since to the 6 Plus from the 6, and I have to say the Plus is absolutely incredible and feels like a major big upgrade to iPhone(the screen and battery on the Plus is simply just absolutely fantastic and dramatically better then what Apple has ever offered in the past) and that going to the 6 Plus from the 6 alone feels like a awesome nice upgrade and from the 5s to the 6 Plus is defitnetly absolutely a big difference and feel and change and feels like a very awesome upgrade Keep it, by February 2015 all apps and app updates submitted have to have 64 bit support, which means 35-40% speed boost increase in apps that dont use 64 bit code (plenty to name that dont use 64 bit code yet ; Netflix, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube , Google Maps, bunch others) so roughly around 30% speed boost increase for 5S and 35-40% faster applications for 6/6 Plus for Touch ID my advice and tip to you is register your same finger twice in Touch ID, it makes it tons more accurate and much more consistent and essentially works "perfect" for me after doing this trick, try it Lastly download a good camera app like Camera+, it really does make a difference..Good savings, great call quality, great LTE speed...After being told there was no noticeable difference in speed I expected it to be a perfect fit.Upgraded from a 16gb 5S to a 64gb 6 and I am very happy with the upgrade the screen is bigger and sharper add in the Processor speed increase and NFC it's worth the upgrade.Nice, maybe one day us down at Phoenix, AZ will get that kind of speed. This caught my eye from one of them -- "The image stabilization provides a nice improvement in sharpness in low light, but Apple used it in a very smart way to also reduce the noise in the photo (slower shutter speed and capping the max ISO lower). My wife's: Nice Name: iPhone 6 Family name: Group1: iPhone Group2: 6 Generation: CPU speed: 1.4GHz Screen size: 4.7 inch Screen resolution: 1334x750 pixels Colour: Gold Production year: 2014 Production week: 36 (September) Model introduced: 2014 Capacity: 16GB Memory - bluetooth
I tried a 2nd iPhone 4S and again the audio was very perfect, smooth, and awesome on Bluetooth phone calls.Great range and awesome sound for stereo Bluetooth.- dead pixel - backlight bleed - uniformity (one side darker, yellower) - smudge / smear inside glass - dust inside screen - dust or dirt inside glass (outside of screen area) - recessed / uneven volume button (on one but not another) - sticky vibration button (normal ones have a nice firm click) - uneven pressure / sticky / unbalance on sleep wake button (normal ones have a nice click to it) - uneven home button pressure (perfect ones have a nice click to it, but this is personal preference) - uneven gap when assembled (run your finger on the edge on each side and compare for your 6/6+) - dust inside camera lens - general cosmetic scratches / chips / dings (Apple logo, aluminum, buttons, sim slot) And this list hasn't even covered technical issues like wifi, Bluetooth, Touch ID, vibration rattle, etc.2 Mac Minis MacBook Pro 13 2011 2 Apple TV Airport Basestation Extreme Airport express iPad 2 iPad mini iPad Air 2 iPhone 5 (one for me, one for wife) Bluetooth keyboards Magic Trackpads Magic Mouse USB keyboard Numerous chargers, cables, Cool starry bras.(The usb input DAC in the Prius turns out to be abysmally bad though - far worse than Apple's) Still in a world of bluetooth and compressed streaming audio, most are unlikely to notice or care.Used sndeep service to check it and this is what I got: Model: IPHONE 6 SPACE GRAY 64GB TMOBILE-USA IMEI: 3520XXXXXXXXXX MEID: Serial Number: F1XXXXXXXXXXXXX ICCID: Bluetooth MAC Address: XXXXXXXXXXXXX WiFi MAC Address: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Activated: false Next Tether Activation Policy: Multi-Mode Unlock Original Carrier: Multi-Mode Unlock Network Unlocked: false So, it looks like as soon as the phone can dial into Apple, the unlock will happen if I understand this report correctly.Nothing really I have my wifi and Bluetooth on, but I turned off most the the location services I don't need and left only the ones I need like camera, find my iphone etc, with everything thing on I should get close to 7-9 hours, but to be honest I mostly used it so far for normal usage, no map usage today such as Waze, it drains battery power like mad, I'll post update lasted tomorrow after using Waze to show the difference in battery power. My phone is a 3G not the 3gS Ability to transfer data via bluetooth (admittedly, i don't use bluetooth that often but it would be nice to have the ability to do so) 5 items on the dock instead of 4 (i had my phone jailbroken for awhile -not anymore- and really loved that option) Ability to open .ICS events natively especially when I'm traveling and my phone is the only option for email checking (i do not have an exchange account or mobileme) Flash (yeah, i know, extremely unrealistic given Jobs' comments about Flash not terribly long ago) An earlier post mentioned a drop-down on the home screen for wi-fi options, i.e, the same function available on the Mac desktop.
times
This, this website is superb and it helped me find a 6 Plus 64 Gb in stock right at my local Apple store, I got the 4.7 inch 6 on Launch date, and I had it for about a month, I loved it but the Plus was looking so luring and amazing once I got to play with it a few times, I was so sure at first I didnt ever want the Plus, but then I started envying it, and then My brother ended up buying this Plus at Apple and we traded my 4.7 inch i6 with Applecare + on it for a 64 gb 6 plus for me, and I honestly couldnt be anymore satisfied and happy with this, I am beyond happy I got the plus, I love this thing and Im already use to the size, the thinness of the device is truly what makes this phablet actually very tolerable imo and its very slim in the pocket, The bigger screen alongside with the stupendously good battery life alone is beyond worth it and also OIS, All other phones just feel tiny now to me hah, TLDR: switched from a 6 (never thought id get a phablet) to a Plus and i am beyond in love with this thing and i am beyond satisifed and happy i went from the 6 to the 6 PlusTo me, the 6+ has taken time to get used to and still at times can be a tad unwieldy but it's a compromise I happily make every day to get that awesome battery life and larger HD display. The screen size was actually perfect on the 6 i must say for those that are still looking only for a phone and have a dedicated tablet for use at all times. There is a considerable difference in size between it and the 6 +, and I find the mini preferable when viewing videos and at other times when a larger screen is desirable. My stated agenda (that I mentioned many times now) was not in any way bad or malicious but it is of course more useful for you to state it as 'an agenda' like it is some master plan to discredit everything that matters to you in your life. There was a funny light we all detected that passed over the pallet a few times, and it feels like we may have moved outside for a while before moving back into the dark.I agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GBThe screen is amazing, photos are gorgeous, it's massive.. Can be hard to handle at times, but I know I'll get used to it!They are very friendly and accommodating for this kind of thing, and I have done it before many times in-store without any issues. It must fit in my jeans as I carry my phone, basically, at all times *** Battery life is still better than on my iPhone 5, but somehow, I simply fear it won't really be an improvement Basically, I feel like the 6+ might be a bit too tall and a bit too wide to fit comfortably in my jeans. Then there's the topper: "I've exchanged my iPhone 30 times because each one either had a dead pixel, was a gram lighter, had a screen too yellow/blue, the outer box had a dent in a corner, the shrink wrap has an imperfection, the moving lens elements rattle when I smack it against a hard surface, or the home button felt funny, and now Apple doesn't want to exchange it anymore. All of us who got up before 3 am in the eastern time zone, sat around refreshing the web site for over 2 hours, and couldn't go to a carrier site or the app because we are T-Mobile customers, and then finally gave up and went to bed, and then later woke up and found the shipping times were late October, deserve some kind of acknowledgement.6 plus to big esp if you gym it which i do 3 times a week then run 3 days a week on off days as one member said, number two can barely fit in my pocket and just big overall 4.7 seems perfect.i thought the htc one m8 i had was big but jesus christI think it must have taken me around 2 minutes to go through the whole process Delivering 9/19 I have been refreshing the Apple Store site for at least two hours (you never know - maybe the website could come up before the official start) and in the last hour I have been refreshing every 30 seconds... At least it was worth the wait..Two minutes after I ordered I saw that the delivery times started going north...I just think there's something amazing about seeing the world evolve from a place where phones were huge plastic boxes that were attached to the wall with a wire and computers were the whole floor of a city block and only NASA and the IRS had them to today where we're debating whether a SIX OUNCE computer that's about 70mm thick, no bigger than a checkbook, can process MILLIONS of times more data than those old machines, is a still and video camera, a photo editor, a phone, a text messager, a Web browser, a motion sensor, a game system, includes a built in monitor, a rechargable battery that will power it all day and a high definition screen... is too big to fit in our pockets when we bend over to tie our shoes. The large phone screen is great to have with you at all times for convenience, however the larger tablet screen is great for reading, watching videos, etc.I read this comment 1000 times on this forum about "I think 3.5" is the perfect size for a phone" then in 2012 "I think 4.0" is the perfect size for a phone" Now in 2014 "I think 4.7" is the perfect size for a phone."I'm not sure if my opinion could be met with understanding but after seeing few things with my own eyes I prefer to be bit more grateful with what i have and less lusting over the new stuff because if we are honest, most of the times its the "WANT" inside us that buy things rather than the "NEED" part. It's a really great way to enjoy a wonderful experience without dealing with short run times.Sad sad times that it isn't.Loved it until weird things started happening... First, I have been restarting my phone more then 10 times in a week trying to get some weird issues fixed.Phone #1 - invalid sim messages 3 times within 24 hours Phone #2 - invalid sim messages every hour!It was torwards the "Samsung conspiracy theories" comment , which actually isnt far off at all from a theory or conspiracy, because Samsung has been known to do it tons of times and has got caught a few times doing it And of course he gets described as that, it isnt easy at all to tell he is biased torwards Android and is anti Apple lol judging by all his post history, biased statements and comments dont really have a place in this subjective topicI highly doubt it is from a lack of RAM, I think I know what your talking about, because this one website I visit alot called gamespot.com crashes on my Plus 9/10 times and I have no idea why, it actually crashes my springboard, this forums I visit on Gamespot, and it only happens on this website which I have no idea why....it is so weird because when I had the 4.7 inch i6 before I switched to the Plus, this website never ever crashed on my 6....so weird...Um, PhoneArena battery testing is awful and they dont even disclose how they run their tests, they are not reliable at all, Anandtech has the best real world life usage testing PhoneArena doesnt even disclose how they do their testign, they dont go at all into details, their testing is not reliable and doesnt match more then half the times with multiple other battery tests done by other websites and also reviews Anandtech is one of the most reliable, reputable non biased websites on the web, their results and testing and analysis is really almost unmatched in the industry Anand does not write any articles or post anymore on Anandtech, he has put others complelty in charge and now works basically full time at Apple, you dont just throw out years of extremely reputable fame and non bias and renown that Anandtech has built over the years with the industry, terrible damage control, its widely known now that PhoneArenas testing is flawed and that they dont even disclose their testing Lol yeah, im sure the iPhone 6 plus only gets one hour more of battery life then the 6, what a joke, nobody takes PhoneArenas testing seriously anyway, their testing is flawed they dont even disclose how they do their test I went from a 6 to a Plus and I get way more then one extra hour of battery life with my Plus What do you expect, it powers a Quad HD screen , the GPU has to push more pixels, the display is bigger and has a bigger drain on the battery, the 28nm Snapdragon 805 is not as power efficient as the 20nm Apple A8, this was pretty obvious just by looking at the specs on paperI get so annoyed with peoples' spelling being so bad that It's difficult to even understand what they are trying to say on forums at times but in this instance of course I stand corrected by you.I read many times over people saying, "Apple's iOS6 is drab, boring and has been the same for so long".the issue is that the phone seems to work fine for the first few times, the first 10 minutes or so, and then progressively gets worse and worse. As long as people keep getting into forums and saying so many bad things about them like they get all bent out of shape too easily, look jaundiced, or crack up at inappropriate times. After hearing of people having issues with the 5s I was apprehensive about it working well on the 6, but no... it's been absolutely perfect, except for times when my finger is damp with sweat or water. If you want your phone for the 2 times a month someone calls you, buy a cheap dumb phone (you can get them for free with upgrade) and buy an ipad for your data needs.Ok thanks and something also weird happened hey Siri work without being plugged in 2 times before it stopped weirdI got frustrated and angry so many times that I have already lost my steam. It's not the perfect solution but it's worked and saved me plenty of times when I knew with less protection it would have been worse. It's been sent in for repair/exhange a total of 5 times, between my ownership of it and my significant other owning it after me, for everything from batteries to a bad home button, to a bad sleep/wake button, to my cracking the screen once.Turn off all my home theatre , dims the lights on a ten minute timer to give me time to brush teeth etc I'm sure there's more but hey Siri looks an interesting feature for my uses just not overly keen on having to plug my iPhone in to use it cause means I'll need to buy a dock and I don't fancy shouting hey Siri I'm going toilet how many ducking times are you listening or what (from a other room) hahaI've never owned a recent iPhone (the iPhone 4 was the last version that I owned) but in my experience all iPhones have been very laggy in opening apps, and especially bad at answering phone calls (many times the call ends before I can make the dumb "slide to answer" thingy actually work.It was a nice phone but it didn't take great pictures and it had started to get laggy and glitchy at times.Honestly, there are times I wish my iPhone 5 was larger(when I'm awake, walking around) and there are times when I find it too big(when I'm lying in bed, on my side, trying to hold it with one hand at a weird angle) Over all I don't miss the Nexus Galaxy I had(screen size wise) I don't have any problem with Apple allowing more choices in their line up.I have been a T-Mobile iPhone user for about a three years now..at first i had to deal with the terrible speed of EDGE since the iPhone is not built to run on T-Mobile's network..about two months ago i was finally able to get 3G on my iPhone 5 thanks to T-Mobile's attempt to upgrade their network to be able to drag more iPhone users to join their network...I'll admit at first i was really excited about this but after two weeks of 3G coming in and out, weak signal, dropping calls i finally said i've had enough, my iPhone would drop from 3G to EDGE at random times and even go NO SERVICE!!

internet
For those that are lucky enough to live in an area with good Sprint coverage and use it as their Internet, I can imagine it would be of great annoyance to constantly have your internet completely disconnect on you the moment you get a call. And these people aren't even the great unwashed masses - they are smart enough to be able to use the internet and figure out about unlimited data options.I have a 128gb iPhone 6+ ..no problems all the rumors(gates) floating around the internet are all BS ..my iphone hasn't bent ..my 128gb tlc hasnt died ..my screen is perfect ..I get better service than on the Note 3 bottom line is ..unless apple acknowledges the problem or someone posts substantive empirical evidence that has been repeated with the same results by another party ...then its a fake rumor you need not trouble yourself withThey can even post pictures after they sit on their phone and claim under the oath of the internet that it was always in their front pocket, in a case, and that they wear baggy microfiber pants because they are so terrified of bending their precious phone.I'm glad to see that you got your training in Internet Condescension, but I've actually noticed some weird stuff going on with this since iOS 8.It's nice to find an intelligent person on the internet, someone who doesn't think 'a-priori' is the french word for dead flower petals in a bag. Finally i enjoy streaming videos and movies on it, surfing internet is great, it is the first time i am happy with the battery life of an iphone, ever. It's like awesome, amazing, brilliant, genius.... Upworthy has hyperboled (yes, I'm using it as a verb) the internet.I had exhibited my photos even made with my iPhone 4, so creativity is more important then anything (I have a nice DSLR with pro lenses for sharp, micro... images if I need features such as IS)... Now, I hold my 6 confidently, easely (I even have lond fingers), descretely if I want, screen size is perfect, nice for photo viewing, navigation, browsing internet, traveling to other places and speaking/making photos without drawing too much attention... Will defenately chose the same size the next time. That was extremely handy at the time because I was using a 1995 Performa 6116 to log on to the internet & it was so brutally slow it took like three days for MaBell & similar sites to load, so I was glad to be able to pay all bills straight from PP's site. You agree not to misuse the Service or Device, including but not limited to: (a) reselling or rebilling our Service; do not give advice on this or any forum based on unfounded assumptions or wishful thinking, the internet is becoming overloaded with dubious information.Insulting people on Internet boards is bad mojo. They're website seems absurd to pick a decent plan from and if they're wireless customer service is anything like their internet service, I don't think I'll be happy with them.T-Mobile is moving to the right direction but it would be great if they can offer a basic $30 plan that gives us limited minutes and Internet.I get amazing 4g/lte speeds but it would be nice if tmobile would include unlimited 4g/lte on all lines included in the price or unlimited hotspot so that I can cancel my home internet service.I have an extremely shoddy internet connection right now (just moved and mine isn't setup yet), so when I remembered that iTunes had to connect to the internet for the restore, I was a bit worried.Abuse of the devices only happens with bad parents that are to lazy to interact and monitor the child, as with the Internet, TV and gaming consoles.
service
I think Spark is just their fancy marketing term for TD-LTE in Band 41 and 800MHz in Band 26, sort of like how "XLTE" is just a fancy marketing term for Verizon's AWS Band 4 LTE service.just be very nice and ask them to "please help you"....this is what u switched too..blah and that you are so happy with the service you would not want to leave for another carrier but have tested another network and will port the # over and save $'s by doing so.T-Mobile is awesome...been with them since they started the uncarrier plans and service ( both RF and CS ) is great in Texas and Colorado.I have a 128gb iPhone 6+ ..no problems all the rumors(gates) floating around the internet are all BS ..my iphone hasn't bent ..my 128gb tlc hasnt died ..my screen is perfect ..I get better service than on the Note 3 bottom line is ..unless apple acknowledges the problem or someone posts substantive empirical evidence that has been repeated with the same results by another party ...then its a fake rumor you need not trouble yourself withIn my opinion, I think both AT&T and Verizon are greedy but AT&T seems a little more greedier (they throttle unlimited plans, they have a significantly higher price for the note 4, and their single plans are more expensive even with the promo) With that being said, Verizon's customer service has been a nightmare, so to anyone that's happy with AT&T's customer service, I would not recommend them to switch.T-mobile is a great deal and if you have great service in your area, then nothing can beat it's value for price, unless you travel often and need coverage everywhere.great service and great LTE coverage.Unl data promotion is only if you are leaving Sprint, ATT or Verizon, but $25 gift is for all newbies to Simple Choice.. Tmo customer service can be confusing but the referral program is a great bonus for both old and new customers. That was the reason (as we all know In this factory by the sea) That the sidewalk so dark and hard Shattered and killed my iPhone 33 But his service was faster by far than the service Of phones who were older than he Of many far slower than he And neither the angels in factories above Nor the sidewalks down under the sea Can ever dissever my soul from the soul Of the beautiful iPhone 33 For my phone never rings without bringing me dreams Of the beautiful iPhone 33 And so all the night-tide I lie down by the side Of my darling-my darling I weep and I cry In the factory there by the sea On the sidewalk down by the seaI also purchased a basic phone as a second line.... Later in the day i got a phone call saying my card was declined..called and approved but at that point my order was pushed further in the que... waited and waited and nothing changed... until today and kept checking this forum to see where everyone was at....and after finally waiting for so long i gave up and was LUCKY enough to find a device at a Best Buy Mobile store via: idevicechecker.com I would definetely recommend it..got there wiht no line and got my new SILVER 128 gb plus...and I decided to stay with my carrier.. ATT customer service was worthless...they didn't know what they were talking about and was always getting the run around..ontop of that the LG basic phone I ordered was in stock but they never shipped it to me and its always says backordered.....Glad to be of service - it's keeping me sane as well!I've purchased iPhones for as long as they've been out there, sung the praises of Apple to the mountaintops, and slowly filled my home with Macbook, iMac, multiple iPads and iPods, not to mention spent $1000s in music in iTunes...and there's the rub, it's because I've been such a loyal customer, accustomed to wonderful and rapid service, that this botched rollout has raised my ire, this is not what I'm accustomed to with Apple, and galling is a great description of my feelings at present.Apple has great customer service and people seem to be incapable of understanding that you will get better service being nice and honest.Amazing service, great speed, great CS [ in general ] and pricing is very reasonable all things considered.I love their pricing / service / options, but man they're terrible for this kind of thing...Ahh, so happy Apple has such great customer service.I've never heard of a company being so unconcerned and impervious to customer service. Not bad for "horrible" service.Faster delivery, amazing customer service, trustworthyI am excited for the iPhone for life plan they launched and ordered my 6+ Space Grey 16GB online...I am going to try out the store on Friday to see if I can get one that way faster though I used to live in a more remote area and Verizon was great there with the i5 and LTE but now that I am moving to a much bigger city Sprint service really won't be a problem at all and I'm excited for UNLIMITED data planI was moving my lines from AT&T after moving to a place where AT&T does not serve the area so I am dying here without any phone service!I was moving my lines from AT&T after moving to a place where AT&T does not serve the area so I am dying here without any phone service! One thing you always can trust Apple for is an amazing quality of product, and also an amazing quality of service if something is wrong with that product.Having a FAST LTE on a plan that is not unlimited can be problematic so it would be nice to have Sprint as an option (of course assuming you are in a Sprint LTE service area). We all know for nationwide coverage Verizon and AT&T are the only carriers one should look for and the key word there is "Nationwide" but, where I'm T-Mobile is the best (coverage wise and cost wise) and since I'm 57 years old and use to travel with car Radio and 8-tracks I really don't mind Edge or no service while I'm driving since again the key word there is "Driving" and not playing with my phone .Even though I'm quite happy with T-Mobile because it offers great service for my use pattern and priorities, I'm not going to recommend it to anyone who wants/needs the broadest network coverage possible, and is willing to pay more to get it.Service us great and the plans are wonderful.Overall, it's a great service and I'm happy to use FreedomPop.we believe that we can provide you quite satisfactory service & deliver amazing merchandise at low cost.Service was great (then again, I've had good service with AT&T as well, lucky I guess). They had great service and I was super happy. You got lucky Great customer service to still take care of you even after the warranty coverage expired. Also T-Mobile have great customer service, perhaps because they have something to prove, regardless I always liked that, people around here associate T-Mobile with people who are less well off financially (its arrogant but thats the type in my area) but from all accounts T-Mobile customers are pretty happy as of lately and it seams everytime I blink they get better and better. If you all have great service with TMO it might be worth it to stick with them for that reason. My coworker let me borrow one of his lines and test AT&T because I told him my test with my Verizon iPhone last month was an epic fail Turns out this test was flawless at my home using his account So yesterday Verizon lost my 3 line account to AT&T- I had to get my iPhone 5s reprovisioned again which was the issue the last time and why service was so slow on AT&TFor me and many others T-mobile offers great service and great value. They have great customer service and always have great reception in the Phoenix area.End result is, I'm not the least bit impressed with new LTE service download speeds are just as bad if not worst that with old sim and it cost me about $300 in upgrades to find this out.You agree not to misuse the Service or Device, including but not limited to: (a) reselling or rebilling our Service; Too much switching of LTE to 4G in the same spot killing my battery, loss of signal even though i have 3-4 bars, and not having any of these issues on AT&T prepaid, I made the switch back as of today. You won't find anywhere that I said Sprint was great and that 3G service was wonderful. And if you aren't happy with any of their repairs or service just let them know there customer service is great at making things right.I also ported my number successfully, their customer service is great and you always get some sexy British representative in seconds as its a British company.2nd: the ideal scenario will involve some kind of software/ app/ call through, callback/ ring-through service that will allow me to dial out to a business contact using my business caller ID, from the personal number. With their recent adaption to a smart phone plan I've been quite pleased with data speeds and service coverage.Yep, agreed, but like you mentioned, to me Price is a consideration, however for me, if I had to pay a little more for better service, then it is worth it, if I were paying a little less for mediocre service not so bad, but to pay T-Mob $150.00 per month for 3 lines which is slightly lower then my bill now, and to have 1/2 the service, I can not do it.I'll take my college degree, great job, and my great cell phone service and you can call me low end all day long, but at the end of the day (and my contract) I will have paid less for the same device you have.I want to keep this phone bad but constantly having no service and edge (just as useless, cant even make calls) in my own room is kind of a dealbreaker.Very happy with AT&T customer service (always had great experiences with them)!Yeah I thought about that but I've been with Virgin for 5-6 years now and always had great customer service and I really like their plan (they have great ones for students).Their service seems to get notoriously worse and worse.People rag on Apple, some issues to be sure but great customer service is worth a lot.I just get tired of people complaining about reception and service, but they stick with the carrier because they are afraid of change, or too lazy to do the research. You seem like the questionable one here, siding with a company known for horrible customer service and wanting to get users off grand fathered unlimited plans at all costs.I did not realize that Sprint had such a terrible customer service... it's really puzzling since they are not even in a dominant position compared to say Verizon or AT&T, so one would think that they would be trying to provide better service, rather than the worst. So yes, they'll get angry when retailers shutting down their terminals just because they want to shove their inferior service down our throats.I am sure A LOT of people are tired of the unfair prices of a bad valued service. One time I took my SIM card out in a bad signal area and put it bag in and I had no service for about an hour even when I got back onto the Interstate from a friends house....something weird with Verizon and LTE iPhone's....I found Verizon to be one of the worst services I've used (more so than T-Mo), from dropped calls and some of the worst customer service I've experienced. With the FCC unlocking policy changing effective Feb 2015 (although not retroactive) and the overturning of the insane law that made unlocking phones from outside the provider illegal I would go ahead and get it fully unlocked from one of those websites....Sprint are insane with their strict UICC SIM card being locked to the phone and only allow one unlock per account per year....I mean God knows they need it since their company sucks, I hope this changes because even though I didn't like Sprint's past and current service and deployment plan the new CEO is really changing things up to a more sensible solution. The Ngage was a horrible phone on a horrible service (T-mobile).Personally, I think overall the service is better in my normal stomping ground, and 'good enough' everywhere else until next year when things are all rolled out -- and I'm tired of paying evil companies like AT&T, Verizon, and Comcast, and whenever I have a choice, I will avoid buying services from them.199 for a Verzion iPhone 6 + 52 tax +32 activation fee -199 for iPhone 4 trade in (CL value is ~70 tops) + prorated service (~55 for one month) = 83+ dollars 10-20 buck verzion CL phone + 50 lumina refurb + 10 sim fee + 120 2 months service T-mobile [worst case scenario] - 20 sell lumia phone =60+ dollars (180 worst case) 180 + 84 = 264 252 is about price I would pay on AT&T for an iPhone 4 + tax.worst case, if the service gets that bad, ill go back to att on a family share plan.Frustrated and angry at this incredibly poor customer service from UPS....will never do business with them again.- pathetic , incompetent service oh yeah and it's still in Korea! It's the worst service at the worst price. The Customer service rep was rude and acted like i was dumb and seriously used "lol" in the chat.... And every time I have a question they NEVER answer my question they use a damn script.VZW: Pro's: VoLTE Better LTE coverage Con's: Horrible International Rates/Plans VoLTE speeds seem to be slower than 3G for many (still early though) Terrible Customer Service Tons of "extra's" popping up AT&T: Pro's: GSM Voice+Data - 4G, not LTE, but seems faster than VZW's VoLTE Best International Plans Con's: Abysmal LTE coverage I've found both carriers to be fairly equal with dropped calls, my concerns are international rates, VoLTE on VZW, AT&T's LTE commitment.Ranting on twitter about the HORRIBLE UNACCEPTABLE customer service I have received with no resolution to my issue in sight, an AT&T rep responded and asked for my account details.Used sndeep service to check it and this is what I got: Model: IPHONE 6 SPACE GRAY 64GB TMOBILE-USA IMEI: 3520XXXXXXXXXX MEID: Serial Number: F1XXXXXXXXXXXXX ICCID: Bluetooth MAC Address: XXXXXXXXXXXXX WiFi MAC Address: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Activated: false Next Tether Activation Policy: Multi-Mode Unlock Original Carrier: Multi-Mode Unlock Network Unlocked: false So, it looks like as soon as the phone can dial into Apple, the unlock will happen if I understand this report correctly.Buy cheap phone from t-mobile ($50) and trade in a cheap Android phone I have laying around the house I don't use, stay on for 2-3 months for ETF rebate to process, then cancel service .They have great coverage but boy is there customer service freakin horrible. They have bad customer service, expensive tariffs and are just a bit awful. They're website seems absurd to pick a decent plan from and if they're wireless customer service is anything like their internet service, I don't think I'll be happy with them.I live in a rural area and their service has gotten worse and worse.No...because they have a terrible network and everyone I know that has Sprint has bad service.I'm annoyed, so I call the customer service number from the website, and I tell the person that I wasn't happy with the service I received in the apple store, they ask for which store, and when I tell them, they're like "okay, I'll connect you to the store manager" and before I can say anything, they transfer.I see a lot of posts saying service was as bad or worse than expected.iPhone5s Defective Battery - Genius Bar Rejection Twice, horrible AppleCare Service *Reported all these issues, Apple is now "investigating it" Whatever means, just s slap on the wrist for them*After having consistently terrible service at our new home last year (to the point of getting a MicroCell) I placed a call to AT&T to try and figure out why my service was so bad.I saw really no difference in the 2 services tho I was worried when I would travel or go places because when you visit Tmobile they mention all the places it doesn't work that I never experienced when I was with verizon(awful awful customer service) or AT&T(ask to speak to a manager and you will get 2-4 free months of service). It even faired excellent during the infamous Ice Storm this Christmas, when most of my friends on other networks got bad service with connection drops, interferences, etc, or no service at all.My attempt was to share what I heard from a friend who Is unhappy with their service in NYC not to discount others with perfect Verizon service in NYC I'm done with this thread OP my suggestion is do a trial and see if it works for you.of the folks going to the Genius Bar have a genuine concern and issue, there are a good number who are trying to cheat the system, make unreasonable demands, feel entitled, or are unreasonably obsessive over the slightest thing Personally, I have a lot of sympathy for anyone in customer service who has to deal with people who are rude, arrogant, entitled, idiots, sneaky and more Customer service of any kind is typically a thankless job with little reward I'm not saying all Geniuses are angels themselves, but I tend to believe much of the vitriol directed at them is unjustifiedMost stores here in Canada have bad customer service these days or horrible pre sale assistance.I had been on AT&T since 2010 and just moved to T-Mobile, as mentioned above, love the unlimited data not to mention the talk and text, my plan on AT&T used to be 450m/1000text/2gb data for a monthly charge of $75+tax and now I have unlimited data/talk/text for $30+tax (add on in a family plan) , its awesome , however the service in my home sometimes drops , when I called Customer Service I was told New Tower installation is imminent. Here's the strange thing about my service.....I can have terrible service one day and then decent service the very next day, same exact location (standing in my front yard). It can be very frustrating, and usually the companies doing this have very lousy customer service if you ever do have a problem.I get amazing 4g/lte speeds but it would be nice if tmobile would include unlimited 4g/lte on all lines included in the price or unlimited hotspot so that I can cancel my home internet service. After 2.5GB, they will throttle you to less than 1 Mbps which is awful and visual voicemail may or may not work and their customer service are worst.I actually had my iPhone 5 replaced today which had the same issue but it was replaced because it was getting noticeably worse service and there was a lot of dust in the camera lens which was throwing off pictures and also the phone was dropping service but anyway, my battery drain is gone, plus especially on "4G" not LTE, its not draining even close to as bad as before even with only 1-3 dots of servicePeople run over to Sprint trying to save a few bucks a year and end up sorely disappointed and/or frustrated with the poor service.Swift unlock is very rude and disrespectful,He called my cousin a wetback and nikka because he was told his service is too slow.very racist people..stay away from swift unlock/unlock fusion.I have been a T-Mobile iPhone user for about a three years now..at first i had to deal with the terrible speed of EDGE since the iPhone is not built to run on T-Mobile's network..about two months ago i was finally able to get 3G on my iPhone 5 thanks to T-Mobile's attempt to upgrade their network to be able to drag more iPhone users to join their network...I'll admit at first i was really excited about this but after two weeks of 3G coming in and out, weak signal, dropping calls i finally said i've had enough, my iPhone would drop from 3G to EDGE at random times and even go NO SERVICE!!You need to delete this post ... Unlock fusion IS LEGIT and provides great service ... And I don't know him but I'm happy cuz my AT&T contract will be cancelled tomorrow... Hello tmobileChristopher: We called about that before and the lady and her supervisor were so rude and unwilling to look into it, I was very close to closing the account all together, but my son actually convinced me not to because he loves your service Alfonso : I understood that and we appreciate you for staying with us.Rogers really is terrible and their customer service is just as bad.

The leap from the 5S to the 6 didnt feel like too much of a change really at all besides few obvious welcome changes, but I have switched since to the 6 Plus from the 6, and I have to say the Plus is absolutely incredible and feels like a major big upgrade to iPhone(the screen and battery on the Plus is simply just absolutely fantastic and dramatically better then what Apple has ever offered in the past) and that going to the 6 Plus from the 6 alone feels like a awesome nice upgrade and from the 5s to the 6 Plus is defitnetly absolutely a big difference and feel and change and feels like a very awesome upgrade Keep it, by February 2015 all apps and app updates submitted have to have 64 bit support, which means 35-40% speed boost increase in apps that dont use 64 bit code (plenty to name that dont use 64 bit code yet ; Netflix, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube , Google Maps, bunch others) so roughly around 30% speed boost increase for 5S and 35-40% faster applications for 6/6 Plus for Touch ID my advice and tip to you is register your same finger twice in Touch ID, it makes it tons more accurate and much more consistent and essentially works "perfect" for me after doing this trick, try it Lastly download a good camera app like Camera+, it really does make a difference..iOS 8 > Android 4.4 + 4.5 iOS Maps today > Google Maps on Android 1GB of ram hasn't been as detrimental as I thought iPhone at 4.7" is pretty damned good size wise and it's fast. The 2 of 500+ iOS apps I haven't been able to find Android equivalents of is: - Awesome Note - a brilliant iOS app that makes Evernote or Google Drive look great - Period Planner - a fertility planner iOS app. What I really find amazing is, aside from AT&T blowing us off and telling us we're liars when we bring this to their attention, you can actually google articles that websites are writing about AT&T and how they started shipping the 6 Plus early with delivery dates set for today: So I guess those people were lying too in addition to everyone here lucky enough to be able to post screenshots the last few days with positive reports.Google gets it just as bad if not worse when they release products.LTE in Chicago, IL near Downtown on this plan :-) I have done half a dozen speed tests, over 500 emails this month, messaging, google maps GPS navigation on probably 200-300miles worth, few hours of pandora streaming and I've used 1.2GB of data this month....still got 8 more days and 800MB remaining, this plan is great!Great integration of Google Now, really one amazing piece of software which I initially dismissed because of how useless Siri was.Its funny (and sad) how Google has no mapping info on NK, its just an empty, white space.2) SIM Swap Trick - Google it and watch Youtube Video's - Very easy to do as long as you be patient 3) Use a tool I think such as iPhone configuration utility...(I cannot provide feedback/support for MMS setup as I don't use it since I have no need for it thanks to all the great apps like iMessage & Whatsapp) If/When more/better plans become available I will be sure to add them to the list, If you know of a great carrier/plan(s) that are better than what I listed then be sure to let me know As for feedback, those of you concerned Check my eBay accounts: and See my Threads on the forum:It seems Google have gone for the half-arsed 'force text to fit the screen' option rather than the more elegant 'load the page in a readable format from the word go' that Apple takes.I am also fairly skeptical of Google and their horrible privacy policies.A few months after having my phone i dropped it and where the sim card would go popped open which was weird and noticed it had a sim card which i am pretty sure it never had another weird thing it was a at&t sim card and my google number was assigned to it which i know i never did.I have to be honest, I am not very knowledgeable on this kind of thing, and so far my google searches have produced zilch, BUT I was wondering if anyone might have some information on the ST iPhone 4.So essentially nothing as drastic as all Google apps being bad like that and even worse than other apps that would provide similar services if one chooses to use them and allows for the relevant permissions.I might not have been so eager to switch had Google not gotten rid of their EAS option, but since they did I didn't have much heartburn about moving my services to iCloud, especially after I bought a MacBook.

Coverage is exactly the same as AT&T (perfect in my area) and LTE speeds are great.Great signal in a lot of places and really great 4G speeds.Great coverage and impressive LTE speeds.Your phone will work just fine....HSPA+ is a great network with great speedsBut it can't be a router issue because my sister's iPhone 4S gets great wifi speeds, and my mom's Note 3 gets really really great wifi speeds.Simplified: AT&T MVNO's: - AT&T GoPhone [I currently on $60 plan and its great] - AIO Wireless [Owned by AT&T] - Straight Talk [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Net10 [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - H2O Wireless - Go Red Pocket Mobile T-Mobile MVNO's: - GoSmart Mobile [Owned by T-Mobile] - Straight Talk [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Net10 [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Simple Mobile [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Ultra Mobile - Spot Mobile - Solavei - Platinum Tel - Metro PCS - iWireless - Walmart Family Mobile - 35orLess Sprint MVNO's: - Virgin Mobile - Straight Talk [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Net10 [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] Verizon MVNO's: - PagePlus - Straight Talk [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Net10 [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] If T-Mobile gave you the boot, go with AT&T MVNO's and I recommend: - #1 Straight Talk [Fast 4G + LTE Speeds slightly higher ping rates] - #2 GoPhone [Fastest 4G + LTE Speeds and Lowest Ping] - #3 AIO Wireless [Slightly cheaper than GoPhone with Fast 4G + LTE Speeds with slightly higher ping rates] Net10 and Straight Talk = Exact same except net10 = $5 more unless you do "Auto payment" T-Mobile MVNO's list has grown over the past couple of years maybe because its cheaper for companies to use its network vs AT&T but do note that you get LTE and much better coverage going with AT&T MVNO vs T-Mobile.Your speeds are horrible, but with a LTE capable device speeds are respectable.AT&T is going to dominate at the end of the day, I like many have also recently switched to AT&T GoPhone $60 plan, which works great and LTE speeds are amazing! With their recent adaption to a smart phone plan I've been quite pleased with data speeds and service coverage. It's hilarious how Sprint and TMo users are constantly banging on about their great HSPA/EVDO speeds and are in complete denial that LTE exists these days. But LTE will be able to bring that to respectable speeds and with unlimited, it will be great.Rogers has been great everywhere I've been in Ontario, fast speeds, great coverage everywhere I've been.20 nm 64 bit apple A8> 28nm Snapdragon 805 Cameras are both top notch and cream of the crop , no real , clear winner there Touch ID is king fingerprint scanner sensor and the Note 4 swipe with your thumb BS is not as good note 4 has the best OLED display ever while the 6 Plus has the best LCD smartphone display ever, both are top notch, 6 has a little less resolution but still good Funny thing is that 6 and 6 Plus uses actually newer technology and more cutting edge hardware, a SoC on a 20nm manufacturing node custom designed by Apple In house own ISP now too Both are great devices though but people who say it uses "2012 technology" and "lol wow only 1.4 ghz dual core my Galaxy S3 is faster with 1.5 ghz dual core" just have no understanding at all on all this Fanboys gonna be fanboys , but the 6 Plus and 6 are actually one of the best if not the best peforming smartphone right now on both the CPU/GPU side Totally wrong , 6 and 6 Plus completly utterly destroys anything from 2012, the SoC (which houses the CPU/GPU/ISP/RAM) basically everything, is quite different and not similiar to tech specs back then ARMv8 custom design is drastically different then what has been used in the past What people dont understand at all is that you want faster better single core performance and better IPC always, espcially on mobile devices, this is beyond crucial and key for mobile developing (for obvious reasons; these devices using batteries and thermal constraints etc etc) Same thing with why a Intel quad core is noticeably faster then a AMD quad core thats clocked alot higher speeds then the Intel quad core Its because Intels single core performance and architecture design is SUPERIOR, very little people understand what even makes a CPU design, single core performance and IPC is beyond important and crucial and key for mobile , why would someone want to deal with more weaker single cores and code for all them and try to get parrlellization and efficiency on all cores properly when it is a headache already developing software and games for a bunch of cores on desktop(and multicore processors started coming out 8 years ago) Throwing more cores at it does not increase performance for situations and problems automatically linearly 6 way wide superscaler 1.4 ghz Enhanced cyclone cores on ARM's latest architecture design (ARMv8 or 64 bit) OP I suggest you look up on the A7/A8 details , it is more comparable to Intel Haswell processors then it is to what Qualcomm offers actually in terms of performanceI've never even come close to hitting it but it's nice knowing there aren't any overage fees and that even if I'm throttled I'll still have perfectly usable 3G/LTE speeds (around 500kbps - 1mbps), unlike some other carriers that throttle down to a paltry 128kbpsEven the best of those speeds isn't really outstanding and when it's slow, it's terrible.Sprint speeds in the Bay Area are just horrible where I've needed them and T-Mobile has great speeds but inconsistent for me.think twice about sprint, their the worst carrier in the states, very unfriendly towards consumers, harsh unlock policies, terrible 3G speeds (below 500kbps) you'll be better off with a MVNO using at&t infrastructure like a gsm version of straight talkmy speeds have been terrible on h2o wireless throughout the USA (just on a road trip) and especially bad here in san francisco.Frankly, matching VZW EVDO speeds is pretty damn pathetic after all these years, especially when VZW has went on record to say they will be 100% LTE by the end of 2013.Live streaming is almost impossible over iPhone 5 and wifi,, buffers all the time,, but works fine on LTE and 4g,, weird,,and i do have fast speeds on wifi ,, very strangeI find it ironic that the worst wifi speeds I get is from the ATT network at my local Starbuck.

It's amazing when done properly and you have a dedicated group of users in your area who modify/clarify the maps on a regular basis.Coverage is exactly the same as AT&T (perfect in my area) and LTE speeds are great. For those that are lucky enough to live in an area with good Sprint coverage and use it as their Internet, I can imagine it would be of great annoyance to constantly have your internet completely disconnect on you the moment you get a call. It's always worth asking around to see how a carrier performs in your area, and likewise it's well worth keeping an eye on other carriers' plans--even if you just use that info for leverage when talking to your own carrier's retentions department.T-mobile is a great deal and if you have great service in your area, then nothing can beat it's value for price, unless you travel often and need coverage everywhere.Depends on your area, if you're lucky enough to have Spark or LTE in general, it can be pretty amazing.- dead pixel - backlight bleed - uniformity (one side darker, yellower) - smudge / smear inside glass - dust inside screen - dust or dirt inside glass (outside of screen area) - recessed / uneven volume button (on one but not another) - sticky vibration button (normal ones have a nice firm click) - uneven pressure / sticky / unbalance on sleep wake button (normal ones have a nice click to it) - uneven home button pressure (perfect ones have a nice click to it, but this is personal preference) - uneven gap when assembled (run your finger on the edge on each side and compare for your 6/6+) - dust inside camera lens - general cosmetic scratches / chips / dings (Apple logo, aluminum, buttons, sim slot) And this list hasn't even covered technical issues like wifi, Bluetooth, Touch ID, vibration rattle, etc.Maybe I'm just lucky enough to be in a great signal area.Great choice as long as you don't mind a horrible coverage area. For what it's worth, I live in the Orlando area and I've been very happy with ATT.I am excited for the iPhone for life plan they launched and ordered my 6+ Space Grey 16GB online...I am going to try out the store on Friday to see if I can get one that way faster though I used to live in a more remote area and Verizon was great there with the i5 and LTE but now that I am moving to a much bigger city Sprint service really won't be a problem at all and I'm excited for UNLIMITED data planI know SPRINT is at the bottom but I think they have been putting a lot of work in to come back and I was all over the new deal for $50/month UNLIMITED data when SPRINT came out with that for the 6/6+ Also...Im moving from a small area to a much larger market and any provider will do just fine out there so Im excited to see how great SPRINT is with all their upgradesI was moving my lines from AT&T after moving to a place where AT&T does not serve the area so I am dying here without any phone service!I was moving my lines from AT&T after moving to a place where AT&T does not serve the area so I am dying here without any phone service!Having a FAST LTE on a plan that is not unlimited can be problematic so it would be nice to have Sprint as an option (of course assuming you are in a Sprint LTE service area). My battery life is related to phone/wifi signal - I can get really great battery life when I am in area with strong signal, when I am at work (mostly metal building), where the phone signal is really bad, I do not get through work day.I'd love to see like the post above some form of waterproofing so that I'm not afraid to use my iPhone in the rain also and I've sent this suggestion to apple, a small translucent ring around the home button that has a pulsating ring of light for missed calls, messages, email etc if not then a led somewhere for the same purpose, a smart wifi option so it switches off once you leave your home wifi and will come back on once your home or it can remember where other wifi locations are and switch back on once you get to that area.A little more info in the thread title would be nice Virgin Mobile is great though if you have Sprint LTE in your area. They have great customer service and always have great reception in the Phoenix area.3G sucks big time on Sprint but if you are in a LTE area like I am then it's really nice speed and unlimited data wise.Tmobile won't launch lte till 2013 and even then it will probably only be in a select few cities so its not a bad idea to buy the verizon version Nice I traded my att iPhone 5 for the Verizon one just because I will probably never have tmobiles lte in my area and the Verizon version supports a lot more bands and one day I might go to Verizon they have lte in my areaFor what it's worth, I did consider switching but didn't want to deal with the hassle as AT&T isn't bad in my area.If a battery is dropping 10% in 8 hours just sitting there asleep doing nothing, I'd say that's not satisfactory unless you're in an area with bad cell coverage and it's fighting to keep a signal or something. One time I took my SIM card out in a bad signal area and put it bag in and I had no service for about an hour even when I got back onto the Interstate from a friends house....something weird with Verizon and LTE iPhone's....What I found weird about this video the first time I watched it is that he says that his focus was on the center of the phone, but looks like it bends near the volume rockers on the side more.. but he wasn't pushing on the middle; his thumbs were right on the side by the volume rockers and were bending it there, it's not because it's a more vulnerable area, it's because that's where he was bending it.They really are a terrible company - I stay with them because I get good coverage in my area, and because as bad as AT&T is Verizon is WAY worse. The only thing that could cause that bad of battery life is if you're in an area with really bad coverage and it's doing a lot of searching\low-bar data...As many features as Apple had to show differentiating the 6 and 6+ while on stage, this is one area most users won't comprehend without a tutorial and that hopefully Apple isn't shying away from stating because of upsetting those that really give a damn about RAM capacity. It's an affluent area but people of all kinds in desperate situations do horrible things.Sprint speeds in the Bay Area are just horrible where I've needed them and T-Mobile has great speeds but inconsistent for me.I've been considering switching over to T-mobile when I upgrade my phone (going from a 4S to a 5S), but I can't decide if it'll be worth the MUCH worse coverage for my area.I live in a rural area and their service has gotten worse and worse. In my area they're all pretty terrible and they're all greedy as hell.Personally if you are just worried about communications when you go to a rural area I would just get a dumb phone to carry along on those trips.Sadly, here in the Boston area T-Mo is inferior to ATT and VZW I have friends on T-Mo here and they hate it, because coverage is so bad. This city is strange in that you have sketchy areas sort of dispersed in neighborhoods rather than one central area where it is bad.The area on the back where the makes contact with the case makes a strange oily-looking mark which is ugly as hell, the case fits the phone a bit too tightly for my tastes (making it difficult to remove), and the edges are a bit sticky (in that it would be difficult to remove from my pocket).I know my router isn't that great and in the one area of my house I spend the most time after work (by the TV) the signal isn't stellar.

Something about the 6 Plus that is just incredible..i just feel like i have the whole world at my finger tips...a big very beautiful into this world, and the way the space gray 6 /6plus in the front looks with the edges sloping off and like the blackness of the front display and just the way it seems to morph into the edges and kind of like consume the whole front of the device is amazing...plus ( no pun intended lmao) i love the battery life, it is absolutely incredibly good and lasts a very long time I like the 6 design better then the 5S/5 design overall.... One thing I do wish though is that i wished they made a darker model then Space Gray (like the dark slate color from the iPhon 5) , that would look even moreamazing imo.. Yeah the 6 plus may be big but it is obnoxiously big beautiful and turns heads and i have caught people just looking at my phone (and when I had a 6 i remember I had seen a few 6 Pluses in the wild in peoples hands and them using it , and me just going to my self "wow that screen does look really nice and beautiful actually") it actually is one of the reasons why i went from the 6 to the 6 Plus because of envy and also the other obvious (battery life, screen size and res, OIS )Some people buy the plus and think its the greatest thing since sliced bread and that anyone who doesn't want one just needs to experience it, or educate themselves on such a great product. The nice thing about apple being stupid with RAM is that the 5, 5c, 5s, 6 and 6+ should all turn to **** at around the same time performance wise.Funny thing is right now I'm watching that at&t commercial with that cute little Lily telling some guy that 'yeah, we have the new iPhone' - I guess she is kept out of the loop or maybe she is just confused because all evidence points to them not having the new iPhoneGlad it worked, had to do the sane thing on my iPhone when bought a new one!Currently I'm finding the 6 Plus too unwieldy to use easily, but I can probably deal with that in time - however one thing that's frustrating me is that all websites on the 6 Plus open as mobile pages by default (I.e.Im very satisfied and pleased and happy with my choice of going to the Plus from the 6, I love this thing. This, this website is superb and it helped me find a 6 Plus 64 Gb in stock right at my local Apple store, I got the 4.7 inch 6 on Launch date, and I had it for about a month, I loved it but the Plus was looking so luring and amazing once I got to play with it a few times, I was so sure at first I didnt ever want the Plus, but then I started envying it, and then My brother ended up buying this Plus at Apple and we traded my 4.7 inch i6 with Applecare + on it for a 64 gb 6 plus for me, and I honestly couldnt be anymore satisfied and happy with this, I am beyond happy I got the plus, I love this thing and Im already use to the size, the thinness of the device is truly what makes this phablet actually very tolerable imo and its very slim in the pocket, The bigger screen alongside with the stupendously good battery life alone is beyond worth it and also OIS, All other phones just feel tiny now to me hah, TLDR: switched from a 6 (never thought id get a phablet) to a Plus and i am beyond in love with this thing and i am beyond satisifed and happy i went from the 6 to the 6 Pluspeople prefer ram to battery life, that's something i'd never expect.. to be honest the only thing missing from a perfect phone for me is: 2gb ram, water-resistant, improved scratch resistance, less bezels and a more efficient battery life (=> the day that the "up to" advertised numbers become standard numbers (meaning 10h = 10h, not 10h = 4h.)Strange thing is, I'm not that unhappy with the phone I have (Note 3).I gave the coat kind of a tug and kind of must have lost my balance for a sec and the next thing I know I see this phone shaped object fly about three feet vertical from my left hand and sort of arc over my head and head straight for the cement driveway on my right. But think about only one thing: if Apple could add a micro sd slot or a proprietary type of card for the iPhone and lock them only for the music this would be a great business.... Be honest 16 gb are enough for anything but music, videos photos and apps are very well fitted in the 16 gb space...IF you get lucky, the blue shirt will go to his/her manager and speak about it... the manager will then come over to you and say, yes we can cancel the 2 year contract and you'll have to wait for your upgrade eligibility to kick back in, which generally takes 5-10 mins... if you cancelled twice, you're SOL as it locks the upgrade and you'll have to call AT&T and they'll have to call some other to have it restored which will take 3-5 business days... to avoid that, if you're on a family plan, I'd suggest you pre-order with another line thats not looking to upgrade right away... that way your upgrade is available right away and theres no waiting around... if you're the only line, I'd suggest you log into your AT&T mobile app and keep refreshing the upgrade eligibility page until you see it kick in... once they cancel the 2 year contract, theres an option for the NEXT or you can purchase the phone "device only" which means you pay for the phone completely, right there... again, I've experienced stores where they will flat out tell you they cant do such a thing, blah blah blah, cancelling will put the phone back into their online pre-order batch, which is BS... you just need to get lucky and have a blue shirt willing to do it for you...I'm not saying I believe every single thing I read here, I'm not naive, but nor am I unrealistic.Did that and the apps were updated, after a short while. The funny thing is that instead of showing 'Open' beside every updated app in the updates section of the App Store,it shows 'Update'.I've confirmed that the apps were updated (compared the latest version in the App Store and on my phone, they were the same). Not that it actually affects anything but i just find it weird. The one thing that has me amazed, I use to have to take a few pictures to get one in focus the way I want, the new 6+ with the stabilization almost always gives me great focus!Even directly insulting you isn't spam, though it wouldn't be a very nice thing to do.I used my iphone 6 for 12 days before i returned it and went for a 6plus now here are the differences:- iPhone 6 Pros One handed use light and pocketable Cons to be honest except for the design there wasnt any difference btw 5s and 6.. battery life was almost the same n so was the display iPhone 6 plus my experience:- as i have used LG g3 and Note 3 going for a phablet wasnt a big deal for me..but to be honest this thing is big and not that much easy to carry around in your pockets but two things made me just fall in love with this beauty 1st its bigger and FULL HD display [on iphone 6 i can easily see jaggered lines on the text n Fonts but here on iphone 6 plus everything is smooth n crystal clear] second man o man the battery life is awesome and superb.. to be honest iPhone 6 plus is the real upgrade for this generation while 6 is jus OKI keep hearing about how great the battery life is, which is the thing I'm most excited for.Sent it back, glad to be rid of the thing, back to my wonderful iPhone 5 (although this too has a slight yellowish screen, can't win!).I am glad that people are getting lucky and finding one in stock, but this whole pre-order thing is over for me.Like I tell people, it's great if you're a tinkerer and the kind of person who wants to spend hours customizing every little thing about the phone.Funny thing is that the picture quality does increase tremendously when switching to black & white Again, for a smartphone the camera in the 6 is no different than previous models, it works fine so be happy with it.Having owned a caboodle of high tech equipment, and being what you may call an OCD when it comes to keeping my equipment in perfect looking condition, I've learned a thing or two on how I should properly take care of my precious devices, specially ones with glass on them. This site is driving me crazy I can't keep coming here and obsessing on WHEN WILL I GET MY PHONE I'm not getting a damn thing done On the bright side I do have a fancy new iPhone 6 Plus CASE I can carry around and fantasize about what it might be like to carry around a real phone Maybe I should just go get a big 'ol magnifying glass to make my 5s look bigger in the mean time Oh and my wife - she thinks we all are crazy tracking every baby step our phones are taking from conception to delivery out the birth canal We are by the way .Broadly speaking, the screen is utterly gorgeous and everything (bar this one thing...) looks great on it.My 6 is perfect in every single way, looked at it every millimeter, every part of it, everything is flawless, BESIDES ONE THING AND it is bothering my OCD part of me hard.Like another post said the most shocking thing is that they don't seem to understand what they did its wrong, thats why a lot of kids grow up to be a pos since they grow up doing this kind of things and never face major consequences about it.The iPhone thing is bad, but there are worse out there. You say that like that beautiful screen is a bad thing and not a gift!So lets leave these threads with one thing in common....you be happy with your 6 and stop complaining about how BIG the 6+ is, and I will be happy with my 6+ and won't care how you use your 6.the bend thing isn't ridiculous, its not going to bend in your front pocket if your not in some weird awkward position.Seriously, the whole "gate" thing stopped being funny or clever a looong time ago.So Im reading this thread and kind of excited that I may actually be able to get an iPhone 6 since the thing that was holding me back was having to pay full price to keep my unlimited data.Considering selling it, but as cheap as the base model is retail, probably better worth it to just keep the dang thing.Yep you are lucky, funny thing is that on the tracking it still shows on time with delivery by EOD today lol...3) Health This is a nice thing about the new iPhone is it keeps track of steps and distance walked on its own, which is kinda nice how you dont have to install a specific app for it.Looking at my case is the only thing that keeps me sane...well somewhat sane...I am looking at a case pretending there is a phone in it.Then I checked out the 5.5 and thought geez this thing is huge, but after a moment of playing with it it wasn't so bad, however I put my phones in my front pocket (you know being a guy and all) and although I know it would fit in my front pocket it would be very uncomfortable because of how huge it is.and you want us to "Switch on that thing that sits between your ears" I had some of the earliest smart phones going back to windows phone's, ect.. and I never ever put a smart phone in my pocket most of the time, yes I do sometimes with dress pants, but never jeans, and I posted 2 links to 2 samsung phones that broke in pockets.I have a friend on Facebook who feels the need to do this kind of thing with his new LG phone, only 2 months ago he was telling everyone how he was moving away from the iPhone blah blah blah, he was out of contract, the usual stuff people say. This feels reactionary, not revolutionary (also, it was amusing to see Apple launch a large phone like such a thing didn't exist and have people freak out the way they did..I think Android users will be in for a really good treat with the 6 one huge thing I am excited about is apps that open a browser in the app itself and not in Safari, they will now have the same exact speed as Safari itself, Apple is extending its updated Nitro Javascript engine to all apps now, so when a app opens up a browser in the app itself, it loads just as fast as it would on Safari that will be alot faster now, im excited for that+Apple A8 speed, apps are going to get a nice speed boost display quality on the 6/6 plus is ridiculously good, full sRGB range, the viewing angles, there basically isn't any viewing angles with this screen, it really doesnt distort when you look at it from any angle only ever so slightly(15% the most) at absurd viewing angles, dual domain pixel technology is a big deal, love apple along w/my mini bags, first thing i grabbed was my smallest bag and voila it fit perfect!iPhone 6+ Gold 128GB on Verizon So worth the wait man, this thing is beautiful.I love their pricing / service / options, but man they're terrible for this kind of thing...This is kind of like the "I'm not racist, but..." Twitter thing.I'll still just be as happy, at the end of the day, stuff happens...the only thing you can do is get something (from ATT) to make it worth the wait. The thing is that it is gaudy, it is crowded but it isn't bad every once in a while. They are very friendly and accommodating for this kind of thing, and I have done it before many times in-store without any issues. That being said, the nice thing for Apple to do after years of proclaimining they had mobile phone operation "figured out" and that 3.5-4" was the "perfect size" would have been to at least offer one as an OPTION.Well this is the first thing that came to my mind I am a developer and I know there are many creative developers out there who could do great things with NFC on iPhoneIf you wear form fitting pants/jeans that thing will look mighty funny in your pants...yes!Funny thing is years ago when I lived in California I also lived in a location that most people consider typically Southern California..A nice 2 story apartment building in a small canyon full of sagebrush and cactus, built around a big kidney shaped pool with palm trees all around. One thing you always can trust Apple for is an amazing quality of product, and also an amazing quality of service if something is wrong with that product. With the 5.5 inch high resolution screen I can finally use my iPhone kind of like an old view camera, which is what I wanted to do with my iPad, but it's just too large for that kind of thing.buy it unlocked and got to t-mobile $30 plan or straight talk only way it makes it a smart thing to do...$$$ wiseThe bigger screen of the Nexus 4 was and still is beautiful to me, the freedom to change keyboards was a big thing and swipe to type is an amazing feature.I'm sure many here will go into a fit of rage since it's kind of the in thing to hate U2 nowadays, but just wanted to pass along some pretty strong rumors that have started making rounds around Twitter from music journalists and sources inside Univeral Records/U2's camp that there is going to be some kind of tie in with U2 next Tuesday, possibly resulting in their new album or single being preloaded on the iPhone 6.I think that the iPhone 6 design is absolutely amazing and incredible, how thin it is and all the technology its gonna be packed in it with that build quality (aluminum/sapphire glass screen or synthetic sapphire) Thing looks absolutely beautiful if leaks are true, its gonna be a absolute joy to hold and use and look atI been dreaming of a iPhone that as thin as a iPod touch, ever since iPod touches came out i would hold them in my hand and be like wow imagine one day a iPhone becomes this thin.. That day is coming now , i know some people dont care about thinness at all and yes the device being ultra ultra thin isnt the biggest thing to a phone, but the i6 is going to be a absolute dam joy to hold in hand, feel in hand, and to just look at.I have done the waiting in line thing, and while it was kind of exciting. That's not a bad thing though as it's a nice looking deviceI just upgraded to the iPhone 5s and for my need it a great phone all though I had to take it back cause it had issues in the first three months the off and on thing, until then I had the 4s and it worked great.Either way carriers would destroy allot of their user base if they got rid of subsidizing because that would end contracts...Verizon already has that program where you essentially "lease" your phone like a car...I'm guessing the pre-paid revolution is either scaring them or costing them a little.. Another funny thing that inflates the price of a smart phone: CDMA2000 only! It's these kind of questions that make me realize that the whole " No question is a dumb question" thing is just not true. The funny thing is that I dress kinda junkie and I listen to old school music (like Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, CCR, The Doors etc) and I walk around with a fancy champagne-gold phone.I have learnt one thing you don't have to spend a fortune to get a great smart phone. The funny thing is that its kind of seasonal with Apple's release cycles.Haha this is great most hilarious thing I've heard in my life. So, the compelling reasons boils down to (1) saving a bit of cash at the moment, and (2) maybe going for something even better in 6-10 months when the next great thing comes out of Cupertino. It works great for that kind of thing.I can't believe there is people that despise the design of the iPhone 5S, come on the thing is absolutely beautiful, I got the silver one and it seriously is a work of art, most beautiful phone ever, In fact the beautiful design and the smoothness of IOS are the only reasons I stay faithful to the brand, that tacky 5c can't even compareI'll tell ya what, I'm gonna do something you don't see on the internet very often: I'm gonna look deep into AppleCare+ and see if maybe it really is worth it and would make leaving the thing naked worth it.And the 5c fits right into an iPhone 5 case, the only thing is the volume button shape which throws off an otherwise perfect fit.The funny thing is I get great LTE at my house where I don't need it because I'm on Wi-Fi most the time.Great post mate and im still loving mine, had a few snide comments at work about having a yellow phone but then caught the main one looking at new iphones on the web lol Still pick this thing up and love it, have gone white with 4, 4S and 5 but agree the black front totally works with the vibrant colours, white would just not give the same look im also amazed at the number of U turns from 5S back to 5C, love it, keep any more pics coming as love seeing them and it keeps this great thread going! If you are sincere then you've already hit on the only realistic solution, cover the thing. The only other thing worth mentioning is that I had a custom "uncommon" brand clear case on the phone that fit rather tightly. It's kind of funny with this water thing, I had a second gen iPod touch a few years ago and somehow I managed to render the sleep button useless from my sweat on an arm band after a run.My favorite thing on this is the glowing apple logo and the apple logo home button, the home button on this is probably capactative which would be great if apple introduced that. One thing for sure though, now that Apple is offering us the unlocked iPhone I think it will force the companies to offer amazing deals to keep us locked in....if they do, I'll definitely be happy to save the money and sign again...I figure I'm going to need a phone for another 3 year anyhow, so if the price is right, I will. It's the latest and greatest thing, very 2.0, and so Apple is wise to include it with their phone. But, telling me some Android phone was "more advanced" 2 years ago is meaningless to me if the thing that is being pointed to as "advanced" is something irrelevant to me.20 nm 64 bit apple A8> 28nm Snapdragon 805 Cameras are both top notch and cream of the crop , no real , clear winner there Touch ID is king fingerprint scanner sensor and the Note 4 swipe with your thumb BS is not as good note 4 has the best OLED display ever while the 6 Plus has the best LCD smartphone display ever, both are top notch, 6 has a little less resolution but still good Funny thing is that 6 and 6 Plus uses actually newer technology and more cutting edge hardware, a SoC on a 20nm manufacturing node custom designed by Apple In house own ISP now too Both are great devices though but people who say it uses "2012 technology" and "lol wow only 1.4 ghz dual core my Galaxy S3 is faster with 1.5 ghz dual core" just have no understanding at all on all this Fanboys gonna be fanboys , but the 6 Plus and 6 are actually one of the best if not the best peforming smartphone right now on both the CPU/GPU side Totally wrong , 6 and 6 Plus completly utterly destroys anything from 2012, the SoC (which houses the CPU/GPU/ISP/RAM) basically everything, is quite different and not similiar to tech specs back then ARMv8 custom design is drastically different then what has been used in the past What people dont understand at all is that you want faster better single core performance and better IPC always, espcially on mobile devices, this is beyond crucial and key for mobile developing (for obvious reasons; these devices using batteries and thermal constraints etc etc) Same thing with why a Intel quad core is noticeably faster then a AMD quad core thats clocked alot higher speeds then the Intel quad core Its because Intels single core performance and architecture design is SUPERIOR, very little people understand what even makes a CPU design, single core performance and IPC is beyond important and crucial and key for mobile , why would someone want to deal with more weaker single cores and code for all them and try to get parrlellization and efficiency on all cores properly when it is a headache already developing software and games for a bunch of cores on desktop(and multicore processors started coming out 8 years ago) Throwing more cores at it does not increase performance for situations and problems automatically linearly 6 way wide superscaler 1.4 ghz Enhanced cyclone cores on ARM's latest architecture design (ARMv8 or 64 bit) OP I suggest you look up on the A7/A8 details , it is more comparable to Intel Haswell processors then it is to what Qualcomm offers actually in terms of performanceGood thing I'm an honest kind of guy and didn't take this one, then go in later and do it again since the system would have shown I hadn't picked it up yet. Some display units may exhibit it, some may not, thats the thing with LCD technology, it is not 100% perfect and this is where OLED has advantages in having perfect screen uniformity and no backlight(OLED has issues of its own too though) Id say just keep it, nd just relax...slowly overtime too itll go away the backlight as we start to use our phones even more I believe, or itll just dim enough to the point where it is gone eventually....if you truly want to get your phone completly replaced , its really hit or miss with the Genius's, you could of told them, "hey this issue just started developing and im afraid itll get worse over time," etc etc.At the time I had no idea what his reason could have been but dishonesty always troubles me and only bad things seem to follow and I felt that we had time to stop the whole thing from getting ugly.Excessive thread locking and post deletion and banning has destroyed countless formerly great forums - deleting spam is one thing but vibrant forums that stay vibrant are typically the least moderated.Borg.... resistance is futile...you will be assimilated... you will be the same unsubscribed ps... am I the only one who thinks its weird that their iPhones are so important to them they cannot miss a call or text that its life or death each time... that given all that they actually put the thing down and walk away from it.Anyway, I will go ahead and say the phone is the only thing I have in my lonely, really bad life.It would be annoying and there maybe a reason they don't do that, but it would do the same thing without majorly upsetting users of Apple Pay/Google Wallet/ISIS, etc.My mom had her iPad stolen once, I activated Find my iPhone on it prior but it did practically nothing...the guy that "found it" (he's got a record so I was weary) erased the whole thing....was sketchy overall and kind of pissed me off but oh well.It is by far the worst thing I have to say about this phone, even worse than battery life. But I have a picture with a first gen iPhone next to my plus and damn that thing was puny.I'd love 2GB of RAM and whenever possible I like to double up on RAM, when building PC's I've been known to ram as much RAM (pun intended) as possible...maybe in a simple minded effort to just make things "better" but I've been using my rMBP which I only got 8GB of RAM for and compared to the 16GB RAM models its not insanely different...only difference is when I start doing INSANE things in video editing, I'm not talking about transcoding high res video I'm talking about doing some crazy ****** in After Effects and making the computer hot enough to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner....I don't think their is a whole lot on the iPhone 6 you can do that can push the RAM to the limit....I mean yeah opening a zillion tabs (which I am notorious for, I always have max tabs open) is one thing but I still find my phone to respond very well...What a strange and absurd thing to say.The weird thing is, turning this on and using it for more than a couple minutes, the icons on the home screen and photo displays actually kinda give me a weird case of nausea. But the thing that you seem to have missed (since 1994) isnt that you are stopping discussions with "truth" you are stopping discussions because you annoy people with such irrational thinking that they dont bother trying to reason with an unreasonable person.I swapped to a note 3 then S5 worst thing i have ever done with tech, especially with a MBPr and iPad.They don't play nice together. The 6 plus is great but it doesn't get rid of that stale iOS feeling of the same thing for 7 years now.One thing I've learned in my old age - the world is a cruel, cruel place.Besides, I've seen some research on this very thing and it turns out that people are just as rude and vicious when using their real names. Its so strange to me that Space Gray is more popular, since the iPhone 5 I was worried that Black iPhones might have become a thing of the past!To believe that sapphire is less than ideal simply because traditionally used sapphire as we know it and as it's used today is less than ideal, is to not understand Apple as a company, I think, and how they've completely changed how things are done and what is(n't) possible from manufacturing and engineering standpoint Picking nits now: While that's indeed true, I also know that even though I'm from the south, saying, "God bless her, but..." doesn't excuse or sterilize any nasty thing I say about a person thereafter. The only thing I'm worried about is if Apple fixed their lighting cables, because I'm honestly tired of having my cables wear turtlenecks. Here's the thing too many of you are getting hung up on "it doesn't feel cheap next to a cheap competitor."I was told to setup as new, which I've already tried Interesting thing though - he said that these apps are having problems, so I am going to try a fresh restore again, downloading the firmware again as well, as he seems to think it is corrupt (the firmware): backboardd, com.apple.WebKit, SpringBoard From my jailbreaking days, I know that backboardd is an integral daemon that runs along side springboard, which is also corrupt, per the tech Will restore as new tonight and report back tomorrow afternoon Let us know what they say!My is still processing but I'll be keeping my 6+ Only thing I'm worried about is when they're gonna finally ship the damn thing. It makes no sense to attach "gate" to any word to automatically infer that it means a scandal, and this whole thing can get rather annoying and tiresome. If this is somehow a narrow thing and a non issue, which seems doubtful at this point, great but as It stands if the phone Is bending in a front pocket there is a definite problem and apple should have either engineered around it and honeycombed the metal and reinforced it or made the phone thicker.Another thing that kinda annoyed me is the scaling situation, instead of running apps at 1920x1080 it runs them at 2208 x 1242 and then downsamples it to 1920x1080 so it's not pixel perfect but more importantly its even further burdening the graphics hardware making it render things at an even higher resolution and then compounding that with scaling.Being ignorant about something potentially very serious is not the most intelligent thing to doSitting on the same thing ... to me they can get it to us tomorrow ... and I'm gonna be pretty unhappy if it carries over into Thurs ... since I am not home all day and even picking it up will be annoying as I have class all day ..The thing is I'm not going to notice little things such as some apps look fuzzy (not optimized yet hopefully), photos look fuzzy on the edges, back text is crooked, glass is partially separated in one spot, screen is yellow, etc etc without using my own for hours or a day or 2 so just looking at one for a few min isn't going to help aside from getting an overall picture of yes this looks great or not.Your own impatience is the only thing making it 'outrageous' and 'unbearable'.Strange thing is if I use it I get worse or same as applesI don't have it yet, I do have placed a pre-order though, and the only thing I'm really 'worried' about is whether or not it will actually fit in my pants (front).I'm "upgrading" from the 4S and I gotta say that as weird as this may sound, I really like the thickness of it because - another weird thing here - I can feel its weight in my pocket (yes POCKET) and it reminds me where I put it!And of course the worst thing about this is, I am at the mercy of ATT and their iPhone 6 inventory (which is quite abysmal). The major major thing with the 6+ is how shocking bad safari behaves.I usually don't mind this kind of thing because of the battery issue, but the 6 and 6 plus have great battery life so there's no more excuse to not put 2GB of RAM in it...and one last thing; do not give advice on this or any forum based on unfounded assumptions or wishful thinking, the internet is becoming overloaded with dubious information. The bad thing is I've been sick for a couple days and have been napping on my couch, but since I can see the road and parking areas right in front of my living room windows, every time I start to doze I hear something and am gawking out the window thus thoroughly destroying my nap, which is making me feel worse from my sickies. The plus owners will think " i thought im going to watch a lot of movies and playing games with this thing, but 90% of the usage actually chatting and soc med and this thing is so big and annoying it's very hard to use with one hand, i should have got the 6 instead damn!!!"Hmm...I saw the same thing when I put in my phone numbers and then a fake number to see what was happening, but if I put in a fake number (even a valid land line number) it doesn't work. It's funny - I have come to know Apple as a tech company with a good track record on many issues, but the one thing where Apple is not just good, great or amazing but absolutely perfect is getting things delivered to customers on the launch date.Well, it's a good thing you aren't exaggerating and adopting an insulting tone to "support" your rebuttal, because if you were that would make it significantly less compelling. The only thing that could cause that bad of battery life is if you're in an area with really bad coverage and it's doing a lot of searching\low-bar data...I was just going to suggest one that can fit an iPad Mini but that thing is beautiful. Can't wait until it's revealed that Lord Zedd used his evil powers to steal all the iPhones, thus meaning that none of us are getting a damn thingThat thing is bizarre, way too big for a phone, nice if you don't have a tablet already.I know I can order and get it delivered next Friday but I kind of want to experience the waiting in line thing as dumb as it may be.Maybe this is not worth a post, but last night a funny thing happened. Now it becomes an awkward thing for both people (cashiers touching nasty phones/nasty cashiers touching my personal phone) etc. It's the same thing every time we have one of these.... Everyone gets all spun up and Apple Logos appear in their eyes....We make ludicrous posts about how Apple is the greatest and we can't wait to stand in line at 3 am to purchase it.... And then the Keynote happens and we will come back and say what an awful update that was and how underwhelmed we are by the newest Apple offerings....Then we may buy it...We may preorder it but only because the battery life sucks on the 6 month old 5S we currently have....Trying to ascribe bad motives to whoever had the device blacklisted is just sick, and it's wrong, and it's a pathetic whiny excuse to avoid doing the right thing and turning it in to the police. The main thing stopping me from doing so is I am worried that apple can tell if an esn is bad or activation lock I sensed. While there are people who will defend something here and there because of this or that, there are certainly quite a few of those who will simply explain what their use is like and/or what they think is behind a particular design/functionality without necessarily saying it's the best thing ever and can't be better, but also without going crazy about it and how bad it is and how bad Apple is and how it's all horrible.on the contrary, web browsing is the main thing I use my phone for, I've never had "ram" issues but I don't look for trouble, having 8 open tabs is dumbof the folks going to the Genius Bar have a genuine concern and issue, there are a good number who are trying to cheat the system, make unreasonable demands, feel entitled, or are unreasonably obsessive over the slightest thing Personally, I have a lot of sympathy for anyone in customer service who has to deal with people who are rude, arrogant, entitled, idiots, sneaky and more Customer service of any kind is typically a thankless job with little reward I'm not saying all Geniuses are angels themselves, but I tend to believe much of the vitriol directed at them is unjustifiedThe thing that is annoying is people take comments personally like you are insulting their kids or something.I've already replaced the screen myself with a cheap Chinese knockoff after shattering it one drunk night in platform heels, so I'm familiar with the guts of the thing.A few months after having my phone i dropped it and where the sim card would go popped open which was weird and noticed it had a sim card which i am pretty sure it never had another weird thing it was a at&t sim card and my google number was assigned to it which i know i never did. Here's the strange thing about my service.....I can have terrible service one day and then decent service the very next day, same exact location (standing in my front yard).Hope this helps some of you out because this battery thing had me furious and frustrated!I have to be honest, I am not very knowledgeable on this kind of thing, and so far my google searches have produced zilch, BUT I was wondering if anyone might have some information on the ST iPhone 4.Yes, there are shady Geniuses who would suggest such a thing, but they do not represent the vast majority of them so your argument is invalid. After a while trying to understand why my fullchargecapacity was dropping like crazy(sort of 50mAh per charge), a noticed something: Batterycurrentcapacity:100 Batteryischarging:true Fullycharged:false I guess this is THE THING that is giving to the users a variety of different fullchargecapacities, my example: Cyclecount: 38 Fullchargecapacity: 1243 Batterycurrentcapacity:100 Batteryischarging:true Fullycharged:false I let my iphone plugged in to my computer, and after a while i opened the ibackupbot again, but this time something showed up differently: Cyclecount: 38 Fullchargecapacity: 1304 Batterycurrentcapacity:100 Batteryischarging:true Fullycharged:false So, I guess my advice is, if you want the app to accurately measure your fullchargecapacity, you have to wait till the batteryischarging:false and fullycharged:true.BUT, dear friends, the worst annoying thing is that 3D Games and scenes looking worst on this faulty screens!I do believe I am slowly spiraling down into a rainbow colored psychedelic twisted full blown level 5 code red delusional brain melt down waiting for this thing. And the last thing I want is too get a replacement that is worse than my current week 39: -3 flat -2 long edge -2 short edge This is definitely the worse apple issue I have faced throughout the 10 different purchases I've made over the years!Nothing really I have my wifi and Bluetooth on, but I turned off most the the location services I don't need and left only the ones I need like camera, find my iphone etc, with everything thing on I should get close to 7-9 hours, but to be honest I mostly used it so far for normal usage, no map usage today such as Waze, it drains battery power like mad, I'll post update lasted tomorrow after using Waze to show the difference in battery power. It's crazy when the ipad retina cost only $500 and the iPod touch 32GB cost only $300 The only better thing about the iPhone is the camera and the newer hardware The loan is stupid because the phone companies are greedy to charge people $80 a month for 2 years is insaneI already tried to get used to the no surf and talk while on data and the annoying "multiple calls" thing when you get another call while being on one, it says multiple, if you hang up with one, the other goes away and rings you back, beyond weird, i realize this is a CDMA thing along w/ super slow 3g when LTE is not avail. The thing that does disturb me on a routine usage is the vertical scan lines or interlaced lines, which makes me dizzy and gives me sore eyes. The strange thing is that is I switched the phone off then on again it would all work ok, I noticed this on Friday and over the weekend, I called Apple Support who did not have a clue about what to do, strange that it has been fine yesterday and today. That looks stunning The only thing I don't like is the home button put on the frame, thats so android like and I never liked it on my friends device but the rest looks great & I also like the light up Apple Logo but that would be replaced by the home button again, maybe the lil square lines of that button could light up when I get a notification, I would welcome it...otherwise it depresses me that we all have so many wonderful ideas but we all know that Apple will never implement them into the final productThere could very well be bad publicity for Apple, they will be releasing a product which is somewhat defective right when you turn it on..... Sure Apple has alot of people who will still buy the device regardless of how many probs the thing has, but then you have people who will come after Apple just like they would any other company who releases a broken product and does nothing to fix it.This is the problem with spending your time reading Macrumors I guess, people can make mockups that look realistic but are unrealistically small/thin and have features that Apple won't or can't add yet, then when the real thing is released it looks bad by comparison.
problems
I have a 128gb iPhone 6+ ..no problems all the rumors(gates) floating around the internet are all BS ..my iphone hasn't bent ..my 128gb tlc hasnt died ..my screen is perfect ..I get better service than on the Note 3 bottom line is ..unless apple acknowledges the problem or someone posts substantive empirical evidence that has been repeated with the same results by another party ...then its a fake rumor you need not trouble yourself withOne of the biggest problems in the U.S. criminal justice system is that we don't employ these kinds of punishments ; Americans are way too eager to see everyone do some time thinking that it has some kind of magical rehabilitative effect on criminals, which we know is not true.Wow, seems like Iphone 6 Plus is having a lot of problems...I tried the Note 4 at bestbuy today and it was stunning and a wonderful device on all regards...would not trade it for another love the larger screen for these retired old eyes no "pocket problems" better Nav screen for the car great for videos great for surfing websites overall just a great improvement.... and I think it's interesting reading the posts that seem to think "everyone will see you have a large phone" hogwash - nobody so far has even noticed it - in the real world (outside forums) no one seems to give a damn what phone I have...LOLRefreshing causes a great deal of problems on the sites I frequent.Someone who looks nervous and uncertain will seem less likely to cause problems than someone who looks strong and confident.Mine doesn't rattle, neither it restarts by itself, the touch id works perfectly every single time , I have no problems with signal or wifi and the battery last all day using it heavily; I wanted to change my 5s 16g for a 32g but now I'm honestly scared to see all the problems other people have with their phone, I think I got lucky, and now I won't change it.But, it never gets that delicious kind of information due to the sensor problems.20 nm 64 bit apple A8> 28nm Snapdragon 805 Cameras are both top notch and cream of the crop , no real , clear winner there Touch ID is king fingerprint scanner sensor and the Note 4 swipe with your thumb BS is not as good note 4 has the best OLED display ever while the 6 Plus has the best LCD smartphone display ever, both are top notch, 6 has a little less resolution but still good Funny thing is that 6 and 6 Plus uses actually newer technology and more cutting edge hardware, a SoC on a 20nm manufacturing node custom designed by Apple In house own ISP now too Both are great devices though but people who say it uses "2012 technology" and "lol wow only 1.4 ghz dual core my Galaxy S3 is faster with 1.5 ghz dual core" just have no understanding at all on all this Fanboys gonna be fanboys , but the 6 Plus and 6 are actually one of the best if not the best peforming smartphone right now on both the CPU/GPU side Totally wrong , 6 and 6 Plus completly utterly destroys anything from 2012, the SoC (which houses the CPU/GPU/ISP/RAM) basically everything, is quite different and not similiar to tech specs back then ARMv8 custom design is drastically different then what has been used in the past What people dont understand at all is that you want faster better single core performance and better IPC always, espcially on mobile devices, this is beyond crucial and key for mobile developing (for obvious reasons; these devices using batteries and thermal constraints etc etc) Same thing with why a Intel quad core is noticeably faster then a AMD quad core thats clocked alot higher speeds then the Intel quad core Its because Intels single core performance and architecture design is SUPERIOR, very little people understand what even makes a CPU design, single core performance and IPC is beyond important and crucial and key for mobile , why would someone want to deal with more weaker single cores and code for all them and try to get parrlellization and efficiency on all cores properly when it is a headache already developing software and games for a bunch of cores on desktop(and multicore processors started coming out 8 years ago) Throwing more cores at it does not increase performance for situations and problems automatically linearly 6 way wide superscaler 1.4 ghz Enhanced cyclone cores on ARM's latest architecture design (ARMv8 or 64 bit) OP I suggest you look up on the A7/A8 details , it is more comparable to Intel Haswell processors then it is to what Qualcomm offers actually in terms of performanceMy 6 Plus has been absolutely amazing and I have absolutely no lag or stutter at all on my 6 Plus, your 6 Plus seems to be defective, Sounds like you might not even have a 6 Plus, why would you spend all that money when a ton of your "problems" is something you could of always seen in person hands on with the device or so (surely you tried the device out before forking over money) And Siri has been working for me 90% of the time and is light years better then what it has been, that seems to be a connection issue on your part with Siri having a response like thatCars have some weird problems with stereo's....my dads car is horrible, if I plug my phone into the charger in his car his radio just goes out (well loud static constant), its pretty bad lol.As a whole, when you add up all OEM's that use Android and all their issues combined, it is drastically worse then Apple's issues combined(2014 Moto G having terrible memory issue problems that Motorola isn't acknowledging, and so much more)I think i may just be paranoid.. doesn't seem like annoying else is experiencing the same problems under careful usage.iP6 not moving on swappa either Awesome or as CNotes would say If you are doing ship to home, some people on SDs thread are still reporting activation problems.Like the argument that Apple is evil and the workers in china all die etc.. Those ppl did obviously not understand that the lithium for every houshold device is harvested from poor african childs in lithium mines and most of them die or get serious lung problems but thats ok, because the real evil are the apple factories which means foxconn and those factories actually produce for alot of companies, not only apple.I am lucky enough not to have any problems where I live but heard of other cities can be bad.I was told to setup as new, which I've already tried Interesting thing though - he said that these apps are having problems, so I am going to try a fresh restore again, downloading the firmware again as well, as he seems to think it is corrupt (the firmware): backboardd, com.apple.WebKit, SpringBoard From my jailbreaking days, I know that backboardd is an integral daemon that runs along side springboard, which is also corrupt, per the tech Will restore as new tonight and report back tomorrow afternoon Let us know what they say!Horrible build quality...the chrome bezel painting is wearing off, the battery cover scratches so damn easily and the screen gets ********s of fingerprints despite having an oleophobic coating... Now on the software side, things are even more ******... During my first 3 months of usage I had no problems with this phone, everything was fast and smooth. After two years of sheer complacency, this launch will sure to be fraught with lots of problems and angry buyers. No one was perfect, either connection problems or unstable connection / bad speed etc.No problem brother , like I said we pay crazy prices for these devices and honestly if people just settled for less than perfect because they were afraid to be anal retentive than how would company's like apple even know these problems exist , they have to be held to the same standards we are and if I gave less than 100% at work I would be fired or less than 100% at home something could happen to my family and I'm not about to let that happen .and if they approve they can do swap, so hopefully they can help... Again, I know i had 14 days but it didn't affect me at the time bad enough, its go ten worse over time and yes I know it sounds so silly cause if you don't experience it you have no real understanding and trolls these days do kinda ruin it for legit problems
web
Calls sound great, iOS 8 seems to work fantastically, browses great, and the regular web sites look good (after a simple pull down on the web page to load them...thanks iOS8) on this size phone.Calls sound great, iOS 8 seems to work fantastically (outside of some skins of apps not loading all the time), browses great, and the regular web sites look good (after a simple pull down on the web page to load them...thanks iOS8) on this size phone.Calls sound great, iOS 8 seems to work fantastically (outside of some skins of apps not loading all the time), browses great, and the regular web sites look good (after a simple pull down on the web page to load them...thanks iOS8) on this size phone.Very happy with the 64GB 6 I got except Wish I got the 128GB due to lack of space for my photos hopefully iCloud Photo Library will fix this when it launches properly other wise very happy customer with the bigger screen better for web browsing and messagingDidn't think this new design would be a big deal, but damn the tapered glass edges sure feel nice when swiping forward and back between web pages and whatnotWhile watching videos and surfing Web would be great on it - everyday use I think I will be happy with my "small" 6.All of us who got up before 3 am in the eastern time zone, sat around refreshing the web site for over 2 hours, and couldn't go to a carrier site or the app because we are T-Mobile customers, and then finally gave up and went to bed, and then later woke up and found the shipping times were late October, deserve some kind of acknowledgement.I just think there's something amazing about seeing the world evolve from a place where phones were huge plastic boxes that were attached to the wall with a wire and computers were the whole floor of a city block and only NASA and the IRS had them to today where we're debating whether a SIX OUNCE computer that's about 70mm thick, no bigger than a checkbook, can process MILLIONS of times more data than those old machines, is a still and video camera, a photo editor, a phone, a text messager, a Web browser, a motion sensor, a game system, includes a built in monitor, a rechargable battery that will power it all day and a high definition screen... is too big to fit in our pockets when we bend over to tie our shoes. But web browsing and texting, etc on the beautiful android 5" screens is amazing! You agree not to misuse the Service or Device, including but not limited to: (a) reselling or rebilling our Service; Just reading a wall of text is kind of useless with these kind of things.I used my iphone 6 for 12 days before i returned it and went for a 6plus now here are the differences:- iPhone 6 Pros One handed use light and pocketable Cons to be honest except for the design there wasnt any difference btw 5s and 6.. battery life was almost the same n so was the display iPhone 6 plus my experience:- as i have used LG g3 and Note 3 going for a phablet wasnt a big deal for me..but to be honest this thing is big and not that much easy to carry around in your pockets but two things made me just fall in love with this beauty 1st its bigger and FULL HD display [on iphone 6 i can easily see jaggered lines on the text n Fonts but here on iphone 6 plus everything is smooth n crystal clear] second man o man the battery life is awesome and superb.. to be honest iPhone 6 plus is the real upgrade for this generation while 6 is jus OKnow i have to tap the screen to see if i missed something like one of those rude and annoying teens that cannot hold a conversation at a restaurant table and i hate myself for it lol i used to see "green" ah okay its a whatsapp text, ill answer it after dinner or white oh its an email from uni i better check that.If I wasn't on a family plan only paying for unlimited data then I would be on one of the following: - Verizons $60/mo 2gb + unlim talk & text plan (includes phone subsidy worth $18.75/mo) - Crickets $35/mo 1gb + unlim talk & text plan - Brightspot Mobiles $29/mo 3gb + 300 min + unlim text Gun to my head right now I'd pick Verizon's deal, best combination of great network and value on an individual currently running IMO.On the tad yellow I had to turn bold on (to see the text better), but on my tad pink, I had to shut bold off (to see the background better). Now I know some people like their phones big - the 6 is great for watching videos, pictures and displaying plenty of text, and for those people, this phone is perfect!I just think there's something amazing about seeing the world evolve from a place where phones were huge plastic boxes that were attached to the wall with a wire and computers were the whole floor of a city block and only NASA and the IRS had them to today where we're debating whether a SIX OUNCE computer that's about 70mm thick, no bigger than a checkbook, can process MILLIONS of times more data than those old machines, is a still and video camera, a photo editor, a phone, a text messager, a Web browser, a motion sensor, a game system, includes a built in monitor, a rechargable battery that will power it all day and a high definition screen... is too big to fit in our pockets when we bend over to tie our shoes.I used to but I switched back after updating to iOS 7.1 because they made the bold text too bold.I'm wondering if I should get out soon, before I too become so addicted to how nice the text looks on the screen and how well the Facebook app works and how it all links so seamlessly to my Mac Air that I too become like "who cares if you can't do 101 other basic and important things with the phone, look at how nice that text font is and it's beautiful form factor!!"You are the perfect candidate for prepaid... Aio's $40 a month plan out the door for unlimited, talk, text and 250 MB of data would be perfect. If you offer a phenomenal service/price/deal that they want to sign up for the text alerts, great.it's a wonderful piece of software if you want to dictate, send a message, read a text message or copy cute little commercials you see on tv.It seems Google have gone for the half-arsed 'force text to fit the screen' option rather than the more elegant 'load the page in a readable format from the word go' that Apple takes.Using.. say Evo4G.. or something.. the text reading is like magic.. and with adobe flash.. nothing can be missed.. it is soo wonderful..>> oh never mind.. more and more people are moving to mobile site.. so one doesn't have to worry.. << On almost all "mobile" sites, the text size assumes perfect vision and, for me, even with reading glasses, the text size on almost all mobile sites is too small to read without zooming... so, even on the mobile sites, you are faced with the need to scroll each line of text. Now that they make less and less money with text messages it is getting worse and worse.Borg.... resistance is futile...you will be assimilated... you will be the same unsubscribed ps... am I the only one who thinks its weird that their iPhones are so important to them they cannot miss a call or text that its life or death each time... that given all that they actually put the thing down and walk away from it.Although, I won't hold my breath considering my shipping window is 11/5-11/14, not to mention I would that they would cover all of the preorders first, but, it AT&T we are dealing with...To make matters worse, I won't find out until they update either the website or send me a text about my order since the 877 number hasn't worked since I've placed the order (although I still try)... Good luck everyone; I am about as impatient as they come, so for those of you waiting from 9/12, I don't know how you have done it without going mad!(The second biggest factor is that annoying, pointless, and confusing outgoing text sound iphone makes that can't be turned off in non-vibrate mode. Also, LG runs this awful sharpening filter that makes text look terrible. The Moto X in general was a very average phone though - bad battery life (go search forums endless complaints), bad AMOLED screen (whites are really bad and fuzzy text), and the camera was the trifecta of bad.Having a Notes app that decides to dedicate a third of it's window on a 5.5" phone to a largely irrelevant list so the actual note you are typing gets *less* display space than it did on a 4 inch phone is really bad design (and indeed you got more text on a 3.5" screen!).The thing is I'm not going to notice little things such as some apps look fuzzy (not optimized yet hopefully), photos look fuzzy on the edges, back text is crooked, glass is partially separated in one spot, screen is yellow, etc etc without using my own for hours or a day or 2 so just looking at one for a few min isn't going to help aside from getting an overall picture of yes this looks great or not.I had been on AT&T since 2010 and just moved to T-Mobile, as mentioned above, love the unlimited data not to mention the talk and text, my plan on AT&T used to be 450m/1000text/2gb data for a monthly charge of $75+tax and now I have unlimited data/talk/text for $30+tax (add on in a family plan) , its awesome , however the service in my home sometimes drops , when I called Customer Service I was told New Tower installation is imminent.T-Mobile has the worst reliability, the worst data performance, the worst call performance and the worst text performance. The inability to opt out and/or getting a second unwanted text would make me never use your services/business again, no matter how great the deals were.Having a cheapo basic (non-internet) throw-away is cheap & can send text msg on it, too, if desperate (extra 10-25-cents or whatever), & it provides an extra ph # for sites & places that require a ph # but you don't want to give them your main/primary iphone #.
