I noticed some 128 +'s in stock today at some of the Canadian Apple Stores, so that's a promising sign that they're moving.IF you get lucky, the blue shirt will go to his/her manager and speak about it... the manager will then come over to you and say, yes we can cancel the 2 year contract and you'll have to wait for your upgrade eligibility to kick back in, which generally takes 5-10 mins... if you cancelled twice, you're SOL as it locks the upgrade and you'll have to call AT&T and they'll have to call some other to have it restored which will take 3-5 business days... to avoid that, if you're on a family plan, I'd suggest you pre-order with another line thats not looking to upgrade right away... that way your upgrade is available right away and theres no waiting around... if you're the only line, I'd suggest you log into your AT&T mobile app and keep refreshing the upgrade eligibility page until you see it kick in... once they cancel the 2 year contract, theres an option for the NEXT or you can purchase the phone "device only" which means you pay for the phone completely, right there... again, I've experienced stores where they will flat out tell you they cant do such a thing, blah blah blah, cancelling will put the phone back into their online pre-order batch, which is BS... you just need to get lucky and have a blue shirt willing to do it for you...Or without returning and waiting it out until they become ubiquitous in stores... And being the most popular device that Apple sells, I know and have experienced quality taking the bench next to just pumping these things out, getting them in every one and their mothers' hands and making those quarterly earnings looks AMAZING, INNOVATIVE, PROMISING.So - taking into account Apple deprecated the 64GB 5s model from now on, I've just immediately bought the 64GB iPhone 5s - while they are still present here in stores... And now - I'm REALLY happy with it: I've got the extremely convenient TouchID feature, better camera etc, all in lovely 4" size.I have heard that Verizon Stores are not that bad on iPhone launch days but I anticipate this one being kind of crazier than the last few years. Also, they're the kind of stores that are small and are all side by side located in an unpleasant and not so popular district.I'm also betting the new "Yes, we have the new iphone" campaign and the sudden insurgence of stock sent to stores is to counteract the bad word of mouth/publicity they are getting from the thousands of disgruntled orderers. What makes me even more frustrated is 3 Apple store here in town have the 128gb SG Plus in stock....but since AT&T let me upgrade early, and I cancel my order, I can't upgrade until November 9th anyway.... Its just frustrating knowing ALL THREE stores in town have the 128gb SG Plus in stock as of now....I seriously think Apple just posts fake stock for bots to try and buy like someone else said.. Because I was waiting for that and I even checked the stock on another device on apple's website a second before I pressed buy and it said available and then after I tried and got the error it immediately switched to unavailable... Like they just post one to trick bots into trying to buy it quickly for someone and it automatically fails on purpose and the stock is gone.. Apple please stop fake stocking your storesCarrier stores are the worst of the worst.****** i highly suggest one card for express check out in app as the system gets really buggy + slow the more clicks you need to do, if any way to use one card i would try.....they state a gift card issued by credit card co but given the wording i would assume that it would be ok for two credit cards i know a lot of online merchants like the top dept stores will only allow one credit card but mutiple store gift cards, you may want to send a quick note under a different email just to confirm as apple is quite strict.... in worse case you could get the gift card from one of the credit cards and that will def work, good luck! Most stores here in Canada have bad customer service these days or horrible pre sale assistance.

stock
I noticed some 128 +'s in stock today at some of the Canadian Apple Stores, so that's a promising sign that they're moving. This, this website is superb and it helped me find a 6 Plus 64 Gb in stock right at my local Apple store, I got the 4.7 inch 6 on Launch date, and I had it for about a month, I loved it but the Plus was looking so luring and amazing once I got to play with it a few times, I was so sure at first I didnt ever want the Plus, but then I started envying it, and then My brother ended up buying this Plus at Apple and we traded my 4.7 inch i6 with Applecare + on it for a 64 gb 6 plus for me, and I honestly couldnt be anymore satisfied and happy with this, I am beyond happy I got the plus, I love this thing and Im already use to the size, the thinness of the device is truly what makes this phablet actually very tolerable imo and its very slim in the pocket, The bigger screen alongside with the stupendously good battery life alone is beyond worth it and also OIS, All other phones just feel tiny now to me hah, TLDR: switched from a 6 (never thought id get a phablet) to a Plus and i am beyond in love with this thing and i am beyond satisifed and happy i went from the 6 to the 6 PlusIt seems clear from your description that when moving, the location will be problematic, but I'm still unclear as to why would this would be the case even when I'm standing stock still.Apple has enough stock to keep enough people happy while making some others very eager with anticipation.I am glad that people are getting lucky and finding one in stock, but this whole pre-order thing is over for me.I also purchased a basic phone as a second line.... Later in the day i got a phone call saying my card was declined..called and approved but at that point my order was pushed further in the que... waited and waited and nothing changed... until today and kept checking this forum to see where everyone was at....and after finally waiting for so long i gave up and was LUCKY enough to find a device at a Best Buy Mobile store via: idevicechecker.com I would definetely recommend it..got there wiht no line and got my new SILVER 128 gb plus...and I decided to stay with my carrier.. ATT customer service was worthless...they didn't know what they were talking about and was always getting the run around..ontop of that the LG basic phone I ordered was in stock but they never shipped it to me and its always says backordered.....We have an NC specific thread going and I was #1 in line at the Friendly Center store and talked to the employee that stepped outside 30 minutes prior to store opening to take walk-in reservations and another member of the NC thread was at the Crabtree store at the same time I was at the Friendly store and we compared stock reports from employees that morning.I was happy to pay for full price for an out of contract phone (TMobile) - They never used the reservation system - We were told the store had all skus in stock, and based on our spot in line, we'd get what we want - Our line just stopped moving - Come 1:00 - we heard - second hand - all the 6P inventory was gone - which is difficult to understand because our line did not move.I already tried going to my store to ask if some kind of demon magic had been used and they had 6+'s in stock - alas, no demon portal there...Go to Apple store and demand they open up all of their launch day stock in front of me until I find the perfect phone that suits my perfect existence.I'm also betting the new "Yes, we have the new iphone" campaign and the sudden insurgence of stock sent to stores is to counteract the bad word of mouth/publicity they are getting from the thousands of disgruntled orderers. What makes me even more frustrated is 3 Apple store here in town have the 128gb SG Plus in stock....but since AT&T let me upgrade early, and I cancel my order, I can't upgrade until November 9th anyway.... Its just frustrating knowing ALL THREE stores in town have the 128gb SG Plus in stock as of now....so today I went to a local apple store cause they had some 6 16s in stock so I was going to buy in store and their also getting the same message on their apple pay 5s devices, so the very nice rep {not the ones all pumped up and wanting to give u a high five in the middle of store cause u got a damn 6 16gb silver} said he would see what he could do to remove the block but nothing worked and in the end I just left and he said I should try Verizon again but if it works on their end I highly doubt they will help further.I got my letter from Apple that "my items should ship between oct 20-27" That is right on track for my delivery estimate of Oct28-Nov4 Unlocked sg+128 9/29 Apple is dumb for making only one black front faced phone and two white............ most of us use cases and you never see the gold..sg..silver... but you see the front and most people want black except for girls and impatient people because its the only phone that might be in stock near you... rant over...all just not cool when i've paid 1K for an iPhone and cases and it had a kernel panic, must have been a bad chip, so weird as i mentioned it on my old mac book, when i wrote the thread - i think peeps from UK were posting thinking i could just pop over to a store, time difference, plus i was not sure if could store could even help b/c of stock issues..... what are the odds of 2 KP's esp one on an iPhone!I seriously think Apple just posts fake stock for bots to try and buy like someone else said.. Apple please stop fake stocking your storesit makes me mad to see all the sprint plus's available sprint should be ashamed of themselves for having this much stock availableSeems strange -- imagine the other side of the coin where they don't have the one you picked out during the order because someone else switched out their ordered one for your color -- seems a bit unfair esp considering the lack of stock. We put so much stock into negative emails yet nothing into credible evidence to the contrary.Third, no stock and slow shipping results in bad publicity and customer complaints - which lead to even more bad publicity.
online
That was a better choice overall for several reasons (NO fees, "other" ATM surcharges returned, nice online tools), and I'm happy with them.IF you get lucky, the blue shirt will go to his/her manager and speak about it... the manager will then come over to you and say, yes we can cancel the 2 year contract and you'll have to wait for your upgrade eligibility to kick back in, which generally takes 5-10 mins... if you cancelled twice, you're SOL as it locks the upgrade and you'll have to call AT&T and they'll have to call some other to have it restored which will take 3-5 business days... to avoid that, if you're on a family plan, I'd suggest you pre-order with another line thats not looking to upgrade right away... that way your upgrade is available right away and theres no waiting around... if you're the only line, I'd suggest you log into your AT&T mobile app and keep refreshing the upgrade eligibility page until you see it kick in... once they cancel the 2 year contract, theres an option for the NEXT or you can purchase the phone "device only" which means you pay for the phone completely, right there... again, I've experienced stores where they will flat out tell you they cant do such a thing, blah blah blah, cancelling will put the phone back into their online pre-order batch, which is BS... you just need to get lucky and have a blue shirt willing to do it for you...So, i can 100% assure you that even tho, istocknow is a GREAT tool to find iphones in this days, There are two complete different stocks for both kind of customers, the ones buying iphones online, and the ones that prefers to walk into the Apple Store.I personally like the online reservation system and think that a great way to make it work better for the end user is to require a cellphone account of some kind. Thanks for the link...been looking all over online for a nice one and aside from dockplus.com, which is very similar to the one you posted, but literally twice the price (and too much in my opinion for a dock) I hadn't found something really nice, simple and elegant. They got me in by 10:30 and I was out of there with a new phone with a beautiful, perfect screen by around 11:15, despite the heavy traffic of people picking up iPhones ordered online.(This is my favorite thread every year) I think with the 5 I kept refreshing at 9:55p ET, I'm going to try both - I'm sure after tonight we'll know for sure when online store inventory updates. Both Phones iPhone 6 128GB PLUS Dead Pixel/Dust under screen (Everything else is perfect) iPhone 6 128GB Dead Pixel (Everything else is perfect) Phoned up Apple Online waited over 40 Minutes replacements to be sent out on the 10th-15th October. When I first saw the 5S online I thought it was ugly but once I saw them in person I thought they were gorgeous.I am excited for the iPhone for life plan they launched and ordered my 6+ Space Grey 16GB online...I am going to try out the store on Friday to see if I can get one that way faster though I used to live in a more remote area and Verizon was great there with the i5 and LTE but now that I am moving to a much bigger city Sprint service really won't be a problem at all and I'm excited for UNLIMITED data planMy preorder happened when Apple webservers were crashing at the iPhone5 pre-order extravaganza at 3am EST or whenever I stayed online all night to be able to order and couldn't get the damn site to load after refreshing for hours until finally I got through the checkout of the preorder. On the Walgreens process, while I agree donation prompts are annoying as is application selection (credit/debit) I find it shocking how many people online complain about having to confirm the total!64GB SG & 64GB GOLD ordered in store 9/22 Shipping window 10/30-11/10 GOLD shipped 11/11 out of Fort Worth no emails received from AT&T only one order traceable online (although both shown) online chat didn't work on Safari phone call at 3pm 11/11 rep says gold shipped SG pending GOLD shipped at 3:45 pm phone call to at&t was only way i can find status of SG phone they said a shipment of SG iPhones is expected from China in 2-3 days that the AT&T website is not perfect is not excusable considering their pocket books BE PATIENT FRIENDS - yours, too, will come no need to get yourselves upset or use unkind language towards hapless dronesI personally think it sucks because it's become pretty unpleasant to converse about Apple stuff online as you are met with persistent and often brutal negativity.Worst comes to worst I'm gonna buy one online but there very $$$After trying in vain to use AT&T Next (not allowed online in NY), I upgraded the wrong line (3am, tired, chose the wrong line).****** i highly suggest one card for express check out in app as the system gets really buggy + slow the more clicks you need to do, if any way to use one card i would try.....they state a gift card issued by credit card co but given the wording i would assume that it would be ok for two credit cards i know a lot of online merchants like the top dept stores will only allow one credit card but mutiple store gift cards, you may want to send a quick note under a different email just to confirm as apple is quite strict.... in worse case you could get the gift card from one of the credit cards and that will def work, good luck! The more people buy Apple products, the more people get those defective products, the more people talk about it online, and the more people have those occasional bad experiences with Apple Store employees.I would be scared to apply the infamous eagerly awaited software fix agreed much better to buy online and not have to deal with a so called genius.
launch
I am beyond sure as apps get optimized and iOS gets further updated and streamlined, the Plus is more then capable of running at 60 fps constant no lag, iOS 8 is defitnetly rushed out the door a bit...but it is also the biggest iOS update ever with over 4000 new API's ...i am sure they will fix performance and that stuttering, and also all app submissions by February 2015 need to be 64 bit capable, that alone right there switching the app from 32-bit to 64-bit gives a 10% performance increase right off the bat from the use of extra registers of the CPU(so next year we will get very nice performance gains as apps start getting 64 bit capable) Anyways going off topic a bit lol, but I agree the Plus is defitnetly the first iPhone at launch that wasn't 100% perfectly smooth with those options turned off(stock) A little bit suprising but, by no means is it slow in apps or performance wise at all, it is a very fast phone in operation, just animation stutters and sputters and tab reloadingThis, this website is superb and it helped me find a 6 Plus 64 Gb in stock right at my local Apple store, I got the 4.7 inch 6 on Launch date, and I had it for about a month, I loved it but the Plus was looking so luring and amazing once I got to play with it a few times, I was so sure at first I didnt ever want the Plus, but then I started envying it, and then My brother ended up buying this Plus at Apple and we traded my 4.7 inch i6 with Applecare + on it for a 64 gb 6 plus for me, and I honestly couldnt be anymore satisfied and happy with this, I am beyond happy I got the plus, I love this thing and Im already use to the size, the thinness of the device is truly what makes this phablet actually very tolerable imo and its very slim in the pocket, The bigger screen alongside with the stupendously good battery life alone is beyond worth it and also OIS, All other phones just feel tiny now to me hah, TLDR: switched from a 6 (never thought id get a phablet) to a Plus and i am beyond in love with this thing and i am beyond satisifed and happy i went from the 6 to the 6 PlusI have been experiencing something similar though not as bad as what you described plus touch ID fails most of the time, i'm not mad, that's what happens when you buy products on launch day.I really thought I'd at least be giving it a chance down the road (you can see my previous posts from before the launch when we didn't know we'd be getting both at the same time) but the 6 is pretty damn perfect so coupled with the +'s issues I no longer feel the need.Glad I got my Space Gray launch day from Apple IMO, the gold 6+ is hideous but the gold 6 is actually really nice.Yeah, before the launch everyone was pretty excited and happy and soon as the unbox therapy guy made that bend video everything went to hell in here big time.Funny enough, I had a space grey 6 plus on launch day........kept it for 4 days then returned it, loved it but found it to cumbersome when outside......used a friends 6 for a day........ Decided to order the 6 plus again! So I got my 2 year contract phone delivered, and waited a few days til the launch dust settled, then went into an Apple store, staked out a friendly, smart looking employee and said I wanted to return my phone, then have them sell it right back to me on the Next plan. What they did is really dishonest, as I don't think they ever had any intention of making their customers happy on launch day.Go to Apple store and demand they open up all of their launch day stock in front of me until I find the perfect phone that suits my perfect existence.I even got one reserved for launch date but had a bad feeling about it and reordered (when I checked my reservation that afternoon it was the wrong iphone so I'm glad I reordered).I'm ok if people want to wait, perhaps the perfect batch is the one on September next year The more people who wait for the perfect batch the better chances for me to score a launch day phoneI have heard that Verizon Stores are not that bad on iPhone launch days but I anticipate this one being kind of crazier than the last few years. The so called compelling evidence could just be the case that Apple have told manufacturers that this option exists now to get headphones on the market for the launch and isnt compelling at all that they are dumping the normal jack.My home button feels very solid and no strange angles when depressed which I noticed all the phones in the apple store had this issue on launch month. My launch space grey is perfect, and I mean PERFECT.I was one of the 'lucky' few that got a 64GB Silver on the morning of launch ('lucky' in quotes because my son and I were first in line at our local Apple store, getting in line around 2:30 pm Thursday).I got lucky with iPad 3 and now my iPhone 5, both good and neutral white (both were pre-ordered and received on launch day) If it looks the same as a plain white sheet of paper I'm happy, that's the extent of my "testing".I got my 6 on launch day and 2 days ago my husband upgraded from his 5s - he got the plus for me and I gave him my regular six The 6 plus has a beautiful big screen but it was not pocketable and is too big to carry and use IMO- I love to bar hop with my husband and attending Niners and Giants games without a purse so it didn't work for me I saw two ladies using their pluses and they looked frustrated trying to stand type and hold the plus however my sister loves hers - even named it the gold finger lol I ended up taking it back and getting him a regular 6.I've had my 6+ since launch day, Sep. 19, and I was nervous when I pre-ordered at 3 am, I was nervous when I saw all of that money leave my account, and I was nervous when I saw the huge box.On launch day when I was standing in line a girl next to me was telling me how lousy the camera in her Galaxy was and was showing me pics on her phone that she was unhappy with because they had bad color or came out blurred.I originally purchased a 6 (got it on launch day) and I thought I was happy with it, but seeing the demo models of the 6+ made me a little jealous of the big screen.I love iPhone launch time but at the same time it's so stressful and I am extremely impatient. It's funny - I have come to know Apple as a tech company with a good track record on many issues, but the one thing where Apple is not just good, great or amazing but absolutely perfect is getting things delivered to customers on the launch date. She did confirm that reps were sent an email stating they cannot offer expedited shipping on the phone so those of you who got it are lucky but I would not want to risk my order getting canceled just to expedite shipping from China which we all know it takes a few days anyways So while I wasn't happy having to wait October 1-6 because I've always got my orders through and received them on launch day this, is not a dealbreaker for me that I have to wait, it just makes the anticipation far more greater to receive my new phone. After two years of sheer complacency, this launch will sure to be fraught with lots of problems and angry buyers. The antenna bands were ugly before the launch, and they're ugly still.I currently have a Galaxy S5, so I'm in no eager rush to buy one on launch, I'll just wait until the mad panic to get one on launch is out of the way first. If the phablet hasn't developed into a great device by the launch for iPhone 6, I don't think they will jeopardize the iPhone 6 hype by releasing a mediocre phablet. They will mostly likely do both, launch app and have it float in the middle of the screen with black bars surrounding and then a stretch to fill screen option like the iPad, honestly the stretch wouldn't look bad since when the iPad did it to the 3.5 inch iPhone apps it still looked ok, I doubt a .7inch increase would be horrible.Mine is a launch 5s and it was working perfectly (with a rare miss here and there, but not a big deal at all, I'd say 98% of the time it was fine)... we flew from RDU out to SJC a couple of weeks ago, and my touch sensor got worse and worse for the week and a half we were there.thank you CycleCount: 522 DesignCapacity: 1430 FullChargeCapacity: 1208 Status: Success BatteryCurrentCapacity: 62 BatteryIsCharging: true ExternalChargeCapable: false ExternalConnected: true FullyCharged: false GasGaugeCapability: true launch day ip5
wait
Pretty nice device - let's see if it was worth the wait...Trust me, it's worth the wait, this phone is amazing.I'm pretty impatient but my phone came sooner than expected and it was worth the wait.Well my friends, the agony finally ended around 5pm....my phone is here, and it is BEAUTIFUL ... good luck to everyone, and hang in there, its most definitely worth the wait! Its well worth the wait, and glad I got to spend the last 6 weeks with all of you!The phone is awesome and worth the wait.It is a beautiful phone, and well worth the wait for anyone.I didn't feel like the 5/5S was a worthwhile upgrade, and decided the iPhone 6 Plus would be worth the wait.It is a beautiful phone and worth the wait! It's nice and worth the wait, I think being trapped in the house ALL DAYiPhone 6+ Gold 128GB on Verizon So worth the wait man, this thing is beautiful.I'll still just be as happy, at the end of the day, stuff happens...the only thing you can do is get something (from ATT) to make it worth the wait.I think it must have taken me around 2 minutes to go through the whole process Delivering 9/19 I have been refreshing the Apple Store site for at least two hours (you never know - maybe the website could come up before the official start) and in the last hour I have been refreshing every 30 seconds... At least it was worth the wait..Two minutes after I ordered I saw that the delivery times started going north...Released same time as smaller model would be ideal, small delay will be worth the wait.Got my phone finally in market mall..not too bad a wait..about an hour they had separate lines for unlocked and contract..i got the 16G unlocked one.. Called in Rogers and gave my frustration on why i should pay 399 for iphone4..they couldn't do anything about iphone price as i got my last upgrade last fall..but did get about $40 discount on my monthly bill..wasn't bad i thought..This thread is hilarious and made the wait much more tolerable.Great phone, but some of the novelty has worn off so the wait won't be terrible.Same here, damn, the wait is so frustrating...I have to say I was frustrated by the wait in ZhengZhou but today I am amazed at the speed of UPS.WOW that's great....no wait, AMAZING news!
friday
I spent a few days last week watching craigslist last week and bought a sealed iPhone 6 Plus 64GB Gray last Friday for $725.00 - Activated, went to Apple store grabbed a leather case and an extra lighting cable for use with an old iPad charger for use as my travel charger (Supposedly it charges faster with the bigger iPad charger) Anyway, if you're tired of waiting or don't want to be stuck in a contract paying way over full price for a phone, this is a great alternative.Just happy it's coming, I do have to pick up some kind of case today though..the one I ordered from Amazon shipped Friday but arriving Oct 8!My wife's 6 came in last Friday and though it looks nice, I'm glad I got the 6+.With only a day left, I'm a little bit worried, but seeing that the delivery date is still for 9/19 and I ordered Friday when it first became available, I'm not too worried. The phone is going to be awesome if I get it Friday, but it is going to be equally awesome if I get itearly/mid october.I am not only worried about my phone showing up Friday, but I am worried because I need to grab one for my wife and son at the store Friday morning.Cool great awesome more than likely you still won't receive your phone until Friday lol.I am excited for the iPhone for life plan they launched and ordered my 6+ Space Grey 16GB online...I am going to try out the store on Friday to see if I can get one that way faster though I used to live in a more remote area and Verizon was great there with the i5 and LTE but now that I am moving to a much bigger city Sprint service really won't be a problem at all and I'm excited for UNLIMITED data planFor what it's worth, the very kind rep I called on Friday told me that it was too late to upgrade my order to expedited shipping.thats wonderful for you glad they didnt do that for everyone at the att store i went to on friday. That would be great for me, I'll be home around 5:15 give or take so if he is late and comes after that time I would be happy and would save me a trip to ups on friday night.I'm glad to know that you'd like to assist me in setting up my new phone that doesn't get here until Friday and I'm glad you sent this email on MONDAY!!I had preordered mine and have already received it but if I hadn't been lucky enough to get through the horrid preordering system (Apple & AT&T kept crashing), then I would've lined up Friday morning & would've probably experienced the same disappointment.I will definitely be jealous on Friday when my coworkers are playing with their new phones, but I'll survive ;-) I used the much improved Siri on iOS 8 to type this, so hopefully there aren't too many weird mistakes in this post!If you think things are bad, it's only going to get "worse" each day until Friday.Worse comes to worse, I'll accept delivery next Friday then go to a store and hopefully find a Plus.I know I can order and get it delivered next Friday but I kind of want to experience the waiting in line thing as dumb as it may be.Well, I'm really sad to say that my iPhone 5s 64GB got stolen last Friday and it has been an extremely upsetting moment for me.The strange thing is that is I switched the phone off then on again it would all work ok, I noticed this on Friday and over the weekend, I called Apple Support who did not have a clue about what to do, strange that it has been fine yesterday and today.Wow that is just nuts that you say that, I have been getting weird dizzy spells since Friday.

pre-order
IF you get lucky, the blue shirt will go to his/her manager and speak about it... the manager will then come over to you and say, yes we can cancel the 2 year contract and you'll have to wait for your upgrade eligibility to kick back in, which generally takes 5-10 mins... if you cancelled twice, you're SOL as it locks the upgrade and you'll have to call AT&T and they'll have to call some other to have it restored which will take 3-5 business days... to avoid that, if you're on a family plan, I'd suggest you pre-order with another line thats not looking to upgrade right away... that way your upgrade is available right away and theres no waiting around... if you're the only line, I'd suggest you log into your AT&T mobile app and keep refreshing the upgrade eligibility page until you see it kick in... once they cancel the 2 year contract, theres an option for the NEXT or you can purchase the phone "device only" which means you pay for the phone completely, right there... again, I've experienced stores where they will flat out tell you they cant do such a thing, blah blah blah, cancelling will put the phone back into their online pre-order batch, which is BS... you just need to get lucky and have a blue shirt willing to do it for you...I am glad that people are getting lucky and finding one in stock, but this whole pre-order thing is over for me.Great photo - genuinely gives someone like me a better reference (I can fit my 8 year old daughter's gloves).. Not sure when I'll next be able to get near a store to see one - at this rate my pre-order mid October will show up before I get there! Now I kind of figure that despite getting an order through less than 25 mins after the pre-order was SUPPOSED to start(no matter that some were able to get through early, most of us were refreshing early like you, so please don't act like you had one over on us), since I haven't even gotten the "you're screwed we have no idea when you will get a phone" email, there is no end in sight.I'm feeling very content and grateful (and excited) considering I accidentally fell back asleep when I was supposed to be getting ready for the pre-order but luckily woke up 3 hours later and got lucky enough to get 7-10 days on the 6+ 64GB with T-Mobile.I'm really not terribly pleased with how this whole pre-order process has gone (from the late arrival compared to others who ordered after me, to the UPS shipping delays, and finally to the invalid delivery dates I have been quoted from both Apple and UPS).I don't have it yet, I do have placed a pre-order though, and the only thing I'm really 'worried' about is whether or not it will actually fit in my pants (front).Still p r o c e s s i s i n g Well I guess I'm not lucky Ordered at 2:44, 2:44 hours after the original pre-order time My 6P 128 Gold is still processing Let's hope for tomorrow I hope I won't be extremely unlucky that my order will stick as processing without charging me until mondayI tried my luck and waited for 45 minutes the agent i got was pretty cool but he told there was nothing he can do about it and that all orders are getting expedited, i don't know if its true but he told me that he have received a lot of calls about from people with shipping dates November + including himself; anyway if i can get 6 plus locally at a fair price i might bite and cancel the pre-order, the sad part is my first order got cancel with a "nice" 7-10 days shipping but my new one is 3-4 weeks lol.
days
I got a 6+ two days ago, it has a very nice even cool display just a gorgeous screen ,compared to my brother's which has a yellowish warm display.I spent a few days last week watching craigslist last week and bought a sealed iPhone 6 Plus 64GB Gray last Friday for $725.00 - Activated, went to Apple store grabbed a leather case and an extra lighting cable for use with an old iPad charger for use as my travel charger (Supposedly it charges faster with the bigger iPad charger) Anyway, if you're tired of waiting or don't want to be stuck in a contract paying way over full price for a phone, this is a great alternative.IF you get lucky, the blue shirt will go to his/her manager and speak about it... the manager will then come over to you and say, yes we can cancel the 2 year contract and you'll have to wait for your upgrade eligibility to kick back in, which generally takes 5-10 mins... if you cancelled twice, you're SOL as it locks the upgrade and you'll have to call AT&T and they'll have to call some other to have it restored which will take 3-5 business days... to avoid that, if you're on a family plan, I'd suggest you pre-order with another line thats not looking to upgrade right away... that way your upgrade is available right away and theres no waiting around... if you're the only line, I'd suggest you log into your AT&T mobile app and keep refreshing the upgrade eligibility page until you see it kick in... once they cancel the 2 year contract, theres an option for the NEXT or you can purchase the phone "device only" which means you pay for the phone completely, right there... again, I've experienced stores where they will flat out tell you they cant do such a thing, blah blah blah, cancelling will put the phone back into their online pre-order batch, which is BS... you just need to get lucky and have a blue shirt willing to do it for you...I'm now very very happy with my 2nd replacement unit which is doing absolutely fine and shows no signs of any bending after 2 1/2 weeks (with the exact same kind of usage that the former iPhone bent under after just 2 days).I agree those plus battery screenshots do make me a bit jealous but I can't drain the 6 before I have gone to bed, so sure 2 days would be sweet but as long as I dont have to charge in a 24 hour day I am happySo, i can 100% assure you that even tho, istocknow is a GREAT tool to find iphones in this days, There are two complete different stocks for both kind of customers, the ones buying iphones online, and the ones that prefers to walk into the Apple Store.Feels great, battery can go for 2 days, takes great pictures, and the screen is awesome.I used my iphone 6 for 12 days before i returned it and went for a 6plus now here are the differences:- iPhone 6 Pros One handed use light and pocketable Cons to be honest except for the design there wasnt any difference btw 5s and 6.. battery life was almost the same n so was the display iPhone 6 plus my experience:- as i have used LG g3 and Note 3 going for a phablet wasnt a big deal for me..but to be honest this thing is big and not that much easy to carry around in your pockets but two things made me just fall in love with this beauty 1st its bigger and FULL HD display [on iphone 6 i can easily see jaggered lines on the text n Fonts but here on iphone 6 plus everything is smooth n crystal clear] second man o man the battery life is awesome and superb.. to be honest iPhone 6 plus is the real upgrade for this generation while 6 is jus OKFunny enough, I had a space grey 6 plus on launch day........kept it for 4 days then returned it, loved it but found it to cumbersome when outside......used a friends 6 for a day........ Decided to order the 6 plus again! If you travel and much as I do (internationally 300 days a year) then moving through airports etc with bags in tow, catching up on work emails etc, one handed use is a must.. Having said that I now have a 6plus as a big screen is also great when working like this.So I got my 2 year contract phone delivered, and waited a few days til the launch dust settled, then went into an Apple store, staked out a friendly, smart looking employee and said I wanted to return my phone, then have them sell it right back to me on the Next plan.I remember 3 days ago I was happy, excited.I posted my pics/video because I'm pissed that this beautiful, amazing phone bent in the pocket of my shorts in three days with nothing extraordinary going on.I am really not angry at anyone...the simple fact that millions of phones can be shipped from the other side of the world in a matter of days is amazing in and of itself.Perfect size to be honest for me now after having the phone 3 days now.8 planes landed this morning to last night....people will get phones with the next 3 days..yet they are impatient...... i got tracking yesterday, and never wavered on cancelling...if they said phones were preordered on 12th and wouldn't ship to next week we wouldn't have any problem waiting, BUT bc others have gotten theres people are flipping out...... Note- i don't have mine yet either, ...i finally got shipping yesterday...i was frustrated too, but i understood, in due time it will work out....Pre-ordered 6+ 64GB SG @ 1.46am CDT on 9/12 Estimated delivery 10/2 - 10/13 My AT&T site reads 'pending shipment' Cancel button on premier site reappeared 3-4 days ago No sign of any shipment or tracking number Happy for others seeing some progress ... just wish I could see some kind of update! What I really find amazing is, aside from AT&T blowing us off and telling us we're liars when we bring this to their attention, you can actually google articles that websites are writing about AT&T and how they started shipping the 6 Plus early with delivery dates set for today: So I guess those people were lying too in addition to everyone here lucky enough to be able to post screenshots the last few days with positive reports. You are better off going directly with Verizon to avoid things of that nature (unless you are truly getting some sort of an amazing deal from the reseller that would make the extra conditions they have worthwhile for you, or if you perhaps don't care about those conditions if you were let's say planning to keep the phone on the line for a few years anyway and more than 180 days).6 plus to big esp if you gym it which i do 3 times a week then run 3 days a week on off days as one member said, number two can barely fit in my pocket and just big overall 4.7 seems perfect.i thought the htc one m8 i had was big but jesus christI'm feeling very content and grateful (and excited) considering I accidentally fell back asleep when I was supposed to be getting ready for the pre-order but luckily woke up 3 hours later and got lucky enough to get 7-10 days on the 6+ 64GB with T-Mobile.There are people who will wait on line for 10 days to get tickets to a music festival or fly cross-country to attend a road football game, not sure what's so shocking about a tech fan wanting the latest and greatest shipped to his home as soon as possible.I have heard that Verizon Stores are not that bad on iPhone launch days but I anticipate this one being kind of crazier than the last few years.Apple Maps was flawless in Sicily, we drove for several days, got it right each time and we were utterly amazed that even tiny dirt roads that maybe three people a day drive were accurately represented. The cable worked 4 days so I bought a cheap cable (It wasn't actually cheap. The guy at verizon a few days ago said that during week days I probably don't need an appointment...so I just walked in and the nice apple guy helped me out by checking me in and within 10 minutes another great guy came over to help me!That was extremely handy at the time because I was using a 1995 Performa 6116 to log on to the internet & it was so brutally slow it took like three days for MaBell & similar sites to load, so I was glad to be able to pay all bills straight from PP's site. However, 60 days later I picked up the 5S because it just seemed like more of a powerhouse and, to be honest, the thumbprint unlock (which I was totally against at first) has become my favorite upgrade item.Keep you inform about any drift during next days ..... Nice Name: iPhone 5s Family name: Group1: iPhone Group2: Generation: CPU speed: 1.3GHz Screen size: 4 inch Screen resolution: 1136x640 pixels Colour: Space Gray Production year: 2013 Production week: 35 (September) Model introduced: 2013 Capacity: 64GB Memory - flavour: xx Factory: DN (China, Chengdu - Foxconn) Nice Name: iPhone 5s Family name: Group1: iPhone Group2: Generation: CPU speed: 1.3GHz Screen size: 4 inch Screen resolution: 1136x640 pixels Colour: Space Gray Production year: 2013 Production week: 38 (September) Model introduced: 2013 Capacity: 64GB Memory - flavour: xx Factory: C3 (China)i am 6'5 and i too have tried the samsung note 2 with the bigger screen and for the first couple of days it was weird but after that i was use to the size and feel i do agree that would be ideal for them to release 2 differnt size screens but i do not think i would want a screen size as big as the note as it makes it very uncomfortable in the pants- running IOS 6 - really great battery life, more than a days worth.LTE in Chicago, IL near Downtown on this plan :-) I have done half a dozen speed tests, over 500 emails this month, messaging, google maps GPS navigation on probably 200-300miles worth, few hours of pandora streaming and I've used 1.2GB of data this month....still got 8 more days and 800MB remaining, this plan is great! It's hilarious how Sprint and TMo users are constantly banging on about their great HSPA/EVDO speeds and are in complete denial that LTE exists these days.I got my 6 on launch day and 2 days ago my husband upgraded from his 5s - he got the plus for me and I gave him my regular six The 6 plus has a beautiful big screen but it was not pocketable and is too big to carry and use IMO- I love to bar hop with my husband and attending Niners and Giants games without a purse so it didn't work for me I saw two ladies using their pluses and they looked frustrated trying to stand type and hold the plus however my sister loves hers - even named it the gold finger lol I ended up taking it back and getting him a regular 6.It is a great phone but after a couple of days I could not use it anymore because of a strange reason: pain in my eyes after max. This is obvious that no smart phone is worth for 3 days (even 2) with one full charge.64GB SG & 64GB GOLD ordered in store 9/22 Shipping window 10/30-11/10 GOLD shipped 11/11 out of Fort Worth no emails received from AT&T only one order traceable online (although both shown) online chat didn't work on Safari phone call at 3pm 11/11 rep says gold shipped SG pending GOLD shipped at 3:45 pm phone call to at&t was only way i can find status of SG phone they said a shipment of SG iPhones is expected from China in 2-3 days that the AT&T website is not perfect is not excusable considering their pocket books BE PATIENT FRIENDS - yours, too, will come no need to get yourselves upset or use unkind language towards hapless dronesFor some reason I always think its really sad when I see such a beautifully designed device that is as large as a tablet/phablet but only 16GB...your going to be constantly clearing room....do yourself a favor because in the long run it will help and you might regret it far after the 14 or 30 days you get it...so many people I know regret getting the 16GB model....I feel almost bad!I remember I was at the genius bar 3 days in a row for about 3 hours when my old MacBook Pro broke, I felt so bad because it was the same genius bar girl, she was super nice but I was about to go offer her something to eat on me (especially since the repair ended up costing nothing).I simply asked a question and now I'm getting **** on for doing so for one I'm not a troll and my canadian sense of humor is just fine, this is the worst forum I've ever been on just awful mean ppl on here now a days!!!!!Damn ATT even went cheap with my delivery they used UPS ground 3-5 days.If after you have tried A. wipe and restore B. wipe and set up as a new iPhone C. LOADED very little apps (after you did B) for a few days to make sure one of your favorite apps is not causing the issue (due to it not being happy with the OS or the developer screwed up, they are human).I was told to setup as new, which I've already tried Interesting thing though - he said that these apps are having problems, so I am going to try a fresh restore again, downloading the firmware again as well, as he seems to think it is corrupt (the firmware): backboardd, com.apple.WebKit, SpringBoard From my jailbreaking days, I know that backboardd is an integral daemon that runs along side springboard, which is also corrupt, per the tech Will restore as new tonight and report back tomorrow afternoon Let us know what they say!If you take into account that there are some fake answers on one end; also take into account that there are fake answers on the other side - Second, I don't think the problem is "the phone will bend in your pocket in your first couple of days of use", but "the phone will eventually bend in your pocket".After 4 days of waiting for Apple to activate it (see my other thread, 'AT&T can't verify my identity'), my luck keeps getting worse & worse.I'm afraid of it getting worse after my 14 days. Those complaining about horrible battery life need to wait a couple days, especially if you see the message that its still restoring Those claiming the have super duper awesome battery life are either not using their phone or are FOS.The bad thing is I've been sick for a couple days and have been napping on my couch, but since I can see the road and parking areas right in front of my living room windows, every time I start to doze I hear something and am gawking out the window thus thoroughly destroying my nap, which is making me feel worse from my sickies. This goes to about 50% of all the crap ive read on here the last few days.....pretty pathetic grown adults come in here to try to make other people feel crappy about a dumb phone purchase decision. She did confirm that reps were sent an email stating they cannot offer expedited shipping on the phone so those of you who got it are lucky but I would not want to risk my order getting canceled just to expedite shipping from China which we all know it takes a few days anyways So while I wasn't happy having to wait October 1-6 because I've always got my orders through and received them on launch day this, is not a dealbreaker for me that I have to wait, it just makes the anticipation far more greater to receive my new phone.I tried my luck and waited for 45 minutes the agent i got was pretty cool but he told there was nothing he can do about it and that all orders are getting expedited, i don't know if its true but he told me that he have received a lot of calls about from people with shipping dates November + including himself; anyway if i can get 6 plus locally at a fair price i might bite and cancel the pre-order, the sad part is my first order got cancel with a "nice" 7-10 days shipping but my new one is 3-4 weeks lol.RAM is very cheap these days, so just cost is not a great reason. Most stores here in Canada have bad customer service these days or horrible pre sale assistance. If I did the next program it would be 35/month, yeah that 10 bucks is worth the convenience of not having to go through what can be an incredibly annoying crapshoot of selling a cell phone these days.I asked Siri to open safari a few days ago and it asked me if u want to search the web for something inappropriate even though I just said "Siri, can you please open Safari" I was a bit offended by that...Siri is really annoying and never understandsWeird problem that just developed a few days ago with no conceivable trigger.I have a family member wanting a 5c/s and I have seen a few on craigslist the past couple days for $300-325 and I am assuming they have a bad esn, I remember reading that the iphone 5 on verizon would work on att/tmobile but wasnt sure if it would if it had a bad esn for Verizonand if they approve they can do swap, so hopefully they can help... Again, I know i had 14 days but it didn't affect me at the time bad enough, its go ten worse over time and yes I know it sounds so silly cause if you don't experience it you have no real understanding and trolls these days do kinda ruin it for legit problemsIt is no different during those good old days just few years ago before Apple revolutionized the industry when majority of the Americans were contented with their ugly dumb flip-phones.
preorder
My preorder happened when Apple webservers were crashing at the iPhone5 pre-order extravaganza at 3am EST or whenever I stayed online all night to be able to order and couldn't get the damn site to load after refreshing for hours until finally I got through the checkout of the preorder.Yeah it's extremely frustrating, it's the worst preorder experience I've ever had with Apple.Which means until this gets resolved no new iPhone for me very sad and just disappointed with this whole preorder experience.Just sent this email to the address that was suggested earlier....couldnt be more disappointed in AT&T right now: Good morning Mr. Stephenson, First off let me start by telling you how utterly disappointed I am in the preorder process for the iphone 6 plus.No one will really be there until like 2 anyways so it shouldn't be so bad I just wanna make sure I get the phone my gf hates Me right now cause I won't shutup about my preorder being screwed up and don't want her hearing about it for 3 weeks plus I'm impatientI'm used to pre-orders where the production release is 6 months after the product annoucement, and the order window is small so they can build to what the preorder was... Im not saying that necessarily is desirable, but it really would help lessen some of the madness that is this "omg its next week" and the logistics that are involved and the insane it sells out in 1 minute stuff... received both my confirmation of processing and an email for the other reservation from when ATT couldnt verify...

morning
Am glad to hear, I was excited about mine getting shipped this morning but at the same time feeling guilty no one else seemed to beDear A Team members : Dear A Team, good morning! We have an NC specific thread going and I was #1 in line at the Friendly Center store and talked to the employee that stepped outside 30 minutes prior to store opening to take walk-in reservations and another member of the NC thread was at the Crabtree store at the same time I was at the Friendly store and we compared stock reports from employees that morning.I'm hoping to get lucky tomorrow morning at the Friendly Center Apple Store.8 planes landed this morning to last night....people will get phones with the next 3 days..yet they are impatient...... i got tracking yesterday, and never wavered on cancelling...if they said phones were preordered on 12th and wouldn't ship to next week we wouldn't have any problem waiting, BUT bc others have gotten theres people are flipping out...... Note- i don't have mine yet either, ...i finally got shipping yesterday...i was frustrated too, but i understood, in due time it will work out....As excited as I was to get my 6 Plus this morning, I have to say that after a day of using it, I'm a little disappointed I didn't go with the 6.Nice intelligent woman said an internal memo released this morning stated that very fact.I am not only worried about my phone showing up Friday, but I am worried because I need to grab one for my wife and son at the store Friday morning. She apologized profusely for me not getting my phone right away, and I kind of hemmed and hawed about them not being able to expedite the shipping without getting mean or being rude (she really was a very nice young lady; I have no idea how she sounded so enthusiastic this early in the morning), and then she finally said "But you know what I could do..." and offered me a free leather case.No thank u - verizon is where I will be - my main reason for moving was pricing - Tamara made that a non issue I am happy it is over - checked the Att acct this morning and it is with a zero balance and closed - and it will remain that wayJust got a 5s space gray 32 this morning ~ Nice phone - and happy to have an iPhone again (and a black phone).I was one of the 'lucky' few that got a 64GB Silver on the morning of launch ('lucky' in quotes because my son and I were first in line at our local Apple store, getting in line around 2:30 pm Thursday).I am really glad to wake up this morning and see the US have officially shipped, that's great news!I have Beta 3 on my 4S in the UK and it's brilliant, it's very usable and HE has a bit of a attitude, I listen to music whilst on the train / walking to/from work and when I asked him the time this morning he said "The time sponsored is 08:15 am, beep" haha quite impressive.Yes, no one get too excited about shipping, I received the emails/texts for my gold on the 4th, tracking didn't show up until yesterday, and then the news was only that an electronic shipping label had been created, it finally departed Memphis this morning with an expected delivery of THURSDAY, and I literally live a mere 4 hours from there!!!I had preordered mine and have already received it but if I hadn't been lucky enough to get through the horrid preordering system (Apple & AT&T kept crashing), then I would've lined up Friday morning & would've probably experienced the same disappointment.Just sent this email to the address that was suggested earlier....couldnt be more disappointed in AT&T right now: Good morning Mr. Stephenson, First off let me start by telling you how utterly disappointed I am in the preorder process for the iphone 6 plus. There will be some super disappointed people on this thread come tonight and tomm morning, target screwed me so bad last yearHey guys, I got my new iPhone 5 yesterday (switched from blackberry and i'm soo happy) but the battery life isn't all that great.I'm running on 6.1.2 If I leave home at 7:00 in the morning, it will only last me to 3 in the afternoon.
delivery
The nice lady started an investigation into my order and was kind enough to change the delivery from Ground Delivery to Expedited Delivery.Getting excited now Lol play COD till you see that beautiful delivery truck pull upI asked if Apple could do anything for me to make me happy about this mess and was told (with a bit of an attitude) I should be happy that my delivery window of 10/19-10/30 had been updated to 10/6.This site is driving me crazy I can't keep coming here and obsessing on WHEN WILL I GET MY PHONE I'm not getting a damn thing done On the bright side I do have a fancy new iPhone 6 Plus CASE I can carry around and fantasize about what it might be like to carry around a real phone Maybe I should just go get a big 'ol magnifying glass to make my 5s look bigger in the mean time Oh and my wife - she thinks we all are crazy tracking every baby step our phones are taking from conception to delivery out the birth canal We are by the way .UPS is doing such a great job....A great job at manipulating delivery data!!I'm kind of amazed at how ridiculous this delivery situation is getting.I may just be impatient, I'm not sure, but after seeing strange things like the delivery date go from 10/1 to 10/2 to 10/3.Yep you are lucky, funny thing is that on the tracking it still shows on time with delivery by EOD today lol...I'm not so sure about the delivery dates moving for the 6+ models, since most people whom delivery dates that are moving forward are the ones who've ordered the iPhone 6.Pre-ordered 6+ 64GB SG @ 1.46am CDT on 9/12 Estimated delivery 10/2 - 10/13 My AT&T site reads 'pending shipment' Cancel button on premier site reappeared 3-4 days ago No sign of any shipment or tracking number Happy for others seeing some progress ... just wish I could see some kind of update!Im hopeful too...that would be great....I was scheduled for October 1st to 6th delivery...was happy when it moved to the 25th....Monday would be awesome! What I really find amazing is, aside from AT&T blowing us off and telling us we're liars when we bring this to their attention, you can actually google articles that websites are writing about AT&T and how they started shipping the 6 Plus early with delivery dates set for today: So I guess those people were lying too in addition to everyone here lucky enough to be able to post screenshots the last few days with positive reports.my productivity this week has dropped dramatically...cant stop refreshing the order page and check ups for my 6+ i'm grateful that my 6 is already on its way for 9/19 delivery.... but I'm desperate to get hold of the 6+ too. With only a day left, I'm a little bit worried, but seeing that the delivery date is still for 9/19 and I ordered Friday when it first became available, I'm not too worried.Faster delivery, amazing customer service, trustworthyI think it must have taken me around 2 minutes to go through the whole process Delivering 9/19 I have been refreshing the Apple Store site for at least two hours (you never know - maybe the website could come up before the official start) and in the last hour I have been refreshing every 30 seconds... At least it was worth the wait..Two minutes after I ordered I saw that the delivery times started going north...Got my Delivery Time: Wednesday, 09/25/2013, By End of Day Not terrible, was hoping for tuesday, some lucky jerks have confirmations for today, but I can't complain.I got my letter from Apple that "my items should ship between oct 20-27" That is right on track for my delivery estimate of Oct28-Nov4 Unlocked sg+128 9/29 Apple is dumb for making only one black front faced phone and two white............ most of us use cases and you never see the gold..sg..silver... but you see the front and most people want black except for girls and impatient people because its the only phone that might be in stock near you... rant over...Damn ATT even went cheap with my delivery they used UPS ground 3-5 days.Yes, no one get too excited about shipping, I received the emails/texts for my gold on the 4th, tracking didn't show up until yesterday, and then the news was only that an electronic shipping label had been created, it finally departed Memphis this morning with an expected delivery of THURSDAY, and I literally live a mere 4 hours from there!!!I have a delivery exception due to bad weather, delivery has been rescheduled for tomorrow... Let's hope it doesn't get worse.I'm really not terribly pleased with how this whole pre-order process has gone (from the late arrival compared to others who ordered after me, to the UPS shipping delays, and finally to the invalid delivery dates I have been quoted from both Apple and UPS).I wasnt expecting an early delivery, would have been nice, but I will just be happy if it actually gets delivered on the 25th, the day I asked to take off of work to be home for the package.Meanwhile, I sit here drunk and sad and checking my delivery status every 26 seconds.FFS, im sitting here next to my front door waiting for my UPS 6 Plus delivery, which could come anytime from 9am-7pm, and now I have to deal with dorks from the forums complaining that their iPhones are horribly defective and atrocious.I'm nervous about clicking that: afraid I'll mess up my delivery.Worse comes to worse, I'll accept delivery next Friday then go to a store and hopefully find a Plus.

website
I went into settings, safari (my phone browser), selected advanced, then website data, then remove all website data (at the bottom) and the discs went away, I don't think I lost any of my saved passwords or anything that I wanted to keep probably just cached pages to help sites load faster, but the discs annoyed me so I was happy they went away. This, this website is superb and it helped me find a 6 Plus 64 Gb in stock right at my local Apple store, I got the 4.7 inch 6 on Launch date, and I had it for about a month, I loved it but the Plus was looking so luring and amazing once I got to play with it a few times, I was so sure at first I didnt ever want the Plus, but then I started envying it, and then My brother ended up buying this Plus at Apple and we traded my 4.7 inch i6 with Applecare + on it for a 64 gb 6 plus for me, and I honestly couldnt be anymore satisfied and happy with this, I am beyond happy I got the plus, I love this thing and Im already use to the size, the thinness of the device is truly what makes this phablet actually very tolerable imo and its very slim in the pocket, The bigger screen alongside with the stupendously good battery life alone is beyond worth it and also OIS, All other phones just feel tiny now to me hah, TLDR: switched from a 6 (never thought id get a phablet) to a Plus and i am beyond in love with this thing and i am beyond satisifed and happy i went from the 6 to the 6 PlusI tried to figure out if AT&T Next would be cheaper but their website is really damn confusing and I have no idea how my corporate discount would apply.I placed my iPhone preorder around 3:20am on the Apple Store app (the store website would still be down for another hour at least), and while I was happy to be one of the lucky ones to get through a successful day one pickup on a 6 Plus, I was frustrated that there was no provision in the app for using a gift card.I think it must have taken me around 2 minutes to go through the whole process Delivering 9/19 I have been refreshing the Apple Store site for at least two hours (you never know - maybe the website could come up before the official start) and in the last hour I have been refreshing every 30 seconds... At least it was worth the wait..Two minutes after I ordered I saw that the delivery times started going north...Oh dear, now you got me worried I don't know, but in Apple's website, T-Mobile is listed as "contract-free" and it's the same price as "unlocked" If someone who bought a T-Mobile 5s last year when it launch could chime in, that would be really helpful! You will need to open your iPhone 5s to be able to view the volume button contacts, and slide something (I used a tiny piece of paper ) inside the gap that makes your volume keys jiggle.... You will need a pentalobular screwdriver (the one that was required to open the iPhone 5) and a suction cup (the kind that you stick on windows and mirror)... just follow the couple of steps on iFixIt website: It worked for me... you must not be scared of opening your iPhone, and be careful enough not to break any connection wires under the screen (read the above iFixIt link for more info) Unfortunately, if it's the power button you want to fix, you wont be able to do it my way My power button jiggles a tiny bit, but it's hardly noticeable... when the iphone was opened I noticed there was no way to properly see the button and gain access to itI highly doubt it is from a lack of RAM, I think I know what your talking about, because this one website I visit alot called gamespot.com crashes on my Plus 9/10 times and I have no idea why, it actually crashes my springboard, this forums I visit on Gamespot, and it only happens on this website which I have no idea why....it is so weird because when I had the 4.7 inch i6 before I switched to the Plus, this website never ever crashed on my 6....so weird...He was using a single inaccurate operators website in uk as the basis for is false premise.64GB SG & 64GB GOLD ordered in store 9/22 Shipping window 10/30-11/10 GOLD shipped 11/11 out of Fort Worth no emails received from AT&T only one order traceable online (although both shown) online chat didn't work on Safari phone call at 3pm 11/11 rep says gold shipped SG pending GOLD shipped at 3:45 pm phone call to at&t was only way i can find status of SG phone they said a shipment of SG iPhones is expected from China in 2-3 days that the AT&T website is not perfect is not excusable considering their pocket books BE PATIENT FRIENDS - yours, too, will come no need to get yourselves upset or use unkind language towards hapless dronesAlthough, I won't hold my breath considering my shipping window is 11/5-11/14, not to mention I would that they would cover all of the preorders first, but, it AT&T we are dealing with...To make matters worse, I won't find out until they update either the website or send me a text about my order since the 877 number hasn't worked since I've placed the order (although I still try)... Good luck everyone; I am about as impatient as they come, so for those of you waiting from 9/12, I don't know how you have done it without going mad!I seriously think Apple just posts fake stock for bots to try and buy like someone else said.. Apple please stop fake stocking your storesAlso I always was lead to believe this is safer from malicious website as they cant run applications in the background/start unwanted downloads. They're website seems absurd to pick a decent plan from and if they're wireless customer service is anything like their internet service, I don't think I'll be happy with them.I'm annoyed, so I call the customer service number from the website, and I tell the person that I wasn't happy with the service I received in the apple store, they ask for which store, and when I tell them, they're like "okay, I'll connect you to the store manager" and before I can say anything, they transfer.Add to that the fact that they had to make 5 million of these things in a very unrealistic time period, obviuosly the phone is not going to be as perfect as the render on the website.
weeks
Top-tier companies give great medical insurance, great vacation benefits (4 weeks), and great discounts (phone bill, Apple products, restaurants). That might have been funny a few weeks ago, Now it's just kind of hack.I'm now very very happy with my 2nd replacement unit which is doing absolutely fine and shows no signs of any bending after 2 1/2 weeks (with the exact same kind of usage that the former iPhone bent under after just 2 days). Its well worth the wait, and glad I got to spend the last 6 weeks with all of you!A couple of weeks ago my wife and I were enjoying a nice lunch out and I texted a photo to a friend of mine to let him know the restaurant we were at had his favorite beer on tap.My next "precious" will be in my possession in two weeks and no I am not tired of my Plus.If i have to wait a few weeks longer for the beautiful plus, i'm still happy its worth it.I have been reading this forum for weeks now and I am finally posting on here because I am so excited, yes... actually excited.I'm amazed at all the people on this forum who have acted like the 6+ is the greatest phone ever for the past 2 weeks and then act surprised when people ordered the 6+ and realized it wasn't for them.Nope - I knew I was getting a 6 when I woke up at 2:53AM EST I carry my phone in my front pants pocket all of the time, and did try a co-worker's 5.5" phone in my pocket a couple weeks ago; it fit, and I could sit if I adjusted the phone a bit before sitting, but it was way too obtrusive.Might be worth trying now before they start getting inundated with waiver requests in a few weeks and aren't feeling as generous.Ehem, you forgot something: "I'd also like to thank my lovely wife for putting up with me while I obsessively research for weeks on end, and for being the coolest, most awesome person ever. Two weeks ago I got the iPhone 5C and it is a pretty great experience, and the battery is great too.I thought I'd get used to this after a few weeks and learn to navigate the "iphone way", but it's as troublesome and confusing as ever to me.Yes, I had dumb luck and pre-ordered from Verizon 5 minutes before they were suppose to go on sale, but I would have waited 4 to 6 weeks if I didn't get so lucky and ordered the following day.I'm a little afraid weeks from now an app will come out that is much more useful on the Plus and I'll be jealous of the Plus users. If you want cheap wait a few weeks for Samsung to get desperate again and offer buy 1 get 1 dealsNo one will really be there until like 2 anyways so it shouldn't be so bad I just wanna make sure I get the phone my gf hates Me right now cause I won't shutup about my preorder being screwed up and don't want her hearing about it for 3 weeks plus I'm impatientI tried my luck and waited for 45 minutes the agent i got was pretty cool but he told there was nothing he can do about it and that all orders are getting expedited, i don't know if its true but he told me that he have received a lot of calls about from people with shipping dates November + including himself; anyway if i can get 6 plus locally at a fair price i might bite and cancel the pre-order, the sad part is my first order got cancel with a "nice" 7-10 days shipping but my new one is 3-4 weeks lol.Pretty Pathetic" "I find it strange how people would rather get the phone they don't want than to have to wait a couple of extra weeks to get the phone they do want."I've got a VZW dumb phone and two iPhone 5 handsets - a few weeks ago, one iP5 and the dumb phone were experiencing calls going straight to voicemail, I was on the road from Seattle to Skamokawa to Portland.Mine is a launch 5s and it was working perfectly (with a rare miss here and there, but not a big deal at all, I'd say 98% of the time it was fine)... we flew from RDU out to SJC a couple of weeks ago, and my touch sensor got worse and worse for the week and a half we were there. My 5S had the annoying resistive click when I pushed it certain ways, most frequently when I pressed it in the center and it made it really annoying to double press for multitasking but I am pleased to say that after close to 2 weeks usage it is now performing like it has on all the past iPhones.I have been a T-Mobile iPhone user for about a three years now..at first i had to deal with the terrible speed of EDGE since the iPhone is not built to run on T-Mobile's network..about two months ago i was finally able to get 3G on my iPhone 5 thanks to T-Mobile's attempt to upgrade their network to be able to drag more iPhone users to join their network...I'll admit at first i was really excited about this but after two weeks of 3G coming in and out, weak signal, dropping calls i finally said i've had enough, my iPhone would drop from 3G to EDGE at random times and even go NO SERVICE!!
early morning
october delivery
tomorrow
We are on the same boat, and if we are lucky we should see scan at around 4:10 CST or 1:10 AKST, so just sit down and relax, if we are very lucky, maybe we will get our phone by tomorrow, or we would have to wait for Monday.Happy for everyone with a shipment coming tomorrow Sad that I haven't gotten mine yetI'm hoping to get lucky tomorrow morning at the Friendly Center Apple Store.I'm lucky this time around because I have two additional UPS packages being delivered tomorrow and both say 11:15-3:15 and I'm assuming all of them including my iPhone will be on the same truck, so I sort of got around the whole "end of day" approximation that they put on these pre-orders so people can't be mad if they're a little late.I find it funny the release the day it drops the day before millions of people are about to be disappointed by Apple when they can't get the phone of their choice tomorrow. But I'm not worried.... For the worried, if your phone is being shipped from US to Canada, as long as ups has the pkg by 3:30pm today, it will be here by end of day tomorrow.Dear everyone, I am getting my gold 5s t-mobile unlocked one tomorrow, great to hear it is indeed unlocked, heard about 3/4 different stories from apple employees (even from the same store).Yellow is sweet bt that blue still looks great, at apple store in Newcastle tomorrow so looking forward to seeing a green Another point this feels great in the hand, its more like ceramic than plastic!I have a delivery exception due to bad weather, delivery has been rescheduled for tomorrow... Let's hope it doesn't get worse.I should have my iPhone 6 delivered tomorrow but I keep getting that Android itch (like being married to a wonderful and beautiful woman but being attracted to someone else because of how differennt she is ).I was told to setup as new, which I've already tried Interesting thing though - he said that these apps are having problems, so I am going to try a fresh restore again, downloading the firmware again as well, as he seems to think it is corrupt (the firmware): backboardd, com.apple.WebKit, SpringBoard From my jailbreaking days, I know that backboardd is an integral daemon that runs along side springboard, which is also corrupt, per the tech Will restore as new tonight and report back tomorrow afternoon Let us know what they say!Sitting on the same thing ... to me they can get it to us tomorrow ... and I'm gonna be pretty unhappy if it carries over into Thurs ... since I am not home all day and even picking it up will be annoying as I have class all day ..Still p r o c e s s i s i n g Well I guess I'm not lucky Ordered at 2:44, 2:44 hours after the original pre-order time My 6P 128 Gold is still processing Let's hope for tomorrow I hope I won't be extremely unlucky that my order will stick as processing without charging me until mondayNothing really I have my wifi and Bluetooth on, but I turned off most the the location services I don't need and left only the ones I need like camera, find my iphone etc, with everything thing on I should get close to 7-9 hours, but to be honest I mostly used it so far for normal usage, no map usage today such as Waze, it drains battery power like mad, I'll post update lasted tomorrow after using Waze to show the difference in battery power. You need to delete this post ... Unlock fusion IS LEGIT and provides great service ... And I don't know him but I'm happy cuz my AT&T contract will be cancelled tomorrow... Hello tmobileGetting super annoying I've gotten everything from Be here today or for sure tomorrow to "End of August" sucks how no1 has a clue...and the fact the workers seem to be getting more and more annoyed with calls asking if they have any.I would even roll with having to sign a new two year contract with AT&T, or maybe sign with them getting a cheap free dumb phone and then go back tomorrow and play the lost my microsim game with them.Arrival Scan Looks like my pallet joined up with the security held 7:10 crew and flew off to Korea.. (Would have preferred Osaka vacation for various reasons... but its moving.. but still 25th, so the question is will it remain with the 7:10ers when they depart for the US... while tomorrow is a possibility assuming they pop the next flight out... being on 'expedited' I dont hold much hope... but now Wednesday looks promising, except as I've stated, Wednesday is the 1 bad day this week for me.)

night
Have a great Halloween, Be safe Ryan: Happy Halloween enjoy your night!Let them do more impressive and creative things with the design as long as all I have to do is plug it in at night.Later that night (this was last Monday) I ordered my PLUS, excited and confident.Later that night (this was last Monday) I ordered my PLUS, excited and confident.8 planes landed this morning to last night....people will get phones with the next 3 days..yet they are impatient...... i got tracking yesterday, and never wavered on cancelling...if they said phones were preordered on 12th and wouldn't ship to next week we wouldn't have any problem waiting, BUT bc others have gotten theres people are flipping out...... Note- i don't have mine yet either, ...i finally got shipping yesterday...i was frustrated too, but i understood, in due time it will work out....I had been refreshing since 245am and I have been kicking myself since thursday night for not turning off wifi and going cellular to place my order cause all the refreshing locked me out.My preorder happened when Apple webservers were crashing at the iPhone5 pre-order extravaganza at 3am EST or whenever I stayed online all night to be able to order and couldn't get the damn site to load after refreshing for hours until finally I got through the checkout of the preorder.Christopher: okay great Christopher: Hope you're having a great night at work Alfonso: I am and I will have a greater night if I will be able to make you a happy customer this evening. That would be great for me, I'll be home around 5:15 give or take so if he is late and comes after that time I would be happy and would save me a trip to ups on friday night. These phones really are amazing, coming from a Blackberry Bold 9700 and it is like night and day.My co worker had a cracked screen that was so bad the glass pieces were cutting her fingers and she had scotch tape at the worst place to stop the cuts I was on eBay one night and saw a cheap screen replacement and bought it for her - replaced it at my lunch time for her while she went to get us lunch She would have never repaired it had I not done it myselfMy mom called me one night at 10:30, she woke me up, I wasn't nice (my kids don't dare wake me up - they know I'm not nice!It would make the world a better place by disabling the idiots who listen to bad music which sounds even worse through these speakers in the subway or in the streets at night or at the restaurant.Maybe this is not worth a post, but last night a funny thing happened.I've already replaced the screen myself with a cheap Chinese knockoff after shattering it one drunk night in platform heels, so I'm familiar with the guts of the thing.Annoying at night to get up and turn it off - yep I am lazyI stopped by my local wegmans last night at 9:45 and there was one lone person sitting in line at the AT&T store here... That makes panda sad.
business days
release
-Excellent build quality - Consistent battery life - Great performance - Almost flawless stability - Very bright display - Best app quality when compared with Android - Don't have to wait for carriers when system updates release - Excellent audio quality -Touch ID is a blessingout of the past few iOS devices: iPad 2 was pretty bad iPad 3/4 not bad at all iPhone 5 was awful iPhone 5S wasn't horrible unless you wanted Gold IMO, the iPhone 6 Plus availability is the worst I've seen in any iPhone release, particularly 64GB.I started out pretty patient, it's watching premier members be prioritized over the rest of us peons and now the worldwide release of my iPhone into the hands of those waaaaaaay behind me in the queue that have simple ruined this entire process for me, because there's always been something exciting about staying up until 2 (in my case), ordering your iPhone, and anticipating its arrival when you finally open the box and see your new phone before the vast majority of the world gets so close a look, there was a reward there, a magic, and that's just gone thanks to this release!Surely, if its worth standing in line for on the first day of the release its worth coming back a week later to pick up and play with.I find it funny the release the day it drops the day before millions of people are about to be disappointed by Apple when they can't get the phone of their choice tomorrow. This is great, glad to hear I can preorder the iphone 6 and not have to wait until release date.I'd really just wait for the release of the 6... worst comes to worse you don't like it and save money with the older model. The funny thing is that its kind of seasonal with Apple's release cycles. While FEDEX is sloppy at best leaving packages without a signature claiming they have a 'signature release' nobody in my household signed a 'signature Release' Bottom Line: it's all about the Driver Like any job it's the individual doing the job that makes the experience good or bad.I'm used to pre-orders where the production release is 6 months after the product annoucement, and the order window is small so they can build to what the preorder was... Im not saying that necessarily is desirable, but it really would help lessen some of the madness that is this "omg its next week" and the logistics that are involved and the insane it sells out in 1 minute stuff... received both my confirmation of processing and an email for the other reservation from when ATT couldnt verify...Less excited than with the 4S release - and certainly not excited about a potential increase in price!I get what you mean and understand your point, but nowadays pre iPhone release rumors already kill iPhone sales each year and its getting worse and worse.
3 weeks
week
I wont be buying a smart watch until these 3 things are met: Price no more than $150 Can be used with any smartphone platform Battery should last at least a week without charging I would also be interested in more smart watches like the Samsung s which don't require a smartphone but are cheaper maybe around $250 and last at least a week without charging.Trust me, I had to work for it, I was considering selling the 3G iPhone last week on ebay for few bucks if it was worth that much...until I saw the Best Buy ad, the first day I went there they wouldn't take it, so I reached out @ their social media site and they gave me a $100 GC (being mailed), then I went back the following day back to Best Buy and they finally took my iPhone 3G 8GB and gave me $100 for it and also took my iPhone 5 for $180, I was super happy with it.got the 6 first, absolutely thought Id never get a phone the size of the Plus, was chirping that the 6 is the perfect size and phone, but then I started getting envious of the Plus, then i wanted to switch to the Plus and I did and i love it that much more over the 6 and im beyond happy and satisfied I switched to the Plus Love the screen and battery life tremendously, they are simply incredible on the Plus, also has OIS which is a benefit, its been about a week since I owned the Plus and I am already used to the size(granted I rock it without a case to keep it slim and light, which the thinness and weight makes it alot more tolerable to hold and feels good imo, much better feel and hold and is slimmer in hand then other phablets, I am used to the size alreadyIn less than a week I have an awesome 6+ SG 64G in hand and am happy as can be.Have my skin for phone coming this week I stopped at BB and got a holster with case and a seperate clear rubber case fit the holster perfect too!I called into retentions about a week and a half ago, got the $65 plan and 4GB of data, went great, and just saw my bill today, $70.02 after taxes, not bad at all compared to paying $90 something.I spent a few days last week watching craigslist last week and bought a sealed iPhone 6 Plus 64GB Gray last Friday for $725.00 - Activated, went to Apple store grabbed a leather case and an extra lighting cable for use with an old iPad charger for use as my travel charger (Supposedly it charges faster with the bigger iPad charger) Anyway, if you're tired of waiting or don't want to be stuck in a contract paying way over full price for a phone, this is a great alternative.I'm just a consumer with my eyes open and realistic expectations who won't be angry when I don't have my phone a week before my shipping window opens. My wife's: Nice Name: iPhone 6 Family name: Group1: iPhone Group2: 6 Generation: CPU speed: 1.4GHz Screen size: 4.7 inch Screen resolution: 1334x750 pixels Colour: Gold Production year: 2014 Production week: 36 (September) Model introduced: 2014 Capacity: 16GB Memory - flavour: xx Memory - maximum total: 1GB Factory: DN (China, Chengdu - Foxconn) Mine: Nice Name: iPhone 6 (GSM/North America) Machine Model: iPhone7,2 Family name: A1549 Group1: iPhone Group2: 6 Generation: CPU speed: 1.4GHz Screen size: 4.7 inch Screen resolution: 1334x750 pixels Colour: Space Gray Production year: 2014 Production week: 35 (September) Model introduced: 2014 Capacity: 64GB Memory - flavour: xx Memory - maximum total: 1GB Factory: DN (China, Chengdu - Foxconn)Nice Name: iPhone 6 plus Family name: Group1: iPhone Group2: 6 plus Generation: CPU speed: 1.4GHz Screen size: 5.5 inch Screen resolution: 1920x1080 pixels Colour: Space Gray Production year: 2014 Production week: 39 (October) Model introduced: 2014 Capacity: 16GB Memory - flavour: xx Factory: F2 (China, Zhengzhou - Foxconn) Nice Name: iPhone 6 Family name: Group1: iPhone Group2: 6 Generation: CPU speed: 1.4GHz Screen size: 4.7 inch Screen resolution: 1334x750 pixels Colour: Space Gray Production year: 2014 Production week: 37 (September) Model introduced: 2014 Capacity: 16GB Memory - flavour: xx Memory - maximum total: 1GB Factory: DN (China, Chengdu - Foxconn)It is kind of funny to think of all of us on this forum going nuts, and we will lose interaction with each other in a week or two, but in the meantime, all of our phones are snuggled together on a pallet in a warehouse in Korea...After 1 week of using my 6 Plus, it has been great device and will still be a great device.I will, if lucky might have a new phone in a week plus But...No harm...I have an 5S... but...bad start...Lots of people held mine this week and it was amazing to see their reaction change in front of my eyes from wow that is big, to ... Actually this feels nice in my hand and what a lovely screen.Surely, if its worth standing in line for on the first day of the release its worth coming back a week later to pick up and play with.8 planes landed this morning to last night....people will get phones with the next 3 days..yet they are impatient...... i got tracking yesterday, and never wavered on cancelling...if they said phones were preordered on 12th and wouldn't ship to next week we wouldn't have any problem waiting, BUT bc others have gotten theres people are flipping out...... First, I have been restarting my phone more then 10 times in a week trying to get some weird issues fixed.hey guys ive had my iphone 6 for a week now and i have ios 8.0.2 installed on it, and the battery life is just terrible, i have background app refresh completely off, email push is off and my email account is set to manual instead of fetch, i can't figure out why its so bad, i mean if i dont use the phone then the battery holds up i guess but if i use it to browse facebook or just play a game or whatever it is drainging really quickly.. i also have notifications turned off for nearly every app other than messages and facetime.. i cant figure out whats causing the drainage.. i have my brightness set to 1/4 of the full brightness as well so its not my brightness. Can't decide if this makes me feel better because there is someone worse off than me, or I feel worse because of the potential of another week of processingI will give him the benefit of the doubt as he at least mentions at the end of the article that he's going to give another week to see how it might fit into or not fit into his phone usage patterns. All you've been doing is making very sad posts about the iPhone 6 plus, making it painfully obvious that you are NOT extremely happy with your choice (otherwise why keep going on and on about it for a week).I had 2.3 gingerbread android phone for 18 months and while android itself was fun to use the weak hardware and lack of regular updates let the experience down considerably. So much stuff could be done even without having to root your phone. Then I switched to Lumia 520 and it was a breath of fresh air the simple yet elegant ui is great windows phone 8 is a cool ecosystem.Just this week I bought iPhone 3GS with ios 6 which is a little inferior to iphone 6 i would guess and I like the OS it's smooth and fluid and the phone is also well built although camera quality is not so good but everything else is good.So I like all 3 platforms equally well. The past week has been deeply stressful, frustrating, and taxing for many of your customers, myself included. So I was stuck with AT&T "premier", n I ordered through AT&T that too at 3:40 am est, after a week with horrible customer care experience, way worse than I have ever seen, BTW I live in India n I thought customer care there was bad LOL, now I am not even sure will I receive a phone or not as my shipping date says pending confirmation.I'm used to pre-orders where the production release is 6 months after the product annoucement, and the order window is small so they can build to what the preorder was... Im not saying that necessarily is desirable, but it really would help lessen some of the madness that is this "omg its next week" and the logistics that are involved and the insane it sells out in 1 minute stuff... received both my confirmation of processing and an email for the other reservation from when ATT couldnt verify...If not Im not really worried about it though it is kinda annoying I won't get mad at AT&T until it doesn't show up next week, then ill be mad for a few hours and then just wait the estimated month. This phone is actually the least intrusive the lines have been of all the phones I've received, but it's just strange that my wife's white/gold 5s built week 3 with a DN serial is perfect yet original black from O2 built week 4 with the same DN serial range had awful "scan lines".I've had lots of iPods and an iPad and my phone was this cheap samsung intensity(a sliding phone...DUMB PHONE) then I got a blue 5c just a week or to ago.Mine is a launch 5s and it was working perfectly (with a rare miss here and there, but not a big deal at all, I'd say 98% of the time it was fine)... we flew from RDU out to SJC a couple of weeks ago, and my touch sensor got worse and worse for the week and a half we were there. And the last thing I want is too get a replacement that is worse than my current week 39: -3 flat -2 long edge -2 short edge This is definitely the worse apple issue I have faced throughout the 10 different purchases I've made over the years! My first iPhone 5 had great battery life (didn't get the week build unfortunately) but my current iP5 is week 38 and has terrible battery lifeArrival Scan Looks like my pallet joined up with the security held 7:10 crew and flew off to Korea.. (Would have preferred Osaka vacation for various reasons... but its moving.. but still 25th, so the question is will it remain with the 7:10ers when they depart for the US... while tomorrow is a possibility assuming they pop the next flight out... being on 'expedited' I dont hold much hope... but now Wednesday looks promising, except as I've stated, Wednesday is the 1 bad day this week for me.)
couple days
i am 6'5 and i too have tried the samsung note 2 with the bigger screen and for the first couple of days it was weird but after that i was use to the size and feel i do agree that would be ideal for them to release 2 differnt size screens but i do not think i would want a screen size as big as the note as it makes it very uncomfortable in the pantsIt is a great phone but after a couple of days I could not use it anymore because of a strange reason: pain in my eyes after max.If you take into account that there are some fake answers on one end; also take into account that there are fake answers on the other side - Second, I don't think the problem is "the phone will bend in your pocket in your first couple of days of use", but "the phone will eventually bend in your pocket".Those complaining about horrible battery life need to wait a couple days, especially if you see the message that its still restoring Those claiming the have super duper awesome battery life are either not using their phone or are FOS.The bad thing is I've been sick for a couple days and have been napping on my couch, but since I can see the road and parking areas right in front of my living room windows, every time I start to doze I hear something and am gawking out the window thus thoroughly destroying my nap, which is making me feel worse from my sickies.I have a family member wanting a 5c/s and I have seen a few on craigslist the past couple days for $300-325 and I am assuming they have a bad esn, I remember reading that the iphone 5 on verizon would work on att/tmobile but wasnt sure if it would if it had a bad esn for Verizon
orders
Happy to see orders are moving here all of a sudden for other people.Weird, on my friend's 6+ order, it comes up with two orders when we call the 877 number, one with a weird order # that starts with a 789****** (which I can't search against on the AT&T site) that says backordered and another with the correct order number that says in process 907***********.Then again if his phone came in mid-Oct, thats actually when UPS starts to really starts to pick up with Holiday orders already..damn, thats a depressing thought, I am really not the happy Christmas jolly type heheh. She did confirm that reps were sent an email stating they cannot offer expedited shipping on the phone so those of you who got it are lucky but I would not want to risk my order getting canceled just to expedite shipping from China which we all know it takes a few days anyways So while I wasn't happy having to wait October 1-6 because I've always got my orders through and received them on launch day this, is not a dealbreaker for me that I have to wait, it just makes the anticipation far more greater to receive my new phone.I tried my luck and waited for 45 minutes the agent i got was pretty cool but he told there was nothing he can do about it and that all orders are getting expedited, i don't know if its true but he told me that he have received a lot of calls about from people with shipping dates November + including himself; anyway if i can get 6 plus locally at a fair price i might bite and cancel the pre-order, the sad part is my first order got cancel with a "nice" 7-10 days shipping but my new one is 3-4 weeks lol.I will only come back after finishes their pending 20th orders Really annoying and confusing!
att
Unl data promotion is only if you are leaving Sprint, ATT or Verizon, but $25 gift is for all newbies to Simple Choice.. Tmo customer service can be confusing but the referral program is a great bonus for both old and new customers.I also purchased a basic phone as a second line.... ATT customer service was worthless...they didn't know what they were talking about and was always getting the run around..ontop of that the LG basic phone I ordered was in stock but they never shipped it to me and its always says backordered.....Just had a nice talk with a nice young man on ATT.In my case we have 3 phones(2 smart phones, 1 dumb phone, 1 smart phone on unlimited + 1 smart phone on 300 mb) the old school plans with the subsidies come out to about $1900 cheaper over a 2 year period compared to Mobile Shared Value + ATT Next. For what it's worth, I live in the Orlando area and I've been very happy with ATT.I'll still just be as happy, at the end of the day, stuff happens...the only thing you can do is get something (from ATT) to make it worth the wait.No thank u - verizon is where I will be - my main reason for moving was pricing - Tamara made that a non issue I am happy it is over - checked the Att acct this morning and it is with a zero balance and closed - and it will remain that wayNow with ATT moving aggressively towards the NEXT program (along with more attractive pricing just announced).Week 37 Factory C3 Black 16G ATT Delivered 9/21 Flawless out of box, flawless after much use.thats wonderful for you glad they didnt do that for everyone at the att store i went to on friday. We are with ATT 4 people on a 700 minute plan 2 people on a 500 minute plan 1 iphone with 2G plan 2 smart phones with $15 data plan unlimited texting unlimited nights, weekends, mobile to mobile yada yada Insurance on the 2 smart phones Add in all the crazy fees and you are talking about $300+ a month.Problem is, my ATT bill is way over due so I'm worried that when they get around to actually shipping the phone they'll cancel the order because my bill is overdue.I expected nothing short of people calling me "dumb" and blaming me or ATT for the bad experience.Still not confident they will meet the 2-13 shipdate on my att page, but nice to see some unicorns are being shippedI am so frustrated and ATT is completely worthless when asking for updates!Worse comes to worse dial 611 from your 5 and talk to ATTAnd of course the worst thing about this is, I am at the mercy of ATT and their iPhone 6 inventory (which is quite abysmal).Im still very disappointed in att and will remember this next year but im happy its finally on its way!Pre-orders have been bad with ATT in the past, but I've never seen it this bad.It would be awful b/c if you look further Verizon and T-Mo would not support VoLTE and those models would randomly have worse battery life than the ones on ATT and Sprint =DSadly, here in the Boston area T-Mo is inferior to ATT and VZW I have friends on T-Mo here and they hate it, because coverage is so bad.I find it ironic that the worst wifi speeds I get is from the ATT network at my local Starbuck.

hours
I agree with you less than 24 hours after receiving my 6 plus I bought an incipio Highland folio case and am Happy and confident it offers protection against damaging my phone.they are on pace for 6 hours of usage which is not bad with so much Angry Birds, most people with 8 hours of usage do not have a game in their top 5 appsLike I tell people, it's great if you're a tinkerer and the kind of person who wants to spend hours customizing every little thing about the phone.I make great use of an iPhone, but I don't browse on it for hours on end so a 4" screen is perfect for my needs.I was getting 7-8 hours of moderate to heavy use on my 5s (which I was extremely happy with) and I am now getting 10+ hours easily on my 6.He also went into great detail about how he/they want to do their best to make me happy and be there for me and how he'll stay on the phone with me for a couple of hours if need be, etc etc.I'd be happy with 12 hours of battery life with moderate use.It gets me almost 8 hours on a full charge, which is great since my 5S would be dead by 5 hours if it was lucky.Yet people that ordered the same phone hours after I did are happy texting and taking awesome pictures.Everyone was super nice and friendly so basically we sat around talking to strangers for a few hours and eating free food.Agree I always meet some really nice folks and nice conversations so waiting a couple hours is not a big deal.Granted it costs 5 bucks, it was nice to have that option and can come in handy if you know you won't be home during certain hours and don't want your package to be left at door or if its signature required. All of us who got up before 3 am in the eastern time zone, sat around refreshing the web site for over 2 hours, and couldn't go to a carrier site or the app because we are T-Mobile customers, and then finally gave up and went to bed, and then later woke up and found the shipping times were late October, deserve some kind of acknowledgement.I'm feeling very content and grateful (and excited) considering I accidentally fell back asleep when I was supposed to be getting ready for the pre-order but luckily woke up 3 hours later and got lucky enough to get 7-10 days on the 6+ 64GB with T-Mobile.I think it must have taken me around 2 minutes to go through the whole process Delivering 9/19 I have been refreshing the Apple Store site for at least two hours (you never know - maybe the website could come up before the official start) and in the last hour I have been refreshing every 30 seconds... At least it was worth the wait..Two minutes after I ordered I saw that the delivery times started going north...My preorder happened when Apple webservers were crashing at the iPhone5 pre-order extravaganza at 3am EST or whenever I stayed online all night to be able to order and couldn't get the damn site to load after refreshing for hours until finally I got through the checkout of the preorder.Apple is usually the first to popularize awesome features such as 7 hour battery life on the MacBook Air (and then to an amazing 12 hours), retina display on a laptop, Touch ID on the iPhone, etc.my ipad air has a perfect screen and I'm getting upwards of 12 hours use out of it even with some gaming, the mini retina I bought had a perfect screen and good battery life, and safari doesn't crash on me.While I'm more than happy with those numbers (my 4s battery was shot and giving me 2-3 hours max just sitting on the table) I have to be honest, last charge it showed similar numbers so I left the house with 30% thinking it would be more than enough to last me while I went out for a bit and wouldn't need to charge it til I got home...phone died within 3 hours.LTE in Chicago, IL near Downtown on this plan :-) I have done half a dozen speed tests, over 500 emails this month, messaging, google maps GPS navigation on probably 200-300miles worth, few hours of pandora streaming and I've used 1.2GB of data this month....still got 8 more days and 800MB remaining, this plan is great!thats amazing battery life I average 7-8 hours usage 1 day standby and i'm very happy with that.Hi everyone , I'm here to inform you all that I've solved this problem after battling for hours , I red a lot of post on various forums and tried , changed/removed security/encryption standards , changed DNS , Tried different channels , toggled genius in privacy ... etc but none worked I have a 5 year old netgear wifi router which worked just perfect with ipad , iPhone 4 & 4s but since I got i5 , I've faced serious wifi issues like , average browsing , ultra slow app store download speeds ... for a 10mb app it took more than 15 mins to complete , on 20 MBps broadband line .. After trying every solution out there I tried my friends Belkin and Netgear N series router , and everything worked perfect @ blazing speeds on both belkin & N series, found the difference almost instantly(on all my old devices as well) .At a minimum, you need to line up for hours at an Apple store, that's only if you are lucky enough to live in a city with an Apple store, and lucky enough that they indeed receive a shipment on that day.If a battery is dropping 10% in 8 hours just sitting there asleep doing nothing, I'd say that's not satisfactory unless you're in an area with bad cell coverage and it's fighting to keep a signal or something.Phone #1 - invalid sim messages 3 times within 24 hours Phone #2 - invalid sim messages every hour!I'm so sick of the iPhone 6 and iOS8 3rd party keyboards totally unreliable App crashes are among the worst its ever been on iOS Another phone with a home button that feels like its about to give in Restored iPhone again today (set it up as new when i 1st got the 6) but tried doing same today .... phone decides 2 hours later to start heating up drastically and chewing battery .... was depleting fast than i could charge it.I remember I was at the genius bar 3 days in a row for about 3 hours when my old MacBook Pro broke, I felt so bad because it was the same genius bar girl, she was super nice but I was about to go offer her something to eat on me (especially since the repair ended up costing nothing).Yes, no one get too excited about shipping, I received the emails/texts for my gold on the 4th, tracking didn't show up until yesterday, and then the news was only that an electronic shipping label had been created, it finally departed Memphis this morning with an expected delivery of THURSDAY, and I literally live a mere 4 hours from there!!!There's been horrible weather in Missouri the past 24 hours with horrible flooding so I'm assuming the same on movement here.More than 24 hours to prepare a damn phone for shipping ... this is just insane !The thing is I'm not going to notice little things such as some apps look fuzzy (not optimized yet hopefully), photos look fuzzy on the edges, back text is crooked, glass is partially separated in one spot, screen is yellow, etc etc without using my own for hours or a day or 2 so just looking at one for a few min isn't going to help aside from getting an overall picture of yes this looks great or not.Still p r o c e s s i s i n g Well I guess I'm not lucky Ordered at 2:44, 2:44 hours after the original pre-order time My 6P 128 Gold is still processing Let's hope for tomorrow I hope I won't be extremely unlucky that my order will stick as processing without charging me until mondayas for not trying hard enough - I got up at midnight and tried for 1.5 hours on my computer, iPad and iPhone- trying and trying - refreshing and refreshing - don't see how I could have done more - you either get through or you don't - pretty simple. If not Im not really worried about it though it is kinda annoying I won't get mad at AT&T until it doesn't show up next week, then ill be mad for a few hours and then just wait the estimated month. For the first months since I purchase the 5s, the battery life was terrible, I've read over the net that the 3-4 hours that I got from 100%, was possible with few degrading variables such as heat, low signal strength , higher brightness, etc.Contrary to my previous post after only 24hrs with phone and pathetic battery life.... Once fully restored, backed up on iCloud and second full charge to 100%, the current status since last full charge is: Usage: 3 hours 54 mins (approx 4 hours) Standby: 17 hours 41 mins Battery remaining: 50%.Nothing really I have my wifi and Bluetooth on, but I turned off most the the location services I don't need and left only the ones I need like camera, find my iphone etc, with everything thing on I should get close to 7-9 hours, but to be honest I mostly used it so far for normal usage, no map usage today such as Waze, it drains battery power like mad, I'll post update lasted tomorrow after using Waze to show the difference in battery power. After a month of near-continious work, the machine bits are starting to get worn out and the workers more and more tired and frustrated -- after working long, arduous hours making the August-batch phones.

shipping
Ill stay at least until Gingersnap gets hers from apple and she becomes happy again- Update: Tracking number updated and phone is shipping from Fort Worth, TX and its Next day air!I'm just a consumer with my eyes open and realistic expectations who won't be angry when I don't have my phone a week before my shipping window opens.I am excited I ordered a 6+ 64 Gold 9/12 7:50am PST Shipping dates 10/31 - 11/11 Heather, so glad to hear yours is processing too!And yeah, I'll third Rafterman's opinion that I'd be glad to pay a shipping fee to guarantee I don't get the arbitrary deprioritized shipment next time...Kind of exciting knowing a few more of us will have shipping info by the end of the day!8 planes landed this morning to last night....people will get phones with the next 3 days..yet they are impatient...... i got tracking yesterday, and never wavered on cancelling...if they said phones were preordered on 12th and wouldn't ship to next week we wouldn't have any problem waiting, BUT bc others have gotten theres people are flipping out...... Note- i don't have mine yet either, ...i finally got shipping yesterday...i was frustrated too, but i understood, in due time it will work out....I ordered at 3:15 AM, still no shipping confirmation but seeing as how they seem to be moving down a list I am confident I will get one soon enough.I can wait for my phone, after all, they gave us an estimated shipping date, great, awesome, I get that too.Kind of funny that people got up at 3 am to order these 6+ phones not knowing if they had 2 GB RAM and have been anxiously watching for conformation of shipping, etc and now 20 % are ready to return them if they come with 1 GB without even knowing what their performance is.She apologized profusely for me not getting my phone right away, and I kind of hemmed and hawed about them not being able to expedite the shipping without getting mean or being rude (she really was a very nice young lady; I have no idea how she sounded so enthusiastic this early in the morning), and then she finally said "But you know what I could do..." and offered me a free leather case. All of us who got up before 3 am in the eastern time zone, sat around refreshing the web site for over 2 hours, and couldn't go to a carrier site or the app because we are T-Mobile customers, and then finally gave up and went to bed, and then later woke up and found the shipping times were late October, deserve some kind of acknowledgement. For what it's worth, the very kind rep I called on Friday told me that it was too late to upgrade my order to expedited shipping.Happy things are moving, grateful for all these posts that helped me find the shipping information.64GB SG & 64GB GOLD ordered in store 9/22 Shipping window 10/30-11/10 GOLD shipped 11/11 out of Fort Worth no emails received from AT&T only one order traceable online (although both shown) online chat didn't work on Safari phone call at 3pm 11/11 rep says gold shipped SG pending GOLD shipped at 3:45 pm phone call to at&t was only way i can find status of SG phone they said a shipment of SG iPhones is expected from China in 2-3 days that the AT&T website is not perfect is not excusable considering their pocket books BE PATIENT FRIENDS - yours, too, will come no need to get yourselves upset or use unkind language towards hapless dronesIt only that the issue was ONE of the following: Invalid shipping address Invalid credit card information Duplicate order received The item is no longer available I have a feeling the issue was that we ordered from an AT&T authorized dealer.Although, I won't hold my breath considering my shipping window is 11/5-11/14, not to mention I would that they would cover all of the preorders first, but, it AT&T we are dealing with...To make matters worse, I won't find out until they update either the website or send me a text about my order since the 877 number hasn't worked since I've placed the order (although I still try)... Good luck everyone; I am about as impatient as they come, so for those of you waiting from 9/12, I don't know how you have done it without going mad!Hey guys, I have been reading your posts since mid September, and i felt like i have to join you guys because it feels really bad how AT&T is handling the shipping in an upsetting order.Felt with the same ignorant csrs and either received bad information (like the one who told me I'd have the phone long before my shipping window) or no information at all.Yes, no one get too excited about shipping, I received the emails/texts for my gold on the 4th, tracking didn't show up until yesterday, and then the news was only that an electronic shipping label had been created, it finally departed Memphis this morning with an expected delivery of THURSDAY, and I literally live a mere 4 hours from there!!!More than 24 hours to prepare a damn phone for shipping ... this is just insane !I'm really not terribly pleased with how this whole pre-order process has gone (from the late arrival compared to others who ordered after me, to the UPS shipping delays, and finally to the invalid delivery dates I have been quoted from both Apple and UPS).Suddenly the carriers are the uncaring greedy incompetent giants who won't ship what the customer ordered & Apple is the hero shipping sooner than their customers expect.Got an email from AT&T though reviewing my plan and telling me stuff for my account, but who knows....happy for everyone in the group in shipping mode, feel bad for me, hahaStrange how, just by dumb luck, customs is only holding up the phones, by sheer coincidence, that Apple/UPS randomly assigned lesser shipping to.These phones are going to the most fervent Apple customers, and Apple should be aware that UPS is frustrating them with inaccurate shipping status messages and inefficient routings. So I was stuck with AT&T "premier", n I ordered through AT&T that too at 3:40 am est, after a week with horrible customer care experience, way worse than I have ever seen, BTW I live in India n I thought customer care there was bad LOL, now I am not even sure will I receive a phone or not as my shipping date says pending confirmation. She did confirm that reps were sent an email stating they cannot offer expedited shipping on the phone so those of you who got it are lucky but I would not want to risk my order getting canceled just to expedite shipping from China which we all know it takes a few days anyways So while I wasn't happy having to wait October 1-6 because I've always got my orders through and received them on launch day this, is not a dealbreaker for me that I have to wait, it just makes the anticipation far more greater to receive my new phone.I tried my luck and waited for 45 minutes the agent i got was pretty cool but he told there was nothing he can do about it and that all orders are getting expedited, i don't know if its true but he told me that he have received a lot of calls about from people with shipping dates November + including himself; anyway if i can get 6 plus locally at a fair price i might bite and cancel the pre-order, the sad part is my first order got cancel with a "nice" 7-10 days shipping but my new one is 3-4 weeks lol.Third, no stock and slow shipping results in bad publicity and customer complaints - which lead to even more bad publicity.

experience
it wasn't horrible, or even bad, considering it came out in 2009, but it's not really a good experience if you want to do anything but the basics. It's certainly the worst (though not terrible or unlivable) experience I have ever had with a brand new top end iPhone.I know this is only my experience and there are bad units out there but when I hear people going though 3, 4 and even 5 units, all I can think is how much Apple must raise their prices to all of us to make a very few happy. For me the screen size is such an enjoyable experience that I'm happy to adjust / live with the extra effort you need to apply on the occasions you need to use it one handed etc. After reading this post, I thought to myself, "If this is the kind of attitude this guy has, he'll have a great experience at the Apple Store".And to be honest, I am due for a smart phone upgrade for my personal phone and after having such a great experience so far with this iPhone4, I am considering upgrading my current Android to the new iPhone 6.I used my iphone 6 for 12 days before i returned it and went for a 6plus now here are the differences:- iPhone 6 Pros One handed use light and pocketable Cons to be honest except for the design there wasnt any difference btw 5s and 6.. battery life was almost the same n so was the display iPhone 6 plus my experience:- as i have used LG g3 and Note 3 going for a phablet wasnt a big deal for me..but to be honest this thing is big and not that much easy to carry around in your pockets but two things made me just fall in love with this beauty 1st its bigger and FULL HD display [on iphone 6 i can easily see jaggered lines on the text n Fonts but here on iphone 6 plus everything is smooth n crystal clear] second man o man the battery life is awesome and superb.. to be honest iPhone 6 plus is the real upgrade for this generation while 6 is jus OKBasically I see the ipad as a compromised experience useful when I have something to carry it around in but is still awkward to take out the laptop (basically the compromise is worth the convenience).Nice to hear that you are having a great experience with T-Mobile so far.Glad you had such a great experience BoBTake Blizzard's Hearthstone, it works great on an iPad and while they are working on an iPhone version, I think that is going to be a much different experience because the cards will necessarily have to be shrunk a lot to fit the interface.I guess my point is: it sucks if you've had a bad experience, but for the overwhelming majority, customer service/support is a very large reason why Apple retains so many customers.Jonny Ives had just said and I quote "It's incredible, amazing and truly remarkable just how the iPhone 6 plus bounds with the user to provide an amazing experience.Length of 6+ ... it needs to be 1/4-1/2" shorter ... would be perfect... i get that we can't shorten the bottom without changing the touchid sensor in some way and i don't think Apple would like a non-equal bezel I just felt that when i was holding it 1 handed without a case i had to hold onto it tightly which didn't make for best comfort experience Do miss the screen though .... was amazing in its contrast and tonality and so sharp and battery was significantly bigger.I was lucky enough to score one at a carrier store and was able to have an enjoyable line experience chatting up Apple/iPhone/general geekery with fellow people in line with me.The experience with people was great, and I did at least get a phone, but I'm still kinda unhappy I didn't get the one I want.Never had a bad experience but I use common sense and am not paranoid.Glad you had a great experience. There's many other devices with better specs and none or them can compete with how smooth, nice and great the user experience is in general with Apple devices.Really awesome when I'd been using a difficult to use 5, then a verrrrry slowwww 4, then to a brand new 5 for free out of warranty This whole experience makes me wonder exactly what kind of dirt gets into my pocket though heheI do like the feel but had one bad experience with my phone falling onto tile that reminds me the cosmetic delta is well worth the security one.Two weeks ago I got the iPhone 5C and it is a pretty great experience, and the battery is great too. This means that the iPhone 5S is the only phone worth using to take photos indoors, and in my experience the only one that gives worthwhile results.People are reading WAY to into this, it was an incident that happened to a phone, and I just shared my experience because I was lucky enough to have been able to catch it and just so happened to post on a forum that talks about this kind of stuff. To be honest I have had the greatest experience with Apple and I'm sorry to hear that you did not have exactly the experience you had hoped for.iPhone is smaller as a matter of convenience, while iPad is regarded as a device more keen to wider experiences, as screen real estate allows for more enjoyable movies and games experience, for instance. For me, the ability to save 100 dollars, have a more comfortable phone (I know, totally opinion based), and still have a great mobile experience is worth it!Great user experience Apple... absolutely great!Nice and now if your company buys iPhone 5S (thats if they buy at full price rather than on contract) they wouldn't have to make employees change phones should they wish to change networks if they provided everyone with Verizon 5C/5S models :-) Glad your enjoying your services and iPhone - at the end of the day its your best experience and what ever model + carrier gets you that - is what matters.I'm thinking it's not so bad being a bit of an underdog, being happy with your choice and just enjoying the experience. It's a really great way to enjoy a wonderful experience without dealing with short run times.Well I would say it depends on each one experience and I'm glad you are happy with Bell. While FEDEX is sloppy at best leaving packages without a signature claiming they have a 'signature release' nobody in my household signed a 'signature Release' Bottom Line: it's all about the Driver Like any job it's the individual doing the job that makes the experience good or bad.I expected nothing short of people calling me "dumb" and blaming me or ATT for the bad experience. Why we're discussing this on an Apple based forum on the Internet is that like Apple users can get together and talk about their experience with Apple products, good, bad, and ugly.6 Plus screen is nice but using it for an extended period of time at home is not so great in my experience.Same here no phone same to confirmation number 197 all the info I get is back ordered Yes mine says the same this is insane the worst experience everYeah it's extremely frustrating, it's the worst preorder experience I've ever had with Apple.I've experienced how ****** this is on the Retina MacBook Pro when set to the higher than optimal retina setting and it's not a great experience.Which means until this gets resolved no new iPhone for me very sad and just disappointed with this whole preorder experience. All it turned out to be was a stressful, horrible experience.I had 2.3 gingerbread android phone for 18 months and while android itself was fun to use the weak hardware and lack of regular updates let the experience down considerably. So much stuff could be done even without having to root your phone. Then I switched to Lumia 520 and it was a breath of fresh air the simple yet elegant ui is great windows phone 8 is a cool ecosystem.Just this week I bought iPhone 3GS with ios 6 which is a little inferior to iphone 6 i would guess and I like the OS it's smooth and fluid and the phone is also well built although camera quality is not so good but everything else is good.So I like all 3 platforms equally well.So I was stuck with AT&T "premier", n I ordered through AT&T that too at 3:40 am est, after a week with horrible customer care experience, way worse than I have ever seen, BTW I live in India n I thought customer care there was bad LOL, now I am not even sure will I receive a phone or not as my shipping date says pending confirmation. It's just the Samsung experience which is awful and makes it really terrible.I am leery of eBay because I had a bad experience of someone paying for my item and once they got it, they cancelled payment. And as dissatisfied as I still am with Siri's limitations, it is dwarfed by how dissatisfied I am with Apple's touch keyboard experience on this tiny screen.I've never owned a recent iPhone (the iPhone 4 was the last version that I owned) but in my experience all iPhones have been very laggy in opening apps, and especially bad at answering phone calls (many times the call ends before I can make the dumb "slide to answer" thingy actually work.My experience has been less than stellar with AT&T when a fraud rep says your husband of 27 years did this because he calls Mich and has been calling the same number the thieves used for their insurance claim then has to retract it because the numbers are to Flint Mich vs South Field Mich that's bad.Going back to the first comments I made about your experience: Just because T-Mobile has horrible coverage on your street in Boston, doesn't mean they will have horrible coverage everywhere. If your experience with TouchId is so awful, maybe your iPhone is defective (a defective sensor) ....That's to bad that you are having such a terrible experience.Twice Also did a ##update# no luck Googled the issue, and every result was indicating a bad SIM - although, they were posts for 4, 4S and 5 (Around October 8 for the 5) which did not correlate to an update I would not really even consider the update being an issue if it weren't for a few of us with the same experience of updating, and then immediately having the issue Too weird Anyway, point of the post was to see if anyone else had this, which, some did - and as a heads up for others beating a dead horse now.HSPA+ isn't a great deal faster than HSPA in my experience and isn't worthy of being called 4G!

Not sure when I'll next be able to get near a store to see one - at this rate my pre-order mid October will show up before I get there! The phone is going to be awesome if I get it Friday, but it is going to be equally awesome if I get itearly/mid october. All of us who got up before 3 am in the eastern time zone, sat around refreshing the web site for over 2 hours, and couldn't go to a carrier site or the app because we are T-Mobile customers, and then finally gave up and went to bed, and then later woke up and found the shipping times were late October, deserve some kind of acknowledgement.Oh , damn, joined October 2014, my bad, you got me, haha I though about that one more than once but the truth is..Half of the people use cases and we all put it down on the back so ..She did confirm that reps were sent an email stating they cannot offer expedited shipping on the phone so those of you who got it are lucky but I would not want to risk my order getting canceled just to expedite shipping from China which we all know it takes a few days anyways So while I wasn't happy having to wait October 1-6 because I've always got my orders through and received them on launch day this, is not a dealbreaker for me that I have to wait, it just makes the anticipation far more greater to receive my new phone. It's sad seeing so many people frustrated about it, when you bought the phone it said "Ships in October" and you committed to it.Twice Also did a ##update# no luck Googled the issue, and every result was indicating a bad SIM - although, they were posts for 4, 4S and 5 (Around October 8 for the 5) which did not correlate to an update I would not really even consider the update being an issue if it weren't for a few of us with the same experience of updating, and then immediately having the issue Too weird Anyway, point of the post was to see if anyone else had this, which, some did - and as a heads up for others beating a dead horse now.

Ryan: To be honest that does sound a little shady that I wasn't informed of this at the time of purchase.its a great purchase to be used a iPod or iPhone, if you are not a heavy user and just want a "iPod" that may be able to make calls if needed, this is great.watch out for "iPhone for life" if you terminate your agreement you must pay ALL future device payments and then you have to either hand them your phone or you have to take their purchase option so for example if i lease an iPhone 6 64 gb for $25 a month and i have 21 months left, i have to surrender my iPhone PLUS pay them $525 i guess the purchase option would be another $224 i am sick of people calling this deal a rental going around and making sure all the various news sites telling you how bad the iPhone 4 life program is almost as futile of trying to destroy every last copy of Star Wars the Holiday Special if i pay the future device payments plus take the purchase option, i bet i still won't get an unlockEspecially with how the Nexus 6 apparently has a questionable screen and meh battery life, which was my intended purchase, also availability is as bad as the iphone 6+ currently hah.The point is the cost for Apple to bump 16 GB to 32 GB is absurdly low and would be well worth doing just so they don't tarnish their brand when people get frustrated with their purchase later on.This goes to about 50% of all the crap ive read on here the last few days.....pretty pathetic grown adults come in here to try to make other people feel crappy about a dumb phone purchase decision. What a sad statement it is that people are practically salivating over the idea of other iPhone buyers being dissatisfied with their purchase.Always ask the buyer to bring a SIM so that both parties can verify the device fully functioning [Note: Scammers usually don't sit to inspect the device nor bring SIM cards to test devices] Additional Notes: - eBay buyers can open a dispute against the seller up to 30days after the purchase and correct me If I'm wrong, Paypal direct sales can be disputed against up to 45days === DO NOT SELL YOUR iDEVICES DIRECTLY VIA PAYPAL, NO MATTER HOW NICE OR CONVINCING THE BUYER MAY BE, YOUR PROTECTION LEVEL IS LOWER vs having eBay on board.

Trust me, I had to work for it, I was considering selling the 3G iPhone last week on ebay for few bucks if it was worth that much...until I saw the Best Buy ad, the first day I went there they wouldn't take it, so I reached out @ their social media site and they gave me a $100 GC (being mailed), then I went back the following day back to Best Buy and they finally took my iPhone 3G 8GB and gave me $100 for it and also took my iPhone 5 for $180, I was super happy with it.Glad you are still an avid reader of the site. This site is driving me crazy I can't keep coming here and obsessing on WHEN WILL I GET MY PHONE I'm not getting a damn thing done On the bright side I do have a fancy new iPhone 6 Plus CASE I can carry around and fantasize about what it might be like to carry around a real phone Maybe I should just go get a big 'ol magnifying glass to make my 5s look bigger in the mean time Oh and my wife - she thinks we all are crazy tracking every baby step our phones are taking from conception to delivery out the birth canal We are by the way .I watched adult films on my favorite iPhone friendly sitePre-ordered 6+ 64GB SG @ 1.46am CDT on 9/12 Estimated delivery 10/2 - 10/13 My AT&T site reads 'pending shipment' Cancel button on premier site reappeared 3-4 days ago No sign of any shipment or tracking number Happy for others seeing some progress ... just wish I could see some kind of update! All of us who got up before 3 am in the eastern time zone, sat around refreshing the web site for over 2 hours, and couldn't go to a carrier site or the app because we are T-Mobile customers, and then finally gave up and went to bed, and then later woke up and found the shipping times were late October, deserve some kind of acknowledgement.I think it must have taken me around 2 minutes to go through the whole process Delivering 9/19 I have been refreshing the Apple Store site for at least two hours (you never know - maybe the website could come up before the official start) and in the last hour I have been refreshing every 30 seconds... At least it was worth the wait..Two minutes after I ordered I saw that the delivery times started going north...My preorder happened when Apple webservers were crashing at the iPhone5 pre-order extravaganza at 3am EST or whenever I stayed online all night to be able to order and couldn't get the damn site to load after refreshing for hours until finally I got through the checkout of the preorder. There's this new site I saw on Yahoo Tech called UpgradeSwap and it would probably be perfect for you because for one they pay you first through PayPal, kind of like how eBay would do it.That was extremely handy at the time because I was using a 1995 Performa 6116 to log on to the internet & it was so brutally slow it took like three days for MaBell & similar sites to load, so I was glad to be able to pay all bills straight from PP's site.I find this annoying but even worse on my iPad which so many sites automatically load as mobile site.>> oh never mind.. more and more people are moving to mobile site.. so one doesn't have to worry.. << On almost all "mobile" sites, the text size assumes perfect vision and, for me, even with reading glasses, the text size on almost all mobile sites is too small to read without zooming... so, even on the mobile sites, you are faced with the need to scroll each line of text. The Apple apologists on this site are getting worse and worse.I have asked Saab what I could do to adjust the site to make him happy (no guarantee I could do it but happy to listen).Weird, on my friend's 6+ order, it comes up with two orders when we call the 877 number, one with a weird order # that starts with a 789****** (which I can't search against on the AT&T site) that says backordered and another with the correct order number that says in process 907***********.Web site says "Preparing to Ship", 877 says "Backordered", Mom says "Be Patient", and my heart says, "Sad sad sad".Proceed to click the video result of the girl in long socks and Siri takes you to a site with lots of weird nudity...most of which is probably forbidden in the USA (tudou.com).That site is questionable and anyone that tries to take advantage of someone elses good rep to make money sounds shady to me.

but the heavy JPEG compression....they need to set the compression to the least setting so you get or have the option for bigger JPEG's (like the setting DSLR's have)...wouldn't mind a RAW setting but don't see that anytime soon :P PNG's would be nice (strange for live images but still lossless).IF you get lucky, the blue shirt will go to his/her manager and speak about it... the manager will then come over to you and say, yes we can cancel the 2 year contract and you'll have to wait for your upgrade eligibility to kick back in, which generally takes 5-10 mins... if you cancelled twice, you're SOL as it locks the upgrade and you'll have to call AT&T and they'll have to call some other to have it restored which will take 3-5 business days... to avoid that, if you're on a family plan, I'd suggest you pre-order with another line thats not looking to upgrade right away... that way your upgrade is available right away and theres no waiting around... if you're the only line, I'd suggest you log into your AT&T mobile app and keep refreshing the upgrade eligibility page until you see it kick in... once they cancel the 2 year contract, theres an option for the NEXT or you can purchase the phone "device only" which means you pay for the phone completely, right there... again, I've experienced stores where they will flat out tell you they cant do such a thing, blah blah blah, cancelling will put the phone back into their online pre-order batch, which is BS... you just need to get lucky and have a blue shirt willing to do it for you...If anyone is looking for a wallet/wristlet option for the 6+, I found that the wallet is a completely perfect fit for mine even when it's in the apple leather case.Very happy with my choice, and I definitely feel the silver is the most attractive option this time around. It's kind of a pain that they gave us the option of moving all the icons including those in the dock to the next screen, but then we have to keep staring at the dock.Apple probably has data on how much used space and therefore keeping that option is smart money if the benefit of upgrading would only make a few people happy and keep most from upgrading to second tier. That being said, the nice thing for Apple to do after years of proclaimining they had mobile phone operation "figured out" and that 3.5-4" was the "perfect size" would have been to at least offer one as an OPTION.Granted it costs 5 bucks, it was nice to have that option and can come in handy if you know you won't be home during certain hours and don't want your package to be left at door or if its signature required. For those that have tried the printable templates, make sure you haven't got a "scale to fit" or "fit to page" option set when printing.Having a FAST LTE on a plan that is not unlimited can be problematic so it would be nice to have Sprint as an option (of course assuming you are in a Sprint LTE service area). The so called compelling evidence could just be the case that Apple have told manufacturers that this option exists now to get headphones on the market for the launch and isnt compelling at all that they are dumping the normal jack. The bold font selection is a nice option.I'd love to see like the post above some form of waterproofing so that I'm not afraid to use my iPhone in the rain also and I've sent this suggestion to apple, a small translucent ring around the home button that has a pulsating ring of light for missed calls, messages, email etc if not then a led somewhere for the same purpose, a smart wifi option so it switches off once you leave your home wifi and will come back on once your home or it can remember where other wifi locations are and switch back on once you get to that area.It seems Google have gone for the half-arsed 'force text to fit the screen' option rather than the more elegant 'load the page in a readable format from the word go' that Apple takes.watch out for "iPhone for life" if you terminate your agreement you must pay ALL future device payments and then you have to either hand them your phone or you have to take their purchase option so for example if i lease an iPhone 6 64 gb for $25 a month and i have 21 months left, i have to surrender my iPhone PLUS pay them $525 i guess the purchase option would be another $224 i am sick of people calling this deal a rental going around and making sure all the various news sites telling you how bad the iPhone 4 life program is almost as futile of trying to destroy every last copy of Star Wars the Holiday Special if i pay the future device payments plus take the purchase option, i bet i still won't get an unlockAnd moving isn't an option, kind of hard to just pick up and move when the Army gets to say where I work. They will mostly likely do both, launch app and have it float in the middle of the screen with black bars surrounding and then a stretch to fill screen option like the iPad, honestly the stretch wouldn't look bad since when the iPad did it to the 3.5 inch iPhone apps it still looked ok, I doubt a .7inch increase would be horrible. As well: 128 gb option 5 inch screen Thicker, with twice the battery life Other than that, hardware wise, I can't think of anything else that I really really want that apple would ever implement (SD card and removable battery come to mind as nice options, but don't see that ever happening).the screen is bigger, but the only place i noticed it was in angry birds where all the angles were wrong... :-/ but by far is the fingerprint security option, and by this i mean that for the past 2 years i turned off the passcode option as I'm just not that issued with people i know having access to my phone, but was a "little" worried if i lost it, but the fingerprint option is awesome, full lock, but a 2 second thumbprint and its unlocked.Yes, I'm absolutely concerned about these things... but for the purposes of this thread, I for one am more gobsmacked that of all of these other things that the OP should be worried about, he instead has chosen to fixate on a rather absurd one: he wants to disable the fingerprint reader on a device which can be used to collect insidious data, and buying said device - the option which is most effective - is an option he finds acceptable.I might not have been so eager to switch had Google not gotten rid of their EAS option, but since they did I didn't have much heartburn about moving my services to iCloud, especially after I bought a MacBook. So I wouldn't completely rule out the option of defective aluminium or bad assembly causing strong pressure from the inside of the phone. My phone is a 3G not the 3gS Ability to transfer data via bluetooth (admittedly, i don't use bluetooth that often but it would be nice to have the ability to do so) 5 items on the dock instead of 4 (i had my phone jailbroken for awhile -not anymore- and really loved that option) Ability to open .ICS events natively especially when I'm traveling and my phone is the only option for email checking (i do not have an exchange account or mobileme) Flash (yeah, i know, extremely unrealistic given Jobs' comments about Flash not terribly long ago) An earlier post mentioned a drop-down on the home screen for wi-fi options, i.e, the same function available on the Mac desktop.

iphones
Went from the 6 to the 6 Plus and am beyond absolutely happy and satisfied and glad that I did, no regrets at all and i am already used to the Plus now...the bigger screen and 1080p panel, the OIS, and espcially the noticeably better battery life of the Plus makes it feel like a big upgrade from past iPhones and a legit upgrade...I am absolutely in love with my Plus, if you dont mind a Note 3 sized phone/phablet , the Plus is the way to go, I promise you wont be let down The thinness and tapered edges makes this device great to hold in hand IMO, and keeps it slim and very tolerable and lighter and skinnier in pocket due to its form factor OIS is the smallest reason to upgrade to the 6 Plus, but OIS most certainly does help in low light and makes the Plus produce better images then the 6, you picked a bad few examples, OIS helps quite a bit in low light On a 6 Plus here, came from a 6 , and have noticed absolutely no difference in performance, both scream and peform blazing fast and give fantastic graphical details in games alongside with superb high frame rate, Vainglory looks and plays beyond amazing on my Plus I agree to this, 6 Plus performs just as blazing fast and stupdenously fast as the 6 I switched from which I had own for over a month and a halfNothing is perfect -- iOS 8 has quite a few bugs, but I think these iPhones are awesome. For what you pay, it's actually a great deal, compared to previous iPhones, and 128GB at $399 is a great deal, considering the competitors at $100 less don't even get close to that (even with expandable). In order, these are my favorite iphones ever 1) original iPhone- still my favorite phone ever 2) iPhone 4, loved the industrial look of the new design 3) iPhone 6, love the way it looks and feels.I just want my once-pristine and flawless iPhone 6 Plus back to looking brand new and beautiful again (like I've kept ALLY of my previous iPhones looking like until trade-in.(not just the worst of iPhones but one of the worst designs of any modern smart phone).I'm super happy at how fast video focuses too, I think the 6s is going to be the ultimate, the s version iPhones always seem to perfect the camera. So, i can 100% assure you that even tho, istocknow is a GREAT tool to find iphones in this days, There are two complete different stocks for both kind of customers, the ones buying iphones online, and the ones that prefers to walk into the Apple Store.I think it's great though to read everyone's opinions on what size is perfect for them and how they are adapting to their new iPhones.Funny, I purchased the 5s and a few months later the 5c and think they're both wonderful, and real, iPhones.I've purchased iPhones for as long as they've been out there, sung the praises of Apple to the mountaintops, and slowly filled my home with Macbook, iMac, multiple iPads and iPods, not to mention spent $1000s in music in iTunes...and there's the rub, it's because I've been such a loyal customer, accustomed to wonderful and rapid service, that this botched rollout has raised my ire, this is not what I'm accustomed to with Apple, and galling is a great description of my feelings at present. These are very nice, I will be getting this one for my wife.... She killed already 2 screens in prior iPhones so it will be worth itThese tech websites are making these iPhone bending reports such a big deal, of coarse it's gonna bend if you put that much pressure on it, any phone would...People always find the smallest things to complain about, a lot wanted a big iPhone for such a long time now they got it but keep finding negative things about it, people want thin, light, indestructible and cheap and they'll still not be satisfied, simple solution of putting a case on it would solve the issue...out of at least 10 million iPhones only a small percentage of iPhones actually were bent but these reports are making this such big deal and people are actually going out and exchanging their phones smh...just my opinion thoughMost people put their iPhones in cases, you can get this great Spigen case in Slate today if you want it (I have it, I'm a Slate fan, it looks great). While there were a lot of enthusiastic Apple fans eager to get their hands on the new iPhones, yes, it was disconcerting to see others in line who really couldn't care less.I agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GBThey got me in by 10:30 and I was out of there with a new phone with a beautiful, perfect screen by around 11:15, despite the heavy traffic of people picking up iPhones ordered online.I am very excited for my new iPhone to arrive, I think it will be a great product, and possibly the best generation of iPhones yet.Now take a deep breath and be happy that we're lucky enough to even have iPhones in the first placeUGLY UGLY iPhones no matter what size.Maybe Android is worth a look for some people that aren't really happy about the new iPhones, or iOS in general. This might be of interest to some of you thinking about upgrading to one of the newer iPhones based on screen size: There's something nice about the fit of the items on the iPhone 5, although as always the extra resolution does help see more. The best iPhones ever.. A very promising Smartwatch (that looks great)The spare line was just that a spare unlimited data line because it was so cheap but I don't really use it in anything so I figured being able to cycle three upgrades (worth $450 a piece in subsidy on iphones) was worth having a 2gb plan instead of unlimited on that line, so long as my bill doesnt go (if I lost the $20 off)I mean you are a snob if you think asking a question like that to "potential snobs" would help you get any meaningful insight..Although this is the best forum site(among all smartphone forums) to have an actually neutral and intelligent discussion, you should ask it on a general tech forum imo to know what the non-iphone owners think of those with iphones. The glossy surface and fantastic colors make it look sleek and stylish and I love that it has a black screen (I'm not very attracted to white iPhones or the white screens on the iPod touch 5).That said, the 4 and thus presumably all the iphones have some very attractive and alluring aspects to them (see the Maserati and beautiful woman analogies above). However, early iPhones with the very first iOS versions of a kind could have really funny bugs.I mean I've re-sold iPhones and I've seen bad ones, but this one is the worst one I've seen ever.Just got the silver one, it's beautiful; my previous iPhones had all been black so I was tired of it and I'm not a fan of golden, silver one is just perfectSo been very lucky with lost iPhones and very kind people.Great post mate and im still loving mine, had a few snide comments at work about having a yellow phone but then caught the main one looking at new iphones on the web lol Still pick this thing up and love it, have gone white with 4, 4S and 5 but agree the black front totally works with the vibrant colours, white would just not give the same look im also amazed at the number of U turns from 5S back to 5C, love it, keep any more pics coming as love seeing them and it keeps this great thread going!Other phones don't bend in your pocket even when you are moving so no it isn't user error, it is either a design flaw or s bad batch of iPhones that came from one of the factories.Since t-mobile offers 15$ a month plan we can buy more iphones and port new lines into t-mobile up to five lines trade in some cheap verizon phones buy some cheap t-mobile phones and month later we get etf gift cards.64GB SG & 64GB GOLD ordered in store 9/22 Shipping window 10/30-11/10 GOLD shipped 11/11 out of Fort Worth no emails received from AT&T only one order traceable online (although both shown) online chat didn't work on Safari phone call at 3pm 11/11 rep says gold shipped SG pending GOLD shipped at 3:45 pm phone call to at&t was only way i can find status of SG phone they said a shipment of SG iPhones is expected from China in 2-3 days that the AT&T website is not perfect is not excusable considering their pocket books BE PATIENT FRIENDS - yours, too, will come no need to get yourselves upset or use unkind language towards hapless dronesBorg.... resistance is futile...you will be assimilated... you will be the same unsubscribed ps... am I the only one who thinks its weird that their iPhones are so important to them they cannot miss a call or text that its life or death each time... that given all that they actually put the thing down and walk away from it.This seems a bit shady, I would see the point with other phones with this kind of code, but with the iPhones, Apple maintains the imei white list.I suspect that even though some people simply got a bad Genius, many of the posters on this forum with bent iPhones that were denied a replacement phone were turned down due to their awful attitudes.I wasn't 100% happy with the keynote introduction of the new iPhones... they seemed mostly incremental and on paper weren't impressive but I was going to stick with my decision.Happy you're happy but understand that there are much better iPhones...Its so strange to me that Space Gray is more popular, since the iPhone 5 I was worried that Black iPhones might have become a thing of the past!I've never, never seen a bad photo on any of my older iPhones, my wife's 6 and my 6+ are also doing great, but ALL of them produce extremely bad pictures even if you zoom in just a tiny bit.Anyway, we just text and voice with the iPhones since we got tired of the very small screens and keyboards of our old "dumb" phones.People were screaming " give us bigger screens blah fingerprint sensor isn't spectacular blah" and now people are screaming " why are the new iPhones big wee the 5s is too big for my pocket"...FFS, im sitting here next to my front door waiting for my UPS 6 Plus delivery, which could come anytime from 9am-7pm, and now I have to deal with dorks from the forums complaining that their iPhones are horribly defective and atrocious.I'm excited for the new iPhones but I'm also happy with what I have now. Can't wait until it's revealed that Lord Zedd used his evil powers to steal all the iPhones, thus meaning that none of us are getting a damn thingI am afraid it might be the iPad 3 of the iPhones which had a worse performance than ipad 2 due to retinaIf they won't let you swap out your husbands iPhone for a dumb phone, then just do the above with two iPhones and a dumb phone, and use the proceeds from the sale of your iPhone 5 to defray the costs of your friend's iPhone 6.I've never owned a recent iPhone (the iPhone 4 was the last version that I owned) but in my experience all iPhones have been very laggy in opening apps, and especially bad at answering phone calls (many times the call ends before I can make the dumb "slide to answer" thingy actually work.I'm not saying there isn't flickering problem on some unit, on the contrary I'm sure there are defective units, I'm just saying it's not a problem for most of the iPhones .... Not completely sure, but I think refresh rate on a phone is not set by software.Check out this link: I'm just going to keep my iPhone 5s the way it is because it's barely noticeable (especially from a normal distance) and I've seen iPhones that are way worse than mine, so I definitely don't wanna trade it in for one that's worse. My 5S had the annoying resistive click when I pushed it certain ways, most frequently when I pressed it in the center and it made it really annoying to double press for multitasking but I am pleased to say that after close to 2 weeks usage it is now performing like it has on all the past iPhones.Alot of people have had there iPhones replaced for minor scuffing, apple don't care they will replace it for CUSTOMER satisfaction, please remember that the lowest model of the iPhone 5 costs 529 pounds and costs 140 pounds to produce, please don't comment if you're going to troll because you are a 'perfect human being' NO ONES PERFECT, take your music buying skills somewhere else, cause tbh no one cares.A Low Reflective Screen Mode For When You Wish To Read Ebooks On The iPhone Not as much real estate wasted on the front of the phone as current iPhones (The black part on the top and bottom of the iphone need to be much smaller, basically, almost all of the front of the phone should be the screen) It's ugly how much space/real estate is wasted on the current design of the front of the iPhone Front facing camera so that we could make videocalls, atleast while connected to Wifi N iChat Support Flash Support (I want to access hulu from my iphone damn it!)

process
Its when conditions aren't ideal, and/or when you want to control aspects of the imaging process, that a dedicated camera tends to shine.Happy to report that the process was simple and seamless.Best Buy and Target have been great to me with being honest with their process. But contrary to what the shift lead told me, I'm still kind of buying his switcharoo "hassle" process because it makes sense to me (at least for right now).I started out pretty patient, it's watching premier members be prioritized over the rest of us peons and now the worldwide release of my iPhone into the hands of those waaaaaaay behind me in the queue that have simple ruined this entire process for me, because there's always been something exciting about staying up until 2 (in my case), ordering your iPhone, and anticipating its arrival when you finally open the box and see your new phone before the vast majority of the world gets so close a look, there was a reward there, a magic, and that's just gone thanks to this release!I've been irritated with this whole process but I am furious about what happened to you. This thread has helped keep me sane during the entire waiting process for my phone....happy to say I'm about to head to my local UPS hub and pick up my two iPhone 6+'s.To the 99% of you who are beautiful, glorious, positive souls (including all of the UPSers who have helped us through the process), THANK YOU soooooo much for everything.I am so very happy that the phone will arrive on the 25th - its my birthday and all but I am mostly just happy to be done with this process - staying up late waiting on departure scans, waking up early to check arrival/departure/import scans - I am so very tired - no, nobody made me do it - I have enjoyed the anticipation and thrill of the chase, but I am still quite tired at this point and ready for a nap!I'm in the same boat... ordered 310am EST mine still says est 10/2 ship, i'm frustrated by not at AT&T it's the whole process Apple should have been honest and said 6 is available on the 19th and the 6 + shortly after if they did not have enough inventory and the production yields have been so low... just sayin'I think it must have taken me around 2 minutes to go through the whole process Delivering 9/19 I have been refreshing the Apple Store site for at least two hours (you never know - maybe the website could come up before the official start) and in the last hour I have been refreshing every 30 seconds... At least it was worth the wait..Two minutes after I ordered I saw that the delivery times started going north...I'm glad you're pleased with the process - enjoy your new babyI just think there's something amazing about seeing the world evolve from a place where phones were huge plastic boxes that were attached to the wall with a wire and computers were the whole floor of a city block and only NASA and the IRS had them to today where we're debating whether a SIX OUNCE computer that's about 70mm thick, no bigger than a checkbook, can process MILLIONS of times more data than those old machines, is a still and video camera, a photo editor, a phone, a text messager, a Web browser, a motion sensor, a game system, includes a built in monitor, a rechargable battery that will power it all day and a high definition screen... is too big to fit in our pockets when we bend over to tie our shoes. On the Walgreens process, while I agree donation prompts are annoying as is application selection (credit/debit) I find it shocking how many people online complain about having to confirm the total!Thats pathetic reasoning (mods before i get an automated email for using pathetic, I didnt call him patheitc I called his thought process pathetic)This process lasted about an hour and then he began to get really frantic and nervous.Stop being lazy and set the timer, your thumb moves maybe a total of 5 inches during the process, you can click the sleep button right after you see the timer pop up so she doesn't respond, or you could make an angry post on the internet and pretend like that will help.I'm really not terribly pleased with how this whole pre-order process has gone (from the late arrival compared to others who ordered after me, to the UPS shipping delays, and finally to the invalid delivery dates I have been quoted from both Apple and UPS).Weird, on my friend's 6+ order, it comes up with two orders when we call the 877 number, one with a weird order # that starts with a 789****** (which I can't search against on the AT&T site) that says backordered and another with the correct order number that says in process 907***********.The OP (if you would take some time and read instead of just looking for things to get mad about) was only saying the process is what he was mad about. It doesn't bring us pleasure, just challenges us to fight our inner angst and just asking us to go through that unpleasant mental process is enough to not make it worthwhile for him to post that pic because the bad feeling outweighs any good feeling we could have had after over coming the bad one. What I find annoying with the Touch ID/Passcode is that if you try and delete an email from the lockscreen, it then brings up the keypad for your passcode, and then goes back to the lockscreen...makes the whole process a lot more cumbersome.People are getting shipments earlier than the expected ship dates, and seems to me that people are settling for the smaller of the two phones because they are super impatient and screwing up the canceling process and putting themselves in a worse situation.Just sent this email to the address that was suggested earlier....couldnt be more disappointed in AT&T right now: Good morning Mr. Stephenson, First off let me start by telling you how utterly disappointed I am in the preorder process for the iphone 6 plus.Buy cheap phone from t-mobile ($50) and trade in a cheap Android phone I have laying around the house I don't use, stay on for 2-3 months for ETF rebate to process, then cancel service .Not excited about the process, but glad it's available to correct something if it's wrong.
carrier
just be very nice and ask them to "please help you"....this is what u switched too..blah and that you are so happy with the service you would not want to leave for another carrier but have tested another network and will port the # over and save $'s by doing so.It's always worth asking around to see how a carrier performs in your area, and likewise it's well worth keeping an eye on other carriers' plans--even if you just use that info for leverage when talking to your own carrier's retentions department.I also purchased a basic phone as a second line.... ATT customer service was worthless...they didn't know what they were talking about and was always getting the run around..ontop of that the LG basic phone I ordered was in stock but they never shipped it to me and its always says backordered.....I wanted unlocked but still hesitant to give false SSN or risk an ETF from the carrierHowever, all are minor, and the nice part of owning an Apple product is knowing that they will get fixed in short order and that fix will get to me immediately, not whenever the manufacturer or carrier deem me worthy.I was lucky enough to score one at a carrier store and was able to have an enjoyable line experience chatting up Apple/iPhone/general geekery with fellow people in line with me.All of us who got up before 3 am in the eastern time zone, sat around refreshing the web site for over 2 hours, and couldn't go to a carrier site or the app because we are T-Mobile customers, and then finally gave up and went to bed, and then later woke up and found the shipping times were late October, deserve some kind of acknowledgement. No carrier bloat, fast updates, great camera, everything working smoothly - outstanding.Except you financed your phone through your carrier at the generous $0 down, 20 payments etc... Great.Nice and now if your company buys iPhone 5S (thats if they buy at full price rather than on contract) they wouldn't have to make employees change phones should they wish to change networks if they provided everyone with Verizon 5C/5S models :-) Glad your enjoying your services and iPhone - at the end of the day its your best experience and what ever model + carrier gets you that - is what matters. It depends on your needs, Straight talk says Unlimited - however no outside MVNO carrier is going to give you true unlimited data to be honest, so that aside you have to measure your data usages - I on average use 1-1.5GB data, so 2GB has been great for me because I rely on WiFi for roughly 40% of the time and I also avoid videos over cellular as they take big bites out of the monthly data usage.Nice to see my Elite carrier initials work Looks awesomeCompetition is great, and more carrier options with more data or unlimited data is great.I just get tired of people complaining about reception and service, but they stick with the carrier because they are afraid of change, or too lazy to do the research.I had previously considered getting the Sony Xperia Z Ultra, but decided against it as it was not offered by a US carrier, and using Android in the past had left a bad taste in my mouth.Sprint is the worst carrier sorry for your bad luckits pretty damn ironic, how you say "i have unlimited data" and then you say "you guys think you need storage, that means everybody does" i have an unlimited plan that was grandfathered, to get an unlimited plan in the US without signing up for a crap carrier (sprint) is nonexistent.I sometimes giggle internally when other people in contracts get limited and frustrated by asinine carrier rules.Used sndeep service to check it and this is what I got: Model: IPHONE 6 SPACE GRAY 64GB TMOBILE-USA IMEI: 3520XXXXXXXXXX MEID: Serial Number: F1XXXXXXXXXXXXX ICCID: Bluetooth MAC Address: XXXXXXXXXXXXX WiFi MAC Address: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Activated: false Next Tether Activation Policy: Multi-Mode Unlock Original Carrier: Multi-Mode Unlock Network Unlocked: false So, it looks like as soon as the phone can dial into Apple, the unlock will happen if I understand this report correctly.Carrier stores are the worst of the worst.Where one carrier is bad, all are usually bad.think twice about sprint, their the worst carrier in the states, very unfriendly towards consumers, harsh unlock policies, terrible 3G speeds (below 500kbps) you'll be better off with a MVNO using at&t infrastructure like a gsm version of straight talkMost greedy and worst carrier ever...They are horrible and the WORST carrier.I just take an opportunity when an acquaintance of me grew very angry with her carrier and got convinced she must go out from a bad postpaid plan. The circumstances under which someone buys a phone with a bad ESN without inquiring of the carrier to determine its status may provide ample reason to call into question the ethics of the seller or the buyer, but the likelihood of a strong correlation between a bad ESN and harmful viruses or malware is slight. But I'm moving soon and I'm afraid I won't have AT&T signal where my new house is; might have to switch to our local CDMA carrier.
