Lots of great features + great WiFi.Cradlepoint MBR1400 with usb Pantech UML295 is a great enterprise class router with external antenna capabilities for the 4g and WiFi Jetpack works great for basic home WiFi / 4g access but MBR gives you full router options and you can always take the usb Pantech UML295 with you when you travelI am happy to report impressive battery life since the update so it seems to be working well on my iPhone 6 iPhone 6 64GB (AT&T) // iPad Mini (Wifi) // 2013 MacBook Pro Retina- dead pixel - backlight bleed - uniformity (one side darker, yellower) - smudge / smear inside glass - dust inside screen - dust or dirt inside glass (outside of screen area) - recessed / uneven volume button (on one but not another) - sticky vibration button (normal ones have a nice firm click) - uneven pressure / sticky / unbalance on sleep wake button (normal ones have a nice click to it) - uneven home button pressure (perfect ones have a nice click to it, but this is personal preference) - uneven gap when assembled (run your finger on the edge on each side and compare for your 6/6+) - dust inside camera lens - general cosmetic scratches / chips / dings (Apple logo, aluminum, buttons, sim slot) And this list hasn't even covered technical issues like wifi, Bluetooth, Touch ID, vibration rattle, etc.Nah, its great other wise and voice over wifi should be available soon.I had been refreshing since 245am and I have been kicking myself since thursday night for not turning off wifi and going cellular to place my order cause all the refreshing locked me out.I used to use the virgin deal , but after being given a couple of out of contract iPhone 4 we went with Genius wireless, we have three phones on the verizon network for just $75 each per yr, there are some other deals for time, data etc, but for pretty low users this is perfect, I only use wifi for data ...worth checking their plans...def a plus for teenagers too, no overspending from my teen.I'd love to see like the post above some form of waterproofing so that I'm not afraid to use my iPhone in the rain also and I've sent this suggestion to apple, a small translucent ring around the home button that has a pulsating ring of light for missed calls, messages, email etc if not then a led somewhere for the same purpose, a smart wifi option so it switches off once you leave your home wifi and will come back on once your home or it can remember where other wifi locations are and switch back on once you get to that area. But it can't be a router issue because my sister's iPhone 4S gets great wifi speeds, and my mom's Note 3 gets really really great wifi speeds.Mine doesn't rattle, neither it restarts by itself, the touch id works perfectly every single time , I have no problems with signal or wifi and the battery last all day using it heavily; I wanted to change my 5s 16g for a 32g but now I'm honestly scared to see all the problems other people have with their phone, I think I got lucky, and now I won't change it.Wife has iPhone 4S 16GB White iPad 2 16GB Wifi Accessories:- 2 Apple Battery Chargers - Good deal and really practical Magic Trackpad for the Macbook Air Magic Mouse for the Macbook Air Apple Wireless Keyboard for the Macbook Air Apple Superdrive for the Macbook Air (rarely ever use it)It depends on your needs, Straight talk says Unlimited - however no outside MVNO carrier is going to give you true unlimited data to be honest, so that aside you have to measure your data usages - I on average use 1-1.5GB data, so 2GB has been great for me because I rely on WiFi for roughly 40% of the time and I also avoid videos over cellular as they take big bites out of the monthly data usage.Hi everyone , I'm here to inform you all that I've solved this problem after battling for hours , I red a lot of post on various forums and tried , changed/removed security/encryption standards , changed DNS , Tried different channels , toggled genius in privacy ... etc but none worked I have a 5 year old netgear wifi router which worked just perfect with ipad , iPhone 4 & 4s but since I got i5 , I've faced serious wifi issues like , average browsing , ultra slow app store download speeds ... for a 10mb app it took more than 15 mins to complete , on 20 MBps broadband line .. After trying every solution out there I tried my friends Belkin and Netgear N series router , and everything worked perfect @ blazing speeds on both belkin & N series, found the difference almost instantly(on all my old devices as well) .The wifi dropping might be a hardware problem with HTC, but the user interface was not very friendly or intuitive.Used sndeep service to check it and this is what I got: Model: IPHONE 6 SPACE GRAY 64GB TMOBILE-USA IMEI: 3520XXXXXXXXXX MEID: Serial Number: F1XXXXXXXXXXXXX ICCID: Bluetooth MAC Address: XXXXXXXXXXXXX WiFi MAC Address: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Activated: false Next Tether Activation Policy: Multi-Mode Unlock Original Carrier: Multi-Mode Unlock Network Unlocked: false So, it looks like as soon as the phone can dial into Apple, the unlock will happen if I understand this report correctly. The iPhone 5 has bad battery life, a craptastic cellular connection and shoddy WiFi connection...Nice Wifi numbers but if the others are LTE then they're pretty terribleNothing really I have my wifi and Bluetooth on, but I turned off most the the location services I don't need and left only the ones I need like camera, find my iphone etc, with everything thing on I should get close to 7-9 hours, but to be honest I mostly used it so far for normal usage, no map usage today such as Waze, it drains battery power like mad, I'll post update lasted tomorrow after using Waze to show the difference in battery power.I was really worried to hand them the phone as it was FLAWLESS (no yellow tint, scuffs, bad wifi...).Seems to me WiFi issues are getting worse and worse. Some iPhone 5's have pretty erratic wifi behavior, upgrading my router made a huge difference, was long overdue anyway.avoiding Wifi, if you HAD to and spend the $120, then you would just be a moron and your points are worthless, or you just have more money than you know what to do with and your argument is also worthless.Live streaming is almost impossible over iPhone 5 and wifi,, buffers all the time,, but works fine on LTE and 4g,, weird,,and i do have fast speeds on wifi ,, very strangeObviously you will get worse battery life on 3G or LTE..point is people were getting worse battery life before even on wifi...thats the point of posting the differences.I find it ironic that the worst wifi speeds I get is from the ATT network at my local Starbuck. In my testing using the numeric numbers for signal strength I have had the same results 100% of the time... if signal is 0-65 it's good wifi with great speed, but if it is 65+ forget it.. ugly, super slow.A Low Reflective Screen Mode For When You Wish To Read Ebooks On The iPhone Not as much real estate wasted on the front of the phone as current iPhones (The black part on the top and bottom of the iphone need to be much smaller, basically, almost all of the front of the phone should be the screen) It's ugly how much space/real estate is wasted on the current design of the front of the iPhone Front facing camera so that we could make videocalls, atleast while connected to Wifi N iChat Support Flash Support (I want to access hulu from my iphone damn it!)

just be very nice and ask them to "please help you"....this is what u switched too..blah and that you are so happy with the service you would not want to leave for another carrier but have tested another network and will port the # over and save $'s by doing so.I personally agree that sprint network is bad but in couple spots is really great. If I wasn't on a family plan only paying for unlimited data then I would be on one of the following: - Verizons $60/mo 2gb + unlim talk & text plan (includes phone subsidy worth $18.75/mo) - Crickets $35/mo 1gb + unlim talk & text plan - Brightspot Mobiles $29/mo 3gb + 300 min + unlim text Gun to my head right now I'd pick Verizon's deal, best combination of great network and value on an individual currently running IMO.Even though I'm quite happy with T-Mobile because it offers great service for my use pattern and priorities, I'm not going to recommend it to anyone who wants/needs the broadest network coverage possible, and is willing to pay more to get it.I used to use the virgin deal , but after being given a couple of out of contract iPhone 4 we went with Genius wireless, we have three phones on the verizon network for just $75 each per yr, there are some other deals for time, data etc, but for pretty low users this is perfect, I only use wifi for data ...worth checking their plans...def a plus for teenagers too, no overspending from my teen.Your phone will work just fine....HSPA+ is a great network with great speedslol I can agree with his "fact" because I have met in this day and age some people who don't know all of the US states or where some are...or have never travelled outside of their home state....not to mention [Altho irrelevant] many people that don't even know where Canada is.... As for T-Mobile, I can't wait for them to launch the 700MHz LTE -- that is going to be great and ill definitely give them a go once I have the next iPhone thats compatible with their network! You agree not to misuse the Service or Device, including but not limited to: (a) reselling or rebilling our Service; they should provide it to me at cost since their network is awful.No...because they have a terrible network and everyone I know that has Sprint has bad service.I wouldn't consider Sprint because of its network but I'm glad T-Mobile and Spring are fighting it out because I feel like it puts pricing pressure on AT&T and Verizon (who screw people over with their absurd pricing). So your outrage over the unlock policy (and I get it because it's draconian and stupid) is strange considering that you want to STAY on the Sprint network. He allowed the network to deteriorate, made the bad decision to buy Nextel and the board replaced him with Dan Hesse, who himself is not the greatest.Yup, no point making a nice phone such as an iPhone 5 a brick on T-Mobile's horrendous 3G network running on 1900 MHz.I have been a T-Mobile iPhone user for about a three years now..at first i had to deal with the terrible speed of EDGE since the iPhone is not built to run on T-Mobile's network..about two months ago i was finally able to get 3G on my iPhone 5 thanks to T-Mobile's attempt to upgrade their network to be able to drag more iPhone users to join their network...I'll admit at first i was really excited about this but after two weeks of 3G coming in and out, weak signal, dropping calls i finally said i've had enough, my iPhone would drop from 3G to EDGE at random times and even go NO SERVICE!!I find it ironic that the worst wifi speeds I get is from the ATT network at my local Starbuck.

cellular
I'm astounded that people are amazed turning off the cellular modem saves battery...I agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GBI had been refreshing since 245am and I have been kicking myself since thursday night for not turning off wifi and going cellular to place my order cause all the refreshing locked me out. While wireless phones are great for mobility, it is funny how we've gone from wired phones offering crystal clear clarity for even international calls to tolerating low quality cellular calls, not being able to make/receive calls indoors, or dead zones outside major metro areas. It depends on your needs, Straight talk says Unlimited - however no outside MVNO carrier is going to give you true unlimited data to be honest, so that aside you have to measure your data usages - I on average use 1-1.5GB data, so 2GB has been great for me because I rely on WiFi for roughly 40% of the time and I also avoid videos over cellular as they take big bites out of the monthly data usage. The iPhone 5 has bad battery life, a craptastic cellular connection and shoddy WiFi connection...Also bad battery life, a craptastic cellular connection, and a shoddy Wi-Fi connection. If he's on cellular data then his signal is very ideal, if not perfect. If you have every feature activated and your brightness above 50% and a bad cellular connection then your battery life will be much worse.

lte
I think Spark is just their fancy marketing term for TD-LTE in Band 41 and 800MHz in Band 26, sort of like how "XLTE" is just a fancy marketing term for Verizon's AWS Band 4 LTE service. This was always a common problem with GSM...always found it kind of funny...I've never heard of it being a problem with LTE and I know its not an issue with CDMA technology's like CDMA2000 and UMTS/HSPA+.Good savings, great call quality, great LTE speed...Coverage is exactly the same as AT&T (perfect in my area) and LTE speeds are great.great service and great LTE coverage.Depends on your area, if you're lucky enough to have Spark or LTE in general, it can be pretty amazing. In areas I had GREAT LTE signal strength with my 5S.... on my 6 Plus is more on 4G... toggle airplane mode on/off..... goes back to fast amazing LTE, 3-5 mins later back to 4G... without even moving...They should have just done this iPhone Star MEGA iPhone MEGA iPhone 6S Mini iPhone Young iPhone ACE 4G LTE iPhone 4G LTE A iPhone ROUND S iPhone BEND PLUS S iPhone EDGE iPhone NO EDGE iPhone PRO iPhone ROYAL iPhone SuperSmart iPhone SuperDumb iPhone Kaptuer iPhone Patented iPhone Wonderful iPhone Magical iPhone Bigger than Bigger iPhone The U2 U Don't Want And that's just the first six months!I am excited for the iPhone for life plan they launched and ordered my 6+ Space Grey 16GB online...I am going to try out the store on Friday to see if I can get one that way faster though I used to live in a more remote area and Verizon was great there with the i5 and LTE but now that I am moving to a much bigger city Sprint service really won't be a problem at all and I'm excited for UNLIMITED data planHaving a FAST LTE on a plan that is not unlimited can be problematic so it would be nice to have Sprint as an option (of course assuming you are in a Sprint LTE service area).Great coverage and impressive LTE speeds.I've had both T-Mobile and Virgin Mobile (Sprint towers) and my ST 5S runs off AT&T towers, so therefore I get great coverage and great LTE.A little more info in the thread title would be nice Virgin Mobile is great though if you have Sprint LTE in your area.lol I can agree with his "fact" because I have met in this day and age some people who don't know all of the US states or where some are...or have never travelled outside of their home state....not to mention [Altho irrelevant] many people that don't even know where Canada is.... As for T-Mobile, I can't wait for them to launch the 700MHz LTE -- that is going to be great and ill definitely give them a go once I have the next iPhone thats compatible with their network!I too wouldn't switch to T-Mobile until their LTE 700 rolls out, I think its going to be a great improvement and worth switching...hopefully T-Mobile can also start working on suburbs/entire nation rather than just concentrating on major cities.End result is, I'm not the least bit impressed with new LTE service download speeds are just as bad if not worst that with old sim and it cost me about $300 in upgrades to find this out.I was on the T-Mobile family plan for almost 6 months, and while the price is great, customer service is great, the actual service is just ok. Too much switching of LTE to 4G in the same spot killing my battery, loss of signal even though i have 3-4 bars, and not having any of these issues on AT&T prepaid, I made the switch back as of today. Now after three months of stellar, very fast unlimited LTE connectivity without throttling even when using over 6GB of data each month, I'm very pleased with T-Mobile and my Note 3.I've enjoyed using between 7 & 8 GB of fast LTE (clocked as fast as my AT&T LTE) and extremely happy with the stellar Galaxy Note 3.Simplified: AT&T MVNO's: - AT&T GoPhone [I currently on $60 plan and its great] - AIO Wireless [Owned by AT&T] - Straight Talk [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Net10 [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - H2O Wireless - Go Red Pocket Mobile T-Mobile MVNO's: - GoSmart Mobile [Owned by T-Mobile] - Straight Talk [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Net10 [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Simple Mobile [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Ultra Mobile - Spot Mobile - Solavei - Platinum Tel - Metro PCS - iWireless - Walmart Family Mobile - 35orLess Sprint MVNO's: - Virgin Mobile - Straight Talk [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Net10 [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] Verizon MVNO's: - PagePlus - Straight Talk [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Net10 [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] If T-Mobile gave you the boot, go with AT&T MVNO's and I recommend: - #1 Straight Talk [Fast 4G + LTE Speeds slightly higher ping rates] - #2 GoPhone [Fastest 4G + LTE Speeds and Lowest Ping] - #3 AIO Wireless [Slightly cheaper than GoPhone with Fast 4G + LTE Speeds with slightly higher ping rates] Net10 and Straight Talk = Exact same except net10 = $5 more unless you do "Auto payment" T-Mobile MVNO's list has grown over the past couple of years maybe because its cheaper for companies to use its network vs AT&T but do note that you get LTE and much better coverage going with AT&T MVNO vs T-Mobile.USCC is a perfect fit for them due to the amount of rural LTE already deployed in the Northeast and it perfectly complements their 700B/C holdings.3G is great and LTE has been amazing.Kind of nice to have LTE at such a cheaper price :] P.S.Your speeds are horrible, but with a LTE capable device speeds are respectable. The funny thing is I get great LTE at my house where I don't need it because I'm on Wi-Fi most the time.AT&T is going to dominate at the end of the day, I like many have also recently switched to AT&T GoPhone $60 plan, which works great and LTE speeds are amazing!LTE in Chicago, IL near Downtown on this plan :-) I have done half a dozen speed tests, over 500 emails this month, messaging, google maps GPS navigation on probably 200-300miles worth, few hours of pandora streaming and I've used 1.2GB of data this month....still got 8 more days and 800MB remaining, this plan is great!compared to 4G LTE is amazing, Tmobile is doing a great job.3G sucks big time on Sprint but if you are in a LTE area like I am then it's really nice speed and unlimited data wise.Amazing LTE network, too bad that if you're not grandfathered into unlimited data you can barely use it.It's hilarious how Sprint and TMo users are constantly banging on about their great HSPA/EVDO speeds and are in complete denial that LTE exists these days. But LTE will be able to bring that to respectable speeds and with unlimited, it will be great. That said, I've loved my iP5 - LTE, the beautiful screen/color accuracy and speed of the device are wonderful.Tmobile won't launch lte till 2013 and even then it will probably only be in a select few cities so its not a bad idea to buy the verizon version Nice I traded my att iPhone 5 for the Verizon one just because I will probably never have tmobiles lte in my area and the Verizon version supports a lot more bands and one day I might go to Verizon they have lte in my area3 email accounts on push moderate to heavy browsing moderate gaming LTE on all the time Love my battery life.Oh I'm sorry I wasn't aware that when LTE first started rolling out that the phones that support the technology had great battery life, we're amazing thin, and the LTE network was in more than a hand full of cities. The iPhone 5S A1530 supports the following: Model A1530*: UMTS/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz); GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz); FDD-LTE (Bands 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20); TD-LTE (Bands 38, 39, 40) I googled it in about 15 seconds... Anyways its perfect for Europe AND Asia but in the US Its not going to work great with LTE.One time I took my SIM card out in a bad signal area and put it bag in and I had no service for about an hour even when I got back onto the Interstate from a friends house....something weird with Verizon and LTE iPhone's....In my case, sprint's (fake) coverage map was showing that there was excellent LTE coverage, but I had to be lucky to even get 1-2 bars of LTE, and the max speed was 1.5 Mbps at most.I switched to Verizon because I was tired of waiting on sprint's non existant LTE network and fed up with bad call quality as well as dropped calls.VZW: Pro's: VoLTE Better LTE coverage Con's: Horrible International Rates/Plans VoLTE speeds seem to be slower than 3G for many (still early though) Terrible Customer Service Tons of "extra's" popping up AT&T: Pro's: GSM Voice+Data - 4G, not LTE, but seems faster than VZW's VoLTE Best International Plans Con's: Abysmal LTE coverage I've found both carriers to be fairly equal with dropped calls, my concerns are international rates, VoLTE on VZW, AT&T's LTE commitment.Meanwhile, Apple deliberately make things confusing on their LTE info page, listing only the US models as LTE compatible with US carriers, a claim that appears to be misleading and false.$60 less per month is great, but not great enough given the coverage difference, especially because the LTE per line drops to 1 GB (really not enough) in 2015.It's not perfect with buildings, I go from LTE outdoors to 2G in the hallway to 4G in my office, but for the value it's amazing.Nice Wifi numbers but if the others are LTE then they're pretty terribleIt's also not uncommon to see areas that only have 1-2 bars of LTE coverage, which is weird, because if you switch your phone back to 3G, Verizon rarely has coverage under 4 bars. They are but T-mobile has passed Sprint LTE wise and I'm not fond of counting data so that's where I will land.I actually had my iPhone 5 replaced today which had the same issue but it was replaced because it was getting noticeably worse service and there was a lot of dust in the camera lens which was throwing off pictures and also the phone was dropping service but anyway, my battery drain is gone, plus especially on "4G" not LTE, its not draining even close to as bad as before even with only 1-3 dots of serviceSure it was fast and the LTE was amazing, but I absolutely hated picking it up and how cheap it felt.Frankly, matching VZW EVDO speeds is pretty damn pathetic after all these years, especially when VZW has went on record to say they will be 100% LTE by the end of 2013.I already tried to get used to the no surf and talk while on data and the annoying "multiple calls" thing when you get another call while being on one, it says multiple, if you hang up with one, the other goes away and rings you back, beyond weird, i realize this is a CDMA thing along w/ super slow 3g when LTE is not avail.I'm sure they'll be very sad to see you go though lol... You know, when you think threatening to take your non contract data hogging LTE elsewhere will convince them not to drop your precious unlimited data.Live streaming is almost impossible over iPhone 5 and wifi,, buffers all the time,, but works fine on LTE and 4g,, weird,,and i do have fast speeds on wifi ,, very strangeObviously you will get worse battery life on 3G or LTE..point is people were getting worse battery life before even on wifi...thats the point of posting the differences.
lte signal
signal
Maybe I'm just lucky enough to be in a great signal area.In areas I had GREAT LTE signal strength with my 5S.... on my 6 Plus is more on 4G... toggle airplane mode on/off..... goes back to fast amazing LTE, 3-5 mins later back to 4G... without even moving...Range is great for me; I live on a five acre hobby farm and the signal has a great radius within my property. Now Verizon has the perfect package for me, outstanding signal strength and advanced VoLTE capabilities. Now Verizon has the perfect package for me, outstanding signal strength and advanced VoLTE capabilities.Great signal in a lot of places and really great 4G speeds.great signal where i live and to most places i go to, except at my part time job (2 days/week) which is quite understandable as it's located in the boondocks. My battery life is related to phone/wifi signal - I can get really great battery life when I am in area with strong signal, when I am at work (mostly metal building), where the phone signal is really bad, I do not get through work day.The Nexus 5 for me has been great, it was my first 4G phone (London) and signal is great, battery was a bit meh but I wiped my phone and has since doubled, the camera is good enough, the 4.2.2 update fixed the slow focusing.Lovely unlimited data, 15mb all over London, but it just went bad over the course of the last 24 months too the point I had under 1MB or no signal most of the time.I was on the T-Mobile family plan for almost 6 months, and while the price is great, customer service is great, the actual service is just ok. Too much switching of LTE to 4G in the same spot killing my battery, loss of signal even though i have 3-4 bars, and not having any of these issues on AT&T prepaid, I made the switch back as of today.Mine doesn't rattle, neither it restarts by itself, the touch id works perfectly every single time , I have no problems with signal or wifi and the battery last all day using it heavily; I wanted to change my 5s 16g for a 32g but now I'm honestly scared to see all the problems other people have with their phone, I think I got lucky, and now I won't change it.If a battery is dropping 10% in 8 hours just sitting there asleep doing nothing, I'd say that's not satisfactory unless you're in an area with bad cell coverage and it's fighting to keep a signal or something. One time I took my SIM card out in a bad signal area and put it bag in and I had no service for about an hour even when I got back onto the Interstate from a friends house....something weird with Verizon and LTE iPhone's....You probably had a bad signal during class - a bad cell signal will constantly be scanning for signal and eat up more battery life.I had to go through 6 iPhone 5 devices because one had horrid crackling during calls (every call, to any number and however strong the signal was), four had loose buttons (including the one I ended up keeping), and three had nasty scratches on the casing (as well as loose buttons on two of them).EE signal and speeds are great, but their data allowance is just terrible. It's also very bad where I live (Essex) and they have given me a Home Signal box which works great but it doesn't ultimately solve the problem. The Verizon one will either keep searching for a cell signal (bad for battery life), or won't have functional GPS (bad if you're out hiking or camping). For the first months since I purchase the 5s, the battery life was terrible, I've read over the net that the 3-4 hours that I got from 100%, was possible with few degrading variables such as heat, low signal strength , higher brightness, etc.If he's on cellular data then his signal is very ideal, if not perfect. But I'm moving soon and I'm afraid I won't have AT&T signal where my new house is; might have to switch to our local CDMA carrier.I have been a T-Mobile iPhone user for about a three years now..at first i had to deal with the terrible speed of EDGE since the iPhone is not built to run on T-Mobile's network..about two months ago i was finally able to get 3G on my iPhone 5 thanks to T-Mobile's attempt to upgrade their network to be able to drag more iPhone users to join their network...I'll admit at first i was really excited about this but after two weeks of 3G coming in and out, weak signal, dropping calls i finally said i've had enough, my iPhone would drop from 3G to EDGE at random times and even go NO SERVICE!!Worse battery life i've had out of the 3 charges but this time ive been at work where signal is worse so hense battery dropping quicker. No 3G coverage at work.I know my router isn't that great and in the one area of my house I spend the most time after work (by the TV) the signal isn't stellar. In my testing using the numeric numbers for signal strength I have had the same results 100% of the time... if signal is 0-65 it's good wifi with great speed, but if it is 65+ forget it.. ugly, super slow.
wireless
All the things we thought the 6 would be, but wasn't: Wireless charging Waterproof Two day battery 20Mp camera Bezel-less Two gigs ram at least LED notification Durable Sapphire screen No ugly antenna bands No ugly protruding lens No bad screens escaping QC inspection Stable iOS Smooth iOS This would make a phone with paying a thousand bucks for.- It's thin - It's beautiful - Well Designed - Vibrant screen - Fast processor and fast wireless - Great camera (though noise reduction could be turned down) - Amazing App Collection - Runs much cooler than my 4S - Larger, more readable screenI agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GBI want to stick with Apple, but for me to do so here's what I need: - A smarter, more intuitive and forward thinking iOS 8 - A better camera with improved flash - Sapphire screen (Not a fan of screen protectors, also not a fan of scratches on my screen) - Wireless Charging (Probably the feature I want most on the next iPhone) -Better battery life (No real complaints about the battery life of my 5, but improvements can, and should, be made whenever possible) - NFC (I want to link my debit card to my phone for fast payments) - An aluminum back that doesn't scratch up so easily when using the phone without a case (The iPhone 5 is gorgeous and looks/feels best when used without a case. While wireless phones are great for mobility, it is funny how we've gone from wired phones offering crystal clear clarity for even international calls to tolerating low quality cellular calls, not being able to make/receive calls indoors, or dead zones outside major metro areas.I used to use the virgin deal , but after being given a couple of out of contract iPhone 4 we went with Genius wireless, we have three phones on the verizon network for just $75 each per yr, there are some other deals for time, data etc, but for pretty low users this is perfect, I only use wifi for data ...worth checking their plans...def a plus for teenagers too, no overspending from my teen.Simplified: AT&T MVNO's: - Good deal and really practical Magic Trackpad for the Macbook Air Magic Mouse for the Macbook Air Apple Wireless Keyboard for the Macbook Air Apple Superdrive for the Macbook Air (rarely ever use it)This is great, looks like AT&T is a winner here lol, But to anyone looking to save money Straight Talk is your best bet and you can't go wrong with $45/Month, If you do need 1.5GB+ Data then ya its worth sticking with AT&T because you can have up to 3GB but also at a cost of $65++ H2O Wireless has a $25/Month Plan that you can use in any combination....if you strictly use it for talking then you can have 1000Min/Month = Approx 16.7Hours/17Hours of Talk/Month!They're website seems absurd to pick a decent plan from and if they're wireless customer service is anything like their internet service, I don't think I'll be happy with them.Wireless charging and waterproofing are some gimmicks which would be nice to have but nothing more and not even close to completely new and innovative (for me I never thought, damn I wish my iPhone is waterproof/can be charged wirelessly).my speeds have been terrible on h2o wireless throughout the USA (just on a road trip) and especially bad here in san francisco. Conclusion: It seems that AT&T is giving the MVNO's run for their money with its AIO brand as its beating its own GoPhone plan prices and Net10 seems to have pulled a bad move with its pricing as its worse than AT&T's AIO Wireless prices
house
Would also be nice for us to be able to "hit the ground running" when we land (we have a ton to accomplish with a house to finalize purchasing on and twins on the way shortly) so I'd rather not have to deal with all the phone activation and switching hassle after moving when we have time to deal with it now. It's nice and worth the wait, I think being trapped in the house ALL DAYI live in a town with beautiful rolling hills of forested trees, my house is actually on the edge of a park and surrounded with beautiful trees in the back and out front. While I'm more than happy with those numbers (my 4s battery was shot and giving me 2-3 hours max just sitting on the table) I have to be honest, last charge it showed similar numbers so I left the house with 30% thinking it would be more than enough to last me while I went out for a bit and wouldn't need to charge it til I got home...phone died within 3 hours. The funny thing is I get great LTE at my house where I don't need it because I'm on Wi-Fi most the time.Picked up a 64gb White this am, and happy to say it is perfect, just like the black 64gb that was delivered to my house yesterday!20 nm 64 bit apple A8> 28nm Snapdragon 805 Cameras are both top notch and cream of the crop , no real , clear winner there Touch ID is king fingerprint scanner sensor and the Note 4 swipe with your thumb BS is not as good note 4 has the best OLED display ever while the 6 Plus has the best LCD smartphone display ever, both are top notch, 6 has a little less resolution but still good Funny thing is that 6 and 6 Plus uses actually newer technology and more cutting edge hardware, a SoC on a 20nm manufacturing node custom designed by Apple In house own ISP now too Both are great devices though but people who say it uses "2012 technology" and "lol wow only 1.4 ghz dual core my Galaxy S3 is faster with 1.5 ghz dual core" just have no understanding at all on all this Fanboys gonna be fanboys , but the 6 Plus and 6 are actually one of the best if not the best peforming smartphone right now on both the CPU/GPU side Totally wrong , 6 and 6 Plus completly utterly destroys anything from 2012, the SoC (which houses the CPU/GPU/ISP/RAM) basically everything, is quite different and not similiar to tech specs back then ARMv8 custom design is drastically different then what has been used in the past What people dont understand at all is that you want faster better single core performance and better IPC always, espcially on mobile devices, this is beyond crucial and key for mobile developing (for obvious reasons; these devices using batteries and thermal constraints etc etc) Same thing with why a Intel quad core is noticeably faster then a AMD quad core thats clocked alot higher speeds then the Intel quad core Its because Intels single core performance and architecture design is SUPERIOR, very little people understand what even makes a CPU design, single core performance and IPC is beyond important and crucial and key for mobile , why would someone want to deal with more weaker single cores and code for all them and try to get parrlellization and efficiency on all cores properly when it is a headache already developing software and games for a bunch of cores on desktop(and multicore processors started coming out 8 years ago) Throwing more cores at it does not increase performance for situations and problems automatically linearly 6 way wide superscaler 1.4 ghz Enhanced cyclone cores on ARM's latest architecture design (ARMv8 or 64 bit) OP I suggest you look up on the A7/A8 details , it is more comparable to Intel Haswell processors then it is to what Qualcomm offers actually in terms of performanceOne time I took my SIM card out in a bad signal area and put it bag in and I had no service for about an hour even when I got back onto the Interstate from a friends house....something weird with Verizon and LTE iPhone's....So my house has been notorious for having bad reception (Verizon customer).Buy cheap phone from t-mobile ($50) and trade in a cheap Android phone I have laying around the house I don't use, stay on for 2-3 months for ETF rebate to process, then cancel service .I agree...I **need** an AT&T Microcell (horrible reception at my house); they should provide it to me at cost since their network is awful. But I'm moving soon and I'm afraid I won't have AT&T signal where my new house is; might have to switch to our local CDMA carrier.I know my router isn't that great and in the one area of my house I spend the most time after work (by the TV) the signal isn't stellar.

Having a cell phone is why I was able to get to my gpa at the hospital in his last lucid minutes... And was able to connect with him and tell him I love him and share all our amazing memories that we had together. It's kind of funny though, people laugh at how big cell phones were in the 80s, but now they want big phones.I agree, seems too high, but I'm tired of seeing people comparing cell plans of Great Britain (for example) to the whole USAI'll take my college degree, great job, and my great cell phone service and you can call me low end all day long, but at the end of the day (and my contract) I will have paid less for the same device you have.If a battery is dropping 10% in 8 hours just sitting there asleep doing nothing, I'd say that's not satisfactory unless you're in an area with bad cell coverage and it's fighting to keep a signal or something.I don't think 14 is too young to have an iPhone, BUT, my sister (my nephew's Mom) is very strict when it comes to cell phones, she won't let him bring it to school, she is actually thinking of getting a cheap phone, like a prepaid phone, for him to take to school. The concrete walls there are notorious for terrible for cell reception.I am suspicious because of the past behaviour of industry and from the fact that the pricing for cell phone plans is so convoluted: you must purchase a $20 per month data plan on an iPhone subsidized plan at Canadian carriers. You probably had a bad signal during class - a bad cell signal will constantly be scanning for signal and eat up more battery life. Then it shouldn't be new to you either that sitting with a cell phone in a tight pants pocket can subject your expensive device to undue stresses at best, and damage at worst.I currently have a flip Samsung Tracfone It's the worst cell phone I ever had--even worse than my 1st cell phone in 2001.Damn I must look extra suspicious with the three cell phones I keep in my bag.The Verizon one will either keep searching for a cell signal (bad for battery life), or won't have functional GPS (bad if you're out hiking or camping).Look I'm sorry ok I'm just very anal about my cell phone and I always think I got a bad one because when I was younger I got bad model after model. That really is unbelievable for an apple product, 3 bad ones in a row Steeve Jobs most be angry lol, I really hope you get a good one because they really are good phones Call your cell compony i now Verizon over nights a replacement and you just send back the bad one with the box the new one comes inIf I did the next program it would be 35/month, yeah that 10 bucks is worth the convenience of not having to go through what can be an incredibly annoying crapshoot of selling a cell phone these days.Damn im almost thinking of going to just find the closest cell shop and pick up a cheap case.

This, this website is superb and it helped me find a 6 Plus 64 Gb in stock right at my local Apple store, I got the 4.7 inch 6 on Launch date, and I had it for about a month, I loved it but the Plus was looking so luring and amazing once I got to play with it a few times, I was so sure at first I didnt ever want the Plus, but then I started envying it, and then My brother ended up buying this Plus at Apple and we traded my 4.7 inch i6 with Applecare + on it for a 64 gb 6 plus for me, and I honestly couldnt be anymore satisfied and happy with this, I am beyond happy I got the plus, I love this thing and Im already use to the size, the thinness of the device is truly what makes this phablet actually very tolerable imo and its very slim in the pocket, The bigger screen alongside with the stupendously good battery life alone is beyond worth it and also OIS, All other phones just feel tiny now to me hah, TLDR: switched from a 6 (never thought id get a phablet) to a Plus and i am beyond in love with this thing and i am beyond satisifed and happy i went from the 6 to the 6 PlusTo me, the 6+ has taken time to get used to and still at times can be a tad unwieldy but it's a compromise I happily make every day to get that awesome battery life and larger HD display. The screen size was actually perfect on the 6 i must say for those that are still looking only for a phone and have a dedicated tablet for use at all times. There is a considerable difference in size between it and the 6 +, and I find the mini preferable when viewing videos and at other times when a larger screen is desirable. My stated agenda (that I mentioned many times now) was not in any way bad or malicious but it is of course more useful for you to state it as 'an agenda' like it is some master plan to discredit everything that matters to you in your life. There was a funny light we all detected that passed over the pallet a few times, and it feels like we may have moved outside for a while before moving back into the dark.I agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GBThe screen is amazing, photos are gorgeous, it's massive.. Can be hard to handle at times, but I know I'll get used to it!They are very friendly and accommodating for this kind of thing, and I have done it before many times in-store without any issues. It must fit in my jeans as I carry my phone, basically, at all times *** Battery life is still better than on my iPhone 5, but somehow, I simply fear it won't really be an improvement Basically, I feel like the 6+ might be a bit too tall and a bit too wide to fit comfortably in my jeans. Then there's the topper: "I've exchanged my iPhone 30 times because each one either had a dead pixel, was a gram lighter, had a screen too yellow/blue, the outer box had a dent in a corner, the shrink wrap has an imperfection, the moving lens elements rattle when I smack it against a hard surface, or the home button felt funny, and now Apple doesn't want to exchange it anymore. All of us who got up before 3 am in the eastern time zone, sat around refreshing the web site for over 2 hours, and couldn't go to a carrier site or the app because we are T-Mobile customers, and then finally gave up and went to bed, and then later woke up and found the shipping times were late October, deserve some kind of acknowledgement.6 plus to big esp if you gym it which i do 3 times a week then run 3 days a week on off days as one member said, number two can barely fit in my pocket and just big overall 4.7 seems perfect.i thought the htc one m8 i had was big but jesus christI think it must have taken me around 2 minutes to go through the whole process Delivering 9/19 I have been refreshing the Apple Store site for at least two hours (you never know - maybe the website could come up before the official start) and in the last hour I have been refreshing every 30 seconds... At least it was worth the wait..Two minutes after I ordered I saw that the delivery times started going north...I just think there's something amazing about seeing the world evolve from a place where phones were huge plastic boxes that were attached to the wall with a wire and computers were the whole floor of a city block and only NASA and the IRS had them to today where we're debating whether a SIX OUNCE computer that's about 70mm thick, no bigger than a checkbook, can process MILLIONS of times more data than those old machines, is a still and video camera, a photo editor, a phone, a text messager, a Web browser, a motion sensor, a game system, includes a built in monitor, a rechargable battery that will power it all day and a high definition screen... is too big to fit in our pockets when we bend over to tie our shoes. The large phone screen is great to have with you at all times for convenience, however the larger tablet screen is great for reading, watching videos, etc.I read this comment 1000 times on this forum about "I think 3.5" is the perfect size for a phone" then in 2012 "I think 4.0" is the perfect size for a phone" Now in 2014 "I think 4.7" is the perfect size for a phone."I'm not sure if my opinion could be met with understanding but after seeing few things with my own eyes I prefer to be bit more grateful with what i have and less lusting over the new stuff because if we are honest, most of the times its the "WANT" inside us that buy things rather than the "NEED" part. It's a really great way to enjoy a wonderful experience without dealing with short run times.Sad sad times that it isn't.Loved it until weird things started happening... First, I have been restarting my phone more then 10 times in a week trying to get some weird issues fixed.Phone #1 - invalid sim messages 3 times within 24 hours Phone #2 - invalid sim messages every hour!It was torwards the "Samsung conspiracy theories" comment , which actually isnt far off at all from a theory or conspiracy, because Samsung has been known to do it tons of times and has got caught a few times doing it And of course he gets described as that, it isnt easy at all to tell he is biased torwards Android and is anti Apple lol judging by all his post history, biased statements and comments dont really have a place in this subjective topicI highly doubt it is from a lack of RAM, I think I know what your talking about, because this one website I visit alot called gamespot.com crashes on my Plus 9/10 times and I have no idea why, it actually crashes my springboard, this forums I visit on Gamespot, and it only happens on this website which I have no idea why....it is so weird because when I had the 4.7 inch i6 before I switched to the Plus, this website never ever crashed on my 6....so weird...Um, PhoneArena battery testing is awful and they dont even disclose how they run their tests, they are not reliable at all, Anandtech has the best real world life usage testing PhoneArena doesnt even disclose how they do their testign, they dont go at all into details, their testing is not reliable and doesnt match more then half the times with multiple other battery tests done by other websites and also reviews Anandtech is one of the most reliable, reputable non biased websites on the web, their results and testing and analysis is really almost unmatched in the industry Anand does not write any articles or post anymore on Anandtech, he has put others complelty in charge and now works basically full time at Apple, you dont just throw out years of extremely reputable fame and non bias and renown that Anandtech has built over the years with the industry, terrible damage control, its widely known now that PhoneArenas testing is flawed and that they dont even disclose their testing Lol yeah, im sure the iPhone 6 plus only gets one hour more of battery life then the 6, what a joke, nobody takes PhoneArenas testing seriously anyway, their testing is flawed they dont even disclose how they do their test I went from a 6 to a Plus and I get way more then one extra hour of battery life with my Plus What do you expect, it powers a Quad HD screen , the GPU has to push more pixels, the display is bigger and has a bigger drain on the battery, the 28nm Snapdragon 805 is not as power efficient as the 20nm Apple A8, this was pretty obvious just by looking at the specs on paperI get so annoyed with peoples' spelling being so bad that It's difficult to even understand what they are trying to say on forums at times but in this instance of course I stand corrected by you.I read many times over people saying, "Apple's iOS6 is drab, boring and has been the same for so long".the issue is that the phone seems to work fine for the first few times, the first 10 minutes or so, and then progressively gets worse and worse. As long as people keep getting into forums and saying so many bad things about them like they get all bent out of shape too easily, look jaundiced, or crack up at inappropriate times. After hearing of people having issues with the 5s I was apprehensive about it working well on the 6, but no... it's been absolutely perfect, except for times when my finger is damp with sweat or water. If you want your phone for the 2 times a month someone calls you, buy a cheap dumb phone (you can get them for free with upgrade) and buy an ipad for your data needs.Ok thanks and something also weird happened hey Siri work without being plugged in 2 times before it stopped weirdI got frustrated and angry so many times that I have already lost my steam. It's not the perfect solution but it's worked and saved me plenty of times when I knew with less protection it would have been worse. It's been sent in for repair/exhange a total of 5 times, between my ownership of it and my significant other owning it after me, for everything from batteries to a bad home button, to a bad sleep/wake button, to my cracking the screen once.Turn off all my home theatre , dims the lights on a ten minute timer to give me time to brush teeth etc I'm sure there's more but hey Siri looks an interesting feature for my uses just not overly keen on having to plug my iPhone in to use it cause means I'll need to buy a dock and I don't fancy shouting hey Siri I'm going toilet how many ducking times are you listening or what (from a other room) hahaI've never owned a recent iPhone (the iPhone 4 was the last version that I owned) but in my experience all iPhones have been very laggy in opening apps, and especially bad at answering phone calls (many times the call ends before I can make the dumb "slide to answer" thingy actually work.It was a nice phone but it didn't take great pictures and it had started to get laggy and glitchy at times.Honestly, there are times I wish my iPhone 5 was larger(when I'm awake, walking around) and there are times when I find it too big(when I'm lying in bed, on my side, trying to hold it with one hand at a weird angle) Over all I don't miss the Nexus Galaxy I had(screen size wise) I don't have any problem with Apple allowing more choices in their line up.I have been a T-Mobile iPhone user for about a three years now..at first i had to deal with the terrible speed of EDGE since the iPhone is not built to run on T-Mobile's network..about two months ago i was finally able to get 3G on my iPhone 5 thanks to T-Mobile's attempt to upgrade their network to be able to drag more iPhone users to join their network...I'll admit at first i was really excited about this but after two weeks of 3G coming in and out, weak signal, dropping calls i finally said i've had enough, my iPhone would drop from 3G to EDGE at random times and even go NO SERVICE!!
access
The plastic cover has perfect fit & finish and crucially, not only does it allow access to the removable battery, but most people would have it covered by a case.Cradlepoint MBR1400 with usb Pantech UML295 is a great enterprise class router with external antenna capabilities for the 4g and WiFi Jetpack works great for basic home WiFi / 4g access but MBR gives you full router options and you can always take the usb Pantech UML295 with you when you travel3) The device access discounts are nice and worth it.You will need to open your iPhone 5s to be able to view the volume button contacts, and slide something (I used a tiny piece of paper ) inside the gap that makes your volume keys jiggle.... You will need a pentalobular screwdriver (the one that was required to open the iPhone 5) and a suction cup (the kind that you stick on windows and mirror)... just follow the couple of steps on iFixIt website: It worked for me... you must not be scared of opening your iPhone, and be careful enough not to break any connection wires under the screen (read the above iFixIt link for more info) Unfortunately, if it's the power button you want to fix, you wont be able to do it my way My power button jiggles a tiny bit, but it's hardly noticeable... when the iphone was opened I noticed there was no way to properly see the button and gain access to itso I called I got everything I have, they took the access fee off, the 911 fee off and I kept the: 6 gig 30 27 for my phone 200 minutes unlimited incoming and after 6 2500 txt caller id visual voicemail and txt who called for 75 plus tax I didn't want to push my luck with the guy he was very nice to me as I was nice to himthe screen is bigger, but the only place i noticed it was in angry birds where all the angles were wrong... :-/ but by far is the fingerprint security option, and by this i mean that for the past 2 years i turned off the passcode option as I'm just not that issued with people i know having access to my phone, but was a "little" worried if i lost it, but the fingerprint option is awesome, full lock, but a 2 second thumbprint and its unlocked.

For those that are lucky enough to live in an area with good Sprint coverage and use it as their Internet, I can imagine it would be of great annoyance to constantly have your internet completely disconnect on you the moment you get a call. And these people aren't even the great unwashed masses - they are smart enough to be able to use the internet and figure out about unlimited data options.I have a 128gb iPhone 6+ ..no problems all the rumors(gates) floating around the internet are all BS ..my iphone hasn't bent ..my 128gb tlc hasnt died ..my screen is perfect ..I get better service than on the Note 3 bottom line is ..unless apple acknowledges the problem or someone posts substantive empirical evidence that has been repeated with the same results by another party ...then its a fake rumor you need not trouble yourself withThey can even post pictures after they sit on their phone and claim under the oath of the internet that it was always in their front pocket, in a case, and that they wear baggy microfiber pants because they are so terrified of bending their precious phone.I'm glad to see that you got your training in Internet Condescension, but I've actually noticed some weird stuff going on with this since iOS 8.It's nice to find an intelligent person on the internet, someone who doesn't think 'a-priori' is the french word for dead flower petals in a bag. Finally i enjoy streaming videos and movies on it, surfing internet is great, it is the first time i am happy with the battery life of an iphone, ever. It's like awesome, amazing, brilliant, genius.... Upworthy has hyperboled (yes, I'm using it as a verb) the internet.I had exhibited my photos even made with my iPhone 4, so creativity is more important then anything (I have a nice DSLR with pro lenses for sharp, micro... images if I need features such as IS)... Now, I hold my 6 confidently, easely (I even have lond fingers), descretely if I want, screen size is perfect, nice for photo viewing, navigation, browsing internet, traveling to other places and speaking/making photos without drawing too much attention... Will defenately chose the same size the next time. That was extremely handy at the time because I was using a 1995 Performa 6116 to log on to the internet & it was so brutally slow it took like three days for MaBell & similar sites to load, so I was glad to be able to pay all bills straight from PP's site. You agree not to misuse the Service or Device, including but not limited to: (a) reselling or rebilling our Service; do not give advice on this or any forum based on unfounded assumptions or wishful thinking, the internet is becoming overloaded with dubious information.Insulting people on Internet boards is bad mojo. They're website seems absurd to pick a decent plan from and if they're wireless customer service is anything like their internet service, I don't think I'll be happy with them.T-Mobile is moving to the right direction but it would be great if they can offer a basic $30 plan that gives us limited minutes and Internet.I get amazing 4g/lte speeds but it would be nice if tmobile would include unlimited 4g/lte on all lines included in the price or unlimited hotspot so that I can cancel my home internet service.I have an extremely shoddy internet connection right now (just moved and mine isn't setup yet), so when I remembered that iTunes had to connect to the internet for the restore, I was a bit worried.Abuse of the devices only happens with bad parents that are to lazy to interact and monitor the child, as with the Internet, TV and gaming consoles.

If you find the devices preferable to the Android equivalent, then they are worth the outlay to *you*.Only noticed it in Spotlight, otherwise my Plus ran great still without that on, but Reduce Transparency is everything, Nd i like the black notification center better from the Reduce Transparency, in app performAnce/games are still extremely superb on the Plus Still not as bad at all as the lag Note 4 still has, and the lag modern day Android devices still haveout of the past few iOS devices: iPad 2 was pretty bad iPad 3/4 not bad at all iPhone 5 was awful iPhone 5S wasn't horrible unless you wanted Gold IMO, the iPhone 6 Plus availability is the worst I've seen in any iPhone release, particularly 64GB.Apple Store bought movies and also digital copies all look great and play great all on all devices... yet I can't quite replicate this myself using Handbrake and would appreciate any help!Having owned a caboodle of high tech equipment, and being what you may call an OCD when it comes to keeping my equipment in perfect looking condition, I've learned a thing or two on how I should properly take care of my precious devices, specially ones with glass on them.I'm glad to see that many of you are getting your precious devices today!Devices that are worth between $100 and $199 will net $200, while smartphones worth more than $200 will yield just the original trade-in amount.I'm glad and happy that some of you are having your shipments updated and you are getting your new devices a little earlier than expected. That doesn't necessarily mean the ppi that each of these devices came up with is optimal -- I'd argue, for instance, that people often are using their phone from closer than 11 inches and something in the 400-450 ppi range is the optimal number. Both parties are equally happy as both handsets are great devices. While both are great devices, the 6 fit my needs better. And let me make this clear : not one single one of those phones, smart phones, smart devices - or whatever you wanna call them - suffered from bending.Which were both great phones and this year it's the 6 vs 6+ which are both great devices.I do think it's rather nice to have that kind of uniformity in iOS and App design across both devices. There's many other devices with better specs and none or them can compete with how smooth, nice and great the user experience is in general with Apple devices.Creative applications (motion or still editing, music making and artistry, DJs and musicians...even productivity with iWork and 'fun' with the free iLife suite, as well as Microsoft's Offoce suite) and aggregation with your Mac, iPad and other iOS devices is the compelling & reasonable argument to make the change. There could be defective units for sure, but he is speaking about a major issue that could affect almost all the devices, or a great percentage of them (he already tested 5 units with the same defect). You agree not to misuse the Service or Device, including but not limited to: (a) reselling or rebilling our Service; After trying every solution out there I tried my friends Belkin and Netgear N series router , and everything worked perfect @ blazing speeds on both belkin & N series, found the difference almost instantly(on all my old devices as well) .20 nm 64 bit apple A8> 28nm Snapdragon 805 Cameras are both top notch and cream of the crop , no real , clear winner there Touch ID is king fingerprint scanner sensor and the Note 4 swipe with your thumb BS is not as good note 4 has the best OLED display ever while the 6 Plus has the best LCD smartphone display ever, both are top notch, 6 has a little less resolution but still good Funny thing is that 6 and 6 Plus uses actually newer technology and more cutting edge hardware, a SoC on a 20nm manufacturing node custom designed by Apple In house own ISP now too Both are great devices though but people who say it uses "2012 technology" and "lol wow only 1.4 ghz dual core my Galaxy S3 is faster with 1.5 ghz dual core" just have no understanding at all on all this Fanboys gonna be fanboys , but the 6 Plus and 6 are actually one of the best if not the best peforming smartphone right now on both the CPU/GPU side Totally wrong , 6 and 6 Plus completly utterly destroys anything from 2012, the SoC (which houses the CPU/GPU/ISP/RAM) basically everything, is quite different and not similiar to tech specs back then ARMv8 custom design is drastically different then what has been used in the past What people dont understand at all is that you want faster better single core performance and better IPC always, espcially on mobile devices, this is beyond crucial and key for mobile developing (for obvious reasons; these devices using batteries and thermal constraints etc etc) Same thing with why a Intel quad core is noticeably faster then a AMD quad core thats clocked alot higher speeds then the Intel quad core Its because Intels single core performance and architecture design is SUPERIOR, very little people understand what even makes a CPU design, single core performance and IPC is beyond important and crucial and key for mobile , why would someone want to deal with more weaker single cores and code for all them and try to get parrlellization and efficiency on all cores properly when it is a headache already developing software and games for a bunch of cores on desktop(and multicore processors started coming out 8 years ago) Throwing more cores at it does not increase performance for situations and problems automatically linearly 6 way wide superscaler 1.4 ghz Enhanced cyclone cores on ARM's latest architecture design (ARMv8 or 64 bit) OP I suggest you look up on the A7/A8 details , it is more comparable to Intel Haswell processors then it is to what Qualcomm offers actually in terms of performanceThe 6 Plus considerably outperforms the Note 4, it gets noticeably better on screen frame rate in games and 3D applications then the Note 4(which also translate to smoother UI performance and stuff like that, there is no reason why the Note 4 stutters and lags in native phone app when scrolling and just scrolling through the home screen) There are tons of demonstrations and benchmarks that clearly show the 6 Plus is the better performer, both off screen/on screen results, it isnt a comparison Nexus 6 suffers from terribly slow read/write speeds due to the FDE in Lollipop, and also Lollipop is completly bug ridden right now You can mention Facebook as a indicator because alot of Android apps still lag and are pretty ******, alot of apps share in common with the Facebook app in terms of performance, its abysmal and sad, the worse GPU/CPU performance and worse battery life is why i went with the 6 Plus over the Note 4 You must of missed or are intentionally deluding/blocking your self out from all the real world/benchmark results that showed the 6 Plus beating the Note 4 about a month ago (Anandtech, few others reporting this ) Hey, Apple is doing something really right though if it offers better performance then the current smartphone competition right now though (better GPU/CPU performance then the 805) and also offers better battery life then current Snapdragon 805 offerings People complain about the "RAM " issue on iOS devices meanwhile Android devices with 2-3x more RAM are still reloading and refreshing applications just as much if not more then iOS devices....oh Android fans...the ironyMy whole point was that the reason why Android has such a huge marketshare is because of cheap Android devices , and that basically any OEM can just make a cheap 1GB , 5 megapixel shooter with a simple old dual core and stick 4.1/4.2 on it and sell it for really cheap which is a fact.Looking at Android's premium market compared to iOS(iOS is only premium, Apple obviously doesn't sell anything not premium price) they are alot closer then you think, which says alot considering Apple is only one OEM , compared to the other OEM's on Android pushing out premium flagships left and right Your post says "its a very good OS, user base alone is proof of that" when really the user base is majorly consisted of cheap Android devices, it has such a big user base because Android is cheapSucks you have a defective iPhone 6 with a bad camera, I am beyond enjoying the best smartphone camera on the planet right now and I have taken some incredible shots with my 6 Plus so far, go try an Android phone then where the cameras arent as good Android has its userbase because it is cheap, not because it is so incredible and amazing, 66% of Android devices are 2011 era hardware spec devices, Android's marketshare is so high because it is cheap (majority of Android marketshare is low end devices, the ones with low specs and very cheap, which hey is actually extremely good for the developing world...but it still comes with outdated OS too..)Just so damn tired of the time sponge these devices have become.Cause companies are too cheap or too worried about affecting other programs to implement encryption on all devices.so today I went to a local apple store cause they had some 6 16s in stock so I was going to buy in store and their also getting the same message on their apple pay 5s devices, so the very nice rep {not the ones all pumped up and wanting to give u a high five in the middle of store cause u got a damn 6 16gb silver} said he would see what he could do to remove the block but nothing worked and in the end I just left and he said I should try Verizon again but if it works on their end I highly doubt they will help further. All the angry and dissatisfied owners are busy opening thread after thread concerning their devices.A rate of up to 2% of new devices shipping with a defect is not uncommon with consumer electronics, and it just seems worse with an Apple device because the immense volume of sales means that a larger number of people will inevitably receive a defective unit.Hmmm....now you guys have got me worried...I tend to flip my devices every 6 months or so, thinking maybe this good deal I found isn't worth saving the $100 or so...the seller assured me that the phone is from a line in good standing with Verizon and he just decided the iPhone 6+ wasn't for him.I have to hope for the mercy of the prison system in Shanghai to allow poor Sixy to be repatriated back to the good ol' USA...not that she's ever been there, because her inventors prefer to have her and her brethren constructed in countries with lax labor and environmental regulations so that they can take a 70% profit off the top of their devices to sooth the nervous souls of the ever-powerful investors while the people who built her are stymied from their suicide attempts by the nets installed below the roofline of their priso...uh...factory.I was also a bit annoyed at how quickly Apple drop update support for previous models (little did I realise how much worse the situation can be with non-Nexus devices on Android).Your false bravado and incredulity are boring, and though it's hilarious that you're willing to declare the love you have for your 6 Plus out of one side of your mouth while out of the other judging people for buying devices made through what you deem child abuse and near-slave labor, falling back on tired "FOX News" insults just proves that you're a dime store talking head and not worth the time.I had to go through 6 iPhone 5 devices because one had horrid crackling during calls (every call, to any number and however strong the signal was), four had loose buttons (including the one I ended up keeping), and three had nasty scratches on the casing (as well as loose buttons on two of them).Either Safari is horrible at memory management, iOS is horrible at memory management, or iOS devices need more RAM.No problem brother , like I said we pay crazy prices for these devices and honestly if people just settled for less than perfect because they were afraid to be anal retentive than how would company's like apple even know these problems exist , they have to be held to the same standards we are and if I gave less than 100% at work I would be fired or less than 100% at home something could happen to my family and I'm not about to let that happen .Always ask the buyer to bring a SIM so that both parties can verify the device fully functioning [Note: Scammers usually don't sit to inspect the device nor bring SIM cards to test devices] Additional Notes: - eBay buyers can open a dispute against the seller up to 30days after the purchase and correct me If I'm wrong, Paypal direct sales can be disputed against up to 45days === DO NOT SELL YOUR iDEVICES DIRECTLY VIA PAYPAL, NO MATTER HOW NICE OR CONVINCING THE BUYER MAY BE, YOUR PROTECTION LEVEL IS LOWER vs having eBay on board.Samsung devices are NOTORIOUS for horrific battery life, and as someone who's owned many of them I can vouch. There are lots of AMAZING apps for Android, but it's a system where it's not uncommon for apps to only be really built for a small range of devices.Samsung has a history of dropping support for older devices (Galaxy S never getting updated past Android 2), using terrible components (bad GPS in the Galaxy S), using bad storage (look up "super brick" bug, Not only that, Samsung devices and Samsung storage used by other devices were flawed in their very design. As others have indicated, these statistics are largely meaningless because the vast majority of the 3.5-4.3" phones are cheap Android devices, the sort of devices that people get for $0 with a contract or $99 without a contract. So, I'm tired to get refurbished and apparently always defective devices.Abuse of the devices only happens with bad parents that are to lazy to interact and monitor the child, as with the Internet, TV and gaming consoles.
week
I wont be buying a smart watch until these 3 things are met: Price no more than $150 Can be used with any smartphone platform Battery should last at least a week without charging I would also be interested in more smart watches like the Samsung s which don't require a smartphone but are cheaper maybe around $250 and last at least a week without charging.Trust me, I had to work for it, I was considering selling the 3G iPhone last week on ebay for few bucks if it was worth that much...until I saw the Best Buy ad, the first day I went there they wouldn't take it, so I reached out @ their social media site and they gave me a $100 GC (being mailed), then I went back the following day back to Best Buy and they finally took my iPhone 3G 8GB and gave me $100 for it and also took my iPhone 5 for $180, I was super happy with it.got the 6 first, absolutely thought Id never get a phone the size of the Plus, was chirping that the 6 is the perfect size and phone, but then I started getting envious of the Plus, then i wanted to switch to the Plus and I did and i love it that much more over the 6 and im beyond happy and satisfied I switched to the Plus Love the screen and battery life tremendously, they are simply incredible on the Plus, also has OIS which is a benefit, its been about a week since I owned the Plus and I am already used to the size(granted I rock it without a case to keep it slim and light, which the thinness and weight makes it alot more tolerable to hold and feels good imo, much better feel and hold and is slimmer in hand then other phablets, I am used to the size alreadyIn less than a week I have an awesome 6+ SG 64G in hand and am happy as can be.Have my skin for phone coming this week I stopped at BB and got a holster with case and a seperate clear rubber case fit the holster perfect too!I called into retentions about a week and a half ago, got the $65 plan and 4GB of data, went great, and just saw my bill today, $70.02 after taxes, not bad at all compared to paying $90 something.I spent a few days last week watching craigslist last week and bought a sealed iPhone 6 Plus 64GB Gray last Friday for $725.00 - Activated, went to Apple store grabbed a leather case and an extra lighting cable for use with an old iPad charger for use as my travel charger (Supposedly it charges faster with the bigger iPad charger) Anyway, if you're tired of waiting or don't want to be stuck in a contract paying way over full price for a phone, this is a great alternative.I'm just a consumer with my eyes open and realistic expectations who won't be angry when I don't have my phone a week before my shipping window opens. My wife's: Nice Name: iPhone 6 Family name: Group1: iPhone Group2: 6 Generation: CPU speed: 1.4GHz Screen size: 4.7 inch Screen resolution: 1334x750 pixels Colour: Gold Production year: 2014 Production week: 36 (September) Model introduced: 2014 Capacity: 16GB Memory - flavour: xx Memory - maximum total: 1GB Factory: DN (China, Chengdu - Foxconn) Mine: Nice Name: iPhone 6 (GSM/North America) Machine Model: iPhone7,2 Family name: A1549 Group1: iPhone Group2: 6 Generation: CPU speed: 1.4GHz Screen size: 4.7 inch Screen resolution: 1334x750 pixels Colour: Space Gray Production year: 2014 Production week: 35 (September) Model introduced: 2014 Capacity: 64GB Memory - flavour: xx Memory - maximum total: 1GB Factory: DN (China, Chengdu - Foxconn)Nice Name: iPhone 6 plus Family name: Group1: iPhone Group2: 6 plus Generation: CPU speed: 1.4GHz Screen size: 5.5 inch Screen resolution: 1920x1080 pixels Colour: Space Gray Production year: 2014 Production week: 39 (October) Model introduced: 2014 Capacity: 16GB Memory - flavour: xx Factory: F2 (China, Zhengzhou - Foxconn) Nice Name: iPhone 6 Family name: Group1: iPhone Group2: 6 Generation: CPU speed: 1.4GHz Screen size: 4.7 inch Screen resolution: 1334x750 pixels Colour: Space Gray Production year: 2014 Production week: 37 (September) Model introduced: 2014 Capacity: 16GB Memory - flavour: xx Memory - maximum total: 1GB Factory: DN (China, Chengdu - Foxconn)It is kind of funny to think of all of us on this forum going nuts, and we will lose interaction with each other in a week or two, but in the meantime, all of our phones are snuggled together on a pallet in a warehouse in Korea...After 1 week of using my 6 Plus, it has been great device and will still be a great device.I will, if lucky might have a new phone in a week plus But...No harm...I have an 5S... but...bad start...Lots of people held mine this week and it was amazing to see their reaction change in front of my eyes from wow that is big, to ... Actually this feels nice in my hand and what a lovely screen.Surely, if its worth standing in line for on the first day of the release its worth coming back a week later to pick up and play with.8 planes landed this morning to last night....people will get phones with the next 3 days..yet they are impatient...... i got tracking yesterday, and never wavered on cancelling...if they said phones were preordered on 12th and wouldn't ship to next week we wouldn't have any problem waiting, BUT bc others have gotten theres people are flipping out...... Note- i don't have mine yet either, ...i finally got shipping yesterday...i was frustrated too, but i understood, in due time it will work out....This thread is to funny I've just been ghosting through this thread reading the comments and laughing you guys make waiting for my phone to come next week miserably enjoyable.my productivity this week has dropped dramatically...cant stop refreshing the order page and check ups for my 6+ i'm grateful that my 6 is already on its way for 9/19 delivery.... but I'm desperate to get hold of the 6+ too.Nice Name: iPhone 6 plus Family name: Group1: iPhone Group2: 6 plus Generation: Screen size: 5.5 inch Screen resolution: 1920x1080 pixels Colour: Space Gray Production year: 2014 Production week: 35 (September) Model introduced: 2014 Capacity: 128GB Memory - flavour: xx Factory: F2 (China, Zhengzhou - Foxconn) funny, because the 35th week of 2014 is August 24-31st.According to the information below, I wonder if they have even been made yet lol My wife's 6 shows: Nice Name: iPhone 6 Family name: Group1: iPhone Group2: 6 Generation: Screen size: 4.7 inch Screen resolution: 1334x750 pixels Colour: Space Gray Production year: 2014 Production week: 33 (August) Model introduced: 2014 Capacity: 64GB Memory - flavour: xx Factory: DN (China, Chengdu - Foxconn My 6+ shows: Nice Name: Family name: Group1: Group2: Generation: Production year: 2014 Production week: 35 (September) Model introduced: Memory - number of slots: Please tell us how many memory (RAM) slots this machine has.6 plus to big esp if you gym it which i do 3 times a week then run 3 days a week on off days as one member said, number two can barely fit in my pocket and just big overall 4.7 seems perfect.i thought the htc one m8 i had was big but jesus christThe guy at verizon a few days ago said that during week days I probably don't need an appointment...so I just walked in and the nice apple guy helped me out by checking me in and within 10 minutes another great guy came over to help me!I use a Speck case with mine which has done more than its fair share of saving my bacon and happy to report that only just last week when I decided to give my phone a good cleaning and inspection that the Black/Slate finish is perfect and even the rear glass inserts are intact.------------------- Nice Name: iPhone 5s Family name: Group1: iPhone Group2: Generation: CPU speed: 1.3GHz Screen size: 4 inch Screen resolution: 1136x640 pixels Colour: Space Gray Production year: 2014 Production week: 4 (January) Model introduced: 2013 Capacity: 64GB Memory - flavour: xx Factory: (China, Chengdu - Foxconn) : Noticable scan lines, but not nearly as bad as the phone mentioned above (F2 serial).Haha, maybe THEIRS is defect lol To be honest, if I even bothered to look at this thread last week, I would probably not notice this weird "virus" at all.Keep you inform about any drift during next days ..... First, I have been restarting my phone more then 10 times in a week trying to get some weird issues fixed.hey guys ive had my iphone 6 for a week now and i have ios 8.0.2 installed on it, and the battery life is just terrible, i have background app refresh completely off, email push is off and my email account is set to manual instead of fetch, i can't figure out why its so bad, i mean if i dont use the phone then the battery holds up i guess but if i use it to browse facebook or just play a game or whatever it is drainging really quickly.. i also have notifications turned off for nearly every app other than messages and facetime.. i cant figure out whats causing the drainage.. i have my brightness set to 1/4 of the full brightness as well so its not my brightness. Can't decide if this makes me feel better because there is someone worse off than me, or I feel worse because of the potential of another week of processingI will give him the benefit of the doubt as he at least mentions at the end of the article that he's going to give another week to see how it might fit into or not fit into his phone usage patterns. All you've been doing is making very sad posts about the iPhone 6 plus, making it painfully obvious that you are NOT extremely happy with your choice (otherwise why keep going on and on about it for a week).I had 2.3 gingerbread android phone for 18 months and while android itself was fun to use the weak hardware and lack of regular updates let the experience down considerably. So much stuff could be done even without having to root your phone. Then I switched to Lumia 520 and it was a breath of fresh air the simple yet elegant ui is great windows phone 8 is a cool ecosystem.Just this week I bought iPhone 3GS with ios 6 which is a little inferior to iphone 6 i would guess and I like the OS it's smooth and fluid and the phone is also well built although camera quality is not so good but everything else is good.So I like all 3 platforms equally well. The past week has been deeply stressful, frustrating, and taxing for many of your customers, myself included. So I was stuck with AT&T "premier", n I ordered through AT&T that too at 3:40 am est, after a week with horrible customer care experience, way worse than I have ever seen, BTW I live in India n I thought customer care there was bad LOL, now I am not even sure will I receive a phone or not as my shipping date says pending confirmation.I'm used to pre-orders where the production release is 6 months after the product annoucement, and the order window is small so they can build to what the preorder was... Im not saying that necessarily is desirable, but it really would help lessen some of the madness that is this "omg its next week" and the logistics that are involved and the insane it sells out in 1 minute stuff... received both my confirmation of processing and an email for the other reservation from when ATT couldnt verify...If not Im not really worried about it though it is kinda annoying I won't get mad at AT&T until it doesn't show up next week, then ill be mad for a few hours and then just wait the estimated month. This phone is actually the least intrusive the lines have been of all the phones I've received, but it's just strange that my wife's white/gold 5s built week 3 with a DN serial is perfect yet original black from O2 built week 4 with the same DN serial range had awful "scan lines".I've had lots of iPods and an iPad and my phone was this cheap samsung intensity(a sliding phone...DUMB PHONE) then I got a blue 5c just a week or to ago.Mine is a launch 5s and it was working perfectly (with a rare miss here and there, but not a big deal at all, I'd say 98% of the time it was fine)... we flew from RDU out to SJC a couple of weeks ago, and my touch sensor got worse and worse for the week and a half we were there. And the last thing I want is too get a replacement that is worse than my current week 39: -3 flat -2 long edge -2 short edge This is definitely the worse apple issue I have faced throughout the 10 different purchases I've made over the years! My first iPhone 5 had great battery life (didn't get the week build unfortunately) but my current iP5 is week 38 and has terrible battery lifeArrival Scan Looks like my pallet joined up with the security held 7:10 crew and flew off to Korea.. (Would have preferred Osaka vacation for various reasons... but its moving.. but still 25th, so the question is will it remain with the 7:10ers when they depart for the US... while tomorrow is a possibility assuming they pop the next flight out... being on 'expedited' I dont hold much hope... but now Wednesday looks promising, except as I've stated, Wednesday is the 1 bad day this week for me.)

range
Great range and awesome sound for stereo Bluetooth. That doesn't necessarily mean the ppi that each of these devices came up with is optimal -- I'd argue, for instance, that people often are using their phone from closer than 11 inches and something in the 400-450 ppi range is the optimal number.Range is great for me; I live on a five acre hobby farm and the signal has a great radius within my property. Both images were sharp, the iPhone had great contrast with a great dynamic range.I think Android users will be in for a really good treat with the 6 one huge thing I am excited about is apps that open a browser in the app itself and not in Safari, they will now have the same exact speed as Safari itself, Apple is extending its updated Nitro Javascript engine to all apps now, so when a app opens up a browser in the app itself, it loads just as fast as it would on Safari that will be alot faster now, im excited for that+Apple A8 speed, apps are going to get a nice speed boost display quality on the 6/6 plus is ridiculously good, full sRGB range, the viewing angles, there basically isn't any viewing angles with this screen, it really doesnt distort when you look at it from any angle only ever so slightly(15% the most) at absurd viewing angles, dual domain pixel technology is a big deal,Do you think it's wise to call retentions before the iPhone 4 comes out...if they lower my plan cost I won't be in the $100 a month range and might not qualify for the early upgrade price, although my billing cycle is on the 25th of every month so I might get lucky there. This phone is actually the least intrusive the lines have been of all the phones I've received, but it's just strange that my wife's white/gold 5s built week 3 with a DN serial is perfect yet original black from O2 built week 4 with the same DN serial range had awful "scan lines".There are lots of AMAZING apps for Android, but it's a system where it's not uncommon for apps to only be really built for a small range of devices.

Coverage is exactly the same as AT&T (perfect in my area) and LTE speeds are great.Great signal in a lot of places and really great 4G speeds.Great coverage and impressive LTE speeds.Your phone will work just fine....HSPA+ is a great network with great speedsBut it can't be a router issue because my sister's iPhone 4S gets great wifi speeds, and my mom's Note 3 gets really really great wifi speeds.Simplified: AT&T MVNO's: - AT&T GoPhone [I currently on $60 plan and its great] - AIO Wireless [Owned by AT&T] - Straight Talk [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Net10 [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - H2O Wireless - Go Red Pocket Mobile T-Mobile MVNO's: - GoSmart Mobile [Owned by T-Mobile] - Straight Talk [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Net10 [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Simple Mobile [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Ultra Mobile - Spot Mobile - Solavei - Platinum Tel - Metro PCS - iWireless - Walmart Family Mobile - 35orLess Sprint MVNO's: - Virgin Mobile - Straight Talk [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Net10 [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] Verizon MVNO's: - PagePlus - Straight Talk [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] - Net10 [Owned by Tracfone which is owned by American Movil] If T-Mobile gave you the boot, go with AT&T MVNO's and I recommend: - #1 Straight Talk [Fast 4G + LTE Speeds slightly higher ping rates] - #2 GoPhone [Fastest 4G + LTE Speeds and Lowest Ping] - #3 AIO Wireless [Slightly cheaper than GoPhone with Fast 4G + LTE Speeds with slightly higher ping rates] Net10 and Straight Talk = Exact same except net10 = $5 more unless you do "Auto payment" T-Mobile MVNO's list has grown over the past couple of years maybe because its cheaper for companies to use its network vs AT&T but do note that you get LTE and much better coverage going with AT&T MVNO vs T-Mobile.Your speeds are horrible, but with a LTE capable device speeds are respectable.AT&T is going to dominate at the end of the day, I like many have also recently switched to AT&T GoPhone $60 plan, which works great and LTE speeds are amazing! With their recent adaption to a smart phone plan I've been quite pleased with data speeds and service coverage. It's hilarious how Sprint and TMo users are constantly banging on about their great HSPA/EVDO speeds and are in complete denial that LTE exists these days. But LTE will be able to bring that to respectable speeds and with unlimited, it will be great.Rogers has been great everywhere I've been in Ontario, fast speeds, great coverage everywhere I've been.20 nm 64 bit apple A8> 28nm Snapdragon 805 Cameras are both top notch and cream of the crop , no real , clear winner there Touch ID is king fingerprint scanner sensor and the Note 4 swipe with your thumb BS is not as good note 4 has the best OLED display ever while the 6 Plus has the best LCD smartphone display ever, both are top notch, 6 has a little less resolution but still good Funny thing is that 6 and 6 Plus uses actually newer technology and more cutting edge hardware, a SoC on a 20nm manufacturing node custom designed by Apple In house own ISP now too Both are great devices though but people who say it uses "2012 technology" and "lol wow only 1.4 ghz dual core my Galaxy S3 is faster with 1.5 ghz dual core" just have no understanding at all on all this Fanboys gonna be fanboys , but the 6 Plus and 6 are actually one of the best if not the best peforming smartphone right now on both the CPU/GPU side Totally wrong , 6 and 6 Plus completly utterly destroys anything from 2012, the SoC (which houses the CPU/GPU/ISP/RAM) basically everything, is quite different and not similiar to tech specs back then ARMv8 custom design is drastically different then what has been used in the past What people dont understand at all is that you want faster better single core performance and better IPC always, espcially on mobile devices, this is beyond crucial and key for mobile developing (for obvious reasons; these devices using batteries and thermal constraints etc etc) Same thing with why a Intel quad core is noticeably faster then a AMD quad core thats clocked alot higher speeds then the Intel quad core Its because Intels single core performance and architecture design is SUPERIOR, very little people understand what even makes a CPU design, single core performance and IPC is beyond important and crucial and key for mobile , why would someone want to deal with more weaker single cores and code for all them and try to get parrlellization and efficiency on all cores properly when it is a headache already developing software and games for a bunch of cores on desktop(and multicore processors started coming out 8 years ago) Throwing more cores at it does not increase performance for situations and problems automatically linearly 6 way wide superscaler 1.4 ghz Enhanced cyclone cores on ARM's latest architecture design (ARMv8 or 64 bit) OP I suggest you look up on the A7/A8 details , it is more comparable to Intel Haswell processors then it is to what Qualcomm offers actually in terms of performanceI've never even come close to hitting it but it's nice knowing there aren't any overage fees and that even if I'm throttled I'll still have perfectly usable 3G/LTE speeds (around 500kbps - 1mbps), unlike some other carriers that throttle down to a paltry 128kbpsEven the best of those speeds isn't really outstanding and when it's slow, it's terrible.Sprint speeds in the Bay Area are just horrible where I've needed them and T-Mobile has great speeds but inconsistent for me.think twice about sprint, their the worst carrier in the states, very unfriendly towards consumers, harsh unlock policies, terrible 3G speeds (below 500kbps) you'll be better off with a MVNO using at&t infrastructure like a gsm version of straight talkmy speeds have been terrible on h2o wireless throughout the USA (just on a road trip) and especially bad here in san francisco.Frankly, matching VZW EVDO speeds is pretty damn pathetic after all these years, especially when VZW has went on record to say they will be 100% LTE by the end of 2013.Live streaming is almost impossible over iPhone 5 and wifi,, buffers all the time,, but works fine on LTE and 4g,, weird,,and i do have fast speeds on wifi ,, very strangeI find it ironic that the worst wifi speeds I get is from the ATT network at my local Starbuck.
macbook
well i went back to my 5C and honestly its fluid and the right size for portability I have a rMini and macbook air so apple still in my life... What I found was apple puts alot of effort into their macbooks - look at yosemite - its amazing fluid fast and runs amazingly on the macbook air, secondly ipads - these are also great for what they do just look at the new ipad air specs are amazing...I am happy to report impressive battery life since the update so it seems to be working well on my iPhone 6 iPhone 6 64GB (AT&T) // iPad Mini (Wifi) // 2013 MacBook Pro RetinaI have always felt like the iPad Air, while a very nice product, was a bit of a force fit between my phone and macbook.I've purchased iPhones for as long as they've been out there, sung the praises of Apple to the mountaintops, and slowly filled my home with Macbook, iMac, multiple iPads and iPods, not to mention spent $1000s in music in iTunes...and there's the rub, it's because I've been such a loyal customer, accustomed to wonderful and rapid service, that this botched rollout has raised my ire, this is not what I'm accustomed to with Apple, and galling is a great description of my feelings at present.wow just opened on my macbook full screen, looks amazing, and sounds quite good too, nice job!You know it's funny, with the Macbook Pro line, the 15" and 17" models were always superior (higher resolution, dedicated GPU, more RAM, longer battery, etc) however people did not feel bad about getting the 13", as it was the best combo of portability and power for most.Apple is usually the first to popularize awesome features such as 7 hour battery life on the MacBook Air (and then to an amazing 12 hours), retina display on a laptop, Touch ID on the iPhone, etc.: I buy a MacBook Pro and begin switching to OS X. I'm amazed at how great it is, after years of deriding them as being overpriced playthings for artists, but nothing I'd ever do serious IT work with.Well my older brother telling me he was buying me a MacBook for college and letting me keep the free iPod These products always worked great and I needed a smart phone for work so I got the iPhone.2 Mac Minis MacBook Pro 13 2011 2 Apple TV Airport Basestation Extreme Airport express iPad 2 iPad mini iPad Air 2 iPhone 5 (one for me, one for wife) Bluetooth keyboards Magic Trackpads Magic Mouse USB keyboard Numerous chargers, cables, Cool starry bras.Wife has iPhone 4S 16GB White iPad 2 16GB Wifi Accessories:- 2 Apple Battery Chargers - Good deal and really practical Magic Trackpad for the Macbook Air Magic Mouse for the Macbook Air Apple Wireless Keyboard for the Macbook Air Apple Superdrive for the Macbook Air (rarely ever use it)I remember I was at the genius bar 3 days in a row for about 3 hours when my old MacBook Pro broke, I felt so bad because it was the same genius bar girl, she was super nice but I was about to go offer her something to eat on me (especially since the repair ended up costing nothing).I've experienced how ****** this is on the Retina MacBook Pro when set to the higher than optimal retina setting and it's not a great experience.I might not have been so eager to switch had Google not gotten rid of their EAS option, but since they did I didn't have much heartburn about moving my services to iCloud, especially after I bought a MacBook.
hardware
Biggest pro of the S cycle: abundant support, both hardware wise and software wise.Yes, they might have the terminal to do so, but it still needs to be set up both hardware wise and software wise. The iPhone 6 is obviously no slouch, but I seriously think people have forgotten just how amazing the fit and finish was between the hardware and software back in the day.I was never in to the whole customization scene, as I'm really more of a hardware guy then software guy so the iPhone was a perfect fit.Software wise, hardware wise and build quality wise.. That's why I ended up with the iPhone 6+.If you're happy with a phone that lags because of hardware OUT OF THE BOX, then fabulous.Believe me, your app developers want nothing more than to make awesome apps taking advantage of all the latest awesome hardware and software. The lag may not be bad for most users (the same ones who think they have a "perfect" phone until an OCDer finds 20 things wrong in seconds) but the issue is a hardware one, and even if it doesn't bother you, it's there.Great phone hardware wise (screen, camera and battery life) but for me it is just too big a device to use, especially with a case on it.Its nice to see there is nothing more substantial to complain or troll about Great job on the hardware this time Apple!I am overall happy with what I have seen of the iphone 6 plus and if the rumoured 2gb ram is correct then hardware wise it is all that I would require. However, ImgTec recently acquired Caustic Graphics who have dedicated hardware solutions, which according to famous graphics programmer John Carmack, are actually .It is worth noting that ImgTec has also a variant of the 6 Series GPU that features dedicated ray tracing hardware.I'd be perfectly happy staying with my 4S if the hardware wasn't slowly falling out of step, performance wise.I'd be perfectly happy staying with my 4S if the hardware wasn't slowly falling out of step, performance wise.BT LE is far more flexible with regards to payload, NFC is just here because it's cheap and requires less hardware / energy. When I see an iPhone consumer, I know I'm looking at someone with great taste, who demands the best products, and a person who appreciates the coupling of great hardware and software to deliver the most incredible experiences. The 4 was a nice hardware upgrade over the 3GS, and the 5 was a nice hardware upgrade over the 4S.But there is a misconception here, the truth is, hardware wise the 5s bites off more battery life than it can chew, leaving the 5c being the phone with the most impressive battery life.I personally don't think your phone is defective hardware wise.20 nm 64 bit apple A8> 28nm Snapdragon 805 Cameras are both top notch and cream of the crop , no real , clear winner there Touch ID is king fingerprint scanner sensor and the Note 4 swipe with your thumb BS is not as good note 4 has the best OLED display ever while the 6 Plus has the best LCD smartphone display ever, both are top notch, 6 has a little less resolution but still good Funny thing is that 6 and 6 Plus uses actually newer technology and more cutting edge hardware, a SoC on a 20nm manufacturing node custom designed by Apple In house own ISP now too Both are great devices though but people who say it uses "2012 technology" and "lol wow only 1.4 ghz dual core my Galaxy S3 is faster with 1.5 ghz dual core" just have no understanding at all on all this Fanboys gonna be fanboys , but the 6 Plus and 6 are actually one of the best if not the best peforming smartphone right now on both the CPU/GPU side Totally wrong , 6 and 6 Plus completly utterly destroys anything from 2012, the SoC (which houses the CPU/GPU/ISP/RAM) basically everything, is quite different and not similiar to tech specs back then ARMv8 custom design is drastically different then what has been used in the past What people dont understand at all is that you want faster better single core performance and better IPC always, espcially on mobile devices, this is beyond crucial and key for mobile developing (for obvious reasons; it'd be a software year. Not just firmware wise - but hardware wise.As well: 128 gb option 5 inch screen Thicker, with twice the battery life Other than that, hardware wise, I can't think of anything else that I really really want that apple would ever implement (SD card and removable battery come to mind as nice options, but don't see that ever happening).I wish HTC would concentrate on quality as well, HTC ONE is a beautiful phone but it needs work to become better...not hardware wise, but software wise...HTC too can create a ecosystem of its own that utilizes simple things like an iCloud competitor....or even start going with Ubuntu EDGE!This phone is simply beautiful and not just hardware wise... but most importantly, it marries the software and hardware unlike ANY OTHER IPHONE ever... IOS 7 is simply created with iphone 5c in mind. It's crazy when the ipad retina cost only $500 and the iPod touch 32GB cost only $300 The only better thing about the iPhone is the camera and the newer hardware The loan is stupid because the phone companies are greedy to charge people $80 a month for 2 years is insaneWhile I am tempted to think that most of my issues were hardware issues, I found it hard to believe that I could be so unlucky to get one with a bad battery.
settings
I went into settings, safari (my phone browser), selected advanced, then website data, then remove all website data (at the bottom) and the discs went away, I don't think I lost any of my saved passwords or anything that I wanted to keep probably just cached pages to help sites load faster, but the discs annoyed me so I was happy they went away. Also the battery life on the 6 Plus is amazing, you need to adjust some settings for optimal battery life, these links will help...There are mounds more settings in iOS (which can be overwhelming at first) but you get more control over what you want to control such as fine grained notification control, permissions management and a smart backup solution.Going into accessibility settings and toggling Reduce Motion and Increase Contrast to on seemed to make it more tolerable performance wise.Definitely getting worse (but not terrible) battery life out of my 5 compared to my 4 under exactly the same settings and usage. In some ways it's nice, because otherwise I'd be kind of glued to my phone like some people are, and that's really disrespectful in group settings..but that's a totally separate discussion topic.yeah but that lag in your video is very serious and clearly seems to be something mechanically defective in your device if that is common, I came from a 6 to a 6 plus and the 6 plus is just as buttery smooth fast as the 6 that i came from, with no lag or stutters for me ever I also have TLC nand memory, which is suppose to be the worse NAND that causes some people issues but i myself have had no issues at all with it Try a hard reset (home and lock button until screen turns off completely) and also try turning on Reduce transparency in accessbility in general in settingsyeah but that lag in your video is very serious and clearly seems to be something mechanically defective in your device if that is common, I came from a 6 to a 6 plus and the 6 plus is just as buttery smooth fast as the 6 that i came from, with no lag or stutters for me ever I also have TLC nand memory, which is suppose to be the worse NAND that causes some people issues but i myself have had no issues at all with it Try a hard reset (home and lock button until screen turns off completely) and also try turning on Reduce transparency in accessbility in general in settingsWorst case scenario, you find the backup problematic, you erase all content and settings and setup phone as new.In every case excluding maybe a rare extremely god awful console port pc settings maxed out blow consoles out of the water, those kind of graphics are not applicable to consoles, they at aren't powerful enough, no amount of optimization will fix that.I'm seeing it and it is worse than terrible... iPhone 6 speedtest (after resetting network settings): 0.01 d/l 3.35 u/l AWFUL.

morning
Am glad to hear, I was excited about mine getting shipped this morning but at the same time feeling guilty no one else seemed to beDear A Team members : Dear A Team, good morning! We have an NC specific thread going and I was #1 in line at the Friendly Center store and talked to the employee that stepped outside 30 minutes prior to store opening to take walk-in reservations and another member of the NC thread was at the Crabtree store at the same time I was at the Friendly store and we compared stock reports from employees that morning.I'm hoping to get lucky tomorrow morning at the Friendly Center Apple Store.8 planes landed this morning to last night....people will get phones with the next 3 days..yet they are impatient...... i got tracking yesterday, and never wavered on cancelling...if they said phones were preordered on 12th and wouldn't ship to next week we wouldn't have any problem waiting, BUT bc others have gotten theres people are flipping out...... Note- i don't have mine yet either, ...i finally got shipping yesterday...i was frustrated too, but i understood, in due time it will work out....As excited as I was to get my 6 Plus this morning, I have to say that after a day of using it, I'm a little disappointed I didn't go with the 6.Nice intelligent woman said an internal memo released this morning stated that very fact.I am not only worried about my phone showing up Friday, but I am worried because I need to grab one for my wife and son at the store Friday morning. She apologized profusely for me not getting my phone right away, and I kind of hemmed and hawed about them not being able to expedite the shipping without getting mean or being rude (she really was a very nice young lady; I have no idea how she sounded so enthusiastic this early in the morning), and then she finally said "But you know what I could do..." and offered me a free leather case.No thank u - verizon is where I will be - my main reason for moving was pricing - Tamara made that a non issue I am happy it is over - checked the Att acct this morning and it is with a zero balance and closed - and it will remain that wayJust got a 5s space gray 32 this morning ~ Nice phone - and happy to have an iPhone again (and a black phone).I was one of the 'lucky' few that got a 64GB Silver on the morning of launch ('lucky' in quotes because my son and I were first in line at our local Apple store, getting in line around 2:30 pm Thursday).I am really glad to wake up this morning and see the US have officially shipped, that's great news!I have Beta 3 on my 4S in the UK and it's brilliant, it's very usable and HE has a bit of a attitude, I listen to music whilst on the train / walking to/from work and when I asked him the time this morning he said "The time sponsored is 08:15 am, beep" haha quite impressive.Yes, no one get too excited about shipping, I received the emails/texts for my gold on the 4th, tracking didn't show up until yesterday, and then the news was only that an electronic shipping label had been created, it finally departed Memphis this morning with an expected delivery of THURSDAY, and I literally live a mere 4 hours from there!!!I had preordered mine and have already received it but if I hadn't been lucky enough to get through the horrid preordering system (Apple & AT&T kept crashing), then I would've lined up Friday morning & would've probably experienced the same disappointment.Just sent this email to the address that was suggested earlier....couldnt be more disappointed in AT&T right now: Good morning Mr. Stephenson, First off let me start by telling you how utterly disappointed I am in the preorder process for the iphone 6 plus. There will be some super disappointed people on this thread come tonight and tomm morning, target screwed me so bad last yearHey guys, I got my new iPhone 5 yesterday (switched from blackberry and i'm soo happy) but the battery life isn't all that great.I'm running on 6.1.2 If I leave home at 7:00 in the morning, it will only last me to 3 in the afternoon.

location
It seems clear from your description that when moving, the location will be problematic, but I'm still unclear as to why would this would be the case even when I'm standing stock still.Funny thing is years ago when I lived in California I also lived in a location that most people consider typically Southern California..A nice 2 story apartment building in a small canyon full of sagebrush and cactus, built around a big kidney shaped pool with palm trees all around. It looks great on the iPhone 5 and the recent addition of location data and weather data at the time of posting is really nice.I'm not worried about it not showing up on the 21st but like others have stated, it is frustrating to not be able to track and follow the location of my iPhone when almost everyone else is able to.All of the guides I'm finding on the web are assuming my iTunes content is stored in the default location (it isn't) or involve a bunch of weird steps involving adding fake calendar events or messing around with plist files. Here's the strange thing about my service.....I can have terrible service one day and then decent service the very next day, same exact location (standing in my front yard).Nothing really I have my wifi and Bluetooth on, but I turned off most the the location services I don't need and left only the ones I need like camera, find my iphone etc, with everything thing on I should get close to 7-9 hours, but to be honest I mostly used it so far for normal usage, no map usage today such as Waze, it drains battery power like mad, I'll post update lasted tomorrow after using Waze to show the difference in battery power. If you're so worried about pre-signing then worry about a dishonest driver pulling up to a location close to your home, signing for the package themselves, and taking your iPhone and selling it.

Biggest pro of the S cycle: abundant support, both hardware wise and software wise.I am happy to report impressive battery life since the update so it seems to be working well on my iPhone 6 iPhone 6 64GB (AT&T) // iPad Mini (Wifi) // 2013 MacBook Pro RetinaAnyone who can't follow along need only to look at the stunning, radical, beautiful new Mac Pro, there's a very current example of the mans great talent in design.Wow, Amazing used my iPhone 6 today on Three 4G Tuneinradio Pro 1 Hour 40 Minutes streaming via bluetooth/4G only Only lost 14%battery life wow amazing my iPhone 5s always drop to 70% after 1 Hour 40minutes streaming cannot wait to try my iPhone 6 Plus on 4G.They should have just done this iPhone Star MEGA iPhone MEGA iPhone 6S Mini iPhone Young iPhone ACE 4G LTE iPhone 4G LTE A iPhone ROUND S iPhone BEND PLUS S iPhone EDGE iPhone NO EDGE iPhone PRO iPhone ROYAL iPhone SuperSmart iPhone SuperDumb iPhone Kaptuer iPhone Patented iPhone Wonderful iPhone Magical iPhone Bigger than Bigger iPhone The U2 U Don't Want And that's just the first six months!I had exhibited my photos even made with my iPhone 4, so creativity is more important then anything (I have a nice DSLR with pro lenses for sharp, micro... images if I need features such as IS)... Now, I hold my 6 confidently, easely (I even have lond fingers), descretely if I want, screen size is perfect, nice for photo viewing, navigation, browsing internet, traveling to other places and speaking/making photos without drawing too much attention... Will defenately chose the same size the next time. You know it's funny, with the Macbook Pro line, the 15" and 17" models were always superior (higher resolution, dedicated GPU, more RAM, longer battery, etc) however people did not feel bad about getting the 13", as it was the best combo of portability and power for most.: I buy a MacBook Pro and begin switching to OS X. I'm amazed at how great it is, after years of deriding them as being overpriced playthings for artists, but nothing I'd ever do serious IT work with.2 Mac Minis MacBook Pro 13 2011 2 Apple TV Airport Basestation Extreme Airport express iPad 2 iPad mini iPad Air 2 iPhone 5 (one for me, one for wife) Bluetooth keyboards Magic Trackpads Magic Mouse USB keyboard Numerous chargers, cables, Cool starry bras. For me the 6 is awkward to use and the pro of extra screen size doesn't (for me anyway) outweigh the con of how awkward I find it to use.I remember I was at the genius bar 3 days in a row for about 3 hours when my old MacBook Pro broke, I felt so bad because it was the same genius bar girl, she was super nice but I was about to go offer her something to eat on me (especially since the repair ended up costing nothing).I've experienced how ****** this is on the Retina MacBook Pro when set to the higher than optimal retina setting and it's not a great experience. The imac 21 is inferior to the 27" and thy are both inferior to the mac pro.
update
Ill stay at least until Gingersnap gets hers from apple and she becomes happy again- Update: Tracking number updated and phone is shipping from Fort Worth, TX and its Next day air!I am beyond sure as apps get optimized and iOS gets further updated and streamlined, the Plus is more then capable of running at 60 fps constant no lag, iOS 8 is defitnetly rushed out the door a bit...but it is also the biggest iOS update ever with over 4000 new API's ...i am sure they will fix performance and that stuttering, and also all app submissions by February 2015 need to be 64 bit capable, that alone right there switching the app from 32-bit to 64-bit gives a 10% performance increase right off the bat from the use of extra registers of the CPU(so next year we will get very nice performance gains as apps start getting 64 bit capable) Anyways going off topic a bit lol, but I agree the Plus is defitnetly the first iPhone at launch that wasn't 100% perfectly smooth with those options turned off(stock) A little bit suprising but, by no means is it slow in apps or performance wise at all, it is a very fast phone in operation, just animation stutters and sputters and tab reloadingI am happy to report impressive battery life since the update so it seems to be working well on my iPhone 6 iPhone 6 64GB (AT&T) // iPad Mini (Wifi) // 2013 MacBook Pro RetinaDid that and the apps were updated, after a short while. The funny thing is that instead of showing 'Open' beside every updated app in the updates section of the App Store,it shows 'Update'.I've confirmed that the apps were updated (compared the latest version in the App Store and on my phone, they were the same). Not that it actually affects anything but i just find it weird.I agree with you and totally get your point BUT now with IOS 8 + the new iPhones, i do not think 16GB is enough to work at a level that most people will be happy with and also have some freedom, it puts limiations on what one can or can't do - this is why Apple should have started with 32GB not 16GB, i am actually shocked that Apple even bothered to make a 16GB but i think this was a last chance deal for them...... a LOT of people travel and you need more than 16GB to just put some movies on a device movies have grown to HD and have iTunes extras + such, next step would be to drop SD - disney has upgraded every digital movie that years ago were only in SD to now HD + Universal will do HD if you provide them with digital info.....i have 3+GB left on a new wireless iPad mini (kids use) i did the update connected to iTunes so it took less space...had to delete every app off to update to IOS 8 - nothing else is on it as we use iTunes match - the apps are getting updated so much faster then ever before and they are being created for new IOS 8 and the app file size is bigger...then, bono (U2) is now working with apple to create a whole new music file/type, i'm sure it will take up way more space.... so while one could make 16GB work with wireless, iTunes match + the ease of using (the soon to come) iCloud storage for your photos + such, it is still very limiting - i don't need 64GB but i bought it b/c 16GB is way too small for me now and i will keep it for 2 years - in the past, i have always used 16GB.... also, people now have more options, they may want to upgrade every year, buy iPhones outright, lease iPhone's as everything has changed in the whole cellular game....in the next 2 years, apple has to drop 16GB, they got away with it this time by offering our lives in the iCloud and since we don't know yet what it will be like (on purpose i am sure) they played us to a degree - i say to a degree b/c on the flip side they offered 4 times the GB (64GB) for what in the past would have historically cost $200 more for $100 less - i love them, don't get me wrong, i am so happy with my 64GB iPhone 6+ and i love the freedom now b/c i was starting to not to have it with my last iPhone at 16GBBeautiful screen alone was worth the update.Pre-ordered 6+ 64GB SG @ 1.46am CDT on 9/12 Estimated delivery 10/2 - 10/13 My AT&T site reads 'pending shipment' Cancel button on premier site reappeared 3-4 days ago No sign of any shipment or tracking number Happy for others seeing some progress ... just wish I could see some kind of update!iOS7 was a nice update and made the my iPhone 5 feel like a new phone again and if nothing else the iPad Air I just purchased was nice due to it's speed and screen. The Nexus 5 for me has been great, it was my first 4G phone (London) and signal is great, battery was a bit meh but I wiped my phone and has since doubled, the camera is good enough, the 4.2.2 update fixed the slow focusing. The 6 runs the 64bit chip while he 5 dose not and with each iOS update you will see you 5 getting worse and worse. With the shoddy update that was/is iOS 8, your phone could get bricked/slowed down thanks to terrible coding.Disappointed, hope it will be a future update as it's handy, but definitely not enough for me to go and buy the plus.Got tired of the phone looking mismatched, and tired of having to reapply icons after every update.I was also a bit annoyed at how quickly Apple drop update support for previous models (little did I realise how much worse the situation can be with non-Nexus devices on Android).****^ I don't find your sarcasm amusing The end tester(s) @ Apple that gave the go ahead to release this update needs to be fired Sad....Steve Job has passed awayIt's the same thing every time we have one of these.... Everyone gets all spun up and Apple Logos appear in their eyes....We make ludicrous posts about how Apple is the greatest and we can't wait to stand in line at 3 am to purchase it.... And then the Keynote happens and we will come back and say what an awful update that was and how underwhelmed we are by the newest Apple offerings....Then we may buy it...We may preorder it but only because the battery life sucks on the 6 month old 5S we currently have....Worked great, but was made obsolete quite soon with that terrible iOS 4 update that basically killed the performance.Nothing really I have my wifi and Bluetooth on, but I turned off most the the location services I don't need and left only the ones I need like camera, find my iphone etc, with everything thing on I should get close to 7-9 hours, but to be honest I mostly used it so far for normal usage, no map usage today such as Waze, it drains battery power like mad, I'll post update lasted tomorrow after using Waze to show the difference in battery power.Twice Also did a ##update# no luck Googled the issue, and every result was indicating a bad SIM - although, they were posts for 4, 4S and 5 (Around October 8 for the 5) which did not correlate to an update I would not really even consider the update being an issue if it weren't for a few of us with the same experience of updating, and then immediately having the issue Too weird Anyway, point of the post was to see if anyone else had this, which, some did - and as a heads up for others beating a dead horse now.Being "worried" about an unannounced software update to your mobile phone is, well, pathetic.
stuff
An arbitrary decision, perhaps, but Apple always tries to advance technology and isn't shy about dropping the old stuff.I'm glad to see that you got your training in Internet Condescension, but I've actually noticed some weird stuff going on with this since iOS 8.I love the camera in the 6 Plus, it is truly amazing that we have a phone camera with optical image stabilization, just amazing, You only see this kinda stuff in bigger cameras, and not in phones, that's a + for the 6+ On the other hand, I've never owned an iPad, but I always wanted one since the first one. It's nice to see some women here on the forums to talk about tech-y stuff with My Verizon Space Grey 64 GB iPhone 6 Plus will be delivered today and I am SO excited! So far, things I prefer about the 5.5 On-screen keyboard size The resolution of the display, fit much more on screen and photos look awesome The physical finish of the device, better than the 4.7 Stuff I prefer about the 4.7 More compact Easier one handed use Minor but noticeably better performance.Amazingly enough the Plus does fit in the front pocket of my baggy mom jeans that I wear most of the time I'm in my ordinary routine...even with a bulky case on it will fit, though I'll have to change the way I bend down to pick stuff up.It's for people who enjoy 'beautiful' stuff, 'elegant' stuff.Too bad amex wil NOT cover liquid damage, broken screens.. only stuff like a broken home button, volume button, lcd going bad (not shattered)I have a friend on Facebook who feels the need to do this kind of thing with his new LG phone, only 2 months ago he was telling everyone how he was moving away from the iPhone blah blah blah, he was out of contract, the usual stuff people say.Great stuff, I'm glad it's unlocked !I'll still just be as happy, at the end of the day, stuff happens...the only thing you can do is get something (from ATT) to make it worth the wait. However, since I don't have a purse nor really baggy/cargo pants (I don't wear skinny jeans either, I wear stuff that looks good - and that's not anything really baggy and sloppy), I couldn't get over the size of the 6 Plus as I had worries about how it'd fit in my pocket - particularly when sitting down.i m happy enough... he was also pretty nice an hour later when i called in apple for the same reason for my friend, the other rep just told me that apple is not giving free stuff for no reasons... so yea, i ended up getting free cases from apple, and now i m perfectly fine with waiting my phones to arrive at oct. 1..TouchId in the 5s is something I could do with (from using my phone with OS maps on when walking), the iOS8 continuity stuff looks great - I personally find it handy now to tap away iMessages on my mac, and things like air dropping between the two will make it better still.I think this stuff is certainly "worth a damn" and did not cause any crippling lag in my circles. It is still being a bit annoying though and not working every time like it use to (it works most of the time now compared to before when it almost never worked) so I'm still thinking about running into the Apple store if it continues in the next day or two (and I'm really excited to go for first time and check out the displays and all the stuff they sell there). Now the tech stuff aside, there are equally amazing looking and functioning apps on play store as well, and any gap that exists can be leveraged by a smart developer if one wants.People are reading WAY to into this, it was an incident that happened to a phone, and I just shared my experience because I was lucky enough to have been able to catch it and just so happened to post on a forum that talks about this kind of stuff. And, like you say, a good camera app fills in some of the gap -- my favorite is ProCamera because it has lots of good stuff for Video, too (like recording in 720p for less insane file sizes). With Apple all the time innovating back and forth like Steve with his magical special innovating tool like with special wrenches and bigger screen making things and the major predictable censoring camera stuff like never before lately to innovate with big stuff and not lazy anymore to innovate with big imagination muscles and stuff you betcha innovating more than GalaxyS5 can innovate by Tim Cook to innovate the innovating for sure.I'm not sure if my opinion could be met with understanding but after seeing few things with my own eyes I prefer to be bit more grateful with what i have and less lusting over the new stuff because if we are honest, most of the times its the "WANT" inside us that buy things rather than the "NEED" part.A ton of people buy stuff because it is "cool" My kids are a perfect example, I have some awesome Audiotechnica headphones and they would never want them but want Beats because they are "cool"I'm glad that people know some of this stuff on here, it shows how this forum, although is mostly just for fun, can also be an awesome source for interesting and helpful information like thiswindows phone 8, along with some really exciting developers, are going to be bringing a lot of great stuff related to NFC in the near futureThere are some really awesome, well-informed reps... and then some who seem to just make stuff up, lol.The 6 Plus considerably outperforms the Note 4, it gets noticeably better on screen frame rate in games and 3D applications then the Note 4(which also translate to smoother UI performance and stuff like that, there is no reason why the Note 4 stutters and lags in native phone app when scrolling and just scrolling through the home screen) There are tons of demonstrations and benchmarks that clearly show the 6 Plus is the better performer, both off screen/on screen results, it isnt a comparison Nexus 6 suffers from terribly slow read/write speeds due to the FDE in Lollipop, and also Lollipop is completly bug ridden right now You can mention Facebook as a indicator because alot of Android apps still lag and are pretty ******, alot of apps share in common with the Facebook app in terms of performance, its abysmal and sad, the worse GPU/CPU performance and worse battery life is why i went with the 6 Plus over the Note 4 You must of missed or are intentionally deluding/blocking your self out from all the real world/benchmark results that showed the 6 Plus beating the Note 4 about a month ago (Anandtech, few others reporting this ) Hey, Apple is doing something really right though if it offers better performance then the current smartphone competition right now though (better GPU/CPU performance then the 805) and also offers better battery life then current Snapdragon 805 offerings People complain about the "RAM " issue on iOS devices meanwhile Android devices with 2-3x more RAM are still reloading and refreshing applications just as much if not more then iOS devices....oh Android fans...the ironyNot that happy with our police but glad they got your stuff back and no one was hurt.Sorry I need to spell stuff out so clearly for you but: Sarcasm is "a sharp, bitter, or cutting expression or remark; a bitter gibe or taunt."I personally think it sucks because it's become pretty unpleasant to converse about Apple stuff online as you are met with persistent and often brutal negativity.Just Apple's miscalculation that people would be so petty, jealous (of Apple's and iPhone's success) and stupid that they would need to over-engineer their stuff.Got an email from AT&T though reviewing my plan and telling me stuff for my account, but who knows....happy for everyone in the group in shipping mode, feel bad for me, hahaI had 2.3 gingerbread android phone for 18 months and while android itself was fun to use the weak hardware and lack of regular updates let the experience down considerably. So much stuff could be done even without having to root your phone. Then I switched to Lumia 520 and it was a breath of fresh air the simple yet elegant ui is great windows phone 8 is a cool ecosystem.Just this week I bought iPhone 3GS with ios 6 which is a little inferior to iphone 6 i would guess and I like the OS it's smooth and fluid and the phone is also well built although camera quality is not so good but everything else is good.So I like all 3 platforms equally well.I'm used to pre-orders where the production release is 6 months after the product annoucement, and the order window is small so they can build to what the preorder was... Im not saying that necessarily is desirable, but it really would help lessen some of the madness that is this "omg its next week" and the logistics that are involved and the insane it sells out in 1 minute stuff... received both my confirmation of processing and an email for the other reservation from when ATT couldnt verify...not all of us can own a nice fancy stuff but we sure as hell can afford getting the new iphone plus!I have come to the conclusion that the universe does not want me to own an iPhone; probably bad karma from all the bad stuff I have said about Apple in the past.
android devices
Only noticed it in Spotlight, otherwise my Plus ran great still without that on, but Reduce Transparency is everything, Nd i like the black notification center better from the Reduce Transparency, in app performAnce/games are still extremely superb on the Plus Still not as bad at all as the lag Note 4 still has, and the lag modern day Android devices still haveThe 6 Plus considerably outperforms the Note 4, it gets noticeably better on screen frame rate in games and 3D applications then the Note 4(which also translate to smoother UI performance and stuff like that, there is no reason why the Note 4 stutters and lags in native phone app when scrolling and just scrolling through the home screen) There are tons of demonstrations and benchmarks that clearly show the 6 Plus is the better performer, both off screen/on screen results, it isnt a comparison Nexus 6 suffers from terribly slow read/write speeds due to the FDE in Lollipop, and also Lollipop is completly bug ridden right now You can mention Facebook as a indicator because alot of Android apps still lag and are pretty ******, alot of apps share in common with the Facebook app in terms of performance, its abysmal and sad, the worse GPU/CPU performance and worse battery life is why i went with the 6 Plus over the Note 4 You must of missed or are intentionally deluding/blocking your self out from all the real world/benchmark results that showed the 6 Plus beating the Note 4 about a month ago (Anandtech, few others reporting this ) Hey, Apple is doing something really right though if it offers better performance then the current smartphone competition right now though (better GPU/CPU performance then the 805) and also offers better battery life then current Snapdragon 805 offerings People complain about the "RAM " issue on iOS devices meanwhile Android devices with 2-3x more RAM are still reloading and refreshing applications just as much if not more then iOS devices....oh Android fans...the ironyMy whole point was that the reason why Android has such a huge marketshare is because of cheap Android devices , and that basically any OEM can just make a cheap 1GB , 5 megapixel shooter with a simple old dual core and stick 4.1/4.2 on it and sell it for really cheap which is a fact.Looking at Android's premium market compared to iOS(iOS is only premium, Apple obviously doesn't sell anything not premium price) they are alot closer then you think, which says alot considering Apple is only one OEM , compared to the other OEM's on Android pushing out premium flagships left and right Your post says "its a very good OS, user base alone is proof of that" when really the user base is majorly consisted of cheap Android devices, it has such a big user base because Android is cheapSucks you have a defective iPhone 6 with a bad camera, I am beyond enjoying the best smartphone camera on the planet right now and I have taken some incredible shots with my 6 Plus so far, go try an Android phone then where the cameras arent as good Android has its userbase because it is cheap, not because it is so incredible and amazing, 66% of Android devices are 2011 era hardware spec devices, Android's marketshare is so high because it is cheap (majority of Android marketshare is low end devices, the ones with low specs and very cheap, which hey is actually extremely good for the developing world...but it still comes with outdated OS too..)As others have indicated, these statistics are largely meaningless because the vast majority of the 3.5-4.3" phones are cheap Android devices, the sort of devices that people get for $0 with a contract or $99 without a contract.

usage
But it is dishonest and unethical for people to claim "my phone bent" and make claims about "normal usage" or defects near the screw, or mistakes in the forging of the aluminum, or other claims that people have made, rather than just saying "I bent my phone".I'm now very very happy with my 2nd replacement unit which is doing absolutely fine and shows no signs of any bending after 2 1/2 weeks (with the exact same kind of usage that the former iPhone bent under after just 2 days). If I can get 1 hour of moderate usage per 10% I am happy.they are on pace for 6 hours of usage which is not bad with so much Angry Birds, most people with 8 hours of usage do not have a game in their top 5 appsNice size, solid button feedback, Touch ID works perfect, excellent camera and solid battery life for my usage.boy am I glad I kept my unlimited data with AT&T, since moving to the 5s from the 4s, my usage SEEMS to have gone from 400-500, to over 2GB a month. It depends on your needs, Straight talk says Unlimited - however no outside MVNO carrier is going to give you true unlimited data to be honest, so that aside you have to measure your data usages - I on average use 1-1.5GB data, so 2GB has been great for me because I rely on WiFi for roughly 40% of the time and I also avoid videos over cellular as they take big bites out of the monthly data usage.thats amazing battery life I average 7-8 hours usage 1 day standby and i'm very happy with that.Definitely getting worse (but not terrible) battery life out of my 5 compared to my 4 under exactly the same settings and usage.I think i may just be paranoid.. doesn't seem like annoying else is experiencing the same problems under careful usage.Um, PhoneArena battery testing is awful and they dont even disclose how they run their tests, they are not reliable at all, Anandtech has the best real world life usage testing PhoneArena doesnt even disclose how they do their testign, they dont go at all into details, their testing is not reliable and doesnt match more then half the times with multiple other battery tests done by other websites and also reviews Anandtech is one of the most reliable, reputable non biased websites on the web, their results and testing and analysis is really almost unmatched in the industry Anand does not write any articles or post anymore on Anandtech, he has put others complelty in charge and now works basically full time at Apple, you dont just throw out years of extremely reputable fame and non bias and renown that Anandtech has built over the years with the industry, terrible damage control, its widely known now that PhoneArenas testing is flawed and that they dont even disclose their testing Lol yeah, im sure the iPhone 6 plus only gets one hour more of battery life then the 6, what a joke, nobody takes PhoneArenas testing seriously anyway, their testing is flawed they dont even disclose how they do their test I went from a 6 to a Plus and I get way more then one extra hour of battery life with my Plus What do you expect, it powers a Quad HD screen , the GPU has to push more pixels, the display is bigger and has a bigger drain on the battery, the 28nm Snapdragon 805 is not as power efficient as the 20nm Apple A8, this was pretty obvious just by looking at the specs on paperseems like a biased and/or ignorant view on something as basic as battery usage stats.Looking forward to see how the next iPads will fit or not fit in to our usage...I will give him the benefit of the doubt as he at least mentions at the end of the article that he's going to give another week to see how it might fit into or not fit into his phone usage patterns.Horrible build quality...the chrome bezel painting is wearing off, the battery cover scratches so damn easily and the screen gets ********s of fingerprints despite having an oleophobic coating... Now on the software side, things are even more ******... During my first 3 months of usage I had no problems with this phone, everything was fast and smooth. The plus owners will think " i thought im going to watch a lot of movies and playing games with this thing, but 90% of the usage actually chatting and soc med and this thing is so big and annoying it's very hard to use with one hand, i should have got the 6 instead damn!!!"I updated to 7.1.1 to see if it would get better or worse, and I'm losing 1% every 1-2 minutes of usage, even worse. This is my usage, it looks pretty bad: Battery CycleCount: 465 DesignCapacity: 1430 FullChargeCapacity: 1056 Status: Success BatteryCurrentCapacity: 97 BatteryIsCharging: true ExternalChargeCapable: true ExternalConnected: true FullyCharged: false GasGaugeCapability: true My warranty expires on December. So, yes, my usage data is sent to them automatically (I want this resolved as much as anybody--I'm tired of having to go to the Apple store, I'm tired of setting up phone after phone after phone, and I'm tired of explaining everything to each person I speak with at Apple in CA).My 5S had the annoying resistive click when I pushed it certain ways, most frequently when I pressed it in the center and it made it really annoying to double press for multitasking but I am pleased to say that after close to 2 weeks usage it is now performing like it has on all the past iPhones.Contrary to my previous post after only 24hrs with phone and pathetic battery life.... Once fully restored, backed up on iCloud and second full charge to 100%, the current status since last full charge is: Usage: 3 hours 54 mins (approx 4 hours) Standby: 17 hours 41 mins Battery remaining: 50%.Nothing really I have my wifi and Bluetooth on, but I turned off most the the location services I don't need and left only the ones I need like camera, find my iphone etc, with everything thing on I should get close to 7-9 hours, but to be honest I mostly used it so far for normal usage, no map usage today such as Waze, it drains battery power like mad, I'll post update lasted tomorrow after using Waze to show the difference in battery power. The thing that does disturb me on a routine usage is the vertical scan lines or interlaced lines, which makes me dizzy and gives me sore eyes.
software update
updates
The leap from the 5S to the 6 didnt feel like too much of a change really at all besides few obvious welcome changes, but I have switched since to the 6 Plus from the 6, and I have to say the Plus is absolutely incredible and feels like a major big upgrade to iPhone(the screen and battery on the Plus is simply just absolutely fantastic and dramatically better then what Apple has ever offered in the past) and that going to the 6 Plus from the 6 alone feels like a awesome nice upgrade and from the 5s to the 6 Plus is defitnetly absolutely a big difference and feel and change and feels like a very awesome upgrade Keep it, by February 2015 all apps and app updates submitted have to have 64 bit support, which means 35-40% speed boost increase in apps that dont use 64 bit code (plenty to name that dont use 64 bit code yet ; Netflix, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube , Google Maps, bunch others) so roughly around 30% speed boost increase for 5S and 35-40% faster applications for 6/6 Plus for Touch ID my advice and tip to you is register your same finger twice in Touch ID, it makes it tons more accurate and much more consistent and essentially works "perfect" for me after doing this trick, try it Lastly download a good camera app like Camera+, it really does make a difference..-Excellent build quality - Consistent battery life - Great performance - Almost flawless stability - Very bright display - Best app quality when compared with Android - Don't have to wait for carriers when system updates release - Excellent audio quality -Touch ID is a blessingFeels great in the hand, with a nice weight, although after 2 (3 if you include the 6+) screen size updates it does seem pretty small now.Did that and the apps were updated, after a short while. The funny thing is that instead of showing 'Open' beside every updated app in the updates section of the App Store,it shows 'Update'.I've confirmed that the apps were updated (compared the latest version in the App Store and on my phone, they were the same). Not that it actually affects anything but i just find it weird.(This is my favorite thread every year) I think with the 5 I kept refreshing at 9:55p ET, I'm going to try both - I'm sure after tonight we'll know for sure when online store inventory updates. No carrier bloat, fast updates, great camera, everything working smoothly - outstanding. But like I said, I don't think two years in unreasonable for smart phones, especially when Apple updates the iOS rendering the older models obsolete.then the bad radios and the horrible battery life and slow updates and to this day when ever we go look at phones they say don't ever listen to him he'll have u get the worst for Verizon has to offer while tellin u how awesome it is.I am so frustrated and ATT is completely worthless when asking for updates!I had 2.3 gingerbread android phone for 18 months and while android itself was fun to use the weak hardware and lack of regular updates let the experience down considerably. So much stuff could be done even without having to root your phone. Then I switched to Lumia 520 and it was a breath of fresh air the simple yet elegant ui is great windows phone 8 is a cool ecosystem.Just this week I bought iPhone 3GS with ios 6 which is a little inferior to iphone 6 i would guess and I like the OS it's smooth and fluid and the phone is also well built although camera quality is not so good but everything else is good.So I like all 3 platforms equally well.

brightness
my .02$ I have the 4.7. coming from a 5s pro's Camera great Battery great screen color A+, screen coating A+, Brightness A++ Cons: camera lens pokes out imho the foot print is to big, screen size is ok but the phone as a whole feel to big for a 4.7 inch i think it's missing the apple quality design/feel.Ya, my 2nd gen iPod touch is in great condition and the battery is amazing compared to my iPod touch 4 which lasts maybe 20 minutes with brightness on high.I give a sigh and crank brightness to full to see the extent and it's bad, real bad.hey guys ive had my iphone 6 for a week now and i have ios 8.0.2 installed on it, and the battery life is just terrible, i have background app refresh completely off, email push is off and my email account is set to manual instead of fetch, i can't figure out why its so bad, i mean if i dont use the phone then the battery holds up i guess but if i use it to browse facebook or just play a game or whatever it is drainging really quickly.. i also have notifications turned off for nearly every app other than messages and facetime.. i cant figure out whats causing the drainage.. i have my brightness set to 1/4 of the full brightness as well so its not my brightness. For the first months since I purchase the 5s, the battery life was terrible, I've read over the net that the 3-4 hours that I got from 100%, was possible with few degrading variables such as heat, low signal strength , higher brightness, etc.But after having two 5s phones I can say the battery on this one, with more battery saving changes made (no background apps refreshing, screen brightness down, etc), is way worse. If you have every feature activated and your brightness above 50% and a bad cellular connection then your battery life will be much worse.
